My mother is the most beautiful woman I know. I remember always looking at the skin tags around her eye and thinking about how beautiful they were. That tiny feature just, makes me think of my mom. I remember her excitedly telling me that she was entering her “Crone era.” My mother is stunning not ‘even with’ but because of her grey hairs, and her smile lines, and the scars on her palms. She’s made me excited to get older, to age, to be so graceful and beautiful like her.
