How to Keep Your Home Garden Happy
Hey plant peeps!
Spring is here and that means it's time to get our hands dirty in the garden! Whether you're a seasoned planter or a newbie sprout, here are a few tips to keep your home garden thriving:
Sun & Shade: Know your light! Different plants need different amounts of sunlight. So before you plant, check the seed packet or tag to see if your plant needs full sun, partial shade, or shade all day.
H2O! We all know what happens when we forget to drink water. Plants are the same! The key is to water deeply and less frequently, rather than shallow sprinkles every day. Stick your finger in the soil to see if it's dry a few inches down before watering again.
Feed Me! Plants need nutrients to grow strong. Invest in a good quality fertilizer and follow the instructions for how much and how often to use it. You can also make your own compost for a more natural approach.
Weed Warrior! Weeds are the ultimate garden bullies. They steal water and nutrients from your plants. Pull them up by the roots regularly to keep them from taking over.
Bug Patrol! Keep an eye out for creepy crawlies that might want to munch on your plants. There are lots of natural ways to get rid of pests, like ladybugs or insecticidal soap.
Snip, Snip! Don't be afraid to deadhead your flowers (remove those dead blooms). This will encourage them to keep flowering throughout the season.
Remember: Gardening is all about trial and error. Don't get discouraged if something doesn't work out. Just keep at it and you'll be a pro in no time!
After a few warmup intervals, this was the long interval at the end of the session. The goal was 5 minutes, but I blew up at 4:30. It's been fun watching the gains and improving while competing against myself.

So…. It might be safe to say I have a little thing for guys who aren’t pretty. Let me explain myself: 😂
You have to be able to just throw something on and get your hands dirty. If you spend more time than me in the mirror I mean I guess it’s okay…but… the guy with the occasional “Run to the store quick” look says something to me. It runs deeper for me 😩; As long as you smell good 😌
🥂 Cheers to my Queens who like a mans man 🤷🏻♀️
I’m being judged as you’re reading this I know… fuck it; I don’t want to excuse myself anymore. This is me!

how life feels. sometimes it’s simpler to return to earth, to fall to water, even when it’s the overwhelm of soft and crinkled emotions that push us there
