currently thinking about how doug and michael both call lisa “kiddo” when lisa is in a vulnerable moment with both of them, they both betray her in similar/different ways, and how neither of them see her as equal to them

reallyyy hope the root of cellbit and roier's argument today comes back to haunt them we love to see core beliefs start to clash -- "safety is non-negotiable" vs "living in fear is not living at all"

so so interesting which kh characters believe in fate and which don’t. so interesting that nearly all of khux is person after person saying ‘ok but there’s gotta be a way out of fate right like There’s a way out?’ and there is not even a little bit. so interesting that xehanort believes so much in fate above all else that he’ll travel back in time to be the catalyst for the worst parts of his own life. so so interesting kairi in melmem telling xehanort that he’s the one that ruined her fate. Man.

FCG asking Ashton who they cared about is so heartbreaking. Because Ashton very obvious loves FCG. He’s expressed it in so many little ways. They’ve always looked out for them. And for the one person you so obviously love and care for to turn to you and doubt you love any of them. Doubt that you care about any of them.
Ashton either thinks he really sucks at caring for others because FCG couldn’t see it. Or they think they fucked up so badly that those other times didn’t matter.
Ashton made a bad choice. And they absolutely should have consequences of that choice. But fuck.
I really hope Orym notices them withdrawing and reassures them cause I think they could really use someone who is obviously on their side. Cause from their perspective, their friends are all disappointed and waiting for them to do better.

that one tidbit from the fellow travelers novel where tim is fantasizing about him and hawk in the future - sitting with hawk while listening to the radio after dinner lives in my mind rent free
