Literature: I’d have to say Harry Potter, I read it when I was 10 and it absolutely had a part in shaping who I am today

Hi!! I am so excited to be joining the studyblr community after following so many blogs for so long! I made this side blog in hopes that it would motivate me in my last semester of college, and as I prepare to apply for graduate schools. I am a senior History major and French minor. My main interest is 1800s travel history, but I also love comic book history and did a huge research project on it last summer. Feel free to message me if you ever want to talk Captain America!! A lot of studyblrs track tags. If you don’t know what this means - I certainly didn’t when I started my studyblr - this basically means you can add the tag to your posts and they will check it every now and then and usually reblog the posts with that tag.

There are a lot of studyblrs who do this and it can be hard to keep track of them all so I decided to make this post for everyone to use.

Hi, I’m Ed! 🌲🌲☕️🌌🌧

I’m making this blog in the hopes of keeping myself on track and improving my studying methods and habits because I am an a-class procrastinator, get overwhelmed about homework really easily and very often fall into avoidance patterns! So hopefully this will help me cope with that!

A Gmorning to help me through this hell of a day.

My linguistics midterm 100% fell right out of my brain. I guess I thought it was next week? It is not.

Paper due tomorrow that I ignored over break, trying not to beat myself up over it. Just get it done and learn from this for next time.

Missed a shop class and have to find an extra hour sometime in the next couple days to go in and finish orientation so I can work in class next week.

Pretty sure I've got the flu, lowkey because I got the shot, but still feeling like trash. Picked up some medication & ginger tablets after work yesterday though, so I can munch on grapes to my heart's content.

pooh’s book club: el túnel {5/10 books READ!}

i believe this is the first 1st-person narrative i have read in spanish, and i truly wonder if anything else will ever top it. i had zero expectations going into it, and was completely thrown for a loop as the plot was revealed. if a book can make me visibly and physically uncomfortable enough to exclaim my displeasure aloud, then that’s a good read for me.

web development and management major

born and raised (mostly) in new york, but NOT in nyc

i should be starting my junior year of college right now, but i took the past year off from school to work and figure out what i want to do, so i’m technically in my sophomore year

🍃 interests 🍃

music has always been my greatest love, you will rarely find me without headphones on (is it a coping mechanism who knows)

reading is a close second as i’m almost always reading something

i’ve always been interested in greek mythology with artemis and athena being my favorites, hence the name

i enjoy the company of animals more than people, so much so that i almost decided to study veterinary medicine!

i love writing even if i’m not the greatest at sitting down and actually writing

i’m currently teaching myself calligraphy and hand lettering which i’m really enjoying!

hello, all! i'm arlo, and i'm new to the studyblr community. i thought i'd make a little introduction post, so here we go!

i'm 15 (freshman in high school), and i'm in duel enrollment, so i'm taking college classes in addition to my high school ones.

i'll have an associates in arts by the time i graduate high school because of the duel enrollment program!

i live in the u.s.

i'm a ravenclaw!

i'd love to attend brown university or the university of michigan, or possibly study abroad in spain.

my current career plan is to become an english professor.

why did i make a studyblr?

now that i've started taking college classes, i need a lot more motivation for school.

i desperately need to improve my note taking skills.

i love learning new things, and a studyblr is a good way to organize what i learn!
