So I had them put as Bassist, Drummer, and guy who plays the whistle because of a thing in AAI but Im now realizing it might supposed to be that Daryan plays bass and there's a keyboard in there? I'm not sure if his guitar is ever referred to as a bass in 4-3 so might have to check the wiki for when I'm properly adjusting them

^Brandon Hammer. Bassist unless Daryan is bassist then he's keyboard player I Guess. Judge, about a year older than Klavier, went to Themis. Real/Legal name Brandon Irons, he goes by Hammer as a stage name because (long winded explanation incoming) He grew up with a single mom but found out that he was the child of a one night stand with Jack Hammer. as in. the victim from Turnabout Samurai. And he found out BECAUSE Jack Hammer died (so in-universe at around probably 15 or 16)

^Luke O'Way. This is the guy with the literal Dickensian style birth who grew up to be Just Some Guy. Loves cats, Sadly allergic. He's the drummer of the Gavinners and a medical examiner. A bit younger than Klavier. Kind of viewed as like an Emo Softboy by Gavinners fans. Owns a minivan, probably the best at deescalating any arguments.

>Ham Ittup. (I have a picture of him but its on my computer and I don't want to open it rn). Probably the guy I need to actually rework but. initially put him as a normal ass cop who's kind of just irritating and boastful. Plays the whistle (come from that one dialogue in AAI) Tbh the better/best part of him is the fact that I gave him 2 siblings also with pun names (Yukon "Yuk" Ittup, a comedian, and Ringo Ittup, a cashier. Also mom Liv Ittup. he has a dad who was a part of his life but i cant think of a pun).

For the record, Luke and Ham's names come from me trying to think "what are some normal man names" and my first two thoughts were Luke and Ham. Brandon comes from searching desperately for a judge pun name, landing on "bring down the hammer" and then realizing that Hammer is an established last name in the aa universe.

Ok, I'll try. One of the issues is that they're usually either Paul or John people which means they make less of an effort to look under the surface when it comes to George and Ringo. I always see the same conclusions drawn about George. The quiet one who became spiritual, thought he was better than everyone else, the grump, the late bloomer, hated Paul, hated The Beatles & their fans, etc. It's always the same thing with no attempt to look deeper or consider other possibilities. 1/2

I don’t actually read group biographies that often, but from what I have read, aside from maybe lewisohn, this seems fairly accurate, if generalized. I would love it if biographers could focus more on his incredible confidence and personal independence at a young age. he did his hair in his own unique way even though the school didn’t like it; he spent far more time on the guitar than on schoolwork because that’s what he liked and damn everything else; he looked at the quarrymen, that group of older and therefore automatically cooler boys, and knew he deserved to be there, and auditioned, and nailed it. I think it would be interesting to contrast that with how inferior he clearly felt within the Beatles as they got famous, and how he had to kind of come back from that, while at the same time dealing with the leftover trauma of touring and fame. I also wish they’d try to delve deeper into the psychologically tangled three way dynamic between George and John and Paul, and the individual relationships he had with both of them. That troika is so wild and interesting to me, the way they functioned, and eventually the way they were all balanced and calmed by Ringo. Tbh I think they would have imploded so much faster as a band without Ringo there; bringing Ringo in might have been the smartest move George ever made, and I’d love an exploration of why he did that. (Maybe Lewisohn went into that and I just don’t remember, lmao, it was a long ass book.)

If there are any books that come closer to getting him right, please recommend them. I’d love to read more about him.

The love language concept sounds interesting! I’d say George’s love language/the way he shows love is physical touch, Paul’s is receiving gifts, Ringo’s is positive affirmation mixed with quality time, and tbh I’m not to sure for John. maybe acts or service or quality time for him?

Paul is very close behind with his relationship with Linda, but for John it always came off as a need for him, more then like a want or nice thing to have

So anyway, all this to say that as far as acts of service goes, I think he gets a lot of security out of receiving this!

Like, whenever John's feeling particularly stressed or overwhelmed having you there to approach the issues with an objective mindset is a HUGE relief

Really, like I cannot stress this enough

Phrases like, "What can I do to take some pressure off for you?"

Record Collection : the Beatles 1/?

Again, breaking these albums up to avoid a post that’s too long. Also the ? for number of parts since I think I might be getting a couple more for my birthday/xmas so that might be the last one when the time comes. But for now, here we are.

The Beatles Second Album. 1964.

I think this is the oldest record in my collection considering it is a copy from 1964. This album is some of their North American album bullshit since this does contain some tracks from With the Beatles but America got Meet the Beatles and the track listing is different and just gah...at least they stopped this shit with Sgt. Pepper and beyond.

Favorite tracks : You Really Got a Hold on Me, Devil in Her Heart, Money (That’s What I Want), I’ll Get You, She Loves You.

Hard Day’s Night Soundtrack. 1964.

This one I have a love/hate relationship with. I thought about buying the actual Hard Day’s Night album but since most of the songs are on this bad boy anyway, there isn’t really a point? Plus is still plays perfectly so....

Now, I’ve seen the movie many times and this soundtrack/album has a special place in childhood me’s heart.

Favorite tracks : A Hard Day’s Night, Tell Me Why, I Cry Instead, I Should Have Known Better, I’m Happy Just To Dance With You, And I Love Her, Can’t Buy Me Love, If I Fell (I actually have a tattoo for this song), Ringo’s Theme (This Boy instrumental).

Rubber Soul. 1965.

This album right here? Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely never been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it.....

It’s probably my favorite Beatles album. No, it is my favorite album. It fucking slaps. As a kid I remember wanting an old ass used copy of this and as an adult I still wanted one. Instead I bought a remaster since damn, that Capitol track listing out here with Help! tracks like, no. I want that unadulterated Rubber Soul experience. Plus the Capital version doesn’t have Drive My Car. That’s a fucking capitol offense right there.

Favorite tracks : Drive My Car, Norwegian Wood, YOU WONT SEE ME (that song is an absolute banger), Nowhere Man, Think For Yourself, the Word, What Goes On, Girl, I’m Looking Through You, In My Life, Wait.

Revolver. 1966.

Another album I enjoy greatly but ruined by Capitol since this is a copy from 1966 and it doesn’t have I’m Only Sleeping, Dr. Robert or Your Bird Can Sing.

When I was younger, I didn’t really care for Revolver. I was more of a Please Please Me and Beatles for Sale kind of bitch. Now? I love this album and I can see why it was my dad’s favorite. It has that Rubber Soul foundation and just built upon that and experimented even more (with music and drugs). The outcome is a fantastic listening experience.

Favorite tracks : Taxman, Eleanor Rigby, I’m Only Sleeping, Love You To, Yellow Submarine, She Said She Said, And Your Bird Can Sing, For No One, Doctor Robert, I Want to Tell You, Got to Get You Into My Life, Tomorrow Never Knows.

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. 1967.

If you asked teenage me what her favorite Beatles album was, it’d 100% be this one. Now? Maybe 3rd favorite. I do love this album tremendously and have many memories attached to it. Like how Rubber Soul is my comfort album, this is my drawing album.

Favorite tracks : a Little Help From my Friends, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Fixing a Hole, She’s Leaving Home, Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!, When I’m Sixty Four, Lovely Rita, a Day in the Life.

Magical Mystery Tour. 1967.

While a very questionable movie, the album slaps. Also it comes with a booklet with behind the scenes photos of the movie. One being a full page of John dressed like a waiter shoveling spaghetti for Ringo’s aunt character. If that isn’t quality, I don’t know what is.

Favorite tracks : Fool on the Hill, Flying, Blue Jay Way, Your Mother Should Know, I am the Walrus, Hello Goodbye, Strawberry Fields Forever, Penny Lane, Baby, You’re a Rich Man.

The Beatles/ White Album. 1968

This one was a bit hit and miss for me growing up. I think the first copy I’ve ever owned of this album was burned CD’s from my brother’s friend. I loved Bungalow Bill and Rocky Raccoon and Back in the USSR but as I grew older, I came to appreciate much more of it. My favorite thing about this album , besides the music, is the track listing at the very end. Fucking Revolution 9 followed up by Ringo gently singing you good night. Whoever made that decision, thank you. It’s hilarious like ‘oh I hope you enjoyed that absolute hellscape here’s a lullaby 😘’.

Favorite tracks : Dear Prudence, Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, the Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Happiness is a Warm Gun, Martha my Dear, I’m So Tired, Don’t Pass Me By, Julia, Yer Blues, Mother Nature’s Son, Everyboy’s Got Something to Hide Except for Me and My Monkey, Long, Long, Long, Helter Skelter, Sexy Sadie.

Abbey Road. 1969.

Another album I enjoyed as a child but only a handful of songs. According to my brother, Maxwell’s Silver Hammer and Octopus’ Garden were my fuckin’ jams. I remember really liking Mean Mr Mustard as well. As I got older/ in my teen years I grew to like this album a lot and it was tied with Sgt. Pepper as my favorite. Now? In my top 5 for sure.

Favorite tracks : Come Together (I will never be over fuckin toe jam football like...I have questions, comments and concerns), Something, Oh! darling, Octopus’ Garden, Because, You Never Give Me Your Money, Sun King, Mean Mr Mustard, Polythene Pam, She Came in Through the Bathroom Window, Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight (I always sing along to this one...it’s the law), the End, Her Majesty.

Let it Be. 1979.

I got my dad’s copy of this album after he died and to my slight surprise, it’s a copy from 1970 that’s in really good condition! Tbh, this isn’t my favorite of theirs. I never cared for this album as a kid. Even now, it’s not one I listen to often but I do enjoy it a lot more than I did previously. It also wasn’t until a few weeks ago when I watched the documentary of making this and while an interesting watch, it was wholesome seeing Mal and watching George and Ringo lift each other up when showing each other their songs and giving suggestions.

Favorite tracks: Two of Us, Across the Universe, I Me Mine, Maggie Mae, I’ve Got a Feeling, One after 909, the Long and Winding Road, Get Back.

That’s my main albums I suppose you could say. Next? Compilations albums!

finishin’ up fall 2019 anime

ahahaha it’s almost here. new year. new anime. 

let’s look at some of the best and worst from this season. well, everything i watched actually....

dr stone: if anything deserves 10/10 it’s this bitch. my inner chemistry slut has risen from the grave. this is my lifeblood. it is so good. nearing ep 17 i started reading the manga because i NEEDED more. and i haven’t read manga in like three years. i cried then at that bitchass byakuya, and dr stone’s last ep made me cry again. i’m talking more tears than the Niagara falls........ and then cried again when the second season was announced. like. if there wasn’t one i might have just gone up in flames then and there

bnha 4: i feel it’s a little more lacking then s2 or s3, maybe in action or smth but idek. i like the bit more insight and development the world is getting. also i love eri, and fat is hot (when he aint fat), also that over..load? guy is hella bae. also nighteye is actually rly cool and pls dont kill all might thats rude. also why the sudden interest in red riot like tbh i don’t rly care bout him. i want kirishima or todoroki or w/e bc they’re hot and redboy isn’t sorry. his powers suck anyhow

sao alicization 2: i think it started out better than the first season did. i needed these flashes into reality that helps show more realism, rather than just ‘ooh haha fantasy sword magic stuff’. which honestly took away from what should be a fairly severe situation. yknow. so far animation’s been steady, tho the new op is meh compared to the last ones. im not a huuge alice stan but the alice vs asuna vs the other girls is not fun, i mean it’s all asuna’s fault she could be like ‘ya i married him, dumb fucks back off’ and that’d be that but nooo it’s her fault. isn’t she dating kirito? and just letting these strange girls do this stuff to him? bruh

enen no shouboutai: very good. also 10/10. though not as 10 as dr stone. maybe more like 9/10. animation kinda decreased in quality a lil. understandably hah. warming up to the new op, i like the bit where shinra/arthur kinda fighting w each other their friendship is goals. i like all the powers. also shou is a baby boy

shinchou yuusha: the last ep twist got me fucked up. no spoilers tho. i loved all the characters, ristarte was awesome, her expressions killed me sometimes like same girl same. yuusha-san was a little bland but that might’ve been on purpose lmao now that i think of it (last minute thought: ristarte sounds oddly like... restart, don’t it? ;)))))

shokugeki no souma 4: another epic season kakakakaka. they always end on a cliffhanger and i’m like FUCk the episode’s over already when did that happen>???????>?>?> we STAN souma x erina guys. her father is an absolute DICK. and i am so glad she fuckin showed him. you go erina. get that character development. 

assassins’ pride: love me them character designs. and that op is to die for. i got the last ep to watch still. i’ve definitely warmed up to melida. and that navy-hair girl with the weird name is a goddess lmao we STAN a QUEEN. oh ya her name’s mule. dear author what made you choose that

choyoyu: i feel like a lot of the seven were glazed over, just kinda ‘oh aoi can chop stuff, merchant-san is .... a merchant that one time.... keine can heal people ..... and makes medecin worse than dr stone (btw i screamed at that like BRUH YOU FUCKIN COPIED OFF SENKU’S TEST WTF) tsukasa is way boring, akatsuki is meh and does not provide any explanation for how he pull off that magic shit without modern tech shit. ringo is cute and i want more of her actually showing why she’s smart and like... explaining it rather just ‘o she invents stuff yay’. shinobu needs to be the main-er character bc i love her god

hello new beatles fan here :) what exactly made you love each of the members individually? i would like to get to know them better!!

well if you're really looking to learn more about them I made a book reccomendation post right here. reading books about them is what helped me grasp what their personalities were/are like. reading an accurate source and making your opinion is the better way to go when learning a group.

 I don't exactly know what made me love each member tbh. I don't think there was anything that stuck out.  so I don't know what my first impression was :( I'll just have to tell you my impression of them now.

paul reminds me of the type of friend that you love but also secretly hates. he’s the friend that strives to be better than you and outdo anything that you do. has a foot fetish. probably vanilla anyways though. he’s a gemini so you’ll never know which paul you're talking to for the day. a hard worker who is also family oriented. smart, clever, and outgoing with shyness mixed in there. celebrity material. probably was a follower until John proved him that he was a leader. a good soul.

george is the kind of friend that has dirt on you and will make you feel like shit if you cross him. “is that a vegetarian jacket paul?” a loud mouth who didn't know really have limits. but also a loud mouth that was witty enough not to be known as a jackass. a good friend. just might sleep with your wife tho. also the underrated friend. he was very talented. sometimes I think he didn't believe in himself that much. a good soul.

ringo is the type of friend that everyone loves and wants as their number one friend. probably the kindest beatle imo. the exception is fan mail lol. a good drummer. yes, he is a good artist. he has a big heart. and cares for many people. is a cute grandpa who loves to tweet and take photos. is compassionate, brave, strong, and funny. a good soul. 

john is the type of friend that seems like an asshole on the outside, but after talking to them one-on-one you see that he is actually an alright person. everyone who’s gotten close to john says he’s misunderstood and actually nice. which may surprise some people but not me. insecure and sad. troubled. misunderstood. but also smart and willing. willing bc he acknowledged his shitty behaviors and worked on bettering himself. which is good. and proves he has a heart. Ringo & Otoya friendship & romantic~

Friendship

Constantly bugging Otoya about his crushes or significant others to fluster him. Like pointing out their outfits, cute or sexy. Sending pictures from fittings. Teasing Otoya about questionable situations he may find them in. Offering waaaay too much advice and supplies.

Probably the most variety in how they hang out compared to anyone else with Ringo. Since their interests don’t align too much but both are quite happy to go along with other people’s plans. So sometimes they’re running amok thanks to some game Otoya has started (or a prank from Ringo), and then other days they might be chilling in Ringo’s room getting his work done.

Always super protective of Otoya and looking out for him, much more so than other former students. He’ll do it from afar, as he doesn’t want it to look like he’s babying Otoya, but he’s always ready to step in if needed. Might discretely give advice to Otoya about problems, even if it hasn’t been brought up to him. May rough up people giving Otoya problems (or get Ryuuya to).

Romantic

It took Ringo a while to realize he was actually in love with Otoya. He knew he adored his former student just because Otoya was one of his better and more precious students, but thought it was nothing past platonic. He also knew he really wanted to fuck Otoya, because god damn the boy was adorable and the best person to fluster. At some point along the way with trying to make Otoya comfortable with a casual fling without ruining their friendship, it clicks just how much he would actually like to just date Otoya. 

Once they started dating, Ringo got 10 times worse about being sexual and flustering Otoya, partially because he held back before for Otoya’s sake. Not wanting to freak him out with all the dirty talk. Plus in most ships, it’s just when he’s in the mood or the opportunity is just too good to pass up, which is still a lot tbh. But with Otoya he takes every opportunity. The boy either is going to become corrupted or have a permanent tomato face.

As forward as he is, he gives Otoya frequent opportunities to take control or set the pace. Both in and out of the bedroom. He doesn’t want to completely dominate the relationship where it seems like Otoya is just his plaything. Ringo knows Otoya deserves comfort and turns to get what he wants. Plus, Ringo spoils Otoya for putting up with him. Pampering after sex. Treating him to sweets or meals. Anything he can do to reward Otoya for letting him mess around.

I was watching the show where Yoh says he’s a fan of Fabio this singer (I presume country) in Shaman King, and then I watched the Jap version with English subs of Shaman King Episode 30 and realized that the addition of Chrysler looking like Fabio was just an addition of dialogue that dubbed made. Lol stuff like that, like how they take advantage of the fact that Yoh is a music lover and create dialogue and their own headcanons of sort .

Because I can kind of believe Yoh would like tacky music or even boy bands. He’s just like that. He would enjoy pop and jumpy tunes I bet, though he’s probably more old school tbh. Like I think his dad likes John Lennon, and Soul Bob who I think is a version of Bob Marley, and Yoh is probably into that. I think Yoh would probably be into the Beatles and Bruce Springsteen and Elton John, maybe Bon Jovi and artists like that. Idk why but I feel like he’d be a rock-and-roll/alternative kind of guy.

 His love for Soul Bob probably shows that he’s into soul music so he’d probably be into R&B more and maybe some rap and hip hop, something kind of jumpy and has a tune, maybe???

Maybe he’s into 80s music as his dad since he found his father’s headphones when he was young, he probably listened to his dad’s old vinyl collection since Mikahisa was trying to be a musician when he was young...

I’m just going to think that Yoh likes all kinds of music, basically whatever catches him. Kind of like me, or probably most people. I don’t think people like just one genre, but they probably prefer one genre over the others. I can’t decide what kind of music Yoh would prefer the most though. In my mind, it’s soul and rock-and-roll. Oh maybe Jazz and classical music too? okay now I’m adding too much...

Jazz and classical music might be more of Mantas think though I could also see Manta being secretly into hard rock-and-roll ass well.

Ryu would definitely be into Rock-and-roll, he’s hard rock all the way.

Ren is into Chinese rock, probably metal. Idk...

Horo is so alternative music all the way, and probably he’s own hometown kind of music.

I think Lyserg would be into jazz, classical music and The Beatles. 

Choco is into Rap, Hip-Hop, and R&B. He’s into the thug life, well he used to be. Still is. We need more of him and his journey to being the greatest comedian who ever lived.

Anna is probably into screamo or something. Just kidding. Ringo’s style seems very dark like Evanescence or something idk... She’d be into some pretty dark music, probably some sad ballads like I saw someone say once...

I also have a headcanon that Yoh likes broadways musicals and old plays lol. This because his English voice actor Sebastian Arcelus started off in Broadway. I think he also sang the dubbed Shaman King theme song because it sounds very much his voice.  He’s also apparently distantly related to British royalty and was in a House of Cards and Madam Secretary, and is bilingual in Spanish and English. (holy shit I can believe Hao being bilingual but Yoh...uh maybe not, well aside from maybe Japanese and maybe English. He probably tries to learn languages once the Shaman Fight begins since he has a Chinese for Beginner's book which I think he still tries to learn to better connect with Ren..I could also see Yoh wanting to learn more about the Ainu, though I see Manta more being like that tbh... wow here I am creating more headcannons lol. )

I could also see Hao like plays too. Perhaps the old Koh plays they used to have, though idk if he would be more of a literature kind of person. I mean he did grow up in Heian Period which was Japan’s Golden Age of Literature so he probably has some talent in creating poems. Hao writing poems in his free time as a way of therapy wow. Hao’s taste in music probably is more towards traditional Japanese music and for some reason I have a headcannonthat he likes Indian music and culture... Idk why.

Anyway... this kind of went off the rails all due to the made up stuff dub created of Yoh liking an unpopular singer lol. Fabio. Is he country and boy band? idk

1. What was the first Beatles song you heard?

Unlike Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles were already deeply ingrained in the culture before I was born so I couldn’t pinpoint this. I think It might have been “She Loves You”

I have never purchased a Beatles album but my sister did own that 1 compilation album, which i listened to a lot in high school

Seeing as I was born after 1980, this would be impossible.

6. What do you think their next album will sound like? Which of their covers is your favourite?

Their “Twist and Shout” is iconic. I also really enjoy “Besame Mucho” or some reason and their “You Really Got A Hold On Me” jam in Let It Be. but i’m a George girl, so “Roll Over Beethoven” might be my favourite.

it’s been “Come Together” since i was in high school and even though i’ve recently made a point to listen to all of their albums, i still can’t say that i have a different answer

Rubber Soul is the real answer BUT Abbey Road is a much better cohesive album and i can’t think of a single song on that album that i don’t like... so it’s difficult.

I particularly love the “Don’t Let Me Down” performance on the rooftop gig—the one where Paul does his little shimmy. I don’t know why I just feel like they were all exactly in tune with each other and having the time of their lives and everything in their careers together was leading up to this one moment and I am emotional now.

so many. probably the one where Ringo says he doesn’t even smoke.. as he takes a puff from his cigarette. it’s the same one where John is asked what kind of girl he likes and he says his wife, then George is asked and he says “John’s wife.” that is probably altogether my favourite interview.

not nearly as religiously but “Start Me Up” is my fucking anthem and I support them

I actually do have a bit of a history with panic attacks, so I'm going to write these imagines kinda based on the sort of care ik I'd want to receive at least, so I hope these are like, realistic but not too angsty for anyone sksksk

But uh yeah, enjoy!

Oh and PSA that isn't mentioned in any of my imagines, but on this blog John has been getting the therapy he needs and deserves for a while now, so that's what's going on with all the references to stuff picked up from his "therapy/therapist" in this post and my others. Just wanted to clear that up✌🏻😌

George

Honestly, George is a very calm and trustworthy guy, so if you could, I think you'd do your best to seek him out while you know you're having a panic attack

And if you can't bc it's really bad, then you definitely would after it's over!

You slowly walk into the living room, your blanket wrapped around your shoulders

George turns to greet you, but his smile vanishes when he sees the red rims of your puffy eyes

You don't need to say a word, George is already up from his seat and coming over to protect you

The two of you communicate easily so George knows about your tendencies with panic attacks and by now he can spot when you've had one, just like he's doing now

"There now love, let's have a seat yeah?"

He guides you over to the couch and helps you sit

George rubs a little warmth into your arms, but decides another blanket would do better

Quickly he drapes the large, fluffy throw over you and promises to be right back

He disappears for a few moments while you situate yourself in the blankets

When he returns, he's brought a modest armful of your favorite snacks and a box of tissues, just in case

George sets everything down on the coffee table, except for a little tin of biscuits, which he takes with him as he joins you under the throw

He leans in and gives your cheek a kiss, "Kettle's on, we can have cocoa if you like"

You smile, and nod to let him know you heard

"Would you like to talk?"

"In a moment", you respond quietly

"Of course love"

George pulls you against his chest for a cuddle, then balances the tin between your laps

"Would you like one?"

You eye the variety to see if your favorite is left and then nod

By now you don't even have to request which one you want, George already knows

He picks it up and holds it out to you

Unfortunately, you're not quite feeling it yet, so you open your mouth wide instead

George picks up on the cue and holds the biscuit closer so you can take a bite, gently feeding it to you

The two of you take turns nibbling on snacks for a bit until the kettle comes to a boil

George goes off to fix hot chocolate for the two of you and returns with a pair of steaming mugs

When you're both settled, George gives you some space and let's you open up on what's troubling you

He hears you out and promises to do whatever he can to help you

And he's a man of his word, as you know

Afterwards, the two of you spend as long as you need relaxing on the couch, snacking and cuddling until you feel back up to speed

Of course, George wouldn't mind if you stayed here all day :)

John

I kinda feel like John would have like a sixth sense when it comes to anxiety tbh

Like when you're experiencing your panic attack, even if he's not there to necissarily see it happen, he just knows

You're in the middle of one now, when John peaks the door to your room open

"Everything alright love? You've been quite for some time-"

John finds you shaking and unresponsive, curled up in a blanket on the bed

As someone who struggles with anxiety himself, he knows exactly what's happening, so thankfully he doesn't panic like the other lads might

However, that doesn't mean it breaks his heart any less

John approaches calmly and sits besides you

You drag yourself up and apologize, a few tears streaming down your cheeks

But John just shushes you and holds you close

"We can talk when you're ready love"

You lean into him and do what you have to as you ride out the attack, while John holds you in a comfortingly tight embrace

When everything is over, John holds up on his promise and gives you the floor to talk about what's troubling you

He can be a great listener when he wants to, a trait he's exemplifying now as he holds you in his lap

Once you've said your peace, John would totally know how to validate your feelings and all that

"I'm so sorry love, I can't imagine how hard that must be for you. What can I do to help?"

For now, you feel best just being close to him

You lay down and John cuddles onto you a bit, just how you like, the warm weight of his body grounding you

He gives you some feather light kisses and keeps his voice calm and low

"This alright?"

You take a deep breath and nod, stroking his hair

It's times like this that John just feels flat useless

He knows what to say and some tricks to use from his therapy sessions for his own issues, but he wishes he could do more for you

Be charismatic and uplifting, like Paul would

Or warm and comforting like Ringo

Instead he's just a stoic lump

John looks up at you as a stray tear falls from your eye

He wishes so badly that he could take all your pain away

If he could, he'd bear the weight of the world, just to see you safe and happy

But for now, he hopes this old body of his is enough to help you feel warm, loved, and grounded

He shifts his weight a little so he can nuzzle your cheek

It's a bit too cold and damp for his sensitive nose, but he puts his personal discomfort aside

Well, there is one more trick he has up his sleeve that he hopes will help

John chooses one of your favorite songs of his and hums it to you quietly

The sound and vibrations combined with the warmth and pressure wraps you in a whole cocoon of John

You know that he wishes he was better with words, but honestly what he's doing now is what he usually does to steady you after an attack

And honestly?

It does far, far more for you then any sympathetic speech ever could

You give John's back a little rub and hold on tightly, hoping it can begin to express your gratitude

John smiles into your neck and hums just a bit louder, snuggling closer to you

Paul

I think Paul would be one who usually comes to find you after a panic attack

It's not that you don't feel comfortable with him, it's just... It feels rather embarassing to have breakdowns like that sometimes

Paul's always so confident and cool, you hate how your anxiety and panic attacks make you feel weak, especially compared to the likes of him

He finds you laid out on the couch, burritoed up in a blanket

He playfully asks what you're doing, but the look on your face is distant, as though your mind is a thousand miles away

Your eyes are rimmed red and you appear to have some shivers going on

Slowly, you turn your gaze to look at your boyfriend

Paul is frozen

He wants to help but he's not quite sure what's wrong. All he knows is he's desperately worried

"Paul..."

Your voice is hoarse and shallow as you call to him

Instantly, Paul snaps to action with no time to lose

He vaults the couch, careful not to land on you in the process and send beside you

"What is it? Tell me, tell me...", His voice is fairly calm, despite the begging in his tone

You get to the point, neither of you interested in beating around the bush, and tell him you just had a panic attack

You've told him about these before, but never at a point in time where he was able to care for you after you'd had it

Paul almost breathes a sigh of relief. Seeing you like this... He'd feared something much worse was wrong

Of course, this is still a very serious matter, but the catch is he's come prepared

Ever since you mentioned your history with anxiety and panic attacks, he's done some digging and research on what can be done to help

He's even consulted John on the matter!

There's plenty of things he can do, but Paul knows you respond best to his words

"Do you think you can sit up?"

You consider it a moment and then agree

Paul pulls you close to him, snuggling his face into the crook of your neck as he starts by speaking some words of encouragement and making sure you know how proud he is of you

The amount of affection he's laying on you takes you by surprise

You apologize for having him fuss over you, and your eyes start to water

Paul pulls back and looks at you as though he can't believe what he's heard, but his face softens when he sees you

"Oh no no no love, none of that now"

He wipes away your tears and asks if he's done something wrong

You shake your head, "No, I-I just wish I could be as put together as you, I guess"

At that one, Paul laughs

"I can't imagine why you'd want that. Matter of fact, I wish I was as strong and brave as you"

You look up at him questioningly, but Paul only nods

"it's true! I think you're incredible, living day to day like you do. You're a real fighter, you know that?"

He kisses your nose

"I don't want you to feel like you're not as 'brave' as I am because it's simply just not true!"

Paul smiles and brushes some hair from your face to reveal the little smile you've been hiding

Feeling a bit better at last, you open up your arms to invite Paul in for a cuddle

He readily accepts, and stays with you as long as you like

Ringo

I think the first time Ringo sees you after a panic attack, he'd be really worried about you!

You see, Ringo is just such an upbeat guy, no time ever really feels like a good time to tell him about your anxiety or panic attacks really

So when he witnesses it first hand, he's completely unprepared!

Ringo finds you laying face down on the bed, with your arms covering your head

He immediately freezes

His voice is dripping with fear as he cautiously calls your name

You barely stir, still riding out the end of a panic attack

Ringo is in a full panic now, and without another word he leaps onto the bed kneeling on all fours beside you

He wants so badly to touch you and make sure you're alright, but at the same time, he doesn't know what's wrong and he doesn't want to hurt you!

Instead, he places his palm on your back and gives you as gentle a shake as he can manage

"H-hey...?"

His voice is quivering and hardly more then a whisper

After a few moments it dawns on him that he can feel you shaking under his touch

Ringo sits up on his knees and whips around to find something to keep you warm

He stretches across the bed and yanks over a thin throw

By the time he's turned back to you, you've rolled over onto your back

You wipe your eyes and try to put on a brave face

"It's alright Ritchie, I'm fine..."

Ringo looks white as a sheet, his face stricken with worry

"No you're not!", he insists

He drapes the blanket over you, but decides that it isn't nearly warm enough and, like a giant cat, lays himself across your chest as well

"There now, are you warm enough? What can I do to make you better?"

You let your head fall back and close your eyes

Honestly you do feel a bit bad for him, but you simply don't have the energy to console him right now

Ringo gets off you for a moment and slides a pillow under your head before resuming his position

"How's that?"

You sigh, "Fine thank you. I'm just... getting over a panic attack love"

"Ooooh, I understand"

You lift your head up at that, and give him a confused look

"Yeah, John's had 'em back stage a couple times before a show now and then. He tells us about 'em sometimes and what to do and all"

Somehow you find that that does make sense, and so you lay back down, glad you don't have to explain yourself

"I-Is there anything you'd like me to do for you? John likes us to bring him some water usually... Would you like that?"

Ringo snuggles a little closer, looking down at you with big, puppy dog eyes

You smile a little. You're not use to receiving so much support after an attack like this

"Maybe later, right now I just need you. I-If that's alright..."

Ringo smiles and kisses your cheek before laying his head on the pillow beside you

"Yeah, I can do that..."

You hold onto him tight, grounding yourself and allowing the comfort to wash over you

Ringo stays with you until you've stopped shaking, runs off to put on the kettle, and then hurries back beside you to stay as long as you'll have him

So I think we all know that accurate stereotype about how bland and gross British food is right?

Well you can forget that with George!!!

If you've got any favorite, homemade soul food recipes, he'd love to learn them

Particularly because he'd like to give cooking some American cuisine a whirl!

Also, you will NEVER catch him complaining about food being "too spicy"

If anything, he'd probably be the one making spice and seasoning recommendations to dish lmao

You miiiiiight have to teach him the ropes on what make good dashes of flavor tho

Now I'm not going to get too dark here, but we all know how bad things were for poc in the early 1900s

Like, even worse then today

You might be kind of scared dating a white man as a black woman during this time period

But let me tell you right now, John would do anything to make you feel safe

I don't even mean just with him

Like just out in the everyday world, he isn't shy about letting people know he's with you!

John simply just doesn't see color, and he treats you like he'd treat any other woman (so, like a Queen lol)

And anyone who has a problem with it, especially if they try to start something with you....

Paul is in the same boat as John tbh

Instead of just ignoring the racial injustices and try to live as happy a life as you can manage...

...Paul is interested in going the extra mile and being outspoken on these issues

Especially as he sees how they affect you!

Now you might be thinking, that sounds more like John tbh, but at this point in his life (early 1960s ish) John has yet to find his voice on the political platform

But Paul on the other hand is already charismatic and outspoken!

You guys would have a ball going to rallies and protests together

And once the equal rights activism truly kicks off, ooooo it's go time baby!!

Paul would do everything he could to be your biggest ally, and you'd have nothing to fear in the way of retaliatory violence or slander from others

All in all, it'd be just the two of you, changing the world for the better ♥️

Ringo

Now Ringo is just a simple man

A simple man, who loves your gorgeous locs

He's really impressed with all the work you put into maintaining it!

...As well as the amount of product required to maintain it

Well he figures he's got all this money, might as well put it to good use!

He'd totally take you shopping for all your butters and oils, anything you want

And as a bonus, he can help you style it of you'd like!

Although he may not be as dexterous as his string playing friends, he can do some braids and twists with a bit of patience and guidance

And if you'd rather he not, he 100% would still love to keep you company while you do your thing

George

You’ve been dating George for a little now, but today is the first time you’ve really stimmed in front of him

The two of you are relaxing in his flat, watching some telly on the couch

Why does this have to happen now?

You feel nervous, and you’re trying to hide it

But you can’t help it!

You just keep itching then rubbing around your neck

However, you’re doing a better job at being subtle then you think

When George catches on, he thinks you’re just trying to ask for some affection!

So, George being George, he pulls you in for a snuggle

Of course that just excites you more though, and that’s when George gets a little confused

“Are you alright love?”

You figure you have to tell him eventually...

So you quietly explain your stims and all that to him

George feels a little bad for not knowing, or at least not asking first before exciting you like that!

He apologizes, but other then that he doesn’t make a big deal out of it

Just as long as you’re alright, that’s all that matters to him!

George asks if there’s anything he can do for you first though

If you’d like, you two can still cuddle and while you stim!

And if you’d like to rub or itch him a little instead, he’d be totally ok with that

In fact, if you can be gentle! he might even like it :)

John

Now John (or at the very least, my John), is really into mental health and understanding different illnesses and disabilities!

He’s very up front with his issues with anxiety and eating disorders, as well as the fact that he’s been getting the treatment he needs for them

So if, for any reason, you feel shy about being autistic and all that, being with John and hearing him be so open and accepting makes you feel comfortable enough to tell him everything up front

And of course, he totally understands!

He asks you for a little more information, if you can, like your triggers and stims so he knows how to be mindful and helpful to you

That takes you aback for sure

See, you’re actually quite self conscious about your stims...

So having someone be so chill about it is both surprising and comforting to you!

Still, you’re a little nervous to tell him, but John assures you that you have no need to be embarrassed, it’s just natural for you!

You’re starting to think you like this guy, lol

You do manage to tell him in the end, and John makes a mental note of all the information you share

Of course, he never stops trying to learn about autism and stims after this conversation though

You’re very important to him after all!

So any time you do have to stim, it’s totally normal between the two of you!

If you’d like, John can help you co-regulate yourself so you can calm down should you be feeling too overwhelmed 

But, if you’re fine, then no big deal!

Oh, and one more thing...

You can bet that John would be super protective of you if you need to stim in public!

Anyone rude enough that has something to say or even just a weird look, has to deal with John lol

Per your request, he won’t make a big scene or anything, but he for sure has, can, and will, tell certain people off if he has to

Paul

Personally, I feel like Paul would be the one to be the most like... cautious?? I guess, when addressing your stims

Like whichever your stims are, it’s not that he’s bothered or anything!

He’s just not sure what’s going on

It’s like, he doesn’t want to bother you incase if this is a sensitive topic for you

But at the same time, what if there’s something he could be doing to help you! More importantly, do you even need or want his help?

These are some very important questions to Paul, so he makes sure to breach the topic gently and respectfully

You feel kind nervous to tell him about your stims, maybe even a little embarrassed

But, you explain that you’re just stimming and it’s a part of your autism

And Paul feels relived to hear it!

Well, first he wants to make sure that it’s not like a problem for you and if you want him to do something when you stim

You tell him that sometimes it’s a bother, but generally you can handle it yourself unless you specify otherwise

Then he feels relieved!

As a perfectionist, I could see Paul also making it his mission to try and learn more about autism and stims

He just wants to understand you better so he can be helpful and informed on whatever you may need

From then on, honestly things don’t change too much

You still have your stims and Paul acts totally normal when they happen

Except now, you don’t feel as much a need to hide them!

And Paul feels a little more at ease knowing you’re ok and, more importantly, that you trust him to help you if you want it!

All you have to do is ask <3

Honestly, I think Ringo would be in the same boat as George

Like he’s kind of ignorant on the subject of stims, but it’s like an innocent ignorance if that makes sense ???

I guess what I’m trying to say is he doesn’t think your stims are weird or that you’re weird or whatever, he just thinks you simply have your own way of expressing certain feelings!

Which I mean, you do, lol

He just doesn’t know that you’re actually just stimming!

Like, if you’re the type to be all energetic, like flapping, bouncing, or just jumping around, then Ringo assumes you’re just having some fun!

I mean... Anyone who’s seen A Hard Day’s Night, or even just some clips of him performing lol, knows what Ringo’s idea of dancing/having fun is

If anything, I feel like he’d just join in and jump around with you rather then, idk, assume something else is going on

Now if you’re stimming bc you’re in a good mood, you guys could just jam out for a while until you get it all out!

But, if that’s not the case, I’m sure you’d  be like, uuuuuhm ????

To which, once you explain, Ringo would feel really bad!!

He genuinely thought you were just enjoying yourself, he doesn’t want you to feel like he was mocking you or something!

You might have to reassure him that you're not offended tbh, after all, that was far from his intentions

Moving on tho, he'd definitely like to know more about your stims!

He doesn't think it's strange really, he just wants to know how he can better interact with you while you're stimming

Like, would you like to be left alone? Do you want him to be with you while you stim?

Or if you just really don't care, he's more then happy to jam out with you!

After all, if stimming makes you feel shy or embarrassed, Ringo wants to make it feel as normalized as possible for you!

Although, from now on he's sure to try and get a little more educated about your stims :)
