The labeling of Nex Benedict's murder as a "suicide" by Oklahoma officials, and seemingly most media outlets' unthinking repetition of this, as well as of the narrative of a "fight" (implying equal guilt on both sides) has filled me with a specific kind of rage that I have seldom felt since Trump was in office. I genuinely feel the desire to do violence. I won't, and I know it would likely be worse than pointless, but the feeling is there.

And you know what, even if it was a "suicide", it wouldn't fucking matter. I know for most people it's probably just an excuse to victim-blame and let the murderers off the hook, but if a child commits suicide after being bullied and beaten by their classmates, THAT'S STILL A FUCKING MURDER.

Nex Benedict, trans indigenous child, was murdered by fellow students, with the indirect complicity of school staff, the State of Oklahoma, the Republican Fascist Party, and the Christian Right.

This is a flag for people who identify as a TransGirl/Trans Girl.

Stripe meanings

-Dark green stripes 1+9: Appreciation for elder transfems and historical transfem figures.

-Medium green stripes 2+8: Transgirls who haven’t come out yet.

-Light green stripes 3+7: GNC transgirls.

-Green-ish pink stripes 4+6: Solidarity with other trans people.

-Pink stripe 5: Being transfem. (The colour of this stripe was taken from the middle stripe of the most well known transfem flag)

I’ve looked for hours all over tumblr and Pinterest and even Google images, for a flag made specifically for Transwomen and Transgirls that weren’t just general transfem flags, but surprisingly, it seems as though a Transwoman/Transgirl flag hasn’t existed at all yet, which is why I made my own.

I made separate flags for people who identify as Transgirls and Transwomen. Even though many people use those labels interchangeably to refer to themselves, I have met a few people who only feel comfortable with one of those labels over the other. Like a person might feel like their a girl but not a woman or a woman but not a girl. The separate flags are meant to acknowledge that not everyone uses the 2 labels interchangeably in their trans experience.

Listen. New or questioning trans girl. People will say that wearing a skirt and panties giving you a boner is proof that what you're doing is unnatural. This is untrue. You are experiencing the sense of liking how you look: something most cis people have. You have begun to enjoy your body, something that has been absent for years. Since some "TERF" piece of shit decided to troll me with abusive and defamatory comments again because I don't agree that women are defined by their reproductive organs or that trans people are an ideology pushed by groomers (X group is pedophiles preying on our children, especially girls, being one of the classic tropes of genocide propaganda), here's a reminder:

TERFs do not exist. You do not deserve and will not get a special fancy label to differentiate you from the other Nazis.

You are just Nazis, spouting decades-old fascist genocide propaganda and centuries old patriarchal Christian genocide propaganda, under a VERY thin new coat of paint. You repeat their rhetoric, march along side them, and target the people they target, and I don't care why you think you do it, if it quacks like a Nazi it's a Nazi, and a Nazi is a Nazi is a Goddamn worthless motherfucking Nazi.

PS: You won't protect the rights of women by trampling on an even more oppressed and marginalized group, and trying to gatekeep who is and isn't a "real woman". I wonder how many transphobic "feminists" will be shocked when they find out that laws banning drag can be used to bar cis women by law from wearing anything but "traditional" female clothes, just to take one small example.
