The Mundane

The Mundane realm, also known as the physical realm, or Lesser Maldera—not to be confused with the collective planar system of Greater Maldera—consists of a single plane within the cosmos, that of physical matter, and all the solar and planetary systems it contains. While current technology allows for knowledge of the existence of other such systems, it is—in its current state—unfit for any form of in depth observation, or exploration of any kind, of even the distant locations of our own system. As such the vast majority of our knowledge of the plane as a whole, comes from information we can gather within the bounds of our own planet—also called Maldera for reasons one can only assume to be a lack of creativity on part of the Scholars of the past—and limited travel to the moons thereof.

Danny is very displeased. He’s going to bite Clockwork and complain his ear off because this is just utter bullshit. 

He’s stuck as a baby, which isn’t his fault. Okay so maybe it was a little bit his fault, but no one had told him not to touch the thing! And Clockwork is apparently too busy to fix his situation. Personally Danny is pretty sure he’s just enjoying being able to carry him around, what with the purr-buzzing and all that. 

Which okay, it’s kind of nice and is making him kind of sleepy but still! He’s supposed to be angry about this situation and biting at his hands! Which he shall continue to do! … after this nap, it’s been a while since he was able to get some proper sleep.

Okay whoever just woke him up is going to have to catch his itty bitty baby hands! At least Clockwork looks just as unimpressed as he is now, and the people around the summoning circle look confused- save for a trenchcoat dude who looks horrified.

#kingdom hearts 0.2 birth by sleep a fragmentary passage #kh0.2 #the world within #dwarf woodlands #realm of darkness #scenery #my gif #this world is interesting because it's so different from the rest #the sky looks like some sort of dome with triangular screens that project a broken glitchy sky #almost as if it takes place in some kind of data simulation #which i don't think is the case but it adds to the feeling of aqua's experiences here not feeling ''real'' #i mean this place hardly even resembles what the original world is supposed to look like #like it changed to match aqua's psyche. forcing her to look at her own reflection and confront her own fears; doubts; guilt; and sadness #actually now that i think about it this feels extremely fitting for this world #it's like when snow white was running through the forest and was so afraid that it made the trees around her look alive and dangerous #except aqua has to wander this broken world and face her dark thoughts that take shape by looking exactly like her #she's constantly running in and out of mirrors into rooms that make no logical sense like the endless staircase and the pillar maze #there are ghostly echoes spoken in her own voice that mock her by saying no one can save her and no one wants to. it's chilling #i can't even say for sure if the phantom aquas are actually physically there or if it's all in her head #similar to how she'd see visions of terra and ven #she's such a tragic character

Listen, I love the "Bad Parents Maddie and Jack" Angst as much as the next phan, but this is way funnier, catarthic and likely to happen.

Just— all the batsiblings having fudge with hot drinks under an improvised blank fort the giant goofy man (their new dad, apparently?) made for them, on-site, and listening silly (real) ghost stories. Meanwhile, the short woman in a cyan hazmat suit is slamming Batman against the floor back and forth, like a kid playing with a doll.

You know what @f4nd0m-fun I literally finished this last night, so here, have the lil baby hydra. From several prompts.

They're still mostly baby colors, which is all monochrome, but are juuust starting to get more colors like their underbellies and their heads are starting to lighten up, but will start shifting color eventually.

Which makes me wonder what kind of thing might happen if someone tries to study the realm hydras....
