hello finally published my first ever fic :)) i wrote a supercorp banana fish au fic bc i need therapy (and also the concept wouldn’t get out of my head)!!! here’s the summary:

Title: Somewhere In These Eyes

Lena Luthor is the young and fearless gang leader who was taken in as a child by Talia Al Ghul, a powerful woman involved in the dangerous underworld of drugs. Lena has been groomed by Talia to be her heir, but when a new drug called ‘Kryptonite’ with mysterious effects makes it’s way into the streets, Lena's life is thrown into turmoil when it brings us back to her dark past.

Meanwhile, Kara Danvers is a young journalist new to National City, searching for meaning and purpose in her life. Her sister, Alex, moves into the bustling city as Kara tags along while she tries to make sense of her past. When she decides to write an article on the city's street gangs, she crosses paths with Lena and soon finds herself caught up in a world of violence and intrigue.

Lena falls deeper into the cruel world she was born in, but now Kara’s here to pull her out of it. Together they work to unravel Lena’s past and it’s connection to ‘Kryptonite’.

Will their love be enough to save each other from the dangers that lurk, or will they fall victim to the ruthless world they've entered?

BANANA FISH ; CREATURE!AU

(~ hello! Today I gonna imagine you my new creation! It’s small au about Ash and Eiji and the reality where they can be creatures. It would be in several parts, so it’s the first one. I hope you would enjoy it! ~)

PART 1. The world, which begins from us.

Just imagine the world, where people have got an opportunity to turn to creature. You can turn to only one form (u can’t change the way how u look like in creature form).

Of course, Ash and Eiji have this ability too.

Ash become pink one with six elvish ears. And Eiji is blue creature who would remind you panda bear (he’s got light blue wool).

And when you turn to it, some of your skills improve automatically. For example, if you have got more ears or eyes, then you have in human form, you could hear or see better in creature form. Also scales and wool protect your skin etc.

Some types of creatures are common, so it means that there also are unusual types.

There are a lot of bandits who try to catch some of people with unique creature form.

China boss Yut Lung wanna to his own collection blue panda. It’s not really rare one, but it’s only three or so creatures in US (In China live about one hundred of them).

It’s so boring for him get panda creature from China. He interested in catching this one in US. And catching Eiji become his purpose.

Not only because his young and would be good instance. But also because of Ash.

Ash is one of the major bosses in US, in spite of his age (his only 17). He’s strong-willed, cruel and always gets what he wants. Ash knows criminal world thoroughly. As Yut Lung is.

Maybe they could become the cruelest duet in criminal area, but Yut decided for himself — they would be enemies. He thought that they are so different to work together. But the truth was: they are so similar. As much as they’ll never accept.

Yut Lung wanted to catch Eiji not only in case get panda in collection, but also because of envy. Why such a strong guy, as Ash was, chose this weakest one? It was unfairly.

Ash had met Eiji in bar. Okumura just sat down with soda and got bored. He learned from his teacher Ibe that the best way to find relationships or friends — find them in bar. Eiji admitted after ten minutes sitting there that it was a such bad advice. But he was wrong.

Ash noticed new face and firstly tried not pay attention on Eiji. After two glasses of cognac he gave up and sat down to Eiji.

— Are you a member of Chinese gang?

— W-Wait… What? - Eiji was embarrassed and scared. The blonde one looked not really friendly. Exactly not.

— Are you a new member of Chinese, right? - persistently said Ash.

— I don’t really understand you… I’m just a… So, I’m not a member of any gangs or groups…

— Oh, okay, I’m sorry.

Ash turned away but stayed near Eiji.

— Well… My name is Eiji, do you wanna be my friend? - asked Okumura with smile.

— Your… friend? - it was the Ash queue to be embarrassed. — So… - he looked at couple of guys from his gang, — why not… My name is Ash.

At the beginning of the story, Arven has his hair long... But when he got to know Giacomo better, Arven allowed Giacomo to cut his hair.

Lore 🍌🐟 | Giacomo is part of the academy's journalism club. Frustrated at not being able to get his journalistic career off the ground, he sets out to find something interesting. In his search, Giacomo crosses paths with Arven by accident. Arven, for his part, is the son of professors Sada. and Turo, In this AU Sada dedicates research towards teracrystals, but unknowingly her research would lead to the creation of a substance that would lead a human or Pokémon to fall into their most primitive instincts. Arven knows how worrying this substance can be and even more so for those it is aimed at, the higher-ups in the academy and occasionally students.

Here is your excuse to Rant about Evil Eiji- Aria

Whdjejdj okay so, I know this is a very, very late response but since its been a hot minute and I have thoughts I'm gonna take the time to just talk about Eiji in general. Mostly cause in the context of why my Evil Eiji au's exist I think it's kinda important.

Sooo, I've been lurking in the bf fandom for a hot minute and I've had plenty of time to go over my feelings on Eiji's fandom portrayal (specifically in fanfic) and decide I kinda hate it. People have painted him as this "uwu soft boy" for a while, occasionally going for the manic pixie dream boy route, and it's be frustrating especially since I've spent hours of my life picking about this guy only to see people boil down his character into a few small descriptors.

Obviously this isn't old news, this was something plenty of people around me expressed distaste about long before I even started making/writing au's and something people still talk about. This period of time definitely defined how I ended up writing Eiji as a whole, and especially why I found myself creating not one but four Evil Eiji au's.

Now for those who don't know, my og Evil Eiji au, focused heavily on the idea of Eiji utilizing his sweet and innocent persona in order to get away with things like murder, emotional manipulation, and a bunch of other stuff all prompted by his newfound obsession with Ash who he ends forming a relationship with pretty early on.

The inspiration for this au came initially from a discussion I had with friends where, someone mentioned a similar idea only it was about Ash and not Eiji. It basically took Ash's canon preservation of Eiji's suposed innocence and flipped it on it's head, where Ash had this fixed idea of Eiji in his head and was actively uncomfortable whenever he ended up doing things that contradicted that vision.

I was immediately captivated by this idea. I mean at that time I'd only seen a handful of people recontextualize Asheiji and have the negative aspects of it be the focal point. Naturally, this got my brain juices flowing and it got me thinking, what if Eiji was the one purposely getting others to perceive him as innocent? What if he was emotionally manipulating people into protecting him, getting them to basically worship him and fawn over him? What if he was so good at this he could get others to literally murder for him?

Mind you the context of the anime was still fresh in my mind and I was looking back at all the instances Eiji's effects on people were shown on screen or referenced. Hell, Max even flat out says Eiji makes people either want to protect him or destroy him. And yet absolutely nothing is done with this info. Neither the anime or the manga even mention or hint whether or not Eiji's aware he has this effect on the people around him, even though the potential this has for Eiji's character is massive.

Sure people have made joking mentions of Eiji weaponizing his cuteness to get what he wants before but I ended up taking this to the extreme, spending hours discussing and curating this entire story around him actively utilizing his appearance and persona to do absolutely terrible shit, just because of one small conversation with friends.

Now you might be wondering, "Max why does any of this actually matter?", and to that I say, because this is just a tiny example of how Eiji's character can be twisted in a fun new interesting way where he's not just some prop for other to explore Ash's trama through. Don't get me wrong I've read some really fun takes on Eiji's character, and I don't think people shouldn't be able to use Eiji as a way to explore Ash in depth, but I just wish more people would capitalize on the idea of Eiji taking charge of his story. To have him act on his own, make decisions, do things that aren't related to his relationship with Ash or his story, and to just have him feel like an actual person and not some half empty glass of potential.

Like I wouldn't be here with so many Eiji centric au's if the guy wasn't actively so easy to write a bunch of interesting new character takes for. In a way, this au was meant to be an outlet for me to implement all my fucked up Eiji ideas and to just show people this guy isn't just so innocent soft boy, whose only here to "fix" Ash. He's his own person, with his own issues and flaws and with so many little tidbits you can twist and bend until you've eventually got a bunch of new character traits to shove onto him and make him even more interesting.

All this to say, I love Eiji, I love Evil Eiji, I love it when he's allowed to commit murder and I especially love torturing him because nothing screams character development like putting him through increasingly more traumatic scenarios.

Anywho, thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope this isn't a terrible disjointed mess but whatever as long as my point came across I can live with that lol

Eiji's sister doesn't have a name, so I refer to her as Fuku bc that's what the random name generator wanted.

idea: Ash survives and comes to see Eiji in Japan

It had been a little less than a month since Eiji had returned to Japan. His injuries had almost fully healed, and he was able to walk around and do things again. His poor mother had been horrified to see the state he was in when he arrived home. She cried so hard seeing him hurt in that wheelchair. He remembers thinking about how upset he was that Ash hadn't come, but he was sure that he would see him again while his mother thanked Ibe for taking care of him and his father yelled at Ibe for letting him get hurt.

About a week after he arrived home, he got a call from Ibe saying that Max had called him, and Ash was in the hospital after getting stabbed by Lao. Max had asked him not to tell Eiji yet, but he thought that he deserved to know what happened. Eiji wanted to go right back to America to check on Ash, but he didn't. He decided that he needed to stay here for a while before doing anymore travelling and he's confident that Ash would be ok, ash is strong. One of the strongest- no, the strongest person that he's ever met.

He was so worried about Ash, asking Ibe if he knew how he was doing every day. He remembers thinking that he shouldn't of came back until he was sure that Ash and everyone else was ok. He was so relieved when a few days ago Ibe told him that Ash had finally been released.

He was snapped from his thoughts when his mother called his name. He looked up from where he was staring at a page of his book.

"Sweetie, someone's here to see you."

"What?"

"I think it's a friend from America. He barely speaks Japanese, but he kept saying something in English and your name so I figured I would get you."

Eiji tried to think of who it could be. What if Ash had gotten into more trouble and someone had come after him again? now, that was extremely unlikely. But who could it be? Max is too busy with his engagement and planning his marriage. He had heard that Sing was working with Yut Lung now, so who?

"Thanks ma" He cautiously got up and walked to the door that was cracked open.

Upon opening the door, he was met with a familiar face, ash. Ash had come to see him.

He just stood there staring and Ash just stared back. Finally, he worked up the ability to say something.

"Ash..."

"Eiji..."

"Ash!"

"Eiji!"

Ash jumped onto Eiji, bringing him into a tight hug, Eiji hugged him back. They both pulled back a little, staring at each other, both of them crying happy tears. Ash moves one of his hands to Eiji's face, gently pulling him into a soft kiss. They both Smile as they pull away.

Eiji grabs his hand and pulls him inside the house, shutting the door behind them. As soon as he moves his hand from the knob its back around ash and they're hugging again. They stay like that for a while before Ash remembers that this isn't his home and pulls away.

"How are you? Are you ok? I heard that you were stabbed. You just got released a few days ago, right? Why are you here?"

"I'm fine now, I lost a lot of blood and ended up passing out from blood loss in the library but I'm ok now." Ash responds, gently taking Eiji's hands into his. "And I'm here because I missed you."

The nice moment only lasts for a short minute because Eiji suddenly turns around.

"Awwww, Eiji! Your so on-edge all the time since you came back! I can't sneak up on you anymore!" Fuku, Eiji's younger sister pouts.

"Heh, sorry Fu."

"who's that?" Fuku and Ash both say at the same time, pointing at each other.

"Ash," Eiji starts saying in English "This is Fuku, my younger sister." He turns to Face the girl better, "Fuku," he says in Japanese now, "This is Ash, my....Friend from America" he blushes a little when he decides not to tell her that they're dating.

"Hehe! I knew that that charm I gave you would work!!" Fuku laughs as Eiji jumps back a little.

"Ahh, that was intentional!?"

"What did she say?" Ash asked.

"r-remember that charm I told you about? She said that she knew it would work." The red on both of their faces intensifies and so does Fuku's laughter.

"Well, if it's that obvious, may as well just own it." Ash says, "You can introduce me as your boyfriend if you'd like."

"Sure."

And they all three smile.
