Started playing Tears of the Kingdom and thought it was neat that @comicaurora predicted the opening scene three years ago lol. I wanted to do a fanart to celebrate the release, and so this page re-draw seemed fitting.
[Image ID: redrawing the linked comic page from comic aurora in which the characters of Kendal and Alinua are replaced by Link and Zelda. The first panel shows Alinua holding the Purah Pad next to a blaze of fire. The second panel shows Link from the back, sheathing the Mastersword in preparation for their journey. The Third panel shows a torch being lit. The fourth panel shows the two figures from the back standing in front of an ruins leading into a chasm tunnel, and Link holds the torch in his right hand. The fifth panel shows Link and Zelda standing side by side from the front, with the torch lowered as they look down at the tunnel. Zelda says, "So... The legends say there is much needed for a safe expidition into these caves. Maps, Food, supplies, malice shielding... small army." The sixth panel shows the same shot, but this time, Link holds up the torch with a smile. Zelda looks at him and finishes, "And we have... This torch." The 7th panel shows a wider shot of the fourth panel, the figures viewed from behind, as Zelda says "Let's go deeper." End Image ID.]
