“It wasn’t something Steve did, right? Because I’ll kick his ass for you!” Robin insisted, rubbing Nancy’s back. “My love…what is it?”

The brunette cracked a small smile, pushing some of Robin’s blonde hair from her face. “Nothing anymore,” she reassured. “You called me your love,” she noted.

“I guess I did,” Robin agreed with a soft, lopsided smile. “If you’re okay, can we go inside, please? It’s freezing out here.”

Nancy nodded, standing up from the bench she had sat herself down on and brushing herself off. “Not back to the party, though. Back to my room.”
