An Unhinged Animal Crossing ramble

I haven't played my Animal Crossing file in over a year, but damn did it help me through college.

I don't know about any of y'all, but I made backstories for the villagers on my Island, and they all had connections and families. I made lore for these adorable little bundle of pixels.

Some of these backstories are ridiculous and silly. And I'm okay with that. This post is for me, I am this post's target audience. If you like my nonsense, that's on you.

Mac and Cherry are siblings, Mac being the overly enthusiastic younger brother while Cherry's the cool and aloof big sister. Cherry left home to start her music career, and she's doing pretty alright as an indie solo act. Mac wants to be a wrestler, but misses his big sis, so he kinda set out to follow her. Cherry used to find him super annoying and was really pissed that he followed her, but their relationship is getting better. She's learned to appreciate she always has him in her corner, and has started to return the favor for Mac's training. Mac was the first to move to the island, as a great private spot for training, and talked Cherry into moving in when she was done with her current tour.

Clyde is literally just vibes. He's a country boy, but his rural neighborhood is getting encroached on by suburbs. So, he became a backpacker, looking for somewhere not very busy or high pressure to settle down. He has a passion for woodworking and bug collecting and has formed an unlikely friendship with his neighbor Julia. Tiny brain with a massive heart. Doesn't know what a politic is, doesn't wanna know what a politic is. Would think a huge cheese wheel is an appropriate gift for a first date.

Julia wanted a fresh start, with her new name and identity (because you cannot look at her and tell me she isn't trans). With a dream to be a fashion designer, she transitioned very publicly and said so long to everyone who knew the old her. She is a high demand city girl, but got tired of the grind and questions and judgement. So, she retreated to the island to collect her thoughts, get inspiration, and just vibe in a place where no one knew who she was. She has expensive tastes, but has found an unlikely friendship in the kind but simple farm boy next door.

(Yes, I do think there is a Halmark Christmas Movie ass romance story waiting to happen here, don't judge me)

Gruff and Vladimir know each other. They know each other far too well. Two bosses of different families, families with some less than savory business practices. Vladimir moved into town from the old country, and muscled in on Gruff's turf. The two hated each other at first, constantly plotting the other's downfall, until they discovered a mutual desire to protect their family. Gruff has his niece Chevre, while Vladimir has his granddaughter Meagan. They saw eye to eye, at least enough to not try and kill the other. It more became a game to them, and soon they covered for each other from the cops. Gruff came to the island first, mostly as a way to finally get out of the city, but wasn't alone for long. Before she moved away, Meagan tipped Vladimir that Gruff was at the island, and he soon followed. Now they take pot shots at each other in the form of old man banter, sometimes with graphic murder plots, and no one can really tell if they're joking or not.

(This is the part you're gonna have to go with me on this)

Marina and Cephalebot are an unlikely duo. She claims that he's her younger brother, but everyone can see there's something off about him. He's adopted, but from where, no one knows. Except the family (There's so few octopi villagers I just like to think they're all a family, okay?). Marina found him in a crater in a corn field, with no memory or understanding of where he was. So, she decided that was brother material enough. In reality, Cephalebot is an alien probe. He was sent to Earth to study the local life and report back (kinda like Eve from Wall-E), but crash landed. He felt welcomed and loved by the family that helped him, so he decided to stick around. So, he lives as a resident of the planet he was meant to study, constantly learning how to vibe as an Earthling. He comes across as weird and a little invasive, but he means well. Marina, however is all that she seems on the outside. She is sweet, she loves pink, and she's the big sister everyone would want. She's also surprisingly handy with a screwdriver (because she's learned how to repair Ceph if needed). Marina came to the island as a perfect beach house spot, noticed all the bugs and fish in the area, and called Ceph to join her because of how much he likes studying the wildlife.

Drago is the heir to a powerful family (either business or actual royalty I can't decide), but does not have a cutthroat bone in his body. He's gentle where his parents are ruthless. He gets called an idiot and soft all the time, and no amount of "training" ever makes him a cruel person. He had enough one day, and bailed. He took some money, some snacks, and left. He found the island as the perfect escape from his family, and set up shop pretty quickly. He gets a little nervous around some of the stronger personalities, but quickly warms up when he realizes none of them are as vicious as the ones he left behind. He hangs out with Clyde at snack time, helps Shino with her performances, and even likes listening to Vlad and Gruff's old man ramblings.

Shino is not of this realm originally. She was a demon, summoned by a jealous actress to sabotage her rival. She took on the mortal form she now inhabits as a way to get closer to her target, but something else captured her interest. She fell in love with the stage, with the attention she received for her own skills. So, she ditched her contract and set to travel the world as an actress in her own right. She writes plays and poems, and performs them for whatever audience she can find. She moved to the island for similar reasons as to Julia, to refresh and get some new inspiration. She found that she liked it there, and has made an unlikely friendship with Drago, an always willing audience member.

When he got electrocuted by Austin he forgot Sam was his daughter and was so happy to see her again when he remembered Sam (He didn't forget that he had one just who his daughter was)

Austin / Corrupted Mii

He's was Bisexual (he lost his ability to love when he got corrupted)

He doesn't really care about Kyle, he might love him a tad because hes family but not enough to care if he got hurt or something

When he became the Corrupted Mii he lost his humanity and now is only filled with hate and anger, he only finds enjoy in harming others

Austin started hating Sam when he found out shes related to Henry and wants to harm her

He messes with the Wii's files to mess with Eleted and Sam

well 8 have a new request, can you do when mitsuri shows off her INHUMAN strength? Also just to clarify, mitsuri does not gain much s weight at all because it mostly gets turned into protein cells….?… idk I forgot but she is just insecure because of what others might think of her.

SPOILERS: so mitsuri has the strength/ if not more than I a demon from that Uni. So her strength is about more than human. For me I think still lower of an adeptis but still INCREDIBLY strong for a human. Cuz during the final battle she rips off the arm of Muzan, the demon king which I think is almost/same strength of an adeptis???… idk

You maneuvered around him, using your strength to best your opponents one by one, leaving none able to do anything but run away begging for mercy. It was easy for you, unnatural for a normal woman...but Wanderer seemed more pleased than unhappy with it...even a little blushed.

just being casual on discord talking about Little Nightmares stuff when heandcannons drop...

yeh. It really confounds me about "Monster Six", sense we're not given a lot of certified details on what made her turn into a monster. We can leap down all sorts of rabbit holes on the subject, and I've seen all sort of writers interpret the details differently - usually connecting Six to the music box in some way. But much like the children of the LN world, we the player are not given much insight to the world - we're idiots throwing deflated bals at portraits trying to figure out how to reach the next room. We react to the environment in a way that makes sense, same as the children do - overlooking game restrictions and such for the plot navigation. Here’s one interpretation I kind of like to roll with regarding the Tower and what it will ‘provide’ to the loyal denizens of the signal. I had to break this up because chonk….

The music box might've been a manifestation of Six's will, simply ‘thought’ into existence because the Tower will grant your wishes - for escapism. To keep its victims in order to feed on them, but the gifts are in the realm of attainable and very physically present. Breaking this lone tether to the place (the fantasy) awoke Six from the dream, and of course she was not happy -> This was alluded to by the devs regarding the Viewers and escapism. Each time the music box was hurt, the barriers and walls of the Tower warp as a result of Six's turmoil, trying to restore the sanctuary she constructed "for herself", and to remove the intruder assaulting her precious. Thus, it can be speculated that the Tower might link itself to its host subconscious, which would infer why linking to Mono after he is abandoned there, made the Tower so potent - it enabled it to harness his reality altering powers. But the Tower has linked itself to what is essentially a traumatized child, a child with no education, nor life experience, and a dubious 'upbringing'. No wonder the world stood no chance to this beast.

So no wonder the Tower created the "bare bones" paradise for these two kids. Neither had much knowledge in terms of what they SHOULD want as far as a 'shelter' goes. Simply being safe and having a few amenities - some toys, a music box... a concrete room with a chair. That's all these children of the apocalypse know. They cannot 'imagine' a room with a luxurious plush bed, let alone a home with colorful walls, furniture that isn’t decayed. The Tower in its infinite wisdom provides what the host wants, but is always limited to that comprehension.

Funny Ha Ha Headcannons that make no sense but are true because I said So: the actual little baby man. he is secretly friend with Megatron. innocent but knows how to get away with murder. Very against drinking. Pregnant women mood swings, he plays podcasts from the radio but every swear word is bleeped out.

Very not Ha Ha funny but extreamly sad depresso boi hours Heandcannons: whenever he is sad he latches onto his teammates (mostly optimus) and does not let go. Ratchet hates this. He cries a lot too.

Realistic Headcannon: Grumpy old medic. Only tolerates everyone except Optimus. He thinks bumblebee is too much of a baby. Hates the deceptions for injuring his teammates so he has to fix the ones he tolerates. He leaves the patients that he really doesn't like with minor inconveniences. Against swearing but swears himself.

Funny Ha Ha Headcannons that make no sense but are true because I said So: he secretly takes synthetic energon before battles, but he's addicted to it. Normaly he doesn't like fighting but when he's on synthetic energon he loves it. When bee is in his sad boi hours and attaches to Ratchets leg he kicks him off like a dog.

Very not Ha Ha funny but extreamly sad depresso boi hours Heandcannons: he overworks himself all the time he rarely ever recharges and drinks an unhealthy amount of energon coffee.  He never talks about his problems. He works continuously to forget about his problems but unfortunately it adds more problems. Dealing with bumblebee makes his stress worse. He thinks mental pain is the same thing as physical pain so he tries to find physical antidotes for his feelings.

not realistic Headeannons but are true Bc I said so and they are funny: he is half Optimus size but taller than bumblebee. He hates nicknames like doc, absolutely hates it when WheelJack calls him sunshine. He secretly has a list of   bots that he hates with the reasons why as well.

Ehhhh… kinda. Some of the ideas are just spur of the moment headcannons that I think of. While others are sorta Au focused.

I can fully say that the general heandcannon ideas from the Modern Fantasy Monsters post are general headcannons and not connected to anything.

What if.... Bill and Cipher

What if the only reason Bill was so interested in Ford’s dimension was because it was the only dimension without a Bill in it already?

My reasoning comes from Journal 3, so quick spoiler warning... ya good? ....good. So when Ford goes to the formally known Better World dimension he runs into that universe’s Fiddleford. Who promptly locks the dimension hopper up (I can only imagine how that played out).

Fiddleford’s reasoning comes from his own dimension hopping he does with (presumably) his Ford. One day, one of the people in their multiverse traveling group ran into, well, himself from another dimension. The resulting encounter caused the entire universe to straight out disappear! 

So if Bill had the same problem he had to take over a universe where he doesn’t exist. To live there. ...or he doesn’t care either way and just picks a universe at random who knows. 

Though I wonder what if that’s what happened to Bill? Okay hear me out. Heandcannon story time:

What is there was an all powerful being. He was young and probably took his powers for granted. (can’t help but see a young Stanley Pines. I have no idea why) So he used is powers for his own selfish gain (or maybe for his family) until he discovered he could leave the entire dimension if he wanted to! which he eventually did. Why? Well, we may never know. (though maybe he could have been kicked out the house by his father believing he needs to go and find treasure or something, eh I don’t know.) Then, unaware of the consequences he runs into himself and the whole universe starts collapsing! It becomes the Nightmare Realm. 

In his desperate attempts of survival he lashes out his power to stop it. To stop everything! It’s not fixed though as he’s just managed to slow the process down. As the world decays around him and how much his power went into stopping it, he finds he can’t get out. He’s trapped in a decaying world with no way out and no one to save him. For a while he excepts his fate, then he finds out something else. He can’t die. Somehow, his self preservation was so great it made his impossible to die! 

In the years that go by, he loses himself to madness.He tries to kill himself and get’s used to pain (even finding it enjoyable). His mortal body changes and crack until it becomes something entirely different. Something, resembling quite a likeness to the symbol on the dollar Bill. Money. The one thing that he could have given his family to return home to them. That was the plan anyway. He finds it ironic. He starts even calling himself Bill as a joke, telling everyone (that he’s created using his powers) to call him that until his old name is lost. (he doesn’t even feel like Stanley anymore). Then he starts creating builds and even other beings in this decaying dimension. He cracks and finds amusement in the pain and suffering of others. 

Then there’s hope as he found  way to (sort of) escape. through possession, he can reach across the universe. Slowly making his name infamous. He loves it. Then he using the power to find a way out (he possesses a lot of nerds). It is then that he knows that he must find a universe with no trace of himself (by this point he’s completely altered his being so much that the universal frequency is messed up! which probably explains the sudden possession powers. This also could have resulted from encountering the other him. It having messed with his physical structure a lot more to make it safe-ish to encounter more of himself. not them he remembers who he was at this point.)

So he found a young universe and started making plans (messing with the cultures early on. Causing a few space ship crashes, who knows!) All leading up to the weak point in the dimension, the portal, weirdmageddon, and everything! Though it wasn’t until Ford that he added the last name ‘Cipher’. (A way his older mind wanted to make himself special and related to one of Ford’s interests. Though his motivation turned into having a huge twisted party. It resulted from when he was sane, daydreaming of being welcomed home with a party (and family). He wanted to be welcomed back. To be home. (In New Jersey, according to his old mind). Now, everything he is is just a warped, twisted version of his desires, fears, and bitterness. 

So in the end he did find a world without a him in it. Then over time, he lost track of his reasoning and either forgot or decided not to care as Stanley and Stanford Pines came into the world, whether he could have stopped his birth or not is another question entirely. For all he knows, his presence could have caused the Pines twin’s birth. Maybe he was jealous. Maybe he just wanted to be free to get to his Ford and to make amends.

oh yeah dear anon i have a lot simonjess headcanons:

- Their thing, other than cooking, is to watch baseball (or football) games together

- When they’re rooting for opposite teams the loser has to pay (or make) the  pancakes they’ll eat the next morning. it’s a tradition to eat pancakes the day after a game.

-This is the moment they fell in love w/ each other: 

- Of course they’re both completely oblivious about it. They literally have no idea about it. Jess has a thing with Barry anyway and it’s already too much for her.

- When Barry asks her to repeat their first date, Jessica completely freaks out so she asks Simon to join them on a double date coming straight out of a cliche 00s teen rom-com. yes that’s her life rn

-Jess knows that Simon is one of the nicest, most caring and loving people she has ever met, has a very nice smile too. So what’s better than to fix him up with her sister Sarah! (tbh i don’t remember if Sarah is married or something but i pretend she’s not)

-Anyway, they all agree for Jessica’s sake. Sarah is a genius and she finds immediately a way to leave her alone with Barry. She hangs out with Simon but there’s no chemistry and then it hits her so she’s like ‘you have a crush on my sister!!!:D :D’

- He denies it but now the thought is planted in his head and tries not to freak out. His family wishes to settle down with a nice girl don’t help that much.

- Jessica and Barry date for a while but it doesn’t work anyway, he belongs with Iris so no biggie. Jessica goes to a completely post-break up mood and tries to isolate herself but it doesn’t work. A few days after the break up here’s Simon with pancakes, pizza and ice cream just in case. The best part? He’s in his pajamas too…

- They watch crappy movies all day and don’t say anything that matters, just like she needs until she starts talking about the break up and she suddenly can’t stop. He listens and then he talks about his experiences with girls and ugly break ups then about his past in general then she talks about her anxiety and that time in the woods.

- When he leaves she feels better and the next day she’s ready to be a green lantern again. They punch a lot of aliens and evil robots that day.

- But now they both know, something has shifted in their dynamic. They’re both aware finally that they’re having feelings for each other. No one makes the first move tho

- Until one night after an ugly fight with a giant alien lizard monster or something they go somewhere in the outskirts of a city to eat junk food in peace. After they finished eating they’re drinking beer and look at each other that way, they’re having a moment and they both know it.

-Jessica doesn’t freak out but doesn’t make a move either. Simon doesn’t want to invade her personal space by kissing her but he wants to make a move. So he carefully wipes a dirt Jessica has over her eyebrow and that’s it Jessica kisses him and the rest is history.

- They both try to learn about the other’s culture, religion and traditions. Jessica’s family loves him immediately (they hide his criminal past just to be sure) and Simon’s family, especially his mom, try to make him propose to her. Seriously, they won’t let him in peace…

-It’s almost two years since they’re dating and it’s again after a huge ugly fight with a giant monster. They go to eat somewhere and Simon takes off his lantern ring because their junk food is really junk, fingers are meant to get dirty. Jessica notices after they have finished eating and something gets to her, she grabs his ring falls to her knees and proposes. It’s totally impulsive, at first it was meant to be a joke but she starts freaking out midway.

-There’s an awkward silence bc Simon has no idea what’s going on and if she’s serious or not and Jessica has a panic attack. She can’t play it off as a joke and now she wants to lock herself in her apartment for the rest of her life and be a cat lady. Or join that blue lantern planet where nothing really happens.

-She gives him the lantern ring and she’s flying away, Simon follows her and kisses her midair very romantic and all and that’s it.

-At first they’re planning a huge Catholic wedding, they invited almost every superhero they know. Like, if you know Batman and Wonder Woman how can you not invite them to your wedding?

-Literally last minute (20 minutes before the ceremony) they change their mind because all this it’s too much for both of them. They end up flying to a beautiful beach somewhere and getting married there with Hal Jordan as their only witness. Their families never forgave them for this huge betrayal but whatever, they don’t care…

- They have three kids, two girls and one boy. The second girl was adopted from a war torn country they helped save with the justice league.

Wow i wrote a lot. I started writing headcanons and i ended up writing fan fiction. I literally have no idea where all these feelings are coming from
