HALLOWEEN DAY 2: Too scary - Multi!Muse x Fem!Reader
Pairing: Multi!muse x Fem!Reader
Warnings: Mentions of scary movies, trauma, blood, gore, etc. Nothing too graphic
Type: Blurbs
Request: N/A
Word Count: N/A
Prompt: Turns out the movie was too terrifying for little Y/N to handle, therefore it’s their job to comfort you.
Notes: Let’s see how long I can keep this up.
Jason Voorhees: At first he wouldn’t notice, mostly focused on the movie and the candy he’s stuffing his face with. When you’d shuffle around, when he’d notice the constant movement, then he’d take a look at you only to find you with your knees close to your chest with your arms wrapped around them. It’d take a moment for him to register that your stomach was turning at the imagery. Once he would, Jason would instantly coop you up into his arms and keep you in a tiny ball, doing his best to protect you from your thoughts.
Michael Myers: He can smell fear, he’s always been exposed to fear all around him, it’s like second nature to him. When he realizes you’re afraid of the movie, he turns over to stare at you for a moment, which makes you even more uneasy. Thinking Michael looks at you like you’re a big baby, you decide to just cross your arms and brave through the rest of the film. Of course, failing miserably. Michael would force you into his arms, letting you kind of flop into his arms and situate yourself however you wanted.
Tiffany Valentine: She loves horror movies, it’s one of the things that could keep her occupied. While your stomach twists at the imagery and blood splatter on the screen, Tiffany seems mesmerized by it, not paying much attention to your squeamish reaction. Once you’re both done with the movie, she’d turn to you asking “So, how’d you like it?” Only to see you near traumatized. “Y/N!” Tiffany would wrap her arms around your face and bring you into her chest, pressing you into a hug. “Was that too scary? Why didn’t you say anything babe?” Of course she’d make it up to you, with much affection and endearment.
Billy Loomis: Doesn’t even notice at first how uncomfortable you are, no matter how much you nuzzle into him. A few flinches in, he’d look down to you to make sure you were awake, but to see you near in tears would cause him to stop the movie. “Y/N? You okay? We can stop watching this, I just thought you’d like to see it with me.” He knew better than to keep it playing when you’d tell him you were fine. “No, I mean, it’s kinda lame anyway, here’s the remote, find something better. I’m gonna get another beer, you want anything?” Then he’d come back, lay into the arm rest and bring you down with him, making sure you were cuddled into the blanket on the couch.
Stu Macher: What a dumbass, he wouldn’t really notice at all if you were crying or looking away from the screen too much. He’s “in the moment” with the gory scenes. After the movie, Stu would ask you how you’d like it only to see hot tears streaming down your cheeks. He’d laugh a little bit at how scared you looked, but then would give you the tightest hug. Stu would hold you tightly enough to give you some troubles breathing regularly, letting you put on some cartoons to forget the imagery. Will this happen again? Absolutely.
Patrick Bateman: Ok, he’s probably the worst of them all. Patrick watches snuff films and all kinds of gruesome films for fun. When you brought it up to his attention, he was more than happy to show you what he liked and explain to you the different methods of torture and what part inflicted the most pain. Even if you’d throw up, Patrick would keep the film going, mesmerized by the screams telling you “It’s actually not that bad.” But he’d let you hide into his arm, clenching onto it as you did so, but there was no way to hide from the terrorizing screams and Patrick's chuckle throughout it.
Leatherface: Honestly always checking up on you through every scene. Bubba doesn’t even want you to watch the scary films, he would think you were too pure for them, ironically. If you insisted though, he’d let you, holding you close to him and giving you space to hide if you needed to look away, which seemed to be often. Bubba would be ready to turn off the screen at any moment, one arm wrapped around you and the other one with the finger on the off button. He too would let you watch cartoons with him after. Bubba would offer you your favorite junk food or candy and let you snuggle into him while you laugh at the new pictures on the screen.
Harley Quinn: Is SUPER into horror. Laughs at the screams and blood splatter “Y/N! Y/N! Did ya see that? Did ya see it?! Let me rewind it.” Harleys a bit clueless when it comes to seeing your discomfort at first, but then when she notices you keep flinching or looking away, her expression immediately changes. “Oh my god Y/N? Are you afraid of this? You shoulda said something pumpkin’!” Immediately cuddles you and keeps you close to her chest, changing the channel to a Disney movie. Harley would be THE best at comforting you, squeezing the near life out of you to keep you comfortable and your mind off of things. Lots of comfort food, honestly.
Poison Ivy: Isn’t necessarily obsessed with horror movies and gore, not very interested in it either but she doesn’t mind playing the exorcist for background noise. If you’re not obviously telling her that you’re scared or you want to play something else, she would pick up on how you would react. Flinching at certain moments in the movie, looking away from the screen constantly, all things Pamela would notice, putting two and two together, she’d turn off the TV, telling you simply “What a trashy movie, let’s go play.” And would lead you into the bedroom for some TLC. Pamela’s love language would be physical touch and she would make sure you would get enough of it to fall asleep to. She’d make a mental note to stay away from horror movies with you.
Bruce Wayne: Never was really big with horror movies to begin with. Bruce grew up with musicals and operas, he was cultured in filmmaking, but horror never really made a mark in his interests, mainly because of the real life horrors he had to face already. Of course Bruce picks up on everything, noticing your reluctance in watching any more of this movie, he decides to nuzzle you into him, not saying a word and changing the channel, or taking your hand to lead you out of the theater. After all, Bruce knew what it felt like to be afraid. Expect a ton of tender touches and soft kisses.
Jason Todd: Sweetest energy tbh. Whether your watching a scary movie as a group or together, his reaction would be similar in both scenarios. As soon as he’d feel your palm in a cold sweat he’d look for your reaction, even if you try to brave through it, Jason would pull your face into his chest, kissing the top of your head. ‘What a bullshit ass movie.” He’d mumble while subconsciously caressing the back of your head. “You’re being brave dollface, but you don’t have to be.” He’d whisper to you and give you a squeeze. ”Come on, let’s get out of here.”
Billy Hargrove: Notices instantly, but wouldn’t want to call you out on it. Instead he would also pull a stunt like Pamela. Telling you “This is kinda tacky, lets leave.” And would lead you out of the movie theater, turn off the TV or leave whatever house party you were at. He’d make sure to never let you go, holding your hand, keeping his arm around your waist as usual, always being protective of you. Billy would make you feel safe enough to tell him what happened and what was wrong and why. He’d actually listen to you, being quiet for a moment, letting it all sink in, then comfort you by telling you “That’s nothin’ to be embarrassed about, I had a few movies that scared the daylights out of me, but you know I’m never gonna let anything happen to you.”
Steve Harrington: Knows from the start that you don’t like horror movies, he doesn’t either but he can stomach a lot more than you can. Steve was kind of taken a back when you insisted that it would be fine to have a movie night with your friends even though they planned a horror marathon. When the kill scenes would get severely worse as the movie progresses, you’d get more uncomfortable and at this point it seemed like an unspoken competition to see who could stomach more gore, you or Steve. Still, when you’d take a nap, shifting and shuffling around in the blankets, he’d know the movie maybe actually got to you. Steve would hug you tightly, caress your face when you’d drift in and out of sleep.
Steve Rogers: Would be such a big time caregiver energy. When you’d hide your face away in certain scenes, Steve would notice instantly, hugging you closely through the scene. If you kept showing discomfort, Steve would take you from the room, not offering an explanation to anyone. “Come on sweetheart, let’s go do something else” He never really understood the concept or horror movies, nor the appeal, so it wasn’t like he was missing out on anything. Steve would pick you up, letting you hide into his chest or his neck. He’d kiss your head, cheek and neck constantly, slow and full of love. “Come on angel, let’s watch something else.” He’d turn on the TV letting you chose any cartoon movie you’d be in the mood to watch.
Bucky Barnes: Also with Steve energy, he’d let you hide into him. He kind of understood the concept of the horror movies, even liked a couple but not to the extent those around you both would like. His heart melts when he sees you pout and avoiding looking at the screen. Closing your eyes waiting for the screaming to stop, Bucky would want nothing more than to reach over and pull you onto him, letting you hide into him and tell you everything was okay and it was only a movie. When the movie would be over, he’d check up on you, making sure you weren’t still thinking of it, which more than likely you were and he wouldn’t hesitate to spend the night with you, letting you curl into his body, being three times your size and keeping you safe from whatever horror you saw today.
Wanda Maximoff: She would notice it the second scene in, the minute you hesitated to agree on a horror marathon with the team, she knew maybe you were a little bit more of a baby than she initially thought. She’d play it off with you as well, telling the team the movie seemed boring and that she just wanted to go to bed, she was tired. When the others would dismiss her, not paying much attention, she would look at you, who stayed sitting in silence. “Y/N? Are you okay? You keep nodding off, come join me, let’s get you to bed.” Wanda would be your saving grace and of course she would let you sleep in her bed, keeping you comfortable and safe in her pillow fortress and arms.
Loki Laufeyson: He’d always notice any sort of discomfort in you, knowing that you weren’t able to stomach much of the gory scenes but a part of him wanted to see how much you were able to handle. Loki would sit where he was able to look at you with just a flicker of his eyelids in your direction. When you’d all have a movie night, Loki would be the one to agree to watch something gruesome just to see you squirm in your seat. When it would be too much to handle for you and you’d have to excuse yourself, Loki would come to your aid when he would pass by your room to see you sitting on the corner, hugging yourself trying to erase the imagery out of your head by watching your favorite comfort films. “Y/N? How are you doing?”
Cloud Strife: He’s not very fazed by horror movies or anything of that sort, but if he feels you hide against him again throughout the movie, he would let you. He’d hesitate to put his arm around you, but if you snuggle into it, he’d squeeze you in. Because this seemed to be very unlike Cloud, snuggling into his torso would be the most comforting thing. Cloud would let you sleep with him if you admitted you were scared, letting you snuggle in under the covers with him, he’d drape an arm over you and keep you close as you drifted off to sleep.
Aerith Gainsborough: Not terribly interested in horror movies, but would watch a few just to spend some time. Aerith has quite the strong stomach compared to you and the rest of your friends. She could sit there and watch a full marathon with you guys no problem, but if you couldn’t handle it, she’d understand and take a walk with you, picking flowers for you on the sidewalk as she would try to distract you from the imagery from before. Her smile surely would help, Aerith would be the perfect person to comfort you for something that seems as silly as a horror movie.
Sebastian Michaelis: He’d seen it all, fear is not something he was very familiar in feeling, but he knew it came as second nature to the human species. If you were afraid of a movie or show, he’d find it amusing to see you worked up over false imagery when he had seen much worse, all real as well. Sebastian would still excel in his duty to comfort you, assuring you there was nothing to fear, since he would never let anything hurt you. Being cared for by him in this way did help, you knew he meant it and it was silly for you to worry about anything that was plastered across a screen.
Spencer Reid: Would be so wholesome, he had seen so much gruesome scenes, often inspiring many of the plots of movies you two were watching, but he knew to spare you the details. When Spencer heard you wanted to see a horror movie with him, he was surprised, letting you decide which one, but when it was too much for you, he knew right when to stop it and ask you if you were okay, not wanting to have you get nightmares for the next week straight. Spencer would soothe you, holding you close to him, letting you lay down onto him and snuggle under a blanket. He’d play something more wholesome, maybe a Disney classic in the background or some sort of comedy to keep your mind off the previous imagery.

The best Sherlock Holmes adaptation (that people hardly know)
The stories and adventures of Sherlock Holmes is probably one of the most well-known, most referenced, and most recognizable series out there, as well as one with an insane number of adaptations. Hell, Sherlock Holmes even holds the world record of being the literary character with the most screen adaptations.
This has led to many, many people making ranked lists of their favorite adaptations, and I've looked at a lot of them to see if my favorite one appears. It doesn't. Not here, here, here, here, here, here, or here.
On the Wikipedia page for Sherlock Holmes adaptations, it is listed...in the external links section, at the very bottom of the webpage; it's only visible by expanding the "screen adaptations of Sherlock Holmes" panel
On here, under the three names it's regularly tagged as, there are a collective 13.9k followers (the breakdown is 5.2-1.9-6.8). In comparison, the "bbc sherlock" tag has 47k followers, "sherlock" has 644k, and "john watson" has 13k followers. Pretty underrated, if you ask me.
And so, you're probably wondering what this adaptation is, and why I think it's the best. Wonder no further!
The best Sherlock Holmes adaptation (at least, to me) that is criminally underrated is called Yuukoku no Moriarty, or Moriarty the Patriot. (and before you ask, yes, it's a manga! with its own anime!)
Now, because this post is already long enough, and because there is going to be A LOT OF BIG SPOILER WARNINGS, I'll be defending my claim under the read-more. But with that out of the way, let me begin...
Reason #1: Wait, Moriarty??
Moriarty is well-known to be the arch nemesis of Sherlock Holmes. He's the big baddie of the original series. So why in the world is this adaptation named after the villain? Because the plot is focused around Moriarty. As far as I am aware, this could be the ONLY adaptation so far that has done this (please correct me if I'm wrong! I'd love to find more). Furthermore, the "James Moriarty" in question is actually three brothers: Albert, Louis, and William (the "main" Moriarty), and the overarching plot follows their schemes as "the Lord of Crime" to... change 19th century England for the better?
Tumblr media
Reason #2: The Premise is INTERESTING as FUCK
Yeah, you heard me! The big baddie in this adaptation is trying to do what they deem as "good"! It's called Moriarty the Patriot because William, Louis, and Albert are trying to make England a better country in their own ways; they view the class system of 19th century England to be, quite frankly, shit, and want to lessen the abuse and dehumanization of the lower class caused by the nobles. And, well, they do this by killing corrupt nobles. Or, well, more accurately, they help people commit crimes to kill the nobles, and stage it to look like an accident or make it extremely difficult to solve. It's actually really fun and cathartic to watch imo, especially in the early episodes of the anime and the early chapters of the manga. I'll come back to the plot later, but for now, I think it's time to get back to the characters.
Reason #3: The Gang's all Here!
The three Jame Moriarty brothers aren't the only characters: you also have the baker street gang (Sherlock Holmes, John Watson, and Ms Hudson), the Baker Street Irregulars, Mycroft, Sebastian Moran from the original series, Lestrade, Irene Adler, Herder (another character from the original series), and interestingly enough, Billy the Kid (in the manga). And these characters aren't just one-dimensional name-drops, but characters with so much personality, backstory, and motives. Take, for example, Sebastian Moran: he's a sniper who works for the Lord of Crime, yeah, but it's because he has a long-earned loyalty to William; both of them have a keepsake from the other, and after William's supposed death during this adaptation's version of "The Final Problem", it's the keepsake he gave to William that saves him from a dark path (there's much more to this story in particular, but you'll have to find out more yourself if you're interested). Also, there's Moneypenny in the manga. But why the hell is she here?
Reason #4: His name is James. James Bond (and he's trans!)
NAME ONE OTHER FUCKING SHERLOCK HOLMES ADAPTATION THAT HAS JAMES BOND, I'LL WAIT. YOU CANNOT. But yes, James fucking Bond is in Moriarty the Patriot, and is one of the best characters for many reasons. One of them? We actually meet him as a woman. And who is that woman, you might ask?
Irene Adler.
Tumblr media
(note: the version I read calls him James Bond, but from what I've heard, his name is actually spelled "James Bonde" to avoid copywrite issues. However, for this post, I'll use "Bond") It's...incredible. The entire arc introducing Irene Adler and her arc into becoming James Bond is one of my favorite arcs in Moriarty the Patriot. It takes the original "A Scandal in Bohemia" and sprints with it. Like, the entire Bohemian-king-wanting-that-photograph with Sherlock and Watson is just a ploy, so Irene can be under the protection of public-hero Sherlock by tricking him into thinking he blew up her house with his smoke-bomb trick. Because she stole ENGLISH GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS SO CLASSIFIED, THE GOVERNMENT WANTS HER DEAD. It's just the way the series builds off the original works by Doyle in a way that not only stays true to the original, but is also its own thing. Because yeah, we don't see Irene Adler again after her "scandal" is solved; and that's because she fakes her death as Irene, and starts working under the Moriarty brothers as James Bond, now a man. Additionally, Moriarty the Patriot handles Bond being trans in an amazing way. Him being trans is no joke! The Moriarty group accept him as a man the moment he tells them (except for Sebastian Moran, who's confused about it at first before he warms up to it; in all actuality, it's his confusion and reluctance that's joked about, not Bond's manhood, which is a refreshing thing to see as a queer person myself). Even when reuniting with Sherlock, John Watson, and Ms Hudson, the three are respectful and understanding. Oh my god wait a minute I just realized I haven't even mentioned Sherlock yet-
Reason #5: Benedict Cumberbatch WHO
Sherlock Holmes in this adaptation is the best Sherlock, hands down. Why? Because he's fun, goddammit! So many Sherlock adaptations see the genius personality of Sherlock Holmes and see nothing else. They make him cold, uncaring, calculative. A lot of Sherlocks would shoot a man dead for a lead on a case. But not this Sherlock. Is this the face of a man who's cold and uncaring?
Tumblr media
HELL FUCKING NO! And he's literally presented with the opportunity to shoot a man for a lead on a case, and he turns it down! Because he's good! Yeah, he's prideful. Yeah, he can be a prick. He treats Scotland Yard like a joke. But he's also silly. He's kind to the people he cares about. He wants to help people. He's hilarious with Ms Hudson and Mycroft, and his interactions with William Moriarty is one of the best things to read about in this adaptation, because their cat-and-mouse game matters so, so much in this story.
Reason #6: Cat and mouse; puppet and puppeteer; friend and...friend?
Sherlock has a very interesting role in Moriarty the Patriot as a whole. Sure, he's the detective. But he's so much more. When he's introduced (in episode 6 of the anime, mind you!) to the story, the overarching plan of William and his brothers shift to include him: William wants him to be the hero of the play they're setting for the country, because in the end, William plans to be defeated as a common enemy of the people. And so, the game begins. The Lord of Crime starts setting up crimes for Sherlock to solve, so he gains publicity. So he's recognized as the hero. He's the only man smart enough to solve the trail of breadcrumbs Moriarty leaves, after all. Sherlock starts as just a puppet in the plan of things. Led along on strings from crime-to-crime, slowly piecing things together. And Sherlock hates it. But...Sherlock and William meet outside of being a simple detective and criminal. They meet on a ship, and for the first time, William finds his mind not drafting up plans or thinking as the Lord of Crime the first time they speak to each other. And for the first time, Sherlock finds someone with a mind equal to his own. They meet again, on a train, and solve a murder together (one William was NOT behind). And behind this game of cat-and-mouse, behind the puppet and puppeteer, something blooms. When Sherlock learns that yes, the William James Moriarty he's grown to known is indeed the Lord of Crime, he's not mad. He's...glad.
Tumblr media
(note: Sherlock calls William Moriarty "Liam", beginning with their meet on the train; he's the only character in the series who does this. Not even the other Moriarty brothers call their brother "Liam")
He's glad it was William; it couldn't have been anyone else, in his opinion. It wouldn't have been worth it otherwise. It all comes to head in this series' version of "The Final Problem", where Sherlock finally confronts Moriarty, once and for all. It's where William plans to be defeated by his nemesis, the hero. Because he's the self-proclaimed villain. "Catch me if you can, Mr Holmes", is what he challenged to Sherlock on the train, after he joked about William being the Lord of Crime. And Sherlock catches him, in the end. But not as a detective. He catches him, as a companion, after William jumps to his death into the river Thames to set his defeat to Sherlock in stone.
Tumblr media
Reason #7: What Comes After
The anime ends after "The Final Problem", but the manga continues. And this is where I really, really think this adaptation shines its brightest, with the aftermath of everything the series has been building to. The main reason Moriarty chooses his death is because of the bad things he's done his entire life. He never enjoyed killing people, but felt he had to, and felt his death was the proper "punishment" for it. But through Sherlock, he finds that that isn't the answer. It's obvious that Sherlock would live through the fall into the Thames. But what about William? In most adaptations, he dies. In the original, he died. But in this? They both live. They both survive. Some big ideas floating around before "The Final Problem" involved revenge. An eye for an eye, if you will. Judgement, and delivering it. But afterwards? It's atonement. It's forgiveness, and the lack of it. It's growth, and redemption. They're saved and taken to America to recover and start new lives. William Moriarty finds ways to atone for his actions without choosing death. Sherlock does too, for his own crimes. They decide, together, to begin anew, find new purposes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and it's beautiful. When they return to England, three years after their disappearances, their growth is obvious and amazing to see; the other members of the Moriarty gang have also chosen their own paths of redemption, and seeing it all come together is something I'll always enjoy rereading over and over. And the redemption and reunion with England is just the end of part 1 of the story. There's more to be made with this series.
Reason #8: Made With Love
It's so, so obvious that Moriarty the Patriot was made with love for the original series. The way details of the original stories are kept and built off of to work flawlessly as it's own story is something I will be continously impressed by. There was so much thought, heart, and soul put into this adaptation, and you can tell it by reading and watching it. There are so, so much more I could go into—like the music in the anime, deeper dives into the arcs of the main cast, how well the relationships between characters are formed and established—but I think it'd be better for you to just find out all of these things by yourself.
So please, if you've gotten this far, give Moriarty the Patriot a try. Let it prove to you how good it is. Let it show you that it really is the best Sherlock Holmes adaptation out there.

Episode 6 and 7 thoughts
This will now be a regular thing
Also im writing this as I go
Episode 6
So Izzy thought Ed was Roach. Huh. Does he and Roach talk regularly? <- Coming from a Rizzy shipper
“Do weeeee?” Fang I love you
Oh my god, Frenchie and Jim coming to Ed and Stede like they’re kids asking if their cousins can sleep over
The crew going shoppiiiiiiiiing!!!
Frenchie’s lil dancey dance added many years to my life
Ed being nice and giving kids mon- oh never mind, oh that’s a knife okay. Ed never have kids please
“Don’t pirate kids” well listen okay I don’t have HBO Max it’s the only way I can watch this show
MY QUEEN
Wee John you’re so beautiful and amazing and we don’t deserve you
Jim’s lil mustache, like yeah me too <- Non-Binary person
Stede looks so happy about seeing Wee John!! He’s so proud of his son!
Izzy is gorgeous. I’m actually so happy to see him explore more sides of himself, and to find things he can indulge in. This whole season has really just been Izzy’s big therapy arc
His hair makes him look a bit like Cinderella’s evil stepmother though
Oh he can sing too! Izzy!!! <- A person who did not like Izzy in season one
Wee John X Izzy? Roach X Fang?
YO THE
POLYCULE DANCING?!
Ed protecting Stede….just, immediately putting him behind himself…I just…
I rewatched that clip five times
“Because I only hang out with cool pirates” Stede’s face!!! He’s just like Oh Snapppp
Despite it all, Stede and Ed are still the cutest couple that has ever graced the TV screen. Like hell yeah, make fun of people together!
Ed keeps being protective…..okay I need a moment…
Roach you’re a lunatic and I love you
“Whatever this is it’s just gonna turn me on” Izzy you’re a shining star
Also I just now noticed that Black Pete and Lucius aren’t there. I’m guessing they eloped somewhere and are currently taking care of their adopted cat
Nope okay, literally the second I unpaused there they are. That’s the worst timing
Hell yeah my dudes, I hope you broke whatever bed you used
“I’m just doing it for the lolz” Yeah that’s sounds like something someone from the 1700s would say
I know this is a pirate ship but why do they just have so many knives and swords laying about
Who is this fanged torture queen, and how do I acquire her number?
Stede remains best employer, while Aziraphale is the best landlord. Can these two people just run the world please and thank you
Hell Cat Maggie is my soulmate
I feel like there needs to be a pirate workers union
The crew of the revenge is the best found family of all time
Stede Bonnet can rival Steven Universe in reforming villains, like he’s just such a genuinely nice dude
“Alright gang! Let’s talk profit sharing”
Oh protective Stede, alright let’s go mate defend your mans
Okay but why is Stede kinda 👀 in this scene
Oh Stede, love…
OH THEY FAWHKING
That French? Izzy speaks french?
I want to see that man get dicked down
I guess the revenge now has a pet goat
Episode 7
Okay Ed is a soft boy again, aight
NO NOT THE LEATHER JACKET
The anime toast in mouth thing. He’s officially been baby girl for a long while, but we’re really solidifying it
OH THEY FUCKED
Isn’t there an anime where a mob boss becomes a house wife? Yeah that’s Ed
Oh we’re telling him about the mermaid fantasy, okay
Izzy what the fuck, you’re amazing
“He’s jealous” my darling
The polycule is going strong, and I love the absolute lack of jealousy. This is the best representation I have ever had
Oh they’re going on a date! That’s so sweet actually
It’s really sweet that they’re talking about their time apart
Stede’s famous now? Good for him!
I need to stop falling in love with every pirate lady In this show. That being said, I hope we see more of the fangirl lady
I’m reinforcing my claim that Stede and Ed are cuter than anything that has ever been on screen
OH MY GOD SWEDE
The Söt Och Saftig, my love. Also this far in and this is the first time the character “The Swede” actually says something in Swedish
Scammer Frenchie is back in business, love that
Jim and Archie trying to get their boyfriend set up is very sweet actually
The character development of Izzy going from wanting Ed to remain “Blackbeard” to him saying if being a softie makes him happy then he should do that, like I get it now, I know why you all love this man
OH MY FUCKING GOD STEDE
Can’t believe Stede is an official Slut now
Open communication? Like genuine conversation about their relationship, and the pace they’re taking it? Ed being honest that he’s not ready for the steps they’re taking in their relationship?
What is this argument
I live for Lucius and Black Pete’s nicknames for each other
“I’ve only known you for a few hours Bonnet, but I’d fucking die for ya” Same random dude. Same
Izzy🥹
Zheng and Olu are really cute actually
Oh my god the polycule will end my fucking life
DONT BRING ED INTO THIS ZHENG
“That was really mean” YOU TELL HER STEAK KNIFE
Protective Jim my beloved
Oh my god
Roach and Fang friendship?
Roach is the queen of self care

This is guaranteed to contain spoilers!
1. 7 Days before Valentine (1/12 WeTV)
Hm... This was not what I expected. The acting was a little bit over the top. I don't know if I can stand Sunshine. The feeling this first episode gave me was kinda off. I don't know. Right now I don't know if I want to keep watching it.
2. BL Drama no Shuen ni Narimashita: Crank Up Hen (1/3 on Gaga)
This series gives me so much joy! I wasn't expecting this being so funny! It is hilarious, a little bit cringy, but for the right amount and not over the top. It is really a blast. The characters are lovable and the managers are the best 😂 I am really enjoying myself with this one.
3. Cherry Magic (3/12 on Youtube)
I love the japanese version and I try to not compare those two with each other. So far I am doing quite well. I liked the first epiosde. I like Tay as this absolutely whipped character. And for now I am hating GMMTV for a lousing contract and the Japan's network for copyright strinking the series so we international fans aren't able to watch the series anymore on legal sites...
4. Cityboy_Log (11/? on Youtube)
Soon-to-be Idols, actors and models vlog their days of photo shoots and meetups and how they fall in love with each other. It is surprisingly good and the acting is excellent. It really feels like a "real" vlog and that is what we are all here for. I really enjoy those four men on my screen.
5. Cooking Crush (2/12 on Youtube)
I have to admit beside Not Me, I am not the biggest fan of OffGun. Their slapstick humour is just not mine. I can't get the right feeling for this series right now. I will wait and see how it turns out with more episodes... Guess I'll drop this one soon if I am not watching the next episode and catch up on the already aired ones...
6. Dead Friend Forever (1/12 on iQiyi)
Do I like horror? Nope, not at all. But so far I had fun with the first episode. Everytime there was some suypence I just looked away and as long as there are no creepy sounds I am good. The plot gives such a typical highschool/college horror vibe and I kind of like it.
7. For Him (1/12 on iQiyi)
I don't know if I will keep up with this one. Actingwise it is not that bad. We have to wait a bit for a deeper story. Right now it is just friends with benefits and I really hope there is something more to come. But a safe-sex-policy! I like that. And I forgot about this one... Guess it was a little bit much these past weeks. I don't know if I'll drop this at the end of the month or not...
8. Last Twilight (8/12 on Youtube)
I got fucking emotional when Mhok read from The Little Prince and they had this whole big conversation through the book and I am in tears just thinking about it. The Little Prince is very special to me. The series is so soft and so good! The friendship that they build up, the trust between them, the looks, the tension! I love it! And Mhok is the biggest green flag, disguised as a red flag ever! He is the warmest person ever!
9. Pit Babe (7/13 on Youtube)
Ladies and Gentlemen! We have an Omegaverse! I am still in shock! I usually don't dive into the omegaverse, but I did read some webtoons. I am curious how they'll play it out. What the hell was this conversation about wanting kids? Is there mpreg? Why do I have to think about such stuff... It would be something different indeed. But perhaps they wanted to have some fun with us...
10. Playboyy (6/14 on Gaga)
I am intrigued! I needed to call my best friend and tell her about what I have seen. Not just the amount of sex and masturbation and wet dreams, but the way it is filmed. I am intruígued! It looks like a romantic dream combined with porn. It is so artsy and it feels like watching a ballet. In it the dance explains the plot and here the sex, the camera, the lightning and everything around the plot describe the plot. It is so good!
11. Sahara Sensei to Toki-kun (3/8 on Gaga)
Toki is a little bit over the top for me, a little bit too goofy, but the obverall first impression was not that bad. And to be honest who didn't have a crush on a teacher during their school time? Mine was my german teacher in 10th grade. He was young and he wore leather pants. He was cool and really good at his job. I loved learning at that time.
12. The Sign (6/12 on Youtube)
I am already in love with this series! Mystical elements, a good chemistry between the actors, some fighting, naked men... What else could I wish for... Oh yeah, and an accidental kiss 😂 But I still enjoyed it so much!
13. Twins (9/12 on Gaga)
I don't know what it is. The story is... nothing special. The acting is okayish. Sprite's/Zee's facial expression need some time to get used to. And yet, I like this show! It is one of my most anticipated watches of the week. I like First and I LOVE enemies to lovers 😅 It is one of my weak spots!
Finished in December
Series
1. Boys Like Boys (10/10 on Gaga)
This taiwanese dating show accompaniese eight men on their six days journey to find love. All the contestants were so lovable and nice and unique. I enjoyed this show very much! My romance-heart had been fed over the past weeks with this show and with the last episode it got a suger overdose 😅 Because this is a dating show and not a regular series, my rating is a little bit simpe. I liked it so it gets 10 out of 10 points.
2. Bake me please (6/6 on Gaga)
This series is so good! It gave me a good feeling over the weeks. Even though the drama in episode five was a little bit too manufactured and a bit too much, I enjoyed the show. It made my sundays something special and gave me a real warm feeling. I can just recommend it to watch (perhaps binge it while eating delicious cake and drink some hot chocolate). I will miss it! And I liked Ohm and Guide together! Peach was such a sweetheart and his smiles made me smile. Guy... I loved you, than I hated you and in the end I just liked you... You lost me in episode 5... Because it made me feel so good, I give it a 10 out of 10.

I wasn’t really a big fan of The Giggle by the time I finished watching it, and I liked it less the more that I thought about it. Which is a real shame, because I think it was full of a lot of great ideas that were squandered with poor execution. I didn’t really want to just post pages of negativity, so I’ll quickly skim through a list of things I think could’ve been done better, and maybe I’ll expand on some of them later or if I’m asked about them. Still, this is your warning for negativity.
The whole 'screens are evil and making everyone think they're right' felt so shallow and cheap, especially because it was set up as the main obstacle and then largely ignored. A lot of the characters at UNIT really didn't do much (I totally forgot about The Vlinx after my first watchthrough) but I think that didn't bother me much while watching because I was used to Chibnall regularly ignoring characters like that. It was nice to see Mel again, but she didn’t really serve much purpose.
RTD’s take on the Toymaker is quite similar to his take on the Master, which was sometimes fun and sometimes annoying (specifically the German accent, which lost its appeal pretty quickly for me). But he felt pretty hollow and full of wasted potential beyond that, feeling like he was there just to give the episode a villain. Although speaking of the Master, his brief inclusion was hilarious and an easy way to write him back into the show later, nicely done.
The last third of the episode had some many intriguing and potentially awesome ideas behind it. The new Doctor turning up partway through a story? Cool! The Doctor defeating his final villain alongside the next star of the show? Fun! The Doctor getting self-care and words of wisdom from his next self? So heartwarming! One Doctor retiring to be happy while his next incarnation travels off to continue the adventures? A fun use of the show's format!
But for me these ideas just didn’t work or didn’t fulfill their potential, and it’s mostly because there’s no narrative justification for them. No cause and effect. There’s no given reason for the Doctor to bigenerate, it just happens. There’s no particular reason that it was the Doctors rather than the Toymaker who won the game of catch to save the world, it just happens. Without any narrative reason the third act feels so unsatisfying, like spectacle for the sake of spectacle, and (I don’t say this lightly) incredibly lazily written.
That lack of story reason also undermines the ending, clearly the thing RTD was most interested in, by making it feel unearned. Like a first draft script that worked backwards to make it happen. The retirement ending itself I have mixed feelings about, which I’m not sure I can fully articulate. One thing I love to see is that RTD can actually do a genuinely happy ending rather than making every ending a tragedy. But said happy ending feels a little too ‘married-with-kids-and-a-white-picket-fence’ to me – though obviously I can’t stress enough how relieved I am that romance didn’t factor into it. It just felt like it wasn’t set up well enough. I’d probably like it a lot more if they made clear if Tennant’s Doctor was going to turn into Gatwa’s Doctor or if they’re just separate people now. It was sweet of RTD to try and bring a conclusion to the ‘Doctor is traumatised’ thing that he introduced to the show 18 years ago, but he did it poorly. At least it offers interesting new possibilities for the show going forward!
With all that said, in the end The Giggle felt to me like RTD retreading some of his biggest flaws as a writer, and throwing in a few borrowed from other showrunners for good measure. It was a disappointment both because of the good ideas just below the surface, and because it came after a very fun first episode and an incredible follow-up.
But like I said, I’m excited to see what the show does next! I saw talk that there’ll be lots of mythical and unnatural creatures turn up due to the Doctor’s salt thing, which is super cool. And obviously I’m excited for more Gatwa! I haven’t really felt a lot of reason to be excited about Ruby yet, but as always I’m ready to fall in love with the new companion quickly!

I feel like you’re giving Steve (who I love, don’t get me wrong) a little too much credit here—
I don’t think Steve ever went out of his way to bully anyone, so I don’t think he ever bullied Robin or Eddie and only got an attitude with Jonathan after he took the pictures of him and Nancy.
But I think the argument that Steve would’ve stood up to Tommy and Carol and stopped them if they were bullying or just generally being dicks to other kids is a little overly optimistic. I think Steve wouldn’t have done anything— he wouldn’t have joined in the bullying but I don’t think he would’ve stopped them either unless they were going too far. I think his whole arc in season 1 is that he was a popular kid who went along with what everybody else did and what he was expected to do and it was because of Nancy that he finally said fuck these guys and dumped Tommy and Carol and went to go apologize to Jonathan.
I think “bullying” is only viewed in this fandom in black and whites when we are shown that Tommy and Carol were mean kids, they both tried to bully Nancy away from Steve, both made fun of Jonathan for being weird and the whole thing with his brother, and they were both kinda dicks to Barb. I don’t think this makes them evil characters but kids bully other kids, and bullying isn’t solely classified as beating up other kids and stuffing them into lockers.
I’m glad Steve had the arc he did but when people say he would NEVER stand by and let Tommy and Carol bully other kids when he has just takes away from Steve’s whole arc.
Now when people want to act like Steve could act like a bully after season 1, that’s where I have a problem. Because it was that whole arc in season 1 of realizing that Tommy and Carol are “both assholes” who don’t care about anyone but themselves, that brought Steve to become the characters he’s been since the end of season 1 forward.
let’s think about tommy and carol’s ‘worst’ behaviour:
tommy giving barb a wet willy — kind of behind steve’s back, who’s talking to nancy at the time and busy.
“it’s tuesday…” (carol and tommy mocking nancy about the party) — steve huffs out a laugh, and then goes on to try and reassure nancy.
the “jonathan killed his brother” joke — steve swats tommy and tells him to shut up.
tommy pretending not to know barb — steve tells him not to be an ass and to just answer the question.
carol and tommy sex noises — steve smirks, and kind of jokingly gestures for them to be quiet, but does nothing.
the camera — steve leads the charge (tommy and carol don’t actually do that much here, but i figured i should add it).
the graffiti/confrontation — steve actively goes along with it and helps.
carol calling nancy a slut — steve yells in her face, and tells her to watch her mouth.
(i don’t think i’ve left anything out, but obviously correct me if i’m wrong!!)
i do think steve usually goes along with those jokes a little more, and he’s trying to be on his best behaviour for nancy. but clearly he’s not afraid of standing up to them. he doesn’t dawdle about telling them to stop until nancy pushes him to do it. he just does it.
and more than that, tommy and carol seem to listen. they don’t fight back against steve until their big argument (and even then, tommy only really gets serious after steve shouts in carol’s face).
i think these scenes also give us the chance to see what the dynamic of the group is. which seems to be mainly bitchy jokes made out of earshot of the target of said jokes. and having seen the kind of jokes they make, i wouldn’t really say they regularly go “too far” or bully anyone.
like, as someone that got made fun of in school, i wouldn’t class what we see carol and tommy do on screen as bullying. they’re being twats, and making annoying jokes and loud sex noises. but bullying requires… like, effort. and i don’t think tommy and carol care about other people like that lmao. which is what steve says when he ditches them! that they don’t care about other people. that they’re content being judgmental assholes, but steve isn’t anymore.
steve doesn’t want to be surrounded by mean, petty people that bitch about everyone, and who he feels like he can’t be himself around. but i think most of that behaviour happened within their group, and not towards other people unless it’s a more extreme situation (e.g. confronting nancy about the ‘cheating’).
steve’s a very introspective character, and he has spoken about regretting high school, but those regrets were more that he wasn’t friends with whoever he wanted to be friends with because he was worried tommy would make fun of him, and not that he regrets watching bullying happen and doing nothing. which, by all accounts, steve would regret.
i think most of the groups worst behaviour was directed inwards. mean jokes shared between friends, making someone feel like a bit of an outsider because you’re cracking inside jokes, judging pretty much everyone else for bullshit reasons. the kind of stuff that made steve feel a bit shit every single day, but didn’t actually have that much of a ripple effect on the student body at large.
also, and i recognise this is just me being nitpicky, but i didn’t say that steve would stand up for all victims of bullying, just that i don’t think he’d want to be friends with people that horrifically bullied everyone.

Tumblr media
You sat on the deck of the hut as you watched Levi talking on the phone with his mother for the one-hundredth time since the phones came back. You smiled as he kept talking to her and winked at you. You were happy you were going home soon, but you were stuck in quarantine for a bit. The island was being cleaned up of remaining zombies and the last of the survivors elsewhere were being picked up and sent somewhere safe.
Erwin had explained to the scientists and army who came what had happened here. He let them know every single thing except for the experiments to make more people like Levi and Zero. You and Levi faced facts that it was likely you were changed forever, but the scientists were interested in helping you both. Erwin was glad that nothing bad would happen to you and Levi. He just wanted peace for everyone.
You lifted your head when you heard someone moving closer. You stood up and walked inside the hut to see the scientist who regularly tended to you and Levi. “Hello, Dr Reed.”
Reed smile at you as she held a case with her. “Hello, Mrs Ackerman. How are you today?”
“Well.” You sat down on the sofa. “I am worried about a few things. We’ve been here a long time before you and after. I just…I don’t want to be an experiment and Levi doesn’t want to either.”
“We’ve promised you both that we’ll never hurt you. We want to help cure you both. The virus elsewhere has been cured, but you two are different and the things here have a twisted version of the virus in them. We just want to help you.” She smiled and opened the box. “I have something fun for you!”
“What is that machine?”
She smiled. “Well, you can have your first scan. Want to see your baby?”
You welled up. “Yes! LEVI!”
Levi sprinted into the hut. “Who hurt you!?” He held his breath when he saw your tears. “Who made you cry? I’ll kill them!”
“Levi, I’m okay.” You held your hand out to him. “Come here. Do you want to see our baby?”
He sat next to you with tears in his eyes. “Yes!”
You turned on the sofa and lay back so you used Levi’s lap as your pillow. You dragged your shirt up to reveal your baby bump. “Ready.”
Dr Reed put the gel on your stomach before she ran the sensor over your belly. “All right, let’s find the little one.” She gazed at the screen and grinned. “There they are. I won’t be able to see their sex yet, but they are looking very healthy.”
Levi grabbed your hand and squeezed tightly. “Look at them.”
You welled up and touched the screen. “Baby…”
“They’re so cute and small.”
Dr Reed hummed a laugh. “Actually, they are a bit big for what they’re supposed to be. I guess you’ve been keeping well and it is likely due to your husband’s genes.”
You blushed a little. “Sounds like it.”
She cleaned you up and packed the machine away. “We’ll get a better look at them next month.”
Levi frowned. “Next month?”
She smiled a little. “Because of what you are, Mr Ackerman, we need to keep a close eye on your baby and wife. It’s mainly for their health.”
Levi nodded and helped you sit up on his lap. “I understand.”
She picked up the kit and smiled. “I’ll leave you both alone.”
“Thank you. Oh, do you have an update?”
She walked to the door and paused. “Looking at two more weeks here.”
“Seriously?”
She leaned against the door. “I know, it’s frustrating but we have to make sure that everyone left isn’t infected. It’s looking good for you all and the plant that caused this all? It is being destroyed.”
Levi rose to his feet and approached her. “Can you assure me that they won’t use it in the future?”
“Yes. This zombie outbreak destroyed a whole island in a single day. It’s too powerful to control.”
“Good.” He released a long sigh. “Because I will rip apart anyone who uses it.”
“Mr Ackerman, we’re all well aware of what you can do and honestly? A lot of us fear you. So, if you don’t want this drug getting out and us using the virus, we won’t.”
You hummed a laugh and made Dr Reed jump; she hadn’t noticed you sneaking up on her. “Good, I’m glad we all understand because he’s not alone.”
“I understand.” She bowed to you both. “I will see you both soon.”
You held her hand in both of yours. “Sorry if we scared you, it’s just we’ve spent months here and we’ve seen what these things can do and we almost lost each other.”
Dr Reed smiled. “It’s okay. I know you two are my friend and you’re just worried for others.” She opened your door and waved. “See you soon, you two.”
You waved as she left you and Levi alone. “Bye-bye!” You hummed a little before turning to Levi. “We should check on the others.”
Levi picked you up. “No.”
You squeaked as he kicked the door closed. “Levi.”
“No.”
You pouted. “Leviiiii.”
He carried you to the bedroom. “No.”
You huffed a little. “Come on, Levi.”
He threw you on the bed and admired how you bounced. He crawled up the bed and smiled as you gasped a little. “Worry not, little honeybun. I’m not going to ravage you.”
You frowned. “Then what are you up to?”
He lay between your legs and held your waist. “I want to talk to our baby.”
You played with Levi’s hair. “Talk all you want.”
He kissed your stomach. “Hey, my little muffin, it’s daddy.” He nuzzled your stomach. “I know you’ve been through a crazy time, but we’ll be going home soon and you’ll be safer there. We’ll spoil you so much with love.” He hummed a laugh. “Your mother is the most incredible woman in the world. She has saved me so many times. She’s so kind, strong and incredibly beautiful.”
You blushed a little. “Thank you.”
He leaned up and gazed at you. “I love you.”
“I love you too.”
He kissed your belly again. “Don’t hurt your mummy too much when you arrive, okay?” He released a long sigh. “You know, I can’t wait to meet you. I’m looking forward to holding you and showering you with kisses. I’ll dress you up in all the cute clothes. You’ll have lots of toys. We’ll go on so many adventures. We’ll go swimming, fishing, camping and everything you could dream of.”
You smiled. “Don’t spoil them too much, we don’t want a spoiled brat on our hands.”
Levi pouted a bit. “Just a bit of spoiling.”
“Levi.”
He crawled up your body. “Tiny bit?”
You hummed a laugh. “Tiny bit.” You grabbed your phone and smiled at the messages from your mother and Kuchel, both had been buying baby things for you and Levi. “Speaking of spoiling.” You turned your phone around. “Look at what my mum and yours have sent me in the group chat. They made a baby group chat and filled it with pictures of things they’ve bought.”
Levi took your phone and chuckled. “They look amazing. A lot of bunny-themed things.”
“Well, you do call me bunny and honeybun, so that probably inspired them.”
He locked your phone and kissed you. “Because you’re cute like a bunny.”
You cupped his face. “Two weeks and we’re home.”
“Yeah.”
You flopped back on the bed and hummed. “I know it’s strange to say, but I will miss it here.”
Levi rested his head on your breasts. “I will miss it as well. We’ve been through so much here that it became another home.” He pressed his face into your chest more. “I do really want to go home though and set up the baby room and then go shopping for a house where we can raise our many babies.”
“That sounds like the perfect plan.”
Levi kissed you and sighed through his nose. “I love you.”
You wrapped your arms around him. “I love you too.”
Levi purred a little. “Honeybun?”
You hummed a laugh when Levi started covering your neck and chest in kisses, his semi pressed against you. “Sweetheart? Are you hungry for me?”
Levi moaned against your skin. “I crave you.”
“Then have me.” You smiled at him. “I’ve been desperate for you all day.”
Tumblr media
You sat up in bed and screamed as you were surrounded by zombies biting at your flesh. You kicked and fought as much as you could. You screamed and cried out in pain as you felt the bite on your shoulder over and over again. You pressed your hand on your big baby bump and dove off the bed and slammed onto your side. You tried to crawl away but a zombie crawled onto your back and bit you over and over.
“LEVI! HELP ME!” You reached back and smacked the zombie. “HELP!” You screamed in agony. “MY BABY!” You curled up into a ball to protect your baby. “LEVI!”
Levi woke up at the sound of you trashing around. He sat up and groaned a bit from being pulled from sleep. He looked over at you to see you moving around in bed and then falling out. He shouted your name and dove for you. He grabbed you and shook you, but you were out like a light and you were sweating as you cried and screamed.
Levi cradled you in his arms and rocked you. “Come back to me.” He kissed your forehead. “Come back to me.”
Your eyes flew open as you gasped. You stared up at the dark room and felt tears sting your eyes. You shifted your gaze and looked at your husband. “Levi.”
Levi wiped your tears away. “I’m here. I’m right here.”
You shivered. “They were everywhere. The zombies. They bit me.”
He hugged you tightly. “They’re all gone, my sweet. We’re not on that island anymore. We’re home.” He kissed your temple. “We’re safe.”
You whimpered a bit. “N-No we’re not. We’re back there.”
Levi picked you up and carried you to the wall with ceiling-to-floor windows. He pressed the panel on the wall making the dark colour in them go and allowing you to see the city you lived in together. “Look, we’re home.”
You stared out at the city. “Home…”
“That’s right.”
“But, this could be a dream.”
Levi carried you through the dark penthouse to a room filled with baby things. “You’re safe and at home.” He sat you in the nursing chair and walked over to the drawers with the clothes in. He picked up a onesie and handed it to you. “See?”
You played with the onesie. “Oh…oh…” You welled up. “Home.”
Levi knelt before you. “You are safe.” He placed his hands on your big baby bump. “So is our baby.”
You placed your hand on your belly and smiled. “Yeah…” You looked up at Levi and felt love surge through you. “Levi.”
He smiled and leaned up. “I’m here.”
You slipped off your seat and wrapped your arms around Levi. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be.” He squeezed you. “You’ve helped me through nightmares too.” He released a long sigh. “It doesn’t help that people keep reminding us of the past with people following us around.”
You nuzzled up to Levi. “Mm, I wish they’d go away.”
“Me too.” He sighed. “Want to have some hot chocolate and watch some movies?”
You nodded. “Yes. Oh, I need help getting up.”
Levi put his hand under your armpits and lifted you and placed you on your feet. “There you go.”
“Thank you.”
He held your hand and pulled you along to the bedroom. “Sit and I’ll make the hot chocolate.” He handed you the remote. “Put something fun on.”
You squeezed the remote. “Umm…”
He kissed your temple. “I’ll put a light on for you.”
You blushed a bit. “Mm…thank you.”
Levi flicked on the bedroom light. “It’s safe.”
You nodded as you looked around. “Yes.”
“I’ll be in the kitchen.”
You waved to him. “Okay. Love you.”
Levi winked at you. “Love you too.”
You giggled as he walked away. You slipped out of bed and raided the walk-in closet. You swapped your dress for a shirt of Levi’s and paused a moment when you caught your reflection in the mirror. You pouted when you saw your seven-month belly stretching Levi’s shirt. You shifted out of the closet and climbed back into bed. You browsed the few apps you had and found a fun movie both you and Levi loved and never failed to make you laugh together.
Levi returned to you with a tray. “I’m back. Did you pick something good?”
You nodded. “I picked one we love laughing at.”
He sat on his side of the bed and placed the tray down. He kissed your neck a few times before he noticed what you were wearing. “That my shirt?”
“Yeah.”
“It looks delicious on you. I could just eat you up.”
You pouted a little. “I’ve stretched it though.”
He frowned at your words. “You have? How?”
You pulled at the top. “Baby belly.”
He stared at how the shirt stretched over the baby bump. “Cute.”
“It’s not cute.”
“It is.” He pulled you close and held you. “I love it.”
“But it’ll forever be stretched.”
He grabbed your hot chocolate for you. “I like that because when I look at it in the future I’ll forever be reminded of you being pregnant.”
You sipped your drink and hummed in delight. “You’re so sweet to me.”
He kissed your cheek. “I’m just madly in love with you.”
“Me too.”
Levi placed his hand on your belly as you watched TV. He smiled as he felt his daughter move against his hand. He couldn’t believe he’d be meeting his precious daughter in two months. He was so happy and excited to be home with you. He hugged you tightly as he felt joy and happiness consume him about being with you and soon being a father. He kissed and nipped your neck and then nuzzled against you.
You changed to the normal TV and saw the news talking about you and Levi, yet again. You sighed and felt tired but then they mentioned the Island and how they were going to bring life back into it and make it a holiday place and a large part a memorial site for those who passed away. You fought tears when you saw a long list of names on the screen of those who died on the Island.
Levi kissed the side of your head. “I’m glad they’re going to do something with the Island.”
“Me too. Sadly, a lot of people died there, but I am glad that they’re not going to lock up the Island and throw away the key.” You put your cup down and sighed. “I have to remember what our therapist said, it’s okay we survived.”
“You’re right.”
You yawned. “I think I’m okay now.”
Levi shifted on the bed and held you against him as he lay down. “I’ll be right here all night long, okay?”
You smiled and snuggled closer. “Yes, Levi. Thank you.”
Levi played with your hair and smiled a little as he felt you drift off. He fell asleep not long after you. He woke up early and saw you had a gentle smile on your face as you slept, meaning you were having a nice dream. He gave you a loving kiss on the cheek before he went about his special day. He made sure the home was clean before he put up the cute decorations for the little party he had planned for you.
He hurried to the door when he heard the bell. He opened it and smiled at Erwin and Kate. “Hey both, good to see you.”
Kate lifted a box. “We brought lots of food.”
Erwin lifted a bag. “And gifts.”
Levi blushed a little. “Oh, you didn’t need to, but thank you.”
Kate slipped her shoes off and hurried inside. “I’ll help you set everything up as well.”
Erwin winked. “I’ll greet the guests. You go wake up your wife.”
Levi blushed hard as he thought about you. He loved that you were his wife. You were his world and he was so lucky to be married to you. He moved into the bedroom and just felt himself swell with love as he looked you over in bed. He released a long sigh and moved closer to you. He sat on the bed and played with your hair as he admired you. He leaned closer and covered your face in kisses.
You hummed a laugh as you woke up. “Morning Levi.”
“Good morning.”
You sat up and sighed. “Thank you for last night.”
“No need to thank me, okay? I’ll do anything for you, you know that.”
“I do.”
He got off the bed and picked a cute dress for you and some comfy underwear. “We have a fun day today.”
You got out of bed and hummed a laugh. “You been plotting things?”
“I have.”
You giggled as he helped you change. “Exciting.” You smiled as Levi helped you change. “I can change on my own.”
He shook his head. “No, I’m helping.”
“Thanks.”
He wiggled your dress on before kissing you. “Perfection.”
You hummed a laugh. “Thank you.”
He sat you down and started combing your hair. “You look wonderful.”
“I look tired, but I appreciate the kind words.”
He helped you stand and held you. “You look more beautiful than you realise.”
You squeezed Levi back. “Thank you. You’re so incredibly handsome.”
He whined. “Thanks.”
You put your slippers on. “So, are we going out?”
Levi held your hand and pulled you along. “That’d be telling.”
You pouted. “Levi.”
He said your name back at you with a little smirk. “Patience.” He pushed you along. “Trust me, okay? You’re going to love this.”
You let out a long sigh. “Uh-huh.” You stepped into the living room and flinched when everyone shouted surprise. “What in the world?”
Kate hugged you. “Levi put this together. It’s like a wedding redo again and a baby celebration!”
You laughed and looked over at Levi. “This is…thank you.”
Levi pulled you close. “We didn’t get much to celebrate in those months there, so I thought we’d get some sense of normal again.”
“It’s amazing. Thank you so much.”
Your mother tackled you into a hug. “I can’t believe how wonderful this is. I’m so glad we’re all together again. Levi is so amazing to plan this.”
Levi blushed. “Thanks.”
Kuchel flapped her arms. “BABY!”
Sebastian pulled her back. “Calm down.” He chuckled at his wife’s pleading look. “I know you’re excited, but a bit at a time, okay? They’re recovering.”
You opened your arms to Kuchel. “Hug?”
Kuchel hugged you tightly. “I’m so happy for you both.” She kissed your cheek. “Let’s not dwell on the past and look forward to what’s going to happen.”
You hummed a laugh. “Yes. We’d love that.”
Tumblr media
You looked back at your precious daughter Daisy in the back of Levi’s car. She was a perfect bundle of joy at five months old. You smiled at her making her squeal in delight and reach for you. “In a bit, my little flower. Daddy has to drive us to the wedding.”
Levi looked up in the mirror. “Few more minutes, okay?”
You turned and looked ahead and sighed. “I can’t believe it. I’m so excited.”
Levi chuckled. “Me too. I’ll keep Erwin calm.”
“I’ll make sure Kate is not having a little panic attack as well. I know Daisy will lighten her day.”
Levi pouted. “I want Daisy to be with me.”
You hummed a laugh. “We’ve talked about this. I’ll have her first and then you come around and take Daisy for a bit.”
He let out a long sigh. “Yeah.” He pulled up into the parking space and sighed. “Let’s do this.”
You gulped hard. “It’ll be safe, right?”
Levi held your hand. “Yeah, it’ll be okay. This wedding will go perfectly.”
You did a few breathing exercises with Levi before getting out of his car. You opened the back door and helped your daughter out. You held her against you and smiled as she clung tightly to your dress and her bunny toy. “You ready to see your auntie and uncle today?”
Daisy gazed at you before she laughed a little. “Aboo! Ba, ba, ba!”
Levi kissed Daisy’s head. “I think she is ready to go.”
You hummed a laugh and carried her inside as Levi grabbed her bag of things. “I can imagine Kate and Erwin are worrying about the same things we are.”
Levi hummed. “You’re right, but the virus has been dealt with.”
You squeezed your daughter. “Yeah.”
Levi stopped with you in the hall. “It’s going to be okay. We’ll have a wonderful time and it’ll be a cute wedding.” He kissed you and smiled. “Have fun with Kate.”
“Have fun with Erwin.”
“Yes, my love.”
You ran down the hall with Daisy giggling away. You opened the bridal door and smiled at Kate in her wedding dress with your mother helping. “Hello. I’ve brought our expert.”
Kate gasped. “Baby!”
You stepped inside and handed Daisy over. “She’ll help you out.”
Kate cuddled your daughter. “She’s the best. I feel at peace now, thank you.”
You helped Kate with her hair once she sat with your daughter. “How are you feeling?”
“Nervous.”
“Erwin will be there.”
She let out a long sigh. “I know that…it’s the whole…”
“Zombies.”
She hummed a bit. “Yeah.”
You sat in front of her and smiled. “We’re safe. They won’t come here. No more zombies, okay?”
She bounced Daisy on her lap. “Except for this one here.”
You giggled. “Yeah. The doctor said she’s developing incredibly. There are no signs of infection. She is a bit stronger than other kids.”
“What have the doctors said about you?”
“I’m like Levi and Daisy, we’re different and we’ll always be like this. They have tried hard for a cure, but because it’s changed our DNA they think it is impossible.”
Kate held your hand. “I’m sorry.”
You shrugged. “It’s okay. I’m happy that all my children will be stronger.”
She hummed a laugh and kissed your daughter’s puffy cheek. “And cute as hell. My God Daisy is so beautiful. She has this glow about her.”
You took Daisy off Kate and showered her face in kisses making her giggle. “She’s my precious flower.” You looked over at the door and smiled at Levi as he snuck it. “Hey, is Erwin okay?”
Levi nodded. “He’s doing great. He does want baby time though.”
You carried Daisy to Levi. “Here she is.”
Levi held his daughter close and kissed you. “I’ll see you in a bit.”
You winked at him. “Sure thing, sugar.”
“Love you.”
“Love you too.” You waved to Daisy. “Bye-bye little flower, I love you.”
Levi carried Daisy down the hall to Erwin’s room. “I have the little flower.”
Erwin opened his arms. “Daisy!”
Levi handed his daughter over to his friend. “Feel better now?”
Erwin cuddled Daisy. “I feel incredible. She’s so cute and perfect.”
Daisy looked up at Erwin and squealed with laughter. She reached up and patted his face. “Mm, ba, ba, boo.”
Erwin kissed her cheek. “So cute. I can’t wait to have kids with Kate. We’ve talked about it and our first one will be Lilly.”
Levi smiled. “It’s a cute name. Two little flowers.”
Erwin chuckled. “I hope they’ll be good friends.”
“I know they will.” He looked at his watch. “We should get going.”
“Can I hold Daisy the whole time?”
Levi walked with Erwin. “Of course, but it might make Kate broody.”
Erwin looked at Daisy. “Well, you need a friend, right?”
Levi laughed. “I’m supposed to work on a friend for her.”
“You want an army of kids.”
Levi shrugged. “Possibly. If my wife is okay with it, she has to carry them to term and give birth to them.” He let out a long sigh. “She’s an incredible woman.”
Erwin chuckles. “She is.” He smiled at Daisy. “Your mummy is amazing.” He walked past his friends getting their seats and stood by Levi and waited for Kate. “I am still a little nervous.”
“I think everyone who was with us on that Island is. I haven’t seen anyone acting weird.”
Erwin squeezed Daisy. “I haven’t either.” His eyes widened when he saw Kate. “Like a goddess.”
Kate blushed hard. “Oh god, he looks so handsome with a baby.”
You giggled. “Right?! Just imagine what your baby together would look like.”
“So beautiful.”
You walked with her and took her flowers. “You two are cute.”
Levi took Daisy from Erwin. “Perfect couple.”
You smiled in pride as your friends got married and shared a passionate kiss. You moved together to the eating area and watched Levi feed his daughter. You laughed as she made a bit of a mess and got very excited each time the spoon was presented to her. You pulled your gaze away from your daughter and watched your two friends share a romantic dance.
You released a sigh. “I’m glad everything went well.”
Levi hummed a laugh. “Me too.”
You cleaned Daisy’s little face. “Shall we dance?”
“Yes please.” He stood up and held Daisy with one arm as he put his other around you and began slowly dancing. “So, I’m thinking for our tenth anniversary we go do another zombie infection island and do some fun survival stuff.”
You laughed. “Good joke.”
Levi laughed. “Thanks. Never again though. We’ll stick to video games.”
You nodded. “Damn straight.”
“Oh, looks like we have a sleepy girl.”
You felt your heart swell when you saw your daughter clinging to Levi as she fell asleep. “Adorable. Let’s get her home.”
Levi smiled. “I think a family naptime is needed.”

Welcome home baby (Jake Seresin)
Tumblr media
Summary: Your boyfriend Jake "Hangmam" Seresin is coming home after a long mission, but as excited as you are to see him you're nervous too - you've got a secret to share. (1,900 words)
Author notes: Thank you so much for reading - I'm still finding my feet with this and getting the confidence to post regularly/ break through the writer's block, so any comments, likes or shares would be hugely well received. And what can I say, this man is inspiring a loooot of thoughts in me!
Warnings: Some serious fluff, angst, hints of sex although nothing direct.
Welcome home baby
The phone woke you before the alarm and you rolled over, silently cursing yourself for keeping it in the bedroom. Usually it would be downstairs or at least on silent mode, but there were times when you wanted it close - needed to know you could be reached, just in case something went wrong on assignment.
As your eyes came to focus on the screen and the first line of his message popped up in front of you, you knew that wasn’t the case this time.
Goooood morning beautiful. This is your pilot speaking. We’re all prepped for take off, the weather is good and in less than eight hours I’ll be back in our house.
You grinned, glad no one else was around to see just how goofy you looked as you began to type a reply, only to see those three dancing dots looking back at you.
Back in our bed.
The second message inspired a laugh, rough with the edge of sleep. And again, the dots moved.
Back in you.
This time the text was swiftly followed by a selfie, Jake strapped into a helicopter wearing standard issue green overalls and the cocky smile that told you exactly what he was thinking about as he prepared to head home.
Usually you liked to tease a little - the back and forth between the two of you had been part of the fun since day one. But this mission had been a long one and you had damned good reason to want him home. Plus, with your brain still addled from sleep it was hard to be anything but honest.
God I’ve missed that face.
And funny you should mention the bed, I’m in there right now.
The dots returned again.
Maybe you should stay there all day, wait for me?
You chuckled quietly, a familiar heat rising in your core as you placed a hand to your middle.
It’s no fun without you here, the bed’s too big and I’m too lonely.
That sounds tough sweetheart, maybe you should send me a photo - it’ll be like I’m there with you…
Again a laugh, knowing exactly the kind of photo he meant and determining that wasn’t a good idea this morning.
We both know those photos are only when you’re alone. And I’m guessing right now you’re not.
Instead you snapped a quick selfie as you were - hair mussed, eyes still heavy lidded, and straps of your tank top visible over the blankets.
This will have to do!
There was a brief pause while you imagined him opening the photo, probably even zooming in a little to the bottom part just to see if there was any sign of your cleavage over the top of the blanket.
God you’re beautiful. I can’t get back to you quick enough baby. Need to put the phone away now but start the countdown - I’m on my way.
As he went offline, you looked again at his photo, marvelling - as you so often did - that such an incredible man was yours.
As if those knowing green eyes, sharp jawline and deliciously smart mouth had found their way to you; and as if the highly decorated fighter pilot who spent half of his life on top secret missions around the world has somehow decided that home life with you was just as good a fit for him.
Not that he ever let you believe you were the only one who had struck lucky. If there was one place that Hangman parked his trademark arrogance, it was when he was complimenting you. Marvelling at how lucky he was every time your smile lit up his field of vision, and asking over and over as he watched you work just how someone like you had ever agreed to start a life with someone like him?
And from today onwards, that life together would never be quite the same again. A new chapter was about to begin, even if your boyfriend didn’t even know it yet.
You shook your head, grinning despite yourself at his goofiness as you climbed out of bed, leaving Jet - the black Labrador he’d bought to keep you company while you were home alone - snoozing on the bed as you prepared to start your day.
Jake’s homecoming days were always strange ones when you’d learned to plan little. There was no telling exactly when he would be home, leaving an anxious pit in your stomach until the moment he walked through the door.
On days like today that anxiety was tempered with the knowledge that he was coming home; something you knew only too well wasn’t always guaranteed for even the best pilot in the navy. Nonetheless, you’d begun a ritual of wearing one of his shirts on those days - a lucky charm that helped you feel close to him until you could start to expect him.
Today it was an old Dallas Cowboys shirt - worn and comfy enough to soothe your off-kilter nervous system, and big enough to fall past the hem of your shorts as you and the dog pottered around the house, working on some admin you knew would stop your mind wandering into worry and your eyes to the clock more than once every ten minutes as you wondered how tonight’s reunion would go, the faintest patter of uncertainty tempering your excitement to come back together.
With a couple of hours left until Jake’s ETA, you wrapped work for the day and headed out into the garden to weed the flower beds you’d both planted together, determined to ground yourself and prevent your nerves getting the better of you.
With the sun on your back, your hands in the earth, and Spotify playing from your phone, it was all too easy to lose track of time, meaning that when Jet began to bark joyfully, you put it down to excitement over the neighbours’ kids playing and hushed him without a glance.
“Well well well, isn’t this a sight for sore eyes?”
His voice was like honey, and had you dropping the tools you were using with a start. Slowly you turned and saw him standing before you - every inch the handsome navy man - with one hand on the head of the joyous dog who danced at his feet.
As you stood, he dropped his rucksack and strode towards you, putting his hands on your hips and lifting you so that your legs wrapped around him while he kissed you deeply with a slow heat that was both sexy and soothing all in one.
When you finally came up for air he pressed his forehead against yours and gazed into your eyes. “Missed you baby,”he said gruffly.
“Missed you too,” you murmured, moving to rub your head against his neck like a cat.
You stayed like that for a while, simply relishing being able to touch one another and breathe the same air, before he moved his face back to grin at you and shifted your weight to lift a hand to your shirt.
“And a cowboys shirt? Really darlin’? I’ll remind you of this next time you complain about the game being on.”
You swatted his chest playfully and smiled. “It’s not the Cowboys doofus, it’s you. It smells like you.”
He smiled and pressed a kiss to your lips. “And now it’ll smell like you.”
“Now,” he shifted you back up again. “This has been a long mission and there’s something we really need to do before I even think about unpacking. So what if we head inside and-.”
“Jake, just, wait.” You out a hand on his chest, your heart beginning to pound as you realised this was the moment. “We need to stay here for a while.”
He raised an eyebrow and reminded you all too keenly of the arrogant airman who’d first charmed you into a date. “Oh you don’t want to go inside? I mean, that’s cool with me although I don’t know how the neighbours will feel about you screaming my name-.”
The statement was meant to make you laugh, but it just led you to chew your lip harder as you wondered what to say.
“Baby what’s going on, is something wrong?” He pulled you tighter into him, his face smoothing into a worried frown as you shook your head and looked downwards
“No. Well I, I don’t think so.” You took a deep breath and lifted your chin to meet his eyes with yours.
“Jake, I’m pregnant.”
The green eyes widened and the jaw dropped for just a second - the famous Hangman caught off-guard for just long enough to make you worry.
“I know it’s a surprise. Know we’d planned to wait, to get married first.” The words spilled out of you as you lowered your eyes again, “I found out two days after you left. Couldn’t call, didn’t want to tell you by text. So I just waited. Thought that would be best.”
When you looked to him again, you realised his expression now was one of concern. “You’ve been holding this all by yourself?”
You nodded, tears pricking at the corners of your eyes as you suddenly realised how tough that had been.
“It’s been six weeks y/n.”
The tears spilled now, “I know. And I should’ve told you, I’m sorry. We should’ve talked about it.”
“Whoah whoah whoah.” He set you down now and put his hands on your shoulders as he crouched to meet your eyes.
“I’m just worried. You, pregnant and home alone,” Jet barked as though understanding and Jake shot him a quick smile. “Almost home alone. I only wish I’d known so I could’ve made sure you were ok.”
You gazed back at him, bottom lip quivering, “you’re not angry?”
Jake let out a long, slow breath and wiped the tears from your face. “Angry? Hell no.” His voice was soft now, maybe softer than you’d ever heard it as he moved one hand down to your lower abdomen. “You’re having my baby y/n. This is, incredible.”
He gazed down for a moment, marvelling at what was going on inside you and you could’ve sworn you saw the hint of tears in his own eyes, giving the knot of anxiety within you all it needed to dissipate after six long weeks without him.
Full of love, you put a hand to his face, pulling it up to meet you for another kiss filled with everything you couldn’t put into words. He kissed you back, his mouth earnest in a way you’d never felt from him before but gentle, as though afraid you were going to break beneath him, and caused you to laugh.
“I’m pregnant Jake, not fragile.”
Pulling back, he looked down at you through heavy lidded eyes. “I know, but… Are you feeling ok?”
You nodded. “A little tired at times, but I’m good, honestly.” You smiled. “I’m having your baby.”
And with that his face broke into its usual grin, he scooped up his rucksack in one hand and let out a whoop before hoisting you up in his other arm and walking back toward the house, Jet running joyfully beside him.
“You sure are babe, and we need to celebrate.” He paused for a moment and looked down at you, Hangman grin in place again. “And darlin’? I’m gonna need you to keep that Cowboys shirt on.”

nobody really talks about how hard it is trying to integrate into a rp universe on tumblr where everyone else already knows each other and has formed found families and dynamics and regularly rp with one another.
even if they welcome you and invite you you feel awkward. shoehorned in but sticking out
you spectate them silently having fun together and weaving great big story arcs and hosting events and you want to have fun too. you want to share that with them. but you’re not sure how to jump in. You’re not sure if it would be rude or weird, or how to ask. you’re not sure whether or not they give you weird looks behind the screen or talk about you in places you can’t see. you feel like they do.
you just spectate
sometimes you get over it and reach out and start rps and it’s fun for a while, but it always pales in comparison to what they’ve built with others. and you don’t know how to move toward having that too. seems like you’re never gonna have that.
and when you think you’ve somewhat integrated, that people know you and you did a good job at “becoming part of the group,” you see that group doing something big without you in your feed and it’s like oh. okay. but you can’t fault them for that, they’re not bad for that, they’re not trying to exclude you, you understand. you just thought maybe you were far enough in to be one of them now? for them to have thought of you and said hey, they can join!
you just. watch everyone else have fun. and you feel lonely.
or is that just me? it the reason nobody talks about this because it just comes easy for everyone else? and this is just me? it feels like it’s just me and I feel lonely.

Things I like RP partners to know
Tumblr media
I like to be called: Mimi, if you want to use my character's name. But I know it might get weird to differentiate between the player and the character. And I am definitely neither my character nor a tsundere. ;) So you can call me by my other nickname as well I am mostly known for at other places - Jama or Jamapi. Yes, that's from "Wedding Peach". Don't judge me, my guilty pleasure is the magical girl genre and "Wedding Peach" was simply hilarious! Pronouns: they/them.
Tumblr media
One thing you should know about me (or several):
The following is at the same time a condensed and expanded version of my carrd's ooc sections. If you want to know more, you can look at my >carrd<.
I am 21+ and I belong to the older demographic here, as I started roleplaying with D&D back in the days in the 80s and have been doing a lot of roleplaying since then - tabletop, collaborative storytelling, play-by-mail, LARP. You name it, I did it. Mimi has been a grumpy little menace on Balmung in FF14 since ARR. I have a fulltime and very stressful job as a professional writer in my native language. Thus, playing the game is my feel-good place to recharge my energy batteries, while relaxing with a nice cup of coffee. So I like my and your time there being as stressfree and most fun as possible. I am happily married and outside of RP I am not looking for anything more than friendship. My characters have their own agenda, of course. But I am just here to have fun playing the game, write some cool stuff together with you and laugh and watch our goofballs on the screen act the way they do. Our own little tv show of ensuing hilarity.
I like to describe my preferred RP with tv shows: Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Dawson’s Creek, Babylon 5, Fringe. Also, I have a soft spot for horror themes, especially when spiced up with cosmic horror. So if you are doing that? Count me in! But let me be clear: To me it is not about the tentacles, but the philosophical/intellectual stuff. World views being shattered, nihilism hitting characters hard, existentialism with moral dilemmas. That is the good stuff to me! Nothing wrong with cosmic/void entitites, of course, but please no anime weirdness here. I probably do not have to spell it out, what I mean by that, right? That is not, what I enjoy cosmic horror for. So even though I love cosmic horror, do not assume I am here for that. Because that is a big no-go for me.
Aside from that, let's talk about talking: I am not shy, I am an introvert (>example<). I do not enjoy small talk and this has nothing to do with you. If I play with you I like you! And there will be even other times, when I will not stop talking to you. My walls of texts are infamous - you see them regularly here on tumblr. But please try to avoid an OOC conversation starter with: “How are you doing?” I never know how to answer that and struggle with that. Honestly, I often sit 5-10 minutes on an answer to that question and my brain simply shows a big "cannot compute" message. If there is something you want to discuss, sure thing, shoot. I can talk for hours and hours about specific topics, meaningful stuff and so on. Once I get lose on something we both are interested in there is no stopping for me. But just talking on a superficial level simply to connect with people? I would love to be able to do that, but I fail at that so hard and am just a big goofball of awkwardness in those cases. So I appreciate getting straight to the point. By the way: IC small talk is a completely different thing for me. Yes, I am weird like that.
Tumblr media
One (or several) thing(s) you should know about my characters:
Mimi is not an easy character to get along with. I know that. Many people seem to prefer "feel good" rp - and Mimi is probably the opposite of that. And even though I won't say there will never be any "good vibes" rp with Mimi, it will take time and is very situational. The good times do not come easily with this woman. Personally, I prefer conflict and well paced character drama. As much as I adore slice-of-life rp I am not here to "play house" and find that utterly boring. I am here for interesting, gripping character dynamics, for tense situations, for unexpected twists and turns, for character development. I am here for the heart break, angst and the slow burn. Give me edges on other characters, let me to throw my characters against those edges and see what happens.
Even if at some point the "deredere" part of Mimi appears, don't expect this to be everytime. I need the conflict. I need IC problems in roleplay. That's the reason why I love to play tsundere. They make things complicated. They create conflicts by their very nature. As much as I love ooc harmony outside of rp, within any rp situation I crave for well-written conflicts. That does not always have to be a fight. This can also just be a discussion. Or simply different opinions or backgrounds. Sure, sometimes there is not a good angle to create a conflict or disagreement. Well, then it is as it is and this can happen - and that is fine! But I struggle with those situations and will probably try to spice up the situation and make it unpredictable. I want to be surprised. Conflicts are the best way to get there. At least in my experience. To some people this might seem forced and they get annoyed by that. I understand that. But that is just the way I am. I do not want to annoy you by that. I want us both to have fun and something to play with in rp. That is, why I incite problems and conflict. Because if there is nothing to say, then there is no dynamic to the scene.
I know this is not everybody's cup of tea and I don't judge the rp of others. But harmony based rp simply is not my thing and I avoid it, when rp is only "lovey-dovey", rainbows and sunshine. I won't keep people from doing that, but I don't have any interest in it and will stay away from it - for the sake of your fun and mine as well. I do not want to spoil anybody's fun. If you have fun with that? You do you! And please don't get me wrong: It is no problem if there are "nice moments". On the contrary, I love those moments as well! But they have more impact to me if they do not appear regularly, because I am looking for: meaningful moments. Something that will stick to my mind as funny or interesting or tragic or sad or tense. Something that intrigues me like a thrilling tv episode and a gripping cliffhanger in a book or movie. So I like to be really clear about, why I play a quarrelsome character like Mimi: She is not someone to be "solved" or "rescued". She is the way she is, because I need conflict rp to get my creativity going. That is my rp fuel.
To sum it up: My characters are going to do stupid things. They are going to be douchebags. And they are more often wrong than not. I am not my character so if they insult or provoke your character that is part of the RP - not me being mean to you as a player. If I do not feel comfortable with a player on an OOC level I rather avoid playing with them altogether. If my character picks a fight with your character, it means I trust you as a player, and I like you and your character. After all I am offering you my favorite RP, as I adore IC banter and conflict If character play leads to a plot, no problem with that. But do not expect me to play according to any script. My preferred RP develops out of character dynamics. For me plot is a stage for character interactions. Not vice versa.
Tumblr media
First language: German. As you might have noticed, I am a non native speaker. So, sorry for any language weirdness or if my answers take longer. I try my best and I think my English is not too bad, but I struggle from time to time. Roleplaying in something different to your first language is a different kind of beast and many things I am proud of in my use of German I fail at in English. And this paragraph is probably one of the best examples of that!

The 20th Anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera (2004)
The Phantom of the Opera (2004) has been — and continues to be — one of my favorite childhood movies. It was so influential in my life, in fact, that my entire family experienced a collective phase where we loved and learned the songs and rewatched it regularly. If you can believe it, I was only seven years old when I saw this movie for the first time, and I still hum songs like Angel of Music to myself. Unfortunately, I did not have the privilege of seeing the stage show before its permanent closure, and the film is the only adaptation we have to immortalize it.
Tumblr media
Pros:
* Purists do not give this film enough credit that it is a faithful adaptation of the stage show. How easily this version could have been ruined by filmmakers who didn’t care about the source material
* Despite purists constantly complaining about Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum’s performances, Rossum is still a beautiful singer whose fragile and vulnerable vocals work better in a cinematic context than opera singers like Sierra Boggess’s would have. Likewise, Butler’s portrayal of the phantom is decent. He brings a menacing, intimidating presence to the character — particularly when he is shown through silhouettes or no dialogue
* The music, of course, is wonderful and iconic
* The movie adaptation was my first introduction to a non-Disney musical. It made a huge impact on my childhood and I continue to love the film and its soundtrack to this day
* Some of the sets and costumes are extravagant and pleasing to the eye
* Movie adaptations of musicals generally incentivize audiences to appreciate theater by watching “stage shows” in a different medium. I definitely would not have watched The Phantom of the Opera in its original format
* As other critics have pointed out, the movie fixes the logical problems from the original version
* The actors who play Andre and Firmin share adorable chemistry and are a great comedic duo with fun interactions throughout the movie
Cons:
* This movie has one single big problem: the filmmaking is not especially strong. (Disclaimer: I am mostly referencing other critics with this statement and am not qualified to speak on the matter). The reveal of Phantom-related narrative beats are much less potent because of underwhelming makeup and camerawork; the tone and aesthetic are a bit confused and fail to commit to either a dreamlike setting or gritty realism; the staging in many scenes is often far too crowded by flowers, candles, etc.; and the cinematography tends to wash out the film
Verdict: A more effective adaptation from stage to screen would certainly have benefited the film version of The Phantom of the Opera. Thankfully, the technical ineptitudes of the 2004 iteration do not bother me much. I can’t deny the nostalgic appreciation I have for this movie and I will forever love it for introducing me to a musical I loved as a child and still love as an adult. I still recommend seeing the stage version (if you can anymore), but the film is not a horrible way to learn of the most successful musical of all time.
As an aside, now that it has been two decades since the premiere of this film, I can’t help but wonder what a better, updated retelling of this story would look like. Perhaps we’ll find the answers to such a query sooner than we think…

Lover Like Me pt 4 | Feysand
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 ** Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8 Part 9 Part 10 Part 11 Part 12 Part 13 Part 14 Happy pride month angels!!
“So, who are these beach people again?”
I’m lying on Rhys’s couch with my head in Mor’s lap, while Azriel’s in a beanbag and Cassian is sprawled out on the floor. Tonight we’re watching Beauty and the Beast, the remake.
I wasn’t sure if Rhys’s friends actually liked me, at first. Mor was always really nice, but Azriel is quiet and Cassian is… a lot sometimes. Since hanging out with them at the beach though, I feel less intimidated by them. Cassian seems to be impressed that I let him try to teach me to surf because he keeps joking that I’m no chicken.
“Cass I just saw a rat in my kitchen, come kill it for me,” Mor had said the other day.
“I’m not home,” Cass told her over the phone. “Ask Feyre, she’s got girl balls.”
Mor just told him that ovaries were a lot hardier than testicles, and then hung up.
Then the next time they had a movie night, apparently Azriel asked if I was coming. I don’t know why, him I’m still figuring out but all I know is Rhys knocked at my door and dragged me out. We ate pizza and watched The Legend of Tarzan, Cassian and Rhys talking the whole time about how impressive Alexander Skaarsgard is while Mor and I agreed that Margot Robbie is the most beautiful actress. “What’s going on here?” Az had asked. “I feel like the target audiences have swapped.”
“I’m gay, dipshit,” Mor said, and Cassian argued that any man comfortable with his masculinity should be able to admit that Skaarsgard is a gorgeous guy.
I started going more regularly after that, and now it’s part of my weekly routine.
“Tarquin, Cresseida, and Hellion.” Rhys has returned from the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn and the answer to my question. I move to get my legs out of his seat, but he just drags them back across his lap and starts eating popcorn like we do this all the time. A warm feeling flares in my chest.
“They’re super lovely,” Mor tells me. “You’ll like them. They’re all related but I can’t remember how, big family and lots of cousins, or something. We see them a few times a year, usually at their place but occasionally they’ll come into the city and visit us.”
They were supposed to come around a few weeks ago but cancelled, and I had forgotten about it. I'm finally feeling comfortable in this group and I'm not sure I'm ready for more people.
“And what are you guys doing this time?”
“We are having a barbeque. You’re coming.”
I frown. “But I don’t like new people.”
“You’ll like these ones,” Mor cajoles. “Besides, you have to come, I’m not giving you an option.”
“Rhys?” I look to him pleadingly.
“Hey don’t look at him, look at me." Mor tugs me back. "It’ll be fun.”
“If you’re not having a good time I’ll call you from the bathroom and fake a work emergency,” Rhys says. This does make me feel better.
“Why would an art store have an emergency?” Mor asks. Rhys shrugs.
“Burglars came in, unwrapped all the clay and if they don’t have all hands on deck it’ll just be bricks.”
“Why would burglars break in just to open packaging and then leave?”
“So that they owners don’t have time to call the police as they make a getaway with the cash.”
“You’re an idiot.”
“Watch the movie, Mor.”
“Do we exclusively watch Disney remakes?” I ask.
“Pretty much,” Cassian supplies, and reaches back to take a huge handful of popcorn. His wrist presses against my ankle, and I find that I like the way they're all so casual with their touches.
“They’re all terrible,” Azriel says, but makes no move to shift his attention from the screen.
The day of the barbecue I am helping to skewer vegetables in Rhys’s kitchen when they arrive. A car horn beeps a few times in an upbeat rhythm and then I’m outside with everyone else, watching a beautiful Black man step out of a beautiful car. The other two with him are also crazy attractive, in that way that everyone who lives on the beach seems to automatically be attractive. The driver is now hugging everyone and I hear him introduced as Tarquin, he’s in a white t-shirt and a turquoise coloured blazer that I am convinced no one else could pull off. He kisses both my cheeks when we’re introduced, and then it’s Cresseida (“Cress, please, no one calls me by my full name”) in a gauzy and expensive looking summer dress and Helion, who wears a Hawaiian shirt and gold eyeliner. The latter is the most affectionate with everyone, and even smacks Mor on the backside as they file into the compound. Mor giggles and then hops on his back, and I trail after them all wondering how I’m going to fit in among what suddenly seems like seven extra-large personalities.
I end up sitting on the corner of the table, with Tarquin on my left and Rhys on my right at the end. On his other side is Cress, who is opposite me. Helion and Mor have their heads bent together down the other end of the table, and Cassian and Azriel are eating enough for a small army. We’re set up in the courtyard in the middle of the apartment complex, surrounded by rows of white doors, and using the communal barbecue. Rhys gave it an especially good clean the day before because Cassian told him he saw someone cooking not food on it the other week. I didn’t ask.
“So Feyre, I hear you’re quite the artist,” Tarquin says to me. His neon blazer is hanging on the back of his chair, his sunglasses are on his head and his white t-shirt may as well have been sprayed on.
“Just a hobby,” I say, even though actually I used to hate it when Tamlin said that.
"Don't listen to her," Rhys says. "She's incredible, I've already commissioned a piece." His knee knocks against mine under the table.
“Ooh are you on insta?” Cress leans forward, and swipes Rhys’s phone off the table. “I’ll find you on Rhys’s account.” It does not escape my notice that she knows Rhys’s passcode, and while she scrolls through his phone I sip my water and study the perfect curl of her hair. I recall the conversation at the beach, where Rhys never did clarify who it was in this group that he had dated.
She finds me easily enough and the phone is passed around with enough appreciate oohs and ahs that I fidget and blush. Painters aren’t like performers, we don't know how to react to praise.
“You know,” Tarquin says, “I have a small gallery in Adriata. You should come check it out some time. Your style would fit right in there.”
Gods how much money do these people have?
“That sounds nice,” I say non-comittally.
“Seriously,” he says. "I'm doing a whole new show next month and one of my artists just dropped out. I've got an opening.”
“I mean I don’t think my stuff is gallery worthy…”
“Feyre that’s a great idea," Rhys chimes in. "I don’t know why I didn’t think of it earlier.”
“I think so too,” Cress chimes in. She puts a hand on Rhys’s arm. “It’d give you all a reason to come visit us more often.”
“No rush to decide,” Tarquin says, and while he’s talking, Cress starts whispering in Rhys’s ear. “But it’d be worth coming down to have a look. Get a feel for the space. And then you could send me some photos of anything you’d have ready.”
“Well that… that would be amazing,” I stutter. Tarquin’s got my Instagram up on his own phone now. I'm torn between feeling deeply uncomfortable with the attention, not to mention what feels like I'm getting something entirely without earning it, and of course tentative excitement at what would be... a dream. An absolute dream.
“I’ll ‘like’ a few of the ones I think would be a great fit, so you get an idea,” he says. Then he puts his phone down. “But enough business. We can continue this later.” He winks and to be honest, I’m a little dazzled. “Tell me something else. You’ve just moved into the area, I hear?”
“Well, just into this apartment block, I didn't come that far,” I say. “But that’s nothing, tell me about living on the beach. Paradise. Have you always lived there?”
“Pretty much,” he says, chewing on a bite of steak. “My family live close by, in a huge house with my grandparents and a handful of aunts and uncles. The three of us moved out together when I left school. So now there are two Black households in the neighbourhood.”
I laugh at that, and notice that Rhys looks up at the sound. I think I see a shadow pass over his face, but it’s gone as soon as it appears and I wonder if I imagined it. Tamlin was so jealous, and I was hyperaware of his eyes on me whenever I spoke to another man. Maybe I’m projecting onto Rhys. Cress tugs at his elbow and his attention is diverted again.
“So you like the beach, then?” Tarquin asks me.
“Who doesn't like the beach?” I say.
“Rhys used to say he’s a mountains guy more than a beach guy,” Tarquin says. “But I think it’s grown on him.”
“You guys met on a trip, right?”
“Yeah, we taught them all how to surf and they brought alcohol. My parents were really strict and I had only just moved out at seventeen, so that was the first time I got drunk.”
I make a face. “Cassian tried to teach me the other day.”
“To drink or surf?”
“Surf, although I may as well have been drunk up there.”
Tarquin laughs this time, and I find that I like making him laugh.
“Well you’re welcome at our place any time you want to get some practice in.”
For some reason, I imagine it. Making weekend trips to the beach and dropping by to see friends. I grew up with two sisters and no one else, and then moved into Tamlin’s. I’d barely know what to do with this many friends.
At that moment, Mor and Helion get up and Mor announces that they’re making cocktails. She weaves over to the table of liquor that’s set up near the barbecue, mostly cheap alcohol plus fancier bottles of whatever the newcomers have brought. Helion is taking orders, and Mor is splashing drinks haphazardly without any measuring implements whatsoever. Cassian is calling out instructions, and Azriel is correcting him. And in the hubbub no one else seems to notice Cresseida stand, pull Rhys up by the hand and disappear into his apartment.
“Who wants a martini?” Mor calls.
“Me,” I say, even though I hate martinis. I throw it back without tasting it and keep one eye on Rhys’s closed apartment door. If I texted him now asking for that fake work call, would he do it?
Twenty minutes later they emerge, and I’m three drinks deep. Mor’s cocktails are pretty terrible but Helion’s are good. She’s in his lap, and I’m in a chair in front of where Tarquin is perched on the edge of the table. Azriel is drinking straight vodka from the bottle, and Cassian has piled all the left-over sausages onto his plate and is the only one still eating.
Tarquin is trying to show me some works on his phone by artists he’s trying to get into his gallery, but I’m looking over Rhys and Cresseida to see they’re dishevelled. I don’t know why I’m so fixated, but I relax a little now that they’re back with the group.
By the time the three of them leave, the sun is setting and I’m feeling sleepy from the alcohol. I hug the three of them goodbye, even though I barely spoke to Helion and I’ve decided I find Cress annoying. Tarquin tells me to add him on Instagram, and him I admit I actually do like. He was very easy to talk to, I liked his taste in art, and even though he’s clearly from money, he didn’t seem phased in our falling-apart, commission-housing apartment block.
We clear everything fairly quickly between the five of us. Mor disappears first, taking the rest of the liquor with her. Cassian and Azriel go back to Cassian’s to play videogames, and I’m pretty much ready to fall into bed. I trudge up the stairs, and a just about to say goodnight to Rhys when he says, “Do you want to hang out for a bit?”
Suddenly, I’m awake again.
“Sure,” I say. I follow Rhys into his house and fold tipsily into his couch. He sits down next to me, limbs long and stretching out. I can tell he’s slightly buzzed too because he’s slouched down low in the seat, head on the back rest and arm dangling over the side. He looks at me sideways.
“So what did you think?” he asks. I draw my knees into my chest, but Rhys reaches out and tugs my feet into his lap like when we were watching that movie. The movement is so natural, I try to act like it is for me, too.
“What did I think of what?” I ask him.
“You know. Those guys.”
I shrug. “They were cool,” I say.
“You stayed the whole time, that’s a good sign,’ Rhys comments. He lets his eyes close.
“Yeah.” I fidget with my sleeves, where I’ve pulled my hands into them. “Mor and Helion seem like they’re… still close.”
“They’re always like that. Ever since they started hooking up at eighteen. Carried on for a couple years, every time we were in Adriata, until Mor started exclusively dating girls.”
“And…” my heart rate jacks up. “You?”
Rhys lifts his head off the couch to look at me.
“What about me?”
I'm prying now, and it's an effort to keep my legs relaxed over his.
“Mor mentioned that you maybe dated Helion, too.”
Rhys’s head drops back down, and he closes his eyes again. “Nah. We fooled around a bit once, but never dated or anything.”
“Right. And… what about Cress?”
This time when he looks at me there’s something calculating in his gaze, like he’s trying to figure something out. I stare hard at the ends of my sleeves again. “Me and Cress? Never.”
I exhale quietly and try not to look relieved. Before I can stop myself, I say, “What were you guys doing up here, before? You kind of disappeared.” I immediately feel like that was a weird thing to ask, but I do want to know the answer. Rhys answers slowly.
“We… never dated… but she wants to. Usually tries to make a move when we hang out for any substantial length of time. I’ve told her no but I guess she’s not really used to guys saying no to her. At first she just asked if she could use my bathroom, but then we ended up having a chat about… things.” I look up and Rhys runs his hand through his hair.
“It’s awkward,” he says. “I tried to tell her that me and her, it’s just not going to happen.”
“Oh,” I say, and I don’t really know what to say after that. Good? I can’t say that. But as the tight feeling in my chest eases, I realise that I am glad to hear it.
“Hey,” Rhys says. “Did Mor tell you what we got up to, on that first holiday to Adriata?”
“No,” I say, and I feel myself smiling at the anticipation of a good story.
As Rhys talks I relax, no longer worrying about what’s going on between him and Cress. I try not to think too hard about why it bothers me, but I put it down to the fact that Cress is simply not good enough for Rhys. He’s kind and warm and generous with his friends, and he deserves the best.
I don’t remember falling asleep, I just remember laughing at his stories and then he’s shaking my shoulder gently and I’m waking up. “Let’s get you to bed,” he says softly, and I just nod and traipse back into my own apartment. Rhys walks me, even though it’s just next door. He puts a glass of water down on my night stand and helps me pull my shoes off before he leaves.
"Thanks," I mumble.
"You did good today," Rhys whispers, and I don’t even hear the door close before I’m asleep once more.

Thank you @armchairaleck for tagging, I feel a bit exposed and I don't think I`d dare to tag anyone - I just dont know anyone, so sad. Sorry!
Three Ships: three? pfff. The only one ship I check regularly is rorveth. I may think of a character Id like to read about and then see who people ship them with, trying to get some inspo... if I like it, its a micro ship for me so I would sometimes scroll through thinking maybe Ill stick with them for a while; does not last long though. is this bad?
First Ship Ever: oh my first ever fic read was Thranduil and OC and then somehow, without realizing, I clicked into Thranduil/Bard, I remember thinking oh my why I did not think of it before, and the rest is history.
Last Movie: I did go to see last Guardians of the Galaxy... I do like these on the big screen, fairy tales they are.
Currently Reading: Once Upon a Tome: A Misadventures of a Rare Bookseller, very fun, wordy but lively. I have a few books from the library but I haven't even open them, yet. I think one is a detective story that happened in Cloisters, the MET? I thought I might be entertained by a novel in museum setting (and hopefully not annoyed, since they usually do all of it wrong! Think how in the movie, Wonder Woman is a conservator at The MET, haha).
Currently Watching: new season of Black Mirror. Spooky!
Currently Consuming: homemade ice cream cake and a glass of rose. Its a heatwave here.
Currently Craving: some exercise without being afraid to screw my body up, again.

It was the last night of winter break, tucked away in the screening room of the Malfoy Manor sat you, Draco, Pansy, Theo, and Blaise. It has always been a tradition to spend winter breaks at the Malfoy Manor. With Mr. Malfoy away, Mrs. Malfoy has always found it quiet to spend Christmas with her only son, and so she insisted that he brings his friends to stay over during the break.
"So no horror?" Pansy asked as she went through the DVD display,
"We're not watching a horror movie just for you to crawl into our beds at night," Blaise answered, walking around the room as he made red sparks from the tip of his wand, waiting for Pansy to pick a movie.
"Zip it Zabini it was one time" She huffed before turning back to search for other movies, blabbing about how Blaise is being an ass for not letting them watch a horror movie.
You, Draco, and Theo walked into the half-lit room, greeted by Blaise who jumped off the couch to snatch the snacks off of Theo and the blankets off Draco before walking back to the spot of the couch to wrap himself in a little blanket cocoon.
"Y/N! Look at this, can we wat–"
"No Pansy, we will not watch Poltergeist because once we're back at school you won't be able to crawl into Blase's bed and you'll end up crawling into mine" You crossed both your arms over your chest, your brows lifting like a mother scolding her child.
"Ugh, you're no fun" She rolled her eyes before going back to the stack of DVDs.
Theo left to help Pansy pick out a movie, leaving you and Draco by the big doorway. You felt his hand slithering up your back, taking hold of your waist to spin you around– facing him. You looked up to see his bright orbs staring down at you, the corner of his lips lifting into a small smile "So... back at school tomorrow huh?" He said pulling you closer until your chest met his,
"I guess..." You smiled at him, your hand coming up to glide over his covered bicep and to the back of his neck, locking them there to hold onto him. "...just a few more months and we're done with this" Your voice quietened, just above a whisper as your face neared his.
"I know pretty girl" Draco closed the space in between, letting his lips devour yours as he held on to you, gripping your hips to bring you closer to him. It was nothing new, your lips moving with his as if it was a rehearsed choreography, chasing one another in the dark room.
"Aight enough, we're watching a movie, not porn" A deep voice called out from behind. You let go of Draco and turned your head to see Theo crossing his arms in front of his chest, huffing as he smirked, tending his weight on one leg.
"Well if that is your idea of porn, that's pretty sad mate" A higher-pitched voice chimed into the conversation. Theo's smirk completely dropped as he swung to look at Pansy standing behind him, stifling her laugh as did the rest of the group.
You poked your tongue out to him, laughing as you made your way to sit on the couch with Blaise who was already munching on the snacks. "Alright, now can we watch the movie?" Blaise asked, opening another pack of chips to pass around the room.
Everyone nodded in response, moving around the room to find a comfortable space to sit. Theo and Pansy took the carpet as they always do, building pillow forts for themselves so they can slouch as they watch the movie. You got up from the couch to grab some blanket off the floor before walking back to your spot just to see Draco sitting there comfortably.
Leaning back onto the couch and stretching his arms out to the sides as he spreads his long legs. You didn't mean to stammer but your eyes widened at his sight, Draco fucking Malfoy looking so good without having to do quite literally anything.
He knew you were looking, licking his lips before giving you a sly smirk. "C'mon" he mouthed, patting the spot on between his legs for you to occupy. This happens regularly, you sitting on his lap or the spot in between, so there shouldn't be any reason why you should be nervous... right?
You slowly moved towards him, smiling under your bright red cheeks before sitting in front of him. Draco's arms wrapped around you almost instantaneously, the strong scent of peppermint and citrus dancing its way to the back of your head. The light in the room went out as the big screen lit up, playing the opening of the movie Pansy picked.
You shuffled in his arms as you adjusted yourself and the blanket on top of you, moving left and right trying to get rid of a specific discomfort right on your lower back. "Draco..." You whispered as you turned around in your spot– facing him. "...why are your pockets always full?" You crossed your arms in front of you, glancing to the side to make sure Blaise is paying attention to the movie.
"What?" Draco's brows furrowed as confusion took over him,
"Your pockets" You gestured down to the pockets of his grey sweats, your brows lifting, waiting for an answer. Draco looked at you as if you grew horns, biting his pink lips as he tries to understand what you are insinuating.
All of a sudden the corner of his lips lifted, forming a devilish smirk as his cold lengthy fingers traced your hips. "My pockets are empty, darling" He muttered, bending down to meet you face to face.
It was your turn to look confused, you weren't imagining it, you definitely felt something on your lower back earlier, "If it's empty, then what wa-" You cut yourself off mid-sentence, gasping as you felt the air in your lungs disappear, the realization washing over you.
Draco didn't move, his eyes gazing at your lips as your face began to heat up. You felt the warmth of his hands leaving your hips before feeling them again on the side of your face, cupping it slightly to pull you in for a brief kiss. You met his lips once again for a swift kiss before he pulled away, turning you to face the screen.
"Watch the movie, who knows... maybe something will happen that'll surprise you" His lips lingered on the shell of your ear as his arms returned to wrap over you. You still felt it, his hard-on poking you from behind but you brushed it off as he gave you a reassuring kiss on the side of your head and his fingers laced with yours under the blanket.
It was halfway through the movie when you felt his hand leaving yours, you didn't give it a second thought but it seems like his hand is sliding lower and lower until it came in contact directly in front of your heat– teasing you, knowing how much you crave for this right now.
It's wrong to do anything, your friends are in the room and not to mention next to you, but again you were covered with the blanket and it seems like they're focused on the movie. You seem to be in a battle with your thought, wanting to push Draco's hand away but you didn't have the stomachs to do so.
He picked up on this, bobbing his head to the side to see you staring off into the screen but not grasping anything that's thrown at you. "Can you be a good girl and keep quiet?" His breath hot, lingering on your ear as it sent goosebumps down your spine.
You slowly nodded, keeping your vision straight before you felt his warm hand slither past the band of your pants, resting them on your covered cunt. You kept quiet, not moving from your previous position as he continued his actions.
You felt him again, his middle and ring finger pressing into your clit as he drew slow circles through the material. "Seems like you're ready hm?" He murmured into your hair, feeling the wetness of your cunt through your underwear.
Your wet lips rolled in between your teeth, biting down on them to make sure nothing slips past, but he wasn't making it easy. By now he was rubbing rougher circles on you, pressing into your engorged clit as you tried to keep still.
His fingers continued their actions, moving to the base of your underwear to pull them aside, exposing your sopping cunt to him. "Stay still..." He whispered, his fingers leaving the piece of fabric to trace the outer lips of your cunt. "...I mean it" His fingers smeared the wetness around, making a mess inside your pants– more than it already was.
You slowly turned your head to the side, from another point of view Draco looks as if he was just cuddling you, wrapping you in his warm embrace as he enjoys a good movie. Whereas in reality, his fingers worked you, rubbing you in ways he knows you love.
"Watch the movie darling" He murmured, not breaking the eye contact he had with the big white screen in front of you. You turned your head back, leaning back onto him as you gripped his knee for support.
Draco used his middle finger to draw circles directly on your clit, the wetness of your arousal helping his finger glide easily. The warm and sharp feeling of pleasure started to build at the pit of your stomach, Draco drawing them out gently.
He continued his actions, rubbing until the grip you had on his knee tightens, signaling you were close. It was harder to keep your mouth shut, your chest slightly heaving up and down as you closed your eyes, getting ready for the pleasure to wash over you. It was right around the corner, your orgasm building stronger and stronger as Draco's fingers brushed fast circles on your clit, and before you know it,
"Y/N are you okay?" A voice pulled you out of the headspace you were in. Your eyes shot open and your head snapped to the source of the voice. Blaise sat next to you, his arms over his chest as he tilted his head to the side. His brows furrowed, trying to figure out whether you were alright or not.
Draco's fingers came to a halt as soon as he heard Blaise's voice, dropping the feeling of an orgasm that was about to hit. His head too turned to the source of the voice next to him. "You okay darling?" Draco asked dumbfoundedly, smirking as if he didn't just rub you in the same room as your friends.
Your mouth fell open, wanting to respond to a hundred different things at once yet none actually came out. "U-Um... yeah I–" You stuttered, your eyes wide open when you felt Draco's fingers leaving your clit to move down to your clenching hole. "...Fuck" You muttered to yourself when you felt him slipping his middle finger into you.
"You don't look so well" Blaise continued, reaching his hand out to place the back of his palm to your forehead. "You're a little warm Y/N, you sure you're ok?" His palm left your forehead to place itself on your cheeks.
You brushed it off, dodging his palm as you gave his hand a small smack. "I'm fine Zabini, don't worry about... i-it" Draco slipped another finger into you, driving it deep into your sopping cunt as you tried to hide the emotions on your face.
"Well, if you say so" Blaise shrugged, though he knows something is going on he quickly brushed it off, leaning back onto his end of the couch to shift his attention back to the movie.
You turned your head back as Blaise did, trying not to squirm as Draco drives his fingers into you, building your orgasm once again. You leaned back onto him as the both of you tried to move as little as possible.
"Good job angel" Draco whispered into your ear, his lips lacing with your cheeks as he gave your flushed face a small peck. His fingers started to drive into you faster, curling the ends of his digit to hit that spongey spot deep inside you at every thrust.
Your walls tightened around him, clenching unevenly as the tingling feeling returned to the pit of your stomach. "Dray..." You whispered to him, slurring out his name into a whine as it left your lips. The grip you have on his knee tightening, telling him you are close.
Draco's fingers slowed for a second, readjusting themselves as he rested the rough pad of his thumb on your clit, drawing circles as his other digits thrust inside you. Your breath started to become heavy again, his fingers working out a rhythm inside you.
"You wanna cum?" He asked, his lips lingering on the shell of your ear once again. You nodded slowly, not having the stomach to answer him– afraid to let out a moan for the entire room to hear.
You could barely hold it back, the euphoric feeling just behind his fingertips as he continued torturing you– making you wait for his instructions to cum. Your back arched slightly, lifting off his chest as you wriggled under his tender touch.
Tears started to gather at your waterline, immersing your sight as you tried holding back your upcoming high. Draco continued his actions, ramming his slender digits into you– making you feel all your emotions at once. "You wanna show me how me how you cum on my fingers angel?... go on" His soothing voice rung to the back of your head, permitting you to finally let go.
Your eyes fluttered close with his command, letting go of your high as the shiny gold stars danced on your vision, taking up the dark space. You wanted to moan out his name, show him how good he's been making you feel, but all you could do was bite your lips in silence, making sure to not let a single sound slip past your lips.
"There we go" His fingers slowed down, pulling you back to reality as you tried to catch your breath, your chest heaving up and down as he continued to run circles on your clit. "Good job angel" He continued, his whispers shooting butterflies through your body.
You leaned back onto Draco, letting him wrap his free arm around you as he stopped the movement on your sopping cunt, giving your clit a tap before placing your underwear back into place. You watched as his hand comes up from the blanket, moving slowly until he reached his mouth, letting his arousal-covered fingers slip past his lips– sucking them dry.
You watched him, wide eyes as he removed the blanket that covers the both of you, "Y/N isn't feeling too well, I'm gonna bring her up to bed" Draco announced to the group as he moved you in your spot, throwing your legs over his to pick you up bridal style.
"See, I knew it!" Blaise called out as Draco fumbles on the couch, readjusting the blanket to cover you again.
"Are you alright?" Pansy asked as she got up from her pillow fort in front of you, Theo following her movement as his face washed over in a confused manner. You hummed in response, your breath still slightly heavy as Draco got up from the couch, lifting you with his as if you weight nothing. The edge of Draco's lips lift up at Pansy's question, flashing his sly smirk to the confused and worried group,
"She'll be fine... I'll take care of her"

the secret's out.

A/N: We begin our regularly schedule posting of this series with more fluff and with something that is truly fiction: William Andrew Michael Junior Nylander Altelius having more than one (1) thought.
“So how’s your secret girlfriend?” William asked as he and Rasmus dressed for practice together. Rasmus was busy putting his elbow pads on while William was sitting in his gear, waiting to just put on his jersey.
Rasmus noticed William’s skates weren’t tied yet, and he wanted to tie them together so William would trip and fall. He loved William like a brother, and William was most definitely his mentor, but there was no way he was going to tell him just yet. “I don’t have a secret girlfriend, you idiot.”
***
“Is that your secret girlfriend?” William asked as he watched Rasmus type away on his phone during dinner. Rasmus was texting his brother, but as he was doing so a notification popped up that Lusine had sent him a text too, which led him to smile down at his screen.
“What secret girlfriend?” Jason Spezza barely waited two seconds before chiming in too. He looked between Rasmus and Willy, highly skeptical.
Rasmus rolled his eyes. “I don’t have a secret girlfriend!” he hissed at William.
Jason leaned back in his seat slightly, all of the sudden not so uptight. “Why are you teasing him about a secret girlfriend?” he asked Willy.
“Because he has a secret girlfriend.”
“So?” Jason eyed him. “You had—” he stopped dead in his tracks at the same moment William dropped his fork loudly into his plate of pasta below.
“He had what?” Rasmus asked.
Jason cleared his throat. “He had blue balls for Aberdeen for an entire year. He can’t make fun of anyone else’s love life.”
Rasmus laughed, grabbing William by the shoulder and shaking him. William, for his part, was making a face at Jason. “Best year of our lives being able to make fun of him like that,” he smiled.
“Yeah. It was hilarious,” Willy deadpanned.

Rasmus had never been intimidated by a building before – not any hockey arena, church, house, what have you – but he was intimidated by Robarts Library. It was just so…big. And ugly. And there was so much going on – so many students and books and workers and computers and just so many…things. That didn’t even take into account the energy of the place: if stress had an origin, it began at Robarts. The only thing was that he was lucky he blended in with most of the students, seeing as he was around their age, anyway. He saw the turnstiles, which were just one obstacle in Operation Find Lusine.
“Fuck it dude. I’m gonna fail anyway, what’s the fucking point?” a guy in a baseball cap and hoodie complained to his friend as they walked close towards Rasmus and the turnstiles.
“Hey bro,” Rasmus got their attention suddenly, not even knowing exactly what he was going to say. “I uh, I forgot my student card upstairs. You mind?”
The guy didn’t even blink twice. “Yeah bro, come on,” he motioned with his head, swiping the card and letting Rasmus through. Well that was easy enough. Rasmus followed them towards the elevators, and as they were waiting, looked up to see where the ‘history’ floor would be.
Only it wasn’t that simple. Of-fucking-course.
For some reason everything started at the 9th floor. And for some reason, things were organized into alphabetical order, not subject.
9th floor
AC–AZ | B–BX | C–CT | D | Oversize
10th floor
DA–DX | E | F–FC
11th floor
G–GV | H–HX | J–JZ | K–KZD
12th floor
L–LT | M–MT | N–NX | P–PM
13th floor
PN–PT | TR,TT | U–UH | V–VM | Z–ZA
Rasmus gulped.
“What floor you need, bro?” the kind young man who had offered his student card asked.
“Uh…9th,” Rasmus said, not quite knowing what exactly he was going to do. Should he work his way up? Down? How the fuck did people do this? He should have thought this through a hell of a lot more, but when it came to Lusine, he didn’t really think much because he was convinced he just knew.
The elevator brought him and the boys up to the 9th floor. They were going to the 12th. “Good luck bro,” one of them said as Rasmus exited, and he nodded back at them as if he was going on a secret mission and it was the last time he’d see them. Both those things were technically true. Once the elevator doors closed, Rasmus was greeted with an absolute behemoth. There were bookshelves everywhere. Desks everywhere. Stress everywhere. He looked towards the wall and saw the floor map, right next to the fire escape instructions.
He took a deep breath.
He looked at every face in every cubby he saw on the inner perimeters first before looking at every face sitting on the outer perimeters in the desks. He’d never seen so many desolate faces in his life. She wasn’t in any of them. So he went up a floor and did the same for all the cubbies and all the desks on the 10th floor. She wasn’t in any of them. So he went up a floor and did the same for all the cubbies and all the desks on the 11th floor.
And there she was. Huddled over, earphones in, a stack of books next to her, typing away furiously on her laptop. He stopped walking and just watched her for a few moments, watched her as she looked back and forth between an open book and her screen, typing out the words before turning the page. He smiled to himself. Rasmus didn’t want to cause a ruckus. He knew that if he did, he’d get nasty stares and probably get kicked out. So all he did was slip into the empty cubby next to her.
When she looked up to see who in God’s name was taking the seat right next to her while there were so many available, her jaw dropped onto the floor. Rasmus was smiling back at her. She pulled her headphones down. “Rasmus?!” she half-yelled, half-whispered, covering her mouth when she realized how relatively loud she was in the silence of the library. “What are you doing here?”
“Thought I’d keep you company,” he whispered, taking his phone out of his pocket and plopping it on the desk.
Lusine couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “How’d you find me?”
“Started on the 9th floor.”
Her heart melted.

Rasmus didn’t complain once throughout the four hours they stayed at Robarts. He had been on his phone the whole time, scrolling Instagram or watching hockey highlights. He held down their little two-desk fort when Lusine had to go back in the stacks to find another book, and he tried to give menacing stares at people who tried to sit relatively close to them. He wanted their own space. Lusine needed her own space.
It was just passed nine when Lusine was finished her essay and ready to go. Rasmus helped her put the books she took out on the restock cart. They stepped onto the elevator in silence. When the doors closed, Lusine looked up at Rasmus. “Were you planning to do that the entire time?” she asked.
“Of course,” Rasmus said. “When you texted. I had to see you.”
Lusine swooned. She never imagined a boy saying these sorts of things to her. For such a long time, she didn’t think it would have ever been a reality for her. But Rasmus was real. Somehow. He wasn’t a figment of her imagination. She knew so because she saw him on TV. That had to make him real, right? She would never have guessed a hockey player. “You’re something else.”
Lusine felt his hand cover hers. “You hungry?”
“I’m tired,” she chuckled. “I just wanna go to bed.”
“When’s the essay due?”
“In two weeks.”
“And you’re doing it now?”
“Why wouldn’t I do it now?”
“I don’t know, don’t university students, like, wait to get stuff done until the night before and pull all-nighters?”
Lusine couldn’t help but giggle. For someone who wasn’t going to university and never did, he got the stereotype pretty dead-on. “I’m trying not to be that irresponsible,” she said. “With work and now you, I have to make sure I make time for everything.”
***
Rasmus was with Willy and Aberdeen. They invited him over for a homemade brunch because they wanted to make sure he was getting his proper nutrients. He’d reminded the both of them that in his and Willy’s relationship, he was the cook. That didn’t matter. It was actually quite nice that they invited him over, if he was being honest. Aberdeen knew how to poach eggs, and he’d rather pay zero dollars for Aberdeen’s homemade poached eggs than $20 for poached eggs at some restaurant.
The team had won 5-4 against the Detroit Red Wings last night, but it had been a tight game – tighter than Rasmus would have liked, but they got the win regardless. It was Halloween night at Scotiabank Arena too, and though the team had their own Halloween party earlier in October, it was nice to see some fans, especially kids, get festive. He couldn’t even keep track of how many Auston-style moustaches he saw on the kids pressed up against the glass during warmups.
Lusine had gone out last night to a Halloween party with Bianca and her friends. He’d checked his phone after the game only to see a series of five pictures Lusine had sent him of her in a skin-tight Catwoman costume. He almost didn’t make it home. He had half the mind to ditch his car at Scotiabank Arena and scour every club in Toronto to see if she was there, much like he did in Robarts. But instead, he kept his cool. And he kept looking at the photos until he dozed off and his phone dropped on his face.
She was texting him now, as he was sitting at the table, complaining about her hangover. He tried not to seem too preoccupied with his phone, but the attempt was meaningless. “How’s your secret girlfriend?” William asked as he sat down in his seat, cup of coffee in his hand.
Tumblr media
“I don’t have a secret girlfriend,” he mumbled, typing out a message to Lusine about Advil and Gatorade.
Tumblr media
“Will you stop with that?” Aberdeen chastised her boyfriend as she put Rasmus’s plate full of food in front of him. “Rasmus, do you want more coffee?”
Tumblr media
“Is that who you’re texting now? Your secret girlfriend?” Willy pushed.
“William, will you sto—”
“—She can’t be my girlfriend yet if we haven’t even kissed,” Rasmus blurted out without thinking.
The entire apartment went silent. Rasmus’s heart dropped into the pit of his stomach once he’d realized what he’d said. He shot his head up to look at Aberdeen and Willy. Aberdeen’s jaw was on the floor. William’s eyes were bulging out of their sockets. Within a few seconds, William had banged his fist down on the table. “I KNEW IT!!!!!” he screamed.
“Will—” Rasmus tried to say, in Swedish, but it was no use.
“VIIIIINDICAAATIOOOOOOOOOONNN!!!” William screamed at the top of his lungs. “I WAS RIIIIIGHT!”
“You have a girlfriend?” Aberdeen was exasperated, her jaw still on the floor from the shock. “How? When? Who? What?!”
Rasmus facepalmed with both his hands. It wasn’t supposed to happen like this. Not like this. “Guys, please…” he pleaded.
“Who is she? What’s her name?” William asked. “Give me all the details now, Sandy.”
There was no use trying to hide it any longer. He was caught. He framed himself for that matter. He’d never forgive himself for this. Trying to look for a silver lining, he guessed that if any two people found out first, he was happy that it was his best friend and his girlfriend. “Her name is Lusine,” he revealed.
“Lusine what?”
“Lusine Forrester. She goes to U of T.”
“Oh!” Aberdeen exclaimed. “You got yourself a university girl! I already like her. What’s she studying?”
“History major.”
“This seems promising. What year?”
“Second.”
“Is she from Toronto?” William asked.
“She grew up in like a small town or something outside of Toronto, but like…yeah, she’s from here,” Rasmus said. “She moved to Toronto to go to university. She’s living in an apartment in the Annex right now with a roommate.”
“What’s she look like?”
There was zero percent chance Rasmus was going to show them the pictures she’d sent of herself from last night, so he gave them her Instagram handle instead. Aberdeen typed it in on her phone and William leaned into her to check the profile. “Are you dating a model?” she asked, exasperated, hoping that Rasmus wasn’t turning into another Kasperi. “She’s stunning, Sandy. How on earth did you even meet her?”
“She’s not a model,” he corrected Aberdeen.
“She’s not?”
He shook his head. “I was in a coffee shop and overheard a disaster date she was on and I, like, went up to her pretending to know her to help get her out of it.”
Aberdeen leaned back in her chair dramatically. “Oh my God, Rasmus! Are you kidding me?!”
“Wait,” William said dramatically. “Have you invited her to a game yet?”
“No.”
“Oh, but she has to come!” Aberdeen said. “Invite her on Saturday. Hockey Night in Canada. I promise to take care of her. Me and Bee, anyway.”
Rasmus loved Bee, so the thought of Aberdeen and Bee being with her at the game calmed him down a little bit. If he and Lusine were going to be doing this, coming to a game was a logical next step. He just wondered if it would be too much for her too soon. He didn’t want to jeopardize anything. “Yeah. Okay. Maybe. We’ll see.”
William shook his head, grabbing his knife and fork to finally dig into his brunch. “I’m never letting you live this down,” he told Rasmus before stabbing his poached egg with the knife.
