Donald Duck celebrates his birthday with his partner Gyro (Donro) and his nephews - Newton and Huey, Dewey and Louie as Sherlock and Watson in London (AU) - Gift for my friend

Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule, I didn't get there in time to finish what I wanted to, and I apologize for that. I also wanted to do something related to Donro Week, but unfortunately I was prevented, and I was busy. I certainly drew two drawings and am posting them and dedicated to my friend who loves these characters and who gave me these ideas, especially for Sherlock Holmes.

Yes, one drawing is related to Sherlock Holmes and it's an AU, in which Newton (Gyro's nephew) plays Sherlock, and Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie play Dr. Watson, the three Watsons. Yes, for those who don't know Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character and the main character of the detective novels of the same name who investigates many crimes together with his partner Dr. John H. Watson and inspired many to make many movies, series and cartoons about him. Of course, those detective novels were written by none other than the brilliant English (or rather Scottish) writer Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle. Newton and HDL are in London in outfits from the 19th century and investigate various mysteries and crimes. I also drew a background of London with Big Ben and a red London bus (although unfortunately it didn't work for me).

The second drawing is related to the celebration of Donald's birthday, which could be June 9, or March 13, or any Friday the 13th. Yes, Donald celebrates his birthday with his nephews and best friend and partner Gyro Gearloose, a genius inventor from Duckburg, although his inventions sometimes go awry. And there's Newton Gearloose, Gyro's mischievous nephew. Yes, I combined a bit from Italian comics, Ducktales 2017, Quack Pack and my head, in my own style in one place. Yes, HDL and Newton wear backwards hats, and Donald got a birthday cake with strawberries, as symbols of the beginning of summer. And that this is dedicated to Donro (the love gay couple between Donald and Gyro). Happy Belated Birthday Donald Duck!

Yes Sherlock Holmes AU is not mine, and these drawings are actually a gift for my friend @sikyurame, who designed this and who loves these characters and thank you for these inspirations and I agree we need more drawings of Donald and Gyro with their nephews. I hope you like these drawings.

Hey a question. So the 25 Lazarii miracle plume... 

Was I the only one who thought that this was Gabriel’s miracle? Or more specifically Gabriel’s power? Like yes, Aziraphale and Crowley did their little miracles to hide him from each side but they were holding hands with Gabriel and - he could have acted like a focus? If I understand correctly he is still angelic, just with no memories and the mind of a goldfish/puppy. He was (maybe subconsciously) trying to help! It’s so specific how everyone talks about only a supremely powerful archangel being able to do such a big miracle, and that plume is exactly the same color as Gabriel’s eyes. That’s an awfully big coincidence/filmmaking choice to also just happen to be an ineffable duo color... even if we do assume they are red + blue... or even a general miracle color. (Side note - did miracles in the first season ever have a color?) The funny part in this case is that the angels are looking right at a Gabriel powered miracle and not seeing that fact... because it worked. Just like when they turn up at the bookshop and can’t perceive Jimbriel. On the other hand, I do love the theory that Aziraphale and Crowley are ridiculously powerful when combined. It’s cute and leads to further... interesting speculation. But that didn’t even occur to me until I read it after the fact. What say you?

Duckvember - Hypnotic and Crafty Duck

For some reasons I started late, but I hope to make up for it soon with even bigger surprises and better than last year.

The first drawing I drew was on the theme of Hypnotic Duck, so I drew a scene from the Darkwing Duck episode "Days of Blunder" in which Quackerjack, disguised as a psychiatrist and imitating Sigmund Freud, hypnotizes Darkwing Duck (Drake Mallard) that he is no longer a superhero, but a waiter who serves teapots. However, in the end, the opposite will happen.

The second drawing is dedicated to Vendetta Duck, since it's November 5th (though unfortunately I'm late in posting, but it's Guy Fawkes Night, only history buffs and those who know about Vendetta know about it) so I drew Vendetta with a duck mask. Or maybe it's a duck under that mask? Maybe Donald or Daffy? All in all, I drew a redraw of Vendetta with Parliament exploding with fireworks behind it, while Big Ben stands in London. By the way, Vendetta is a DC comic created in 1982 primarily by Alan Moore, David Lloyd, and Tony Weare, to be adapted into a movie in 2006 under the title "V for Vendetta". Yes, the movie and the Vendetta comics are not the same, although I enjoyed that movie where he fights against a totalitarian regime. So, happy November 5th! The Lake House or Duck House or "Duckingham Palace" as named by Freddie Mercury, adorns the cover of Queen's latest album "Made in Heaven". The picture of this small wooden shed was taken by Richard Gray during his stay in Montreux with the band. Richard Gray was Queen's official photographer and designer until 2018.

The Lake House, built in the 1970s, is used as a shed for the garden tools of the owners of the premises.

Mountain Studios was one of the best studios in the world in the 1970s. The most famous rock or jazz bands and musicians came to record their works with David Richards. Some of them were looking for more intimate and personal places to stay while in town rather than hotels such as the Montreux Palace.

It was in fact the secretary of Mountain Studios that contacted the owners of the premises who willingly rented their second home (Lake House) at Mountain Studios for their artists.

This property being protected by a high and long fence, the stars were thus safe and protected from prying eyes. Moreover, the residence is also located away from nearby buildings, which made it possible to organize majestic celebrations without disturbing the neighbourhood.

Freddie Mercury has stayed at this property several times. His room was spacious.

The very large and well decorated living room had a large bay window with a magnificent and direct view over the garden, the lake, the mountains and the famous "Duck House".

Why "Duck House"? Simply because many ducks stayed there in the garden and surroundings.

Several other artists have chosen this place as their temporary home and have found inspiration there. Boy George, Keith Emerson, Julian Lennon to name a few.
