This weekend the Fresh Start social wellness committee planned bowling in both #calgary and #lethbridge. Counsellor Ian scored the highest in Calgary and down in Lethbridge the competition was so fierce that there was no time for pictures. The #socialwellness committee plans activities and outings to bring together #staff outside of the centres to get to know one another and to build relationships. We all know that life can be confusing and sometimes it's hard to know which way to go. It seems like every day we're confronted with a new choice or decision to make and more often than not we don't have a clue what the right thing to do is. Here is an important piece of advice. Just stop asking people for directions, advice, or opinions about things they have never experienced. Write down your list of friends, associates, and family members and on another piece of paper write a list of buckets you need in your life, for example: accountability partner, prayer, wisdom, laughter, receiver etc. Go down the list of people and put them in the appropriate bucket and put question marks besides the ones you are not sure about. In time all people in your life will show you what bucket they belong in and you act accordingly, meaning when you need prayer, call the person who can and will pray, when you need to laugh, call the jokester, etc...
