I'm writting a DPXDC fanfic, which is Constantine centric and sorta trying to mimic the vibes from Hellblazer. So far it's just him pinning and yearning and feeling more guilt than the average catholic, while reseaching weird things that have been happening (It's Danny).
I'm going to do some small, background Dead on Main because I love them. There is going to be a little of Constantine/Zatanna, but they don't get together.
I'm thinking of calling it What thing worthy of love can be found in me? Thoughts?

"If Jesus died for our sins then why would we go to hell ourselves and pay ofr them again? If Jesus' sacrifice is unworthy, then why should we care that he died for our sins? His sacrifice means nothing at all."
You can't have it both ways. Either they're paid or they're not. If they are, we don't need to do anything. If they're not, then he failed and why do we owe him anything? Especially lumbering us with a debt nobody agreed to. It's not a "sacrifice" or a "gift" if he expects to be paid back with the threat of hellfire. That's the tactic of an extortionist.

65 million years ago, the dinosaurs died, and their bones slowly turned into fossil fuels. These fossil fuels are used to power your electricity and fuel your online shenanigans.
Remember to thank the dinosaurs who died for your furry porn ane ESex sessions. You know who you are. The dinosaurs gave you the ability to do that. The dinosaurs caused Vore.

The Rebel's Final Yell
I do not fight without a cause
I fight to protect
Till the very end
Because it's who I am
And now that you see me
As my knees buckle under the weight of life and the waiting embrace of Death
Please don't leave me here
Please don't let me be forgotten
Please don't let me die
*****
The Rebel's Final Yell
Echoes on for ages
For anyone who will listen
Surely
His last shout at the Devil
Will be the one that matters most
*****
I leave you today with a question
I may never find the answer to
Are our deaths really ours?

"The Law’s purpose is to promote personal and societal flourishing. Just as a loving parent lays down ground rules for his child to follow to lead a safe and successful life, God the Father gave us the Ten Commandments to help us lead our best lives with regard to our relationship with Him and our relationship with each other. The first four Commandments deal with our relationship with God, and the last six Commandments deal with our relationship with one another. The New Testament affirms that the Ten Commandments are still essential laws that should govern a Christian’s life today. The Ten Commandments serve not only as a moral code of conduct for today’s Christian but as a stark reminder that we are all in need of a Savior because no one can perfectly abide by all of the Commandments all of the time."

Oh yeah, you just know this kind of campaign for Christ is going to save a lot of souls. At least along Haight Ashbury. Sadly you've just significantly reduced the air quality of heaven when those unwashed hippies get there.

that post about "the only good jew is a dead jew" in regards to jesus specifically is so fuckin real. the only way christians will accept anything about their beliefs stemming from judaism and worship any of the people mentioned is if they die horribly at the hands of romans. its almost like a subtle indirect threat, or a dogwhistle even- the imagery they worship is of a dead jewish man on a cross, and then i can imagine them opening their eyes after prayer, smiling, and looking directly at their jewish friend, almost as a way to be like "if you step out of line, you're next".
