Live in the moment. One of the key to happiness is to live your life in the moment. You have no control over your pasts and you can’t predict what the future holds. During my class with the students of St Janan Luwum Bombo campus branch and I told them that they have to live in the moment so that they can be able to move forward with the world. So now am still calling for all lovely people around the world to come out and support me through reaching out to more communities now if we don't join hands together and support each other then I won't be able to reach out to more communities in Uganda 🇺🇬. #Repost per credit from & the courtesy of @larissar6 ・・・ Yoga Sutra 2.10 te pratipasava heyah sukshma te - these pratipasava - resolving back into the cause from which they arose heyah - to be overcome; reduced sukshmah - subtle This yoga sutra translates from Sanskrit to mean, “when the five types of colorings (kleshas) are in their subtle, merely potential form, they are then destroyed by their disappearance or cessation into and of the field of mind itself.” As we previously discussed there are five kleshas, and these kleshas (colorings) are aspects of ourselves that cause us to suffer. When we have citta, or fluctuations, in our minds, there is a greater likelihood of the five koshas (see my previous posts for explanation on these)appearing. If, however, we practice yoga (in all its forms) and meditation, we can calm the cittas (or chatter) within our minds. Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit the brand new Lincoln Park (Chicago) location of @lululemon !! I spent 15 minutes on a vibrating tune bed while wearing headphones which played relaxing music, and then participated in a guided meditation class. Between the vibrations of the tuning bed and the guided meditation, my mind definitely went to places in which it has never been to before, and I was certainly able to calm any cittas and kleshas. The tuning bed has vibrations which move throughout your body, and I found the vibrations against my head most calming for my mind. As Indian High Commission of Uganda 🇺🇬 as join, to commemorate 75 years of India's independence, the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Quiz is being conducted to motivate overseas Indian youth and foreign nationals to enchance their knowledge about India. So today, Indian High Commission through Mr. Ajay Kumar the Ambassador of India in Uganda 🇺🇬 have organized the event at their embassy to honor my work of spreading #yoga around Uganda 🇺🇬 and more to people who are really in need of it like #slums #schools #organization #rehabilitation centers and others. I was join by some children from Heart of Dance African Rhythm whom they received donation of yoga mats and some school items. I need to take this opportunity also to thank the ambassador of India, Mr. Ajay Kumar with the entire team of Indian High Commission for always following up my work in the communities.
