Today’s meditation was longer than my typical 30 minutes. I set my Insight Timer for 45 minutes but forgot to turn the sound on and went over 5 minutes. I like to do a longer meditation every once in a while. The first part was moving between Monkey Mind and Quiet Mind, and then Quiet Mind settled in. Feeling the tide, noticing its qualities. Is it really water? Or is it energy? Or does water carry the energy, or energy charge the water? Don’t know. About a third of our body’s fluids is outside of our cells and is called extracellular fluid. That it has a regular rhythm, moving up and down the central channel, makes it a tide. My mind got very quiet and then I noticed the tide moving much more slowly and irregularly, as if checking my system out. This is the inherent healing process at work. It slowly made its way to my head and I felt radiance in my face, with third eye chakra energized. I don’t really remember what else happened, except toward the end, I experienced three cranial nods, something craniosacral therapists are familiar with. They happen when you get so relaxed while giving a session that you start to fall asleep. Your head nods, which wakes you up! So let’s try it together: Breath deeply in through your nostrils to the count of four and witness; Hold that breath in your belly to the count of four; Witness the breath effortlessly moving back up your chest, into your throat, and back out of your nostrils to the count of four; And now hold that breath out to the count of four; And now breathe normally. Start every morning with the intention that you will show up for yourself. ✨
Show yourself gratitude. Show yourself love. Show yourself grace. Open up your mind, body, and soul. You are the one who gets to create the day you want. You are the one who gets to find your inner peace.
It’s a new week. It’s a fresh start. It’s the perfect time to create your goals, routines and intentions for the week ahead.
This morning consisted of:
🌼 10 minute morning stretches with @madymorrison.
🌼 10 minute morning yoga back stretches with @yogawithbird.
🌼 7 minute guided meditation on @insighttimer - “Create A Beautiful Day” with Djenaba Kai Jones.
🌼 Journaling my thoughts, intentions, and goals for the day.
The biggest thing you can do for yourself is to show up. No matter how that looks for you because it will look different for everyone. To some what I did this morning isn’t much, but to me, it’s enough. There is nothing like stretching and opening up your body before starting your day. There is nothing like meditating, releasing negative thoughts, setting your intentions, opening your mind + soul and being able to create a beautiful start to your day.
Be here.
Be present.
Be mindful.
Be grateful.
Be positive.
Be kind.
Be YOU.

As a little bit of history, my craft shop MoonLace Studio started in-person in 2019 and on Etsy in 2020. Then, I decided to expand it into a livestream tarot-reading business in 2021 using my spiritual name as a pseudonym. I formed the LLC in 2022, and it has grown into my full-time occupation, really finding its shape in 2023.
