Not enough people understand the true nature of Jurassic Park methinks. Can it be enjoyed as a dinosaur horror? Absolutely. But I personally think it's much more enjoyable as a biological sci-fi. These aren't dinosaurs, they are biological monsters made in the shape of dinosaurs. They cut corners, they used frog DNA to fill in what they didn't have. John Hammond brought these experts along to see if their reactions would be "Oh my god that's a dinosaur" and then moved along when it was exactly that. But idk, that's just me.

This game's gameplay, writing and character design pisses me off SO MUCH as a dinosaur nerd so I had to vent my anger by drawing equally shitty doodles of two of the characters as ACTUAL DINOSAURS instead of. That. anyway what's the point of having a "your choices matter" warning with only ONE ENDING to the game. RPG maker horror games from the early 2010's have more player agency than this.

Quetzacoatlus (i think i spelled it right?) was a pteradon (so not a dinosaur but lived around the same time as- #cretaceous dinosaurs like T Rex and Triceratops) #that grew up to roughly the height of a giraffe with wingspan of about 33 feet/10.something meters #what also makes them look even bigger was their diet #they often fed on Magyarosaurus which were some of the smallest ever sauropods at a height of under 2 meters/6 and a half feet tall* #*sauropods are the long necked dinosaurs. The biggest dinosaur ever belonged to the sauropod group and yet magyarosaurs were barely the- #height of an average person #gushing rn #there was a lot of confusion about sauropods for a while because it wwas hard to tell whether 2 differnt ones (i believe bronto and apato)- #were actually the same species or not. the main evidence from what i remember was that there was less variation between the skulls than- #modern day girrafes. but i think they were eventually decided they were individual #because of like leg structure and that #dinosaur talk #anyway. i like dinosaurs #faves
