A Group of Artists Just Replaced the MTA’s Ads With Pro-Palestine Posters
“Our politicians aren't doing anything, our leaders aren't doing anything, celebrities aren't doing anything," the organizer said. "But when you ask most people, they're on our side. So we're trying to do something symbolic, and we also want to get people involved, ultimately.”

After almost six months of work, I'm proud to finally present my integrated commuter rail map of New York City and Philadelphia!
Showing five different commuter rail systems (CT Rail, Metro-North, LIRR, NJ Transit, and SEPTA), this map depicts everywhere a passenger can get to by train from NYC or Philadelphia without using Amtrak.
This is by far the most complicated map I've ever made, but I'm incredibly happy with the result! I'm planning to write some notes on the process of making this, but for now, I'm just proud that it's finally done.

I've been thinking about this for a while, but something I've really come to appreciate about the World of Darkness as a setting is something that might be a little counterintuitive?
WoD is a dark and gloomy place. It's our world, but darker, more sinister and in a lot of ways, outright worse, in some more convenient. But despite this, despite the doom and gloom hanging over the world, whether it's vampires believing that Gehenna is nigh and the Antideluvians will soon wake from their slumber and devour the world whole, or werewolves locked in a war against devastation of the world (and the entire universe really), or mages... life just goes on.
Sure, for most people, life goes on, because they're blissfully unaware of what is happening backstage. Even if they did, what could a mortal do, faced with vampires as old as the calendar they use, or an agent of balance driven mad and bent on destroying everything? (Admittedly, Hunter shows that yes, mortals can make a difference). But more importantly, despite it all, there's hope.
There's these little specks of light in the dark, those people, whether Kindred, Garou, Changeling, Mage or mortal that try to build their own little slice of paradise amidst the storm. And that's why I love it so much.
The world may be a dark place, full of horror and uncertainty, but even amidst those, light and hope will find a way. However brief or enduring that proves to be.

Sometimes I rly feel like the wod Fandom needs to remember that while the wod is dark, it's also goofy as fuck and it's ok to laugh at it and point out how ridiculous something is.
Wizards killed an old vampire with space lasers. There is an evil company which puts demons into burgers. During the war in Atlanta someone replaced the round business table where the lasombras were arguing with a reflective square table which increased the body count during the meeting.
It's ok to laugh. We don't need to be defensive of our fav game.
