George Floyd was murdered by police. Just like Eric Garner, Tamir Rice, Sandra Bland, and far too many others.

White supremacists storm state capitals armed with AR-15 assault rifles and are unharmed. Unarmed people protesting murder by police get tear-gassed and shot with rubber bullets.

Systemic racism is the disease of this country. It must be eradicated. From the white supremacists in the White House to the terrorist vigilantes who hunted down Ahmaud Arbery to the Central Park (Liberal, Buttigieg supporter) woman in New York, calling police on a man who merely asked her to leash her dog.

Dear White People,

you don’t get to pretend to be oppressed

you don’t get to pretend to be the victims

you don’t get to complain about the inconvenience of being white

you don’t get to be selectively racist or selectively allies when it’s convenient for you

you don’t get to say that “racism is a thing of the past” or “why are people making this a race issue?”

you don’t get to say you’re not racist especially if all you do is stay silent on race issues, or reply with #alllivesmatter, or say it’s not your damn battle, or that you’re “different” and “not all white people”

We have suffered under white supremacy for generations

We have suffered centuries of cultural erasure, genocide, injustice and oppression

We have suffered through having our voices go unheard, our pain and anger suppressed, our spirits crushed by countless false promises of freedom and equality.

So if you want to insist that you are “different”, prove it.

Use your privilege. Speak for us. Fight with us. Help us get our voices and our stories heard. This world needs to change. And if you no longer want to be seen as the root of racism and supremacy, you need to change it with us.

Y'all with me or y'all scared??? Cause I'm not talking about marching nor yelling through megaphones. Change begins within. That means the plans have to change. The formula must change. The method must change. Because EVERYTHING that has been done in the past didn't work. Time has passed. It didn't work. The era has changed, but the fight is the same. That means that we are more knowledgeable about the battle. The tactics can be reprogrammed to fit the narrative along with the weapons that we now possess.

Busting windows out of insured businesses isn't bringing attention to injustice. It's creating avenues for the rich to continue to sit home and profit without work while more blacks are being hurt and becoming casualties in a one sided war.

We are becoming mascots and cheerleaders for our own deaths while continuously listening to degrading music penned by the brothers and sisters who should be supporting and rebuilding their own communities.

Each day, a black community is being infiltrated by whites and they are giving you free paint and brushes to garnish former trap houses and plant gardens while they move their 501c organizations into your grandmother's old home and build their grandeur mansions into the vacant lots. These are properties that you'll never be able to afford.

Your 'hood' is no longer a safehaven for you because your son, sister, Aunt, husband, nephew, daughter, Uncle, and wife now look suspicious when walking because the predator is now pretending to be afraid so that they can have you legally ejected from your habitats.

Neighbors are killing us out of fabricated fear while law enforcement officers are killing us out of fabricated protection.

Think about that!!!

Change the dynamics!!!

my people should be free to live

black people should survive

and not just survive but live

we should be free to live lives where we are not afraid of the people who control the laws that are there to "protect us"

we should be free to live lives where we can be loud, go to a store, stay in our very own homes, without fearing for our existence

we should be free to live in a world where when you see injustice you report it, where others shout and scream till our oppressors are defeated

we should be free to live just as our white counterparts do so easily, without being judged by the amount of melanin in our skin, by the way our hair curls, the form of our bodies or by the way we speak

we need to be free to live our lives

if you have a platform use it

tell your family

tell your neighbours

tell your friends

and then tell them some more

shout and scream over and over again until my people are free to live

shout their names till your voice is sore because this world needs change before humanity is no longer humane

black lives matter and we cannot rest until they truly do

and while we're at it fuck cops man
