A small sigh leaves my lips as my door bell rings again, with a small groan I get up and walk to my door opening it. As soon as the door is opened all the way I make eye contact with an old friend causing my eyebrows to furrow.

"carlisle? why are you- sorry that's rude, is everything okay?"

A small chuckle leaves his lip as he shrugs "i need some help, can we have a chat?"

I nod and open the move out of the way allowing him to enter my home, I lead him into my living room where he takes a seat on my couch. I sit on the chair across from him as worry slowly overtakes my mind "carlisle? what is it? what's going on?"

He looks at me and asks "you know Edward right?" earning a nod from me "well...he recently got married, to a human..."

My eyes widen "what? why- wait why am i needed?"

He sighs and continues "she wound up pregnant on the honey moon and had the baby a few days ago, we turned her shortly after the birth but the volturi have caught wind of the child and are coming after her."

My heart sinks "and your planning on fighting them?"

He shakes his head no "not if we don't have to...you see- they think she is a immortal child but she has already grown. she looks to be around 10 now, she's actually only a few weeks old...were hoping we can prove to them that she isn't a threat to our kind without a fight but we need witnesses and just in case people who are willing to fight for her..."

I nod and take a deep breath while letting my gaze drift to the fireplace in my living room, on the mantle of it rests a bunch of old pictures...I slowly zone out on the picture of my son and my husband playing...

-FLASHBACK-

I look up when I hear laughing, a smile forms on my face as I see Jasper chasing James. I set the dish down and wipe my hands off on my dress skirt before making my way outside.

As i'm about to walk out the door I grab our camera and continue out. I snap a few pictures of my boys as they play around with each other. I set them on the rail of our porch and admire them, as I get lost in my thoughts I feel arms wrap around me causing me to jump

I look up and see Jasper looking back at me with a smile "well hello their darlin' "

I smile and turn around in his arms "hi cowboy" I say earning a chuckle from Jasper, he kisses my forehead then my nose and finally my lips before I hear a small southern accent yell out "mama!" I look down as his small arms wrap around my skirt

I smile and lean down picking him up as he cuddles close to me, I turn back around admiring the view as I lean back against my husband wondering how I got so lucky

-FLASHBACK OVER-

I snap out of the memory and wipe my eyes quickly when I hear Carlisle say my name again. I look up at him "i'll help..."

He smiles softly and gets up walking over to me and gently hugging me "my family thanks you...i'll wait for you to get a bag packed okay?"

I nod hugging back for a moment before getting up and heading up to my room and grabbing a bag, as I throw things into the bag and go through my closet my eyes land on an old photo album.

With shaky hands I grab it and walk back over to my bed and sit down. As I open the album tears immediately spring in my eyes as I see my old wedding photos, I continue going through the album when Carlisle comes into the room "everything okay?"

My head snaps up and I nod as he walks over and sits next to me, his eyes land on a 15 year old version of me holding a newborn baby, he looks back at me "is that..?"

I take a deep breath and nod before closing the book and placing it in my bag "my son...james.."

He watches me with pity in his eyes as I zip my bag and sling it over my shoulder, we both make our way downstairs and out to his car. As I get situated Carlisle glances over at me before staring forward again and starting the car, his mind was stuck on the picture of the baby, he looked so familiar but he just couldn't put his finger on why...

-TIME SKIP A FEW HOURS-

After a long dreamless nap I feel myself being shaken awake, I open my eyes and look over at Carlisle "were here"

I nod and stretch slightly before glancing around, i'm amazed at the beautiful house and all of the greenery, when I go to tell Carlisle my thoughts five people make their way out of the house

I sigh and get out of the car, Carlisle gets my bag out of the back seat as the child along with Edward and i'm guessing his wife approach me. I smile at Edward who smiles back

My eyes land on the child who is staring at me obviously confused, I slowly kneel down in front of her and smile "well hello there...i'm y/n what's your name sweetheart?"

She smiles back while giggling softly "i'm renesme...your accent is very pretty"

I smile and giggle softly as well "thank you" she makes eye contact with me and cups my face softly causing me to flinch slightly before allowing her to do whatever it is

My eyes widen slightly before allowing them to flutter close as I watch her memories. After a minute I open my eyes and look at her with amazement "you, young lady have an extraordinary gift..."

She smiles and looks back at her parents who are also smiling, she looks back at me with a confused look again "what are you?"

I giggle and stand up "i'm a hybrid...vampire and super soldier"

Her eyes widen and she looks back at her parents again, Edward nods and chuckles softly at her look of surprise, the door opens again and I look up to see a short dark haired girl who is smiling and makes her way down to us. "hi! i'm alice!"

I smile softly at her and make a noise of surprise when she pulls me into a hug "oh- hi! i'm y/n"

A giggle leaves her lips as she pulls back "i know, i can see the future. we are gonna get along well"

I nod and smile as she grabs my hand and leads me into the house...the house that is full of vampires...my nerves spike as I glance around making eye contact with random red eyes before my eyes land on a pair of wide yellow eyes

-FLASHBACK A FEW HOURS-

JASPERS POV

As I sit on the couch watching as Renesme introduces herself and shows her memories to all the vampires who are arriving, I hear a small gasp and my eyes snap over to Alice who is frozen. Me and Thomas make our way over to her with concern

She snaps out of it and looks at me as a large smile graces her face "your wife...she's alive..."

I stare at her confused "what?"

She continues smiling "she's alive and- and she is gonna be here soon to help. your gonna get your wife back jasper..."

Before I could say anything she walks away leaving me confused

-FLASHBACK OVER-

Y/N POV

As I take in his face and slowly realize who i'm staring at Alice smiles squeezes my hand and whispers "go...go see your husband"

I don't say anything and nod before slowly weaving my way through the crowd towards the person I thought I would never see again, the man i've loved since 1858

I stop in front of him and look up at him as tears slowly make their way down my cheeks "my jasper..."

All the sudden my feet leave the ground and i'm being pressed against his cold body. My arms wrap around his neck as my legs wrap around his waist

The feeling of being in my husbands arms after so long brings the most amount of comfort i've felt in a long time...a comfort that I can only hope is permanent...

Story time with the evil trio

“So kid” the blonde man starts a conversation after half an hour silence while walking to the train station “what’s your name?”

“Y/n” you answer with your head constantly looking behind you, scared that at any moment your freedom would be taken away from you

The boat ride had been fairly silent but the walk and waiting for the train had sparked curiosity in the three.

“That’s a cute name” the woman compliments and you smile slightly “I’m Victoria and this is my mate James, and that’s Laurent”

“Mate?” You ask, unfamiliar with the term “like a friend?”

James laughs and the other two join in. They soon realise that your not joking and look confused.

“How much did your coven tell you” he asked curiously “actually, how old are you?”

“Are you a newborn?” Victoria joins in with a hint of excitement

“No I was turned nearly three hundred years ago” you correct

“And you don’t know about mates?” Laurent asked confused, you shook your head

“Those cullens must have kept you under lock and key huh?” James scoffs out “a mate is someone who you are with for the rest of eternity, someone you love and feel like you share a soul with”

“Do I have one?” You ask with a small bit of excitement building up

“You tell me” James chuckles out “do you love anybody enough to spend your eternal life with?”

An image of Brad flashes in your mind, that was just a crush though. You barely knew him let alone loved him, that didn’t mean you didn’t mourn him. You shook your head sadly

“You’ll find one kid” James reassures as he ruffles your hair

Your train comes and you all get on and find a booth seat. You sat next to Victoria as she curiously looks at you.

“So tell us” Laurent asks “how did you end up in the cullens clutches”

You let out a sigh as you look out the window at your yellow eyes before looking back

“Carlisle forcibly turned me after he killed my family” you let out with anger “he kept me locked up as he added more to the sick family he wanted”

They all looked stunned but chose to not interrupt your story and looked at you for more

“They force me to have no contact with others and if I do they kill them and then punish me” you feel yourself clenching your fist “they force me to look and act childishly as they all use me as they’re personal doll, If I fight back they starve and beat me”

“Oh sweetheart” Victoria coos out as she rubs your hand soothingly

“If your only taking me to kill me or to use me for my power, I don’t care” you confessed with slight desperation “please just don’t send me back there”

“While I admit your power will be useful for us, we have bigger plans for you” James admits with a smile “for now you can tag along with us and we’ll teach you the ways of a vampire, not a vegetarian”

“Have you drank from a human before?” Victoria asked almost gently

You remembered a time with Caius back when you lived with the volturi. He had offered you a human girl to drink from, you were hesitant at first but after he had told you it would make you stronger you didn’t care. You nodded and Victoria smiled

“So you know how to hunt humans” James asks and you shake your head “well, we can teach you”

“Thank you” you said gratefully

“Your not morally outraged about hunting them or anything are you?” Victoria giggles as she leans on you affectionately

“No” you confessed “I envy them, it makes it easier to forget they’re people”

“Envy them? Why would you do that?” Laurent asks amused “we’re the strongest beings to walk the earth and they are defenceless and weak”

“But they’re free” you correct sadly

“We’ll teach you that being a vampire is the most freeing thing in the world” Laurent answers “when your not being held back”

“You could be very powerful if given the chance” James nods while confirming

“You’ll see” Victoria says excitedly “we’ll make you one of the scariest, powerful and free vampire the cullens could never hurt again”

The train jerks as it stops slightly before starting again as you looked for signs curiously

“Where are we going” you ask and the rest laugh

“We’re going to Seattle” James answers “and we’re gonna need to get lunch soon”

You nod and look out the window. You feel slightly at ease with these people, even though they talk about killing humans.

You felt joy, something you hadn’t felt in a long time.

A Jasper Hale x Reader Oneshot

Someone force me to finish chapter 5 before I write more Oneshots god bless.

Warnings: a bit angsty? But also fluffy.

They had known each other for a long time.

He was still human when he got to know her. His eyes were still shining with his young innocence, his body was not ridden with scars.

But most importantly, his heart was still beating.

When he had to leave for the war, he felt terrible for leaving her behind.

He had promised her to write her letters whenever he can, to keep her informed on how he’s doing, if he’s alright, and most importantly to him, to let her know that he still loves her.

To prove his commitment, he had given her a ring. A ring as a promise he will return.

And once he’s back he’ll make her his wife.

And he kept that promise for two years.

His letters had mentioned how he focused his work on saving and evacuating women and children, leaving him riding across the state to make sure everyone was safe.

His letters had also told her about his progress, how he had become the youngest major in the army, even when considering how he had lied about his age to get into the army in the first place.

But it was one letter that broke her heart.

It had arrived in the evening, two weeks after his last letter.

She had been happy, until she saw the expression of the mail carrier.

The man looked sad, almost sorry for her.

And when she finally opened the letter and read through it, her world shattered. Her hand clutched the ring she wore on a necklace, the ring he gave her before he left.

He died.

At least, that’s what the letter told her.

The army expressed their condolences, telling her how sorry they were for having to tell her that Major Jasper Whitlock went missing and presumably died in the war.

Her reaction was conflicted.

She wanted to scream, cry, rip the letter apart, curse whoever was listening and caused this fate for them.

But she didn’t.

Instead she just kept clutching the ring and read the letter over and over again, hoping that this was just some sick joke. That someone just wanted to see her suffer, maybe the mail carrier, maybe someone else.

But even after two more weeks, no new letter arrived.

And she had to accept that it was true.

Jasper had died, the love of her life was dead.

And she was left alone. Unable to even visit a grave, unable to know where he went missing, what he felt, if he had been in pain before it was all over.

And it broke her.

The big unknown broke her.

And in her grief ridden state she decided that it couldn’t be true.

She was in denial, she was angry and in denial.

Her future with the man she loved was ripped away under her feet, and it made her incredibly angry.

So she decided to take her horse and ride to the last position his letters had told her he’d be.

But she couldn’t have expected what would happen to her.

Never in over a hundred years could she have seen this outcome.

Jasper Hale, formerly known as Jasper Whitlock, had been living with the Cullens for a few decades now.

He had gotten to know Alice, who turned out to be a great friend to him.

Thanks to her he managed to cope with the fact he never got to see her again, that she had probably died a long time ago.

And especially that he never got to keep his promise.

But it still hurt, of course it hurt.

In this immortal existence, knowing that he lost his love to time while he was stuck in this stupid army, forced to hurt people despite knowing how they felt, forced to follow the orders of the woman, the monster, who changed him and made him like her.

It all hurt so much.

And going to school over and over again, living amongst humans, pretending that he’s normal, that he’s fine and that he’s human, while having to constantly ignore just how everything hurt without her near.

His thirst was nothing compared to the constant pain of not having his love with him.

She wasn’t sure how much time had passed since everything changed, since she was told Jasper had died and she decided to search for him.

But she knew that something was drawing her to this small town, Forks.

She had quickly learned how to cope with her new… abilities. Especially with this near-constant burning in her throat that told her she needed to feed.

She had quickly learned that she could feed on animals and avoid hurting people. And she was glad it worked.

When she arrived in Forks, she felt lost. It was a new town for her, for someone who had been wandering on their own for years.

But she felt like something important was awaiting her.

And when she wandered through the forest, trying to avoid the weird smell of dog nearby, she found a house.

She hesitated, what if whoever lived in this surprisingly big and beautiful house in the middle of the forest wasn’t happy with spontaneous visitors.

But something was still drawing her near, as if something in her mind wanted her to enter and see who or what was inside.

Only when a man who looked like he had seen centuries of history stepped outside the house and welcomed her in was when she started moving again.

Reluctantly, she stepped closer, and finally saw a short, pixie-like girl standing behind the man.

”I‘m Alice! I knew you’d come here! Come inside, there is someone you should see!“

And if her heart was still beating, she was sure it would be racing right when she saw him.

When he saw her, his eyes widened and he felt like his words were stuck in his throat.

”D-Darlin‘…?“

”Hello Major.“

As soon as he heard her voice, sensed her emotions, and saw how she looked almost exactly like he remembered, he rushed to her side and pulled her into a tight hug.

”I thought I lost you… so long ago…“ the words were barely loud enough, but she was still able to hear them. And with how he sounded she was sure he’d be crying if it was physically possible.

And she wasn’t fooling anyone, she’d also be crying if she could.

Unable to restrain himself, Jasper pulled away from the embrace just enough to cup her face and pull her in a long overdue kiss.

And it felt like they hadn’t been apart at all, like the past decades of pain just started to disappear.

And he was so happy for the first time in years.

Once they pulled away and finally got to properly look at each other, Jasper’s eyes wandered and he saw the ring he had given her all those years ago. It was attached to a necklace and sat near her heart.

When she noticed where he looked, she smiled and gently cupped his cheek with her hand.

She chose to ignore the scars littered across his neck and jawline, deciding that there were better times to speak about what happened while they were apart, especially now that they have more than enough time together.

He practically melted into her touch, leaning against her hand as if he was afraid she would vanish before his eyes, like this was just an illusion and he was being tricked.

His own hand went to hers, holding it against his scarred cheek to keep her close, to keep enjoying her touch.

”you still have the ring“ he whispered, his golden eyes finding hers.

”and you still have a promise to keep,“ she smiled, ”but I think we have a lot to speak about first, before we take any big steps.“

And he was certain he would keep his promise, but at first they both had a lot of time to make up for.

old habits | one-shot.

Requested: The jasper x reader fluff is them spending their first Christmas with each other as newly weds and the reader as a new vampire

Pairing: Jasper Hale (Cullen) x fem!reader

Hunting at night became a habit for Jasper. He never really thought about it before but then he fell subject to what the Cullens affectionately dubbed “Swan Syndrome”. Just like Bella and Edward, Jasper’s mate was human. He was the least accustomed to the “vegetarian” lifestyle and your blood drove him wild. He didn’t want to risk harming you so Jasper made sure that he was always full whenever you came around. It turned into him hunting at night since he didn’t sleep but you did. It became a habit.

Even after a fatal car accident made Carlisle turn you, Jasper still hunted at night. You had only been turned for a few months, immediately being fed animal blood so you didn’t even have a chance to thirst. But a few months wasn’t long enough to kick the habit that the old vampire had developed. Jasper still hunted at night. You never went with him, not seeing much fun in it.

You decided, while he was out, to surprise your husband. The title of husband was new. After turning, Jasper immediately proposed and you got married shortly after. He was hesitant to do so beforehand because he didn’t want marriage to pressure you into thinking that you had to turn into a vampire. Now, you two loved calling each other husband and wife.

You were decorating your house for Christmas. Emmett had dragged in the tree for your out of habit, despite the fact that the newborn you could do it. Jasper came back to a house that smelled amazing and was covered in lights. You heard him before he even reached the door. Jasper grunted when you crashed into him.

“Woah, woah, ma’am, you’re stronger than me right now.”

You giggled, bringing him in for a kiss. “I decorated the house for Christmas.”

“I can see that… did you bake cookies?”

You shrugged. “Force of habit. I also had Edward move all the presents underneath the tree. Don’t worry, I didn’t peek.”

He gave you a look like he didn’t believe you as the two of you walked inside. Jasper had spent many holidays on Earth but this was possibly his favorite Christmas to date.

You walk down the stairs and see the guests beginning to pile in along the altar. You exit the house and begin making your way towards your plus one for the evening.

*Rosalie’s POV* You turn to the sound of footsteps getting louder to you as you watch Y/n walk up to you, hands in her pockets, a small smile upon her face as she comes up to you.

“You look amazing,” She smiles

She swoops her hand to take yours as she brings them up to her lips, a kiss being placed on the back of your hand.

“Didn’t know your girlfriend was such a gentle-woman, Rosalie,” The person Rosalie was taking to speaks

“O-Oh! Y/n is just-” You try to dull down the attention

“With her, always,” She says, swinging her arm around your shoulder

You weren’t sure whether you wanted none of the attention you were getting or you wanted Y/n to continue her flirtatious scheme.

“How long have you two known each other?” One of the party goers asks

“Since the start of high school,” Y/n answers

“Wow and... Rosalie you didn’t fall for her or anything?” They ask

“It’s complicated,” You say

“Complicated?” They ask

“Long story,” Y/n says

“Well, we have all reception to tell me all about it,” They smile

Your mouth hangs open as you and Y/n most likely try to come up with an excuse to not tell your complicated story to the wedding attendee.

“Everyone’s piling in Rose, shall we take a seat?” Y/n clears her throat, gesturing to the

You take note of the people beginning to seat themselves. you follow Y/n to the front of the altar where your family was seating themselves.

“After you,” She gestures a pathway for you

“Thank you,” You slightly chuckle, taking the seat next to Jasper

As the pastor gave introduction, you didn’t pay attention to any of it. You mostly pictured yourself in Bella’s position. As well as Y/n in yours. But, you were quick to shake the thought away.

Y/n is only a college freshman... She has a life ahead of her... But... I want to be apart of it...

You stop all thoughts when you feel a gentle squeeze. You knew that touch; none other than Y/n’s. But, you don’t turn to look at her out of fear of having attention being dragged to you.

“You okay?” Y/n’s whisper trickles against the shell of your ear, “Your leg’s shaking a lot...”

You nod.

Not about to tell you that I’m picturing us up there...

“You sure?” She whispers again

You nod again.

The entire time both Bella and Edward were exchanging vows, you couldn’t stop thinking about Y/n’s warm hand resting against the top of your knee: in an attempt to keep your leg from shaking. But, the fact was that it was Y/n’s hand that wouldn’t make it stop.

“I pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride,” The wedding official announces

You watch Edward share his first dance with Bella. It took you back to your first three dances with Y/n.

“I miss those,” You confess to Y/n

“Miss what?” She asks

“That,” You gesture to Edward and Bella

“Oh... That...” She sighs, “Me... Too...”

You caught how low Y/n’s voice was after she confessed that she also missed those dances with you. You smile to yourself as your attention goes back to the two lovebirds finishing their first dance.

*Y/n’s POV* You watch Edward reach out for Rosalie as she stands to

“Would you like to dance?” You ask, holding your hand out to a seated Rosalie

She looks at your hand first and then up to you.

“I never... Uhh....” You try to piece together words, “Had gotten to go to Senior Prom because of my early college classes.... So... I don’t know if I’ve properly asked you for a dance.”

Her lips curve into a smile as she raises her hand to yours. You grasp her palm with your fingers and gently tug her up and out of her chair. Her eyes never leaving yours as the both of you head to the dance floor.

“I... also missed out on prom,” Rosalie confesses as she sways with you

“You did?” You ask, “I thought you’d be going with the football team’s quarterback or something.”

You only said the last sentence as a joke but Rosalie doesn’t smile when you compose yourself.

“I see,” You sigh, “Sorry...”

“Your friends were energetic though. Don’t know how you tolerate them,” Rosalie smiles

“That’s friends who ship us for you,” You sigh, “Even now..”

“Is that so?” She asks

“Yeah,” You sadly confess

“Do you miss them?” She asks

“I do, but it’s also nice to not be around them 24/7,” You say, “But, I’m still in contact with them.”

“Must be nice to have friends you grow up with,” Rosalie sighs in sadness

You were going to ask why she didn't have friends of her own but then you remember.

I forget Rosalie is a vampire and all of the friends she would make would die eventually...

“I see,” you sigh

You look over to see how much Jasper and Alice were making an effort to impress people...

Or it’s just the way they simply dance...

A light gasp leave Rosalie’s mouth as you press your hand into her back firmer as you take a step toward the center of the dance floor: spinning in the process.

“Y-Y/n, what are you?!-”

Rosalie’s arms curl around your neck as you dip her.

“Ease up Rosalie,” You smile bringing her back onto her feet

“Sorry, a little warning next time,” She smiles

“Oh if you had a heart, it’d be beating really hard right now,” You whisper into her ear

*Rosalie’s POV* And she was right... Although you physically no longer have any internal organs nerves and such, you could feel the sincerity in her voice.

“You alright?” She asks, “You seem a little... Out of breath.”

“Yeah,” You lie, “I’m fine.”

The both of you were slowly tightening each others’ grip as the night slowly progressed.

“Y/n,” Edward taps her shoulder

She lift her head from yours and looks at him.

“May I have a dance with Rosalie?” He asks, smiling

She nods as she takes a step back, gently grabbing at your forearms. You kept them in place for a moment before you made yourself let go in order to entertain Edward and dance with him.

You watch her walk to the food table: bringing back a small plate back to her seat at the table. She smiles when she catches your gaze. You attempt to hide a smile as your attention goes back to Edward’s shoulder.

“You’re in love with Y/n,” Edward reads your mind

“So what?” You try to hide it

“Why haven’t you guys officiated the relationship yet?” He asks

You were trying to come up with an excuse...

“I see,” He reads your mind again

“Will you stop poking around in my head?!” You hush your own voice

“Your thoughts are quite loud when they come to Y/n,” He chuckles

Edward turns his head and see Alice, holding her hand out to him. He lets you loose and you make your way back over to Y/n, still sitting at the table.

“How did it go?”She asks

“It was fine,” You answer, not willing to bring up your short conversation with Edward

“What were you two talking about over there?” She asks

“Just his plans for his honeymoon,” You lie

She nods along to your little white lie.

“Hey when you're done, would you want to dance again?” You ask

A slight smile treks across her face as se gently nods.

*Y/n’s POV* You don't waste any more time as Rosalie leads you to the dance floor again.

You lift your head to look around to which there was a minimal amount of people left. However, you didn’t care. You wanted to make up for the prom you never got to have.

“Rosalie,” Alice leans into her

Rosalie takes her head off of your shoulder to look at her.

“Bella and Edward are going to leave for their honeymoon,” She says, before turning to walk off with Jasper

Rosalie turns her head back to you, “I don’t want to let go...”

“It’s not like I’m going back to Seattle as soon as they leave,” You smile, “Come on, let’s go see the two off.”

As reluctant as she was she runs her arms down to your forearms, one traveling lower to your hand as you lead her to the front of the house.

Blood Stained Guilt

Pairing: Rosalie Hale x Reader Warnings: Blood, cuts, guilt, talk of death (But no one dies) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It seemed like it was in slow motion once Bella had gotten a papercut. Everyone’s eyes were on you as you stared at the blood dripping from her finger. You tried desperately to ignore it but the more it came out the more you got tempted.

Eventually, you lost control. With full force, you went towards Bella causing Edward to push her back into the table with a bunch of glass on it. Rosalie without a second thought went to grab you before you did something you regret.

You couldn’t recognize yourself as the monster inside you gained control. You tried to break free from Rosalie but Emmitte came and helped her hold you down.

The force that Edward threw Bella caused the glass to shatter and her arm to get cut open making there be so much blood.

Rosalie stood in front of you holding your face trying to get you to snap out of it but it wasn’t working. Carlisle went to help Bella after ordering Rose to get you out of there.

She took you to the woods for a way where the smell of blood faded.

You stood by a waterfall staring at the sky as you thought about what you almost did.

Rosalie walked up behind you while wrapping her arms around your waist.

“It was not your fault. We all had a moment of weakness. You are new to this. It will get easier.” she assures with a soft voice that is only reserved for you. Even with her words you couldn’t help but feel guilty. You don’t know what you would have done if you hurt Bella.

She was like a sister to you and because you couldn’t control yourself you almost lost her.

You weren’t sure how you were going to face them again.

Rosalie could sense your fear and she sighed into your neck. She thought for a moment before she thought of something.

“Let’s go away for a while my love. I’m sure they wouldn’t mind, even if they do I don’t care. Just me and you.” You looked at your wife hesitantly. The idea sounded amazing but you didn’t want to run from your problems. Rose frowned as you hesitated to answer. She didn’t really care about Bella but that didn’t mean she wanted her to get hurt. Plus seeing the guilt written all over your face made her upset. She wanted to pull you away from everything and everyone.

“Just for a while, y/n. Not long. Please?” she was practically begging at this point.

It has been a while since you both had some alone time. With a small smile, you looked back at the sky.

“Of course, Rosie. Just for a little.” Hopefully, after your trip, you would feel a little better. Maybe then you could face your family.

Request: Maybe a volturi!reader x Jasper? The reader knew Carlisle when he was with the Volturi and years later leaves to join the Cullens and their life style. Thank you!

I walk into the throne room on this fine Sunday evening.

“Good evening, (Y/N). What brings you into the throne room this evening?” Aro asks with a smile.

“It’s a pleasure to see you all. I just would like to speak with you on my… living arrangements.” I look between the faces of Marcus, Caius, and Aro.

“Ah, I remember. I remember we spoke of you moving in with our dear old friend, Carlisle. Is that what you still wish to do?” Aro speaks with a small smile.

“It is. I have spoken to Carlisle about the matter, it is what I wish to do.” I return the small smile.

“Very well, you may go.” Aro smiles.

“Thank you.” I nod before walking up to my room to pack all my things.

“Such a shame.” I hear Aro say as I walk out of the room, Caius and Marcus agreeing silently.

I ignore their words. I just think about how thankful I am that Aro doesn’t hold too much value for me and my power. He truly was more interested in me as a number, I believe.

I tidied my room, made my bed, and folded my robe. I place the folded, soft black material at the edge of my bed before swiftly exiting my room.

I walk out of the castle, refusing to turn around even once.

I swam to Forks, never once looking back. I knew I didn’t need to tell Carlisle about my arrival, as Alice would expect me.

I follow the scent to find the beautiful home they called their own.

“Hello, (Y/N). Welcome to my home.” Carlisle beamed from the front steps, his arm around a beautiful woman I assume to be his wife Esme.

“Thank you. I’m very grateful to be here.” I smile.

“We’re happy to have you. This is my wife, Esme.” He introduces us.

She welcomes me with a warm hug, something I wasn’t used to. Living in the Volturi castle was cold. Already, I feel a sense of relief. I feel like a burden was lifted off my shoulders.

They bring me inside, introducing me to the rest of their family.

Alice was a tiny woman, absolute joy and happiness radiating off of her. She smiled at me and pulled me into a tight hug. She told me that she couldn’t wait to meet me, how we would be the best of friends.

Emmett and Rosalie were mates, an absolutely stunning couple. Her beauty held no bounds, but she seemed distrustful of my presence. She remained polite and friendly, but her feelings seeped through. Her large husband was smiling at me, his presence was more lighthearted. Both of them smiling and introducing themselves.

Edward was a bit more reserved, as well. He was friendly in nature though quiet. I knew he was able to read my mind, so that was going to be something to get used to.

That’s when I met eyes with Jasper. It felt like my whole world turned upside down. Our eyes unwavering from one another. Had I finally found my mate?

“It’s nice to finally meet you.” He whispers with a soft smile, reaching his hand out.

“You as well.” I return the smile, reaching my hand out to his.

He presses a soft kiss to the back of my hand, making my dead heart flutter.

“I look forward to spending some time with you, (Y/N).” His beautiful voice echoes throughout my ears.

His golden eyes met my red ones, sending shivers up my spine. Soon, my eyes would be golden

I knew that I made the right choice, this was the life I was meant to live.

“I look forward to spending time with you as well.” I smile at him.

The lovely @fatiguing-thoughts gave me a Jasper request and I had to write it the last Jasper fic I read on here made me sad so imma write this! The prompt was that the Cullens take bets on what the gender of baby is! I decided to do a baby shower scene so please enjoy this fluff!!

Jasper Hale x Preggers Reader

Lowkey this a prequel to my other Jasper fic with a pregnant reader!

When you and Jasper had found out you were pregnant you were both terrified after what happened with Bella but it turns out you were fine!

You were glowing in pregnancy glow and honestly were living the best life a pregnant woman could but of course you had to add the whole drinking blood thing but you got creative with it and added fruits and other healthy things to not make it as bad

When the talk of the babies gender came you and Jasper had wanted to keep it a secret but the Cullens begged y’all to find out and tell them

But then you and Jasper decided to mess with them, Alice eagerly agreed to throw a baby shower just for you and the Cullens it would be small but that didn’t matter to you or Jas you were just happy to celebrate the life of your child

You two had decided that Carsile would take the gender test and then send it to someone to make surprise balloons in a box and with either cowgirl boots or cowboy boots

When the shower happened it was so funny watching the Cullens argue about the gender

Emmett: “I’m telling you Rose it’s going to be a boy we gotta have a boy around here”

Rose: “Oh please Emmett it’s obvious that it’s a girl I mean come on I just have feeling that’s it’s a girl”

Esme: “Children please we both know that it’s a boy”

Carsile: “I apologize my Dear wife but we will definitely have another granddaughter here”

Alice: “Look at her she looks just like Bella did when she pregnant I don’t need my future vision to see that’s it’s a girl”

Emmett: “Yeah right Alice! Y/n is practically glowing Bella looked half dead when she was pregnant!”

Bella: “Watch it Emmett or I’ll change to team pink”

It was hilarious watching the 100+ year old arguing over the gender

The house was covered in blue and pink decorations and each Cullen was wearing the color of the gender of the baby they thought it would be

You and Jasper were off to the side watching the commotion you were dressed in a white flowy dress with that showed off the bump but still allowed you breathe and move around in with some simple sandals and of course Jasper had a white button up with jeans and cowboy boots on

You leaned over to your husband

Y/n: “what gender do you want a little cowboy or cowgirl?”

Jasper: “Darlin as long as it’s healthy I don’t care”

Y/n: “Bullshit what do you want honestly?”

Jasper: “Well a little cowboy would be nice”

Y/n: “Yeah that’s what I thought and how funny is that I would like a little cowboy as well”

Alice: “Alright alright enough Y/n Jasper dont make us wait any long come open the box!!!”

You and Jasper walked to the front of the room where the box was everyone gathered around you

On a count down to three you and Jasper both reached down and grasp a side of the box and when it came off...
