Out of all the girls he could’ve had, it had to be you. It was torturous, really — being surrounded by women every day living on the ranch, never feeling right in his decisions when it came to finding love, but just simply knowing as soon as he laid eyes on you. He’d tried with a few of the girls, but they never worked out. His position in the sort of ‘hierarchy’ that took place on the ranch never faltered, thankfully, but that was another reason he never chased after that dream of finding the one. He didn’t wanna screw anything up — not when Charlie would have his head, quite literally, if he did make any major screw ups. So he figured he’d steer clear of women for now, chalking it up to it just ‘not being in the books’ for him. Maybe he was destined for other things, maybe it wasn’t what God had intended for him.
But then you came along.
Gorgeous, entrancing, the sweetest smile and prettiest laugh he’d ever encountered. He watched you for a while before he made his move. He was thankful for that opportunity so he could learn some of your habits, your routines, he even memorized your mannerisms which he would dream about every night he went to sleep.
There was one particular moment, that he was watching you, when he knew you were the one. Music blasting, you were dancing around your kitchen, wearing nothing but a tank top and panties, your hair a mess and your angelic voice singing into a wooden spoon as you followed along with the lyrics. He’d never seen a sight quite like you. He was in love — purely, and utterly in love.
It was really too bad he had to kill you.
The scream that left your mouth twinged at his heart when he stood in front of you, gun in his hand as he pointed it at you. “I don’t wanna hurt you, darlin’.”
“Tony! Tony!” you screamed, calling out for the man of the house, but there was no answer. Tex thought this Tony guy you were longing for was your husband — he was your brother, but Tex didn’t know that yet. Maybe if he had known that he wouldn’t have been so fast to click the safety off of his gun.
“He can’t help you now,” Sadie spoke from beside him, her grip on her knife firm. “You’re in God’s hands.”
“Oh Jesus Christ — Tony!” you were shrieking at the top of your lungs, back flushed against the kitchen counter as you stood with your arm raised.
“Fuckin’ shoot her, Tex!” one of the girls yelled from behind him, but all Tex could focus on was the terrified expression on your face. He didn’t wanna be doing this. He never paid attention to the look on his victim’s faces before now, and the feeling that he got from the sight wasn’t a good one. It was filled with guilt, terror, realization that he was better than this. And more than anything, you didn’t deserve this. Just hours before you were dancing around your kitchen singing to Whitney Houston. Your innocence was beautiful, he thought, and he didn’t wanna be the reason no one ever saw that again. That he never saw that again.
“I can’t,” he whispered, and he wasn’t sure if anyone had even heard him. Until Sadie was scoffing, muttering something along the words of, “I’ll do it myself.” She advanced towards you, the terror unmatched in your eyes, and before Tex could think straight he was pointing his gun at Sadie and pulling the trigger.
In a blur his whole world had turned upside down, and next thing he knew he was ushering you out of the house and the two of you were sprinting down the street. You were wearing nothing but an oversized shirt, no shoes, barefoot running down the pavement with your life in your hands — or, in Tex’s hands. You stopped when you came upon an important intersection, and Tex grabbed your arm and dragged you around a corner behind a few bushes. It hadn’t even occurred to him that you could be running from him, until you were pulled flush against his chest with an impossible look of terror on your face. He knew you would scream so before you had the option, Tex put his hand over your mouth, backing you up into a cement wall. He took the time to look around before turning back to you, eyebrows raised.
“Not a sound, got it?” He spoke to you like a teacher would a student, and you nodded before he slowly took his hand away. You wanted to scream, wanted to run, do something, but under his gaze you could only stand still, frozen in your spot. “He’s gonna find us. Word is gonna get back and we’re both gonna be dead before sunrise.”
You still didn’t speak.
“Are you okay?” His eyes, which previously held a cold glare, faltered slightly at your petrified expression, and it was at his question that you finally gave in. The tears pricking at your eyes suddenly burst down your cheeks, a sob leaving your lips as your knees buckled, and Tex was catching you before you could hit the ground. He sat with you while you cried, his hands still holding your arms.
“You– you were gonna kill me. You had a gun, and… and…” You could barely get your words out, interrupted by your sobs, but Tex knew what you were getting at. He let go of your arms, watching as you hugged yourself once you were finally rid of his touch, and his heart broke. His lower lip trembled before he grasped it between his teeth. “You– you– you’re gonna kill me. I’m dead, I’m dead.”
“Hey,” he whispered, reaching out, but you flinched away. Your eyes darted up and met his, both pairs of eyes glossed over with tears. You didn’t know why his were. “I’m not gonna hurt you, Y/N.”
“You had… a g-gun.”
Tex sighed and you watched incredulously. “We need to find somewhere safe to go. Where I can… explain all of this to you. I can’t here. We’re not safe.” He looked at you while he was speaking, noticing the slight confusion in your brows. “He’ll find us here. He’ll kill us.”
“Who?”
“That’s what I need to explain.” Tex got to his feet, offering you a hand. You just looked up at him blankly, and he sighed again. “Please trust me.”
“Why would I trust you,” you said, finding your voice, “when you held a gun to my head only ten minutes ago?”
His jaw shifted at your words. You were right. “Because,” he started, his hand still extended to you, “if I was gonna kill you, I would’ve.”
His harsh words were nothing compared to the realization that came with them. So you nodded, taking his hand in yours, and then you were running again.
The two of you found your way to a motel on the east side of town, opposite of the ranch and hopefully far enough away that nobody could find you. You settled in, as settled as you could get with that dark feeling looming over you, while Tex went down to find some clothes for the two of you from the lost and found. He came back up with what looked like everything in the box, and you took your pick of sweatpants and a hoodie. While you were leafing through the discarded clothes, Tex sat on the edge of the bed, eyes trained on you.
“Do you trust me?” he said, and you looked up from your spot on the bed only three feet away. His blue eyes were entrancing, full lips glossy as you watched his tongue dart out to wet them every few seconds, a nervous habit. You shrugged. “It’s a yes or no question.”
“You tried to kill me.”
“I already told you, if I wanted to I would’ve.”
“You’re not doing much to help your case,” you muttered, playing with the fabric of the hoodie in your lap. “Hard to trust you when you have a loaded weapon on you.”
Tex looked down at the gun tucked into his boot, and he pulled it out. He saw your eyes widen but he quickly relieved your fears – he unloaded it. “I won’t hurt you,” he said, eyeing you carefully as your gaze was held on the firearm. “Y/N.” You looked up. “Please trust me.”
“Who’s to say you’re not gonna kill me in my sleep?”
“Why would I go through all the trouble of bringing you here to do that?” he answered quickly, like it was rehearsed, like he knew what you were going to say. You stayed quiet at that, and he knew he had you stumped. “You know I’m right.” You shrugged again. “Can I teach you how to use this?”
“The gun?”
He nodded. “In case you need to.” You shrugged once again, and Tex moved to sit a bit closer. He didn’t show it, but he was happy when you didn’t flinch away this time. “Load it,” he said, slamming the ammunition up into the cartridge. “Then you have to cock it. Like so.” He followed his words with the given actions. Your eyes never left his hands. “This is the important part. Safety on-” He clicked it on, “-Safety off.” He clicked it off. His eyes glanced up to yours, eyebrows raised. “Got it?”
“Got it.” You reached out, and Tex looked at you, surprised, before handing you the gun. “Safety off,” you said, looking at him. He nodded. “Safety on.” You clicked it back on.
“You’re a pro,” he teased, and for the first time that night, you smiled. “I’m gonna have a quick shower. You okay out here alone?”
“I’m gonna watch tv,” you said, settling into the pillows at the head of the bed as Tex stood up. He nodded, watching as you carefully placed the gun next to you on the bed. He bit his lip, forcing back a smile as he rummaged through the pile of lost and found items to grab a change of clothes. He needed a shower, he felt disgusting — suddenly every job he’d been on, every person he’d killed, was weighing on him heavily. Sick to his stomach only began to describe the feeling in his gut, in his heart, and he hoped as he headed to the bathroom that a shower could help.
Fortunately it did — not by much, but he was feeling a little better by the time he walked into your room. You were sitting in the same position on the bed as you were before he left, now chewing on your fingernails as your eyes were glued onto the tv. Some show he didn’t recognize was playing, and it had you fixated. Maybe it wasn’t the show – he could tell you were in your head.
“You okay?” he mumbled, crossing the room as he went to turn off the light in the bathroom. You looked up, laying your eyes on the boy for the first time in a few minutes. His appearance was different now – grey sweatpants were the only article of clothing he wore, his shirtless state complimenting his abs nicely. This was the first time you really looked at him. He was drying his hair with a towel, body twisted slightly as he shook out the water.
“I’m fine.”
He missed your hand gripping the gun firmly at your hip laying on the bed, blind to Tex’s side of the room.
“You sure?” He cracked a smile, turning around to throw the towel over the bathroom door. Taking the opportunity, you clicked the safety off of the gun, just like he’d shown you, and your fingers twisted tighter around the metal firearm.
When Tex turned around, he was faced with the muzzle of a gun, and he paused. To your surprise, he wasn’t scared. He didn’t flinch, didn’t bat an eye — instead, he just peered around the gun, making eye contact with you. “I ain’t gonna hurt you, Y/N.”
“How do I know that? You had this thing pointed at me an hour ago when you were gonna kill me.” Your hands trembled as you held the weapon, but Tex was more focused on calming you down.
“Put the gun down,” he said. You didn’t waiver — your hands only got shakier.
A few seconds went by before Tex brought a hand out and simply took the gun from you. You allowed it, your arms falling by your sides with the much-needed release of the weight that thing carried, and you watched as he disengaged it before setting it on the bedside table and moved to climb in beside you. You watched him eerily, like a hawk and its prey, and Tex paused as he looked back at you.
“You scared of me?”
“A little,” you admitted. He shook his head, rubbing a hand over his jaw as he closed his eyes for a moment. “Why didn’t you kill me?”
His eyes opened. “What?”
“You were supposed to kill me. Why didn’t you?” The way your eyes gleamed, still a little glossy from the inevitable tears fighting their way to the front, made Tex’s heart soar. He’d never felt this feeling before, the butterflies in his stomach, the fast beating of his heart. All he wanted to do was hold you, make the tears go away. But he couldn’t — not yet, at least, until he made sure you trusted him completely.
“You're different,” he answered, and the confused tilt of your head made him smile. “I been doin’ this whole killing thing a long time, darlin’, and I don’t want to anymore. I never did. But I didn’t have a choice.”
“Well whose choice is it?” you asked.
“Charlie’s.”
“Who’s Charlie?”
“He’s Charlie,” Tex said, and you furrowed your eyebrows at that. Tex chuckled slightly. “I don’t know how to explain it. He… He makes me do these things. I never thought anything of it. Not till you.”
“Not till me?”
He shook his head. “I been doin’ this since I could remember. Charlie… He gave me a lotta things. Things I’m grateful for. But this… I don’t wanna do it anymore. I saw you and how scared I made you and I— I can’t keep hurtin’ innocent people. It ain’t fair.” His eyes narrowed. “Especially you.”
Your gaze softened. A million thoughts were running through your head, most of them including the way Tex’s hand was now placed on your knee soothingly, but you had to shake yourself out to continue. “Then stop doing it.”
“I’m going to. Sadie was the last one.”
“Who’s Sadie?”
“The girl I—” He cut himself off when he saw the realization hit you, and he spared the details. “She would’ve killed you. But I– I ain’t doing this any longer. I don’t want you to be scared of me, Y/N. Please believe me.” When he finished talking, all there was to do was stare at each other, and it was a long three minutes before you moved over in the bed, signifying that you were okay. Tex joined you.
“You trust me now?” he asked as you slid down in the bed, staring up at the ceiling as your head rested on the pillow. You rolled your head over to look up at him, and you watched as Tex shut off the tv before pulling himself down to your level. He rolled onto his side, elbow holding him up as he looked at you.
“I don’t know.”
“Okay,” he said, lips twitching as his eyes darted between yours. “That’s better than a no.” You pressed your lips into a line, looking back at him, and then the two of you were back to staring at each other. You broke it off before too long, reaching over to shut the light off.
“Goodnight, Tex.”
“Goodnight, Y/N.”
***
Tex woke you up at four in the morning the next day. He was dressed and freshened up, kneeling on your side of the bed as he shook you awake slightly. “Y/N… Y/N, we gotta wake up now.” You mumbled incoherently as a response, rolling over onto your other side. Tex was persistent as he stood up, kneeling onto the mattress as he reached over you to tap your face gently. “Wake up. Y/N.”
“Five more minutes,” you slurred, eyes not even bothering to open as you swatted him away. If he wasn’t frantic to get out of town, Tex would find the whole scenario amusing. But he had things to worry about, and no time to admire how adorable you were in the morning.
“Come on, Y/N. We need to leave.”
“Sleeping,” you moaned, grabbing ahold of Tex’s hand which kept patting you on the cheek. Instead, you pulled it into your chest, nearly dragging the boy’s body over your’s, and Tex groaned as he pulled you to sit up. He sat behind you for support, his arms around you as you whined. “I’m sleeping.”
“I think Charlie knows we’re here.”
Suddenly, you were awake. “What?” You looked over at the boy, blinking your eyes a few times to adjust to the darkness. It wasn’t even light in the room, that’s how early it was. “How?”
“It’s all over the news – the lady at the front desk might’ve recognized you. We have to go. Come on.” The two of you were getting up, Tex standing near the door with his arms crossed while you scrambled to pull on a pair of pants. “I got all our shit packed, we need to go.”
You slipped on a hoodie, toeing your shoes on as well as Tex hiked a duffel bag over his shoulder. It was then that you noticed a set of keys in his hand, and you furrowed your eyebrows up at him as you pulled your heel into your shoe. “Whose keys are those?” you asked, and Tex shook his head.
“Don’t worry about it. Let’s go.” The two of you headed outside, rushing down the stairs, and you followed as close behind Tex as you could, but the boy’s long legs gave him an advantage. He was walking towards a car, nicer than you could afford, and it wasn’t until he opened the door to throw your bag in that you shook your head.
“Whose car is this?”
“I said don’t worry about it. Now get in.” He ducked into the driver’s seat and you followed suit, buckling up while he was pulling out of the parking lot. You were on the freeway in no time, silence settling comfortably between the two of you. It was weird, you thought, how close you felt to him now. Just hours before, he was holding you at gunpoint, and now you were sitting in comfortable silence with the boy. Admiring him. Watching his jaw clench, his biceps flex when he shifted gears. He sat comfortably in the driver’s seat, left foot working the clutch while his right stepped on it, getting you out of the city as fast as possible. His legs were long, really long, and well, you know what they say about grey sweatpants. You didn’t realize you physically shook yourself out of your own head before he looked over at you.
“What?”
“What?”
“You shook your head,” he said, and your cheeks flushed but you furrowed your eyebrows in protest.
“No I didn’t.”
“Yeah you did,” he responded, and was that a smirk toying at his lips? Lord help me, you thought. “What were you thinking?”
“About where you got this car,” you lied, and Tex rolled his eyes as he looked back at the road. He dropped a gear, stepping on the throttle before shifting again as he passed a series of vehicles.
“I know people.”
“Did you even sleep? It’s…” You looked at the time on the dash. “Four in the morning. We went to sleep at one.”
“Don’t worry about me, princess.” He shifted in his seat, switching his right arm to the steering wheel while his elbow rested on the window, hand working his way through his dark hair, which was pulled into a bun. You never really had a thing for guys with long hair… until meeting Tex, of course. But then again, you never really had a thing for serial killers, either.
“Where are we going?”
“You’re just full of questions this morning,” he avoided the question, which told you he didn’t really know, and you looked at him blankly with your arms crossed. “You know, I liked you better asleep.”
“I liked you better when you were trying to get me to trust you,” you retorted, and Tex glanced in your direction. “You were kinda sweet then, but now you’re just an ass.”
“So you trust me now?”
“What?”
“You trust me,” he stated, and although it wasn’t a question, you argued anyway.
“No I don’t.”
“Yeah you do,” he said, smirking over at you before turning his attention back to the road. A sign you passed read ‘end of city limits.’ “Wasn’t lying when I said you’re better asleep. Don’t talk nearly as much. You did say my name a couple times last night though. Wet dream or something?”
“Shut up,” you exclaimed, smacking his arm, and Tex let out a deep-hearted laugh. It was a sincere moment, one that had the two of you laughing and forgetting all about your current situation, until Tex suddenly went silent. You hadn’t heard the radio playing until that was all you were hearing, and it was ringing in your ears.
Charles Manson was dead, they explained over the channel, and by the look on Tex’s face, it was the same man he kept referring to. His boss, you thought of him as, the man he was convinced was after them. He was dead, and all of his disciples had been caught as well. Except for one.
“Tex?” you said, and your voice felt frail. Tex was swallowing, his mouth dry as he ran a hand over his jaw. “Is that him?”
“Yeah.”
“That’s good… right?”
Tex stayed silent. You wondered if that was wrong of you to say. He turned the volume up on the stereo to listen more intently, but the breaking news segment was over as quick as it’d came. The station went back to the music they were playing before, and you reached over to turn the volume down.
“I guess,” Tex finally said, “I guess that’s good.”
“Are they looking for you?” you asked, eyes burning a hole into his temple as you stared at the boy. His knuckles were white as he gripped the steering wheel, and he shrugged half-heartedly. “You’re… you’re one of them. That they’re looking for.”
“They don’t know my name,” he said.
“What about–”
“They don’t know anything about me,” he finished, glancing over at you. Relief washed over you, a weight you didn’t know why you carried being lifted as you smiled at the boy. You touched his arm.
“That’s good. You’re free.”
“Yeah.” He didn’t sound thrilled. His jaw worked, fingers tapping against the dash as he focused his gaze on the road. You sat back in your seat, letting the silence cast over you now. It wasn’t nearly as comfortable as before.
Hours passed before either of you spoke again. You’d fallen asleep, using Tex’s sweater as a pillow to lean against the door, and when you woke up you were at a gas station. Alone in the car, radio off and the daylight baking onto you. When you looked up, neck stiff and eyes tired, Tex was walking out of the building. He moved to pump the gas, only noticing you were awake when he paused to wait for it to fill. He tapped on the window and you rolled it down. Tex crossed his arms over the ledge, leaning into the car as he looked at you.
“Sleep well?”
“No.”
“I found us a place to stay.” Your eyebrows perked at this, hopes high as his lips twitched up into a smile. You almost forgot about the shocking information you’d gotten before your nap when seeing the beautiful sight on his face. “Nothin’ special. There’s a half decent hotel down the street. If we lay low there for a couple days I think I can take you back home with no questions.”
The downwards twitch of your eyebrows at the word home didn’t go unnoticed by Tex. You nodded slowly. “Okay.”
“What?”
“Nothing.” You opted for a different answer when you saw his expression. “Sorry, I’m just tired. That’s all.”
He knew you were lying. “Okay.”
Tex finished pumping the gas before hopping back in the car, and when you got to the hotel he instructed you to meet him around the back of the building, just in case. Then you settled into your room, much nicer than the shitty motel you’d spent last night in, with better cable as well. You adjusted quite comfortably, and Tex laughed as he came back into the room to the sight of you in a robe, hair thrown up in a towel, lounging on the bed watching tv.
“Really took the whole ‘make yourself at home' thing to heart, huh?”
“Shut up,” you teased. But you were a little embarrassed, you didn’t expect him to be back so soon. So you got up and took your clothes into the bathroom, coming back out once you were changed. Your hair was still wet but you wanted to let it air dry. Tex sat in the desk chair, eating from a bag of chips as he sat back with his legs spread. You tore your eyes away from his lap, looking up at his eyes. “What’d you get me?”
He tossed you a bag of chips. “You seem like a salt and vinegar type of girl,” he stated, and you rolled your eyes as you opened the bag. You were.
You crawled back onto the bed. It occurred to you that Tex got another single room, with one bed, but you weren’t about to ask him about it. For all he knew, you didn’t even notice, and what he didn’t need to know was that you enjoyed it. Tex got up to join you on the bed, sitting beside you. Your legs touched. He leaned back against the headboard, arms behind his head as he extended his legs the same as you, crossing them at the ankles. You shifted a bit uncomfortably beside him, not because you were upset about him sitting beside you, but because you were nervous. He smelled good, really good, and you had to repeat over and over in your head, do not look over, because the outline in the crotch of his sweatpants was just far too attractive to your gaze. Your eyes had a mind of their own, as you stole a quick glance, and your bottom lip was held between your teeth for the next ten minutes you sat in silence.
“Doesn’t feel real,” Tex said after a while, and you hummed in response, eyes not daring to peel off the tv. “Charlie.”
“Oh.”
“Seems a little too perfect,” he mumbled, moving to bring a hand to rub over his jaw. His arm brushed against yours. “I don’t like it.”
“You’re thinking too much,” you said, not really paying attention as you were fixated on the screen in front of you. But Tex shrugged, buying into the conversation as he crossed his arms over his chest now.
“You gotta think too much when it comes to Charlie.”
“I think you’re crazy.”
“I am,” he said, and finally, you looked over. “That’s why I know something’s off. Because Charlie’s crazy, too.”
You would be a little worried if he didn’t look so good sitting next to you. And Tex would be a lot more cautious about the situation if you didn’t look so good sitting next to him, either. But alas, there you were.
“Stop thinking, Tex,” you said softly, eyes pouring into his as you glanced between both of them. “Just stop worrying about things for, like, five minutes.”
Tex didn’t say anything to that, he just looked back at you. Then he nodded, after about a minute of silence, and mumbled, “Okay.” Then he moved his hand to the back of your neck, pulling you in, and before you could think your lips were on his. You didn’t realize you’d been waiting so long for this until it was happening, and when it was happening you really didn’t want it to stop. And thankfully, neither did Tex.
Your lips moved perfectly in sync, your tongues meeting the same as well as the kiss was easy and effortless. Your hands came to the sides of his face while he moved one to your waist, pulling you closer, and you got the hint. You moved to straddle him, sitting in his lap with your legs on either side of his as you kissed. It was feverish, you could tell he wanted it as much as you did, if not more. He had both hands on your waist now, moving to feel over your ass as you rolled your hips over his. He moaned into your mouth, and that was when you felt the tent growing in his sweats. If you thought he was big before–
“I don’t want you to do this if–” Tex pulled away quickly, his eyes expressing immense concern as you stared down at him with a confused look. “You… you shouldn’t… I’m putting you in a terrible position and I need you to trust me before anything else and I know you–”
“Tex,” you said, holding his face as he looked up at you. “Shut up.”
“I’m just–”
“I trust you and I want you to keep kissing me, so keep kissing me.” He nodded, and you did it before he could take the lead. The kiss was hungrier this time, passion and emotion fuelled both of you as he carded a hand through your hair and you slid your tongue past his lips. Your hands were on his chest, working their way downwards before finding home in his lap, and you began palming him through the fabric of his sweats. The moan he let into your mouth had you growing wet, and it was then that you made the decision to pull back the waistband of his sweats, and his erection sprung against his stomach. You leaned down and licked the underside of his cock, Tex’s hand coming to the back of your neck warily before he pulled you back.
“Y/N,” he said, breathing heavily as you looked up at him through your eyelashes. “You don’t need to–”
“Shut up for, like, five minutes,” you said, and Tex chuckled slightly before you went back to your previous attempts. You took him into your mouth without hesitance, your hand taking what you couldn’t fit. His head rolled back at the warm feeling, your cheeks hollowed as you bobbed your head up and down, tongue swirling over the head. His hand moved to pull your hair back, tightening his grip when you sucked on the tip, a moan falling past his lips at the feeling.
“Holy fuck,” he cursed, tugging at the roots on your hair firm. You couldn’t tell if it was the pain that came from that or his cock hitting the back of your throat that had tears springing to your eyes. “So fucking good.” Your hand’s motions met your mouth’s as you took as much of him as you could, eliciting the dirtiest sounds. Tex pulled at your hair, moving your head back as you flattened your tongue against the underside of his cock, your eyes peering up at him per his request. “Oh my fucking god.” His eyes were dark as he watched you, your tongue teasing him while his eyes rolled back.
You wrapped your lips around him, sliding his length down your throat and back up again as he moaned. With your hand pumping him up and down, your tongue helping you suck him off, he was growing closer and closer, and the hand tightening in your hair, pushing you further down, only showed that. He was guiding you now, your eyes stinging as you choked for air before coming back up, only to do it again. Your hand worked quickly, your mouth sucking on the tip, and before you knew it he was shooting into the back of your throat within seconds, your name falling past his lips a hundred times. You pulled off of him, swallowing as you looked up at him. He tugged even harder at your hair, groaning. “Where have you been all my life?”
You smiled, but Tex didn’t give you too much time to think before flipping you over, pulling your shorts down and hooking his fingers into the waistband of your panties. He slid them down your legs, quickly replacing them with his fingers as he pushed them through your folds, not missing the hitch of your breath at the feeling.
“Good girl,” he mumbled, circling your clit slowly as he watched your mouth fall agape, thighs trembling all because of his fingers. You whined as he entered a finger, and then two, and by the time he had found a steady pace, curling his fingers inside you to hit your g-spot, you were a mess – moans spilling past your lips, your arousal leaking down your thighs. “That feel good, baby?” He was teasing you now, he knew more than well that it felt good, telling by the incessant moans leaving your parted lips, your hand in his hair. That same hand was pushing him down, wanting something, and luckily Tex knew just what it was.
“Needy girl,” he whispered, pressing a kiss to your inner thigh as he pulled his fingers out of you, messy and dripping down your thighs. You whined as your fingers tugged at his hair, pulling him closer, and finally he gave you what you wanted as his lips were on you in an instant. If you thought his fingers were good you were spiralling now, your head in the clouds as Tex’s was between your thighs, tongue lapping at your wetness, collecting all of your arousal before pushing it back into you. His tongue fucked into you expertly, fingers pressing bruises into your thighs as he held you tightly to stop you from wiggling around so much. He moved to focus on your clit, his fingers thrusting into you as he wrapped his lips around your bundle of nerves, making you cry out when he curled his fingers.
“I–” You were incoherent, back arching and head back as he worked away at you. Your hand dug into his hair, pulling at the roots for dear life as your thighs had no choice but to fall open, all control lost as you neared the edge. He knew you were close, with the way you were clenching around his fingers. His tongue worked to stimulate your clit even faster, a dangerous speed really, as he retracted his fingers and instead squeezed both of your thighs closer, his fingers spreading you open further for him.
“Want you to cum on my tongue, princess,” he mumbled, eyes casting up at you as his words vibrated off you. The moans leaving your lips only increased, the coil in your stomach growing impossibly tighter, and your eyes rolled to the back of your head as you felt his tongue flick over you quickly. The pressure building up finally came to a peak, your orgasm washing over you wonderfully as you let go of his hair, chest rising and falling rapidly. His lips left kisses all over the inside of your thighs and up your stomach.
“Oh my god,” you breathed out, feeling him rest between your legs before you lifted your head to look at him. He smirked at you, placing a kiss on your shoulder while he looked at you. You brought a hand to his jaw, squeezing lightly as you hummed. “You’re absolutely insane.”
“In general or at that?”
“Maybe both,” you said breathily, leaning your head back again, and Tex chuckled as he pressed another kiss to your shoulder. He rolled over to sit back, pulling you into his lap as you brought the sheets up. The two of you sat together, your head on his stomach as Tex ran a hand through your hair.
After a couple minutes of silence, you tilted your head back to look up at the boy, who hadn’t spoken a word. “You still doing all that thinking?”
“Yeah,” he said, eyes focused elsewhere. You hummed.
“Stop it.”
“I can’t,” he mumbled, and you noticed his jaw clench slightly. Not a lot, but a little – enough to tell you that whatever was going on in his brain was a little more than thinking. “Just doesn’t feel right.”
“Me?”
“No.” He looked down at you finally. “Course not you.”
“Then what?”
He glanced back up. “This whole thing. Being free, for the first time in forever. It doesn’t sit right with me.” And it didn’t. There was something itching at Tex’s brain, at his heart, telling him he was missing something. That the pieces didn’t line up – that a piece was missing.
“I think you need to stop thinking.”
He wanted to tell you to stop bugging him about this, because if you knew half of what he did you would be worried too. But he knew it wasn’t your fault, you had no idea. So giving you the benefit of the doubt, he offered you a smile.
“Okay.”
The gut-wrenching feeling went ignored as he stared down at you, sitting pretty in his lap. Everything he wanted. What could go wrong if he stopped thinking for a little while?

Announcing the Small Universe Stony Bingo Mini-Challenge
It’s soon to be Small Universes Month, the final but not least month of the Cap-IM Universe Medley Fest, here at @cap-ironman.
In honor of that month, here’s a challenge for those wanting to try out new universes for SteveTony.
What's the Small Universe Bingo?
The Small Universe Bingo (or SUB for short ;D) is a challenge put together by Agron (jetblackfeeling), Holly (hollyandvice), and Lena (welcomingdisaster) in conjunction with the Cap-IM community. It is intended to focus attention on some of the less popular small universes our favorite heroes appear in. It's a team event where you work together to get bingo (or blackout!) on a specially-generated bingo card filled with different small universes. It's a great way to learn more about our two favorite superheroes in universes where we as a fandom may not usually focus. The only question is, are you up for the challenge?
Schedule and Guidelines under the cut!
Schedule
Team Formation and Sign-up period: Now - Feb 13 10:00 AM EST
Cards sent out: Feb 15
Late Sign-ups Period: Feb 13 - Feb 20 10:00 AM EST
Late Sign-up cards sent out: within 72 hours of sign-up
Fill Creation period: Feb 15 - March 13
Fills due: March 13 10:00 AM EDT
Masterpost published: March 15
Mini-Challenge Guidelines
Steve and Tony's relationship—whether it is romantic, platonic, pre-slash or otherwise—should be the main focus of your work and the “endgame” relationship, if applicable. Fanworks need to be set in the universe given on the bingo square being filled and/or feature at least one of Steve or Tony from that universe. If you are including only one, please make sure that the fanwork focuses on Steve and Tony's relationship.
Fanworks must be previously unpublished and created specifically for this challenge. Works must be standalone and complete, as well as meet the minimum requirements listed below:
Fanfic: 300 words
Fanart: sketch on an unlined surface
Fanvids: 10 seconds
Podfics: 300 words or 3 minutes long
Gifsets: 2 gifs
Meta: 300 words
Playlists: 5 songs and cover art
Please abide by the General Cap-IM Event Guidelines.
How does it work?
Create a team!
Teams can have between one (1) and five (5) members. You must have a team name for the organizers to put on the card. It need not be catchy… though we love us some catchy team names!
Fill out the Google Form to sign your team up. You will need to include one team member's email for the organizer team to send the card to.
Receive a card!
The organizer team will generate a card for you and your team to fill out and send it to the email submitted on the form.
Plan your bingo!
The objective is for your team to collaborate to get a bingo using your card. Accepted bingos include: horizontal line, vertical line, diagonal line, or a "4 corners" bingo (i.e. the four corners and the "free" square in the middle).
Complete fanworks for your given universes!
You can mark off squares by creating a fanwork for the universe in that square. Work as a team to get a bingo, multiple bingos, or even a blackout!
Submit your bingos/blackouts!
First, post the fanwork to the Ao3 collection. Then use the Google Form to submit the links to the works you've completed to achieve your bingo! You can also submit additional fills that didn't make it to a bingo using this Google Form.
FAQ
What kinds of fanworks are eligible?
Because this is a semi-competitive event, we want to make sure all submitted fanworks have a more-or-less comparable degree of difficulty. Therefore, we are limiting worktypes to include: fanfic, fanart, fanvids, podfics, gifsets, meta, and playlists.
What universes are included?
Here is a list of the universes the organizers have collected for the mini-challenge.
What if we REALLY don't like some of the universes on the list?
Teams are allowed up to three (3) vetoes. Those universes will be removed from the list before the team's card is generated. However, if the team elects to veto universes, that team may NOT choose a universe (see below).
What if there's a universe on the list that we REALLY want to create for?
Teams are allowed to pre-select one (1) universe that they really want to create for and have that placed on the card in the spot of their choosing. The remainder of the card will be filled in around that position. However, if the team elects to pre-select a specific universe, that team may NOT choose to veto universes (see above).
What if there's a small universe we want to create for that isn't on the list?
We tried to catch lots of universes with our list. However, it is inevitable that we'll miss some. If there's a universe your team really wants to create for that's not on our list, you can add it using the universe pre-selection option above. If you go this route, please try to include a universe number so that the organizers can include it on the card.
What if I want to do a crossover of two (or more) of the universes in a single work?
That would be super cool! Just note that if you want to get credit for multiple universes in a single work, the requirements will scale according to the number of universes. For example, a crossover with two universes would need to be a fic of 600 words, a fanvid of 20 seconds, a playlist of 10 songs, etc. Three universes would be a fic of 900 words, a fanvid of 30 seconds, and so on. Want to write 7500 words of crossover or design a piece of artwork featuring the Steves and Tonys from all your universes? Go for it! There's a special award waiting for you if you do! ;D
What if we get a universe that doesn't have a Steve or Tony?
Some universe options on the cards only feature one of the boys. In that case, you can feel free to write in the other in any way you desire! The Noir stevetony fandom provides many good examples — only Tony exists in universe, but fanworks have imagined Steve in many different roles, including fellow explorer, soldier, and artist. If you can’t think of any ideas, consider brainstorming on discord, and remember that multiverses crossovers (and multiverse shipping!) are welcome.
What if I want to be part of a team but I don't have anyone to form a team with?
Our first recommendation is to join the Cap-IM Challenges Discord server. We are hopeful that there will be other people searching out a team there! If Discord servers aren't your jam, you can contact Holly by email (
[email protected]) and they will be happy to try to connect you with a team!
What if I have other questions that aren't answered here?
Feel free to contact Holly by email (
[email protected]) and they will be happy to help you!

I always forget to do the games that I’m tagged in, so I’m really happy that I actually managed to finish this ahah
Anywayyy, I was tagged by the wonderful @benoitblanc & @stormbreaker (thank you arwen & roh !!) to do a content creator year in review!
first creation and most recent creation of 2020:
I basically only started giffing properly this year and there’s been a lot of improvement in my ps techniques and general editing style (although I still look at creations from like three months again and go eww). My first creation was this shoddy green avengers: endgame set and my most recent is this luke/vader entrance comparison (on this blog)
one of your favourite creations from 2020:
I think that’d either have to go to my anakin/obi-wan appreciation edit or this Natasha set simply because both of these were definitely learning curves for me, and unlike most of my gifs I like how they turned out!
a creation you’re really proud of:
I went through a phase of making move gif sets focusing on a pairing of colours so I think I’d have to say this aotc set because I like the colours I used (and I made it at like 1am after writing an assignment that wrecked my brain)
a new style you tried this year and a gifset that uses it:
hmm, probably the giffing with multiple gifs using shapes?? So this Steve edit maybe because that star took some gif dimension calculating that made me want to yeet my laptop out the window
a creation that took you forever:
I don’t think I will ever emotionally recover from this set inspired by @anya-chalotra ‘s trend setting gif making techniques. The thought process behind this has aged me, but it also VASTLY improved my ps skills in a short amount of time so thank u for the inspiration Ava!
your creation from 2020 that received the most notes:
this yellow to green gradient spirited away set (I think it’s my most reblogged post too so yeah everyone seems to love studio ghibli.. including me)
a creation you think deserved more notes:
hmm, I feel like once I make a set I just forgot about it after a while if it flops lmao, I don’t need that failure to stay in my thoughts asjkfdh if I had to choose a set I’d say this anakin skywalker edit mainly because anakin deserves at least 1k ahah
a creation with a favourite scene/quote:
this has to go to my i have nothing to prove to you rainbow women edit I don’t know where the idea came from, my brain must have peaked then.. it’s only downhill from here
a new fandom you joined and a creation you made for it:
I’d been a fan of star wars since I was little, but I’d never actually made creations for it. A lot of the ones that I made recently were for the Prequels Appreciation week hosted by @anakin-skywalker (because before all else I am a prequels hoe) so I’m just going to say an example of that is any of the posts I made for that (and I’m pretty sure I’ve tagged them all in this so oop)!
a creation you made that breaks your heart:
maybe this anakin/padme/obi-wan set simply because although that quote was said originally by obi wan, it’s tragic to know that it fits them all perfectly.
a ‘simple’ creation that you really love:
this pink/blue edit that I thought was ugly at the time and now I’m like I’ll probably never be able to make a set like that again because I have no patience asjkfd
a creation that was inspired by another one (add both your creation and the one that inspired it!):
I’m forever inspired by the current techniques that gifmakers use so I’d have to say basically everything I make is at least inspired in some way by someone else aha?
a favourite creation created by someone else - I think if you ever see how much i word vomit in the tags daily, I am in awe at every single edit I see. The creativity and dedication that so many people have on here is inspiring, so here’s a select few that I particularly liked (I could literally go on forever so this was hard)
daenerys edit by @time-turner - i mean, how do i even begin? Each gif displays a different style of talent in gifmaking whether that be through the use of shapes, blending/overlaying gifs or different text effects and it’s just so so so beautiful
the times of day witcher set by @anya-chalotra - i don’t think i will never not be in awe of this edit. The thought process behind this is just incomprehemsible, I don’t even know where this idea came from but the execution is stunning. I especially love the isolation of colour in their eyes.
geralt of rivia yellow &b/w gifset by @rubyredwisp - the contrast between the selected colours is gorgeous, and the way the shapes are used to overlay the gifs is executed perfectly.
tony stark rainbow edit by @stardustony - vero always has stunning colourings on all of her edits, and this one certainly isn’t an exception. Just absolutely beautiful, there are no other words to describe this.
spider-man edit by @momentofmemory - the talent in this set is unreal. Excellent font choices and blending of the gifs, so so seamless & creative.
stranger things s3 rainbow set by @meliorn - as someone who loves colourful gifs as much as I do, a content creator appreciation list would not be complete without one of alice’s edits. The colouring is out of this world, and those shapes that are included in every other gif just bring the whole edit together so smoothly, and just add a whole other level of creativity.
star wars rainbow edit by @anakin-skywalker - talent, creativity, colour, dedication, this edit has it all. Absolutely stunning, the way each colour transitions so smoothly into the next one within this gradient is just wowwee. I could look at this all day.
some of your favorite content creators from the year
content creators have just totally transformed my whole fandom experience, and especially during this year I feel like tumblr has been such a safe place for me?? I admit I’m not the best at always getting back to everyone on time, but just getting to know a lot of you or seeing the creations everyone has beeing maing throughout this year has been such a positive thing in this mostly negative year. So thank you!
@anakin-skywalker @timothyolyphant @time-turner @yenvengerberg@kamalaskhans @anya-chalotra @seance @stormbreaker @wandamaximoffs @ewan-mcgregor @meliorn @benoitblanc @rockyblue @withered-rose-with-thorns @bartonclinton @coulter @captainhandsomes @jackmans @bladesrunner @clintfbarton @daenerys-targaryen @soka-tano @kkastle @darthanckin @ourteeth
and for good measure, another a couple more creations of yours that you love:
this orange/blue catws set (just ignore how bad the quality is, my sharpening skills were not great then), this natasha edit & rainbow aiw edit
tagging everyone tagged above (feel free to ignore seeing as I posted this on the last day of the year asjfdhjk)
