I hate it how , in the fantastical pictures and magic depicting scenes they show the magical help coming out or going in some delicate girl figure with perfect hairs and a 36-24-36 body.

I mean can't there be a Cinderella or a snow white who is tortured by stepmother or some other monsters of life? Who in spite of going through all the ruthless pain, has no glowing white skin and long slender hands with perfect wavy hair and a melodious voice.

Why can't anyone be sympathetic about the girl who just has a lot of brain and no definite beauty but is tortured by the ravens who feed on the live carcass of her dreams and ambitions.

I mean, the frogs and the beasts are okay. But a fat plump girl who never had a mani-pedi or does not know how to wear her hair like a princess is not.

Why does no one consider that Rapunzel might have had a very plump physique along with the long shiny hair.

Or Jasmine had a bad problem of stretch marks and cellulite?

Make your flaws beautiful

I have freckles lightly sprinkled under my eyes and across my nose. I like to think of them as memories when the sun, stained my cheeks with her soft kisses. I have a mole, not much bigger than a small button, placed harshly next to my left ear. But I pretend that it’s a birthmark. It’s a unique reminder that I came into this world with the potential to inspire. I have dimples, two indentations in my cheeks that let people know when I’m truly smiling. They are happy little crevices, caves, created with years of laughter. I have whispy wrinkle lines that shoot out at the edges of my eyes, formed, etched from constant happiness, never ending smiles that make my face hurt.
