i am wide awake thinking about that post canon jb au again when I should be sleeping …!!! such is the nature of the jbrainrot…
#the whole setting is jb hanging out in the rock post war#and tyrion became lord of the westerlands / the rock is his but he’s off doing stuff in kingslanding and jaime is just filling in for him#atm . but after tyrion comes back his original plan WAS he’ll get married to brienne right away and they can move back to tarth or be#travelling hedge knights together or whatever brienne wants to do he’s down for it. but the important thing is that he wants to stay with#her .. so he’s using the time they have together currently to court her bc she deserves that at least !!#so jaime goes off trying to court and woo brienne but she just thinks they’re hanging out bc they got relatively close in the war#so jaime being touchy feely isn’t anything new. jaime making innuendos and being kinda flirty isn’t anything new either#but this time he means it LOL he’s like I want to kiss you SO badly and brienne will be like lol silly jaime (:#I was also thinking they’d help rebuild lannisport just bc it’s a time for healing now and it would be good for the people to get to know#jaime and the lannisters in general bc of how they would just used to sit high above the rock looking down on everyone#but now jaime is like. actively helping and being known and being with the people rather than just being that absent distant lord#also he’s thinking he might as well try and foster some relationship with the commoners to his house bc it’s for tyrion anyway#so he’s off doing that and brienne is tagging along bc she does not want to go home yet#she wants to stay with him and she’s helping out as an excuse to stay a little longer but she doesn’t exactly want to leave him#but how do you tell someone that and ignore the big glaring part that she’s actually in love with him and the fact that they both survived#the war is getting her hopeful???? u want her to admit that?? like a normal person??? no..!!#so she’s just staying and helping out bc a) it’s the sensible thing to do b) so she can bask on the sun that is Jaime Lannister#for like a few more days. weeks. maybe a month bc the weather is soooo bad in the stormlands rn 🙄😳#anyway jb hanging out! and everything is going well and good but jaime is now getting popular w the people and he’s also looking quite#rugged and handsome post war now that he’s thirty flirty and thriving and he also has a new scar across his lip that makes his#smirks even more ! rogueish … ! and he looks quite nice with the greying hair 👀 so now there’s gossips around him#not to mention he’s single too and I think if you were one of the heroes who helped win the war they’ll forget the kingslaying#man with no honor business so lo and behold brienne eavesdrops a group of ladies bc she’s a chismosa at heart and they’re talking about a#potential marriage for a lord lannister (!!!) and there’s going to be a big tourney held in Kingslanding for it (!!!)#and brienne remembers jaime mentioning the ought to go to Kingslanding in the next few weeks (!!!) and now she’s remembering jaime IS a#lord though not theee lord of the westerlands STILL a lord from one of the seven houses and he’s single and very eligible for marriage rn#and now she’s realising everything is returning back the way it was before the war where society rules matters and she has her own role as#now the evenstar bc rip selwyn and jaime has his own role too and the court is a whole different battlefield#one that she isn’t equipped in and even though she had found some new confidence in herself bc killing a bunch of ice invisible zombies#with your own magic sword will do that for you she doesn’t think (and she’s being objective not negative) she stands a chance in THAT

In the Wine Cellar

word count: 1,845 words
You’re woken up in the dead of night by someone pounding on your bedroom door and you rub your tired eyes as you sit up in your bed. Who would possibly be calling on you this late?
“Who’s there?” You call out nervously, surely your guard wouldn’t have let anyone dangerous get to the door of your chambers.
“Sister…” Aegon’s voice is whiny and he’s clearly tipsy. All of your hesitance fades away but the annoyance sets in. You step out of bed, cringing at the feeling of the cold stone floor against your bare feet as you pad over to the door, opening it to reveal your smirking brother.
“I was sleeping, Aegon.” There’s an impish grin on his face as he takes in the sight of you. Your nightgown is less modest than some ladies would don and you can tell your dear brother quite appreciates it by the intense look in his eyes.
“What kind of proper lady goes to bed in such an immodest state? I am absolutely appalled. I should inform mother.” He leans against your doorframe as he speaks, a mocking look of shock on his face.
“What do you want?” You ask him with a roll of your eyes. He delights in how irritated you seem to be with him.
“Is there something wrong with me wanting to check in on my little sister?” He eyes you seductively, a hand coming up to twirl your hair around his finger.
“Mayhaps you should check in on your wife instead?” You flick his hand off.
“But you are the one who needs true tending to. A sweet rose like you needs to be watered so you may… bloom.” He sucks on his lower lip as his eyes fall to your breasts. You cross your arms to cover them from his hungry gaze.
“By water do you mean wine, brother?” You glare at him.
“Hm… that is a tantalizing thought…” His mouth twitches up slightly as he seems to be in deep thought. “... but I was thinking of my own personal version of hydration. A sweet nectar that can be applied to those soft lips of yours.”
“Leave now. I want to go to sleep.” You place a hand on his chest, pushing him back slightly.
“I know the perfect way to help you back to sleep, little rose. It’ll tire you out for sure.” The playful smirk never leaves his face as he gets closer. You can feel the heat of his breath on your face.
“There's no way in the Seven Hells that I am letting you into my room right now.”
“Even if I promised to be extra gentle?” He places a hand on your waist, nuzzling his face into your neck. “I’ve missed you.”
“No.” You put both hands on his chest and push him out but he grabs you by the waist and makes you leave the room with him.
“If I can’t come in then i’ll take you someplace else.” He says, taking you by the hand and dragging you along.
“Aegon, I don’t have shoes on!” He ignores your protests as he leads you through the castle. “Where are we even going?”
“My favourite place in the Red Keep.” He grins impishly as he takes you all the way down to… the wine cellar.
“Seriously? Mother will have a fit if she finds us here in the middle of the night.”
“Oh gods, when did you get so boring? Have a little fun for once.” He reaches up to grab two bottles of Arbour Red and hands one to you.
“You know that I hardly have a taste for wine.” You don’t take the bottle.
“C’mon just have a sip for your big brother.” He uncorks the first bottle and gives you his puppy dog eyes with a pout on his lips. “Just one little sip.” He brings the bottle up to your lips and you easily give in, parting your lips to let the crimson wine slip through. You don’t swallow though, not really liking the bitter taste on your tongue. “Now, swallow for me.” The look in his eyes tells you to obey so you swallow the wine, trying not to cringe. “There’s my good girl.” You try to move away but his grip on your hip keeps you pulled flush against him. He keeps pouring the wine down your throat, the bottle held to your lips like he’s feeding a babe. The wine dribbles down your chin and onto your chest as you finally push him off.
“You said a sip!” You wipe the wine off your chest as he brings a hand to your mouth, wiping the drink off your lip with his fingers before bringing them to his own mouth and sucking it off. He never breaks eye contact as he does.
“You can’t handle the taste, sweet rose?’ He takes a swig from the bottle before putting it down. “I can think of another kind of nectar that would help you bloom nicely.” His eyes darken as he presses himself against you. You step back but he just keeps stalking you until you’re cornered against the wall.
“Don’t be stupid.” You duck under his arm and make for the door but he catches you by the arm and he sits by the wine bottles, pulling you into his lap with him.
“Ugh.” You grunt as you squirm a little in his lap but you eventually stop, not truly wanting to leave his hold.
“Good girl. No need to put on a show for big brother. I know what you want.” He lifts the bottle to your lips and makes you drink more before bringing it to his lips and finishing it off. Your head is starting to feel a little cloudy at this point. He turns you a little so he can see your face. His fingertips brush lightly over your lips before they begin to trail down your throat to the swell of your chest. Your hand comes up to hold his, stopping the movement.
“You shouldn’t.”
“But I will.” He whispers these words in your ear as his hand slips under the top of your nightgown to grope your breasts. You can feel the heat of his breath on your neck before he begins to kiss you there; you feel dizzy. Your hands go up to push him away but you end up gripping his tunic instead. He licks up your neck a little and leaves a mark.
“A-Ah…” You moan a little from the combined sensations of him squeezing your breast and sucking on your neck.
“I knew you’d like it, little whore.” His other hand reaches up to grip your hair. “You want me to touch you…” He nips at your collarbone. “... taste you.” The hand that was on your chest reaches up to the strap of your nightgown. He brings his lips to yours in a messy kiss to distract you from him slipping the strap off your shoulder. The hand that was in your hair does the same thing to the other side. You gasp, feeling the cool air on your bare skin as the nightgown falls to your hips. You break the kiss.
“Aegon!” You chastise him as you bring your hands up to cover your naked breasts.
“It’s fine. Be a good girl and move your arms.”
“You’ll ruin me for my future husband.” You glare at him through your drunken haze.
“You’ll never have a husband that’ll make you feel the way that I do right now.” He grabs your wrists and leans in to whisper in your ear. “Let me give you a night to remember.” He nips at your ear. “Let me be your first.” You think for a moment before lifting your hands to his tunic… you begin to unbutton it. He grins. “My naughty little rose.” He undoes his trousers and you pull his tunic off.
“I hate you.” Your words are a little slurred.
“You love me.” He takes your lips with his for another sloppy kiss. He forces his tongue into your mouth before laying you back against the cold cellar floor. He pins his hands above your head so he can finally get a good look at your breasts. “Such perfect fucking tits.” You blush at the lewdness of it all as his mouth moves to your chest. He circles your nipple with his tongue and leaves little love bites all over before he switches to sucking on the other.
“Mmm…” You moan and he lifts his head up to give you another kiss.
“Let’s get the rest of this off, shall we?” He tugs your nightgown off the rest of the way, taking your smallclothes with it. “Look at this tight little cunt.” He gives you a light smack, right on the pearl, and you squeal. “Sorry.” He says, not really meaning it.
He removes his cock from his trousers and your eyes widen at the sight.
“It’s… large.” You bite your lip.
“You’ll love it.”he smirks as he spreads your legs open a bit more and begins to rub his length along your slit, coating it in your arousal. “You’re so fucking wet that it’ll just slip right it.” You blush once more and he laughs before kissing you again, sheathing himself inside your cunny. He gives you a little chance to adjust before beginning to slide himself in and out.
“Oh gods.” You whimper as he hits that sweet spot.
“I told you you’d love it.” He begins to quicken his pace and groans a bit as you squeeze around him. “You’re so tight.” He grunts. “I wanna keep this tiny cunny all to myself.” His thrusts get rougher as he gets lost in the pleasure.
“H-Harder.” You whine and he grins before beginning to piston in and out of you, his hips slapping against yours at a brutal pace. “Fuck.” You moan as his fingers come down to rub your pearl.
“I want to feel you cum around me, little sister. Cum around my cock as I ruin you for every other man.” His cock continues to slam into you as you reach your peak, the waves of pleasure washing over you. He fucks you through your high and then some as he begins to overstimulate you.
“No… no more.” You beg for mercy as his ruthless pace continues.
“Don’t be selfish.” He scolds as he chases his high. You whine as he keeps fucking into you, the pleasure being too much to handle after your peak. He lets you suffer a bit before he finally gets close. You sigh in relief as he finally pulls out and releases his spend onto your stomach. You both just catch your breath for a moment before he lays on his back next to you and pulls you into his side. “Good job.” He mumbles as you rest your head on his chest.
The sight of the two of you sure gives some serving boy a fright the next morning.

Ello!!
So this is for Quiet. Where after a smooth mission is over, Price decides it’s a good idea for the 141 to go to a bar and wind down. They all carpool (could you imagine how cramped that would be lol) and arrive, taking seats at the front.
Now they are all wearing normal clothing, aside from ghost, wearing that hoodie/jacket with the skull balaclava. And soon enough the drinks start rolling in.
I can literally see Quiet practically barricaded/sandwiched in between Ghost and Soap. Because they’re big guys and she’s small. So while the rest of the 141 are having their fun, Quiet leaves to go to the bathroom and when she starts to make her way back, some idiot tries to flirt with her and “take her home” if you know my meaning. She’s not having it and declines shaking her head but the guy is persistent and not leaving her be.
And ghost notices…
You always send me the best prompt for this series @thedevillovesflowers ❤️ SO sorry this took me forever, this is a little short just because I was struggling but I hope you like it
Hoping to slowly get back into this series I have a couple ideas
Quiet Series
You were persistent. It was in your job to be especially when you were someone who had to wait hours in the same spot for your target before you could do anything. But right now your patience was wearing thin by the second.
It was meant to be just a nice night out at the pub. It had been a long time since you and the 141 had the chance to relax, so Price offered to take everyone to the pub for a couple drinks and food.
It had been nice. You always loved hanging out with the boys, even if they got on your nerves, and doing it off the clock was nice since you didn't have to worry about getting shot at. They included you too, of course they did, because while Price had put you on the team just almost a year ago, it felt like you had been there since the beginning.
You had been stuck in between Soap and Ghost, smushed against Ghost more since Soap was so animated and enjoyed the company.
You blamed the warm fuzzy feeling on the few drinks you had rather than being pressed against your lieutenant, not having the energy to unpack those feelings at the moment. Eventually you had to use the bathroom and though you regrettably had to move away from his warmth, you didn't miss the way his dark eyes followed you.
But now you were here, unable to get back to him because a rather unattractive man stood in your way.
He was trying to get you to come home with him but after you had shook your head no multiple times he just didn't get it.
"You don't have to be shy, tell me why not." He said but you shook your head again.
You would try to sign to him but you don't think he knows ASL or that he would even realize you were mute. You wanted to just walk past him but there was limited space and you didn't want to be touched by any part of him.
"C'mon, I like a mysterious lady and you can tell me all about your scars-"
Your patience was gone.
You huffed, rolling your eyes and tried to step past him but he grabbed your arm. You nearly slapped him before you felt a familiar presence.
"She said no, mate. Leave it." Ghost's voice was rougher than usual but just as serious as always, maybe even more so like he was scolding a recruit.
He glared at the man and pushed himself in between the two of you. He didn't need to do anything else as the man grumbled and scurried off, leaving the pub without further incident.
"Alright?" Ghost turned to you and you gave him a small smile.
"Yeah..." You signed, trying not to let the interaction ruin your night.
"Let's take a walk."
You gladly followed him out of the pub and once you were outside, you couldn't help but lean against him. You expected him to pull away but he instead he gently pulled you closer.
That warm fuzzy feeling came back when he wrapped an arm around your shoulder as you began your walk and it was hard to ignore it or place the blame on anything else.
At least out here you could lean on him without worrying what the others or anyone else would think.
"You should've told him off." Ghost grumbled. "Bastard would've ran if he knew how scary you are."
You snorted but shook your head.
"It's not like he would've understood anyway" You signed and you saw the annoyance in his eyes, not at you but at the man. "Don't let it bother you, he's unimportant."
"Should be saying that to you." He signed back and you smiled.
"It's okay. No sense in getting mad at what I can't control, right?"
You know he's smiling under his mask when you see the corner of his eyes crinkle. Your face heats up when he tightens his hold around your shoulders.
"Atta girl."
A/n: slowly getting back into this hopefully Ghost isn't ooc, he's a little different that roommate!simon here atm but he'll get there

Rengoku X Reader X Uzui Part 3
Disclaimer : Smut. Threesome. Fem Reader. Uzui and Rengoku being jealous and possessive. Slight humiliation. Vaginal and anal sex.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was just a regular day, you spending lunch with Rengoku and Uzui at a local restaurant. You chatted while you ate the food, Rengoku sitting beside you while Uzui sat opposite, enjoying your time together.
But just as Rengoku was lovingly feeding you some rice, a familiar voice called out as she stopped by the table. You looked up and hiccuped as you made eye contact with your best friend, a beautiful and strong young woman who was also a demon slayer and your closest companion.
"Well, isn't this interesting?" she said with a sly smirk as she looked between the three of you, Rengoku's chopsticks still in your mouth, "So, which one of you would like to explain?"
Which is how you found yourself sitting beside your best friend with your lovers opposite to you, face red as you explained the situation to her. You didn't want to make a big deal out of being in a relationship with two Hashira's- especially when you don't know where it's going- plus all the rumors and gossip that will spread around if people found out- it was too much of a hassle.
They had specifically chosen this restaurant as it was usually empty at this time of the day, but it seemed like the universe had other plans.
"Listen," your friend said, waving away your embarrassment, "having two Hashira's fall for you is basically winning the lottery and I'm sure you know that too. As long as you're all happy, that's what matters. And don't worry, my lips are sealed."
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." you said, feeling a but guilty but once again, she dismissed it.
"I understand why you kept it a secret," she said, "I'm just glad you're with two very nice men this time and didn't choose someone like Misato again."
"Misato?" Uzui repeated, raising an eyebrow, eyes shooting over to look at you "your friend? The one you go on missions with?"
"You two were together?" Rengoku asked, a frown on his face.
"No!" you said, quickly squashing the confusion, "we were never together. I don't know what she's talking about-"
"Yeah but you had the biggest crush on him!" your friend said, either not noticing or ignoring the look you gave her of the silent plea to stop talking, "You liked him so much- it was honestly kind of embarrassing."
"Really?" Uzui asked, leaning forward seemingly intrigued but you could tell that there was a bit more to his interest, "Tell us more."
"Well- ow!" your friend suddenly yelped as you stepped on her foot underneath the table, hissing from the pain, "you bitch! why'd you do that?"
"I didn't do shit." you said, trying your best to gaslight as you picked up some fruit with your chopsticks and shoved it in her mouth, "You're just imagining things cause you're hungry. Here- keep eating-"
"Mmph!" your friend whined in frustration as you kept shoving food in her mouth, smacking your hand away as she struggled to chew. "Don't be embawassed-" she said, slurring her words as she gulped down the food, "we have all have at least one person we shouldn't have fallen for."
"Yeah honey, don't be embarrassed." Rengoku said with a monotone voice that it made you hiccup, "Please, Give us the details. And don't interrupt her." he said, shooting you a glare that made you shrink down.
"He's a nice guy," your friend said, defending him, "Just that he isn't the best at relationships and he knowingly strung her along for the fun of it. He says he's not ready for commitment but I guess he liked the attention."
"But she," your friend continued, gesturing to you with a teasing grin, "was so in love with him that it took her awhile to notice the red flags. Guess she thought she could change him if she stuck by his side but, it didn't work."
"I see..." Uzui said, folding his arms over his chest before he addressed you, "And you're still friends with this guy?"
"Well...yeah." you said, feeling embarrassed and guilty for some reason, "Like she said, he's a nice guy when he's just your friend. He's strong and very dedicated to helping people. But I stopped having a crush on him when I realized he was purposefully leading me on and wasn't taking me seriously- or seemed to care about my feelings."
"Doesn't seem like he got the memo, though." Your friend said with a roll of her eyes, "he keeps asking about you when I talk to him."
"Really?" you asked with perhaps too much curiosity considering the glare both Uzui and Rengoku sent you way, making you cough and correct yourself, "I mean- that's surprising."
"I think he misses the attention you gave him," your friend said, "Distance makes the heart grow fonder, as they say. I guess not going on missions with him for awhile made him realize he missed your company. At least, now I know why you weren't going with him." she smiled over at your two men, their expressions softening at the comment.
"So when did all this happen?" Rengoku asked.
"Oh pssht-" you babbled, "It's been a really long time- what like- a few years-"
"It's been a couple of months." your friend answered, ignoring your glare and this time, you couldn't really kick her feet for it lest your men get even more annoyed at you.
"Oh, so fairly recent." Uzui said, raising his eyebrows, "And how often does she go on missions with him?"
"Every other day." she said with a shrug, not realizing the predicament she was putting you in. The men managed to conceal their emotions very well, but you could see the slight twitch of the eye and the minuscule scowl on the face.
"But! It's important to note that I don't go on missions with him that often anymore," you said, "Remember? You even said he's noticed my absence."
"Yeah cause you went from going with him four to five times a week to once a week."
Rengoku gripped his chopsticks a touch too tightly while Uzui let out a soft scoff, pondering. "That's still quite frequent." he said, leveling you with a glare. You gulped, feeling guilty. like you had cheated on them even though you know you did nothing wrong.
"Oh! Would you look at the time." your friend said, glancing at the nearby clock, "I have to leave now. I actually came here just to have a quick snack and since you so lovingly fed me," she rolled her eyes at you teasingly, "I'll have to go now. Let's all get together again if you want more embarrassing stories about this one." she teased, elbowing you before getting up.
"Be careful." you said with a scowl, sending her a telepathic message that you were gonna beat her up later, a message she happily ignored. With a wave goodbye, she skipped out of the restaurant, leaving you in the wake of her destruction.
An awkward silence fell across the table, no one saying anything. You looked around, nervous and awkward before picking up the chopsticks and poking at your food. "It's gone cold..." you said silently.
"So...you frequently go on missions with the guy you were in love with who has now, apparently, fallen for you." Uzui said, recollecting the points.
"Wh- ok- it sounds bad when you say it like that..." you defended.
"How else would you say it?" Rengoku asked, elbows on the table as he leaned forward.
"Just...two friends going on missions together?"
"But you're not just 'friends' are you?"
"Sure we are! I'm not interested in him."
"But he's interested in you."
"Ok well I know that now..." you mumbled, "but that is also just speculation..."
Uzui suddenly straightened up, "You have a mission tonight and you said you're going with a friend. It's with him, isn't it?"
"...no."
Both of them gave you a look that clearly conveyed that it would be in your best interest not to lie.
"...yeah."
"And you didn't tell us about this because...?" Rengoku prodded.
"I don't know..." you said with a shrug, "I didn't think it was important. It's all in the past."
"Hmph." Uzui said with a grunt, "so you're still going on this mission with him?"
"Well, I can't cancel on him now..." you said with a pout before letting out a huff, "Can we drop this please? I'm going on a dangerous missions and I don't want to fight before I leave..."
The two men looked at each other before letting out a sigh. Uzui reached his hand out to grab yours gently, raising it to press a kiss against your fingers.
"Alright, darling." Rengoku said, "We'll talk about this later."
But what you didn't know was that later was going to come far too quickly~
"Wait- boys- Mmph!"
Your protest got muffled down by Uzui shoving his tongue down your throat, the man greedily kissing you, strong hand on your jaw to keep you in place.
"Mm- I have to- mmph- I have to get ready-" you tried to say, breaking the kiss only for him to keep chasing your lips, not giving you the time to even finish a full sentence.
Rengoku was nibbling on your neck from behind you, grunting as he finally undid your uniform and ripped your shirt off of you, the fabric dropping to the floor. You gasp as his hands cupped your bra covered chest, your body shivering as he bit down on a sensitive spot on your neck.
"Boys- Mmph- please!" you say in frustration, pulling away from the kiss again and this time, not allowing Uzui to kiss you again until you spoke, "I have to leave soon! I don't have time for this!"
"You still have ten minutes." Uzui said, hand traveling to your back to undo your bra, Rengoku ripping it off of you once he did before groping your bare tits, "We'd better be quick."
"That- ah!" you gasped as the flame Hashira started teasing your sensitive nipples, his fingers rubbing the buds in circles to harden before he grasped them between his thumb and forefinger and started to tweak them, your back arching against him as he did. You could feel his hardness press against your ass, the man still mouthing at your neck greedily.
Uzui got on his knees, desperately tugging at the belt of your uniform pants, getting it off of you in seconds before he got to work on unbuttoning it. Your pants bunched up at your feet, Uzui getting you to step out of them and throwing them aside, leaving you in your panties which you knew weren't going to stay on your for any longer.
You looked to your side at the mirror you were standing in front of to check your uniform, having just been relaxing in your room with your two lovers before they decided to pounce on you, and you noticed the hickies Rengoku was leaving on you.
"Rengoku-san!" you whined, bunching up your shoulders to push your partner away from your neck, the man letting out a growl of frustration as you did, "N-no marks!"
"Your uniform will cover them up anyway." was all he said, giving your tit a slap before greedily going back to your neck, mouthing at your sensitive spots once more. Uzui kissed your clothed mound before swiftly taking your panties off, leaving you completely naked for them. He groaned as he stuffed his face between your legs, tongue peeking out to lick at your pussy. You gasped, tossing your head back as he focused on your clit, sucking in your sensitive little bud.
"Lie down baby." Uzui said, separating himself to guide you towards your futon. Having no desire to stop them, you lied down on the futon, whining as Uzui immediately pushed your legs upto your chest. He groaned as he went back to mouthing at your pussy, having more freedom to really work his tongue on your dripping cunt. Your moans were swallowed by Rengoku, the man leaning down to slot his lips against yours, messily kissing you.
"Fuck- going to fuck you now, sweetheart." Uzui said, pushing himself up to tug at his pants. Since they had to finish quickly, he unfortunately didn't have the time to eat you out till you came in his mouth so he'll have to finish that up some other time.
You held your legs up for him, keeping them folded and spread, attention still diverted to Rengoku shoving his tongue down your throat when you felt Uzui's fat cock slap against your pussy, making you jump. The man licked his lips as he teased you, running his cock up and down between your folds, his member getting coated with a layer of your slick, growing harder against you.
Rengoku placed another kiss to your lips before he pulled away, caressing your face lovingly as he asked: "Where's the lube, baby?"
"I-In the drawer."
The flame Hashira got up and went to said furniture, opening it and rummaging around before he found it. He quickly walked back, smirking at your frustrated expression as Uzui simply grounded his cock-head against your clit.
"Make her ride you." Rengoku said, "I want to work open her ass."
You blushed at how shamelessly your lover said that, body trembling as you got prepared for what Rengoku was going to do. "You heard the man." Uzui said, grabbing your hips and manhandling you so easily, someone could mistake you for being the weight of paper. You wound up lying on top of the large man, Uzui lying down comfortably with you on his chest and his cock throbbing between your legs.
Rengoku gave your butt a firm spank before he grabbed your ass cheeks and spread them apart, leaning down and giving your back entrance a greedy lick. "Ah!" You squealed, body shivering from the hot, wet contact. You had done anal only once before, so the sensation of anything back there was still foreign to you.
"Get my cock in you." Uzui ordered, waiting patiently as your hand slid between the two of you and grasped his hard, throbbing member. Your mouth salivated at how you couldn't wrap your fingers around his cock, his girth always taking your breath away before you pressed him against your eager, wet hole. Your pussy was even more lubricated considering the saliva on your ass that was dripping down to your cunt from Rengoku eating you out, so the slide inside you was smoother than usual.
Both you and Uzui moaned simultaneously, your eyes rolling to the back of your head as his member stretched you out, splitting your poor pussy deliciously. His hands tightened around your hips, the man hissing between his teeth as your velvet, wet cunt surrounded him, squeezing him perfectly.
"Good girl. Good- fucking girl- that's it!" Uzui groaned, helping you take him inch by inch. Despite the countless times you all had sex, it still took some effort for you to take his cock. It didn't help that your pussy was clamping down on him all the more harder due to Rengoku eating your ass.
With another messy lick, the blonde haired man separated from your ass, smirking at how Uzui was now balls deep inside of you before he opened the bottle of lube and generously coated his finger with it. He gently pressed said finger against your hole, running it in circles over your rim to rub the lube in before gently pushing it into your hole. You squealed, tossing your head back at the insertion, making your head feel loopy.
"Just relax, darling." Rengoku said, lightly thrusting his finger in and out, working you open, "you're too tight."
"I'm t-trying!"
"Well, try harder."
It didn't help that this was when Uzui started moving, making you yelp as he couldn't hold himself back anymore. His strong legs pressed against the futon, he lifted his hips up and down to start fucking you from underneath, the slide of his fat cock inside you taking your breath away.
"That's it- good fucking girl- taking us so well, hmm?" Uzui groaned into your ear, hips thrusting into you desperately, your pussy squeezing his cock deliciously. Your slick dripped down his balls, soiling him in the process and it was so filthy, you felt him grow even harder inside you.
"Your ass feels so good, darling~" Rengoku said from behind you, having worked upto two fingers inside your ass, more comfortably stretching you open, biceps flexed as he fingered you, "fuck- you're so hot like this!"
You couldn't even say anything, your mouth open in a perpetual moan as your men took you so passionately. You felt full beyond belief, your cunt and ass stretched to accommodate them, both of them working together to make you crazy from the pleasure. If this was how good it felt with just fingers in your ass, you shuddered to think of how it would feel having Rengoku's cock in you. You held onto Uzui for dear life as they pounded you mercilessly, your ass jiggling with each thrust, your toes curling and eyes rolling to the back of your head as you were assaulted with pleasure. You pushed yourself up on your hands using the wind pillar's body as support, no longer lying down chest to chest with him and the new position drove his cock deeper inside you, making him groan.
Uzui was moaning underneath you, cock pumping against your womb hungrily as he chased his pleasure, balls clapping against your cunt. Rengoku could feel his cock going in and out of you and it was strange but exciting. The room was filled with the sounds of moaning and slick skin slapping against each other.
"Baby," Regoku groaned, gently pulling his fingers out of you before unbuttoning his pants and getting his cock out, "Gonna fuck you now, OK?"
"Mmhmm!" You mewled, nodding desperately as Uzui picked up the pace, fucking you so deliciously, "P-Please- I need you!"
Rengoku licked his lips in excitement as he generously lubed up his cock, lathering it before pressing his cockhead against your ass. He got you to stop bouncing, making Uzui growl in annoyance but he held you still, allowing Rengoku to take the time he needed to make sure he took this slowly and safely.
Everyone's heart was beating faster and faster as Rengoku started to push, his cockhead popping inside you, making you shudder at the intrusive feeling. He kept pushing in more and more, stretching your ass out so wonderfully. Uzui swore underneath you, Regoku's cock making your pussy even tighter and it took all his willpower to not cum immediately.
"Fuck- that's it- good girl- almost- fuck! There we go~" Rengoku cursed, giving your ass cheeks a greedy squeeze as he bottomed out. Your fingers dug into Uzui's skin, your mouth open in a perpetual moan as you got used to the feeling, eyebrows furrowed and tears in your eyes as your body was stretched beyond belief. Uzui raised a hand to wipe away a tear before stuffing the same thumb into your mouth, making you moan around it as you sucked.
"Going to move now, ok baby?" Rengoku asked, sweat on his brow as your tight ass squeezed him more than he could handle but he managed to hold himself together. No way was he going to cum before they made you cry from pleasure.
You tried to beg Regoku to move but your words were muffled and slurred by Uzui's thumb in your mouth, the man shoving it as deep as it could go but your whines and garbles were enough for Rengoku to know you were ready for him. Taking a deep breath, a gentle kiss to your shoulder, Rengoku got ready to move-
When there was a knock on the door.
"Hey, it's me. You in here?"
Oh fuck. it was Misato. your mind went for a spin, making you feel dizzy from the sudden interruption in your already overwhelming situation. You tapped onto your men's arms, desperately and silently asking them to stop, Uzui taking his thumb out of your mouth. You put a finger to your lips, signaling to your men to stay silent, heart pounding as you hoped if you were all quiet, he would just leave.
"I know you're in there. I can see your shadow through the door."
You silently cursed as you looked down and sure enough, your fuck pile was casting a shadow below the door that would be noticeable from the other side.
"Just- give me a minute!" you called out, whining in frustration as you whispered for the men to pull out of you. Again, they complied without any fuss but you were so panicked in your situation that you failed to notice the look they gave each other. You hopped up onto your feet, your men doing the same.
"We're running late, you know." Misato called out, "What happened? You're always on time."
"I- uh..." you stammered, forgoing underwear as you simply pulled your pants up before shrugging on your top and messily buttoning it up, "Lost track of time."
"That isn't like you."
"Yeah well..." you said, grabbing your Haori and draping it on your shoulders, praying that the fabric will be enough to cover up your hard nipples peeking through your uniform, "Happens to the best of us."
You quietly shooed Uzui and Rengoku to the corner of the room far away from the view of the door, their cocks still comically hard and wet but you unfortunately couldn't help them. They gave you an unamused glare but you quickly gave them both a kiss on the lips.
"I'll make it upto you, I promise." you said before quickly skipping to the door.
"About time- woah." Misato said as he looked you up and down, "What happened to you?"
"Hahaha..." you laughed awkwardly, tugging your haori around you tighter, no doubt looking like a mess. Your hair was wild, your lips plump and red and not to mention the blush and sweat on your face.
"I uh...almost drowned in the bath." you lied on your feet, trying to come up with something.
"What?!" Misato barked, "Are you OK? How did that happen?"
"Just, you know, super tired these days and the bath was so relaxing I kind of fell asleep- it happens. But it doesn't matter- I'm perfectly fine!"
"If you say so...anyway, you ready to leave?"
"Could you uh..." you looked down at your uniform, clearly needing a retouch, "Could give me a minute?"
"Sure thing. But don't take too long, alright?"
But jst as Misato was about to ruffle your hair, a voice suddenly popped up :
"Baby, are you done? Come back to bed."
You yelped as Uzui suddenly walked into frame, making your breath catch in your throat as he wrapped an arm around your shoulder, pulling you into his side as he leaned down to snuggle his face into your hair. He was thankfully wearing pants, privates hidden but he was shirtless, showing off his incredible physique.
"How long are you going to keep me waiting, darling?" he asked, placing a kiss into your hair.
"Uzu- you- what- you-" you sputtered, blood rushing to your face so fast it made you dizzy, your brain short-fusing at the sudden situation.
"Oh, hello." Uzui said, chuckling at your failure to make words as he focused on your friend, "I didn't realize you were still here. Who are you again?"
Misato snapped out of his trance, the man shocked into silence the second he saw a Hashira appear out of nowhere.
"I'm Uzui Tengen." the sound Hashira said, introducing himself, "but I'm sure you already knew that."
"Y-Yes sir! M-My name is Misato. It's an honor to meet you Sir!" Misato yelped, bowing respectfully before slowly straightening himself up, eyes wide in shock, "B-but may I ask what you're doing in her room-"
"You're a big boy, I'm sure you can figure it out." Uzui said, moving to stand behind you to wrap his arms around your waist, hugging you before he leaned down and placed a kiss to the top of your head, ignoring how beet red your face was.
"That's- you're-" Misato sputtered, his own face turning red as his eyes jumped between you and Uzui. "U-Uzui-san!" you snapped, feeling your gut churn over the situation. You had wanted to tell Misato about them - but not like this!
But before you could say anything, Rengoku's hand shot out to grip your chin, turning your face towards him before he kissed you, swallowing down your yelp. Just as shirtless and sweaty with his pants riding low on his hip and doing a poor job of concealing his erection, it was very clear that he too was involved in your adult activities. Misato jumped, eyes as wide as dinner plates as he watched the flame Hashira kiss you, his brain taking awhile to compute.
"R-Rengoku-san is here too-?"
"Oh, excuse me." Rengoku said with a smile on his face once he pulled away from you, "I didn't realize you were still here and I showed you something quite shameful. My apologies." You slapped your hands over your face, too embarrassed to even get a word out, face so red you felt like steam was leaking from your ears.
"N-No it's o-okay." Misato said, how eyes now jumping between all three of you, connecting the dots, "So you're with t-two men-"
"Sorry- why are you here, exactly?" Rengoku asked, pretending like he didn't know, "I don't mean to be rude but we weren't expecting any...interruptions."
"Ah- uh...we-we're supposed to be leaving to do a mission together...Sir." Misato explained. He looked like he wanted to run away but he also knew he couldn't do that without being dismissed by the Hashira as it would be incredibly disrespectful.
"Oh, a mission?" Uzui repeated, pretending like he didn't know about it, "she didn't say anything about a mission. Guess she must have forgotten about it." his arms tightened around your waist, giving you a silent command to not say anything, both of them on a mission of their own to let the guy know you weren't thinking about him- that he was forgettable to you.
"But as you can see, we're quite busy at the moment..." Uzui pondered, "So I'm sure you can find someone else to replace her for tonight?"
"That's-"
"I know quite a few people who are free and who'd be happy to assist you." Rengoku said, cutting off any protest Misato might have, giving him the names, "Just tell them I asked them to help you and they'll understand."
"...okay." Misato said, sounding embarrassed and defeated, eyes flicking over to you but you couldn't see him as you were still covering your face with your hands, "I guess...I'll see you later..."
"Great." Uzui said with a smile, "Now if you'll excuse us~"
With a bright and cheerful smile, Rengoku closed the door on Misato's face.
"Oh my god- oh my god- oh my god- oh my god-" you sputtered like a broken record, your face completely red as you processed the situation, a mix of concerned and turned on as you barely registered the fact that Uzui had picked you up easily and deposited you back onto your futon, "I-I can't believe you guys just did that- ah!"
You yelped as Rengoku got you on your stomach, pulled both of your pants down and quickly slid back into your ass, taking your breath away. He growled as he didn't start slow this time- both of you still lubed up and ready- as he immediately thrusted into you over and over again. "It seemed like the both of you-" he growled, happy to be back inside you, "Needed a lesson on who you belong to." "Indeed." Uzui said, grabbing a nice fistful of your hair in one hand "Now he knows you're off limits."
"I-I was gonna t-tell him anyway!" you said, squealing as Uzui tightened his grip on your hair, "that was so f-fucking embarrassing-"
"Yeah? Then why are you moaning so much? Hmm?" Rengoku asked, reeling a hand back and giving you ass a nice spank, making you squeal, a hand print left behind on your skin, "don't want to be humiliated? They maybe don't enjoy it so fucking much."
You whined in frustration, barely able to piece together a sentence as Rengoku fucked our ass with reckless abandon, the man's growls so sexy it made your pussy weep. A part of you was horrified that your close friend saw your situation, but another part of you really loved how possessive they were of you.
"Who do you belong to?" Uzui asked as he pulled you hair, making you get on your hands and knees, back arching, "Say it."
"I-I belong to you t-two!" you whimpered, Rengoku's cock fucking you so good it took you a few seconds to even respond.
"Say it louder." Uzui ordered, smacking your bouncing tits.
"I belong to the b-both of you!" you said, loud enough that you knew if Misato was still outside, he'd hear you, "I'm yours- I'm y-yours!"
"You better fucking remember it." Uzui snarled, his other hand ripping his pants open to fish his cock out, "Our pretty little wife- you really think we'd let some other man even think he has a chance with you?"
"You're so gorgeous and smart and strong- we need to make sure- fuck that's tight- make sure others know you're off limits now." Rengoku said, leaning over you to press his chest against your back to growl into your ear, "you belong to us and only us. Understand?"
"I- I- I understand!" you squealed, tears in your eyes over how intense the situation was, "I get it- please- I need you b-both-"
"Careful what you wish for, angel." Uzui said, using the grip he had on your hair to direct you towards his cock, fat member pressed against your face, giving your cheek a couple of smacks before pressing it against your lips, "We need to make sure this lesson really sticks. You're not sleeping tonight."
~~~~~
"Woah. I'm guessing last night was really tough, huh?" your best friend asked, looking you up and down as you sat opposite to her for lunch. No doubt you looked exhausted to her. You hissed as your butt made contact with the chair, pushing yourself up only to slowly seat yourself back down.
"...I blame you." you snarled, placing your plate of food on the table.
"Me?" she asked, confused, "what did I do??"
"It's because of you that I had to deal with two demons on my own."
"Two demons?! On your own?! Was that why Misato was sulking so much? Did the mission go that badly?"
"Mission? What mission?"
"What?"
"Huh?"
Tumblr media
Chapter Summary: Steve and you are finally officially dating, the kids are finally in high school and no longer need any sort of official babysitting, and life is overall pretty damn good. You try to push aside the unease settling in your chest, but how long can you ignore it before it manifests into something much worse than you could possibly imagine.
Content Warning: swearing, bullying, trauma responses, intimacy
Word Count: 6.7k
Author’s Note: Sorry this took me longer to get out than some of the previous chapters. Life has been a bit hectic to say the very least (my brother low key got robbed and I was helping him sort some of it out), but I’m glad I was finally able to get this done! I’m looking forward to writing more of season 4!
Message me to be added to the taglist! Also, please send me asks! I love talking to you guys, so even if you want to tell me about something as mundane as what you had for breakfast, I’m happy to hear it :)
Series Masterlist | Part 10 | Next Part
***
Spring break started soon, and despite having graduated and gotten out of the shit hole that is Hawkins High, Steve still drove you and Robin to school. You hadn’t stayed the night last night at Steve’s so you slid into the backseat behind him as you got in the car. Even though you were halfway through second semester, you still weren’t used to Steve not being there to walk you to your first period every morning like he had the year before.
Of course, you stepped right into the middle of an argument between your boyfriend and your best friend. At least they aren’t shoving each other like toddlers this time, you thought as you rolled your eyes and buckled your seatbelt.
“Cut me some slack, please! It is 7:00 in the morning, we have the stupid pep rally, and I woke up looking like a total corpse!” Robin shouted, pushing the skin on her face around as she looked in the visor mirror.
“Oh, you’re worried about a basketball pep rally? You expect me to believe that?” Steve shot back.
“Yeah? So?” Robin’s voice got small as she anticipated the trajectory of this conversation.
“So, we both know what this is about, okay? I’m not buying that bullshit, this is about Vickie!”
“Absolutely not!” Robin defended herself. You scoffed from the back seat, not believing a word of her lie as Steve spoke up again.
“It is, and you know what else?”
“Uh, I really don’t care,” Robin rolled her eyes while she continued to put on her lip balm.
“You gotta stop pretending to be someone else when you’re around her, okay? You just gotta—you just gotta be yourself,” Steve tried to give her a pep talk and you gaped from the backseat before chiming in.
“You do realize you are literally quoting her to her, right?”
“Hey, you stay out of this, and besides, maybe she needs to listen to herself,” Steve glared at you in the rearview mirror before turning back towards Robin, “ever think about that, smartypants? I listened to you and now look at me. Boom. Back in business.” He gestured back towards you as he said it and you rolled your eyes. You were, however, grateful that Robin had gotten involved because you didn’t know how much longer you could take Steve not making a move last summer.
“It’s not the same thing, okay. You ask out a girl like y/n and she says no, big deal. Nothing happens—”
Steve cut her off immediately, “what do you mean ‘nothing happens’? In that hypothetical I lose the love of my life, so yeah that’s a pretty big mother fucking deal!”
“For the sake of the hypothetical—“ Robin began again, “—maybe your ego’s a little bit bruised…but I ask out the wrong girl, and bam! I’m a town pariah.”
“Yeah, I’d buy that, except Vickie is definitely not the wrong girl,” you spoke up, leaning forward to feel more included in the conversation.
“We just don’t know that, do we?”
“She returned Fast Times paused at 53 minutes, 5 seconds,” Steve spoke up and you rolled your eyes, knowing exactly where his mind was going. “Do you know who pauses Fast Times at 53 minutes, 5 seconds? People who like boobies, Robin!”
“Ew!” You and Robin exclaimed in unison.
“Gross, don’t say boobies!” She scolded, causing the boy to just repeat himself like the immature idiot that he was.
“Boobies. Not a big deal, okay? I like boobies. You like boobies. Y/n has boobies—Vickie likes boobies! Definitely!”
“Hey, how about you not bring my tits into this?” You asked Steve, smacking his shoulder. “But I mean, I can’t disagree with him…Vickie definitely likes tits, I mean we have all the evidence,” you added as you turned toward Robin. She rolled her eyes and turned up the radio, deciding she was done with the conversation the three of you were having.
Steve pulled up to Hawkins High, parking briefly to let the two of you out. Before walking to the building you stopped at his door and he rolled the window down.
“Don’t go getting fired while I’m in class, okay?” You warned, smoothing out his vest that was wrinkled because often he couldn’t be bothered to iron it.
“I just wish you could be there, you know? The day just drags on and on and on when I’m working by myself, let alone when I have to work with Keith,” Steve responded, rolling his eyes. Since he had treated Jonathan so shitty when him and Nancy were together, Steve tried to move past the jealous side of himself, but now that he wasn’t even in school with you to see which assholes were hitting on you, it made turning over a new leaf all the more difficult.
“I know, but you are a grown ass adult and you can handle it. Besides, Robin and I will be there after school lets out, so you don’t have to miss me for too terribly long,” you reminded him, leaning into the car to place a gentle kiss on his lips. He smiled into it and you debated just getting back into his car so that you could make out in the break room at Family Video, but Robin’s voice rang out, causing you to jump and hit your head on the roof of the car.
“Hey shit birds, cool it with the PDA, we’re gonna be late,” Robin yelled out, and you grumbled, rubbing the back of your head as you moved away from Steve’s car to join her. You waved a goodbye to Steve as you bit back a smile before you turned and picked up the pace to join your friend.
You really hated pep rallies with the entirety of your being…and you knew that Robin would too if it weren’t for being in the band and getting to stand the whole time next to Vickie. You usually tried to stand next to the band so that you could at least talk to her, but your talk with Steve had slowed you down and the bleachers had filled up.
“Sorry! I can get Davis to try and get someone to move if you want me to. People usually listen to him because he’s borderline terrifying,” Robin apologized, gesturing behind her to the sousaphone player who was built like a tank. Hawkins High didn’t have football, otherwise you were nearly 1000% confident that he would’ve been goaded into joining the team.
“No, really it’s fine. Don’t worry about it,” you smiled at her and waved her on to go join Vickie in the stands. You started ascending the bleachers, trying to make your way to the back corner as you weaved through people who were cheering on the cheerleading squad (a bit redundant, you felt). Ever since you started dating Steve, you somehow became even less popular at school, which was a hard feat to accomplish. A lot of girls in your grade were still quite enamored with the boy and understandably disappointed that he was no longer available. As such, they quite deliberately chose to take it out on you.
Normally it didn’t really get to you, but recently it had been bothering you more. You had been used to it last year when you watched girls in the hall cast judgmental looks at you as Steve walked you to class…and that was before you were even officially an item. Now, without having Steve to be there to quell your nerves, you just felt lonely whenever Robin wasn’t around either to distract you from immature high school bullies.
You finally made it to the back corner of the bleachers, not without hearing some nasty comments directed at you. You sighed, crossing your arms and closing your eyes as you leaned against the wall.
“I take it you hate these things too?” A voice spoke up to ask you. You turned to see the familiar mop of long brown hair as you realized the voice belonged to Eddie Munson. You had never been in a class with him before this semester but you had become increasingly familiar with him due to the fact that Ms. O’Donell, your physics teacher, had desperately pleaded with you to tutor him so that he could graduate this year.
You had reluctantly agreed, mostly because you didn’t want to disappoint the poor woman, but it had been an exercise in frustration.
“Well, yeah, they aren’t my favorite. Especially since they’re typically full of people who somehow have a shit ton of school spirit but not even a modicum of decency and respect for me, so that is just…totally epic,” you rolled your eyes, frustrated with one classmate in particular, Claire, who had just tried to trip you on your way up the stairs.
“I studied by the way,” Eddie spoke up, when you looked at him with confusion, he continued, “for the physics quiz today? I studied for it.”
Suddenly, your face twisted in panic as you realized that you hadn’t. You’d been so busy with work and Steve and just trying to hold everything together that you had forgotten about the last assessment you had before going on spring break. “Fuck! I forgot about it.”
“Eh, you’ll do fine anyway,” Eddie replied nonchalantly. You were glad someone at least believed in you.
“Dustin’s still doing alright?” You asked the long haired boy beside you. Since Dustin was in high school now, he no longer needed a babysitter, and thus your career, in an official sense at least, had come to an end. You still saw him extremely regularly because Steve and him were still good friends, but you still worried about him. You knew he was a misfit, and being a misfit yourself it made you nervous that he had found himself in a crowd of…well, misfits. You didn’t want him to go through the same shit that you went through. You didn’t want him to be invisible like you.
“Henderson? He’s fucking awesome! Yeah, of course he’s fine,” Eddie replied, laughing as he shoved you in the shoulder. Even though everyone liked to talk about how much of a mess Eddie Munson was, you were glad that Ms. O’Donell’s arrangement had at least shown you that he wasn’t a bad guy. It was nice to have another friend at Hawkins High. “How’s Steve doing?” Eddie asked, not doing at great job at hiding his distaste for the graduate with the perfect hair.
You rolled your eyes at his tone before answering. “He’s great…I just thought dating the son of a bitch would mean that I’d get at least enough status here for people to not treat me like shit,” you chuckled.
Your conversation with Eddie fizzled out as the basketball team entered the gym. You couldn’t help but smile seeing Lucas on the court. He looked happy, so even though he was surrounded by meathead athletes, you couldn’t really be mad. You knew he was smart enough to make good decisions and he still had you all as a support group, so you tried to shove the worry down in your chest.
Jason Carver took the mic and began going on and on as he spoke. Though you really, really didn’t like the kid, you had to give him credit. He sure did know how to give a speech.
“…you know, I think I can speak for all of us when I say it’s been a tough year for Hawkins. So much loss. And sometimes I wonder, how much loss can one community take? In dark days like this, we need something to believe in. So last night, when we were down by ten points at half to Christian Academy, I looked at my team and I said think of Melissa. Think of Heather. Think of Billy. Think of our heroic police chief Jim Hopper. Think of each and every one of our friends who perished in that fire…”
That was when you stopped listening. Not a day went by that you didn’t think of the loss that you had faced. You didn’t need someone like Jason who didn’t know jack shit about loss to explain it to you. “I have to go,” you whispered to Eddie, and before he could respond, you slipped out of the bleachers, telling a teacher that you needed to use the restroom, and darting out the gym doors.
Robin noticed you leaving and quickly set her trumpet down, taking off her shako, which Vickie graciously took before darting down the hall after you.
“Y/n,” she yelled after you trying to catch up but you didn’t slow down, quickly evading her and turning a corner as you wiped tears from your eyes. “Y/n!”
She finally caught up to you, grabbing your wrist to stop you from running away from her. “What’s wrong?” She asked, eyes searching yours in an attempt to make sure you were okay.
“I don’t even know how to explain it,” you choked out, unable to keep your emotions at bay.
“Could you at least try?” Robin asked softly, running a hand up and down your arm to soothe the strong emotions you were feeling.
“I…I’m-I’m just tired of-of people like Jason trying to explain the loss to me. I get it! I know what it was like; I was there!” You stammered. Robin nodded, and you knew she understood what you were going through. You were eternally grateful that you had the support system that you had; you were never alone in your struggle which was both a blessing and a curse. You wouldn’t wish your experience with the supernatural on your worst enemy, so sometimes it was difficult to stomach the fact that your closest friends had experienced it alongside you.
“What can I do?” Robin asked, wanting nothing more than to make it better.
“I just…I think I need to leave,” you cried, wiping your eyes on your sleeve. Robin nodded, leading you out the doors of school to the pay phone right outside. Fortunately, with everyone tied up at the pep rally, there wasn’t anyone to stop the two of you as you put some coins in the telephone. Your fingers hesitated as you thought about who to call, finally settling before dialing the number.
After a couple rings, a familiar voice picked up. “Hello, this is Steve from Family Video, how can I help you today?”
“Steve,” you cried out and immediately he was on high alert.
“Y/n?! What’s wrong?! Are you okay? Where are you?”
“I-I’m at school, but-but I’m just…having one of those days you know?” Steve had been your rock through processing the trauma that your experiences with the Upside Down had brought you, so he very much understood that somedays were just too much for you.
“I need to talk to Keith really quickly, but then I’m going to come and pick you up, okay? You’re not by yourself, are you?” Steve asked, concern lacing his tone.
“No, Robin’s with me.”
“Good, good, good. Can you put her on the phone, baby?” Steve sounded frantic, and if you could have seen him, his anxious behaviors would have confirmed it. There he was, standing at the counter of Family Video, not even an hour into his shift when shit had to hit the fan. He ran his hands through his hair, trying to calm himself down, but knowing that you were upset was enough to keep him from being calm. There was a silence, before Robin’s voice rang out through the receiver.
“Hey.”
“How bad is she?” He cut to the chase.
“Um, I mean…you heard her,” Robin replied, speaking in vague terms so that you wouldn’t be offended by their conversation.
Steve sighed, jotting down a note on a piece of scratch paper, his version of “talking to Keith.” After he scribbled down the words, he refocused on the phone call. “Okay, Robin, here’s what you need to do. Take her to the nurse or something and find some way to get them to send her home. I don’t need her stressing about missing class unexcused, alright? You know how she is about that sort of stuff.”
“Got it. Just head out now, I should be able to get this sorted pretty quickly,” Robin confirmed, hanging up the phone and turning back to you. “Alright dingus number two, let’s get this all figured out.”
***
When Steve’s car pulled up, you felt relief flood your entire body. You wished that discussions of what happened last summer didn’t affect you as much as they did, but sometimes it all still caught you off guard.
The car halted to a stop as Steve quickly got out rushing over to you and scooping you into a tight hug. “Baby,” he whispered into your ear as you melted against him, tears soaking into his shirt.
“I’m sorry, Steve…I-I’m trying so hard, but then-then Jason started giving one of his dumbass speeches and I just lost it.”
“Shhhh, baby, it’s okay; you’re okay, I’m here now, alright?” Steve pulled away and put his hands on either side of your face to get you to look at him. There was so much sincerity in his eyes that it almost made you break all over again as you thought about how lucky you were to have him. “I’m gonna take you home, alright?”
You knew he was talking about his house, so you nodded. You thanked Robin and she gave you a weak smile before waving and walking back inside. You were grateful that she had stayed with you, but you felt bad that you had prevented her from spending time with Vickie. Steve opened the passenger door for you and once he was back in his seat, he started driving away from the hell hole that was Hawkins High.
“Steve, I really don’t want you to miss your shift,” you spoke up, looking at him innocently. He could just melt right there with the way that you looked at him.
“Y/n, don’t even worry about it, seriously. I’d much rather take care of you and make sure that you’re okay than be at that stupid job.”
“But Keith already kind of hates you…like a lot. I’ve got my uniform vest in my bag, let me just pick up a shift and I’ll work with you,” you offered. Steve looked at you hesitantly, but upon noticing the way that you had calmed down in his presence, he relented.
“Fine, but you’re not going to lift a finger while we’re working, okay? You’re just gonna sit there and look pretty and I’ll take care of everything,” he replied. He desperately wished he could lean over and kiss you right now but the last time he had tried to do that while driving, you’d scolded him and he almost crashed his BMW, so he decided that it wasn’t worth the risk…he had precious cargo.
You rolled your eyes and turned up the radio, biting back a smile. When you got to Family Video, you threw on your vest quickly, before you both entered the store. Keith stood scowling at the counter, holding up Steve’s sloppily handwritten note as if it was evidence in a crime, though to him it probably was.
“Dude, not cool.”
“Keith, did you even read the fucking note? Clearly it was an emergency,” Steve spat, as he gestured to you. He was tired of Keith being a complete ass all of the time.
“Y/n? Aren’t you supposed to be at school?” Keith asked, his demeanor suddenly drastically changing. Steve rolled his eyes and scoffed, knowing damn well that this dumbass had a fat crush on you.
“It’s a long story,” you sighed, “but I’m here and I’m willing to pick up an extra shift, so you can leave if you’d like.”
“You don’t have to tell me twice,” Keith spoke up, “but you better keep—“
“Keep an eye on him, make sure he doesn’t fuck up. Yeah, yeah, I know,” you sighed and Steve threw his hands up in exasperation. What the hell did I ever do to deserve this shit?
Keith exited the store, so now it was just you and Steve. Friday mornings at Family Video were usually pretty slow given the fact that most people were at work or school, so there really wasn’t much work to do.
“So, have you gotten any more acceptance letters?” Steve spoke up and asked as he began reorganizing one of the shelves. He held his breath as he waited for your answer. Though he wanted nothing more than for you to be able to attend the school of your dreams, he was afraid of what that meant for the two of you and your relationship.
“Yeah, a couple more actually,” you smiled up at Steve. You had a lot of the same fears that he did about the potential of moving away. It was scary to think about trying to stay together through that huge of a life change. And you knew that you would miss him like crazy. But Nancy and Jonathan are making it work, so of course you guys would be able to…right?
“Have you made any decisions yet?”
“Uh, no, not yet. I’m still waiting to get a few decisions back before I make one of my own,” you spoke up, your voice a little small. You weren’t going to tell Steve, but what you were really waiting on was your decision from Purdue. It was close enough that nothing would have to change. You could still see Steve whenever you wanted. You were neglecting to mention this to him, however, because you knew he constantly felt like he was holding you back. He didn’t want you to make your decision based on him, but you couldn’t help but take that into account.
These were the most stilted and awkward conversations the two of you had. You and Steve could talk for hours about really pretty much everything, but as soon as college came up, it was like your ability to effectively communicate went out the window.
It wasn’t long before the phone rang again, and you picked it up. “Hello, thank you for calling Family Video. I’m y/n, how can I help you?” Your retail voice spilled from your lips sweetly.
“Y/n, this is Dustin…Listen, Lucas has to play in the championship game tonight and we need another player for Hellfire tonight, so could you please, please, fill in for him? Just this once?” The boy begged.
“Um, absolutely not,” your customer service voice disappeared as soon as you knew who was on the other line. Dustin had roped you into playing D&D once before, feeling bad for the kids after Mike had come down with a bad cold and couldn’t play. First of all, Dustin had said it wouldn’t take long. Secondly, it had been the most miserable fourteen hours of your life, so there was no way in hell you were about to do it again.
Dustin started complaining over the phone, continuing to beg you to join, before you decided that you didn’t get paid enough for this shit, handing the phone off to Steve, saying “it’s for you.”
“Woah, woah, woah, cool off pipsqueak,” Steve sighed into the phone.
“Steve! Sweet, okay. Dude, I am about to offer you the most kick-ass opportunity that will ever get extended your direction. I mean, I’m talking immaculate storytelling, a badass group of people, more fun than you will ever have in your life. I’m talking—“
“Cut to the chase,” Steve cut the boy off and rolled his eyes.
“Right, yeah, okay. Lucas has to play basketball and we need an extra person for D&D tonight,” Dustin sighed, sounding a bit defeated, no longer attempting to put on the persuasive charm that he had started with.
“No. Can’t. Sorry. I have a date tonight.”
“Just move your date this one time, come on!” Dustin begged. Why did the two cool older kids in his life have to be dating each other? In Dustin’s opinion it made both of you significantly less cool.
“What, to hang out with you and Eddie ‘the freak’ Munson? Uh, yeah, I’ll pass,” Steve responded. You rolled your eyes at the nickname for the poor boy in your class. He really wasn’t that bad, but you weren’t about to lecture Steve about it.
“You’re just jealous ‘cause I have another older male friend,” Dustin retorted, attempting to get under Steve’s skin.
“Ew. Ugh, whatever. Besides, you know, I really dig this girl...who knows, maybe she could be the one,” he added, smiling at you as you beamed right back at him from your perch on the countertop.
“You two are fucking disgusting,” Dustin replied, scoffing.
“No, we’re cool as fuck, dipshit,” Steve shot back. The door suddenly swung open, as a group of three girls entered the store, the bell above the door chiming to its familiar tune. “Oh, I got some customers. Call you back, bye.” Steve hung up the phone, ignoring Henderson’s protests.
“Welcome to Family Video, how can I help you today?” You smiled at the group of girls. They were definitely from Steve’s graduating class, home on spring break already. They cast you a judgmental look before turning to Steve.
“Steve! Oh my goodness! It’s been so long since I saw you last,” one of the girls spoke up. When Steve stood staring, unsure of how to respond, her face fell a bit as she added, “it’s me…Alice.”
“Oh, right…how are…things?”
“Oh, life’s been just so peachy! It’s just, us gals need to have a little fun this spring break…you know how it is,” she laughed flirtatiously. “We were just hoping that you had a good movie recommendation for us.”
Steve looked at you and could tell that you weren’t happy with the way these girls were talking to him as if you weren’t even there, so he spoke up, wrapping an arm around you and hugging you close to him. “Yeah, actually. My girlfriend, y/n, and I went and saw Back to the Future together on our first date, and I would really recommend it. I can already tell it’s gonna be a classic, you know?”
At this, Alice frowned, glaring at you before plastering on a fake ass smile. “Aww, that’s so cute that you two are dating! It’s just so surprising, I never would have put you two together. You always seemed like you’d want to go for the more mature girls…the ones with more experience, you know? But I’m just so so happy for the two of you.”
“Yeah, we are really, really happy. Honestly haven’t met a better person than her. But thank you so much for the well wishes, Alex,” Steve responded with a smirk as he grabbed a copy of the movie from the counter. He knew exactly what he was doing, and didn’t feel a bit bad about the way the girl’s face fell as she looked between her two friends. “So, are you ready to check out your movie or what?”
“Actually, I think we’re going to make other plans for this evening,” she spat, “and it’s Alice.”
“Well, I’m sorry we couldn’t be of service to you today,” Steve narrowed his eyes as she turned around, sauntering out of the store with her two friends following closely behind. You rolled your eyes, but you were grateful that Steve at least recognized that the girls had ulterior motives.
“Thank you for that,” you chuckled awkwardly, putting the copy of the movie back on the shelf. You wished you could tell him that the girl’s words hadn’t gotten under your skin, but that would be a lie.
“She was a bitch in high school anyway. Hasn’t changed a bit…mature, my ass,” Steve grumbled, glaring at her car as they pulled away.
“So, we have a date tonight?” You spoke up, reminding Steve of what he had told Dustin. His words had been a surprise to you.
“Yeah, actually!” Steve beamed, “I was thinking we could go to the championship game for basketball tonight. You know, I just miss some of that stuff about high school sometimes, and I know that you miss seeing the kids as often, so I thought that it might be nice to see Lucas play…even if he is a bench warmer…And we’d get to see Robin! And maybe we could even help her with talking to Vickie and—“
“Steve,” you chuckled, “of course I want to go with you, so you can stop trying to sell me on it. That was very thoughtful of you.”
He moved towards you, grabbing you around the hips and pulling you into him until your hips were flush against his, “besides, I was thinking that afterwards, you could spend the night at mine, and we could…hang out some more.”
Your breath caught in your throat. You had been officially dating Steve for eight months and he still was able to make you weak at the knees with only a few words. Your mind flashed back to what Alice had said, about how you were inexperienced, and you thought about the fact that you and Steve hadn’t…gone all the way. You knew that he wanted to, and at first you were holding off because, even though you knew he changed, you still sometimes worried about his history of being a player. However, now that it had been eight months and you two still hadn’t had sex, you were pretty confident he was going to stick with you. Now your insecurities centered more around the fact that you hadn’t been intimate in that way with anyone before. What if he realized that you weren’t good enough and the spark disappeared? What if he didn’t want you anymore?
“Hey, is anyone in there? Earth to y/n, what’s going on?” Steve joke as he knocked his fingers gently against the side of your head. You giggled and leaned against his chest.
“Yeah, that sounds good to me,” you closed your eyes. He was just so perfect and you always felt like you were seconds away from losing him. He made you feel so comfortable, which sometimes paradoxically put you on edge. You pulled away, running your fingers through his perfect head of hair as you smiled up at him.
“I love you, y/n. I really, really do,” he looked down at you with his big brown puppy dog eyes.
“I love you too, Steve.”
***
Steve placed a gentle hand to your back as he guided you up the bleachers, making sure that you found a spot close to the band so that you could chat with Robin. You had barely gotten to your spots when the principal took the mic, his words ringing out through the gymnasium.
“Everyone now please rise for our national anthem. Singing for us tonight, we have a very special guest. All the way from Nashville, our very own Tammy Thompson!” The audience cheered as she walked into the gym, waving as if she was some sort of celebrity. You gaped as you and Steve looked over at Robin.
She began singing extremely off key, feedback from the microphone resonating through the gym. Steve leaned towards Robin, whispering, “told you…muppet!” You smacked him in the chest, and he looked at you in disbelief as you rolled your eyes.
“Okay, she does sound like a muppet,” Robin whispered back. Vickie laughed beside her and you smiled as she replied, kickstarting a small conversation between the two of them.
Tammy finally finished her screechy, godawful rendition of the national anthem and the game started. It was a nail biter, but you weren’t on edge until a player on your team got injured and suddenly Lucas Sinclair, season long bench warmer, was on the court.
“Oh my god, Steve,” you said, staring wide eyed at the court as you lazily slapped him in the chest to get his attention. He looked at you incredulously, given the fact that he had been paying much closer attention the whole time than you were.
“Let’s go Lucas! You’ve got this buddy!” Steve yelled out. Sure, he acted like the kids were just a massive pain in his ass, which they were most of the time, but he loved them more than life itself. Watching Lucas play, Steve couldn’t really believe the coach hadn’t put him in all season.
There were three seconds left in the game, and suddenly Lucas had the ball. Hawkins was down by one point, and Lucas shot the ball. You watched with bated breath as the basketball bounced around the rim. You grabbed Steve’s wrist, as you watched with a furrowed brow. Is this what it’s like to be a sport parent?
The ball finally sank into the hoop, and you began jumping up and down as the crowd erupted into cheers and applause. You turned and hugged Steve around his neck, needing somewhere to place all your anxiety-turned-adrenaline, now that the game was finally over. Even though Steve was a bit bummed that he hadn’t won a championship of his own, he was damn proud that Lucas had.
The whole basketball team surrounded Lucas, and you quickly made your way down the bleachers. After the team had celebrated and there was finally a break in the crowd, you approached Lucas, pulling him into a hug.
“Lucas, you were amazing! I’m so proud of you!”
“Thanks, y/n!” The boy beamed. He had been bummed that Dustin and Mike bailed on him, but seeing you there was an unexpected surprise, considering he knew how much you hated basketball.
“I assume the team will be celebrating?” You asked him with a knowing look. He looked at you sheepishly, which confirmed your assumption. “Look, I’m not going to tell you what to do, but please try and make good decisions. And if you need anything at all, just call Steve, okay? He can pick you up, it down’t matter what time it is, you just call, alright?”
Lucas rolled his eyes, somewhat annoyed at your maternal tendencies, but the way you cared about him still made him feel good, so he decided he’d forgive it. “Yeah, okay, I got it. Thanks again for coming guys,” he added, shaking Steve’s hand as Steve patted him on the back to congratulate him. Lucas jogged off with the rest of the team, leaving you and Steve to head out of the gym together.
Once you got to the parking lot, you saw the Hellfire boys exit another wing of the school and you marched off towards them, ignoring Steve’s protests.
“Hey, guys…how was the campaign? I see you found someone to fill in,” you chuckled as Erica gave you a hug. Despite her sassy attitude about 80% of the time, she could be really sweet on the rare occasion.
“It was awesome, y/n!” Erica beamed as she told you.
“Well, I’m glad to hear it,” you smiled down at her.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t the miraculous Ms. Y/n…you missed O’Donell’s quiz,” Eddie spoke up, looking at you with crossed arms.
“Yeah, I wasn’t feeling too well earlier, so I had to leave early,” you didn’t elaborate, “how’d it end up going?”
“It was pretty good. I actually don’t think I failed it this time, so thanks for the help. You know, I’m really fucking determined to graduate this go around.”
“Yeah? Well, I’m glad I could help,” you replied and Steve reached for your hand. You interlocked your fingers with his before you added, “well, we’d better get going…we have an early shift tomorrow, so I’ll see you suckers later.” You saluted with your free hand while Steve grumbled a goodbye and dragged you towards his car.
You got in the passenger seat and as he started it, you could tell he was a little frustrated. “What’s got your panties in a twist, huh?”
“It’s just, I didn’t know you were such good friends with Eddie,” Steve grumbled and you rolled your eyes, chuckling. He looked at you exasperated, in disbelief that you would laugh, but you just leaned in and caught his open mouthed expression in a kiss. He immediately softened at your touch, muttering an apology as you pulled away.
“Ms. O’Donell just asked me to help him with some of his physics shit since he’s dense as fuck. I promise you there is absolutely nothing going on between us…he’s just a friend.” Steve tried to shove his jealousy aside. He knew you wouldn’t lie to him. He just nodded as he drove off, brow still furrowed. You were getting worried that he wasn’t saying anything, but you were terrified of breaking the silence.
When you got to his house, he yanked your car door open, helping you out before grabbing your wrist and pulling you in his house and up the stairs to his bedroom. Normally he was pretty gentle with you, but this time he was a little rougher as he guided you to his bed. You sat down with a huff as he let go, looking at you with wild eyes.
“Steve, I’m sorry, I don’t know what I did wrong,” you spoke up beginning to tear up at the way the night was going. His expression softened a bit in surprise, but he reset it, sitting next to you and pulling you onto his lap to straddle him before placing his lips to your neck. He sucked harshly at the skin and you let out a gasp, melting at his touch.
“I’m not mad at you, baby…I could never be mad at you,” he assured you as he breathed across the expanse of your neck, sending a shiver up your spine. “I just get a little jealous sometimes is all…and I want to make it abundantly clear to everyone that you are 100% all mine,” he added as he sucked on your neck again, leaving visible marks and love bites.
You breathed out a small moan that was like music to his ears as he flipped you over so that you were lying down, continuing to kiss across your neck. He began to unbutton the first few buttons of your shirt, placing gentle kisses across your collarbones and down your chest, but your hands quickly darted up to stop him. He immediately let go, looking you in the eyes, searching for what was wrong.
“Steve, I’m sorry…I-I’m just not ready,” your voice cracked as you whispered, your eyes welling up with tears again. You hated disappointing him, and you were worried that he was going to lose interest in you.
“Y/n, please don’t cry…and don’t apologize either. I don’t want to do a damn thing until you’re ready for it, okay?” He assured you while you both sat up, looking you in the eyes with so much sincerity it made you want to cry all over again.
“It’s just….I-I keep thinking about what that girl said at work earlier…she was right you know? I am inexperienced and it’s embarrassing, and I just wish that I could be less weird about all of it and—“
Steve cut you off, “woah, woah, woah! I don’t give a fuck what that girl said. And who cares that you’re inexperienced? I swear that I don’t. Besides, it just means that when you are ready, I get to make sure I really take my time and make it real special for you, okay baby?”
You smiled up at him, leaning in to place a sweet kiss on his lips. He smiled into the kiss as it deepened, before pulling away to look at you again.
“I’m the luckiest guy on the planet, you know that?” You smiled at the praise, before he leaned in to place more kisses down your neck. Life was just so perfect.
Your heart rate quickened at the thought as your breath caught in your lungs. You knew better than to trust things to stay that way…a bad feeling settled in your chest as Steve continued to kiss and nip at your tender skin.
You pushed the thought away as you took a deep breath and allowed Steve to continue kissing you. If shit was about to hit the fan, you’d be damned if you let it cut this moment short. That was a problem for another day, you decided as you melted under Steve’s gentle touch.
Anger At First Sight
Nico di Angelo x Son of Eros Reader
Prompt - First Meet
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3
AN - If you have any ideas for a story with this reader then ask and you shall receive
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nico glared at his sister as she pulled Nico to Gods nowhere.
She had grabbed him by the jacket and away from his tree, he was having a very nice time thinking about his life while watching everyone. But now that they were still walking, and Hazel refused to tell Nico what she was even planning, annoyed him.
Nico wanted nothing more than to leave. But Hazel kept dragging Nico. “What are we even doing Hazel? Nico asked for what felt like the millionth time. The sun was slowly setting and everyone was gathering for dinner so Nico didn’t even know what was happening.
For all Nico knew nothing was happening. Nico never spent a lot of time at Camp Half-Blood but he knew nothing like Capture The Flag was happening.
So this confused Nico more.
No one else was with them, Hazel had only dragged Nico. She still hadn’t let him go, which was probably a good thing since Nico would probably shadow travel away. Hazel looked at Nico and just smiled at him. Nico rolled his eyes.
He had to stop asking.
Nico never really knew what was going on in Hazel’s mind anyway. Hazel finally stopped but Nico almost walked into her. “Sorry, why did you finally stop?” Nico asked and this time Hazel rolled her eyes. “I wanted you to meet someone”, Hazel pointed her finger in the direction she was looking in.
Nico had quickly realized that he was on the opposite side of the Hermes Cabin. In front of him Nico followed Hazel’s finger and Nico eyes widened at what he saw. He was what looked like the Stoll Brothers talking to someone.
He had h/c hair that was messy and looked like it hadn’t been washed in days. He was wearing a white tank top that looked like it had big holes in the back. They were so big and close that there was almost no back to the shirt.
Nico was confused about that but what caught his attention more was the scars. Nico had seen his fair share of scars, he had some interesting ones himself, but he had never ones like this. They looked red, like they were agitated but they were pretty small.
Maybe six inches long and almost completely straight. Nico was confused how he got these scars. The boy was also wearing jeans that were ripped at the knee. That was all Nico could see as he only saw the boy from the side.
Nico realized that he looked good.
He seemed to be laughing at something and Nico could slightly hear it over the commotion of campers. It sounded light and airy, and Nico had the sudden urge to laugh too but Nico pushed it away. “Is that the new camper?”
Nico asked, looking over at Hazel, who looked like she was trying to not laugh. “Yes, and I think you like him”, Hazel smiled at Nico and Nico tried to ignore the slight increase in his heart beat. He had heard about you when he came to camp a few months ago.
He wasn’t claimed yet so you spent all your time in the Hermes Cabin. Nico had also heard that you were good at archery, which made people think he was a Son of Apollo.
But why did Hazel bring him here?
Hazel's comment popped into Nico’s head and Nico got rid of it. Nico hadn’t focused on romance in a while and Hazel was clearly trying to set him up with him. “I don’t need a boyfriend, Hazel. And I don’t like him”, Nico argued, “How could I like someone I don’t even know?”
Hazel smiled at Nico and placed her hands around her mouth “Hey Y/n!” Nico looked over at the boy, Y/n, that was his name. He looked away from the brothers and smiled when he saw Hazel. Nico looked at him, he had e/c eyes that seemed to shine in the sun and a smile that could blind a man.
Nico had to look away or he was afraid a blush would spread to his face. Nico didn’t like what he was feeling. It felt wrong, weird, not normal. “Hey Hazel. Who’s this?” Nico hadn’t even realized that he had come up to them
Nico looked over at him again.
He was now a few feet away from them looking at Nico. “This is my brother, Nico”, Hazel said, pointing at Nico. Nico had realized, against his will, that he looked better up close. Nico slightly shook his head, to get rid of the thoughts. Then he hoped that no one had noticed. If they did, they didn’t say anything.
He smiled again and held out his hand. “Nice to meet you Nico”, Nico pulled his hand out of his jacket and shook his. But after he shook Nico’s hand he turned his hand over and placed a kiss on Nico’s knuckles, not breaking eye contact with Nico.
Nico felt his cheeks heat up and he looked over to glare at Hazel to see that she had left. Nico made a mental note to talk to her about this later. He let go of his hand and leaned to the cabin that was next to him.
“So, do you know why Hazel wanted me to meet you, Pretty Boy”, Nico was shocked for a moment. Nico had been called lots of things. But ‘pretty boy’ was never one of them, and Nico didn’t know how to feel about it. He didn’t know how to feel about him.
“I don’t know but I have things to do”, Nico said and then he started to walk away. Nico heard him say “Nice talking to you too” but you didn’t follow him. Nico was glad for that. Nico didn’t like this.
And for now, he didn’t like you.
22 just playing the part — twenty one questions !
scaramouche x g!n reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“My wrists are still sore from earlier today,” you complain, popping the can of beer open that Scaramouche had offered that was in the cooler of his car.
He’d driven you both to a park to practice lines, sitting in the trunk and using the stars above as your light source. It would be romantic if it wasn’t Scaramouche who did it and if he wasn’t constantly correcting you when you messed up.
Scaramouche doesn’t reply, looking over to your wrist that held a mark remnant from the handcuffs. He reaches over, grabbing ahold of your left wrist and rubbing his thumb against it.
“You should ice it,” he mutters, grabbing an unopened can of beer and pressing it against your wrist, the coldness of the metal soothing your bruise.
“Have you been icing your wrist?”
“Yeah, because I’m not stupid.”
You send him a glare and pull your wrist back, icing it with your own beer instead. His warmth on your hands gave you an odd feeling.
“I think that’s enough for tonight,” you sigh, growing sick of the script that stared back at you from your lap.
“Do you want me to drive you back?”
“Not yet, being outside is nice,” you answer, “Your company is decent.”
“Just admit you enjoy my company.”
“Not a chance.”
It grows silent again, apart from the low vibrations of the car’s engine and the occasional snap of another can being opened. You were afraid of it getting awkward so you let out the first thing that came to mind.
“Wanna play twenty-one questions?”
He lets out a low chuckle, “Are you trying to find out something dirty?”
“No,” you scoff, “It’s not like you have anything juicy anyway, your first kiss was with me.”
“No need to remind me, but fine,” he answers, crushing an empty can and opening another one.
“Okay,” you hum, racking your brain for a question, “Most embarrassing thing you’ve done while drunk?”
“Other than willingly hanging out with you? Letting Childe give me a stick-and-poke tattoo.”
“Of what?”
“That’s two questions, not one,” he grins, “My turn. Most embarrassing thing you’ve done when drunk?”
“I threw up on Aether and Lumine’s father in highschool,” you answer, wincing at the look on Dainsleif’s shocked face that was still ingrained into your mind.
“I probably shouldn’t have given you beer then, no?” he teases.
“I’m good with alcohol now,” you huff, “Sort of.”
He sends you an eye roll, but for once it lacks any malice.
“Are we friends?” you question, looking down into your now empty can of cheap beer, immediately regretting the question. Maybe you weren’t that good with alcohol.
“You tell me.”
“You’re supposed to answer the question,” you point out.
“I don’t think think I’d sit at night playing a dumb game with someone who wasn’t my friend,” Scaramouche shrugs.
“So that’s a yes?” you smile, ignoring how elated that made you feel. Weird.
“It’s my turn to ask,” he counters, “Biggest fear?”
You muse at the thought, “Probably that I’m wasting my time trying to pursue my interest in acting and it won’t go anywhere.”
He lets out a snort, “Really? That’s stupid.”
You’re about to defend yourself but he continues.
“It’s stupid because you’re a good actor,” he says.
“Are you trying to comfort me?” you smile, nudging him on the shoulder.
“Trying? Did I not?”
“You did,” you reassure, holding back a laugh at how distraught he sounded.
“Whatever, you go,” he mumbles, already on his fourth can.
“Toughest pill you had to swallow?” you question, eyeing him as he drains half the can.
“That I’ll never experience a mother’s unconditional love,” he deadpans, throwing the can he was drinking behind him into the backseat.
“Oh,” you let out, not quite expecting that, “I’m sorry to hear that,” you slowly say, not expecting him to be open during the silly game you came up with.
He shrugs.
“Does she not support you?”
“That’s your fourth question,” he says, “And no, she doesn’t.”
“She’ll see what she missed out on when you prove her wrong,” you say, “When you make it big.”
He gives you a fleeting glance, “Are you trying to comfort me?”
“Trying?” you smile, “Did I not?”
“Maybe you did,” he slyly says, averting his eyes from you.
“I guess the world sucks, huh?”
“Yeah,” he agrees, dragging a long sip of what was now lukewarm beer, “But I think I’ll forgive it because at least it has you in it.”
You pause, the can of alcohol hovering in place at his words, “What?”
“Just realized I’m too drunk to drive right now,” Scaramouche mumbles instead of acknowledging your question.
“Should we call an Uber?” you ask, realizing he wasn’t sober enough for making conversation, yet alone finishing the game.
“Soon,” he mumbles, leaning his head against the side of the trunk, letting his eyes fall shut, “I need a minute.”
“Alright,” you comply, feeling your eyelids feel heavy as well, “I’ll wake you up.”
Spoiler, you did not wake him up.
Mending a Family 42/?
Prev | Next
Jazz set down the three tea cups just as Jason and his younger brother entered the house. She took a seat and studied him.
He was young—about seventeen or eighteen. The black hair and dark rings around his eyes made his blue pupils stand out. He was a lot shorter than Jason, maybe 5’6”, and looking at Jazz with a calculating look. There was a glint behind his eyes that made Jazz feel targeted.
She smiled serenely at him. She was suddenly glad she had sent Danny to his room even if he had protested. Ancients know what he would’ve done to Tim.
“Jasmine Nightingale, I presume.”
“Just Jazz is fine.”
Tim frowned a bit; he was probably disappointed Jazz wasn’t surprised he knew her name.
“And you’re Timothy Drake, the third son of billionaire Bruce Wayne.”
Tim turned toward Jason and looked at him sharply. Jazz sipped on her tea.
“She knows everything, Replacement.”
Jazz narrowed her eyes at Jason: what an interesting nickname; she’d have to analyze that.
“Stop that,” Jason snapped at her suddenly.
She raised an eyebrow, “Stop what, Jason?”
“Stop psychoanalyzing me!”
She took another sip of tea.
“How could you tell a stranger our secrets, Jason,” Tim asked, exasperated.
“She’s not a stranger,” Jason retorted vehemently, “she’s my sister! And I trust her more than I trust you or the rest of the Batclan.”
“Jason, you have to come home! What are you even doing here? Playing house with a stranger and a kid? You have a family at Gotham! Hell, you can bring Danny with you, and Bruce will accept you and him with open arms!”
Jason’s eyes started glowing; Tim stepped back, tensing up. His pupils were dilated, and a light sweat formed on his forehead. Jazz knew Jason had attacked Tim before, so the fact that he came here alone to confront Jason spoke more about his bravery…or maybe it was his stupidity. There was a fine line between the two, after all.
“Jason,” Jazz said, the reprimand strong in her voice.
“Whatever, I’m gonna go check in on Danny.”
Jason turned and left Tim and Jazz alone. Tim’s shoulders relaxed when Jason left.
“Have a seat. Here, have some tea.”
“I’m more of a coffee guy,” Tim said, making no move to sit down. He crossed his arms and stood at full height, trying to look intimidating.
“You’re not very trusting, are you?”
“You’ve given me no reason to trust you.”
“Aww, but I’ve also given you no reason not to trust me, now, have I?” Jazz frowned at her now empty cup. She took one of the other three. It’s not as if Tim or Jason were going to drink it.
“How did you and Jason meet?”
“Fell through an interdimensional portal and ended up in a random street with my suddenly de-aged baby sister. Jason and Danny found me and took me in. He’s my big brother now.”
Tim glared at her, incredulous.
“What do you mean he’s your older brother, now?” Aw, was that a hint of jealousy she saw?
She shrugged, “It’s exactly what I said.”
There was a beat of silence before he huffed out a breath.
“Y’know,” he started with faux casualness, “It’s interesting. There are times when you are speaking that your eyes almost glow. Now, it could be a trick of the light.”
He slammed his hands on the table, rattling the cups. Jazz raised an eyebrow.
“What have you done to Jason?” he asked in a low voice. “You obviously have powers. Did you brainwash Jason into wanting to stay here and play house?”
Jazz’s serene smile froze. She felt a fire lighting deep in her chest. How dare this boy assume Jason has had no part in his own life? Did he think someone else was pulling the strings? Jason was happy, and he built all of it with his hands.
“I think the better question is: what makes you think this isn’t all Jason? Is Jason being happy such a bad thing?”
“It is as if he’s being brainwashed into it. He needs to be back with his family so everything can return to how things were.”
“How things were? Interesting. Does that mean to go back to Jason being ignored while you go around with your ‘family’ in spandex to fight crime? Does that mean having Jason look from the outside in as you guys spend time together, and he’s left alone?”
Tim reeled back as if he had been slapped.’
“Does going back to the ways things were mean not being told he has a niece? Being hunted down when he decides he wants to leave that toxic environment? Not being allowed to say no to not being part of the ‘family?’”
Tim impersonated a fish by opening and closing his mouth.
“It sounds to me like you don’t want Jason home for Jason, but keep up the status quo. You know, ‘don’t rock the boat,’ right? That’s what you are doing right now.”
Jazz stood up.
“Batman, Bruce Wayne, whatever he likes to call himself, needs to stop relying on others, especially the people he calls his children, to be his emotional support. There’s a reason therapists exist.”
Jazz walked up to Tim, “Jason may not want to know anything about Gotham, but I’ve kept up with the news. He’s gotten more violent, similar to the Jason died.”
Tim flinched at the reminder that he had failed to keep Bruce in check.
“Jason isn’t an emotional support pet to keep Bruce’s actions and emotions in check. Neither are you nor any of your siblings, for that matter. Bruce is a grown-ass man who needs to get his head out of his ass and find professional help instead of relying on children.”
“You don’t understand. It’s my job to rein in Batman. It’s the whole reason I’m in the family; it’s the reason I was able to be Robin in the first place.”
Jazz’s expression softened with pity. She put a hand on Tim’s shoulder. " If your place in the family is conditional, especially in a way that you, a child, have to protect an adult’s feelings, then answer me this: Is it really a family?”
“No, the family, being a hero, being Red Robin. That’s all I have.”
“Hmm, I think you should talk to Bruce. Or a therapist. Either way, Jason deserves to live his life, and if that means it’s away from the family, well, I think he deserves that.”
Jazz left the boy alone. His brow was scrunched. She hoped she gave him something to think about.
____
Jason took pity on the Replacement and went to find him. Jazz had entered Danny’s room. He had finally calmed Danny down enough to put him to sleep.
“I talked with your brother. He was…interesting.”
Jason saw the glint in Jazz’s eyes that she sometimes got. He almost felt bad for the Replacement. Almost.
“Can you stay with Danny while I talk to the twerp? I’m afraid he’ll wake up and attack Tim.”
He had to pry the knife out of Danny’s hands and talk him down from attacking Tim. Like father, like son, he guessed.
Jason found Tim staring into space, deep in thought.
“How are you feeling, Timbo?”
Tim turned to look at Jason, “That’s an interesting sister you have there.”
“Funny, she said the same thing about you.”
“Made me wish you had kicked my ass instead of leaving me alone with her.”
Jason scoffed. Yeah, he could see why a Bat would rather fight than talk.
“Jason,” Tim said silently, “Batman needs you. Bruce needs you.”
“What Bruce needs is a couple of thousand hours of therapy and for someone to take that stick out of his ass.”
“Did Jazz tell you that,” he asked petulantly.
Jason rolled his eyes.
“Jazz didn’t need to tell something that we all already know. I love Bruce, but he recruits children to fight an unwinnable war. Oh, and he’s a stubborn jackass who believes his way is the only right way.”
“He’s trying, Jason,” Tim whispered.
“He needs to try harder,” Jason snapped back. Jason missed his dad; he did, but he wasn’t blind to his faults. Not anymore. So, while he appreciated the apology and the fact that he, supposedly, was going to leave Jason alone, that doesn’t mean he’ll forgive him for the trauma he’s put him through.
Jason’s throat got dry as the image of batarang suddenly appeared. He messaged the scar on his throat.
His dad had done that.
Tim’s eyes followed his movement before widening in understanding.
“Bruce did that,” he said. It wasn’t a question.
“Yeah,” Jason whispered.
Tim looked into the middle distance.
“You’re not brainwashed, are you? You left by choice. You’re not coming back.”
Jason shook his head.
“I found Danny one chilly day. He had come through a portal. Suddenly, there was a child who needed me, a child I considered my own. I left behind the Red Hood and Gotham to keep him safe. Now that I’m a father, I can’t understand Bruce’s obsession with crime fighting when he has children he needs to return to. My love for Danny is bigger than anything else. Bruce may love us, but his need for vengeance is stronger than that love.”
Tim said nothing.
“You can stay the night, or you can leave. If you tell Bruce, though, and I find other little birdies sniffing around, I’ll disappear again. I refuse to have my family being taken away from me.”
Jason left Tim standing alone. He was too tired to think about the consequences. He entered Danny’s room and fell asleep on a chair beside his son.
Ok I know you said you’re tired so no pressure but I just had an idea for ymls so ima send it in and maybe for concepts laterrrrr <3
Ok ok ok so I know ymls started out as an enemies to lovers kind of thing but developed from there which has been the loveliest development 🫠 (seriously one of my absolute favs) but what about the night they met? ‘Cause you did a blurby on the first night they hooked up (thank u) but I had this thought that like, the first night they met, if they were all out with friends, y/n would be extra grumpy because she’d be irritated at how attractive and enigmatic he was and she didn’t wanna be drawn to someone like that bc literally who does and so he’d be flirting with everyone bc that’s just his personality which would annoy her even more bc she’s so (adorably) grumpy and so she would make an effort to talk to everyone but him and then THAT WAY you could have the little blurby/one shot you’d intended about them actually being enemies and like witty banter (which as we’ve seen obviously develops into H being a total softie and a total simp for y/n)
Can u tell I relate to a grumpy y/n
Just a thought do NOT mind me if you hate it
I LOVE THIS VERY MUCH TY HERES A LITTLE BLURBIE FOR YA (I changed it a little bc I got carried away LOL)
part of the ymls universe!!!!!
content warnings: none!
. . .
"God, he's so annoying."
Lea scoffs from beside Y/N, who looks on as Harry waltzes effortlessly around the bar, making any and everyone his biggest fan. She doesn't understand how he does it — or even why he does it — but they both know he's charismatic enough to convince anyone to sleep with him, bail him out of jail, or sell him their house. Or, all of the above.
"I don't understand why you're being so mean," Lea replies as Y/N wraps her lips around her straw, sipping her cocktail, "He's actually really nice."
"Yeah, I can fucking see that."
Lea snorts and shakes her head. "You could probably learn a thing or two from him, actually."
Y/N glares at her and slides her elbows off the bar, rising from the barstool and walking back over to their booth. She doesn't know who this guy thinks he is. Dom brought him tonight, apparently they work together, and everyone just... welcomed him, like he's the son of god or something. There was never a question of whether or not he fit in, and no one asked one another if they liked him. It was irritating because in fact, everyone loved him. Except Y/N, of course.
She'd known him for all of three hours and found his flirtatious nature annoying. She didn't have an issue with his kindness, but it had to be for show, didn't it? No one was actually that nice all the time. She would pay big bucks just to see him properly angry. Maybe then she would like him more.
"Wipe that scowl off your face. You look like you're gonna go on a murder spree."
Y/N rolls her eyes as she slides into the booth, ignoring the typical teasing coming from Dom.
"Me? I could never."
He chuckles and wraps a loose arm around her shoulders, leaning down to catch her ear. "He's the nicest guy ever. You're being really silly, Y/N."
She shrugs his arm off of her, "I don't have to like him."
"That's true," he says with a nod. They both look up to watch him flirt effortlessly with a blonde across the room, a wide toothy grin taking over her face as she laughs, reaching out to run her fingers over his bicep. Y/N resists gagging. "But you don't have a valid reason to hate him."
"I do, actually. He's flirted with nearly half of the bar."
"So you're slut-shaming him?"
"I am not." Y/N mutters.
"Don't look now, but he's coming this way."
She tries not to groan as she glances up. Sure enough, this mysterious Harry plops down at the booth, an empty glass in his large hand.
"You guys need refills?"
She goes to shake her head, but Dom cuts her off. "I think Y/N does, actually. Oh, and could you grab me one while you're up there?"
She sends him a glare through squinted eyes, grumbling as he forces her out of the booth. She passes Harry, continuing her trek up to the bar, and rolls her eyes when she feels him scrambling to catch up to her.
"Hey, Y/N, right?"
She nods, ignoring his presence beside her.
"Nice to meet you. I don't think we got a chance to talk tonight."
"Yeah." she says curtly, waving down the bartender. He misses her and she sighs out in frustration.
"Oh, lemme do it," Harry replies, using his taller stature to grab the attention of the bartender. She grumbles and pushes her elbows up onto the surface of the wood. She bets if she'd worn a top with more cleavage tonight, she wouldn't have to rely on Harry. "I'll take another tequila soda, please, and whatever she wants."
Y/N scowls up at him but nevertheless hands him the empty glasses. "Just two vodka crans, thanks."
"Is that your go-to drink?" Harry asks.
"Only when I'm feeling annoyed."
"Tough day at work?"
"Something like that," she mutters, turning around to face him. "What's with this whole nice guy act? Do you go home and secretly play with human bones or something?"
Harry's eyebrows furrow. "Like... like taxidermy?"
"No. Like psychopathy."
"Are you asking me if I'm a psychopath because I'm... nice?"
"Yeah. There's no way you act like this because you want to. It's weird and you're not fooling me."
Their drinks appear on the bar top and Y/N quickly grabs hers and Dom's, walking back to the booth. She sits down at the end so Harry can't take a seat next to her, only for him to slide in across from her. The tension is apparent as Y/N glares at him, and Dom clears his throat awkwardly.
"Harry's a psychopath." she blurts out. She hopes that's enough to maybe push him out of the group, but instead he just breaks out in loud laughter, a stupid, dazzling grin appearing on his face.
"You're funny," he says once he's calmed down from laughing, "I think we're gonna be good friends."
something to get used to (zoro x reader)
Summary: Both you and Zoro are afraid to lose each other and take too long to finally admit it.
Rating: G
AO3 link is in the replies to this post! I am a complete sucker for character A getting angry and avoiding character B at all costs, so here is an entirely self-indulgent fic and I hope you enjoy :)
***
Zoro had screwed up. Royally.
It wasn’t exactly new for him, but this time, even he could tell it was a big one, seeing as it had been days since she had last spoken to him.
At some point, Nami, who usually kept her nose out of things like this, had snapped at him for being an “insensitive ass”. While he certainly hadn’t appreciated the brutal honesty or choice of words, he knew she was right. Even Robin had intervened, telling him in that usual nonchalant tone of hers that he should probably do something about it soon.
The thing was, he was trying, okay? It wasn’t like he was sitting on his ass and doing absolutely nothing. He had been trying to approach said crewmate for days now, but each time he tried, she would deliberately avoid eye contact, ignore his calls of her name and would be out of his sight within seconds of him spotting her. How big was this ship, anyway? It was starting to get ridiculous, the fact that it was this difficult to track down a single person, even if she didn’t want to be found.
Frankly, the whole thing was starting to grate on his nerves too. How was he supposed to apologise to someone who was clearly not interested in being in the same room as him? Just this morning, he had spotted her in the kitchen talking to Sanji, and he’d be lying if he said he didn’t get annoyed at how she was chuckling at the love cook’s shitty jokes and bad pick-up lines. He’d tried to approach her, but before he could even get close it seemed she had sensed that he was there, and before he knew it, she was already on her feet and scuttling out of the room with her head down. Sanji could only stand there, stunned by the abrupt end to their conversation.
The cook had promptly shot a glare in Zoro’s direction, which the swordsman returned evenly.
All in all, Zoro was at his wit’s end here, and he was running out of ideas. And patience.
A sudden jerk on the boat had him nearly losing his balance, and shouts coming from the deck snapped Zoro out of his thoughts. From the crow’s nest he looked out the window, where a huge fleet of navy ships had gathered and which were quickly approaching the Sunny. Looking down, he noticed that the entire crew was gathering on the deck, including her.
Without a moment’s hesitation, he rushed out of the crow’s nest and leaped down, landing smoothly on the deck with the rest of the crew, right next to her. Again, she didn’t acknowledge his presence, her eyes fixated stubbornly on the enemy in front of them.
A small sigh escaped him as he readied himself for what was coming. He supposed the apology would have to wait for now.
***
You were being petty, and you knew it.
You should have already known the kind of person Zoro was by now: strong, fiercely loyal, and brave in the face of danger. He may be rough around the edges, his words often curt and harsh, but otherwise you knew that he was really a softie at heart and would do anything for his crew.
And it was precisely that part of him that worried you to no end. If it came down to it, you knew Zoro was prepared to sacrifice anything, including himself, as long as his friends were safe.
That was why you had ended up losing your temper at him, after the crew barely managed to get away from Kizaru and Akainu after a recent brush with them. He had suffered severe burns in his attempt to help the crew escape, and because you hadn’t managed to duck out of the way in time. You should have been the one to suffer those injuries, but instead Zoro’s right arm had nearly been burned all the way through. It would have been worse than that if Franky hadn’t managed to refuel the ship just in time for a coup de burst then, that allowed all of you to narrowly escape.
Thankfully, Chopper was able to save Zoro and fix his arm — the little reindeer had told everyone that if the injury had been any deeper, he wouldn’t have been able to use his arm like before.
You had stayed behind in the men’s quarters to wait for Zoro to wake up. You had thought carefully about what you wanted to say, to ask if he was doing okay, to thank him for saving you or you might have been dead.
But when he woke up and relief flooded you, your thoughts went haywire and the only thing you blurted out was:
“Why did you save me? You shouldn’t have done that.”
You hadn’t meant for it to come out that way, or to sound that angry or frustrated with him. Zoro had done you a huge favour, but you were reacting as if he had wronged you somehow.
It was no wonder the swordsman had responded the way he had: frowning, his tone frigid as he snapped at you to leave him alone and that he could do whatever the hell he wanted.
By then you weren’t thinking anymore, moving and speaking entirely based on the emotions you felt: a storm of worry, regret, frustration, anger coursing through your veins. You had never been one to be able to hide your emotions well, and it all showed in your voice and tightly clenched fists that shook by your sides.
The argument rapidly escalated, and it didn’t take long for the crew outside to hear the raised voices. By then the both of you were going at each other without restraint, and Usopp and Chopper had to hold you back while you yelled at Zoro for being stupid and senseless in battle, for thinking that he could protect the crew all by himself.
That seemed to trigger something in him, and you could see his eyes turn dark as he went livid. You knew you had gone too far then, and you were about to apologise, except that you were swiftly interrupted by his next words:
“That’s my business, not yours. Just stay out of my way.”
Silence. A deep, heavy silence filled the room.
You knew that it was just Zoro mouthing off in the heat of the moment, but it didn’t change the fact that the words had cut you deeper than any blade could. The inexplicable pain that bubbled up deep within your chest had you flinching, your words dying instantly on your tongue. You knew what was coming when you felt a familiar lump in your throat and moisture gathering in the back of your eyes.
At that moment, you didn’t really know what else you could do, other than run. So without another word, you had shrugged Usopp’s grip off your arms and fled the room, the sound of the closing door cutting off the cries of your crewmates for you to wait.
A few days had passed since then, but you still couldn’t bring yourself to look him in the eye, or even be anywhere near him. It felt like you might burst into tears if you did, and crying was the last thing you wanted to do in front of him.
Deep down, you knew that Zoro was right. What happened to him wasn’t your business at all, and if he wanted to protect his crew at the cost of his own body, it was his choice and you couldn’t change that. Nor was it your place to tell him what he could or couldn’t do.
The rest of the crew obviously had their share of concerns for him as well, but it seemed they had already come to accept that Zoro wouldn’t change. The stubborn swordsman had his own set of values that were pretty much set in stone and he wouldn’t budge on them.
So fine. You would stop caring. You would stay in your lane and not give a shit about what he did with his life. After all, that was what he wanted, right?
Except, you couldn’t, and you knew damn well the reason why.
Zoro may be dense, but you were no fool. You knew what those butterflies stirring in your abdomen meant whenever you saw that trademark, cocky smirk of his. You knew why you would find yourself breathless and lightheaded when you got a bit too close while training with him in the crow’s nest. And you knew perfectly well the reason you had been so deeply hurt by his words, by the implication that he wanted nothing to do with you, or you with him:
You had fallen hopelessly for this man.
…and you didn’t know what the hell you should do with these feelings.
For now, burying it was the only answer you could come up with. It was clear enough that romance was far from Zoro’s mind. From what you could observe, it looked like the only things he really had any interest in was training, getting stronger, protecting his friends, and his ambition to become the strongest swordsman there was. That, and drinking lots of booze.
Romance? It would only slow him down, no doubt. Serve as nothing more than a distraction from his dream. And even if romance was on the cards, Zoro clearly felt nothing for you; that much had been made clear by what he said to you a few days ago.
In any case, you had no time to dwell on these things. It was only distracting you from the huge fight at hand. A whole fleet of navy ships had finally caught up to the Sunny, and from what you could tell, Kizaru and Akainu were back, fully intent on achieving their goal of nabbing the crew after failing once already.
You were occupied with fending off a whole crowd of marines. While they were lower-ranked, their numbers were slowly but surely pushing you back, and before long they had already encircled you, trapping you in.
No one else was free enough to help, each of them engaged in their own battles at the moment. From the corner of your eye you could see Zoro, struggling to keep up with the pace of Kizaru’s attacks. His movements were duller than usual, no doubt because he still hadn’t fully recovered from the last battle. It was clear that Zoro was losing ground, however, and all you could think of was that you had to back him up as soon as possible.
Just as you fought off another few dozen marines, sending them flying into the sea with your sword, a bright gleam of light caught your attention.
You turned in that direction, and instantly the colour drained from your face when you saw Zoro on his knees, bleeding out and his swords nowhere in sight. Kizaru loomed over him, his raised foot glowing with a blinding yellow light.
Time seemed to move in slow motion then, and the cries of your crewmates of Zoro’s name faded into the background, muffled as if you were underwater. Mustering strength you didn’t know you possessed, you knocked back the rest of the marines in your way, clearing the path towards Zoro.
Your body acted on instinct, moving before you could even think or register what you were doing. All you knew was that you had to get to him, before it was too late. You couldn’t lose him. You just couldn’t.
Even the thought of it was too much to bear.
Zoro was the only person in your line of sight as you surged forward, bolting through the air with such speed that the wind fiercely resisted in your face. You dove for the floor then, shoving Zoro out of the way as far as you could. He was heavy, but you managed somehow.
The next thing you knew, you felt a sharp pain in your abdomen, which quickly spread to the rest of your body and you couldn’t hold back the scream that tore from your lips. You had been hit, your body breaking through the wood of the deck and the sheer weight of the force knocking the wind out of you.
It felt like an eternity before you finally took in a sharp gasp of air, and when you did, a white hot pain surged through your body and you had to bite down on your lip to keep from screaming again.
You couldn’t muster any strength to move, only able to let out a pained whimper when you felt a pair of strong arms grabbing you, dragging you out of the broken wood and holding you against a warm chest.
Your vision was blurry now, everything a haze, but you could still make out green hair, and that annoying face that had occupied your mind for days now. It looked like he was shouting something at you, but you couldn’t really hear him. Your consciousness was fading, and you tasted the metallic tang of blood before spitting a mouthful out onto your shirt.
There was a hand on your cheek now, and Zoro was shaking you to keep you awake. The jerk was only making the pain worse. Still, it worked for a few seconds.
Then the exhaustion came like a tidal wave, and you found yourself rapidly succumbing to it.
Just before your eyes slipped close, through the small slit of light left you kept your gaze on him, offering an upward twitch of your lips — hopefully that would make things right with him, after you had chickened out of a talk with him for so long. He deserved better than this, but this was all you could offer.
A final cry of your name rang in your ears, and then your world turned black.
***
It had been two days. Two days since they managed to get away from the navy, and she was still in a coma, showing no signs of waking up. Chopper had to do a blood transfusion for her seeing as she had lost a lot of blood, but for some reason she still hadn’t woken up.
Zoro was practically losing his mind from worry, and resentment at the fact that he had been stupid enough to give Kizaru the chance to attack him like that, and that she had nearly been killed while trying to save him.
For all that training, he was still too weak to protect the people he cared about. All he could do was stay by her side while she rested in the women’s quarters, hoping that she would wake up soon. The rest of the crew was worried too of course, but they seemed hopeful enough that she would recover in no time. One by one, they had taken turns to tell him the same thing, and while it quelled his anxiety just slightly, it didn’t take away the heavy, suffocating weight on his chest each time he looked at her sleeping face.
“Staying here and not eating isn’t going to make her wake up faster.” Nami’s voice came from the doorway, and Zoro frowned in her direction.
“Later. I’m not hungry.”
He heard her sigh, and then the sound of her approaching footsteps.
“She’ll be worried if she sees you like this too, you know.” She stopped by the other side of the bed, placing her palm on the sleeping woman’s forehead. “I’ll watch her for now. Go get some air, and take a bath. You stink,” she added as an afterthought.
Any other day he would have barked right back at her for that, but Zoro didn’t have the energy to argue with Nami right then. Knowing there was no way he could out-argue her, he got up and left the room, but not before casting a lingering stare at the sleeping woman over his shoulder.
He supposed he would have to wait a while before making things right with her. He just hoped it wouldn’t take too long.
***
When you woke up, you were greeted with the familiar sight of the ceiling of the women’s quarters. Your head throbbed with a dull pain, and you winced, trying to recall what had happened.
The last thing you remembered was passing out in Zoro’s arms after taking one of Kizaru’s hits. How long had it been since then? Were the rest of your friends okay?
Was Zoro safe?
Remembering the state that Zoro had been in just before you dove and pushed him out of the way, panic seized you and you rushed to sit up. You weren’t able to get up all the way though, pausing when you realised your hand was caught in something.
Your eyes dropped down, widening in surprise when you realised that your fingers were interlaced with someone else’s fingers. Your gaze trailed upwards, and found Zoro resting his head on the bed, sound asleep while seated in a chair that he had placed next to your side.
What… What was he doing here? And why the heck was he holding your hand?
You tried pulling your hand out of his grasp, but found that his grip was a little too tight. Had Chopper assigned him here to make sure you didn’t get out of bed?
You didn’t want to wake the man though; suddenly your bravado from before had vanished. Without the adrenaline, you were back to your pathetic, cowardly self who was too afraid to talk to him, in fear that he might discover your feelings for him. Not to mention, you didn’t want to cry; at least not in front of him. It would only make him feel bad for something that wasn’t his fault.
Carefully and gingerly, you tried to lift his fingers and extracted your fingers from his hold, one by one. With each finger that you lifted you noticed how calloused and rough his skin had become, no doubt from the countless battles and hours of gruelling training he would subject himself to every day. You were already smiling to yourself without realising it, chest swelling with the hope that he would one day be able to achieve his dream. If it was Zoro, you knew he could do it.
It took a few minutes, but you were eventually able to get most of your hand free without waking the swordsman. He looked exhausted, and was probably recovering from his own set of injuries as well.
It was just when you were about to get your last finger free that his hand suddenly grabbed yours again, and then you found yourself staring into a pair of piercing brown eyes.
Your breath caught, and you practically forgot how to breathe when Zoro sprang up, the sleepiness completely gone from his eyes. His eyes were on you, and his grip on your hand had become tighter.
“Zoro—” You could barely get a word out, before you felt his arms encircling you, and crashing your body to his chest.
He was warm. Big. And everything felt right.
His hold on you was tight, caging you in completely and leaving no room for you to wriggle away. Your hands were on his chest right next to either side of your face, and against your palm you felt his strong pulse, beating about as rapidly as yours was.
“I’m sorry,” was the first thing he said, and it was the first time you had ever heard his voice waver. Zoro, the man who was always confident, sure and brazen, had never sounded more raw, more vulnerable to you in that moment, and for a while you didn’t know how to react other than to stay still and listen to his shaky breaths.
“I didn’t understand until you took that blow for me,” he went on, and as he did you felt his arms tighten around you, pressing you closer to him. “I shouldn’t have said that to you. I’m sorry.”
“It’s… It’s not your fault,” you replied, as tears gathered in your eyes. Damn it, this was why you didn’t want to talk; you just knew this would happen. Thankfully, him holding you meant he couldn’t see your face, but it did mean that he would easily feel your tears through his shirt. It took every fibre of your being to hold them in.
“I overstepped, and I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have reacted that way when you just wanted to protect us, and I didn’t have the guts to talk to you about it until now, even though I know you were trying. Sorry.”
“Quit saying that. I’m trying to apologise to you here.”
You couldn’t help but chuckle at that. Zoro was just as grumpy as ever.
“Why’d you do that? I could have taken it.” He was referring to Kizaru’s kick.
You could only shrug in response. “I don’t know. My body was moving before I could think. I just… didn’t want you to get hurt.”
“The same goes for me, you know,” he said, and those words filled you with some kind of hope. Hope that maybe he had the same feelings for you. But that was instantly crushed when he followed up with, “We’re nakama. I don’t want you getting hurt for me either.”
It was like getting a bucket of cold water to the face. Of course, you had known it all along: Zoro only saw you as a friend. Nothing more, nothing less. At least now you knew, so your feelings could stay buried until they eventually disappeared with time.
“But, it’s not just that.”
You felt him pull away then, to hold you by your arms and look you in the eye. His expression was serious, and you felt your face begin to heat up under his intense stare. Instinctively, you looked away.
“Look at me.”
His words were commanding, and you obeyed, meeting his gaze once more. They were burning with an emotion that you couldn’t quite identify.
“That day, when I saw you nearly get cut down, I… was afraid.” His fingers dug into your arms, and he looked downwards briefly. “I was afraid of losing you.”
You swallowed, not quite sure where this was going. In your head, this was easy enough to rationalise. “Well, that’s because we’re nakama.”
Zoro shook his head, the skin on his forehead crinkling with a frown. “I’ve been with the crew for a while now, and each time we had a close shave like that, I was afraid of losing them too. But this time, it was different.” His eyes returned to yours, locking onto your gaze and your parted lips. “It was different, because it was you.”
You didn’t know what to make of that. Or rather, you knew, but you were afraid to draw that conclusion on your own, lest you get disappointed once more.
“What… are you saying?”
“What I’m saying is,” he responded, his lips turning up into a gentle smile, one so tender that it made your heart melt, “I have feelings for you.”
Your heart may as well have stopped then. You blinked at him, doing a double take as you tried to register his words. Feelings? You? But what about nakama—
“I don’t expect you to return them, so don’t overthink things,” Zoro continued, cutting off your frenzied train of thought. He must have been able to tell from the confusion written all over your face. “Nothing’s going to change.”
A beat of silence passed, with neither of you saying anything.
Eventually, Zoro found it awkward enough to clear his throat and to release your arms from his grip. “Anyway, I should get Chopper in here. He told me to let him know when you woke up.”
The sound of the chair legs scraping against wood was the only sound in the room as he got up to leave, but he was swiftly halted in his tracks as your hand grabbed his wrist to hold him back.
He watched wordlessly as you got off the bed, and you held back a grimace at the pain throbbing in your abdomen. You’d be an idiot if you allowed him to walk away after saying all that. His confession had been short and straight to the point, exactly the way Zoro was.
And, just like Zoro tended to do, it had also pissed you off a little, and that anger was stirring up in you a boldness that you couldn’t muster before.
“Aren’t you forgetting something?”
He seemed to be taken aback at the sudden ferocity in your tone, and didn’t seem to expect to be manhandled when you grabbed him by the collar without warning and yanked him towards you, until your noses were barely touching. His eyes were blown wide, and you could see his face begin to turn red from the proximity. Up close like this, you could feel his warm breaths on your face.
“You didn’t ask me what I think,” you told him in an almost-whisper, and you watched as he swallowed, uncertainty swimming in his eyes.
“What do you—”
You pressed your lips to his then, cutting off whatever stupid excuse he had to say in his defence. He always did this, assuming things on his own and jumping to his own conclusions.
Then again, you had gone ahead and done the exact same thing, so you were probably being a hypocrite.
Not that you really cared; all that you could focus on then was his lips against yours, gentle and tender and soft. You had released your grip on his collar by then, instead resting your one hand on his hard chest while the other wrapped around his neck to pull him closer.
Zoro didn’t show any resistance; in fact, he quite eagerly leaned into you, arms snaking around your waist to press your curves against his body and to deepen the kiss. Things slowly grew bolder, more daring as you felt his tongue sweep across the seam of your lips. You obliged, parting your lips for him and your knees nearly buckled when his tongue entered your mouth, sliding against your tongue and swallowing the soft moan that had unwittingly escaped you.
“Zoro…”
You felt his fingers in your hair then, and with a soft pull he tipped your head back, angling your face so that he could deepen the kiss with renewed vigour. You couldn’t help but be swept along with his pace, allowing him to kiss you over and over and over, each kiss an affirmation that his confession was real, that he had wanted you just as much as you had wanted him all this time.
The realisation had your chest swelling with joy, and there was no stopping the big smile that your lips spread into, which forced him to pull away from the kiss. Breathing heavily, Zoro rested his forehead against your head, allowing your noses to touch.
“So tell me again, nothing’s going to change?” you taunted, licking your lips and smirking at the man.
“Heh.” With a chuckle and a devilish grin that made you almost forget how to breathe, Zoro lowered his lips towards yours once more.
“I guess this is something I could get used to.”
On My Mama Pt. 3
It was the day after your move and you were still pissed at the meddling duo. You were going over ways to hit back harder in your head, whilst trying to pay attention to your classes. You'd barely made it through your school day, anger heating your gut as you tried to stay focused.
"Nina move your big head!" Gina hissed, as Nina stood in front of you and Gina. She was yammering on about some party that was being thrown and how she'd scored you all an invite.
Gina had been a major help to you, before Nina walked up and disturbed the conversation. You'd asked her about Riri and Shuri's past women, wanting to know who they were. However as she spoke of them all, there was only one that stood out. Bria, a South African beauty that had a smile that reached her eyes.
Bria
Tumblr media
You'd gotten the story of how Riri and Shuri competed for women, yet she was the only one they had shared. They had a small situationship that fizzled out because Bria wasn't into the duo's childishness. She wanted something serious, whereas the other two were into playing games. It was known that Riri wasn't as bad off as Shuri however she still didn't want to be in anything serious.
The end of the situationship caused strife as Bria was Shuri's friend before anything and when the trio parted ways Bria cut Shuri off like she was nothing and moved on. It was a known fact that after Bria, Shuri's partying got worse yet no one was brave enough to say that to the girl's face.
As Nina kept on talking, you moved your head to look past her to where Bria stood talking to someone. She was gorgeous, had a very attractive body and was very well known around on social media. She was perfect for what you had in mind.
You walked away ignoring whatever question Nina threw at you, and approached Bria with long strides in your stilettos. Your mind was conjuring up thoughts of just what you planned on doing.
Tumblr media
You stopped right in front of her and glared at the person she was talking to until they stopped speaking and cleared their throat uncomfortably. You kept staring at them with your dark shades until they made an excuse to scurry away.
"That was quite rude." Bria says, staring at you with curiosity.
"Maybe so." You agreed. "I'm Y/n."
"Bria." The girl says, eyeing you. She was trying to be discreet, you could tell.
"I won't beat around the bush or feed you any bullshit." You start, licking your lips before smiling devilishly. "I have two very annoying roommates of which you are intimately familiar with. What do you say to us getting as familiar?"
"I... uh...." She looked shocked as she processed what you'd said to her.
"Well while you think that over, why don't we get to know each other?" You quickly grabbed her hand and led her towards your car.
-
After a week of casually hanging out you realized you and Bria had quite a bit in common. She was easy to talk to and you couldn't help how much you opened up to her. She had this vibe around her that made you feel at ease, and talking to her was therapeutic.
After talking to Bria and explaining why you were angry with Shuri on the whole mother front, she was flabbergasted to say the least. Once you got to how they'd forced you into being their roommate she was quick to agree to help you get under their skin.
You cracked open a bottle of expensive wine, prepped some cheese and crackers and were wrapped up in conversation with Bria. She was funny and blunt. She told you about her experience with the meddlesome duo, how she'd really liked them but quickly realized they didn't feel the same. The more you two talked the more you found you liked hanging with her.
You stood from your bed and turned on your record player. You played Jhene Aiko's álbum 'Souled Out' your favorite album of all time.
"Wanna help me make the popcorn?" You asked, as she lounged on your bed. You'd invited her over for a sleepover. After a few public hugs and lunches, it was all over campus that the two of you were friends. You planned on showing Shuri and Riri just how friendly you were with Bria.
"Sure." Bria shrugged, as you headed for the kitchen. The apartment was empty as Shuri and Riri were at their lab according to their schedule on their board.
As you made the popcorn, you drizzled caramel, chocolate and sea salt over it. While Bria grabbed strawberries, washing them and dipping them in the leftover chocolate.
She grabbed the can of whipped cream and started to put it on the top part of the strawberries where she'd cut off the stem part. After she finished she hopped on the counter and sprayed whipped cream in her mouth and smiled as she swallowed.
"Want some?" She asked. You nodded before walking towards her, standing in between her legs.
You giggled as she put the whipped cream to your mouth. As you swallowed, your eyes locked with hers and you kissed her, your tongue caressing hers as her hands encased your body. Your lips moved together like peaceful waves in harmony.
Tumblr media
As the two of you kissed, your head raced with thoughts of just what you were doing. But you couldn't will yourself to pull away. The front door opening and footsteps had you jumping slightly. You stared at Bria with an uncertain gaze.
"Bria?" Shuri gasped, stopping mid step, causing Riri to bump into her.
"Hey..." Bria said, looking from Shuri to Riri.
"W...what's goin on?" Shuri stuttered. She'd seen pictures of the two of you all over her Instagram but she and Riri thought you were friends according to the school gossip.
"Y/n, invited me over for a sleepover." Bria smiles at you. You felt weird. This was the exact scenario you'd wanted yet you felt strange about it. You couldn't even say anything as you were still stuck on the kiss.
"We'll get out of your hair." Bria says, handing you the plate with the strawberries as she grasped the bowl of popcorn. You moved your eyes watching her as she hopped down and headed for your bedroom and you followed silently.
The rest of the night went by with you on autopilot, Bria was talking and you simply listened as your music played. After a while you decided to smoke to help let go and relax. Bria agreed, and you rolled up before lighting the blunt.
"You're so beautiful." You say, as you blew smoke from your nose.
Tumblr media
"No, you're beautiful." Bria asserts, as she took a long drag before shotgunning the smoke into your mouth. You inhaled the smoke, holding it before letting it go. She learned until her lips brushed your ear. "Are we still on?"
"Yes." Is all you say before she puts the blunt out and to the side. She grasps your neck with her hand and kisses you, and your eyes flutter close.
Her soft lips and hands move over your body, pulling angelic moans from your mouth as she plays your body like the rarest harp. Her fingers strumming your most sensitive spot, over and over.
She has you coming until you're completely exhausted and your limbs are weighed down by the promise of a good rest. The last thing you remember is wanting her to cuddle you and the thought getting lost as you fall into the deep abyss.
-
The next morning you wake up to a text from Bria thanking you for the previous night. You feel oddly hurt at the fact she'd left without saying anything to you and the thought angers you. You've never cared enough about anyone you've slept with in the past so to have her be so nonchalant when you were usually that way was hard to swallow.
You moved through your morning routine and got dressed before leaving your room to see Riri at the kitchen island, eating a bowl of cereal.
"Good morning." She mumbled. It was obvious she was angry and while that should have made you happy, it didn't.
"Morning." You returned before grabbing your oats to make a creamy oats porridge with maple sugar, cinnamon and almond milk.
"Quite a performance you put on last night." Riri raised a brow.
"If you thought that was a performance I pity whoever you've fucked." You rolled your eyes, as you made your breakfast.
"I wasn't speaking on the sex. Though you should know Bria's skills are thanks to Shuri and I. We taught her everything she knows." Riri gloated.
"Congratulations, do you want a cookie?" You scoffed, as you stirred the oats in the pot.
"I see hurricane Bria worked you over." Riri shakes her head. "I should probably warn you she's quite the manipulator. But I figure you'll learn that all on your own. You're stubborn."
"I'm just having fun." You lie. Unsure of why you felt the need to. You weren't sure what you wanted however you knew Bria wasn't interested in anything with you. She was simply into getting Shuri and Riri back, however you didn't mind her friendship. She seemed genuine.
"If you say so." Riri shrugged, as she finished her bowl of cereal. "What do you plan on doing today?"
"Why is that your business?" You give her a look, as you bowl your oats porridge and start eating.
"So nothing. Got it." Riri grinned. "What do you say to a little roommate bonding?"
"No thanks."
"Come on, you can't be this boring. All that attitude isn't all you've got as a personality. Come shoot hoops with me." Riri begged, you fixed her with a displeased frown as you continued to eat.
"I heard you were into sports that you played basketball, softball and ran track for years." Riri's eyes brightened as she brought up your past. "That doesn't just go away."
'Yeah, well it did." You stop eating, and place your bowl in the fridge no longer hungry and head for your room not wanting to think on anything she'd said.
"Hey..." Her hand clasps around your wrist gently. You tense, not wanting to be touched.
"I know what happened and I'm sorry for your loss. I'm not trying to play games with you. I just want to be your friend, you could use one." Riri's voice seems sincere, and for the slightest moment your resolve wavers.
"Fine but we're running I'm not interested in playing ball I haven't played since..." You regret having to even say anything but as quickly as it's said, she immediately agrees.
Despite the nagging feelings of wanting to tell her to fuck herself, you bite the bullet and get ready for the run. You wear a pretty lilac seamless bralette and short set with a white cropped jacket that fits you just right and pair it with your white hoka running shoes.
Riri forces you to eat a granola bar and banana by naming the number of things that can happen if you don't before your run. You both agree on a nearby park that has a long path for walkers, joggers and runners.
The walk there is interesting, with you refusing to speak and Riri filling the conversation for the both of you. She's goofy, and playful a side you've never seen because she'd always be flirting or trying to get you to go out with her.
She goes on and on about things she's into, like basketball, running, technology. You find that she has many shared interests with you, including music, food and fashion. She'd be a stem, if she'd label herself though she prefers no labels as she hates social norms and rules.
As she talks you feel more and more comfortable around her. It's like on the one hand you had all these preconceived notions of what she was like and on the other hand you were now realizing what she really was like. You still hated that she was whatever she was with Shuri but you could separate the two.
The run was electrifying, you felt so good, so empowered and so free. There was nothing on your mind as the two of you ran in silence. You hated to admit you'd missed this, the feeling running gave you. It had been so long since you'd ran, you couldn't think about the last time you ran.
It'd been so long, it was a regular occurrence for you and your father to run together in the mornings before school. He was your biggest cheerleader, he took care of you whilst your mother focused on her career. She was always self centered and narcissistic, at times you wondered idly why he put up with her for so long.
She was incredibly selfish, it wasn't a shock that she cheated on him. It was more shocking that it was with a woman, she was such a hypocrite. She'd berated you about liking women, even went as far as slapping you across the face when you'd came out to her. Then to know she not only cheated with a woman but the woman you'd been obsessing over for years.
She was a shit mother, always had been yet you loved her anyway. Always forgave her because it was what your father wanted, while he made certain she treated you right. Up until the night everything changed, you'd respected her, loved her, did everything a dutiful daughter could do.
The moment you'd found how devastated your father was when he'd found out callously how she'd fucked another woman your age and just what became of him being in that state... You hated her, you hated her so much you couldn't stand the sight of her. She disgusted you.
The moment the adrenaline caught up with you, your chest tightened and your eyes went blurry and you keeled over with a heart wrenching cry. You chest heaving with breaths, as you got lost in the memories of the day you'd lost your father, the last run that you'd shared.
"Y/n..." Riri called, catching up with you. "Hey, hey, hey... Breathe. Come on, you can do it, just breathe..."
You tried several unsuccessful attempts at getting yourself together, your eyes watering as you struggled to stop the panic attack. You barely registered her hands, gripping you as she led you to an empty bench along the path.
"You're fine, You're going to be ok." Riri assured, kneeling in front of you with her hands on your knees. "Just breathe. In and out."
You listened.
Taking deep breaths, trying to control yourself.
It took a few minutes before you could gather yourself. The whole time, Riri spoke words of encouragement and affirmations. She had a calming effect that just seemed to wash over you.
"You good?" She asked, her eyes full of understanding.
"Y-Yeah..." You stuttered.
"I take it you also ran with your dad?" Riri asked, her tone was soft like she was trying to handle me with care.
"Yeah." You whispered, as tears ran down your cheeks. You swiped at your face, hating that she was seeing you be so weak. You hated showing that side of yourself to anyone. As the only person to ever acknowledge and help you when you were feeling down was gone.
"You know, I lost my father too." Riri admitted, and you stared at her with wide eyes. No one had told you that. "It was a long time ago..."
"I'm sorry." It was the first genuine thing you'd ever said to her that wasn't mean or shady. You felt bad at how you'd treated her seeing as how she was being nice to you.
"I know exactly how you feel right now, I've been there. It wasn't easy moving away from feeling so tormented and hurt and angry but I poured my all into being everything he'd of wanted me to be." Riri has a faraway look in her eyes, as she shakes her head. "He died because of me. I'd wanted to have a family picnic, he'd just come in from working all night and had forgotten about it. My best friend Natalie was coming back to Chi town to visit, and I hadn't seen her in months since she'd moved away. So I begged and pleaded until he gave in and brought me to that park. We'd only been there for a few minutes, he was walking Natalie over to my mother and I at our table when they were struck by stray bullets..."
"Ri...." You gasped as her eyes got glassy. She'd witnessed something truly horrific and traumatizing. "It's not your fault. Whoever shot that gun is at fault, not you."
"I've made peace with it. I used to blame myself for the longest, but then I worked through my grief and guilt. The hardest thing I ever did was forgive who'd done it, it wasn't easy. But it freed me from all the hatred and anger burning inside me." Riri swallowed, taking a deep breath. "This may be hard to hear but you need to hear it. Hating people isn't going to change what happened, you need to forgive. Not for them, but for you. You're only hurting yourself by giving these people the power to control your emotions, to fuel them. You are so bright, so smart, so creative. I've learned a lot about you albeit not very legally but I know enough to know that you are a good person with a big heart that tries to pretend like you don't care about anyone when we both know it isn't true. You deserve to be free of whatever anger, hurt, and despair that is harming you."
You stared at her, not wanting to accept what she was saying. Just because she was willing to forgive such a heinous act; didn't mean you had to do the same.
"I know someone exactly where you are. Exactly where I was... and I'm going to tell you the same thing I told them." Riri said, sternly. "You are only hurting yourself, by being so angry. You may feel as though you want to make the whole world pay but that isn't going to change anything. It won't make you feel any better. You have to forgive. Forgive and give yourself the time to grieve without your anger leading you."
"Look, I appreciate you sharing your story with me... but I'm not you. You don't know me. I don't need saving, nor do I need any motivational speeches about overcoming my emotions. If you want to be friends, save that shit for someone who needs it." You said, your tone sharp. You meant every word.
"Understood." Riri nodded to herself, standing. You stood as well wanting to shower, eat something and bury yourself in your sheets for the rest of the day.
When the two of you returned back to the apartment, you were shocked to see Shuri. She was so drunk she was stumbling, singing some tune while giggling to herself. You frowned as you watched the girl with new eyes.
"Riri!" Shuri exclaimed, as she smiled widely at her friend. "You missed a great opportunity today, that lab girl that's always flirting practically begged me to let her eat my--"
"Okay... Let's get you to bed..." Riri sighed, looking at her watch to see it was just after one in the afternoon. She hated when Shuri got like this. Drinking, smoking and fucking randoms. She wanted nothing more than for Shuri to heal, to let go of the hurt and stop leaning on these habits of hers.
"Oh... Y/n...." Shuri giggled, as Riri grabbed her around the waist to help her to her room. "Fuck, I wish you didn't hate me... You're so good, and pretty and I f-fucked up by f-fucking your mom and--"
"Shuri!" Riri scolded, wanting to slap the taller girl. Drunk apologizing was not it, and by the look on your face it hadn't scored Shuri any points. She could see the hatred in your eyes, as you looked Shuri over before heading into your room and slamming the door.
"See... She h-hates me..." Shuri laughed.
"I hate when you're like this..." Riri grumbled, leading Shuri to her bedroom.
After a little hiatus, I'm back! Thanks to everyone that supported my blog while I was away. I really appreciate you all. I was working on my stories that I plan on self publishing in RL because I'm a sapphic girl with sapphic reading desires.
Anyway, let me know what you thought of this part. I rushed in Bria's character because BOY do I have plans....
When love and hate Collide
Summary; Eddie and yn can't stand each other and it drives the Hellfire boys crazy...
There's a thin line between love and hate... Right?
Warnings; illusion to smut, arguing, enemies to lovers.
If you enjoyed this story please consider giving it a reblog, comment, etc.
Tumblr media
I don't give anyone permission to copy my work.
I might make a part two if anyone wants that 💞
💞💞
Eddie stalked into Hellfire Club with a sour look on his face, an epic rant was coming and Dustin, Lucas, and Mike exchanged knowing looks at who could put Eddie in such a mood.
Gareth sighs and counts under his breath.
"3...2...1"
"Do you know what yn did this time" Eddie explodes and Gareth grins. It was like clockwork with Eddie and his favorite cheerleader.
"Not really but I'm sure you'll tell us," Jeff says rolling his eyes. Eddie either misses the sarcastic tone or ignores it completely.
He paces the floor, playing with the rings on his hand as he mutters to himself.
"Who does she think she is? Running around in that stupid little cheer skirt, all sweet smiles and shit. She's a viper!"
Dustin frowns.
"Dude what did she do?" Eddie turns to Dustin his big brown eyes wide.
"She said... words fail Eddie for a moment, she implied that I pick fights with her and not the other way around! She gets under my fucking skin! She's everywhere I look and it's driving me nuts. I can't stand her"
They heard the same argument from Eddie every day, sometimes twice. Heard the arguments in the halls, seen the tension and the way Eddie and yn were like magnets that drew them together.
They saw how anytime the other was distracted by something or someone else how annoyed they would get.
They noticed Eddie staring at her all the time and they noticed the way yn would flounce around in front of Eddie and get his attention.
The two of them drove each other crazy and were beginning to have the same effect on the Hellfire Club.
"Can we lock them in an empty room and they can just argue it all out?" Lucas suggests and Gareth whispers to Jeff so the younger members don't hear.
"Lock them in Eddie's trailer so they can fuck it out more like" Eddie glares at him.
"What was that?" Gareth shrugs.
"Nothing, can't we start with the campaign now man? Get your mind off yn?" to all their relief he agrees.
💖💖
All Mike wanted to do was ask Eddie about the new campaign but the metalhead's attention was elsewhere.
Tumblr media
His burning gaze was directed to the cheerleading table and on yn and Eric one of the basketball team's star players.
Eric was gazing at her with a glazed look in his eyes, eyeing her up and down and looking like he was in some amazing dream.
"It's pathetic, Eddie snaps. Look at the asshole. He's practically eye fucking her. It's nauseating when I'm trying to eat"
"Well don't look," Mike tells him annoyed and Eddie huffs.
"How can I not Wheeler? It's so bad I can't tear my eyes away" thankfully his attention is eventually drawn away by one of his heavy metal magazines.
All is quiet.
Gareth has a shit-eating grin on his face and turns to Eddie.
"Dude, oh my God. She's kissing him" Eddie turns around so fast he almost hurts his neck and finds yn and Eric in the same position, not kissing and glares at Gareth.
"Not cool douchebag" he then begins to draw or write in his Hellfire notebook then tears out the page, scrunches it up, and throws it over to yn.
It lands on her lunch tray and she opens it and then turns to Eddie her attention firmly on him.
"Eddie Munson!" to Mike's bafflement Eddie is trying to hide his smile and is it just him or does yn look secretly relieved that Eddie threw that note?
Girls were weird, he adored Eddie but sometimes Mike couldn't understand the Dungeon Master either.
Did they actually like fighting? Did Eddie secretly just want all of her attention on him?
El was a superhero, super-powered and she was less complicated than these two.
💞💞
Eddie was late for the team meeting. He was never late. On top of the worry about their DM, Dustin had overhead Chrissy ask Robin worriedly if she had seen yn anywhere.
With both of them missing alarm filled the Hellfire boys.
"You don't think they actually killed each other do you?" Lucas asks in horror and Jeff calms him down.
"No, Eddie would never hurt her, and vice versa, it's all words and annoying the hell out of each other, they'll show up"
Meanwhile in the woods...
They had been arguing again, she wasn't sure what over this time. Eddie said something sarcastic, she replied, and then they were fighting.
Now they were lost in the woods near the school, and due to the yelling at each other, neither of them noticed how far in the woods they were.
"This is all your fault," she tells Eddie who stops pacing and rolls his eyes.
"My fault! I was in the middle of a deal when you came marching up to me and accused me of stealing your precious boyfriend's letterman jacket"
"Eric is not my boyfriend" she replies and feels a headache coming on. He was impossible, he never listened.
"Whatever princess" the princess nickname made her fume and she stalks up to him.
"Why do I have to be stuck in the woods with you of all people? You are arrogant, rude, mean" he chimes in.
"Oh like you're a Saint? Remember Nicola Brown? She sat beside me and asked me if I would like to hang out and you got all angry because my attention wasn't on you for five minutes, you're bitchy, you're mean and dramatic"
"Says you? Eddie Munson who makes a scene every day in the cafeteria. God, I can't stand you"
Eddie smirks, he's so close to her now and her whole body feels like it's on fire.
"Feelings very mutual princess" the tension between them explodes and before she can even think about what she's doing she kisses him or maybe he kisses her?
Either way, fireworks go off in her head and Eddie is moaning softly he backs her up against a tree, her legs wrap around his waist and it feels so good that she doesn't want to stop.
Their clothes begin to litter the forest ground and she can't think of anything except Eddie being buried deep inside her and their moans that fill the air.
💞💞
Eddie walks into the club meeting with a strange look on his face. It's a mix of being totally blissed out and freaked out.
"What the fuck happened to you man?" Jeff asks and he shakes his head.
"Woods, got lost"
"What and you got tangled up in a bush?" Gareth jokes and motions to the twigs and leaves in Eddie's hair.
"I got tangled up in something" he replies dazed and sits down leaving the boys at a loss to what the hell happened in the woods.
💞💞
PART TWO IS NOW UP!
Tumblr media
warnings: swearing, loving someone unattainable
word count: around 1000
.
"Let me at least get you a jumper, you're shivering." He muttered, unlocking his sleek black car in the car park and grabbing it from the boot. You feel embarrassment try and edge its way in, but you’re not regretful for barging into the bar and confronting Harry.
“Don’t try and pretend like you care about me right now, Harry.”
He slams the boot shut and looks at you with a frown. “What the fuck are you talking about? Of course I care about you.”
“Oh I’m sorry, skipping your best friend’s birthday meal for your ex-girlfriend’s party-”
“PR girlfriend.” He seethes.
“-deserves a fucking Saint’s award, my mistake.” You roll your eyes, turning your head away when he wraps the jacket over your shoulders.
“She told me it was a work thing! Something about some legal shit we need to re-sign about the whole PR thing.”
“And that couldn’t have waited?” You snap. “I shouldn’t have to find you in some random bar in Soho, whilst I’m already upset that the one person I wanted to show up tonight didn’t.” Your voice goes higher and higher in octave as you reach the end of your sentence, your throat closing up and sinuses blocking to prepare an outpouring of tears. You were gutted, especially after seeing his tattooed arm in the corner of a video of his ex girlfriend cheering and pouring shots whilst you were holding back tears at your birthday dinner.
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding.” Sarah mumbles, prying your phone from your fingertips and glaring down at the phone with a stoned face.
“I thought he was at a meeting-” you say quietly, looking around to see if anyone noticed the commotion.
“Oh Y/N. I’m so sorry.” She panders you as you feel tears springing to their ducts. You fan your eyes discreetly and Sarah ushers you off to the bathroom.
“I can’t keep doing this. I think he has feelings for her, Sar.”
“You don’t know that, Y/N. Their relationship was to boost her new book, remember? If he had feelings for her, they’d be dating right now.” She says pointedly with an eyebrows raised, patting away your running mascara.
“Why are feelings so shit?”
“I don’t know, but I think life’s to short to not tell someone you love them. You might just get a surprise.”
“I’m sorry. How many times do I need to say it?” He pleads. “I genuinely thought this was a business meeting, that’s why I told you. I wouldn’t lie to you.”
You don’t reply, looking out at the bustling streets and wiping your eyes.
“And how am I supposed to believe you? You’re not giving me much convincing evidence that you’re a reliable person, Harry.”
He’s silent for a moment, eyes taking in your body closed off in defence, completely opposite to how relaxed and close you usually are with him.
"I think we should call a taxi." His voice breaks as he says it, sighing and tapping away on his phone, trying to ignore the tears that were free falling from your eyes.
You hug his sweatshirt closer around your body as the cries silently rack your body, he doesn't even stand close to you. His perfectly tailored suit mocks your feeble state and you feel the most out place you've ever felt. Here you are, crying your pathetic eyes out whilst Harry's watch is ticking down the time that he's away from his celebrity life, a private bar bustling with big names that mean so much more than you.
“Trying to get rid of me now?”
"What? No! You’re worked up and need to go home. Please stop crying." He softens, trying to reach out his arm. You scoff at his audacity to tell you to stop, when he was the perpetrator for your emotional state.
"Fuck off." You mutter, stepping away and trying to pull his jumper off you. He looks more than hurt at your words, but you can’t bring yourself to be nice to him.
"Stop it, for God's sake, it's too cold for you to be out here without a jacket." He huffs as he tugs the black zip up back over your shoulders despite your protests.
Moments of silence pass as the noise from the surrounding streets fills your ears.
“You need to learn your priorities, Harry.”
“You are one of my priories! You’re literally one of the only people, who isn’t my blood, that I care about.” He’s frustrated now, hands raking through his hair.
“Don’t spew that bullshit at me, if I was, you would have been there.” And you would love me back, you wanted to add, but couldn’t muster up the courage.
The tears begin to dry and you pinch the side of your thigh to shake yourself back to earth, trying to get your thoughts straight. You suck in a shaky breath and let out the final point you had been wanting to make for months after a multitude of occasions when Harry decided to prioritise his work over your commitments.
“Y/N-”
“I think we should put some distance between us for a bit. I need to get my head straight.” You say firmly through the stuffiness of your throat. He gapes, unable to come up with something to say, his own eyes brimming with tears.
“No, please. I don’t want to put distance between us, Y/N. You’re my best friend- I can’t do this without you, y’know.” His speech is frantic now. The word best friend drives an imaginary stake through the centre of your chest.
“You have other friends, Harry. Lots of other friends, that apparently you have more time for than me.”
The taxi, or rather, Harry’s casual chauffeur, mounts the gravel, signalling the end of a conversation.
“Y/N, let me come with you, I have something important to talk to you about-”
“I don’t want you to come with me.” You say quietly. I do.
“Please.” He tries again, eyes bloodshot and teary. This strikes up the waterworks in your body as well, and you simply shake your head, climbing into the back and slamming the door.
“Hi, Y/N.” Harry’s driver greets you through the mirror, and you smile back, asking him politely to take you home.
As he’s pulling out from the parking spot, you glance out the window with bleary eyes and jot tears streaming down your face, seeing Harry stood there like a ghost. His posture makes him seem defeated, eyes looking at the back window sadly, unable to see you through the blackout of the glass.
In the rear view mirror you see Jeff stalk outside, and although they’re far, you don’t miss him embrace Harry tightly, prompting you to look away and grip his jumper between your fingers, thinking about the words Sarah said to you.
,,Hellbound’’
Part One.
Synopsis: Christopher fucking Sturniolo. A name Camila couldn’t stand. No, not for any normal reason. She didn’t hate him because he had everything she didn’t. She didn’t hate him because he’s too damn confident. No, she hated him because of how much she wanted him.
Pairing: Chris Sturniolo (he/him) x Camila Solan (she/her)
Warnings: Cussing, Suggestive content, drugs, and alcohol.
Did Chris have to be like.. this? He shouldn’t be. He shouldn’t be allowed to do this to her. Camila had such a strong hatred for Chris, but she loved him. She loved him so much, but she couldn’t have him.
Camila has been best friends with Nick since freshman year of highschool. He never had her meet his brothers, worried that one of them would get with her and it would ruin their friendship. Nick quickly realized how stupid that was, and just decided to let them meet.
They met at a party. Maybe, just maybe, if thats when they hadn’t met, Camila wouldn’t despise the boy as much as she does. Maybe he wouldn’t bother constantly picking fights with her now.
She had met Matt first, and he was a very sweet boy. She liked Matt. Not as much as she hated Chris, though. She met the boy as he was smoking a joint with his best friend Nate. He was drunk and high, so maybe thats not how he normally acted.
‘‘Hey. Your cute- Nick-‘ he hiccuped before continuing. ‘Nick’s friend, r-right?’’
He didn’t even do anything wrong. He didn’t say anything wrong. He looked at her. He didn’t give her a ‘normal’ look. No. He looked at her like no one else had before. Like he was a starved lion, and she was his prey.
By the look he gave her, she could tell, he wanted her- but he wasn’t going to give himself away that easy, and neither was she.
All the two do now is argue and flirt with each other. It’s an odd mixture of the two, but they can’t hold a conversation without either yelling or getting too close to making out, so Matt and Nick have just accepted it.
They know one day Camila and Chris will get together, but the two are convinced their love is hell-bound, and will never happen.
Here they were, sitting in their hot tub together. They share a house, Matt, her, Nick, and of course, Chris. They’ve all been best friends for such a long time-besides Camila and Chris- so what was stopping them from moving in together?
Camila sighed, feeling the hot water on her skin. She was very impatiently waiting for Nick and Matt to hurry the fuck up, because she was tired of sitting out here alone, with him.
“How god damn long does it take for someone to just put on a fucking swimsuit.?” She rolled her eyes, and Chris chuckled.
“Your so damn impatient. Who knows what happened, its Nick and Matt. They’re literally the slowest people I know.” Chris snapped back, and Camila didn’t know weather to just ignore him or antagonize more.
“Yeah, yeah. Whatever, Chris. I don’t even wanna hear it.” She rolled her eyes, and he glared at her.
“Then why’d you start? Hm?” He tilted his head. “You seem to listen to everything I say, though. Don’t you?” He slowly moved closer, and Camila furrowed her eyebrows.
“What the fuck, Chris? Stop looking at me like you wanna fuck me, and stop talking to me like you are fucking me.” She pushed him back by his chest, and he laughed.
“Oh, please. You and I both know that I could have you on your knees in a second.” He taunted.
“I knew you had a big ego, but not that big,” Cami retorted.
“Don’t worry, darling. My cock is much bigger than my ego.” Chris smirked. Cami was at a loss of words. Sure, she could say,
‘That’s pretty hard to believe, Sturniolo.’
or,
‘All of the sudden, you have such a small ego.’
or even,
‘Yeah? Wanna prove it?’
But no.
For some reason, he had a choke hold on her. She couldn’t say anything. She looked into his eyes, trying her best to not let her jaw fall slack.
“Cat got your tongue?” Chris teased, and his attention quickly got taken from her, and put to his brothers as the two emerged from the house.
She let her eyes trail down his body, since he wasn’t so focused on her now. He was sitting on the built in seats in the hot tub, his head facing his brothers as they made their way to the tub.
She admired his soft brown hair, his pointy nose, his sharp jawline. As her eyes trailed down, she soaked in more and more about him. His adams apple, his collarbones, his biceps. The way his stomach was perfectly toned, yet the boy did nothing to keep himself in shape. He sat around all day eating canes and drinking pepsi.
“Hey, Cami?” Nick called out, waving his hand in front of his friend.
“oh- sorry. what?” she asked; looking at the boy that was right next to him now. When did he just show up there? She glanced back over by Chris, who was now accompanied by Matt.
Matt was talking to Chris, but the younger didn’t seem to be paying much attention. Instead, his eyes were locked with Cami’s. She felt her cheeks heat up, and she quickly turned to Nick, to engage in a conversation, hoping that she could ignore Chris staring at her.
“Sorry, Sorry- one more time?” Cami says, completely cutting Nick off mid-sentence. She had no clue what the boy was saying whatsoever. She was way too focused on his brother. His stupid fucking brother.
“Cami. I’m going to loose my fucking mind.” Nick sighs, rubbing his face with his hands. “Stop eye-fucking Chris, and listen to me. Okay?” Nick said nonchalantly. Cami’s jaw dropped as she gasped.
“What!” She yelled defensively. “We are not eye fucking, Nick!” Cami furrows her eyebrows, and Nick glares at her.
“Okay. Whatever floats your boat. May I continue?” Nick asks, and Cami looks over at Chris and Matt, who were both trying to
“Chris! Tell him we weren’t!” She demands the boy.
“Well, I dunno about you, but…” Chris trails off, And Matt lost it. The poor boy was gasping for air, and Chris quickly joined him in the laughter.
“What the fuck, Chris?” Cami didn’t know what to feel, but she sure as hell didn’t wanna sit here awkwardly as Chris was ‘eye fucking’ her, so she stood up, and got out of the hot tub.
Without a word, she grabbed her towel and made her way into the house, heading for her room. She just wanted to shower and sleep. Not to deal with all that.. chaos.
She walked inside quickly. She wasn’t mad at Chris, she was upset with him, more or less. She hates how he thinks he can just make jokes like that in front of his brothers- and her best friends.
It disgusted her, but she couldn’t blame him. She can’t hate him.
She was grabbing a water out of the fridge, when she heard the door open and close.
“Hey, Cams,” Matt spoke softly. She knew it was him, he was the only one who called her that. ‘Cams’. She loved it.
“Hey, Matt.” Cami turned around to face the boy.
“Chris ‘s sorry. You know he didn’t mean it,” Matt smiled, placing a hand on her shoulder. He understands that she likes him, and he understands why it hurts her when he makes jokes like that, but he also knows how head over heels Chris is for Cami. No matter how much he tries, they both refuse to ask one another out. In their words, they’re
‘Not meant to be.’
half & half. part 004. previous
warnings: unedited LOL, getting drugged (not reader), alcohol, fighting (when is there not), party things, rafe being out of character, lmk if i missed anything
main masterlist. obx masterlist.
After you and JJ’s fight, you both ignored each other’s existence. The last time you guys had gotten into a fight this bad was right after you moved to Figure 8. The only person who was there to witness it was John B, so he had some experience it.
The only advice he told them was to never get involved. And what did they do? The exact opposite.
Kie drove her and Pope over to your house and decided the best way to get the Pogues back together was to talk to the most reasonable of the pair; you.
Kie parked her car and her and Pope got out of the house. Pope gaped at the big house, his mouth open. "I never realized how rich Y/N was."
"The L/N's are like the second richest family because of her dad's business. They might be equally as rich as the Cameron's and that's saying a lot." Kie explained as they walked to your door. She rang the doorbell and waited for someone to answer.
Y/N's mom opened the door, a surprised look on her face quickly morphing into a delighted one once she realized it was Kie. "Good afternoon, Kiara. Wonderful to see you." She turned to Pope. "And you, too."
They both smiled. "Good to see you too, Mrs. L/N. Um, we were wondering where Y/N was?"
"She's in the back with Sarah." Your mom grinned, opening the door. Kie almost rolled her eyes but Pope made sure to give her a warning look. Kie almost just walked out right then and there but she remembered what was on the line here.
She loved Y/N and JJ and she knew that she'd have to choose if they didn't make up - they were both extremely stubborn (not to mention petty) so they would make the Pogues choose. Kie took a deep breathe, getting herself ready to see her ex-best friend.
Pope and Kie walked into the backyard, hearing laughter before turning to see the pair. Kie resisted an eye roll. You turned to them and grinned before getting up. Sarah's smile faded, opting to stare out to the pool instead of them.
"Kie! Pope!" You went up to them, giving them each a huge.
Kie smiled, "Hey Y/N! Um, how have you been?"
"Great, you?"
"We've been, um. Pretty good." Pope answered before getting a subtle nudge from Kie. "Uh! Actually, we've been sad. Cus of you and JJ."
You looked really confused before Kie decided to take over.
"What Pope means is," she gave him a glare. "Is that it hasn't been the same without you. More quiet, you know?"
"Uh, yeah. I understand." You said, nodding. Sarah was suddenly interested. You had never mentioned a fight with JJ, or a big one for that matter. And she was your best friend, how could she not tell you?
Kie smiled, giving you an awkward pat. "Have you talked to JJ?"
"No." You shook your head.
"Maybe you should apologize?" Pope finally spoke, making you furrow your brows. Kie glared at him for what seems like the millionth time that day.
"Me? Why should I apologize, I didn't even do anything wrong."
Sarah got up and stood next to Y/N, making Kie roll her eyes. "What happened?"
"Nothing that has anything do with you," Kie quickly responded, earning a bitter frown from you.
"Kie, don't talk to her like that, okay? Not in front of me." You spoke as Kie let out a scoff.
"Y/N-"
Pope quickly grabbed Kie, making her stay quiet before she said anything she regretted. "Maybe we should come back. Y/N, think about what we said, okay?"
You took a deep breathe, relaxing a bit and nodding. "Yeah, we'll talk later."
They walked away and you heard Kie mumble something under her breathe. You gave Sarah a reassuring smile as you guys sat down. She slowly returned it, sighing.
"Did you get into a fight with JJ and not tell me?"
You instantly tensed back up again. You didn't purposely not tell Sarah, it just hadn't come up. Well, it sort of was intentional. You knew that Rafe and Sarah had a rocky relationship and you didn't want to be in the middle of it.
You also didn't tell her about the night you helped him and honestly, you didn't want to explain everything right now. It was hard enough for you to understand, imagine how Sarah would react.
"Yeah, but I..." You paused. "I just don't want to talk about it, I haven't even processed it myself."
Sarah nodded. She was obviously curious and she wanted to know how bad it was. The last bad fight you'd gotten in with JJ, you went to her house crying. She has an idea on how to help you but she will wait til you asked.
She took your hand and smiled, squeezing it. "Whenever you're ready, Y/N/N."
Tumblr media
The music could be heard from a block away as Y/N drove towards it. Sarah's friend had invited you two to her big birthday party and since you hadn't had a drink since the summer had begun, you decided this was the best time to get sloppy drunk because you don't have work for the next two days.
You both walked in the party, Drake booming from the speakers. You led Sarah hand-in-hand to the drink's table. "What do you want drink?"
You looked at Sarah, eyebrows furrowed. "What?"
"What do you want to drink?!" She screamed and you finally nodded in understanding. You then walked so that you were right to next her.
"I don't care as long as I get blackout drunk." You stated, earning a laugh and nod from Sarah. She then handed you a mystery drink and you immediately took a taste. You scrunched your nose and shook your head in disgust at the bitter taste. "Put some more punch."
After you guys got your drinks, you went into the backyard because the house was humid and warm from the amount of people in the house.
As you went outside, you saw the group of boys you had seen at the club. Kelce, Topper and Rafe. You hadn't seen him since the fight before and you were anxious to see him again. Your heart started to beat faster and Sarah noticed.
"You okay?"
You nodded, "Yeah, uh the alcohol is starting to work." You laughed nervously. She nodded, unconvinced. But she wasn't really focused on you right now, she added this to things to tomorrow morning's debrief.
She noticed Topper and she rolled her eyes. "Guess what I found out."
You guys started walking towards the pool chairs, sitting. "What?"
"Topper took another girl on a date a few days ago." Sarah next to you.
You gasped and shook your head, taking a drink. "What a bitch! Who?"
"Maya Cafincy or something weird like that." Sarah rolled her eyes as you nodded.
"Oh yeah, her. She was in my AP Stats class, she was smart."
Sarah glared at you.
"Not as smart as you, though." You added. "I don't why Topper would do that."
"Yeah, me neither." Sarah frowned.
"You know what you should do?"
"What?"
"Find a really cute boy," you put your hands on hers, "and make him jealous."
Sarah looked shocked but then she started to nod, getting up. "Yeah, you're right! If he can go flirt with other girls after our date then I can too!"
You nodded, "Yes! Good idea, Sarah." You got up, clasping your hand in hers. "Let's go find you a loyal man!"
After a few glances at the boys, she find a cute boy. You recognized him and realized he was a really smart sophomore boy from last year who was in your chemistry class. You immediately approved because you remember he was a nice boy.
He and Sarah hit it off quickly, they sat at a table and started talking, making you third wheel. You decided to give them some alone time and started to get some drinks.
You walked to the drink table to refill your cup. You felt someone tap on your shoulder and you turned to see Rafe. Your eyes winded before you swallowed.
He smiled, "Hey, uh. Haven't seen you in a while!"
He looked a little too optimistic, you guessed it was just the alcohol. "Hey, yeah."
He pulled you in by the arm, closer. "I wanted to thank you for the other night." Your heart sped up at the proximity. You felt your cheeks at the warmth.
You shook your head, "no need to thank me."
"No, no. I do, not everyone would've done what you did especially for me."
You scoffed, "Of course everyone has a little human decency. And you aren't that bad, Rafe. Promise."
He was looking so deeply in your eyes, you swore that you were going to pass out. Then you heard some whooping behind you and you both turned around, seeing Rafe's friends laughing at him.
He rolled his eyes in annoyance, before sighing and grabbing your hand. "Let's go somewhere else, okay?"
You nodded, butterflies erupting in your stomach in nervousness. You hadn't felt this nervous since opening your acceptance letter. He walked you both out to the pool.
He took a seat in the pool chairs and you sat in front of him. There weren't a lot of people outside, opting to be inside where the drinks are.
You both sat in silence before he spoke again, looking away from you and at the pool. "I'm sorry if I caused anything with you and JJ."
You shook your head, "it's fine. He gets sensitive when it comes to the Kooks, he thinks that I chose you over him."
Rafe nodded, "Yeah. I don't why he hates us."
You almost laughed at his comment, knowing that the Kooks (and Rafe, at times) treat the Pogues like shit. "I mean, you guys tend to be... you know, asshole-ish."
He turned back to you, his lips tightened in annoyance. "Well-"
"You guys are assholes to Pogues, I've seen it, Rafe."
He sighed and shrugged, "I guess."
You laughed, "Guess?"
He turned back, "Fine, we can be assholes sometimes."
You laughed at his words and Rafe felt his heart jump at the sound. The more he listened, the more his lips quirked up. He looked at down at his lap, trying to avoid your gaze.
You turned your gaze back to Rafe, suddenly feeling a ounce of dread. You felt like you were betraying Sarah by just being there, not to mention JJ.
"I really didn't mean to like, cause anything-"
"Rafe, you didn't. You just helped me and that was a kind thing to do, not everyone would've done that. Don't apologize, okay?" You said rapidly, making him look up to you.
"Kind? You think I'm kind?"
Your face felt warm and suddenly you were stuttering trying to say something, looking away from his piercing gaze. You exhaled before continuing, "Yeah, Rafe. I mean, it was brave what you did. I know everyone thinks that you're some big old scary guy but I know you have a kind heart. I mean the way you treat Wheezie, or even Sarah sometimes, proves it. And especially what you did for me."
Rafe smiled and he didn't even know he was doing it. His heart felt warm at the way you described him. It sure as hell wasn't like the way anyone else has ever done before.
The silence made you anxious but as soon as you saw that big smile, you felt your heart do a little cartwheel at the sight. You made Rafe smile, now that's definitely a skill.
"Thank you, Y/N. I mean it, I would've died-"
He was instantly cut off the sound of glass breaking, making you guys both jump. You had a really bad feeling and you hastily got up and ran into the house, Rafe following you.
Your heart dropped once you realized it was where you left Sarah and that boy alone.
"I saw you put something in her drink!" A girl shouted and you quickly walked over, seeing some glass broken on the ground and Sarah laying down on the couch, seemingly unconscious. Your head starting racing as you saw her and you pushed people to get to her spot.
"What the fuck happened?" You heard Rafe yell but you were only focused on Sarah. She looked conscious but she wasn't responding to anything you were saying.
"Hey!" You got up from your seat and found the guy you were with. "What the fuck did you do?"
"Nothing!"
"Nothing?" You screamed, grabbing his shirt and then pushing him backwards into the chairs. "Then why is she unconscious on the fucking couch? What did you put in her drink?"
"I'm going to call the police..." The girl who was with them previously said, grabbing her phone, causing the boy to jump and grab it out of her hand.
"No one is calling anyone-"
"Hey, didn't I ask you a fucking question?"
He slammed the phone into the ground before grabbing your arm, twisting it as you yelped in pain. "Why are you acting like such a fucking bitch? My god, it's like you people haven't seen a roofie before!"
Before you can get out of his grasp you heard someone come up behind you, "Don't touch her, you fucking asshole."
Rafe grabbed your arm out of his grasp, making you back up into the crowd before Rafe goes for a loud punch. The guy went flying back into the chairs, causing them to fall down with him in them. "You roofie my fucking sister and you have the nerve to fucking defend yourself?"
Rafe went over to the boy and took his collar into his hands, giving him another strong punch after another. You almost wanted to stop him until you saw Sarah again on the couch. You can't believe you left her all alone and she got roofied. You can't help but feel responsible.
You heard some shouting and you looked up to see Topper and Kelce trying to break up Rafe from the boy. You went over to Sarah as you saw some people leaving and you realized that someone had called the cops.
You grabbed Sarah and tried to get her up on her feet.
"Lay off, Topper!" You heard Rafe shout and you looked back to see him approaching you and Sarah. Without saying a word, he took Sarah from you and carried her in his arms. You noticed his bloody knuckles but chose to say nothing. You wanted to smile at such a warm gesture from Rafe but you didn't think that would be the best idea under the circumstances.
"Let's get her home."
Even though it wasn't the best idea, you decided to drive home. Out of all you three, you were conscious and not completely drunk.
As you arrived at the Cameron's, you got out of the car to help them into the house but it seemed like Rafe had it handled. You walked into the quiet house and realized Ward and Rose were asleep. You were grateful that you didn't have to explain this sticky situation to them.
Rafe went up the stairs as quietly as he could and you were close behind. You opened the door and you both walked in and he slowly dropped her on the bed. You knelt down and took off her shoes and socks and then you went up.
Rafe was about to walk out before you whispered, "Wait."
He instantly turned back, his heart racing as he looked at you.
"Let me help you... um, with your knuckles. Just wait here with Sarah."
He nodded as you got up and walked out into the big house, trying to find the bandage kit. You found it in the bathroom and you went back into Sarah's room, seeing that Rafe had tucked in Sarah. You smiled at the sight. He looked back to see you and you turned away awkwardly, clearing your throat before walking in.
You sat at the edge of bed next to Rafe. You both stared at each other before he slowly gave you his hand. You absentmindedly caressed it before getting some alcohol on a cotton round and rubbing it on the wound.
Rafe slightly winced at the pain, "Sorry."
He shook his head, "All good." He watched you focus on cleaning the wound and he felt his cheeks turn red at proximity. He saw your a piece of your hair fall and he took his other hand, brushing it out of your face. You looked up, seeing Rafe's lips move into a smile.
You smiled back before turning your gaze back to his hand, finally putting his bandage back on.
Then you felt Sarah move and let out a small whimper, causing you both to whip your heads towards her. You went over to Sarah, "Hey, you feeling alright?"
"What happened?" Her voice was gruff and raspy and you felt your heart break. She doesn't even remember it. The guilt of not being with her to protect her came back and you sat down on the bed next to her, taking her hand.
"Uh, that guy. Do you remember him putting anything in your drink?"
She shook her head, instantly sitting up in alarm. "No... Did he put anything in my drink?"
"Yes, and I'm so sorry for not being there. I should've been there-"
"Y/N," Rafe said, making Sarah look back at him in confusion. "It wasn't your fault."
You wanted to cry right there. "Sarah, I-"
"I love you, Y/N." Sarah managed to choke out. She was the verge of tears too. "Did he do anything or..."
"No, no. We got there before he did anything. Me and Rafe got you home safe, alright?"
She smiled at that. You could sense her restless and you got up, "Go to bed, Sarah, okay? We'll talk about this tomorrow."
"Wait, can you..." She paused. "Can you stay in here?"
You looked over at Rafe and he nodded. You sat back down, taking your shoes off. "Yeah, of course."
She scooched over and you opened the sheets and went in, laying down next to her.
"I love you, too, Sarah. I will never let anything like that ever happen again." You whispered and she grabbed your hand and held it.
Elvis was throwing a small party for wrapping up the filming of 'Viva Las Vegas'. He invited the Memphis mafia and a few cast members which included Ann Margaret. You weren't too happy about her being there. You had been dating Elvis for a few years and everything was going so well until she came along. Whilst filming the movie Ann teased and flirted with Elvis multiple times and the worst part for you was Elvis doing it right back. Even when you were on set a few times, they continued to flirt. You tried bringing it up, but Elvis brushed it off as it was 'just a part of getting into the role'. So obviously you hadn't been very fond of Elvis either lately. And you made sure to make it obvious to him. You had been very distant to him.
You talked to him before the party and explained exactly how you felt about what had been going on. Yet this time he understood and listened. He even promised to keep you near him the entire time to show he wanted nothing to do with Ann.
So here you were sitting across the room from Ann, sitting on Elvis his thigh. His arm wrapped around your waist to keep you as close as possible. He was being extra affectionate and kissed you multiple times. Every now and then Ann would give you a judging glare. She had a tendency of being mean to you, but you couldn't care less.
You listened to Elvis and listened to his friends talk, ignoring and avoiding her as much as possible. Until they started talking about the cute moments Ann and Elvis had on set. You felt like a ghost at that moment. Could they not see you sitting right there? Elvis moved his hand up and down your waist in a comforting way.
You looked at Ann and she had a stupid smug expression. She kept going on and on about Elvis and it was starting to piss you off. Anger poured through you and you knew you had to leave the room or else things wouldn't go too well. So you stood up and walked into the kitchen just to calm your mind for a second. You stood there and drank some water and calmly made your way back into the room.
As you got closer you heard Ann talking to Elvis about you. Elvis didn't sound very interested in the conversation and kept telling Ann to stop talking about you. Ann of course didn't. You didn't understand how someone could be so hostile.
You entered the room again and just as you did, you heard Ann say something rude about you. According to her, you weren't a good lover and didn't understand Elvis. Hearing her say that made you go insane.
Elvis looked up at you and noticed the look on your face. "Baby.." He started but you ignored him. You walked over to her breathless with anger. You stood in front of her staring her down. "What did you say." You asked her, feeling rage taking you over. "I said you're not a good lover." She replied smirking at how riled up you were because of her. You felt humiliated by her.
Right there something snapped in you and anger ran through you like lava. Before you knew it you were beating her up. A silence fell over the room, everyone giving you horrified looks. They panicked and didn't know what to do. You heard your boyfriend say something, but you couldn't understand. Your ears were ringing and everything sounded like it came through a haze.
You continued your attack on her and all of a sudden you were pulled away. Elvis his big arms wrapped around you and pulled you off of her. You were afraid to look at him, you felt he was going to be upset and disappointed. You stared at the boys in front of you. They were kneeling in front of Ann and making sure she was alright. You caught a glimpse of Ann her face and you smiled when you noticed she had a bloody nose, her white dress now blood-stained.
Elvis carried you out of the room and went upstairs. Once he walked into the bedroom he set you down on the bed and stood in front of you. You sat there looking up at him, feeling a little afraid of what was about to come. You looked into his eyes. His eyes were looking down at you dull with disappointment. He shook his head before finally speaking.
"What is wrong with you." He spoke and you opened your mouth to reply but before you could say anything he cut you off. He raised his hand. "No. I don't want to hear it." He said and sat down next to you. He sighed and hid his face in his hands. He felt ashamed at that moment. You looked at him and felt so stupid. You disappointed him. You let your anger control your actions and nothing good came from it. "I'm really sorry." You said softly.
He dropped his hands and looked at you. He nodded. "I know." He replied softly and placed his hand on your thigh, rubbing it gently. "I'm not mad at you." He said, giving you a soft smile. "She was being a bit of a bitch wasn't she?" He chuckled and you nodded. "It was a bad idea inviting her." You replied.
"I know baby." He said and nodded. "But I had to, she was my co-star."
"I guess you're right."
Elvis got closer to you and wrapped his arms around you again. Pulling you in for a hug. You rested your head on his chest and felt his heartbeat fasten. You smiled to yourself as you hugged him back tightly.
"I've never seen you angry before." He said softly, resting his head against yours. You hummed in response. "I liked it." He said and smirked. He broke off the hug and stared deeply into your eyes. "Think I need to put you back in your place for that outburst there." He said and stood up in front of you, he was towering over you as always. You looked up at him with doe eyes, smiling knowing what was about to go down. He placed his finger under your chin and kissed you deeply.
Elvis pushed you down into the mattress and climbed on top of you. You felt like the room was spinning as he started kissing you. Soft moans were leaving his and your mouth. You both needed each other desperately. His big hands wandered your body and one made its way up to your neck softly choking you as he deepened the kiss. It felt as if a match was lit inside you, but it was immediately blown out as he broke off the kiss.
You whined softly and he chuckled at your desperate state. "Need you to be patient for me." He said softly and buried his head in your neck. Placing soft kisses on your neck. You ran your fingers through his hair, but he stopped you. He grabbed both of your wrists in one hand and pinned them down above your head. "Mm, none of that." He says grinning at you and kissing your neck again. He made his way down your chest and stopped. He pulled you up again so you were sitting and he got behind you. Unzipping your dress and slowly pulling it down your body. He placed kisses along your shoulder and a few down your back.
He threw the dress on the floor. He stared down at your body and smiled. "So pretty mama." He said and slowly unclasped your bra taking it off too along with your panties. You were now fully exposed to him and laid back down again. He got on top of you and started kissing down your body again teasingly. You felt his body pressed against yours, exposing how hard he was for you. You whined. "Want me that bad huh?" He said smirking. You nodded. "Nuh uh say it. Use that pretty mouth." Elvis says running his thumb along your bottom lip.
"Want you so badly." You said softly and he nodded in approval. He starts unbuttoning his pants and slides them off swiftly. His throbbing erection sprang up freely. Elvis got closer to you again kissing your neck as he rubbed his tip between your lips teasingly. You whined loudly as he slid into your pussy, feeling the burn of him stretching you out.
"Yeah, you like that huh mama?" He says looking deep into your eyes and smirking. He started moving inside you slowly, making sure you felt every bump and vein on his cock. "Yeah." You replied softly, feeling so dizzy and unable to speak as he slides in and out of you slowly.
He leaned down to give you a sloppy wet kiss. You placed your hands on the back of his head and he immediately broke the kiss off, shaking his head. "You've done enough with those hands today." He said and pinned your wrists above your head once again. He kissed you again and finally sped up his actions. The room was filled with loud moans and slapping skin. You were sure everyone downstairs could hear the two of you, but that was the least of your concerns right now.
He groaned loudly as he hit a deep spot inside of you making you clench around him. Elvis let go of your wrists and pulled your legs up high around his waist. Giving him a new and even deeper angle inside of you. He thrusts hard and roughly into you, making you moan loudly. "Such a bad girl, beating other girls up f'me." He says and he brings his hand up, wrapping it around your neck to choke you again. You moaned again loudly unable to form any words in response.
Elvis continued his rough attack inside of you and you closed your eyes, pleasure taking you over. He placed one of your legs on his shoulder and started thrusting fast inside of you. You looked into his eyes. You whimpered loudly as he hit a spot inside of you that made you see stars. "That's the spot huh?" He says smiling as he watches your face contort into pleasure. "So tight." He says as he hit the spot over and over again. You can't help but moan loudly as he does.
He attached his lips to the soft skin on your neck, sucking harshly. He pulled back and moved his hand down to your clit, slowly rubbing it but putting pressure. "I'm gonna cum." You say, your voice sounding harsh from all the moaning. "Do it baby, cum for me." He says and thrusts harder into you, fastening the circles he rubs on your clit. "Say you're mine." You said.
You moaned loudly as your climax got closer and closer. "Ah, I'm all yours," Elvis says loudly and you smile at him. That was all you needed to go over the edge. You moaned loudly as you clenched around his cock. His thrusts were starting to get slower and more sloppy. It hit you hard and you rode out your orgasm. At some point, you saw stars.
Elvis began moaning softly into your ear as his orgasm washed over him as well. He came deep inside of you and collapsed on top of you. His head resting on your breast. The two of you panting heavily as you came down from your orgasm. You played with his hair as he laid there.
You chuckled. "Think she knows who you belong to now." Elvis nodded sitting up and pulling out of you. "Yeah baby.. All yours." He says and kisses you passionately.
