OK WAIT I GOT IT. atkinson hyperledgible!!!!

SO this font is absoooooolutely amazing!! i use it basically everywhere i can (docs, my blog, it's basically my go-to font lol). so like the name! it's an accessible font that's meant to be legible by basically everyone. and "atkinson" came from the founder of the braille institute himself, robert atkinson! there's so many subtle changes in atkinson hyperledgible but it still looks amazing:

so characters in fonts are Meant to be similar and uniform, right? that's what makes them look cohesive! take futura (which i absolutely love btw, no hate to it <3):

as much as i love this font, it's just not accessible yk? the b and 8 look similar, the capital I and lowercase L are basically the same with only a *bit* of height difference, and there's virtually no difference between c, o, p, q, b, & d at all! all they did was rotate one line around a circle. to be fair, futura was never meant to be a read as a text font at small sizes, but my point still stands: it's difficult to tell apart!

enter, atkinson hyperledgible. each chracter is different from the other in small ways that make a big difference. the serif on the lowercase I along with the distinctly rounded dot makes it stand out against the lowercase L, which also has a slight tail. the 8 is heavily pear shaped while the B is more even with less curves bumps. at small sizes or read by someone w/ impared vision, it's much easier to read.

and the best part? it looks good!! it's still cohesive and doesn't stand out too much, but it's still a bit fun and quirky yk?

i love this font sm. it blends two of my fav things: typography and accessibility. there's just so much abt it aaaaa <3 my personal fav chracters are the "0", with a backwards slash that makes it stand out from a capital "O", and the lowecase "G", with large counters and a diagonally terminated tail. it should look weird or off bc of how the proportions are so different, but they made it work! it's just so amazing :D

oh man oh bestie you better buckle up bc i am going to ramble.

so i think what really kind of draws me in, initially, is that i think, aesthetically speaking, they're attractive people. i like to put attractive people together. I'm a shallow bisexual, what can i say? but i also believe that there was a bit of chemistry there because i think joe quinn had pretty much chemistry with everyone. there was a moment, very briefly and i did yell at myself for it, with robin but i think it was less robin and more maya for me. the problem i have is that i roleplayed online for fucking ten years so i think in terms of face claims, yk? i like to put pretty people together. so it wasn't really eddie x robin bc what the fuck, she's a lesbian. the thought was kicked out as fast as i could i am so fucking sorry it came to my mind.

another thing is that, i know this is widely disputed and I'm sorry for bringing it up again, their sexualities aren't necessarily defined per se and i am always pushing my bisexuality onto my characters. so i like eddie and nancy as bisexual. if you don't, that's fucking fantastic and i love that. i am not here to sway anyone's opinions.

anyway edancy as characters. they would be utterly chaotic together. even in a friend aspect. in one of my fics i think i referred to eddie, in a certain mood, as robin turned to 11. which, could be wrong of course, but since it's nancy's point of view i think that's how she'll take it. so it would require a lot of patience to be each other's friend which neither of them really are so it's not like the best friendship. in one of my fics she's very guilt driven and also realizes she's been lonely without a friend like barb and now she's collecting them like robin and eddie. and steve kinda. eventually argyle and Jonathan. i just like the platonic love i am creating in my fic let me tell you. one day i'll post it i promise.

i also like that they have this like potential bc they do know each other, maybe not well or anything, but they've gone to the same high school together for four years. you tend to learn people after a while, especially in a small town. i mean all she said in the walkie was it's nancy and he instantly said wheeler! no one previously stated if nancy was a part of it or not because i don't think they went and saw eddie after getting nancy involved due to needing to figure out how to help max.

he knew his trailer was seven fucking miles from her house. i don't think he liked mike THAT much to know that by giving him rides home. that has literally been in my brain since you brought it up. i like to think that he could have had a crush on her, yk? the idea of eddie biking to her house or maybe driving if it happened later but i don't i picture like middle school for some reason. actually it really depends on the au ig bc i have like fucking 3 of them in my mind at once. in the canon divergence au, it was middle school bc I'm using the talent show angle bc of a specific scene and ship from skins gen 3. if you know arnold x violet pls pls get that i think nancy was a ballet dancer growing up and she would have done that at the talent show. and focused on her mistakes while eddie was like nah i thought it was beautiful. bc the scene from skins was this metal head, who had temporarily gone deaf, went and saw a ballet dancer dance and it was so fucking beautiful he fell in love with her. (this is by memory i haven't watched skins in like ten years)

in the rockstar au it was his senior year bc he graduated on time bc it was the only way to make it work where she didn't really know the guy. and i haven't made it up yet for the 10 things au but that will come. i promise. it's never going away.

eddie and nancy just kinda went into my ear, invaded my brain and never left. don't get me wrong, i still ship other ships with them, i appreciate a lot of them. and don't appreciate all of them. bc there are some that i can't get behind. but I've always been the type to be a multi shipper, a crack shipper, whatever. went on a day trip up a nearby mountain! saw plenty of four legged and flying relatives, baby got a fantastic view, and a few of us got bit as expected lmao. some pictures to enjoy too!

there were nutcrackers (pictured), grey jays, chipmunks (also pictured), yellow squirrels, you name it. we started with picking up some family, grabbed breakfast and saw the first folks through a bike race, got covered in dirt from toddler handfuls of gravel, then we hopped off on our adventure. visited the creek, dropped family off, had lunch, grabbed more family and went up the mountain for a bit before hopping back down to enjoy the water. didn't go boating, but yk ☺️

it's good to get out and visit all of our relatives, two legged, four legged, flying, crawling, swimming...even our plant and stone relatives. the sun was the perfect temp and we all had a great time!

Sydney wasn't daft when she said she couldn't take 6 months off. First of all this is the first big project she has ever been on, so you can know for sure she's being paid VERY LESS than her co-stars, it's just how it goes in this industry, yes Euphoria is huge and she's gaining a lot of attention but don't think for a second that they're paying her a good ammount, she's probably gonna start to get that now and that's is one of the reasons she can't take time off. She's literally on her peak right now and taking a step back is not gonna help her stablish herself.

I don't think people who are not part of the industry understand how the industry works (wich is fine but then don't make assumptions) but like, you get paid once and that's it, if you don't keep getting booked the money will run out, the majority of actors don't have that much stablish career like other people yk. And I'm not denying she lives a good life but I also think that people don't understand that working in hollywood kinda requires you to have a more expensive lifestyle, 6 months off will definetly get her broke, this artists have to pay a lot of people to maintain their careers, it's publicists, agents, managers, stylists, hair and make up, PR and all that shit and yeah they have other bills too that they have to pay for, it's not always luxury

okay first things first, i love japanrry in any form so i knew just by looking at the description that i was going to love this regardless of what was in it. to be honest i didn’t expect him to have a penny board that he used to get everywhere but there’s something so cute about that to me. throughout this entire fic, i was so amazed at the way that their relationship moved along so naturally and at such a good pace. i feel like there’s an art to making things move along at the right pace, and you definitely have that down!! i truly loved this fic so much and will probably be coming back at times to reread!

The best part IMO is the save point at 1000 rooms where u can choose any 10 specimens to start off with so u don’t have to go from the beginning every time u die. Whoever came up w that is a very intelligent individual

!! SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY!!

- I was stressed the whole time but I really liked it. some parts felt a bit rushed but ultimately it was a nice ending

- the contrast between the battle between agatha and wanda compared to hex!vision and white vision just talking in the library like old scholars was hilarious

- wanda was deffo trying to get her children back in that end credit scene and i wanna know what happened to white vision

- I think it’s cool that Monica is literally being called up to space now that she can glow like they said in captain marvel

- wanda maximoff is a bad bitch and i love her

- wanda’s new outfit?? bitch i am LIVING

- I’m happy that Jimmy, darcy and Monica are okay

- evan peters being cast as a big boner joke was a punch to the gut at first but now i think its kinda funny and in line with evan peters as a person. he probably took the job based on that

- I’m sad about the twins and vision tho :( i really was an idiot for thinking they would survive the hex closing, especially the kids i got so attached

- no bc the whole scene where the hex closed was so sad I genuinely teared up, especially knowing that billy knew what was going on bc of his powers and still put on a brave face for his family. stg if they showed them ‘dying’ for lack of a better word i would have balled my eyes out

- marvel really did miss a trick though by not having ‘as the world caves in’ playing over that song because then i really would have been balling like a lil bitch

- apparently some fans are angry with the finale bc it didn’t live up to the theories they had in mind and they feel swindled? the only reason you’re upset is bc you wasted time on a dead end theory and that’s ok lmao get over it. It’s not the shows fault that you raised your own expectations by creating convoluted theories and ideas based off little Easter eggs yk

- sometimes Easter eggs don’t mean anything except a nod to the fans like an inside joke yk and the people that take it so seriously just ruin it for themselves and it can be so harmful, i mean we’ve seen what happens in the star wars fandom

- at the end of the day this series was about wanda and vision and their story and showing wanda’s grief and trauma and exploring their dynamic as a couple. this show wasn’t meant to introduce things like mephisto or split open the multiverse or bring in the x men or fantastic four. kevin feige even said that in the disney + shows nothing too major will happen/be revealed because he knows a lot of fans will still only watch the movies. it is your fault as the viewer for getting your hopes up so high and believing all rumours and reading into tiny details that lead to you being so disappointed, even though nothing was promised to you

TL:DR the finale was good, and a good end to this section of wanda’s arc and was great for setting up some major aspects of phase 4 and I’m super excited to see what marvel does next, especially with fatws and the Loki series

Prince Charming -  Chapter 2

chapter one - chapter two - chapter three - chapter four - chapter five - chapter six Indications of Janus lying are in italics but fair warning I do use italics on some words Janus says that aren’t lies bc yk they’re italics and they’re used for emphasis and Janus says some sTufF in this so idk just keep an eye out lol

Word count - 3,204 Pairing - Intrulogical, Prinxiety (I didn’t plan it, it just kinda happened and I rolled with it), pre Moceit, platonic Logicality Warnings - some characters are a lil insensitive in spots but I wouldn’t call them unsympathetic, creativitwins and Loceit angst ig (not shippy at all), swearing, food mention, sword fighting, self-deprecation from most sides bc they’re all wrecks, a character gets a lil hurt, pining, and then there’s Remus-typical behavior (body horror mentions, sexual innuendo/mentions of sexual stuff, and other stuff heh), if there’s anything else that should be tagged or put in the warnings, tell me!

A yellow light with a size similar (if not a little bigger) to that of a softball appeared in front of Virgil’s face for half a second before disappearing. When it faded, the sides could see Virgil’s mouth had closed and his gaze was directed to the floor. The room was enveloped in an agonizing silence.

“I told you we’d know, Patton,” Roman said quietly, with no real bite in his words.

“No matter that!” Janus exclaimed, interrupting the uncomfortable silence. “You won’t be getting your crown jewels.”

“Looks like another lie, snake face!” Roman exclaimed, jumping back into the adversarial mood.

“It seems the red prince is running out of nicknames!” Remus teased. “Waste them all on Virgil, back when you were so intently hating him?”

Roman flinched; Remus had clearly hit a sore spot. “Take out your frustrations on my sword, you contemptuous, chaotic cephalopod!”

Remus laughed. “I like that! Lovely alliteration, dear brother. Though, it is something you’ve always seemed to excel at. Take with Virgil again--”

Roman swung his sword at Remus, red in the face and white at the knuckles. Remus parried it easily, clearly unsurprised by his brother’s attack. Neither sword moved for a moment, and Remus laughed again.

“So easily provoked, Roman? I expected better from a prince,” Remus said with a smirk. “Does talk about your...dare I say...regrets or unflattering moments make you want to maim a fellow side?”

Roman glared at him and shook his head, pushing his sword against his brother’s before striking at the green-clad side’s left shoulder. His sword was parried again.

“Not really.” The prince blocked a blow to the head, the swords in place there for a moment. “Just you.”

He pushed the Duke’s sword from his head and made a swipe at the legs. Remus jumped back but took a jab at Roman’s torso.

“Or,” Remus continued as if Roman hadn’t replied, “are you still in denial of the way you treated the purp man? Are you refusing to address it for fear of him realizing your mistakes...or of him admitting he was never fond of you in the first place and likely never will be?”

“STOP!” Roman shouted while disarming his brother, the rapier clattering to the floor. Roman held the tip of the sword in front of Remus’ nose.

“What is it, Roman?” Remus asked, alarmingly unfazed by the sharp metal so close to his face. “You cast me as the villain. This is me playing the part!”

Any small amount of movement Roman had been showcasing at that moment ceased, and Remus chuckled, using his brother’s stillness to back away from the sword. After taking a few steps back, the Duke put his hands up in a surrender-like position.

“Aren’t we antagonists supposed to be pushing your buttons, fucking with your mind to try to get you to lose? Is that not a classic villain tactic?”

Remus extended his leg to where his sword lay on the floor, still holding his gaze with a stiff Roman, and kicked the sword into the air where he caught it and immediately hit Roman’s sword to the side, disarming him.

“Or I could press different buttons if your demonization of Virgil is too fresh and painful a wound. I certainly have a lot to work with!”

Roman growled out a sound of anger, picking up his sword. “Oh, Remus, you forget.” He struck a hard blow to the dark side’s rapier. “I’m your brother too.”

Their fighting returned to a proper speed, Roman and Remus seeming equal.

“You crave attention and validation, which is probably the only reason you agreed to participate in today’s adventure,” Roman started, a grunt accompanying a few of his words. “You find it difficult, nearly impossible, to receive the latter, so you settle for being the most chaotic and disturbing version of yourself you can be in the hopes of a couple of spare glances in your direction.”

Remus’ confident smirk faltered.

“You haven’t argued against Logan sifting through your contributions in the hope that he will give you a spare compliment or show any sort of appreciation,” Roman added. “He’s logic, so he’s honest with no added emotions. You appreciate this, as there is no disgust-fueled fire that he uses to insult your creations.”

Roman felt Remus’ strikes get weaker.

“You’ve never known a true compliment or real validation, so anytime Logan doesn’t react negatively to your contributions makes you happy. Who can imagine what would happen if he complimented your work?”

Roman started to gain a clear upper hand, walking forward as Remus crept back.

“Maybe you’d...I don’t know...regret lodging that throwing star in his forehead,” Roman said with an air of nonchalance, a small smirk growing as he spotted Remus’ eyes widening and his grip on his sword loosening. “Regret shutting him up like everyone else does when he’s the only one who actually listens.”

Remus’ cuts got more reckless, less on target, and he was barely following the red prince’s sword.

“We’re creativity, insecurity is in our job description. You know Thomas will likely never do what you suggest him to,” Roman tacked on. “So you do everything to get your ideas noticed. Commented on. Even if it’s negative. But when Logan says something logical—not unkind—what do I know, maybe he’s even said something nice...you have a taste of validity. You experience appreciation."

Remus’ face hardened, and thrust his sword at Roman’s neck, only for the prince to parry it expertly.

“My only regret, dear brother,” Roman continued, walking forward so Remus’ back hit the cold, stone wall behind him, “is that after the original happiness that came from the logical side’s kind words subsides, you realize that you’re grasping at the straws of what everyone else has. And that, Remus, is a shame.”

The rapier fell to the floor.

Roman smiled at his win, sheathing his longsword. “You’re right, Remus! Pouring salt into the enemy’s wounds is a magnificent tactic! Thanks for the advice. Now, I’m taking this…” Roman picked up the rapier, “...and I’m taking it with me.”

Janus charged at Logan.
