@leaveyourego Here is another video on the short PTR/G3 K pattern. He goes in depth about the issues with the HK51 8” barrel he had and now the 12” barreled model.

Basically the guns ship with rollers that are usually too shallow and beat themselves up in the stock configuration. Getting the right roller size and maybe putting a combination comp/flash hider might do the trick as long as you don’t mind the noise.

Honestly the 12” K pattern is the vibe

Mp5 rant

I have a strong dislike of the standard mp5 as it doesn't do anything particularly well while having subpar ergonomics and reliability. Every time ive shot one theres been odd malfunctions, for being an h&k firearm they feel really cheap and are unreliable without making a heavier investment on better ammo.

Ik ergonomics are subjective but i don't think anyone would tell you that the mp5s feel good, the factory trigger feels like complete ass beings squishy and not having a really clear feeling break when the trigger is pulled, the charging handle feels out of place and flimsy and the threads love to strip after heavy use meaning you have to replace the whole part. I have seen a few sp5's and mp5a3 that the stock charging handle snapped off cleanly with the threads leaving it screwed in flush with the bolt which is a repair nightmare which also doesn't help its case in being over designed and difficult to take apart.

"Well it must still be good at something if people still like it" fuck off, Theres vastly better sub-guns at similar weight what are cheaper to manufacture easier to repair and that are more reliable. (Im looking at you mpx ❤️) Let people like what they want to like irrelevant firearms can be cool but we need to stop the cult like worship of mp5 stans, if you want a subgun from hk look at the fucking mp5k or start producing the vastly superior mp7 as they do everything you would want from a subgun better then the mp5.

Dont make me get into how cheap the fucking magazines feel too.

Sorry for yapping but im tired of gunbros shoving an mp5 in your face and cooming over it.
