After almost six months of work, I'm proud to finally present my integrated commuter rail map of New York City and Philadelphia!

Showing five different commuter rail systems (CT Rail, Metro-North, LIRR, NJ Transit, and SEPTA), this map depicts everywhere a passenger can get to by train from NYC or Philadelphia without using Amtrak.

This is by far the most complicated map I've ever made, but I'm incredibly happy with the result! I'm planning to write some notes on the process of making this, but for now, I'm just proud that it's finally done.

“You sound crazy,” Janis tells her when Cady shares her theory. “Regina is not your soulmate. She’s a blood-sucking parasite who will leave you shriveled up and dead when she’s done with you.”

“Like a tsetse,” Cady says.

“Bless you.”

“No,” Cady says. “It’s a fly indigenous to sub-Saharan Africa that feeds on humans and other mammals. They’re notorious for transmitting disease.”

“Exactly.” Janis snaps her fingers. “Regina is like that. And now you have a disease.”

Cady frowns. “No, I don’t.”

“You do,” Janis counters. “She’s burrowed into your brain and has you saying batshit stuff like what if we feel each other’s pain? I’m speaking from experience here, Cady. Learn from me.”

“Maybe you’re right,” Cady admits quietly. “I don’t know how to stop it, though.”

Janis sighs wearily, like a person who has just put down a great load. “You have to stop giving her attention. Stop clapping and she dies.”

“What?” Cady asks, confused.

Janis blinks at her. “Tinkerbell?”

“Who?”

Janis waves a hand. “Never mind. Stop trying to fix her, Cady. You’re only feeding into the insanity.”

Armie’s first post after deleting everything from his IG and two days after Tim announced his appearance on SNL was such a wonderful surprise when it happened that some of us may not have connected those dots. I was focused on why he was on a Metro North train and wondering where he was going. how many pantographs u got, r u in that 4 pantograph config? the 2? the 1?

Pantographs? Like on an Electric Train? Well Electric Locomotives usually have two, but Multiple Units generally have one or two per power car but if course you usually only use half of your total number of pantographs and how many you have in total is dependent on the formation of your train
