Jake: given his goofy nature, he would tell you jokes all the time and try to make you laugh as often as he could. He would always end up stealing some laughs from you at the end and that would always leave him feeling proud of himself, everytime he saw your pretty smile. Jake would also hunt meat from big Pandoran animals, the ones who are hard to kill, like the hammerhead titanothere, and bring the meat to you already prepared as a meal as an act of courting (and to prove to you he's a fearless warrior and a good mate who will be able to provide really good food for you if you choose him). He would tease you calling you "pretty girl", making you blush and sometimes get mad at him for making you flustered and vulnerable and Jake would find your angry face just so cute and smile widely, thinking he would never give up on trying to make you his mate because you're too adorable. One night, he would approach you after dinner time and say "I've been courting you for so long. Can you please end my suffering and let me be your mate? My heart is all yours, girl." He would look at you with those perfect yellow eyes, begging for you to be his. You would step next to him, touch his beautiful face and kiss his lips, making him grab you tight in his arms, breathing out in relief.

Ao'nung: He would bully almost every young person in Awa'atlu but it was different with you. He would never dare to make fun of you, scared to hurt you even slightly, because imagining your little precious heart aching because of something he said or did killed him. Ao'nung would smile at you a lot, but not in a devilish way like he did to others, but in a sincere, pure way. You didn't understand why he acted that way with you but you would smile shyly back and always be nice to him. He would teach you all he knows about fishing and diving. One day, he would ask you if you wanted to meet him just before eclipse would fall, in a quieter place next to the shore, where not a lot of na'vi would go at the time. You found that a little weird but as you knew him for long enough and he was the Olo'eyktan's son, you thought he wouldn't do anything bad to you, so, you accepted his offer. When you got there, he would be waiting, looking at the sea. When Ao'nung noticed you, he would give you that cute wide smile as you were coming closer. The moment you were standing in front of him, he would hold your hands. That surprised you but you liked the way it felt. Ao'nung would look at your eyes and say "I don't know if you noticed it by now, but you're more than special to me. Can I start courting you? I've made you some bracelets but never felt confident enough to give them to you. I didn't wanna ruin our friendship..." You would smile at him and say "I didn't see it coming... but yes, Ao'nung. I'd love to be courted by you."

Lo'ak: He would make it totally obvious that he wants you as his mate way before he finds the courage to start courting you, not because he is incredibly confident, but because he sucks at hiding his feelings for you. Lo'ak would stare at you a lot. He would be so talkative and extroverted next to everyone else but, next to you, he would suddenly become shy and talk less, what even made you think maybe he didn't really like you as a person but soon enough you caught him staring at you one day with his mouth slightly open, like he was in awe. When Lo'ak noticed you saw him, he didn't know what to do at first, but then he finally found the courage to say "sorry I look so weird, I was just... to be honest, I was trying to understand how can a girl be so beautiful and real at the same time." You chuckled at how cheesy it sounded and smiled at him. He smiled back, so happy he wasn't rejected, and after that day he started to gift you many delicate jewelry he would make for you that had your favorite stones in them and talk to you everyday until he finally was confident enough to ask you if he could kiss you, to which you said "yes, please" and he pulled you in, kissing you eagerly.

Neteyam: He would be so protective over you. Neteyam would treat you like a gentleman, helping you with any weight you needed to carry, always smiling at you and making you feel that you were special in his eyes, the chosen one among all the girls in Pandora. He would gift you with all types of things: fresh fruits, delicious fungi treats, jewelry and really sharp knives he made himself to help you hunt easier. Neteyam would always ask if he could sit next to you at meal time, when the na'vi would get together to eat and you would always say you'd love his company. You guys were inseparable, a big beautiful bond between the both of you. Neteyam would slowly work his way into being sure you liked him back, before making the next move, that would be a bold one. He would at first touch one of your braids slightly when you guys were laughing and talking. When he noticed you didn't show discomfort, with time, he started to touch your hands, then your shoulders, until it escalated to him touching your waist, which sent shivers down his spine. You would melt at every gentle touch Neteyam gave you. The time for the bold move came, and Neteyam would look deep into your eyes and say "I'm gonna do something now. Please, push me away if you don't like it." He would get his mouth close to yours and give you the most tender but intense kiss, like he was starving for your lips for so long. You kissed him back, holding onto his braids, which made him sure he did the right thing. Neteyam would whisper "I love you (y/n). I want so bad to be your mate." and gaze at your eyes until you said "I wish you had said it sooner. I want to be your mate too, Teyam."

Summary: General headcanons of the meeting, dating, first impressions, affection and NSFW (under the cut) of Donkey Kong and yourself. Enjoy!

Meeting

• DK first saw you when he passed the store you worked at.

• Although your store may have not been his first preference of shopping, he just couldn't resist talking to you.

• It was the way you served the customers, the way you welcomed everyone who came in, the way you smiled and bobbed your head to the music over the speakers.

• He just had to meet you.

• At first, once you weren't serving customers, he tried to chat you up by sounding smart about the products that you sold.

• Plot twist, he know nothing about them.

• You laughed slightly before offering to explain the products.

• He, of course, immediately said yes. You'd be talking to him, just him. He couldn't pass up the opportunity.

• Depending on what you sold, he was either really intrigued or really confused.

• Either way, he listened to every word you said.

• Almost every day, or whenever he saw you working, he came to visit you.

• Whether it was to ask the same question just to hear your voice, or to talk to you while the store was extremely quiet.

• He just wanted to hang out with you :)

• This was a regular occurrence until one day, he showed up at the same time that you finished your shift early.

• You noticed for the first time in these many weeks, he seemed to be acting a little different while also holding his hand behind his back.

• Fixing his tie and scratching the back of his neck gave it away.

• He revealed a bouquet of your favourite flowers!

• He surprised you by asking if you would like to go on a date.

• His heart skipped a beat when you smiled and said, "I'd love to."

• You don't think you've ever seen anyone more excited than he was that day.

Dating

• The first thing DK noticed was how relaxed you were when you weren't working.

• This caused him to make you his number one priority whenever you two hung out.

• You assured him that he didn't need to do that.

• He didn't listen.

• He loves taking you for rides in his kart while you simply take in the scenery.

• Surprisingly, going on picnics was one of his favourite kind of dates.

• Relaxing? Just the two of you?? In a secluded area??? Away from crazy crowds????

• Paradise.

• It almost always ended with you both napping.

• You would normally lean against a tree and DK would lay his head on your lap.

• Bonus for him if you play with his hair.

• Sometimes, you would surprise him with a date!

• The first thing you tried was to go and watch one of his fights in the arena.

• He spotted you in the crowd and practically fangirled.

• He fought harder, flexed more often, blew you kisses, and dedicated his win to you.

• If you like/don't mind PDA, he announced it to the crowd.

• "I dedicate this victory to my gorgeous lady, (Y/N)!" He gestured up to you. You've never been so flustered, but you loved it.

• If he knows that you don't like PDA, he told you after the match by whispering kind words in your ear.

• If you EVER mention something that you want to get, he'll get it for you (if he can).

• Hungry? He'll buy you food.

• Thirsty? Name a drink, he'll hunt it down.

• You see a toy you love?

• Be prepared, because the next time you see him, the exact same toy will be in his hands.

• Wherever you are comfortable to go, DK will take you there.

• He just wants to be around you. That's his perfect date :)

First Impressions

• The first time you were announced to the crowd, there was a mix of reactions.

• Of course, there were the crazy fangirls (and fanboys) who weren't huge fans of you.

• They wanted Donkey Kong.

• Too bad, because he wants you.

• The rest of the crowd loved you. Some even saw you as a celebrity.

• Donkey Kong's family wasn't sold immediately.

• DK's famous, it would be a lie to say he's never had a partner before. Majority of the time, they lasted a few days, as the person mostly wanted the fame that came with dating Donkey Kong.

• After the first week that you two had become official, his dad, Cranky Kong, was genuinely surprised and warmed up to you after the first few weeks.

• He saw how happy you made his son. DK had never smiled as much as he did when he was around you.

• After dating DK for a while, and becoming more comfortable around him and his family, Cranky Kong invited you over for dinner with the family more often.

• Sometimes DK didn't even know until he showed up at the table.

• He was ecstatic every time... until his dad stole you from him.

• "I invited her, she is my guest."

• "But she's my girlfriend-"

• "She's my guest. Anyways, (Y/N)-"

• Diddy Kong was skeptical of you at first. Just like Cranky Kong, he didn't think you would be here long.

Like after the events of this fic- I'd imagine Joel's parents were Royally (hah) upset the next morning when they see that their child was sleeping with the son of their (now dead) political rivals ghjfgjf... like Joel feels 100% justified in the whole thing (and also rather enjoyed it, tyvm) but also,, he was probably grounded for literally a month if not longer afterwards hgjfhgjf.....

For Oli... I'm sure he's an absolute Joy to have in class if you know what I mean (/silly) like he is tormenting the halls of the palace and being a general nuisance but none of it would really be "worst thing ever" bc he's a prince and also just goofy so he's annoying but the staff loves him yk. Gosh... I mean... I do kill them kinda. That's pretty significant. Joel dies horribly and Oli is trapped in stone for 200 years. That's pretty awful.

But that hasn't happened Yet and I dunno if I'll ever have the heart to write that particular scene ghfjgd... like I know how it happens in my head. but. I can't do that to them by putting it in writing </3

Besides that... Oli's parents did die too. Still dunno if it was political conspiracy or not. But either way, that's pretty awful and traumatic for him- and he couldn't be with his best friend for a few months before that and then afterwards he STILL couldn't be with him for a while... brutal for him :(

And Joel's upbringing is just kinda... sad. He's sooo lonely and then he FINALLY gets a friend and of COURSE it's the ONE PERSON he's not allowed to really talk to and his parents aren't supportive at ALL of their friendship but they gotta grin and bear it bc yaayyy alliesss and it's so tense and awful and makes him feel guilty because it's like he's gotta choose his family or his only friend but his family was always so neglectful anyway so why would he choose them but that's his Home and- anyways. Any event involving that whole dynamic is his worst, hope this helps ^^

In my au I've decided sniffers are indeed still alive but they're (almost) all kept in one big sanctuary in Mezalea. Maybe there's a few wild ones left but like no one's seen em so it's assumed they're all there. I figured if this au takes place ~200 years before "canon empires" and also irl dodo birds were around in the 1800s... yeah sure, why not? Sniffers can be canon <3

Of course when Oli hears about this he absolutely learns how to shapeshift into one to impress Joel. Which absolutely works. Because oh my void sniffers,,,,

Batter with a Doting Reader

First off: You are exactly what he needs. Considering his mission is above all things but one, that being you, he will neglect himself in favour of getting it done. After all, if he has the time to eat a meal he also has the time to slay a few spectres. No one can tell him not to, even if god himself were to descend from the heavens to tell him to. However, if you do it, then it’s a whole different story. Your word is the law, so if you need him to slow down for a bit, he will.

He wouldn’t be surprised by your kindness and benevolence, you are just that great, after all, but to say he wouldn’t be moved would be a lie. You, a being so much more than he could ever be, has decided he is worthy of being taken care of. Of receiving nourishment and affection. While he may not express it as smoothly outwardly as other people would, he tries to reciprocate. Batter isn’t a man of many words either, so he will show you his appreciation less so through words, which isn’t to say you won’t hear him say thank you, and more so by giving it 110% percent during his mission.

Expanding on the example in the first paragraph a bit, give him some food. He ignores most of his body’s pleas, which include nourishment, rest and fun but optional stimulation. Hearty meals are definitely among his favourites as they give him the energy he needs to get through the day fighting enemies far and wide. But he’ll eat anything you make, regardless of whether it tastes like a five-star chef made it or someone capable of burning a salad did. If the latter is the kind of cook you are, you might get to see him scrunch up his face ever so slightly in the corner of your eye, but he will still eat it. Even if he might claim it tastes “interesting”. But in the end, he appreciates the thought more than anything else.

In fact, if you cook for him enough times he might try to do the same for you, with varying degrees of success. He’s not human, so his dishes may be “interesting” to you as well. Again, he means well and just wants to make you happy as well.

On the rare occasion you guys have some spare time, you can introduce him to some hobbies. While I can’t see him being an avid reader, writer or artist, I can see him as the kind of person doing well with all sorts of puzzles. As for activities for several people: He’s a smart fella, he’ll pick up board and card games fairly quickly. Introduce him to chess, in less than a few games you’ll actually start losing to him. Compliment him on his wins and smarts. It’ll make him feel warm on the inside and chances are you’ll catch the rare sight of him smiling ever so slightly. But he also makes sure you get some wins in as well, as obvious as it is he lets you win.

Also, please tuck him into bed. Help him get ready, show him a routine for taking care of himself, pick up the blanket, tell him to lay down, and then put it over him. Lastly, give him a good night kiss on the forehead. He’ll be sparkling with happiness. Even better if you let him rest on your lap. Embarrassing as it might be at first, he’ll be looking at your face more so than anything else. Don’t mind that, he just thinks you’re absolutely gorgeous. Run your fingers through his hair, he can and will melt, as well as fall asleep. He is rather fatigued from his quest, after all, and does feel safe around you. As much as he would prefer to protect you from the world, he will also accept being the one taken care of.

If you pepper him in kisses he will be a happy Batter, albeit a flustered one. In fact, if you do it enough, he might just feel a bit more courageous and give you a quick peck as well. Either that or he might pull down his cap enough it would fall off were he not holding it. It’s a 30-70 at first, but the numbers change the longer the two of you are together.

When giving him lots of gifts you have acquired from anywhere, be it something expensive from Zacharie or an item you looked for days on end, he will treasure it forever. Doesn’t matter if it’s an ornate diamond necklace or a rock that reminded you of him. Anything you give him will be taken with him, if he can. Again, eventually, he will try to do the same for you by giving you all sorts of gifts as well. He is the kind of person to mimic what you do. They do say “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”.

All in all, he will be so happy and try to make everything up to you. Once he copies what you do, you’ll know you’ve reached a high level of love with him. Dote on him enough and he will let his guard down around you. Beware, though, he will grow even more protective of you. Not in a bad jealousy kind of way, rather in a way that shows “I love you so dearly, the world will stop the day something happens to you”.

these are along similar lines of marius wanting to get a reaction out of luke like with the joke-y ones, but less of a joke and more of a innuendo. petnames like babe, darling, sweetheart, puppy, etc. and all of these are said with the undercurrent of sensuality and "wanna take this somewhere a little less PG 13? a-wink-wonk", said with the same tone marius says jiejie when hes being sly and trying to get a flustered reaction, You Know The Tone

it's almost unbearably soft and tender to luke. the first time he hears these kinds of petnames from marius, he almost doesnt know how to react. but sure enough, he gets used to it. not in the sense that it's lost its novelty, but that marius calling him things like these (and all the other kinds of petnames too) becomes comfortable and well-worn and warm

now on luke's end......

.....i dont see luke using terms of endearment often with marius. at the very least, not as often as marius does for him. he prefers to just use marius' name, and he communicates whatever intent and feelings hes got in how he says it. sharp and witty whenever he wants to fight back from marius' teasing, low and deliberate whenever he wants to get marius to hot and bothered, soft and comfortable whenever theyre just enjoying each other's company, uncaring of anything else in the world but each other

the irl lesbo shenanigans of this week ~

saturday i went to my friend's birthday party and she introduced me to her bestie from out of state. Me and this girl ended up talking pretty much all night, until i left around 4am lmao. She was a little shy but really cute, at one point she said i had really nice skin so i complimented her back by saying she had "really nice eyes that i'd been staring at the whole time" and she was kinda taken aback and blushed and was like "oh my gosh sorry i'm like...wow okay i'm super flustered" LOL it was nice, she walked me out at the end of the night and said i was "so cute", i invited her to an art exhibition the next day before she left back home but she couldn't make it. it was nice!! and my friend had such a good food spread, she made a seafood bake it was ufff

next day, my coworker had an art exhibition at our shop so i went to that, and it was really cool!! Great turnout, i think all of us are inspired to use the space for more events like that, we wanna do a collective gallery show with all the artists!! I talked with some guy who is a therapist for a while, he was alright, but end of the night, a small group of us stayed and went out onto the balcony to hang out. Someone played guitar while we sang along, i chatted with one of my coworkers about our first-times with girls and other experiences we had growing up, and then eventually my coworker was like "let's play truth or dare!!"

so we're playing, most people are picking "truth", everyone is horrified at all of the stories i tell LMFAOOO because every experience i have is unhinged! I got dared to kiss the person to my left, so i end up giving this really fucking cool tattoo artist i just met who is straight as hell a little peck on the lips. my coworker asks me, "if you could have sex with anyone here, who would it be"?" and i pointed at her and she goes "*gasp* MEEE? :D" LMAOO and then for some reason, the game briefly turns into spin the bottle???? it lands on me twice. First I kiss one of my coworkers and it's such a nice kiss, i accidentally leaned in for seconds (which she matched lmaooo) then the next is with the same one i pointed to, who i've had some "hmm hmm is this actual flirting or not" for a long while now, anyway, also a very nice kiss, she slipped me some tongue, and uhhh yeah, we'll see what happens next time we go out lmao whenever we party, she tries to feed me drinks so!

anyway, it was a really fun week despite having to get my car towed, and including the clothing swap day, i have been out until 4am 3 times this week and with working on my film until like 8am every day, my sleep schedule is nocturnalized!! but yeah, cute!!

My zodiac is taurus and I'm INFP, I'm chill and sleepy most of the time but I can get really hype and energetic when talking or seeing something related to my interests ! I also enjoy listening to people ranting about what they like. I'm also kinda oblivious and struggle to understand when something is implied and not directly said, as well as struggle with some social cues. I tend to bump on furnitures/walls often (accidently and probably due to a lack spatial awareness).

I love indoor activities the most, reading, gaming, figures collecting and scrapbooking are my main ones ! I enjoy taking a walk from time to time but rather avoid loud and very crowded space as I get easily overwhelmed. Food wise not a lot to say beside that I love sweet stuff the most and really can't deal with spices (I like it but my tongue is very sensitive and I burn with even the smallest amount if it makes sense 😭english isnt my main language sorry)

I dislikes loud noises, yelling, hot weather, very strong scents (ex as in perfume shops) and as said earlier crowded areas. I'm usually ok with hugs or overall physical touch if it's from friends or people but at times its uncomfortable and I always appreciate asking before even doing a basic like taking my hand

Then hmm if it's useful I'm asexual, and struggle with understanding ''what'' really is love and got bad romantic experiences in the past but I'm also an hopeless romantic haha

I tend to have random drop of mood and get insecure, even if I'm working on that I'd like someone who could understand and support me in that. Jia: No, Jia hasn't got any sexual experience, either before or after she got captured. And due to the circumstances of her capture, for a fair amount of time, she was quite numb, even appalled by the idea of having sex. She couldn't believe she'd ever meet that person who would make her actually want it and not be afraid of it, even though in her heart, she secretly craved that kind of intimacy—blame the sappy novels she keeps hoarding and reading again and again in her hours of loneliness. Now, after she meets Miraak, and slowly builds deep-rooted and mutual love, trust, and respect with him, Jia will be very much willing in this aspect. 👀👀👀

Miraak: Miraak is my Beloved Virgin™. He has never done anything romantic in his life, save for some very chaste kisses back in Atmora, before he became a Dragon Priest. In my headcanon, Dragon Priests swore celibacy. They weren't allowed to have wives or mistresses, and they weren't allowed to sire children, since passion and love are sometimes equal to devotion and dragons did not allow their servants to be devoted to anyone else than them—a dragon cannot simply share commitment. Also, dragons are not driven by romantic love or sexual desire, so the same thing was expected by their representatives. Miraak broke his oath of allegiance to the Dragon Cult and the dragons by rebelling against them, and now that he's out of Apocrypha, he's yet ready to break his oath of celibacy... 👀

(he had plenty of time in Apocrypha to scour through various tomes with Informative Content concerning these matters, so just like Jia, he might put his knowledge to good use...)

🧸: Into public displays of affection or are they more reserved?

Jia: She is reserved by nature, so I'd say she'd show her affection when she had the privacy to do so—she is also very expressive in her love and doesn't want to draw unwanted eyes in her personal moments. The only time I can imagine Jia displaying her affection in public is during a big battle when Miraak is in danger or bleeding or does something badass with his powers and turns her on... 😂👀

Miraak: Miraak is not as reserved as Jia, so I can see him trying to claim an affectionate moment with her in public. His possessive draconic instincts may kick in a bit, showing everyone she's his, but his expressions of love also display the true pride he bears for his counterpart. I can imagine him stealing her kisses while thinking, this is my wife. Look at how very strong she is. She is the fire itself. Did you know that she slayed Alduin?

💐: What is their courting style? How would they woo someone?

Jia: She's inexperienced and very subtle in this matter. Maybe with little glances or imperceptible touches or nuanced compliments that make her flustered as soon as she acts them, or, because she knows she's coming off as awkward, she tries to flirt/give away a portion of her romantic feelings by offering gifts she makes herself—for Miraak, she has crafted a dagger, has baked various sweets, has cooked foods, has offered him her bedroom, and all these are her own unique ways to literally scream to him: I fall head over heels for you.

Miraak: Miraak, on the other hand, is a bit more precise about his flirting, even though he also has insecurities and zero experience and gets equally flustered; especially when he receives compliments. While Jia might flirt with little glances, Miraak's gaze might be more enduring and mischievous, so his interest shows pretty clearly—in the beginning, he used to tease Jia regularly to flirt with her and test her own reactions, so he ended up reveling at the sight of her flushed cheeks and accentuated freckles as an answer to his teasing. He also had a bad habit of invading her personal space, not because he wanted to cause her distress whatsoever, but because he was just so desperate for closeness in general and in Jia's closeness in particular. As their relationship evolves and warms up, he may start to offer gifts to her, too! My Miraak weaves clothes with Alteration Magic, so in an upcoming chapter, he will sew something for her... something rather intimate... 👀

(I can see him trying to flirt with her by writing her poems with a loving undertone, and she stands there trying to analyze their meaning all shy and flushed...)
