The famous 1960 Tile House is for sale again in Twentynine Palms, California. 2bds, 1ba, $729K.
The colors and the work put into this house are amazing. I think that it probably comes furnished, although it doesn't specify .
Look at the walls. I can't even begin to imagine the time it took to collect all this tile and broken stuff, then put it up on the walls.
The house gives a nod to spirituality and includes this large shrine.
The kitchen is so cheery.
And, there's another den-style room that's pretty spacious.
It's been an Airbnb, but if I bought it, it would be a residence.
The primary bedroom has a funky fireplace.
And, it's a much larger size, too.
There's only 1 bath, but it's delightful.
There's assemblage art around the property.
A nice hot tub.
Looks like there's a vintage bath tub out back, here, too.
The property looks kind of junky from the outside. There's a lot of debris lying around.
The house has a private water well, so maybe that's the holding tank?
The rest of the power comes from solar panels.
Geez, it looks like living on another planet. Why are the homes set so far back from the road? The land measures 15.06 acres.

Beau Travail is such a beautiful film. So ethereal and dream-like. Touches on themes such as masculinity, the human condition, desire and repression. Denis Lavant stars as Galoup, reminiscing about his days in the French Foreign Legion, his admiration for his commanding officer, and an ensuing, bitter rivalry with a recently arrived private. His performance evokes this uncanny feeling to it that only memories are able to achieve. Undoubtedly my favorite film from Claire Denis. That ending will stay with you for a long time. A true masterpiece and a trascendent achievement of cinema.
