I think I know why Lucifer is so into the circus stuff and entertainment.

Sera says Emily's job is to keep Heaven's souls happy. We know Emily is a younger seraphim, so I think she was created to replace Lucifer. This means Lucifer's job as a seraphim would have also been along the lines of keeping humans happy, just in Eden instead of in Heaven.

Even though he fell, entertaining is still ingrained into him - it was his purpose, and still feels like it is to him.

¹Samael<Lucy's angel name>, Lucifer, The Morningstar etc. funnily enough i wasn't aware that He is the Twin of Michael.

² pretty much what we already knew. More angels were "cast down"³ than just Lucifer. Just remember like him, the other cast down angels have self assigned names to show they are independent from the control of god, gone from the light. On a random tangent, i cannot remember what Asmodeus's father's name is (child of angel and man). I do love the name. Maybe it was Azazel? That tickles that memory a bit.

Anyways....

They're not one of the Lamb as they were created to be. Remember, they are this god's first children, designed to only obey and follow that bastards orders like blind, unquestioning servants. Which is pretty much a big part of Samael evolution into the "now", Lucifer's identity.

The Bible often refers to Samael/Lucifer as a dragon or serpent. I wish they kept the ancient bit as to make a point of Lucy being an eternal, always has and always will exist Adversary of that bastard.

Yeah..... Even if Deities or their servants are created later in "eternal time"(sorry, that's the best way i can describe it), they will always have always been and will always be. It's a thing throughout all religions that mention eternal beings. But anyways, forget that and angel names stuff for the time being. That can be a fun topic of its own. Also it's hard.... Lineages and such get involved. As you can imagine, it gets pretty messy.

³ Cast down. Onto The Earth. From there they influenced early humanity before being forced into what we know as Hell. My memory fails me as to why and how they were forced "below" The Earth, but I'll find out as i read more... Probably found in more detail and more entertaining in more of the older Bibles, deuterocanonical stuff and other "inspired" writings.

Oh well. We can learn that together! Or you can tell me and I'll post about it, then find ways to expand and reference beyond the prompt.... Though I'll do references next time. I just went off memory for most of this bar the passage from Revelation. Which i should have done here, with this post.

Honestly i regretted that i focused so much on Solomon's writs and his letters to his sons. I should have been doing the obvious. Current and old Bibles. That's where the good shit is. Then we can focus on where earthly connections lies in the stuff that have been created (or divinely inspired) like Solomon's writings and everything that influenced/created it.

yeah. I said created. It's currently only an entertained thought that it was his original work.... Or King Solomon had anything to do with it. But, still. The "Keys" transcripts has interesting details and it's fairly easy to find links to older works, holy works and Devil worship stuff. Just gotta find it on the net. Which is a PITA. There's sooo many red herrings. But I'll sort through it and make sure what i find are well referenced and confirmed to be of a certain age or written by a scholar/prominent figure (or they're Canonical/Deuterocanonical).

But yeah... my idea of revisiting the writs of Solomon by the researchers in the Library of London etc, is a moot point. Much more interesting more intact/complete books, tomes and grimoires that would have influenced these sets of fabricated (or not) works. This opens me up to so much amazing bits of work, paintings, instructions and such. So. Sorry. I'm an idiot.

New animalistic stuff! Constructive criticism is welcome, I think this one needs it.

This is Sameal, or Satan as they're commonly known (Sameal was Satan's name before they fell)

I'm gonna revise their design, idk how yet. I think the wings are the issue. They'll still be rainbow in the redesign, they'll just be different.

Talking about the design under the cut

Originally the eyes were going to be all over their body, and white with black pupils, but I think I like these ones better because they're still pretty and have reason in his design, but don't clutter the design too much (given the GIANT rainbow wings) and still give attention to their main two eyes.

I know someone is going to say something about the eye on the crotch (my dad did when he saw it), so I'll explain the reason for it:

Adam and Eve in Eden were naked. Genitals out, didn't give a crap. Until the original sin happened, and then they were like "Balls bad :("

Bodies were not sinful until they were given a sinful meaning.

The Lord of Light & His Servant

"If the sons and daughters of Alfheim want to fight a frivolous war, they are sorely mistaken that it is anything but. At this moment, my light is pressing against the boundaries of their world. Yet they resist me."

"Lord, are we certain we need--" M was met with a stare. With a slight increasing heated pressure on his physical form. --I apologize, lord. It's just that it seems pointless to continue these raids. For what purpose do we gain?"

The lord of light tapped his fingers along the armrest of his pure white throne. He smiled, and his eyes gazed towards M in a manner that made M feel very uncomfortable. He gulped only once, and his lord got up. Circling around him.

"If they believe their ridiculous puny shield can stand up against the might of my light, then they are fools. What aught is to gain Mik? To show the multiverse my unfathomable and unquestionable rule!"

Mik's lip twitched, but it didn't go unnoticed.

"OH, You have something to say?"

"I-it's just, if your plan is to envelop every world into your light, then how can anyone be shown the truth of your glory?"

The Lord laughed, pacing around Mik like a predator waiting to pounce. Which was odd, because he was much shorter than Mik, and not wearing any armor.

"OH, Mikhail, so unaware, so new to this game we gods play. If all is within my light, they will see. Once my ascension is complete." The lord said, trotting his way back towards his throne, sitting down, looking over his nails. "And the boy, has he been found yet? I had him once, until my brother interfered.

"N-no, w-we believe that he may have.." Mikhail hesitated. Nervously shaking.

The lord stopped playing with his nails and stared at him venomously. "He may have what, Mikhail?" He said, gripping his throne.

"We believe he may have..escaped our grasp..fled Midgard, Sire." Mikhail began trembling.

The pure white room began to shake, and a vein of pure light traveled towards Mikhail from the throne.

"Mikhail." The lord of light spoke in one of the most insidious voices he'd ever heard. Deeper than you'd think a little boy could speak.

"Y-y-yes S-s-sire?" Mikhail trembled, fearing for his life. He knew he shouldn't of said anything, even questioned him beforehand. But he didn't have a choice, he had asked him directly.

"Is there something wrong with your men? Is it their training? Their..lack of experience in being newly formed? Or is it perhaps your incompetence that keeps them from giving me what I desire?"

"W-we were to late in scrying for his location, Lord. Your brother made it very difficult, almost impossible. Be time we reached his hide-out in Midgard, the boy was gone."

The Lord's eyes flicked up, looking over Mikhail after listening. He clicked his tongue in his mouth, scoffing.

"Of course, I suppose you could not be expected to compete with one who is so conniving and wretched as my dear brother."

Mikhail sighed a heavy relief internally. Feeling as though a great pressure was lifted off him.

"However, it seems I'll have to take a more...direct approach" The lord said, making Mikhail sweat profusely. Before he was even able to ask, the Lord of Light sent his searing light directly into Mikhail from the floor below, engulfing his servant. When the light dissipated, Mikhail was changed, changed into grotesque, and hideous. The likes of which none had ever seen in three thousand years. Appearing as the ancient text states. The Lord laughed in response when the monstrosity cowered before him. He simply flicked his hand, and they were whisked away somewhere.

"As for that boy.." the Lord said to himself. "I guess I'll have to find him myself."

slight confusion tho: what pronouns am I meant to be using for Lucifer? I could've sworn on the walk up Dream was using he/him but now obviously that doesn't feel appropriate. I'm going with they/them because I feel like as an angel Lucifer probably operates outside of the human understanding of gender, but also I'm wondering if just wasn't meant to think on it this hard.
