after every good week of research and being the bravest soldier, there comes the crash

I was still doing pretty well in the morning but then I came home and got completely discouraged by the useless stuff I had to do for one of my classes. the absolute basic level of knowledge I'm supposed to gather there is just annoying. that time would be better spent working on my actual thesis or even just going to the gym

so yeah. now I'm annoyed and frustrated and tomorrow I'll be bored at uni again. ugh. need to find something to go during the useless class

btw it was a tea king of a day, i chose some grape one that came from Czech Republic apparently ✨

Re-introduction

So it’s been roughly a year since I started this account, and a lot has changed since then, so I thought I’d reintroduce myself. This account used to be aroacestudyblr, but as you can see, I’ve changed it, for a multitude of reasons. I also plan to be more active here, but I’ve said that before and it hasn’t panned out, so we’ll see how we go.

weekend at my parent's house. had to do some studying along with socialising

packing for the (5h long) trip was kinda a mess. i forgot to pack my phone charger and then i realised that i should've taken my laptop instead of the tablet because i was supposed to make a presentation about software that i can't open on a tablet...

i managed to get the most important staff done so i'm happy about that.

eh, it's gonna be a busy couple of weeks

another one of those not so aesthetic posts

i've been down with a cold for this whole month. my ribs are sore from coughing. i'm trying to lay low for this last week. i don't really have a choice as my body made the decision for me

as i'm not feeling so terrible today, i'm trying to finish an online course about open data and then i have to finish writing a short assignment

i'm feeling very stressed because of my health, various personal issues and not doing enough for my phd research. i don't wanna disappoint anyone...

i'm a bit behind on the work but also not too stressed. today i'm working on a presentation for a wednesday class (you can see how serious it is under the cut)

i had a pretty productive day today ✨ got some research done and then went to the gym

my body is going through something this week but i try to stay consistent and just do some walking and light stretching

as for the work at the university, it's time to pick what i'll be teaching next year. i'm hoping to get the classes about the basics of psychology. i have a lot of nostalgia for them 🖤

unrelated, i need you all to know that i hate the time change so much. it messed up my sleeping schedule and i want to sleep all the time
