Peter parker x Male!reader - everything
Tumblr media
heyo! same anon who requested the perter parker x m!reader whos the embodiment of sunshine and was wondering if you could do a part 2 almost? more of the other avengers meeting sunshine reader if that's ok! maybe when reader tries to pick up thors hammer (you decide or not of he can 😋) they enter the tower/come out of the elevator to see the reader struggling to pick up thors hammer/picking up thors hammer? - Anon 💜
Part two:
You stared at the hammer on the floor and looked up at your boyfriend with a curious look on your face as you pointed to it.
“Point break, he leaves it everywhere.” Tony shrugged.
You looked even more confused than before and titled your head a little at Peter as you silently asked for an explanation.
“Thor’s hammer, no one can move it but him.” Peter said.
“Can you lift it?” You asked.
“I haven’t tried, but I’ve heard the others have.”
You hummed and nodded your head, getting up into a crouching position as you poked the hammer.
You wanted to give it a shot, so you placed your hands on the handles and tried to move it.
It felt impossibly heavy, as if it were weighed down by a thousand rocks.
“He isn’t really going to..?” Tony muttered.
“(Y/N) don’t..” Peter whispered.
“(Y/N) do.” You grinned.
You started wobbling the hammer even more, trying to gauge if it had some weak spot but it still didn’t budge.
You started to carefully inspect the hammer while Peter just took a few steps back to get out your way.
While you were doing that the elevator doors opened and the rest of the avengers all stepped out, looking at you intrigued.
“New contender?” Clint chuckled.
“His boyfriend.” Tony smirked, pointing at Peter.
Everyone immediately rushed over, circling around you.
“We’ve all given it a shot, don’t think you’ll have much luck.” Natasha said.
“Eh, still fun trying.” You shrugged.
You didn’t even register that it was in fact the avengers that you were talking to. The earths mightiest heroes and you were stood there trying to pick up this magical hammer.
Getting a good foothold, you placed your hands on the handles and took a deep breath.
You tried to lift it, and it shifted just a tiny bit.
“No way…” Bruce whispered.
“Impossible…” Thor muttered.
You set it down and wiped your hands on your hoodie, placing your hands in the handles again.
Again you tried to lift it, and it shifted but you couldn’t quite pick it up.
“Pete, grab the handle.” You grinned.
“No.. not not a chance.” He said.
“Come on!“ Tony laughed.
“Give it a shot kid.” Steve smiled.
Peter looked around at everyone cheering him in and he sighed and placed his hands just above yours.
The pair of you shared a look and a nod, and you both started to lift, and the hammer just barely off the floor, but it still moved.
“They did it!” Clint cheered.
Everyone cheered and clapped while Thor, you and Peter all stood there in amazement.
Thor didn’t think that anyone else was able to lift the hammer, but the fact that you and Peter together both could lift it was something else.
You could lift it barely in your own, and maybe Peter was the same, but together you guys were pure enough to lift it.
You both had hearts of gold, and that alone was enough reason for the hammer to decide you were both worthy of bringing it from the ground.
Thor smiled and clasped a hand on your shoulder.
“I am impressed, but in order to rule Asgard you must be able to lift it alone.”
You nodded your head in Understanding and glanced at Peter, smiling softly.
“I don’t want to rule some planet, I’m happy here with Peter, I don’t need a planet or a crown or some hammer.”
You let it go and laced your fingers with Peter’s a huge smile on both your faces as you looked at one another.
Yeah, a planet would be cool.
But knowing you had Peter by your side, and him knowing he had you, it was all the pair of you needed

hi can I request a fic where Nat works as a teacher and catchs a bad cold/flu which is going round. Nat tries to teach as usual but her constant sniffling and sneezing is too much, then R gets a call from the Nurses office asking for her to come and pick Nat up. maybe using the prompts “Do you actually think I’ve had time to go out and get a flu-shot?”  “It’s chaos here. I can’t just stop working because I have the sniffles.” and “Baby, I think this is more than just the sniffles.”
Nurse’s Office
〚 Notes – This was such a cute request that I had to do it literally as soon as possible. My brain was just full of ideas for this. I’ve gotten so many reqs too, I'm genuinely almost at 40 so I may have to close my inbox soon just so I don’t get overwhelmed with them all! Slightly desperate to feedback on this too! I think it’s the longest fic I’ve done :) 〛
〚 Summary - Nat loves her job as a teacher, she gives it her all but it seems she has a lesson to learn when it comes to taking care of herself. 〛

Nat was sure she felt fine earlier that morning but as she sat hunched over her desk, she couldn’t help but squint as the overhead light shone down directly into her eyes. Looking over her lesson plan for the day, she sighed. First period was the youngest class of students that she taught and it was safe to say they were a handful. Glancing over to the main clock on the wall, Natasha realised she didn’t have long before her students were due to arrive. At least she didn’t have a lot to set out, she’d stayed late the previous night to photocopy some worksheets and papers.
Walking round the room, Nat made sure every student had the correct worksheet on their desk, she was just placing the final paper down when she felt a sudden prickle in her sinuses. Twitching her nose only amplified the annoying itch and Nat knew she was going to-
“Hi’kkshiew!”
Natasha buried her face into her elbow as she sneezed, sniffling slightly afterwards. As she sniffled Nat felt the familiar feeling of congestion begin to settle in her sinuses and quickly came back to her desk to grab a tissue. The sound of a loud bell rung as Nat swiped a few from the box and she’d just finished blowing her nose when students began to fill the room.
She took a moment to gaze around the classroom and was greeted by twenty-seven rowdy children. It wasn't the first time she'd felt anxious, when standing infront of class. Nat wouldn’t call herself an experienced teacher just yet, she’d been working at this school since graduating almost 4 years ago but even so, she still had her moments of doubt.
She opened her mouth to say a cheery ‘good morning’ only the words got caught in her throat, leading her to cough to a little. She thought nothing of it though, simply clearing her throat a few times before continuing her greeting, trying hard to ignore the growing pain at the back of her throat.
“...so today we’ll be looking at genetics. Does anyone know what DNA is?” She looked around among the raised hands before calling on a student, “yes?”
The student gave a pretty good answer and Nat nodded in agreement.
“Ah, well done, that’s correct. The only thing  I need to add is that DNA is made up – Hh- of a double hel-Hh'tshiew! Oh, excuse me!” Nat had to fight to stop herself from blushing red with embarrassment as she sneezed down against her wrist.
Natasha rubs her eyes and her sinuses in unison, wiping at the wetness that trails from her nose. A sudden pain throbs deep within her throat, behind her sternum. And hacking, wheezing cough sent left her leaning against her desk as she tried to compose herself.
The students chuckle to themselves as they shift in their seats. One boy turns to whisper something to his friend, and they both giggle at Natasha. The boy behind him—the one who had answered the question—looks her in the eye and laughs. Natasha's skin stings, but she refuses to let it bother her. "What?" she asks. "What is so funny?"
She sends them a glare, instantly silencing them before continuing on with her lesson,
Only throughout the hour, that pain at the back of her throat only grows worse and she’s beginning to sniffle repetitively. The room feels heavier—hotter—and her vision is dimming slightly.
But still Nat pushes through, and by the time the bell rings to dismiss the class, she’s exhausted. Her voice is failing fast and her throat is quickly being shredded with her increasing sneezes. In the small 5-minute window between lessons Nat had already gone through 8 tissues and that number only increased from there.
Second period soon came. The school bell chimed again and soon enough, her second class of the day came flooding in, their loud chatter striking a painful throb through her temples.
Natasha didn’t even bother to try and talk instead; she scrolled through her computer’s files to find a relevant video to play on the projector. The video barely got 5 minutes into in before Nat had to quickly scramble to grab a tissue before sneezing loudly.
"Bless you!" a boy piped up in response, he's wearing a bright orange sweatshirt. His legs swinging back and forth under the desk. "Are you okay Mrs Romanoff? Do you have that bug that’s going round?”
Natasha coughs into her elbow, the sound making several students visibly recoil, “I'm fine thank you.” She tries to muster up her best reassuring smile but it seems nobody is convinced.
The students exchange uneasy glances amongst themselves as their teacher held her head in her hands. Nat grimaced, she could feel her skin breaking out into a sweat beneath her blouse and her vision is beginning to fade in and out as the room grows hotter and hotter. Even the noise from the ongoing video seems somewhat distorted as she tries desperately to not disturb anyone any further but the urge to sleep was almost overbearing and Nat could feel her eyes slowly drifting closed…
“Mrs Romanoff?” A recognisable voice pulled Natasha from her slumber as she blinked groggily giving a little groan at the pressure which had settled behind her eyes. She tried to sniffle but was met with a snuffly noise of congestion, “Mrs Romanoff?”
Nat blinked up, as she tried to shield her eyes from the lights overhead, had they somehow gotten even brighter? Looking up Nat saw the worried face of her colleague, Miss Leslie. Miss Leslie was older than Nat but they’d both been hired around the same time and the two of them had developed a fairly close relationship – it helped that they both shared an office space too - so it wasn’t unusual for either of them to quickly stop by in each other's classes but this time was different.
The loud background chatter of Nat’s students was almost too much for her to handle, “Quiet!” Natasha tried to sound authoritative but her voice came out in a weary rasp, barely audible to anyone other than her close by colleague.
“Natasha?” Miss Leslie spoke in a hushed voice, “One of your students just came into my class and said that I had to come back with him immediately. Natasha, I’m not surprised he did. You look awful honey. Are you feeling okay?”
“I’m fine.” Nat mumbled, “Just a little tired. I just need to get through the rest of this lesson then I’ll drink some coffee or something.” She sniffled, feeling her nose begin to run again.
Miss Leslie’s concerned eyes looked over Nat again then to her students, “Forget coffee, you sound like you need to be in bed. You caught whatever gross bug thats  been sweeping its way round this place?”
“I’m fine, absolutely per-Hh- Hhet’tshoo! Hush’tshoo!”
“No Natasha, you’re not. Seriously, go back to our office, I’m taking over for you.” Miss Leslie’s voice was firm in her words as she urged the redhead to stand, not missing the way she swayed in place, “Go sit down, I’ll be there soon.”
Miss Leslie’s hand came to grip Natasha’s shoulder as she helped her up out of the seat, her careful eyes watching over the redhead as she wordlessly shuffled out of the room and towards her office.
Nat wasn’t even sure how much time had passed when the door to her office swung open, letting in a cold breeze with it. She didn’t bother to look over, she didn’t bother to look anywhere, hell, even just opening her eyes hurt. Everything was a blur.
There was a voice somewhere in the room though she couldn’t quite make out any words. Everything felt muffled. Nat barely even registered the fact that her colleague had come to squat down beside her until she felt the touch of a hand clasp her forehead lightly.
“Oh honey, this isn’t good.” The concerned voice of Miss Leslie sighed, only then did Nat find the strength to look up at the worried face of her colleague, “You’re way too hot.”
“Leslie? What are you doing?” Nat mumbled as she forced herself to sit upright, the room spinning as she did so, “What about the class?”
“They're on break. Its 11pm, didn’t you hear the bell?”
Nat shrugged, no, she definitely did not hear any bell. She was about to get up when she felt that familiar prickle in her sinuses forcing her to quickly swivel around in her chair to avoid sneezing all over her colleague.
“Hh’iishoo! hHeh’ktshhiiew!”
“Bless you.” The older woman replied as she squeezed the redhead’s shoulder, “You aren’t seriously thinking about going back to class still?” She asked in shock as the younger teacher went to pick up her files.
“I have too, I have my upper-years next and we’re already behind schedule, theres so-“ Nat broke off from her teary rambles with a loud barking cough, it felt as if her chest was constricting with every breath.
“Natasha you can’t go on like this, we’ve both seen how many bugs and germs are spreading round this place. Hell, we’re basically working in a petri-dish and I know we’re meant to push through when we’re not feeling too well for the sake of the kids but Nat, you really shouldn’t be here.”  The older woman sighed deeply as she lectured the younger teacher.
“I- I just feel like everything’s going wrong today.” The redhead finally admitted as she wiped at her teary eyes, “I felt fine this morning and now-“ She sniffled thickly, unable to breathe properly through her stuffy nose.
“I know, I know.” The older woman sympathised as the younger teacher went to grab some tissues from the box on her desk, “Maybe we should let the nurse take a look at you.”
Nat sent her a look, “I don’t really think that’s necessary. It’ll just waste her time.”  She sighed wearily as she rubbed at her temples again. That congestion really wasn’t helping her headache at all.
“Honey, I mean no offence by this at all but you’re a mess. I’ve never seen you like this and quite frankly it’s a little worrying, so please? Let me put my mind at rest, go and see the nurse Natasha.”
Natasha took another tissue as another set of raspy coughs choked up through her throat. God I really am a mess. Nat admitted to herself. Her throat feels like a lump of coal and she swore she could almost feel the fluid in her sinuses sloshing about like stagnant sludge. Just to avoid her co-worker's concerned stare, she reached to the desk beside her and grabs a pen, feebly scribbling onto a sticky note.
To Substitute,
Textbooks are in the back cupboard. Get the upper-years to read page 18 and answer the questions using correct exam technique. Put an educational film on for the younger ones. Email me if needed.
- Mrs Romanoff
Miss Leslie gave Nat a nod as she read over the sticky note which had been pressed into her hand – though she did discreetly scribble out the final sentence when Nat’s back was turned, “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure everything goes smoothly. Now come on, let me give you a hand getting to the nurse's office. I doubt you’ll make it on your own...”
"Thanks..." Nat mutters as Leslie props her up, helping her hobble down the hallway. She grips onto the older lady's arm, feeling as though she'd collapse any second. Her lungs burn and her brain is hazy. She tries to focus, to listen to what Leslie's saying... but everything feels so far away. It's as though it's happening through the lenses of a camera. Every time she blinks, the hallway spins a little faster. Her legs are like lead weights, her arms limp noodles, and she doesn't stop shivering. All around her are the confused stares of students, not used to seeing their usually so resilient teacher being helped down the hallway but Nat doesn’t notice, she hears only a dull, thudding heartbeat as her skin tingles with fever.
〘✧〙
You day had been pretty boring. You’d finished all your work so you had just been sitting at your desk, scribbling away on Microsoft Paint on the computer infront of you, you were halfway through drawing a little picture of a flower when the screen of your phone lit up as it began to vibrate from across the table. Snatching your attention, you picked up the device and looked at the number displayed on the incoming call, unknown. Strange. You tried to think back to see if you could remember anyone that had been meaning to call you recently but you came up with nothing so with a shrug, you pressed on the little green button and accepted the call.
“Hello? Is this Y/N speaking?” A friendly voice came through the phone, an older woman by the sound of it.
“Hi, yes, it is. Can I help you?” You replied, trying to see if you could recognise the voice.
“This is the nurse speaking, from Natasha’s school. Natasha’s actually here with me right now, she’s not feeling very well at all. Is it possible for you to come and collect her?”
“Nat’s sick?” Your mouth dropped open in surprise, she had seemed fine that morning, “okay, I’ll be there as soon as possible.”
The call ended and you quickly gathered up your things before rushing over to your boss's office to explain the situation. He didn’t have an issue with you leaving, especially since you’d already gotten the day's work done, infact he even told you to take the rest of the day off – he knew you’d only be worried sick if you came back. You said a very grateful thankyou before jogging out of your office towards the company car park, quickly starting the ignition and driving off in the direction of Nat’s school.
You made sure to park close to the entrance as you entered the school grounds. With a swift click of your keys, you locked your car and headed towards the entrance. The school Nat taught at was nice, that’s one of the reasons Nat loved teaching so much, the campus was great. Entering the reception, a young-looking brunette smiled at you over from the desk, her nametag reading ‘Miss Sharp’.
“Hi, I got a call from the nurse to come pick up Mrs Romanoff.” You explained politely and a knowing look flashed across the receptionist's face.
“Oh, you’re Natasha’s wife! It’s lovely to meet you finally, I’ve heard great things about you,” The receptionist smiled as you blushed slightly, “Why on earth she decided to come in today is a mystery to me, I'm not surprised that you’re here to take her home. Anyway, the nurse's office is just through the main doors, take a right and then keep going down the hall. It’s a white door, you can't miss it.”
You flashed her a grateful smile, “Thank you so much.”
“No problem!”
The sound of the school bell rang as you approached the white door at the end of the corridor, getting closer you could see the distinct label of ‘Nurse’s Office’ displayed beside the door. You knocked on the door lightly and waited until you heard a faint voice call “Come in.”
Opening the door, you were greeted by a kind, elderly face. Her nametag simply read, ‘Cindy’.
“Mrs Romanoff’s wife? Y/N? Is that correct?” She asked.
“Yes, that’s right.,” You replied with a nod, but the rough sound of pained coughing came from round the corner just beyond your sight, and you hoped to God that Nat wasn’t the one making it, ”You called me about Nat?”
Cindy seemed to pick up on the worried tone slipping into your voice as you spoke, “I did. She’s been adamant on working, but I’ve kept her here for the last hour or so,” The next sound you recognised, you winced at the sound of Nat’s desperate sneezes which echoed through the office, “Poor dear... She’s been like that the whole time; I hate to think that she’s been teaching in that condition. She’s just through here.”
As Cindy rounded the corner and motioned for you to follow, you felt your shoulders drop upon recognising Nat. Her back was resting against the wall as she sat on a bed.  The light pink blouse that she had left in earlier that morning was sitting at the end of the bed, only now the blouse was noticeably damp in certain areas and she was now dressed in a loose-fitting black t-shirt with the school's emblem embellished on the front.
“Natasha!” You gasped, quickly scurrying to her side as you reached up to cup her feverish cheek,  "Baby, you're completely burning up." You whispered as you looked over her flushed face and wet neck.  The warmth of her skin spread to your fingers as you reached up to place your palm against her forehead, prompting you to bite your lip nervously.
“She hasn’t let me take her temperature yet,” Cindy sighed, shaking her head in disapproval, “I was hoping you’d convince her otherwise.”
“Nat...” You frowned as you crossed your arms, you voice taking on a serious tone. You took a firm grip on Natasha's cheek, so she’d look you in the eye and her head tilts to the side in a gesture of mild defiance. The tip of your thumb traces her cheekbone. "Nat, you're so warm, we need to know what your temp is so we can help you feel better. Please?”
“Fine.” Natasha’s voice comes out in a throaty rasp, it’s the first time you’ve heard her speak and you definitely didn’t like how she sounded at all. If she had sounded anything like how she currently did earlier that morning, you would’ve practically forced bed rest upon her... Speaking of though, why hadn’t Nat seemed ill this morning?
Cindy nodded appreciatively towards you as she went to retrieve the thermometer from her desk. It was the old type of one and she instructed Natasha to place it beneath her tongue as you asked the burning question, “How long have you felt sick for ‘Tasha, tell me the truth.”
Nat thought for a moment, in all honestly, it had all her hit at once. She had felt a little sluggish this morning sure, but it was nothing compared to how she felt now. When Nat went to voice this, she interrupted by the frantic itching of her nose. Despite trying to hold back the tickle, she only had seconds to quickly snatch the device out from her mouth before sneezing down into her cupped hands.
“Hah’hishoo! Hhih-tschiew! Hh-Hi'TshhIEW”
“Goodness, bless you honey.”
You expected Nat to put the thermometer back in her mouth, but she kept her hands cupped over her mouth; her eyes slightly wider than earlier as she looked towards you then down to the tissue box over on the table beside the bed. You knew instantly what she wanted, and she sent you a pitiful look as you handed her a tissue. You waited until she’d finished to pick up the nearby trashcan and you held it up so that she could throw her soggy tissue away.
“So, how long has it been?” You repeated once Nat had settled back down.
She shrugged a little, “I was a little tired this morning before I left, but it mainly hit after I got in, it all seemed to come at once.”
You looked over to Cindy to see if this was even possible and she was giving an understanding nod, “That’s how the flu tends to come on I’m afraid. It usually hits pretty hard and fast. Can you finish taking your temperature for me though poppet?” The nurse kindly urged, picking up the thermometer and holding it to her mouth. Nat saw no point in arguing. It’d only end with you getting annoyed with her so reluctantly she opened and held the device beneath her tongue.
"38.9," Cindy comments after a moment, turning the thermometer upside down to observe the final reading, "Oh, bless. You should’ve stayed home today dear."
The way her head slumps forward in her exhaustion is heart breaking. She looks utterly miserable as she weakly excuses, “It’s chaos here. I can’t just stop working because I have the sniffles. There's already so many students off sick so I’m having to set all the catch-up work and then th-Hh-theres the overdue –Hih- inspectio-HH-Heh’iishioo! H-Heh..Heh’kshuu!”
“Poor thing bless you, but I’m sorry baby, I think this is more than just the sniffles.” You pouted sympathetically as you sat down beside her, and in response Nat let her tired head come to rest against you, “you’re working yourself way too hard.”
“Sniffles? Deary me, I’ve seen so many cases of flu this week Mrs Romanoff, and you’ve got one of the worst I’ve seen by far. Like I said, the flu usually comes on pretty fast, it fits your symptoms.” Cindy sighed as Nat began to cough roughly, her lungs making an awful chesty sound and you could practically hear how the congestion in her chest shifted, “I see your flu shot did nothing to help though.”
“About that... I haven’t got one yet” Nat admitted with a wet sniffle as she brought her hand to her temple, trying to get some relief from the throbbing in her head.
"Nat." You whispered, disappointment and pity seeping into your words as you nudged her gently with your elbow. She shifts as she sniffles against your shoulder, staring up at you with a hint of blearily defiance. You tilt her chin up, and she's looking back at you with a mix of exhaustion and guilt. "We've been over this. I told you to go and get one weeks ago. It’s important.”
Both you and Cindy sighed as Nat sneezed again, “Do you actually think I’ve had time to go out and get a flu-shot? She only paused to accept the tissues that you’d reached forward and grabbed for her, “I’ve just been so busy lately, I guess I forgot about it.”
"You didn't forget. You just prioritized other things." Cindy spoke up, her friendly tone being replaced by a stern motherly edge as she chided your wife.
It seemed Nat hadn’t heard that tone being used by her before, you noticed that her lip trembled a little at the voice and how her eyes drifted towards the floor at the sharp reminder that she could have protected herself against the virus. She shifts and rests her arms at her front, folding them as she mutters a quiet, “I'm sorry."
The way your heart squeezed at seeing her pout was indescribable, and the sight of her slightly-teary gave you no choice other than to wrap your arms around her shoulders and pull her in for a tight hug, your fingers combing through the softness of her hair as you whispered, "It's okay, moya lyubov, It's okay."
“You should make sure she gets lots of rest and fluids, keep her hydrated.” Cindy instructed as she came to give your shoulder a much-needed comforting squeeze, you weren't exactly doing the greatest job of hiding your worry, “She’ll be okay dear, Mrs Romanoff just needs to learn when to give in and let herself rest instead of running herself ragged.”
“It won't happened again...” The redhead mumbled apologetically as you helped her stand with a supporting hand before giving in to your urge to pick up your feverish wife, supporting her carefully in your strong arms.
“I’ve got you baby,” You whispered, kissing her forehead when she leant it against your shoulder, hiding her face in the crook of your neck, “Thank you so much for calling me, I really appreciate you looking after her.” You gave a genuine smile to the elderly nurse as she went to hold the door open for you.
“It’s not a problem at all. It’s my job to take care of people, be they students or stubborn teachers.” Cindy smiled as you said your final thankyous and goodbyes.
You said another goodbye to the kind lady in the reception as she buzzed the door to let you out but not before letting her know that Nat wouldn’t be in work for the next week or so. It was a good job you’d decided to park close to the door, it meant you were quickly able to get Nat out of the windy weather and into the warmth of your car. Setting her door in the passenger seat, you reached across to buckle in her seat belt, placing another gentle kiss to her forehead, your touch bringing a sense of comfort to the fevered woman. Natasha had to turn her head away from you as she sneezed down into the collar of the fabric of the cotton t-shirt and you regretted not thinking to bring any tissues with you.
“Bless you my love. You’ll be okay, I promise. We’ll get you home in no time, okay?” Your tone was soft as you closed the passenger door and came round to the driver's side. Sitting down in your seat, you made sure Nat was comfortable before starting the car and pulling out of the parking lot. You both wanted to get home as soon as possible.
“Thank you for coming to get me.” Nat mumbled tiredly as she let her head come to rest on the window, the coolness of the glass providing some comfort against the heat blazing through her.
“Don’t worry about it my love, I’m sorry you’re so sick.” You replied as you speedily drove down the empty streets, “We’ll get you feeling better soon, okay?”
“Okay.”

Lover Man
Tumblr media
NOT MY GIF
You were all alone. It was quite peaceful actually. Everyone was either on a mission or out. Due to it being a Friday night. You didn’t want to join the boys tonight. You wanted to stay home and relax. You really didn’t feel like going with your three Bestfriend to bar hop and them try to continuously try to find a man for you.
You were content with yourself right now. And by that you meant you were in love with your best friend and didn’t want anyone else. You were content with being alone if you couldn’t have the man you loved. James Buchanan Barnes that is.
“Come on Y/N, we always go out as a group. You can’t break the gang up.” Your brother Steve pleaded as you walked into the living area in your pj’s
“Steve I already told you guys I wasn’t going I just want to relax. I just got home yesterday and I’m exhausted.” You said as you sit on the couch next to sam as reaching for the remote.
“Come on y/n/n are you really going to try and use that as an excuse?”Sam said nudging yo to get up.
“Yes Sam, I am. I had to be with a sleazy guy while on the mission if you don’t remember. I just want a peaceful night. One where I don’t have to worry about guys trying to hit on me when I’m clearly not interested. I’ve had enough of that for the past two weeks.” You say with slight annoyance.
It annoyed you sometimes how they wouldn’t understand it. Yes it was a mission and it was part of your job to have to be with the enemy to get intel but it still made you feel disgusted. You knew you didn’t have to. You could have an out but it would only prolong the mission. Wanda would always offer to do it but you couldn’t convince yourself to say yes. She was just a kid and you would rather sacrifice yourself than have her have to do it. And you knew that before you joined Nat had to do all of those missions and you really wanted to give her a break from that. She deserved that much. So you sucked it up and took one for the team.
Once you said you had to be with another sleazy guy for a mission Bucky tensed up. You knew he hated you having to do those missions. He hated them so much he got banned from going alone with you on those missions because he almost compromised the mission once. He had went up to the hotel room and was about to break down the door til in his earbud he heard Steve yelling at him. Of course you never found out because you were doing your job. But it tore into him. He wanted to be the only man you laid with. He loved you and you hadn’t even noticed. You always figured it was because you were Steve’s little sister and he took care of you the same way he did Steve.
Yes you two flirted and would occasionally cuddle and do couple things but you never really thought he had feelings for you. He never really flirted with anyone other than you. But it still didn’t register in your mind that he liked you. You figured that, that was something you guys had always done ever since you guys became best friends.
“Guys if she wants to stay home let her. We have a mission in a few days and she needs the rest.” Bucky said smiling down at you as he massaged your shoulders.
You looked up sending him your beautiful smile. The smile that he loves so much
“Thanks. Buck. I know I can always count on you.” You said as you turn back to the tv.
Steve and Sam take that as a sign of defeat. They knew better than to discuss this topic with Bucky especially with you in the room.
As they walked out of the loving area and into the hallway nearing the elevator when Bucky stopped.
“Hey guys I’m just going to stay back tonight.” He said as he leaned his arm on the side so the elevator wouldn’t close.
“Finally going to make move barnes.” Sam said with a smirk.
“Shut up I don’t like Y/N. I just want to make sure she’s okay. She shouldn’t be all alone”
“No one said you liked her. Is it a guilty conscience. I mean I always did like you too as a couple it’s a good balance.” Steve said smirking with Sam.
“Whatever, maybe I do but that’s not why I’m staying back I just genuinely want to make sure she’s okay.” He said as he pushed off one side of the door. Letting it close.
“Just don’t do anything stupid.” Steve replied as it was closing.
“How can I, you’re taking all the stupid with you.” Bucky smirked as it closed getting the last word.
Now there he was watching you at a good distance not wanting to intruded your relaxation. He watched as you got up and turned off the tv. You headed towards the record player and but on some Billie Holliday.
You had always loved her music and it let you have a piece of the olden days. Before everything got all screwed up. You never regret what happened and the decision you made. But you did like it when it was simpler.
You got up and swayed to the music waiting for your favorite song to come on. Finally it played, Lover man.
It reminded you so much of your love for Bucky. How it always seemed like a possibility but it never happened. As you Sang to the music.
“I go to bed with the prayer that you’ll make love to me.” You sing not realizing you’re being watched.
“ I haven’t heard your voice and this song in what feels like forever” Bucky says making his way over to you.
You were startled frozen by the voice. You thought everyone was gone. You thought they all had left. You were so glad that you didn’t dedicate the song to Bucky like you wanted to. That would have been 100x more embarrassing.
“I thought you left with the boys?” You ask walking towards him.
“I couldn’t leave you behind knowing that you had just gotten back home from a mission that I know you hate.” He said. As he walked toward the record player picking up the needle and starting the song over.
He walks towards you and sticks out his arm. You take his hand as you sway to the music. This was always something you imagined in your head and here you are with the man you love dancing to the song you dedicated to him oh so long ago.
“What on your mind? You look very concentrated” he said as he strokes a piece of hair away from your face.
“Just think about the last time we have danced together. Thinking about that last time we all went dancing. It was the night before we were getting shipped to England. Steve had left to go try his luck again.” You chuckled at the memory
“Oh and you brought, what was his name? Sebastian he had too left feet. Remember and my date scarlet, she just wanted to get in everyone’s pants. But we ended up pairing them together.” He laughed. “Yeah I remember being so nervous, I wanted to be my very best because this could have possibly been our last dance together.” He looked down at you smiling.
“Yeah, and I was just so in awe I finally realized why all the girls were so swooned with you. And I was a little disappointed that you didn’t kiss me. But you know time had passed and so have our feelings.” You say as you break from his eye contact.
“Wait you wanted me to kiss you? And passed feelings?” He said stopping out of shock.
“Yeah I kept looking at your lips and then I even inches closer towards you. I figured right there that my feelings for you were one sided.” You say shaking your head.
“I thought you were closing in because of tight space. If I would have know I would’ve kissed you. And they were not one sided feeling let me tell you that ,doll,” He said as you to stared
Now it was your turned to be shocked. “You never said anything. I always assumed you thought of me as a sister.”
“Y/n I was so in love with you, I always thought you weren’t interested because you thought I was a man whore because I always on dates.”
“I thought you didn’t like me because you went on all those dates. I loved you too buck. God, I still love you but I know things have changed, I am sorry I brought it up just forget about it.“ You say as you turn to walk away. You were stopped and turned into him. He looked into your eyes and before either of you could say anything, his lips met yours in a passionate kiss. This was you had been waiting for. You both waited way to long for that kiss. But it was something neither of you had ever felt before.
“I love you Y/N. I always have and I always will. So, what do you say “Will you finally be my girl?”
All you could do was nod.

The Tales of a Little Tiger: Chapter 19- Finding Home Again
Summary: Wanda and Natasha struggle with themselves while they deal with you still missing from their lives.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It had been two weeks since you had disappeared and your mama’s were not faring well. Natasha had turned into a raging mama bear. She had busied herself with doing side missions which was damaging to her relationship with Wanda.
Wanda had locked herself in her room searching through timelines trying to find you through thousands of alternate timelines. It was painful to see versions of herself with her boys, Tommy and Billy. It was also painful to see Vision. Sure, she absolutely loved Natasha; but her and Vision had a special bond and she once loved him. Tears streamed down her face as she heard her boys laughing, she constantly had to remind herself that having her boys was not meant to be in her timeline and that the mission was to find you and bring you home.
Everyone on the team was worried about you and your mama’s. Alexei and Melina had tried to offer comfort to Natasha and Wanda, but both women were stubborn in handling your disappearance.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------
“You need to get through to Wanda. She hasn’t come out of her room in two weeks. I know you’re hurting; but Wanda is also hurting. She must feel that she has no family. Nat, please don’t let this bring you two apart. Y/n will need both of her mama’s.” Yelena said as she walked beside her sister. They had just returned from a mission.
Natasha sighed as she bit her lip. She knew her sister was right… She was being stubborn and it was hurting the woman that she loved. It was just easier for her to ignore everything and fight bad guys to get out her frustration and panic. “You’re right, sestra. It’s just when I see her… I don’t know how to comfort her or be enough for her. Without y/n here it’s just so hard.” Natasha clenched her fists as she tried to stop her tears from spilling over. “I’m so fucking tired of crying! I just want to find my baby!” Before she could stop herself she had sunk down to her knees and sobs wracked through her small frame.
Yelena dropped down to her knees and pulled her sister into her arms and began to hum a soothing tune that Melina had hummed to them when they were children. “We will find her sestra. I have faith that y/n will be back with us.”
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Natasha used the key Wanda had given her and walked into Wanda’s room. Her heart broke when she saw how thin, tired and weak her girlfriend looked. Wanda was glowing red with her eyes closed while she sat in the middle of her bed. She approached slowly and whispered, “Wanda. Can you hear me?”
Wanda’s eyes opened and she turned to Natasha surprised to see that she was actually talking to her. Her lips trembled as the weight of everything was starting to affect her. Her eyes were bloodshot red and she had dropped a ton of weight from not eating, bags were under her eyes and her hair was messy. “I thought… I thought you had left me.”
The red glow of chaos magic dwindled down to nothing as Wanda began to sob. “I thought I had lost you too.”
Natasha climbed on the bed and pulled Wanda into her arms and kissed the top of her head, “I’m so sorry. I would never intentionally leave you. I just didn’t want you to see me so angry… I hurt the people I love when I’m angry and scared. And I’m not angry at you… I’m angry at myself because I should have grabbed her… but I wasn’t fast enough. And I’m angry at myself for leaving you alone… you’ve lost a family before and I can’t imagine how you felt with me gone as well and I’m sorry.”
Wanda clung to Nat as she listened to the woman she loved express her emotions and reasons for leaving her alone. It didn’t make the pain go away, but she understood where Nat was coming from. She had pushed everyone away as well and had avoided her own needs. In her mind she was just so focused on finding you that avoiding meals was like a punishment for her not being able to save you.
“I’m sorry I pushed you away… and everyone else. I just got obsessed with locating y/n. I think I’m close but I just don’t know.” Wanda leaned her head on Nat’s chest and focused on her heartbeat. The strong rhythm was comforting.
“Come, let’s go see everyone and get something to eat. We need to all work together in order to find y/n. From now on let’s come together instead of handling our emotions without each other. I love you, Wanda. We’re going to get our baby girl back.” Nat said as she helped Wanda out of bed.
The whole team stood up and hugged Natasha and Wanda as the two walked into the lounge room. Alexei and Melina were the first to hug the women. “My girls are finally together!” Alexei said as he squeezed them tightly. —---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wanda tried everything she could to try to comfort you but you would not stop crying. “What is it, little one? Do you miss your mama?” Wanda asked as she tried to console you. Your cries were breaking her heart.
You missed your mama’s and you wanted them back but didn’t know how. You started to think about your mama Wanda and your mama Nat and your little hands started to glow blue.
Wanda’s eyes grew big as she felt really strong powers coming from you. Before she could call for Vision a giant portal opened up in front of her.
America ran into the room at the sound of a portal opening up. “That looks like the portal we came through! I knew it wasn’t my power that opened it last time.”
As your hands glowed blue you could see your mama’s through the portal and it made you happy. “Mama!” You squealed happily.
Vision gave a knowing look to his wife, “I think this little one has decided it’s time for her to go home.”
“What! But how do we know that she will make it home? She’s just a baby… I don’t want to just shove her through the portal alone!” Wanda shouted as she felt protective over you.
“I’ll go with her. I’ll make sure she gets home safe.” America said bravely as she reached her arms out to you.
“America, you don’t have to put your life in danger, you could stay here with us.” Wanda said as she felt protective of her as well. She felt torn.
America felt warmth at hearing that Wanda wanted her to stay and live with them. It was a hard choice; but she knew what she needed to do. “I know what it’s like to lose my parents… no one should go through that pain. Thank you for loving us and keeping us safe.”
Wanda and Vision both hugged America tightly before placing you in her arms. “Please take care and please be safe.”
America took a deep breath before stepping into the portal with you in her arms.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------
A giant blue portal opened up in front of all the Avengers including your mama’s. Everyone was arguing about who was going to go inside and investigate it.
Before Nat could walk near the portal she started to see someone coming out of the portal, she squinted her eyes to see if she could make out who or what was coming through.
America clutched you to her chest tightly as she finally made it through the portal, she felt scared as she looked around and saw several people watching her.
“Oh god it’s y/n! She’s back, our baby is back!” Wanda said as she walked up fast to the girl that was holding you. She didn’t know who the girl was, but she was just happy to see you alive and safe.
America tilted her head at realizing that the woman in front of her was a different version of the Wanda she had just said goodbye to. She didn’t know if she could trust this version of Wanda so she stepped away from the woman and clutched you tighter in her arms. “Please don’t hurt us.”
Wanda and Nat both softened their gaze as they eyed the young girl holding you. Nat got down to the girl’s level, “we’re not going to hurt anyone. The baby that you’re holding is our baby. Her name is y/n.”
You perked up when you heard your mama say your name and you made grabby hands towards them.
The girl looked down at you and then to the two women that looked relieved to see you. It was the same look her mothers had made when they saw that she was safe. She took a deep breath before handing you over to them.
Wanda and Natasha took you into their arms and began kissing you and hugging you. You made happy noises as you babbled to them. Everyone joined in on the celebration of you being reunited with your parents.
America stepped aside feeling overwhelmed by everything, she missed her moms and she missed the other Wanda and now that you were back home… she wondered where home would be for her.

Chapter 23: The Tales of a Little Tiger- A Little Star in Daycare
Tumblr media
Summary: America goes to daycare for the first time. Wanda and Natasha discuss the possibility of y/n being autistic and having sensory processing disorder.
America clung to her mama Yelena as they walked into what looked like a classroom.
With the help of Tony and Bruce she was now three years old and in the body of a three year old. It was the age she had chosen for herself.
“What do you think of your new preschool classroom?” Yelena asked America as she kneeled in front of her little.
“Want to stay with you and mommy.” America said as she felt tears fill her eyes.
Yelena wiped away the tears that had fallen down her little’s face. “Aww, my love. It’s only for a few hours everyday. You will have lots of fun. Peter is in your class and y/n is in the toddler class down the hall.” She said trying her best to reassure America.
Kate walked into the classroom, she frowned when she saw America crying in Yelena’s arms. “Everything okay?” She asked as she rubbed her little girl’s back.
“No leave.” America sobbed into her mama’s shoulder. Ever since she had transitioned into a full little, she had developed separation anxiety with Yelena and Kate.
Kate took America into her arms and did her best to soothe her little one. “It’s okay. We will always come and get you. It’s just for a few hours so me and mama can work.”
After a while America seemed to calm down. She sucked on her thumb as she saw Peter run into the classroom along with other children.
Peter ran up to Yelena and hugged her excitedly. “Is America gonna be in my class?!”
Yelena smiled and nodded her head, “yes. She’s a little scared. Do you think you can help her not be so scared?”
Peter nodded his head as he wanted to help in any way that he could. He walked over to Kate and America, “it’s gonna be okay. We’re gonna have lots of fun!” He said excitedly as he took America’s small hand into his.
America let go of her mommy and followed Peter to some shelves full of toys. She giggled and cheered up as they started to play together.
Kate and Yelena both became emotional as they watched their little girl play with the other children.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
When it came time for parents to pick up their children, Kate and Yelena were the first to arrive. While they waited they paid a visit to your classroom.
You walked up to Yelena first and raised your little arms up wanting to be picked up. “Nena!” You babbled as you still couldn’t say your aunt Yelena’s name correctly; yet you had mastered saying Lucky’s name perfectly fine.
“You’re getting so big, y/n!” Yelena said as she chuckled when she picked you up.
“She’s now a tiger cub.” Kate said as she kissed your forehead. “I can’t believe that she’s already two years old.”
Natasha and Wanda walked into the toddler classroom and smiled when they saw Yelena and Kate holding you in their arms.
“It’s nice to see you here. Was today America’s first day? Did you cry sestra?” Natasha teased Yelena.
”Oh, be quiet! We all know that you cried when it was y/n’s first day.” Yelena teased back before saying, “and yes. Kate and I both cried.”
Everyone laughed but it was all in good fun.
You reached your arms out to Natasha who gladly took you in her arms.
While Natasha and Wanda signed you out and talked to your teacher Kate and Yelena walked down the hall to pick up America and see how their little’s first day of daycare had gone.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
America looked up from her coloring sheet and a big smile formed on her face when she saw her mama and mommy standing at the door talking to her teacher. She got up and ran to them.
“Mama! Mommy!” She said excitedly as she ran to both of them. They welcomed her in their arms and held her tightly.
“Hello, my little star. How was your day?” Yelena asked as she couldn’t stop smiling when she felt her little girl run into her arms.
“Had fun, Mama. Peter and me played all day!” America said happily as she smiled big.
Kate also couldn’t stop smiling as she listened to America talk about her day. “That’s wonderful, sweet girl. Sounds like you had a great first day!”
America nodded her head as she showed off her artwork and the crafts that she had made with Peter. She still had some blue paint on her hands and face. Needless to say her first day was a success.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wanda and Natasha cooked dinner together as you played in the living room with your stuffed tiger and some of your toys.
It was storming outside and you started to cry when you heard a loud clap of thunder.
Wanda rushed to you and picked you up. “It’s alright y/n. You’re safe, it was just the thunder.” She comforts you as she shows you that it’s raining outside through the window.
Your little hands are still covering your ears and you’re still having a hard time calming down despite being in your mama’s arms.
Natasha wrapped her arms around you and Wanda. She felt her caregiver pheromones kick in which combined with Wanda’s was able to soothe you. “It’s okay, malen’kiy.”
Once you had calmed down, your mama Wanda strapped you into your high chair and placed your dinner on your tray; she handed you a plastic spoon and attempted to teach you how to feed yourself.
You babbled as you tried to scoop some food onto your spoon by yourself. You were very independent and were in a phase where you wanted to do everything on your own.
Wanda laughed when you kept trying to do it on your own. “Y/n, are you sure you don’t want mama to help you?”
You shook your head no stubbornly as you managed to get some food into your mouth. You clapped your little hands triumphantly.
Wanda and Natasha both smiled and laughed as they watched you feed yourself as they ate their own dinner.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Once you were asleep in your toddler bed cuddling your tiger, your mama’s both leaned down and kissed your forehead. You looked so happy and content tucked in under your favorite blanket.
Natasha wrapped her arms around her girlfriend sensing that something was on her mind, “what’s wrong, my love?” She asked gently.
“I just can’t stop thinking about y/n and how she was crying when she heard the thunderstorm. I’ve noticed that ever since she was a baby that she doesn’t like loud noises and certain sensory interactions bother her.” Wanda said as she watched you sleep.
Natasha nodded her head in understanding, “I’ve noticed the same thing. I know at our last checkup Cho mentioned that y/n might have sensory processing disorder and might be autistic as well. Which if she is isn’t a problem; it just means that her brain works a little differently and we may need to look into what accommodations we can provide for y/n.”
Wanda relaxed in her girlfriend’s embrace as she felt heard and validated for her worries and concerns. “You’re right. If y/n is neurodivergent then that’s perfectly okay. We will do everything we can to make our little tiger’s life the best it can be.”
“It might be a little early to do testing but I’ll contact Cho in the morning and see if we can at least discuss our concerns with her.” Nat said as she placed a soft kiss on Wanda's head.

Chapter 22: The Tales of a Little Tiger- Terrible Two's
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: A cute fluffy chapter where Natasha learns what it's like to take care of a two year old while Wanda is away on a work trip. Peter and y/n have a playdate.
You were now two years old and had entered your terrible twos. Your favorite word was “no” and you loved pushing your mama’s buttons.
“Y/n, let’s get dressed so we can go see Peter and uncle Tony.” Natasha said as she chased you around as you giggled.
“No.” You said as you giggled as you ran from your mama. You let out loud giggles when she caught you and kissed your tummy.
“I caught you, my little tiger!” Nat said as she caught you. She carried you to the bathroom, “can you try to use the potty for mama?” She asked as she placed you on your pink training potty.
You still wore diapers at bedtime but ever since you had turned two years old your mama’s let you wear princess pull up diapers and they placed you on a big girl potty. If you did good then sometimes they would give you a special treat. You sat on the potty and concentrated real hard and you smiled when you heard yourself tinkle in the potty. You clapped your hands at your achievement.
“Great job, Y/n!” Nat said excitedly as she helped you put on your pull up. She then helped you wash your hands. “After you get dressed you can have a treat.”
Your mama dressed you into a cute outfit and braided your hair. She also helped you put on your shoes and once you were dressed she gave you a small lollipop.
You sat on the couch playing on your tablet as your mama grabbed your backpack and finished getting ready.
“Alright, let’s go to the car. You can bring your tablet.” Nat said as she held out her hand to you as she waited for you.
As you sat in your car seat you sucked on your lollipop and played on your tablet. You were pretty smart for your age and your Babu and Dedu had talked your mama’s into getting you a tablet with educational games and videos installed.
Natasha smiled as she drove. She could hear you singing and trying to say the alphabet and count. She couldn’t get over how fast you had grown in a year.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Peter ran up to hug you when he saw you walk out of the elevator. “Y/n! Daddy got me a new toy! Do you want to see?” He asked excitedly.
You smiled big as you held onto Peter’s hand and ran with him to his playroom. You loved playing with Peter because he always had the best toys. Your mama Wanda was always careful with what toys you were allowed to play with. Your eyes grew big when Peter showed you an electric car. “Car!” You said excitedly as you pointed to it.
Peter giggled as he opened the passenger side door, “come on get in!” He said as he helped you get in and then he got on the drivers side. He started to drive the car around the apartment.
“Hey buddy, not too fast!” Tony said as he called out to Peter. He smiled as he heard you giggling as Peter drove.
“Really Tony? An electric car. Wanda is going to kill me for letting Y/n get in a car with a four year old driver.” Nat said as she shook her head and laughed.
Tony shrugged his shoulders, “Wanda doesn’t have to know and besides the kid is a great driver. He’s got good hand eye coordination.”
Nat agreed with Tony as she couldn’t stop smiling watching Peter drive his electric car all around the apartment. She turned to Tony, “Yelena and Kate want to know if there is a way that you can age down their little, America?”
Tony sat down on the couch in front of Natasha, “sure that shouldn’t be a problem. How is the kid settling in? I’m assuming things are going well if they’ve already decided to age her down to her headspace age.”
“She’s settled in really well with Yelena and Kate, and of course Lucky loves her. America has had a rough life with losing her real mother’s and I think a lot of healing can come from giving her a fresh start. She’s so much happier and relaxed when she’s in her little headspace.” Nat says as she takes a sip of her coffee.
Just as Tony is about to respond he jumps up at the sound of the electric car thudding into a wall and the sound of you crying. “Bambi, what happened?” He asked Peter as he ran into the playroom.
Peter looked scared as he looked at you crying and then at his daddy and auntie Nat. “Sorry daddy. Didn’t mean to.”
Nat quickly picked you up and tried to comfort you. She noticed a giant bump forming on your forehead. Yep. Wanda was definitely going to kill her. “It’s okay baby. Let’s go put some ice on your owie.”
“It’s okay Bambi, you’re not in trouble. Accidents happen. Why don’t you go pick out a movie and I’ll make us all some popcorn.” Tony said as he comforted his son and hugged him.
“Okay daddy!” Peter said excitedly as he wiped away his tears. He was glad that his daddy wasn’t mad at him.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
You fussed in your mama’s arms as she tried to hold an ice pack to your forehead. “No!” You yelled as you pushed the ice pack away.
“No ma’am, we don’t yell at mama like that. I know it’s cold but it will help you feel better.” Nat said firmly as she held the ice pack to your head. She pulled out a sippy cup filled with breastmilk and handed it to you hoping that it would help calm you down.
“Tanks mama.” You said as you slowly started to calm down. You started to drink your mama Wanda’s breastmilk as it made you feel safe.
Nat carried you to the living room where Tony and Peter sat waiting with a big bucket of buttery popcorn. She smiled when you sat next to Peter and gave him a hug. “So, what movie are we watching?”
“Lilo and Stitch!” Peter said happily as he pointed to the giant flatscreen tv.
Everyone ate popcorn and enjoyed the movie. Nat kept a careful eye on you to make sure that you didn’t have a concussion and she relaxed a little when she saw that the bump had gone down a little.
By the end of the movie you and Peter had fallen asleep and were cuddled on the couch together. Tony smiled and took a picture of the two of you with his phone, the sight was simply too precious.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
When Wanda got home she could hear you giggling in the bathroom as Natasha was giving you a bath. She smiled as she put her luggage by the door. “I’m home!”
You squealed happily when you saw your mama Wanda walk into the bathroom. “Mama home!” You missed your mama Wanda and you were so happy that you tried to climb out of your bubble bath.
“Oh my baby, what happened to your head?” Wanda asked as she got on her knees by the tub and hugged you not even bothered that you were soaking wet. She gave Natasha a ‘what the hell happened’ look.
“Car! Ouchie!” You said as you pointed to your head and tried to explain what happened to your mama.
Wanda felt anxious as she looked at you and then turned to Natasha, “did you get into a car accident? Why didn’t you call me?”
“It wasn’t technically a car accident. I mean it was but not our car. Tony got Peter an electric car and Y/n was riding with Peter and they ran into a wall.” Nat explained as she rinsed you off and then grabbed your tiger towel and wrapped you up so that Wanda could pick you up.
“You let a four year old drive our daughter around in an electric car?” Wanda said in disbelief as she picked you up out of the tub. She was upset that you had gotten hurt, she was very protective over you.
Wanda placed you in a diaper and dressed you into your pajamas. She kissed your forehead as she gave you a sippy cup full of her breast milk. “I missed you, my little tiger.” She said as she rocked you in the rocking chair in your room.
Your eyes became heavy as you drank your milk and breathed in your mama Wanda’s scent. You had missed being in her arms.
Nat walked in and smiled when she saw Wanda tuck you into your toddler bed. “She’s growing up so fast.”
Wanda smiled as she looked up, “she really is. Look, I’m sorry that I got so upset earlier. I just hate seeing her get hurt; but that’s part of a child’s development. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I can’t put her inside a bubble.” Wanda said as she walked over to her girlfriend Nat and wrapped her arms around her.
Nat leaned down and kissed Wanda on the lips. “I’m so glad that you are home; and I feel the same as you. Sometimes I wish we could put her in a bubble. Also our daughter is very fond of the word ‘no’.” Natasha said as she let out a quiet chuckle.
Wanda giggled, “she gets that from you dear.”

The Tales of a Little Tiger: Chapter 7- Wandering Tiger
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to update this story. I plan on writing a Christmas chapter soon, but I'm not sure if I will be able to post it in time for Christmas. I hope everyone has a lovely holiday.
Wanda packed a backpack for you full of diapers, extra clothes, and breastmilk. Today your aunt Yelena and Kate were going to take you to the zoo. This would also be the first time since the daycare incident that you would be away from Wanda and Nat.
“I think you’ve packed enough for y/n to spend the week with her aunts.” Natasha joked as she winked at Wanda who just rolled her eyes.
“I want to make sure that they have everything they need to take care of y/n.” Wanda responded as she placed your backpack next to your stroller. She was nervous to let you out of her sight.
Natasha wrapped her arms around her girlfriend, “she’s going to be in good hands. Besides, we get to have some time to ourselves.” She said as she placed a kiss on Wanda's soft lips.

“Ugh gross… You can’t even wait until we’ve left to start your fun.” Yelena walked into the apartment shielding her eyes from Wanda and Nat kissing. She pretended that she was grossed out; but she found it cute that her sister was happy.
Natasha laughed as she pulled away from Wanda who was blushing slightly. “I’m going to go get y/n. Wanda is going to go through everything that y/n might need.”
You were dressed in your tiger onesie sitting on your play mat quietly stacking blocks. You jumped a little when your mama leaned down to pick you up. “Mama.” You babbled happily as you clung to her.
“Hello my little tiger. Are you ready to go to the zoo with your aunties?” Natasha asked you as she carried you to the living room.
You squealed in excitement and clapped your hands as you saw that your aunt Kate and Yelena were also wearing tiger onesies to match you. “Mama!” You looked at Nat with happiness as you pointed to your aunts.
“I know, little one. Your aunties have dressed up as tigers to match you at the zoo. I want you to stay with your aunties at all times. Make sure to stay in your stroller or hold their hand. Do you understand me, little tiger?” Natasha asked you as she handed you over to her sister.
You nodded your head in understanding. Right now your headspace was around two years old and you were able to walk and say a few words. You always understood what you were told; but talking came harder to you in little space.
“Please take good care of her. She has a habit of wandering off when something interesting catches her eye, so please keep an eye on her. She is slowly eating solids again so make sure to offer her snacks throughout the day. I’ve also packed breastmilk for her if she refuses to eat or becomes fussy. If you need anything please don’t hesitate to call us.” Natasha said as she buckled you into your carseat in Kate's car. She was beginning to feel panicked about letting you go.
“Relax Natasha. Y/n is in good hands. We will take care of her and she will have a great time with her aunties. Now go and have fun now that you have the apartment to yourself. You’ve been kind of moody and tense lately.” Yelena joked with her sister.
Natasha laughed as she closed the car door and yelled out to her sister, “I have not been moody.”
Wanda grabbed Natasha’s hand and pulled her towards the apartment. “You have been a little moody and tense.”
—------------------
Yelena and Kate bought you a balloon in your favorite color and tied it to your stroller as they pushed your stroller through the entrance of the zoo. You were so excited to see all the animals, especially the tigers and big cat exhibits.
It was the fall so it was the perfect temperature outside, you loved feeling the wind blow against your face. Kate made sure that she offered you snacks and water throughout the day, but so far you had refused everything given to you. You were much too excited to see everything to bother eating.
You had started to feel fussy as you had been sitting in your stroller for what felt like hours and you wanted to get out and explore the zoo for yourself. You let out a fussy cry as you kicked your feet.
“Malen'kiy (little one), what’s wrong?” Yelena asked as she stepped in front of the stroller and gave you her full attention.
“Out.” You whined as you tried to unbuckle yourself.
“Oh, you want out. Okay I’m going to get you out but you need to hold onto Kate’s hand. There are a lot of people and we don’t want you to get lost.” Yelena spoke firmly to you as she unbuckled you from the stroller. As she lifted you out, she noticed that your diaper was full and that you were due for a diaper change.
Kate laughed at Yelena who was making a dreadful look at realizing that you needed to be changed. There wasn’t much that the blonde couldn’t handle, but diaper changes always got the best of her. “Here my love. I will change y/n and we will meet you at the bear exhibit.” She said as she took you in her arms much to your aunt Yelena’s relief.
You babbled happily as your aunt Kate changed your diaper in the private little/caregiver bathroom. It was a family bathroom equipped with a changing table made specifically for littles. It also had a toilet and sink for caregivers to use.
“Are you excited to see the bears? Are you having fun?” Kate asked you as she tickled your belly before zipping up your onesie.
“Kitty!” You squealed as that was what you were most excited to see. You loved bears and the other animals; but you were getting restless. You wanted to see all the big kitties.
You held Kate’s hand as she walked you out of the bathroom. “Kitty.” You said on repeat as you pointed at the sign that had a picture of a tiger and a lion on it.
“We’re going to see the kitties later y/n, but right now we need to meet up with Yelena at the Bears.” Kate said as she led you the opposite direction away from the big tiger sign.
Kate looked around her surroundings as she tried to figure out where the bear exhibit was. It had only been a second that she had let go of your hand. She reached into the diaper bag and pulled out the map of the zoo. By the time she had figured out what direction to go you had already wandered off.
Frantically she looked everywhere trying to spot you in a crowd full of people, “Oh god. Yelena, Wanda and Natasha are all going to kill me!” Kate said as she called out your name and looked everywhere for you. How hard was it to find a little dressed as a tiger?
—--------------
Wanda moaned loudly as Natasha kissed and nipped behind her ear. “Please.” She begged as her hips rocked back and forth.
Natasha smirked as she kissed along Wanda’s neck all the way down to her collarbone. She left small marks along pale skin. She loved hearing her girlfriend beg for her touch. “What’s wrong baby?”
Wanda’s eyes were dilated and looked wild as she was insanely turned on. It had been so long since she had orgasmed and she was growing needier by the second. “I want you.” A whimper left her lips as she felt Natasha’s lips capture her nipple.
“How do you want me, baby?” Natasha asked as she slowly kissed and licked her way down Wanda’s body. She bit her lip and moaned when she saw just how wet she had made her girlfriend. She couldn’t wait to get a taste.
“Nat, please just fuck me! I don’t care how.” Wanda’s back arched as she let out a deep cry of ecstasy as Natasha thrusted two fingers into her pussy that was already dripping. She hadn’t expected Natasha to give in so easily.
“Fuck Wands, you’re so wet and tight baby.” Nat moaned as she leaned in and slowly tasted the sweet juices flowing between Wanda’s legs. She smirked as she used her other hand to hold the redhead in place. “Be a good girl or I’ll stop.”
Wanda’s legs trembled as she did her best to keep her legs open. She could feel her orgasm approaching but under her pleasure she began to feel anxious. Her mind immediately went to you and she clamped her legs shut and pushed Nat away.
“Wanda? What’s wrong? Did I do something wrong?” Natasha asked as she sat up on her knees. She was worried that she had hurt her girlfriend or triggered her.
“I think something is wrong with y/n!” Wanda said as she sat up and started looking for her clothes. She couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong.
“Baby, I’m sure things are okay. Yelena and Kate would’ve called if something happened.” Natasha said as she tried to keep her girlfriend calm. Surely her sister would call if something happened. Now she was second guessing her sister.
“Crap.” Natasha cursed as she looked down at her phone and saw that she had multiple missed calls from Kate and Yelena. “I’m gonna kill them.” She growled as she began to follow Wanda’s lead and get dressed.
————
Yelena and Kate were running around the zoo freaking the fuck out as they still couldn’t find you. They had informed the zoo staff that you were missing and they had left several voice messages on your girlfriend’s phones.
“My sister is going to kill me.” Yelena said as she looked down at her phone that was ringing in her hand. Taking a deep breath she answered her phone.
“What happened? Have you found her?” Natasha’s voice trembled as she hoped to hear some good news.
“We haven’t found her yet. Tasha, I’m sorry. We’ve let the staff know and the police have already been informed.” Yelena said as she held Kate's hand. She felt like she had let her sister down.
“We’re on our way.” Natasha said as she tried to calm down. It took everything in her not to yell at her sister. Fighting wasn’t going to help them find you.
————-
Loud screams of panic caused chills to spread down Yelena and Kate's spine as they looked towards the chaos.
“Fuck!” Yelena cursed as she ran towards the big cat exhibit. She felt her heart sink as her eyes landed on you petting a tiger within the tiger exhibit. The blonde continued to curse under her breath as she fought through the crowd that had formed around the exhibit.
You sat in the middle of all three tigers and ran your fingers through the largest tigers soft fur. You giggled in delight as you felt the rumble of his purrs and happy chirps. You covered your ears as you looked up and saw people pointing and yelling at you and your tiger friends.
Your tiger friends stood up and let out a protective growl as they walked around you and gave displeased looks towards the zoo staff and the crowd of people surrounding their exhibit. To them you were one of their cubs and they would protect you at all cost.
—------
Wanda did her best to keep calm the moment she saw you sitting inside the tiger exhibit. She could tell that the crowd of people was only making matters worse as the noise was causing you and the tigers stress. “I need you all to get the crowds out of here. Nat, I’m going to need you to get the staff to stand down. We need to keep y/n calm so that the tigers don’t view us as a threat.” Wanda said firmly as she instructed Natasha, Yelena, and Kate.
As the crowds got smaller you had slowly calmed down enough to uncover your ears. You patted the grown next to you and smiled when your tiger friends relaxed and sat down next to you. You rubbed your eyes tiredly as you cuddled into their soft fur. You thought your ears were playing tricks on you when you heard our mommy’s voice say your name.
Wanda spoke gently and calmly from the entrance gate that led into the exhibit. She didn’t want to spook you or the tigers that had fallen asleep next to you. “Y/n, it’s mommy. Can you crawl towards me?”
You smiled when you found your mommy who was waving at you from where you had entered into the exhibit. You babbled happily as you crawled towards Wanda who was smiling at you the closer you got to the gate. As you got closer to your mommy you turned to wave goodbye to your tiger friends who were sleeping, you hoped that you would get to visit them again.
“That’s it baby, come to mommy.” Wanda spoke softly as the zoologist unlocked the gate. Wanda let out a sigh of relief as she picked you up in her arms. She was overwhelmed with emotions at finally having you safely in her arms.
You let out a tired cry as you rubbed your face into the crook of Wanda’s neck. You loved cuddling with your tiger friends, but there was nothing as good as being in your mama and mommy’s arms. “Mama.”
“Mama has you baby and mama is never ever letting go.”

The Tales of a Little Tiger: Chapter 10- Christmas Wrapped Up
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: Y/n spends time with family opening Christmas gifts and making new fluffy memories.
Kate and Yelena both couldn’t get over how cute you were, of course it had been a shock to see you in an infant's body; but they got over it pretty quickly. Lucky’s tail wagged happily as he smelled you and gave you lots of puppy kisses. He had a look of confusion on his face as he couldn’t understand how you had gone from big to super tiny.
You fussed a little when you felt overwhelmed by all the love surrounding you.
“It’s okay, malen'kiy.” Wanda said in a soothing voice as Yelena handed you to her.
Natasha couldn’t stop smiling as she watched her family mingle with each other as she prepared Christmas brunch. Her heart was filled with the brim as she realized that this had been the first year that she had truly felt complete.
“Nat, are you alright?” Wanda asked as she came over and gently wiped a tear that was falling down her girlfriend’s face.
Nat let out a shaky breath as she nodded her head, “I’m okay. I’m just so thankful. This is the first time that I don’t feel alone. I think this is the closest thing to a real Christmas Yelena and I have ever experienced.” Natasha smiled as she watched how happy her sister looked sitting next to Kate and Lucky in the living room.
Wanda knew all too well what loneliness felt like and she also knew how lonely the holidays could feel without children or a family. Before you or Natasha, she didn’t really have anyone and she would often spend her holidays locked in her room. “I’m thankful that I now have a family with you and y/n.”
Natasha wrapped her arms around you and Wanda, she let out a laugh as she felt Yelena and Kate join in on their family hug.
—-------------------------------------------------------------------------
You sat patiently in your high chair as everyone began to sit around the table. The food smelt amazing and you were making grabby hands at everything.
Wanda sat next to you as she had a few jars of food in front of her with a baby spoon in each of them, “are you hungry my little tiger? You mama has made you some special Christmas food. Let’s see which ones you like.”
Natasha was quick to put a cute tiger bib around your neck as she had a feeling that you were going to make a mess.
You opened your mouth as you waited for your mommy to feed you. You weren’t too sure how to feel about the first jar as it was green and mushy. When you had been an adult you were never too fond of peas and you hoped to god that your mama had remembered. The moment the green mush hit your tastebuds you made a face and spit everything out!
“Doesn’t y/n hate peas?” Kate asked as she was trying her best not to laugh at Wanda who was wiping green peas from her blouse.
You let out a fussy cry as you continued to wipe your face from the yucky taste in your mouth. You almost didn’t trust as you mommy held up a different spoon up to your mouth. This time the mush was a golden yellow color. You made happy sounds as you ate bite after bite.
“It seems that our little tiger loves Sweet Potatoes.” Wanda spoke in a baby voice as she felt relieved to finally find something that you enjoyed. When you were a little but in an adult body you were still able to eat adult foods; but now they would need to teach you how to eat solids and how to drink out of a sippy cup.
You were starting to get full of the sweet potatoes and you whined when your mommy tried to feed you another bite.
“Do you think she might be thirsty?” Yelena asked as she got up and went to fill up a sippy cup with breast milk that her sister had pumped earlier.
You looked at the purple sippy cup in front of you with curiosity as you attempted to pick it up. Picking anything up with your little baby hands was proving to be a challenge. It took many times before you managed to get the spout into your mouth, you sucked and after a few attempts you managed to get the milk to come out.
Everyone clapped at your accomplishment and you felt so full of love. You continued to drink your milk as everyone ate their own meal and told stories around the table.
“Is it time for presents yet, sestra?” Yelena whined as she gave pleading eyes at her big sister.
Natasha chuckled at her impatient sister. It reminded her of all the Christmases in Ohio where they had both been excited to open the empty presents around the tree. This time the presents were real and that alone brought joy into her soul.
“Yes, sestra. Come let’s go open presents!”
—-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yelena and Kate handed you their present first and they helped you unwrap your gift, of course you had no idea what it was. You were more interested in the wrapping paper and the glittery bow on top.
“Please tell me that you didn’t get y/n a harness and leash.” Natasha said as she tried to stop herself from laughing.
“What? It matches Lucky’s.” Yelena joked as she pointed at Lucky with his brand new rainbow harness that had a bow tie in the front.
Kate smirked as she too was also trying to hold in her giggles. “Y/n will be the safest toddler when she starts walking. We’ve also placed a security chip on the harness… should there be any accidents.”
Wanda rubbed her temples as she shook her head, her lips curved into a smile, “so you’re telling me that you both bought y/n a harness and leash and you in a sense have chipped her?” Wanda laughed as both girls nodded their heads.
You were playing in the wrapping paper and boxes as everyone opened their own gifts and helped you open your own. You had been given toys and outfits that would need to be exchanged for the right size and the correct age appropriate toys.
Lucky was laying happily in his new doggie bed that his aunt Natasha had gifted him and he was also surrounded by toys and a giant bone which he was currently chewing on.
Wanda took pictures of everyone opening their gifts and she especially took pictures of you exploring everything around you.
You looked up at your mommy with happiness and love in your eyes as you made grabby hands at her and babbled, “mama.”
Tears threatened to fall down Wanda’s cheeks as she nodded her head and smiled down at you, “that’s right, detka. I am mama and this is also your mama.” She said as she pointed at Natasha.
“Mama. Mama.” You babbled happily as some drool landed on your bib. Of course you knew who your mama’s were, they were the ones who had loved you the most.
Deep in your mind you knew that you used to refer to Wanda as mommy; but mommy was such a hard word to say at six months old. For now calling them both mama would have to do, and judging by the look in their eyes they didn’t mind being both mama.

I copied this story from my Ao3 account. It was just easier to copy and paste and then edit it as best as I could on my phone. This story was requested by someone who has struggled with epilepsy for several years. I also struggle with seizures though not from epilepsy. So I did my best to describe the emotions one feels during a Grand Mal seizure. I hope that whoever reads this Drabble will feel comfort. Thank you for reading and for all the support.

You groaned in pain when you woke up to the sound of your alarm. Your head was throbbing and you wondered if you were having another migraine. The migraines had been happening more frequently; and you and your doctors were confused as to why you were having them.
“Y/n, are you alright? Is your head hurting again?” Wanda asked as she walked into the bedroom and handed you a cup of warm tea. Your doctors had suggested you stop consuming caffeine, so you had made the switch to drinking tea.
“I think I’m going to call into work today. My head is killing me.” You said as you shut your eyes tightly as you felt a stabbing pain in your head.
Wanda eyed you carefully as she placed a kiss on your forehead. “I’ll email your boss for you. Why don’t you go back to sleep? Nat will be home soon. Maybe we can all relax and have a movie night?”
You nodded your head, “ I’d love that. Thanks Wanda.” You said as you laid back down and smiled when Wanda tucked you in.
“Sweet dreams my love.” Wanda whispered before she gently shut the bedroom door.
———————————————————-
You woke up from your nap feeling dazed and confused. You found yourself standing in the backyard just staring off into space. You jumped when you felt someone touch your shoulder.
Natasha and Wanda had been freaking out for the past hour trying to find you. They felt relieved and worried when they found you standing frozen in the middle of the backyard. They had been trying to get your attention for over five minutes.
“Detka, you’re scaring us. Please let us know if you can hear us.” Natasha said as she finally placed her hand reassuringly on your shoulder.
You looked at her confused as you took in your surroundings. “Why are we outside?” You asked as you tried to remember when you had even gone outside. The last thing you remembered was Wanda tucking you in bed.
“Love, I think it’s time we go visit Bruce and Helen. We’re worried about you. You wandered off and we didn’t know where you went. You don’t even know how you got here.” Wanda said as she tried to keep her voice down.
“Can we just have our movie night? It’s probably just stress. I have been working long hours at work for this huge project. I’m off tomorrow. If it makes you feel better I’ll go see Bruce and Helen then.” You said stubbornly as you began to walk back towards the house.
Wanda and Natash both let out a frustrated sigh; it wasn’t what they had wanted to hear. But they didn’t want to argue and cause you more stress.
You were tired of seeing doctors and having them tell you that you were overreacting. None of your tests showed any reason for concern and some hospitals even put you down as a possible drug addict. Deep down you knew that Bruce and Helen would listen to you, but you were also terrified to find out the true reason for the sudden headaches. Google was no help as it always implied that you had cancer or a brain tumor.
————————————————————
Natasha walked into the living room and placed your favorite blanket on top of you as you got comfy on the couch. “What movie do you want to watch, detka?” She asked as she cuddled next to you.
“Let me guess? You want to rewatch the Star Wars movies again.” Wanda said as she brought a big bowl of popcorn and sat on the other side of you. She had already turned on Disney+ and had it selected to show all the Star Wars movies.
You were a huge fan especially of the older movies. Most people complained about the poor cgi and special effects; but you preferred them over the newer Star Wars movies.
Natasha pretended to be annoyed with your movie selection; but she enjoyed seeing the happiness in your eyes every time you watched the movies.
Both Natasha and Wanda watched as your body twitched anytime there were bright flashing lights on the screen. At first they thought you were just cold.
Your heart was beating fast as the stabbing pain in your head had intensified. You did your best to ignore the pain and enjoy the movie; but every time a lightsaber would clash with another the pain grew into an electric feeling. The pain spread from your head to the rest of your body and within seconds your whole body began to convulse.
Natasha was quick to react as she got up quickly and moved you to lay on your side. “Wanda, she’s having a seizure. I need you to turn off the TV. I think the flashing lights are triggering her. Call Bruce.” She said frantically as she did her best to keep you from accidentally hurting yourself.
Tears fell down your cheeks as you convulsed even harder. It felt like electricity was pulsing through your body at rapid rates. You were aware of what was happening; but it was like you had no control of your body.
“Y/n, stay with me baby. We’re right here. Bruce is on his way. I need you to breathe.” She said to you as she watched in horror as you had stopped breathing a few times.
Your convulsions stopped for a few seconds before your body began to seize a second time.
“Damnit, where is Bruce?!” Wanda said frustratingly as she paced back and forth anxiously. She felt helpless as she watched you struggling to breathe.
Natasha was doing her best to make sure you didn’t choke on the foam that was now forming in your mouth. She didn’t even realize she was crying as she watched your eyes roll back.
The convulsions had finally stopped and you were still unconscious. Your eyes were open but they were glazed over and you weren’t responding to anything or anyone.
“Detka, it’s okay. You’re going to be okay. I need you to keep breathing. Please stay with us.” Natasha begged you as her voice shook.
“I’m here. I got here as fast as I could.” Bruce said as he quickly moved over to you. With speed and precision he placed an IV in your arm and gave you anti-seizure medications, muscle relaxers and anti-nausea medication through the IV. He checked your pulse and listened to your heartbeat.
“Will she be okay?” Wanda asked as placed a shaky kiss to your forehead. Your eyes had closed and you looked completely exhausted.
Bruce gave Wanda and Nat a reassuring look. “I’m not sure. She’s stable right now. I need to run several tests to identify what’s causing her to have seizures. Have you noticed anything off about y/n lately?”
Wanda nodded her head, “she’s been getting migraines for over a year now. Recently she’s been zoning out, wandering off, forgetting where she is or what she’s doing.”
“It sounds like epilepsy. I won’t be sure until I do tests. Let’s get her to medbay and we will go from there.” Bruce said as he carefully picked you up and placed you on the stretcher he had brought with him.
————————————————————
You looked so small lying down on the giant hospital bed connected to all the machines monitoring your vitals.
Wanda looked worriedly at Natasha who hadn’t said a word since they had arrived at medbay. “Nat, it’s okay detka. It’s okay to break. You’re safe.” She said as she watched her girlfriend's defenses fall.
Nat crumpled to the floor as she let out silent sobs. She had watched so many people die, she was a trained killer. Yet nothing was as terrifying as watching you struggle to live. She was terrified as she held you on your side; the only thing she could do was remind you that you weren’t alone and hope that you could hear her voice. “I should have made her see Bruce sooner. What if it’s too late? I… I can’t lose her.” Nat said in between sobs as she began to panic.
Wanda fell to her knees and wrapped Natasha in her embrace and rocked back and forth. “This isn’t your fault. Y/n is strong and stubborn as hell, she’s going to pull through.”
Natasha held onto Wanda as she started to rebuild her walls. She wiped away her tears and did her best to even out her breathing. “Thank you, detka. YA lyublyu vas.”
“I love you too. Come let’s go check on y/n.” Wanda said as she helped Natasha get off of the floor.
————————————————————
Your whole body felt heavy and sore as you had started to wake up. The medications that were given to you made it hard for you to come to your senses.
“Y/n, baby it’s okay. You’re safe. We are at medbay, you had a few seizures.” Wanda said as she held your hand.
“Nat?” You asked as you did your best to open your eyes to find her.
Panic filled your chest when you couldn’t find her. You knew how terrified she must’ve been to have seen you so weak, vulnerable, and sick. Wanda had always been the understanding one. The one to give you space when it comes to you finding answers about your health. Natasha on the other hand would often argue with you about being vigilant on getting answers. You, Wanda and Yelena are all the family that she really has and losing you would crush her.
You knew that you were selfish and stupid for not going to get seen by Bruce and Helen sooner. The headaches, confusion and now seizures had taken control of your life, you were just scared to find the cause for it happening; but in waiting for answers it felt as though you were losing Natasha.
Wanda shook her head as she felt and heard all of your dark thoughts. “She’s not mad at you, detka. She’s worried about you. We both are.” Her voice broke as tears filled her eyes, “we don’t want to lose you. If Bruce hadn't gotten to us in time… I don’t know if you would still be with us.”
Tears fell down your face as the fear and guilt sank heavy on your chest. “I’m sorry. I should’ve just listened to you and Nat. I was just scared and tired. Tired of being told that I’m crazy, or that there’s nothing wrong with me. It was exhausting having to argue with doctors and call into work just for a stupid headache. Still, I should have gone. What if I’ve made everything worse by putting it off?” You said as you started to cry.
Your heart rate was spiking from the anxiety. You turned away from Wanda, “are… are you both breaking up with me?”
Wanda’s mouth dropped open in surprise when you had asked her. She shook her head as she moved closer to you and cupped your face gently in your hands. “Y/n, look at me. There is nothing that could make us even think about leaving you or breaking up with you. We love you detka. You know how much Nat loves you. It’s hard for her to see you hurting and there’s nothing that she can do… that we can do to help you. Through sickness and in health we love you.” She said as she pulled you carefully into her embrace.
———————————————————
Natasha walked in your hospital room as she had heard the whole conversation between you and Wanda. She felt guilty that she hadn’t been there when you had woken up; but she needed a moment to calm down. As soon as her eyes met with yours she could see pain in your eyes and facial expression.
“Nat… I’m so sorry. I’m sorry.” You repeatedly apologized as you fidgeted with the tape that was keeping your IV line in place.
Natasha rushed to your side as she held you in her arms. “Oh baby, it’s okay. Shhh… stop apologizing. I’m not upset with you. If anything I’m upset with myself. I should’ve done more than just argue and push you to get seen. You shouldn’t have had to go to the hospital and doctors alone. You are more important to us than our missions. We promise that you won’t have to go through this alone and I’m so sorry that you even had to fear me leaving you.” She said sadly as she looked into your eyes which were now red and puffy from crying.
You nodded your head as you took in her words. You felt secure and safe surrounded by Wanda and Nat. Most of your fears had melted as your girlfriends did their best to reassure you. After such an emotional conversation you felt completely exhausted and began to drift off to sleep as Natasha and Wanda held you.
————————————————————
Hours passed as you slept and Bruce had done every single test imaginable. He walked into your room just as you had started to wake up.
“Y/n, I have some good and bad news for you.” He said solemnly.
“The good news is that you don’t have cancer or any tumors.”
Natasha and Wanda relaxed into their seats upon hearing the good news. Natasha held your hand tightly as she spoke up first, “and the bad news?”
“The bad news is that you have epilepsy. Based on your EEG (Electroencephalogram) results it indicates that your brain activity shows all the signs of epileptic seizures. I think it’s safe to say that bright flashing lights are one of your triggers, stress is another thing that can trigger a seizure.” He said as he spoke slowly, making sure you were able to process everything he was saying.
Your voice cracked as you felt a mix of emotions, “what is the plan of treatment?” You asked as you tried to stay in control of your emotions. On one hand you felt thankful to finally have a diagnosis, but you also felt afraid.
What would having epilepsy mean for you? Would you still be able to drive, hold down a job, have children? What would your life look like? You had always been independent and the thought of losing your independence scared you.
Bruce cleared his throat as he looked down at his clipboard, “for now I’m prescribing you anti-seizure medication. They might make you feel very tired and dizzy until your body gets used to them. I highly suggest you take off work, as I’ve said before stress can trigger seizure activity. Screen time should be limited and try to be mindful of consuming caffeine. I want to observe you on the anti-seizure medications for the next few days.”
Both Wanda and Nat thanked Bruce as they walked him out of the room. They were relieved to know that your diagnosis was manageable.
You felt overwhelmed from the news of your diagnosis. You felt as though your whole life was changing.
Wanda and Nat joined you on the hospital bed as they held you in their embrace. “Detka, I know all of this is scary and unknown, whatever happens we will always be right here by your side.” They both reassured you as they kissed away the tears that fell down your face.
You didn’t know what the future held for you; but one thing was for sure. You had the love and support from your girlfriends and with them by your side, you knew you could face anything.

Request: [Hi! Can I ask a wandanat x reader where the reader faints because she forgot to eat or something like that and her girlfriends become worried and protective? Thank you so much]
(So, I went with what you requested but I added that the reader struggles with an underlying eating disorder. I hope you don’t mind. I wanted to bring comfort to those who struggle with eating. I hope you still enjoy this story. Thank you for requesting me to write something. I had a great time writing this short story.)
Trigger Warning: eating disorders, ARFID eating disorder, mentions of emotional abuse, mental illnesses
You got home from work completely exhausted. You had turned down dinner with your girlfriends. Sure you felt bad, but you had been around so many people today that you needed time to recharge from social interactions.
Your favorite way to distress was to play Animal Crossing on your switch and get lost in doing your everyday island tasks. It always made you happy to check up on all your island villagers.
Your stomach growled as you finally looked at the time in the corner of your game. “Shit.” You mumbled as you realized that you hadn’t eaten since yesterday. It was so easy to dissociate and forget about your needs.
Life was so stressful at times. Between working and being in a relationship with two amazing women, it was easy to just put your needs on the back burner.
Your phone lit up with several missed calls from Wanda and Natasha.
“Hello?”
“Y/n, oh god are you okay? Detka, we’ve been so worried about you.” Natasha asked. Her voice was full of concern.
Instantly you felt guilty for not answering your phone. When it came to you your girlfriends were very protective. They weren’t controlling in a toxic way; they just had a habit of worrying about you.
“I’m sorry I didn’t hear my phone. I’m okay… it’s just been a long day. How was dinner with Wanda?” You asked, trying to change the subject.
“It’s okay. Are you sure you’re okay? Hey listen, we’re coming by to bring you dinner. Wanda and I went to your favorite restaurant and got you your favorite dish.” Nat said into the phone. She could hear how exhausted you were through the phone.
“It’s okay. I’m just going to head to bed. Thank you for thinking of me though.” You said as you began to fidget with the necklace that they had gifted you for your birthday.
“Detka, we’re coming over. No arguing. We’re pulling in right now.” Wanda said in her stern voice. She could tell that you weren’t in a healthy headspace.
You knew better than to argue with Wanda. “I’ll see you in a little.” You said before hanging up.
It wasn’t until you got up that you began to feel shaky. Your vision felt blurry but you shrugged it off; it was probably just from being tired and from playing hours of Animal Crossing.
You went to your front door and unlocked it for your girlfriends.
“Baby, you look pale. Are you feeling okay?” Wanda asked as she immediately felt your forehead to check if you had a fever.
Natasha instantly started to plate the food that they had brought for you. “Love, what do you want to drink?” She turned to ask you.
“I’ll have water. Wanda. Baby, I’m okay.” You said as your vision started to darken. You didn’t even believe your reassurances as you started to feel your legs give out and your vision turn black.
“Y/n!” Wanda yelled as she tried but failed to catch you. She watched in horror as your head hit the hardwood floor with a loud thud.
Natasha ran quickly to you as she had watched you faint from the kitchen. She sprung into action as she carefully picked you up and placed you on the couch. “Wanda, I need you to prop her legs up on some pillows.” Natasha said as she checked you over to make sure that your head wasn’t bleeding.
Wanda worked quickly to get your legs propped up. She looked at you worriedly as your face had lost so much color.

It had taken you five minutes to finally wake up. You let out a pained groan as the pain of hitting your head sank in. You tried to sit up but were pushed down by Wanda.
“Easy detka. Take it slow.” Wanda said as she helped you slowly sit up. She noticed how glazed your eyes looked. “I think you may have given yourself a concussion.”
You closed your eyes as you still felt dizzy. Your stomach betrayed you and growled loudly. Eating has always been difficult for you.
When you were younger you struggled with eating disorders. It never really stemmed from your weight. Instead it developed from food aversions and disliking the sensory of certain foods. Growing up your family would get onto you and say that you were just picky; so you had found it was just easier to avoid eating all together. Sometimes your eating disorder would casually creep back into your life.
You didn’t know how to tell your girlfriends just how badly you were struggling to eat; you didn’t want them to worry even more than they already did about you.
Tears fell down your cheeks as you got lost in the thoughts in your head. Thoughts of feeling like a burden.
“Detka?” Natasha moved closer to you and gently wiped your tears away. “Y/n, what’s going on?”
“I… I need to eat… but I just can’t. I can’t do it.” You said in a shaky voice. Your whole body shook like a leaf as even more tears fell down your face.
You felt a panic attack coming on. You had told Nat and Wanda a little about your food aversions; but you never talked about what happens when the eating disorders come back.
“Take a deep breath for me detka. You’re not in trouble. We’re worried about you; but we’re not upset with you. You’ve done nothing wrong.” Wanda said as she held your hand and gave a gentle squeeze. She hated the thoughts that were radiating off of you. She wanted you to feel safe and loved.
“Why can’t you eat detka?” Natasha asked as she helped you settle your breathing. She could tell that you were struggling to open up to them.
You took a shaky breath as you hung your head low. “I have a eating disorder called ARFID which stands for Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder. I’ve had it ever since I was little. At first it started out as me not liking the sensory of certain foods. So basically texture, taste, and smell. Then I became restrictive about what foods I ate and when I ate food. It’s really easy for me to forget to eat or I will have a low appetite. This disorder isn’t due to fear of gaining weight or because of poor self esteem. Some days I’m just terrified to eat. I know it’s wrong. I need to eat, but it’s so hard. None of my safe foods feel safe anymore; and now I’m burdening you by making you worry about me and my stupid brain.” You said in a huff of emotions. You had started to rock back and forth as you did everything in your power not to look your girlfriends in the eye.
“Oh detka, you are never a burden to us and your brain is definitely not stupid. You’re so brave for opening up to us about this. We know it must’ve been scary and hard for you to talk about.” Wanda said as she gently pulled you into her warm embrace.
You couldn’t help but let out the sobs you were holding in. “I really am trying to get better.” You said in between sobs as you held onto her tightly.
Natasha rubbed your back soothingly. She was slightly alarmed when she felt how thin you had become. You always wore large sweatshirts, so it was hard for them to gauge your actual size. She could see the worry and concern in Wanda’s eyes. “Baby, do you think you can try to eat a little tonight?”
The fear of eating gripped your chest, but you pushed past it as you nodded your head. “I can try.”
Natasha brought the plate of takeout over to you. “Would you feel better if we shared the plate with you?”
You smiled and nodded your head. No one had ever offered to help you eat a serving of food before. Eating everything on your plate has always given you anxiety. Especially when your family called you wasteful and would make you stay at the table until you ate everything on your plate.
Wanda put on your favorite Disney movie and the three of you began to eat off of the plate.
You took one bite at a time and pretty soon the plate was empty; and for the first time you felt safe and full.
Wanda and Natasha gave you the proudest and warmest smile before they wrapped you tightly in their embrace.

Requests Open for Wandanat x reader
I’m new to taking requests but I would like to try writing short little stories for Wandanat. I’m okay with writing smut, I’m just not comfortable with writing any mommy/daddy kink stories. I enjoy writing little reader stories. If you have any ideas or requests please let me know. I will also be posting requests over on my Ao3 account.
