Harriyanna Hook descendants designs by Rose Sparrow
Tumblr media
what at first was just me having some fun, turned into an early bday gift for ms @harriyanna~!!! happy birthday!!!! this was really fun to do and i think the only thing that gave me trouble was the bread this down dress, not the dress itself but its color pallet-the top was originally a brighter pink but i felt that didn't mesh well with the rest of the designs and felt more ‘Auradon’ than vk/isle, so boop bap turned it black and the belt black too~ and aaahhh~~~ i love it all~
D2 is based on her Harriyanna Hook cosplay Harri did a while back, and D3 beyond is mostly from my Poyw Rose outfit Pinterest board cuz idk rose has a good fashion sense XD i wanted to give her a constant corset theme since her harri cosplay had that gorgeous full corset, so i gave that to her two main designs from d2, and continued than into a below the bust corset for her main d3 look, which turned into a bust only corset/top for btd~!!!
i very much tried to give her, her very own vibe/character instead of trying to turn her into a copy of someone else, because like my Rose, i think Harri is inspired by Harry, but i didnt wanna just-copy paste his vibes onto Harri...so i hope that came across correctly lol. gave her a bitchin sword for its goin down, and her braids for d3 since i based her d2 look off the cosplay shoot, which then her hair was not in braids :p
again, this was alot of fun and im glad i did it.
now! its off to bed, since i have work tomorrow and i would like to get up at an appropriate time so i have more free time in the morning before work.

....Why did Rise of Red make Queen of Hearts into the Kool Aid Man??? Where are the other colors in her design??? What happened to the card colors palette with the red??? It worked so well in comparison to...basically too much red in a design.

Eclectic and bombastic gameplay are present at the core of Bangai-O Spirits, but it also possesses a unique and fascinating approach to community level creation and sharing. Players are able to construct their own missions with an in-game level editor, and upon completing it’s setup they can then have the game output a sound file. This audio can then be provided to other players, either by playing it out loud or sharing the saved recording in other ways. This provides a lightweight and difficult to fully decrypt way of sharing player information, while maintaining play consistency by not allowing any sound to be used therein.

REAL ESTATE BUSINESS IN DUBAI, DOWNTOWN / DESIGN DISTRICT
Life in Dubai: Where Opulence Meets Innovation in Downtown and Design District
Dubai, the city of towering skyscrapers, dazzling lights, and seemingly endless luxury, holds two distinct gems within its heart: Downtown Dubai and Dubai Design District (d3). While both share the vibrant pulse of the city, each offers a unique flavor of life, attracting residents seeking different experiences. So, which one might suit you better? Let's explore the essence of life in each:
Downtown Dubai: A Symphony of Luxury and Convenience
Imagine stepping out your door and being greeted by the Burj Khalifa piercing the clouds, the Dubai Mall offering an endless array of designer brands, and the Dubai Fountain captivating you with its choreographed water dance. This is the quintessential Downtown Dubai experience. Life here is fast-paced, opulent, and dripping with convenience. Luxury apartments with breathtaking views, Michelin-starred restaurants, and designer boutiques are your everyday companions.
Living the high life: Residents in Downtown enjoy effortless living. Everything is a stone's throw away, from world-class entertainment like Dubai Opera to iconic landmarks like Dubai Museum. Whether you crave a quick grocery run or a lavish spa treatment, there's an option for every whim. Connectivity is seamless, with efficient public transport and readily available taxis.
The flip side of opulence: Life in Downtown comes with a hefty price tag. Rents are notoriously high, and the constant buzz of activity can be overwhelming for those seeking quieter spaces. While family-friendly options exist, the focus on luxury caters more to young professionals and jet-setters seeking a vibrant, fast-paced lifestyle.
Dubai Design District: Where Creativity Collides with Community
Tucked away on the banks of Dubai Creek, d3 offers a starkly different atmosphere. Vibrant street art adorns repurposed warehouses, trendy cafes buzz with creative energy, and independent design studios showcase innovative ideas. Here, life pulsates with a creative heartbeat, attracting artists, entrepreneurs, and design enthusiasts.
Cultivating creativity: Artists find an inspiring haven in d3, with dedicated studios, co-working spaces, and regular exhibitions fostering collaboration and growth. The community spirit is strong, with events and workshops bringing people together to share ideas and support each other's endeavors. Families are welcome, with the relaxed atmosphere and focus on art offering a unique upbringing.
Finding balance: Life in d3 is more affordable than Downtown, with a mix of residential options catering to diverse budgets. While amenities aren't as readily available, the walkable community vibe makes exploring a pleasure. The pace is slower, encouraging residents to connect with themselves and their surroundings.
Choosing your Dubai:
Ultimately, the "better" place to live depends on your personal preferences and priorities. Do you crave the convenience and luxury of Downtown, or the creative energy and community spirit of d3?
For the:
Young professional or jet-setter: Downtown's fast-paced, luxurious lifestyle beckons.
Family seeking a unique upbringing: d3's artistic community and slower pace offer a different perspective.
Passionate artist or entrepreneur: d3's collaborative atmosphere fuels creative pursuits.
Budget-conscious individual: d3 offers more affordable options while still providing access to Dubai's attractions.
Beyond the divide:
While both Downtown and d3 exist as distinct entities, they are interwoven into the fabric of Dubai. Residents can effortlessly experience both worlds, with convenient access and a shared cultural pulse. So, whether you choose the opulent symphony of Downtown or the creative melody of d3, remember that the true magic of Dubai lies in its ability to cater to diverse desires, offering a unique experience for everyone.

My favorite design trope is when a character normally dressed in fancy/formal attire wears casual clothes that retains elements of their original outfits but still unique enough to stand on its own.

DUBAI DESIGN DISTRICT d3
LIFE IN DUBAI: DESIGN DISTRICT
Living in the Dubai Design District: A Creative Oasis in the City
Yes, you absolutely can live in the Dubai Design District (d3)! In fact, it's becoming an increasingly popular choice for residents seeking a unique and vibrant lifestyle that blends community, creativity, and a touch of urban edge. Here's what you can expect:
Life in d3:
Creative Atmosphere: Immerse yourself in the energy of artists, designers, and entrepreneurs. Galleries, studios, and workshops line the streets, fostering a sense of artistic vibrancy.
Community Spirit: d3 cultivates a tight-knit community where residents connect, collaborate, and celebrate each other's creative pursuits. Events, workshops, and gatherings foster a sense of belonging.
Slower Pace: Compared to the frenetic energy of Downtown Dubai, d3 offers a more relaxed lifestyle, perfect for those seeking a calmer environment. Stroll down the streets, enjoy quiet cafes, and appreciate the artistic surroundings.
Family-Friendly Vibe: While primarily attracting young professionals and creatives, d3 is increasingly welcoming families. Playgrounds, green spaces, and child-friendly cafes create a comfortable environment for raising children.

Types of Properties:
Apartments: From modern studios to spacious lofts and family-friendly units, d3 offers a variety of apartments catering to different lifestyles and budgets. Many boast stunning views of the Dubai skyline or landscaped courtyards.
Townhouses: Enjoy the privacy and space of multi-level townhouses, often featuring private gardens and terraces. Ideal for families or those seeking a more independent living experience.
Villas: For ultimate luxury, d3 offers a limited selection of spacious and prestigious villas, perfect for those desiring exclusivity and ample living space.
Considerations:
Limited Availability: With growing popularity, residential options in d3 can be limited and in high demand. It's advisable to plan your move in advance and be prepared for competitive searches.
Rental Costs: While generally more affordable than Downtown Dubai, d3 still holds premium appeal with higher rents compared to other city areas.
Limited Amenities: Compared to Downtown, d3 offers fewer immediately available amenities like supermarkets and large retailers. However, its walkable nature and proximity to various city areas compensate for this.
Overall, living in the Dubai Design District offers a unique and enriching experience for those seeking a creative, community-driven, and vibrant lifestyle. While availability and costs require careful consideration, the charm and appeal of d3 make it a truly special place to call home.

Leaning back against your chair you stared at Nobara’s phone in her hand, Maki leaning in from her other side. “What’d he say?” you asked. Maki hummed in agreement to your statement, also curious as to find out what was going on. “He’s being annoying, i’m telling you he’s so dry,” she answered you. Nobara sighed before putting her phone down, straightening her posture and crossing her legs. “Whatever, we’re starting soon so let’s just see how he does.” Unlocking her phone, Maki replied, “I wonder if he even practiced for this.”
Soon enough you heard Gojo’s voice begin to speak, looking up at how in the center of lined up chairs in front of you, a black table was placed. There he sat in the middle holding the microphone into which he was speaking to. Utahime, the other fashion teacher, sat to his right, always looking more professional than him. To his left was Suguru Geto, you didn’t take any of his classes but knew he was a well liked film teacher and apparently Yuta’s favorite. “Alright fashion students! We will be beginning the model auditions now. We ask that you remain quite and respectful throughout the show. Remember that these people are here for you, so please show your appreciation of them.” he leaned the microphone over to his right, “Anything you’d like to add Utahime?” he asked while holding his signature smirk. “Oh um…” she began, looking startled and caught off guard. “Good luck.. choosing your models.” Gojo took the microphone back, “Alright thank you for those motivational words miss! Now Geto here will be filming the auditions and as promised before, all designers will have the chance to look at the headshots and filmed photography after the audition, because we will be providing these we ask that you guys refrain from filming anything on personal devices. I think that’s all, soooo with that being said.. let’s begin!”
You watched the models file out one out a time, with a good amount of space between. A mixture of experienced and beginners. You wrote down the numbers displayed at the front of their shirt of the ones that caught your eye, however leaving the first slot blank as none had quite convinced you yet, well that is until he walked out. It was him, the guy you handed the poster too, Megumi Fushiguro! As he walked out you took in his features, how could Nobara call him ugly?? Just as you had written his number and looked up, you met his gaze for a second.

FOUND ANOTHER FUCKING SOLDER BRIDGE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
See those areas marked in red? Those were holding back my OSI 540B replica video board from generating video. This board is of a design where solder mask was not always a given so it's very easy to bridge traces. I found one last spring (left), and I found another one this morning thru tracing the weirdness of the video signal, until I noticed that a pair of 74LS174's weren't passing any signals.
Turns out they were locked up, because master reset was pulled low by another solder bridge (right). See that middle line marked Q3? That should be similar to D3, but it wasn't.
Tumblr media
I wasn't sure I had fixed it, until I started tweaking analog video levels again, and suddenly I had something visible on the screen! A few keystrokes later and... BASIC!
FUCK YEAH, BASIC!
Tumblr media
And so I decided to run my usual SIN COS test:
Tumblr media
The video signal is a bit low voltage, so it appears kinda dark. I need to tweak alot of the analog parts of the circuit, possibly modify a few things to get it playing nice. I also need to run test programs for the color video modes, the whole point of doing this replica build. Here's an original 540B built for monochrome video:
Tumblr media
And here's one built for color video:
Tumblr media
I built this thing in summer of 2020, it's nice to see it finally video-ing.
FUCK YEAH, I needed that win. I really did.

I had a dream about a resolution mechanic for offscreen/montage events. The players list some number (say 3 or 4) of goals they want to accomplish, eg: "no townspeople die", "we keep the fire crystal secret", and "we send the guild a firm message". Then they roll a pool of dice (d3s probably) and can allocate the results to the different goals. Multiple dice can go towards one goal. Each goal has a difficulty threshold set by the DM. Usually the PCs will succeed two goals and fail one. This is a fun way to resolve background events while adding interesting plot threads.
Love this, also can you teach me how to do game design in my dreams
