#France 🇫🇷 in a nutshell I haven’t travelled in a long time and spending the last couple weeks in France definitely sparked the travel bug again. 1. Leap of faith any leg pose I loved trying this pose with elevation. I'm always nervous to raise my oversplit height. I'm surprised and proud to revisit this posture and find some comfort. processing grief, hurt, anger, or any heavy emotion is a *process* ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ & not dealing with it can create a lot of other problems for yourself down the line. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ speaking from experience, unresolved emotion can block things like your intuition, mental & other emotional pathways, and physical processes & functions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ if emotions are ignored, it ends up hurting you more than anything else. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ to work through them, it takes time, patience, and willingness. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ it requires you to be fully honest with yourself in what you’re feeling and to allow your feelings to deeply be felt. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ this can be scary and vulnerable, especially if you’re more comfortable keeping your emotions hidden or if you’re still working on learning the tools to manage and work with your emotions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ when going through this process, treat it like peeling one layer off at a time (like an onion 🧅) and it won’t be so overwhelming. 💖 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ PS.
