7 acts of love
Tumblr media
heeseung knows you’re not a committed gamer like he is. ( “babe just one more round, i’ll sleep at 4:00 am, promise !” hee) he has multiple leauge accounts but one is specifically for you to play on. he keeps a steady ranking for you and teaches you one on one on that account without the pressure of competition. the only thing is that you can’t change the username since he’s the only one with the controls. guess you’re stuck with ‘donttouchmemybfcanfight’
believe it or not, jay is a journal fanatic. his multiple journals go from jotting grocery list to his most personal thoughts but there is a special journal that he keeps away from the eyes of anybody. it's a simple white journal with a polaroid of you taped to the top that is filled to the brim of song lyrics based on jay's fondness to you. there are little, wonky doodles of you on every page and he uses a photobooth strip of the both of you as a book mark. call him corny but god, this man loves you. who knows, this song might end up at your wedding?
jake never leaves the house without giving you a little smoochy, even when he leaves for early morning practice. in his words, 'your lips are just so addicting. i can never get enough.' (corny) when you're awake, he’ll always give you a kiss on the lips, dragging it longer than he needs to (“ you’re gonna be late-“ you “ i don’t care” *kiss* jake) when you’re asleep, it’ll be the lightest peck on the cheek or forehead. you’ll most likely still be sleeping until layla decides she wants some kisses too.
sunghoon isn’t the best with words when expressing his love for you and he knows that. he’s gotten better over the years but he’s still timid at times, feeling tounge tied at the thought of speaking up. you often fall asleep next to each other, you drifting off the sleep first. he'll turn to you, eyes turning into crescents, pure adoration flowing. he will slowly lift his hand to caress your check, so softly that it won't disturb. you with his touch being as gentle as a feather, he’ll whisper, “i love you”
the amount of photos sunoo has in his camera roll is actually insane. he takes an ungodly amount of photos of you. he doesn't delete any of them because he thinks you looks breathtaking in every picture. unless you really hate the picture and bribe with a kiss. even with that, only a select one or two get deleted. the pictures range from your date outings, you washing the dishes, to taking off your makeup. he’s run out of storage many times but refuses to delete your pictures and ends up buying more icloud.
with his spare time, jungwon can never doubt a good book. you also enjoying your selected books, you and him often wind down with some books you bought on a date. you were always used to scribbling your thoughts down on the side but your eyebrow corked when you see jungwon jotting down notes. “what are you doing?” you ask as you lean over to look. he closes the book and smiles, “nothing.” you shrug it off as jungwon continues to write how beautiful you look in this moment, attention long gone from the book. (she’s so beautiful oh me gee, hopefully she never opens this book, HER SMILE)
riki has artistic talent in a lot of aspects of his life. he becomes one with music when he dances, feeling every beat exude through his veins. his voice flows like smooth honey with lyrics. his art pieces blend in beautiful harmony to create an artwork even picasso would be proud of. he sketches you more than he would like to every admit. during class, lunch breaks, at night when he can’t sleep; he can’t help it. he knows your features like the back of his hand. every dimple, crease, texture, rosiness to your face, he never misses a detail.

got cockblocked by art block i fear
anyway pathetic loser doodles + other drawings under the cut while i work through it and back with yet more music stuck in my head like a broken record;
Tumblr media
bitciziad rambling nonsense btw bc i like talking to u maybe probably : binge’s radio station moment of last week was pretty ricky lyrics 24/7 (i dont know why bc i haven’t even listened to them in y e a r s it hit me out of the blue i was over here thinking “yessirrr”, “hotter than a bisquick biscuit out the oven”, “i’m rolling down 95”, “dudes on my chevy, girls in my chevy” etc. for forever with other stupid shit y’all know how your brain gets when you have relentless music stuck in your head)
this week is smashing pumpkins (and sublime like always) so the drawing below is bc of that cuz i reference a song or something every single time somehow with no relevance even in an entirely unrelated post/comment and i forget we aren’t mentally connected and you might not know what i’m thinking/referencing no matter how obscure it is (yet.. we aren’t on the same wavelength YET… just u wait tho) BUT it’s temporary give me like a week or two and i won’t have radio static on repeat i will be a functioning member of society but unfortunately for those of y’all that read my post all the way through u weren’t spared my nonsense whatsoever have a complimentary water or redbull or something from me to u
OKAY BUT DOL i’m going to forget this as soon as i post but how neat would a drawing of some of the DoL characters be of like smashing pumpkin faces (not the band i mean like actual pumpkins but yes 100% inspired by once again music i was thinking of/listening to i promise it’s relevant to the rambling this time. idk i haven’t even touched the game in a month i’m just drawing some characters and thinking of building another world unrelated to my other ocs)
ima just use kylar as an example cuz he is the only one i can draw rn but like one of those graphic in-your-face style dynamic poses (ex: falling into the canvas) that kinda takes up the whole canvas but it’s a splattered pumpkin face with a grunge(? not really the word i’m tryna say but yeah) vibe and add some word or something in those big bold letters across the page, like the word “disarm” idk (i’m using bits and pieces of this blog as an excuse to ramble atp)
Tumblr media
+ one more sketch featuring other unrelated things but there is one kylar at least im just feelin’ lazy with it LMAOOO
idk what’s up with my timeline thing i don’t see like 80% of my mutuals’/people i follow posts but i will fix it (insert saluting emoji cuz i can’t find it rn)

Things To Do If You Have Writers Block
A: Read that book you've wanted to get to or reread one of your favorites! Maybe you'll find some inspiration from the words. Yet even if you don't, analyze what about the book's writing style you like and don't like, then try to apply that to your own and see if anything flows better.
B: Plan the beginning, middle, and end of a story, and nothing more. Get as nonsensical as you want to! (EX: Start: A man finds a tree. Middle: The man brings the tree to life. End: The man becomes a bird so he can live in the tree.)
C: Change up your writing style to see if something new would help. Do you usually write in first person? Try writing in second. Do you usually write in second person? Try writing in first.
D: Come up with new small facts about your OC's or headcanons about your favorite character! (EX: What's their least favorite color? Do they believe in luck? What's their favorite soda?)
E: Write a few paragraphs about what your favorite character would be up to after the end of their story.
F: Think about your favorite media. Then, think about the thing you dislike most about that media. Write a ten step plan about how you would personally fix this problem if you were in charge.
More Undercut
G: Write a very non serious shitpost. Like…something so stupid that it isn't even worth putting real effort into.
H: Go engage with that one media that always makes you want to write something for it.
I: Focus on something for your story that isn't writing. Do you want to research something for your story to be more accurate? Focus on that for a bit and then come back to your writing.
J: Play the paragraph game with a friend! The paragraph game is when you write one paragraph of a story and your friend writes another.
K: Write a paragraph and then do something else. (EX: Write a paragraph and then read a chapter/page of a book. Write a paragraph and then walk a lap around your room. Write a paragraph and then doodle something on a sticky note.)
L: Think about your favorite lyric of all time. Then write a scene based on them.
M: Write about a day from your pets perspective. If you don't have a pet, write about a day from your favorite animals perspective.
N: Write something so embarrassingly self-indulgent that you'd never post it. That way, you won't feel the pressure of showing other people your writing, while also trying to write something you really enjoy.
O: Have a competition with yourself! See how many words you can write in the span of ten minutes over a week! You might surprise yourself.
P: Try a different medium of creativity and see if focusing on something else will get you unstuck. (Like editing, drawing, singing, knitting, etc.)
Q: Start on a new project and see if that gets you unstuck. You can always come back to the old one later.
R: Write something that's NOT from the main characters perspective. How would that one side character you really love react to something the main character has gone through? Or what were they up to while the main character was going through something.
S: Make random characters on Picrew, The Sims, BG3, literally anything with any kind of character customization. Maybe making a really cool design will make you inspired to write a really cool backstory to go with them.
T: Journal your day so you're writing something even if it isn't taking up creative energy. (Because the lack of creative energy is real.)
U: Read anything you write out loud, sometimes it helps things flow better.
V: Rewrite some of your old work. See if you find new wording for that one sentence that bothered you back then.
W: Meet your needs. It's much easier to write after a snack, a drink, and a nap if you feel like you need one.
X: Write about how an interaction would go between two characters who have never met in canon.
Y: Daydream! Not everything has to be written using pen or paper or an internet document. Just daydream about a story you'd like to tell and maybe get inspired. Or maybe you won't, but you will have kept the creative juices flowing!
Z: Release yourself from the pressure of writing. You will get something done when you get something done, and sometimes you just need a break. Even from things you love.

Haunted Holidays
December 21: Wrapping Paper <-AO3 link!
“I think that’s everything,” Carrie said as she looked over the sea of bags and boxes surrounding her.
“It had better be, I think we bought out half of LA,” Reggie groaned from where he had flung himself onto the couch.
“You know some of that is for you right?” Carrie replied.
“I’m aware,” Reggie said, looking up from the arms he had covering his face. “Which is why you should hide them while I’m too tired to peek.”
Carrie hummed but did grab a few bags and rushed off, making Reggie bite back a grin. Honestly he loved that she used the holiday season to spoil their loved ones. Stuff none of them would buy themselves, but they all secretly wanted. Carrie was aces at gifts, and Reggie was getting better since they started dating.
“Okay Peters,” Carrie declared as she reentered the den with a clap of her hands. “No napping, we have to get wrapping!”
Reggie groaned, sitting up and looking at her. “Okay, gimme a beat.”
Carrie scowled and waved a tube of wrapping paper at him. “Come on you.”
Reggie gave a mock salute and started taking items out of bags, handing them over to Carrie so she could find the right gift bag or bow to go with each gift. “I always figured you’d get a professional to do this kind of thing.”
She shook her head. “That’s more my dad’s thing. I like wrapping gifts, giving it that personal touch. Shows that you’re willing to spend the time on it outside the thought of the gift itself.”
“When I was a kid I wrapped all my gifts in the comics section of the newspaper-saved up the colour pages every Sunday to do it,” Reggie commented.
“MeeMaw didn’t have paper for you to use?” Carrie asked. She knew better to ask about his parents-they only gave him shame, complexes, and recrimination, never presents.
“I wanted to do it myself,” Reggie said with a shrug. “She loved my version of a personal touch.”
“I bet you made her great gifts,” Carrie said. She had never met MeeMaw, the woman had unfortunately passed before she got the chance. But she loved hearing Reggie’s stories about her.
“Oh yeah, the best pages of scribbles, popsicle stick picture frames, and clay handprints you ever did see,” Reggie said, then a look of melancholy passed over his face. “She kept it all though, had a box of it all stored in the attic.”
Carrie scooted over , cuddling into his side. “She loved you, and treasured everything you gave her. I know I would.”
Reggie snorted. “Doll you gave me an itemized list of gifts.”
She had done that hadn’t she? And she knew he had bought her every one without complaint. “I know,” she whispered. “I think I needed a reminder that it isn’t what you get, but the love and thought behind it.”
“So I can return the ludicrously pricey scarf?” Reggie jested.
“Not on your life,” Carrie said, sticking her tongue out at him. “But feel free to wrap it in some newspaper if you keep the packaging on it.”
Reggie grinned, tilting her head back for a kiss. “You know, I just might do that.”
Then on Christmas morning, Carrie had to laugh when every single one of her expensive presents were wrapped in homemade paper-covered in Reggie’s doodles and lyrics.
She kept every piece. Which turned out to be worth it, as the next year she used the paper he had made to wrap his gifts in. RReggie gave a delighted bark when he noticed, and made a show out of oh so carefully peeling the tape off so they could use it again.
By the third year, it was getting a bit worn, so Carrie said they would just have to make new paper, and spent a lovely afternoon doing so. “But we’re still keeping the old stuff right?” Reggie asked shyly.
“Oh sinta of course!” Carrie assured him. “We could make a cool art piece out of them if you want.”
She missed the way his face lit up at that, but Reggie thought that was for the best because he now had a plan to blow all other Christmas’ out of the water!
Oh Christmas morning, Carrie came down the stairs, and saw something hanging on the wall, covered by a sheet. Reggie was standing next to it, looking a little nervous, a little tired, but still his gorgeous sunshiney self. “Hey doll, Merry Christmas,” he said, greeting her with a kiss when she replied in kind.
“You figure out what to do with the paper after?” Carrie asked, taking a step back to survey the large set up.
“Yup, you wanna do the honours?’ Reggie asked.
Carrie nodded and ripped off the sheet, then gasped. There they were --all the pieces of wrapping paper. Covered in their doodles, notes, and little bits of their history. A photo of the two of them after a paintball game where she had dominated and Reggie was just happy to be there. Riding side by side on horseback, though Reggie was doing so with considerable more grace.
There were programs and ticket stubs, and a few candy wrappers, lyrics to half finished songs, even a section for Tisdale, Carrie’s Shar Pei that Reggie used to walk every day-it was how they met after all. And though she had crossed the rainbow bridge, the both of them would forever be grateful for her influence in them getting together.
Then right in the middle, was an origami heart, with the words Open Me printed on it. Carrie grinned at Reggie, wondering what silly pun awaited her-he did love his jokes her man.
Only when she opened the heart, there were only two words printed there. WOrds that made Carrie’s heart race and her face break into a smile. A smile that grew even wider when she saw Reggie kneeling before her with a ring made of folder paper.
“I swear I got you a real one,” he said, offering it up. “But I kinda had to doll.”
“No no, this is perfect,” Carrie said, slipping the ring onto her finger. “Yes by the way.”
Reggie whooped and spun them around, all while Carrie admired her ring. She knew it would probably end up framed somewhere so she could keep it forever-but right now it outmatched even the brightest of diamonds, and was worth more to her than every gift under the tree.

METALHEAD! Michael Myers X EMO! S/O Headcanons
A/N: Can’t get the idea of metalhead Mikey falling for an emo out of my head, it’s so damn cute and self indulgent on my part. Sorry not sorry.
Well, to set the stage for this post, I’ll start by saying that (in the early 2000s at least), metalheads did not like emos, or at the very least had a distaste for emo music.
They think it’s whiny, and metal is not whiny,
Michael has spent his life detesting the thought of being weak, emotional, or whiny, and got into metal at a pretty young age.
I like to think that in a world where 07 didn’t happen, he’d grow up to be a metalhead and hang around other likeminded people.
And although the group he hung out with had an arbitrary hatred for the emo group that gathered only a few benches over, you always had his eye.
While your respective groups bickered the two of you stood behind, observing the other with interest.
He liked your cute little accessories, maybe even found your taste in musicians hilariously charming, he just couldn’t bring himself to hate you.
When his younger sister Laurie started bringing you around more he got used to you, despite his stand-offish nature at first.
When you expressed interest in the things that he liked he slowly started assimilating your interests into his life as well, or at the very least gave them a shot.
The two of you found common ground regarding you interest in the edgier things, especially horror movies. Blood, guts, gore, fun! Who didn’t like a good horror flick?
You were lucky he allowed you to get away with so much. Painting his nails, playing your music on his stereo, making blingees on his computer? You were privileged, so so privileged.
Even if you were whiny, you were cute, and undeniably… You. The heart of being emo is being, well, emotional, something that he’s never willingly tried to be. He admires the culture for that, and you as well.
You help make him feel more sensitive, less tough and more squish, maybe even… Vulnerable.
If you’re the poetry type and you’re brave enough to share with him, you might receive some of his with varying degrees of quality.
One thing he won’t do for a very long time is let you apply makeup on him, he can do it himself and doesn’t like you being so close to his face.
He definitely likes watching you put yours on though, if you put any on.
If you doodle he’ll scribble with you, usually claiming the other side of the page for his strangely demonic art. You think it’s cool.
He watches as you feverishly use the MS paint line tool to draw your respective features over a DA Sonic couple base, non judgmentally kind of. If you ask him to add stuff he will create an awesome moonlit background and maybe some song lyrics in Creepster font. It’s his wallpaper now.
He likes it when you draw you and him as wolves he thinks they’re. Cool. He likes wolves, he thinks they are cool. Will draw the same wolf characters but in a lot more eerie detail.
When emailing you he will only say what he feels necessary, but will occasionally frighten you when he mimics your text emotes with a small “ T_T “
Stalks your forum profiles, doesn’t matter what forum or how obscure. He will find you and watch, judge a little but not say anything.
If his friends target you specifically he’ll fend them off, not caring whether or not they look down on him for it. If they aren’t willing to let you be apart of his life, then they can’t be apart of it either.
If you openly self loathe a lot expect him to try and stop you. And by that I mean he’ll pull you into a hug and squeeze you until you stop talking about yourself that way. He thinks he is helping.
Has a collection of spikes/studs that have fallen off your clothing.
He tries dressing emo for one date, gets embarrassed because you unironically glomped him for it.
Having Michael as a boyfriend is like having another shadow, but it’s a blessing. Suddenly, all the people who pestered you before are minding their own business and walking the opposite way on the sidewalk. Anyone who dares belittle you over your fashion choices will regret it almost immediately.

hey can I request a genish matchup?
I'm a girl who's about 5'7 and has black hair and black eyes. I like drawing a lot and I also write songs. I often study and prepare for tests with the time I have.
I am very kind, loving, caring and considerate. I hate any kind of conflict so I usually almost always agree with other's opinions. I rarely get angry and usually bottle up my anger lol. The only thing I don't agree with is changing my basic moral values. I refuse to harm those who have harmed me as I simply don't like it. I also love puns and my humor is similar to cyno's lolol. I'm a huge introvert but I always try to be friendly and try to figure out the way to win someone as my friend. I've been betrayed and replaced a lot before so I get kinda scared of ppl leaving me easily. But to those who are the closest to me, I treat them like royalty. The smile of those I love is the most important and I will go any lengths to achieve it.
hey, dear, thank you for the info you sent ! i hope it’s okay to publish it, since i have no way to identify you otherwise… i hope you’ll like the matchup <3
Tumblr media
now, for you i was seriously debating two characters that i can definitely see you clicking quite well with, but finally decided on someone who loves nature and is seen as a guide of sorts. Like you, he spends a great amount of his time studying and though sassy at times, he’s not one to go looking for conflict either, often preferring a more rational approach. In contrast to you, he knows when to let his anger show and he’s not afraid to throw hands (if he absolutely has to only, of course). Though introverted, he is social too and good at talking in front of crowds.
well, with all this, you might have an idea of who i’m talking about already hehe ~ i think your genshin match is…
✧ TIGHNARI
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Your love for drawing and song writing are both facets of your personality that I think Tighnari would really admire. He has knowledge in drawing himself, often recording all the spices he studies on his journals. So, don’t be surprised if some time he asks you to accompany him or just join him to study botany for a while.
The head forest ranger’s eyes can’t help but glance at you, as you masterfully make pencil lines come alive in the form of flowers, leaves, fungi, butterflies or any other living creature he’s studying.
Due to your studious and introverted nature, the fennec fox always finds peace and respite in your company. His sensitive ears feel calm when he shares hours with you, Sumeru’s sunlight filtering through the verdure overhead coming in through his study’s open window.
More than once, when you two have been focusing on the books until dusk, his mind wanders to the lyrics you tend to scribble on the corners of your notebook’s pages.
He always wondered the meaning of those…
Intermittent sunbeams dance around the paper, the clear sky overhead patchy with marshmallow-like clouds and vibrant viridian leaves.
Humming to yourself, your eyes follow the penned lines you have down so far, your fingers tapping against your knee, to the tune of a melody yet to fully take form.
You always liked to escape to the hidden corners of Avidya forest to compose your songs. The birds chirping, the nilotpala lotuses floating in the crystalline waters and dendro crystalflies certainly did make for a soothing and inspiring atmosphere.
Sometimes you just got a few lines written; others you only managed to get a general idea of how your song is going to sound; at times, you even wrote no lyrics at all, settling for just doodling the flora and fauna surrounding you, but regardless, all the live that thrived in the rainforest always managed to make you smile.
Not to mention, no one knew about these little spots you picked to let your creativity fly free.
Or so you thought.
He had exceptional hearing, after all.
Honeyed notes had made it to the head forest ranger’s location as he was patrolling, the voice singing them unequivocally yours.
Carefully, he had retraced his steps, the echo of your sweet symphony leading him to your whereabouts.
Tighnari reaches a clearing, where you placidly sit, your back to him. Dendro crystalflies and fireflies flit around, their glow and the sun’s casting you in ethereal light.
Your lover smiles; you look so at peace like this, pen in hand, your feet dangling from the rock you’re sat at, dipping in the crystalline spring flowing by.
Your performance ends, you put down your notebook and unexpected clapping fills the otherwise mostly silent woods.
“I didn’t know you could sing.” Your boyfriend tells you, when you turn around and are met with his clapping hands and twitching ears.
“T-tighnari!” You fluster, gaze averted to the side. You hadn’t expected anyone to find your little corner. “I- well… I just write sometimes… lyrics… or something like that…”
“It sounded like quite the beautiful melody to me.” He says, stepping closer, taking a sit by your side.
“I don’t know… it’s still not finished…” you trail off, tapping the pen against the scribbled pages. Swirling flowers decorate the margins, some of them shaded, others just simple drafts. To Tighnari, however, they all look so beautiful, so alive…
His smile softens, gloved fingers running over your artworks.
“So this is what the quotes I noticed on your botany journals are…” he muses, eyes of turquoise and honey scanning the words.
“Mhm.” You nod, warmth spreading through your cheeks, a fond and shy smile decorating your features.
“May I hear your song again when it’s finished?” Your lover asks, afternoon sunlight reflected in his gaze of molten gems.
And in that moment, as your eyes lock with his, the rest of the lyrics start to outline at the back of your mind.
“That’s a promise.” You breathe, your lips soft on his forehead, his ears twitching happily.
Your kind and considerate disposition is something Tighnari adores about you too.
Additionally, his pupil Collei finds comfort in your presence as well. Many a time, she goes to you if she’s having trouble with difficult vocabulary or with writing letters to her outrider friend from the city of song and wind.
In these moments, the head forest ranger can’t help the dreamy expression painted in his features.
Other times, however, though still loving you deeply, he wants to facepalm.
As if it wasn’t enough with his mahamatra friend cracking awful jokes at dinner, he now has to deal with double the trouble.
Still, the sight of you laughing airily with his closest friend, so carefree, so unbothered, is something he could stare at for hours.
Tighnari is very loyal and understanding, so I think he’d be someone healing, in the sense that he could help you find a healthy outlet for your contained anger. He is also very comforting, down to earth and caring, and would reassure you constantly through his actions that he’s staying forever by your side, no matter what.
Like you, Tighnari is true to himself, and the fact that you are determined and loyal to your own moral values is awe inspiring to him.
✧ RUNNER UP: ALHAITHAM
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think our stoic scribe here would be a nice contrast to your personality, in a good way.
Though calm and collected, he’s not scared to throw the occasional blunt jab (as he often does with his roommate), and he’d help you see that it’s okay to disagree with others’ points of view.
When you tell jokes or are being humorous, if you watch closely, you’ll spot a gentle smile on Alhaitham’s face; he really does think your jokes are endearing.
In the same way that, even rational and logical, he thinks it’s so cute you draw and write songs. If you let him, he’d really love to read the lyrics you write.
Due to your nurturing characteristics, I do believe you could make his heart race too. It can be any small gesture, but every time you make him smile sincerely, Alhaitham feels a newfound warmth in his chest, cheeks tinting a very faint pink.
You’ll have to draw that sight sometime.

The last day of school is always ridiculously—
Julie pulls Flynn out of the way as a large trash can barrels by, sighing as cheers erupt around them and a jock pops out.
Chaotic. It's ridiculously chaotic.
She just hopes that the guys aren't too involved in the chaos. The last thing they need is to get in trouble on their very last day of school.
Her hands move faster at the thought, sweeping stuff she no longer needs into the nearest jockless can. She starts cramming other things into her backpack to sort later, mostly shirts and sweaters.
One of them looks like Reggie’s, and she pulls it out to confirm that, yes, it's a flannel she stole from him months ago.
Flynn takes the opportunity to rifle through Julie's locker as Julie pulls the flannel on, quickly reclaiming a few items of her own.
She wrinkles her nose at the thick notebook lying in the bottom of the locker.
"Ugh, Jules, throw that away already."
Julie takes it out gingerly, shaking her head. She hugs it to her chest as Flynn groans, ducking her head to hide a blush.
"But you hate math!" Flynn exclaims. "Almost as much as I do. If you won't spike it into the nearest trash can, can't I?"
"No! Go spike your own notebook."
Flynn hums. "Nope, now I gotta know what's special about that one. Spill!"
Julie bites her lip. She finds a well-worn, dog-eared page and flips it around.
Flynn visibly melts, cooing as she reads.
These lines aren't for chatting / but your voice keeps me going / when my mind wants to roam / it leaps from each one
"That's cute. You wrote that part?"
Julie nods. She knows the silly, impromptu little song by heart, one that she'd totally forgotten to rip out before Reggie could see it, along with her sunshine doodles.
The page is also peppered with several of his smiley faces, a sunflower with hearts for leaves, and his equally silly response:
I'll always be cheering / On the rewired lines you're hearing / There's no problem you can't own / I'll be your number one
Flynn starts to flip through the pages, but Julie snatches them back. There's a good chance Flynn would land on his actual annotations, but there are also some conversations she'd never stop teasing Julie about, along with some she just…
Doesn't feel like sharing. Dream box material, scraps of secrets, sacred wishes.
Flynn beams. "I always knew there was something going on between you two!"
"Nothing official," Julie murmurs. "He's…"
"Sort of perfect for you?"
"In a band that's about to make it big!"
Flynn flaps her hand. "Long distance is a thing. I think you two could make it work. I mean, hello? Those lyrics alone?"
Julie sighs. She carefully tucks the notebook away in the back of her backpack, in the slim space for a laptop.
"I don't know, Flynn…"
Flynn grasps her hand. "Just come on!"
"I wasn't finished!" she yelps as Flynn drags her away, barely holding onto her backpack as they weave through the chaos, thankfully avoiding more jocks.
"Eh, you got everything important."
"But the janitors…"
The rest of her protest dies in her throat.
Reggie's laughing at something Willie drew on his little magnetic whiteboard, grinning like the absolute sunbeam he is, and Julie's heart starts to race. Especially…
Especially once his eyes land on her.
They get impossibly brighter, and his grin gets broader, and she might pass out.
"I better go check on Bobby," Willie says, which is entirely valid, but something about the way he says it and the look he exchanges with Flynn makes Julie squint.
Flynn adds, "And I'd better check on Carrie before she decides to throw away perfectly good sunglasses again," which, also valid, but—
"Oh, and Julie has to tell you something!"
If she didn't love Flynn, she'd be so dead.
Her and Willie both, honestly.
She giggles nervously as the two of them make their hasty retreat, only scooting closer to narrowly avoid an elbow to the face as another senior rips a folder in half.
Reggie just waits, looking at her with those bright, curious eyes, and she bites her lip.
Her gaze lands on his whiteboard, half taken up by Willie's drawing of a dog on a skateboard, and she moves without thinking, reaching for the marker.
Reggie makes a curious sound. "Wh—"
"No peeking!" she says through more nervous giggles, although they become a bit more genuine as he spreads his hands in an exaggerated show of surrender.
She scrawls a little sunflower, along with a handful of heartfelt words:
I want to be your number one, too. I love…
Which is when she runs out of room.
Huffing, she circles the you in your and draws a little arrow that leads back to it.
She steps away with shaking hands.
Reggie's breath hitches. "Julie—really?"
She nods, only to squeak as he scoops her into a fierce hug, hiding her flushed face in his chest. Her arms circle his waist.
It's nearly drowned out by a bunch of shouting, but he says, "I love you, too."
And she's always happy to see it in writing, texting him constantly during his first tour.

tally hall sketches and other assorted doodles
Here ya go guys! I also have improvement pics from last year! Almost two years in the Tally Hall fandom! Woohoo! My Marvin's CD is gonna hate me even more after all of this
Tumblr media
A Ross sketch! I'm super proud of how it turned out! Below is a close-up!
Tumblr media
The aforementioned close-up, showing the shading on his face and the folds of his sleeve!
Tumblr media
Zubin! I love the side profile, and I used his picture in the MMMM booklet as a reference! Close up below, so you can see some of the more fine details/shading
Tumblr media
the close-up!
Tumblr media
Here's Andrew! His hair is kinda hard to not fluff-ify, but I dealt with it anyways and tried my best to keep it close to reality. Obligatory close(r)-up below.
Tumblr media
next will be some other random stuff, mostly tally hall, but some of it is oc art
Tumblr media
drew this drawing of Ross last September. Not amazing but very stylized, which I love/hate. the tag on the bottom left reads, "he's rather disheveled but this is the best I could do back then"
Tumblr media
wtf is he doing? He in an action movie or something? btw this was last-year's andrew. very stylized. i hate it.
Tumblr media
decided not to include the other last-year Rob cause i hate it deeply. this one's much better. very fluffy. i dont like the collar tho
Tumblr media
just me poking fun at my horrendous attempts at stylizing joe. im not gonna draw him as much as the others btw.
Tumblr media
This is from an au created by @bonkdd, but i did rob and andrew's designs bc i never saw his designs for them. i also added a lot of lore and plot stuff because i really liked the concept. in simple terms the tallies are robots that were abandoned by Marvin after he passed away so now they're falling apart n stuff without him to care for them (that's why rob hides his face). Anyways, huge thanks to Bonk for the original idea! They're a great artist, you should go check them out!
Tumblr media
Edith, drawn/sketched with a ballpoint pen.
Tumblr media
Another one. I like this one better, but I spent two days on this one versus a half on hour on the other so i guess it makes sense
Tumblr media
Adrian and Reuben (OCs), done in a college-ruled notebook bc i ran out of pages in my sketchbook. next is a close-up so you can see more shading.
Tumblr media
probably my favorite gay couple i've ever written ngl
Tumblr media
Ace again, but wearing Reuben's favorite sweater.
Tumblr media
Looking mighty fine!
Tumblr media
He's lookin' tough, he's got the stuff, he's got the spiffy shades... (/lyric)
Tumblr media
pose practice
Tumblr media
Boll weevil, why don't you get out of your home? (/lyric)
Tumblr media
old art jumpscare - i actually kinda like this one, might redraw it. Below is the full thing
Tumblr media
why is zubes staring like that??? its creepy
Tumblr media
here's another. i don't know why it's sideways. andrew is scared of joe btw, this isn't the entire drawing
Tumblr media
Did an embossing peice. It's the Mojo Chessmaster! I tried by best to make it as detailed as possible, and I think I did pretty alright. The neck was probably the worst part to do. Below are close-ups
Tumblr media
the head of the guitar was a pain in the ass.
Tumblr media
This part was also pretty tricky but it came out okay. the dials at the bottom are raised as much as I could get them to go, so I'm not worried about them. My issue here was the pickups.
Tumblr media
I also added Flansburgh's little signature guy but i drew his hair because why not? Anyways this piece took me a good hour or so to finish, I think it'll fetch a good grade (it was for my metal design class).
I'll add a sketch I just did as a bonus:
Tumblr media
it's from a tally hall fanfic/au i made back in may after my grandpa passed away. It was a great stress-reliever and I still really like how it turned out. It's about cryptids and monsters and shit. I'll post a summary on a different post because this one was mostly for the drawings. I might post a few installments of it on my ao3. It could be a weekly thing since i usually have time on fridays to write.
Once again, a close-up is available below.
Tumblr media
I put literal hours of research on cryptids and of the area (ann harbor, MI) while writing this fic. It was fun though, and it helped me a lot. Feel free to ask me anything about the plot or world-building !

Art could come in many forms.
Some came as oil paints on canvases or mindless doodles that were painted on the edges of pages by a person sitting in a chair, but one that seemed to captivate the attention of many was art on skin. Each piece always had a story to tell, eliciting laughter among a group of friends if it was done with a needle in a drunken state or a wave of oohs and ahs at the thought of etching something permanent on skin because of a bet, dare or something more deep such as a love story.
Standing at the threshold of the shop, you tapped your foot against the rough wood, anxious of the appointment you had booked the previous day.
“You should definitely go for it. It would be one of the most not-so-boring things you have done in university years.” Mai said, handing your phone over to you.
“Are you sure? Cause once I get that on my skin, there is no reversing it.” you said, clicking your phone shut.
“Please. Todou has a lot of tattoos and some of them don’t even make any sense. This one does and you should definitely get it done. It would really compliment your skin.” Mai said with the wave of her hand.
Chewing on your lip you knew having a tattoo would call for commitment. There were stories of people advising others to never get a quote or a lyric etched permanently on your skin, often having cover up tattoos over them or having them lasered; with short lived relationships that were in the form of reminders of ex lovers names, tattooed in the most secretive, intimate or open spaces on skin. Being cautious about all these things and opting to not follow the norm was one way to live… but what if you wanted it for your own personal satisfaction and change?
You had decided to graduate from your final year of university with one good memory of an accomplishment you would achieve alone apart from grades; which was the bucket list of the worst decisions you had ever made. Getting drunk and being completely blacked out was a part of Mai’s idea when she had thrown a wild party at her house despite the protests of her twin sister. Going out for a drive at night to no place in particular had been another one of Mai’s contributions to your bucket list with Todou’s complains about having a hangover and Kamo’s groaning about having to deal with the bulky man. Deciding to go more bold, you had made up your mind on a choice every person had when they were young and reckless.
Getting a tattoo.
Dialing the number on your phone after searching for various shops and reviews, you finally found the place that had suited your standards. With three rings, your call was answered.
“You’ve reached the night parade, how can I help you?” a light yet baritone voice said. “Hi! I wanted to ask if you would be able to book an appointment tomorrow…?” you asked shyly, one hand curling into the hem of the bottom of your shirt.
“Just gimme a minute” the young man answered as there was shuffling in the background.
“Sure, take your time” you said, looking at the screen of your laptop, analyzing the pictures that had been uploaded onto the website.
“We’re free at seven.” the voice stated.
“Okay… can I book an appointment for that time?” you asked, toes curling at the thrill of finally getting what you wanted.
“If you want. And if you happen to cancel, do let us know early. Not at the time we close shop” the young man commented.
With a chuckle you said, “I’ll keep that in mind. I’ll turn up at that time.”
“Cool. I’ll write your name down so that one of the artists can start working on you.” the voice answered.
“Might I know your name so that I don’t walk into the wrong shop?” you asked, lightly scratching your cheek.
“I highly doubt you would walk into the wrong shop cause the display board would be outside… but the name is Fushiguro Megumi.” the baritone voice replied.
“Alright. I’ll stop by tomorrow. Thank you, Fushiguro san.” you said meekly.
“Anytime.” was all he said before you heard the phone line go dead on the other side.
‘Megumi… a pretty name but very uncommon for that kind of a voice.’
Opening the door, you heard the charm of the bell as you stepped inside the warm room. Looking on your right, you watched a young man type away aggressively on the desktop that sat perched on the wooden desk. He had spiky black hair and ocean green eyes that shifted lower with every sentence he read on the desktop. Stepping closer to the back of the desk, you cleared your throat, waiting to get his attention. Eyes snapping up in your direction he looked to the ceiling on the wall on his left, noting the time had been seven o’ clock.
“Seems like you stepped into the right shop afterall” he said with the roll of his eyes as he laxed into the chair behind him, folding his hands.
“Megumi. How many times have I told you to not be rude to the customers?” another baritone voice came from behind you.
Looking back, you were met with the sight of a white haired man with round dark glasses. His arms were covered by the long sleeves of his shirt with only a peek of a wing on his neck. Eyes trailing down, you watched as his calves flexed the ink on his skin. Stretching his legs out to display, your eyes quickly snapped to meet his. A playful smirk played on his lips as he got up from his seat and walked to you. You felt your eyes widen at the sight of the man as he fit into the perfect description of a model who would be printed on the cover of the magazine despite the fact that he was adorned in tattoos.
“And you’re miss… uh…” he said, lowering his glasses with one of his hands while the other was in his pocket.
“(L/N). (L/N) (F/N).” you said.
“Right…” he said with a teasing drawl as he watched you from head to toe.
With an awkward clearance of your throat, you spoke. “And you are?”
“Gojo Satoru.” he said chirped back.
“Do you uh…” you said, trying to choose the right words to ask him if he worked in the tattoo shop to not seem offensive while fidgeting with your thumbs.
“If you’re asking me whether I work here, as a matter of fact I do. I co-own this shop with another artist.” he said, sticking his tongue out playfully.
“Oh… “ you said in awe.
“Yeah…that grumpy old man should be here anytime now…” he said, looking at the door in expectation. “Afterall… you are his client.”
It was as on cue, the door had opened with another man stepping into the shop. He was nearly as tall as Satoru but had been a few inches shorter. He had blonde hair, slicked back with a clean undercut and prominent cheekbones; lips pressed into a fine line with a silver ring resting against the middle of the lower appendage. His skin seemed to be covered in tattoos with peeks on it rising to his collar bones while the rest was hidden under a tank top accompanied with an overcoat and a pair of loose fitting platform pants. Taking off his glasses, he placed it with a light clatter on the desk before turning to take off his overcoat and hang it from the rack that was on the left wall into the entrance of the shop.
‘Does everyone who works here have to look like a model?’
“Megumi, I told you not to make me work overtime. This is the third time this week you’ve done that.” he said in a raspy yet frustrated, resting both his arms against the desk, he towered over the green eyed boy.
“I asked Gojo san if he was willing to tattoo on the client and he said, ‘No, Let Nanamin do it.’ “ Megumi said, pointing a thumb towards you. Brown eyes snapped in your direction, causing you to gulp at the awkward tension in the shop. Letting out a heavy groan, Nanami let his head hang before turning to face the white haired man. “When are you going to learn to be responsible, Gojo san?” he asked with the pursing of his lips.
“Oof… that’s very cold of you to say Nanamin. Practice makes a man better and you should be happy that I’m giving you that opportunity.” Satoru said cheekily.
“Whatever. Let’s get this done with.” he said, bending towards the shelf to grab a sketchbook and stationery.
Walking past you he opened a door behind, one hand holding his materials while the other rested on the handle.
“After you.” he said curtly with a shake of his head, ushering you into the room. With a quick nod, you stepped inside, taking a look around you. Shelves were littered with bottles of ink, needles and tattooing equipment with two desks that were placed next to each other with bulletin boards that were pinned with drawings, stencils and rough sketches.
“Did you have something in mind that you wanted me to tattoo or… would you want to explore your options before settling on one?” Nanami’s raspy baritone voice said, as he set materials on his desk.
“I was thinking about doing a swallow holding a letter beneath my collarbone…. But I wasn’t too sure about it…” you said in a meek voice, shuffling your feet at your embarrassing reply.
“Hm…” Nanami acknowledged, reaching for one of the books that was placed among many of the shelves before setting it on the wooden desk. Flipping through the pages, he came upon one which looked similar to the design you had in mind.
“Is this the kind you’re looking for?” he asked, taking a quick glance at you, turning back to the page for affirmation.
“Something like that, yes… but don’t you think it would be a little awkward if the person who got this tattooed and I have the same design?” you said with a shaky voice accompanied with a light chuckle to make the conversation seem lighthearted compared to the tattoo artist’s serious demeanor.
“You would be right about that…” he said, eyebrows furrowing in thought. Pursing your lips, you looked away from the drawing that sprawled in front of you to his hands that rested against the desk, shoulders hunched at the position of him being deep in thought of what he could possibly do to change this tattoo.
“Tell you what” he said, suddenly, breaking you from your stare, “You come back tomorrow and I’ll design something.”
“Okay… what time would you like me to come?” you asked, turning to face him. “Come by late afternoon. Say about three. I’ll have your design ready and waiting.” he said curtly, closing the book and lifting it to place it back on the shelf.
“Okay… I’ll see you tomorrow… uh…” you said, shaking a pointed finger in awkwardness, lips pursed into a thin line.
“Nanami. Nanami kento.” he replied in a raspy voice. “And you’re Miss…”
“(L/n). (L/N), (F/N).”
“I’ll have Megumi note down your name in the register for the appointment tomorrow. Don’t be late as I value both my client’s and my time.” he said, opening the door for you once more.
“I’ll make a note of that Nanami san.” you said softly, turning to leave.
“All done already? You must’ve broken the track record now, Nanamin.” Gojo said, coming to a sitting position, shooting the both of you a playful smile.
“Only a dumbhead would come to that conclusion. I’m working on her design. Something you should be doing instead of lazing around the shop.” Nanami replied boredly, walking towards Megumi’s desk.
“You’re still mean, Nanamin.” Gojo said, pouting, sending a wink towards you.
“Make sure to put (L/N) san’s appointment at three tomorrow.” he said briefly over the desk. Nodding, Megumi typed it into the shop’s desktop, scrolling through the list of names that were prior to yours.
“It’s done. Again, tomorrow. At three.” Nanami said, displaying three of his fingers to make sure to get his point across. Raising three fingers of your own, you spoke.
“Three. Got it.” stepping out of the entrance of the shop.
‘It sounded attractive when he said my name.’
Tumblr media
“So you’re telling me that you walked into a shop of drop dead gorgeous models… who would tattoo on your body?” Mai said, taking a bite out of her sandwich. “Yes.” you answered, hand reaching for the flavored milk.
“What’s the name of the studio again?” she said, fishing her phone out of her handbag. “The night parade.” you said, taking a sip out of your straw. You watched as she squinted at her phone.
“What is this slug doing here?” she said in a disgusted tone. Eye furrowing at the comment you became curious.
“Who are you talking about?” you asked, lips separating from the straw of your carton.
“This guy here.” she said, taking the sandwich into her mouth, her now free hand pointing towards the familiar black spiky haired young boy who had a peace sign in the air with a bored expression on his face.
“Ahh… Megumi? Seems to be the receptionist at the night parade. How do you know him?” you asked.
“He studies a year below Maki. Came over to my house for tutoring sessions from her a few times. He is so full of himself and really acts like an all knowing brat. As if he didn’t need those extra tutoring lessons. If that wasn’t enough, he is also a relative of ours. Despite the fact that I am supposed to be on equal footing as an aunt, the brat shows me no respect.” Mai said, huffing up her cheeks in childish frustration towards the young boy.
“You’re just a year older than him, Mai. Never would’ve thought of you to be the type who likes being called ‘auntie’.” you said teasingly as Mai feigned horror at your words.
“You are just as horrid as he is!” Mai said, hitting you lightly while you laughed.
Your friendship with Mai had been a very odd one. Although she was pretty, she seemed to never attract the crowd towards her, earning the name of being the cold queen. It wasn’t until you had been paired with Todou, Kamo, Miwa and Momo, you realized you didn’t have a stable group of friends. The assignment was more of an excuse that made you spend time together and as it went by, the most you grew attached to, was Mai. She had principles, and a goal she was after; to surpass her sister. Soon, she had opened up to being dependent on you, calling late nights when there was a fight at the Zenin estate or crashing at your apartment when things got worse and she needed peace. Such circumstances could cause the friendship between two very different people to become as thick as thieves. Looking back, you wondered how your social life would’ve been in university had you never spent any time with Mai.
“Hey, Mai…” you said mindlessly staring out into the corridor where students had sat in groups together.
Humming in response, Mai turned to take a quick glance at you, one hand on her phone while the other tapped against the wood of the table.
“Where do you think we would’ve been in the past or would be five years from here?” you asked. You often wondered if you would have the same people in your life in the future as much as you did in the present. Asking was always a taboo as it would put pressure on your relationship; yet you were curious to know what her answer would be. “What kind of a question is that?” Mai said with her ridiculous expression. “It is what it is, Mai… a question. It depends on how you answer it…” you said, eyes trained on her. Taking a few silent moments with her eyebrows furrowed, she clicked her phone shut before responding.
“Ask me again in five years and we’ll see where it goes.”
“People usually say things like ‘Oh nooo we’ll be together even after years’ or ‘Even if we part ways it would always work out’ and then there’s you.” you responded. “Your fault for asking such a question, weirdo.” Mai said with a huff. With a small smile stretched across your lips, you shook your head taking a long last sip till the carton was empty. Stretching her hand to place it on top of yours, she gave you a furrow before speaking once more.
“Only time can tell… let’s stay in the present, thinking about what job we’ll have to take once we leave university. Maybe then we can see where this goes in five years…”
“When you become the head lady of the Zenin household?” you snorted smugly. “It's a much better option than letting Naoya claim that position.” Mai said, gritting her teeth. “I agree. Seems like running away from family situations is all we really have at this point.” you said with a sigh. Lifting your phone from the wooden table, the time was close to two forty. “Okay… That’s my time to run to the shop. Do you want to come with me?” you asked, slipping your phone into your pocket while getting up from the chair to leave.
“Nah, I have to get to a meeting with Kamo. And I’d rather not see that little slug, now that I know he is the receptionist in the shop.” Mai said with a casual wave of her hand. “Alright… see you later Mai.” you said, throwing the empty carton of milk on your way out. “Send me an update once you’re done with the tattoo !!” she said with a wave.
“Sure thing!” you yelled back, pulling the door away to step out of the building. The tattoo shop was not too far, with it being a thirty minute walk. Deciding to run, you made a quick jog across the nearly crowded streets of midday Tokyo. Standing outside the shop, you checked your phone again, hoping that you had made it on time.
“You’re three minutes late.” a familiar raspy voice said. Panting for breath, you looked to the side, seeing Nanami standing with his shoulder leaning against the glass window of the shop, one hand carrying a bag of foods from the nearby bakery. Stepping around your figure, he opened the door before you, quirking an eyebrow in silent command to enter.
Stepping into the shop, you dropped your book bag to your knees and took a seat, absorbing a moment to catch your breath.
“Get her some water Gojo” Nanami said walking past the white haired man who was seated at Megumi’s desk, the spiky raven haired male nowhere to be seen in sight. Rubbing your arm in anticipation you watched the white hair male give a silent nod, getting up from his seat to fill you a glass.
“Don’t you look like you’ve run an olympics?” he said with a light tease. “If you consider university as the starting line, sure.” you retorted, muttering a quick thanks before gulping huge sips of water, drops of it flowing down your chin. Holding the now empty glass, you looked up at Satoru, his face contorting into an expression of amusement.
“Right this way,” Satoru said, taking the glass from your hands while the other gestured towards the room you had been to earlier. Stepping into their workspace, you looked at Nanami who was arranging through the tracing paper on his desk. Taking out the delicately drawn stencil, he placed it before you, glancing at you for approval.
“Maybe we should put it on your skin before deciding if you like it or not.” he said, turning towards the box of gloves that were placed on the desk.
“Before I start, I might have to ask you to show me your ID.” Nanami said, gazing at you. “Nanamin” Satoru said with feign hurt stepping into the room, placing one hand against his chest as you rummaged through your bag to find your wallet which contained your University ID. “It is rude to ask a woman her age!” Satoru exclaimed as you pulled out your ID and handed it to the tattoo artist who stood before you.
Ignoring the white haired male, Nanami’s eyebrows furrowed as he read the details of the ID. “Alright, we’re good to go.” Nanami said, handing your ID back to you. Setting your bookbag onto the floor near you, Nanami made quick steps to the metal table placed in the corner of the room, dragging the wheels beneath it to bring it near the chair. With a wave of his tattooed arm towards the empty seat, you sat down hesitantly, dropping your book bag to the side. Settling into the back of the chair, Nanami stared at you from his seat. Eyebrows raised at him, he leaned forward, placing both his arms on his muscular thighs> “Below your collarbone.”
You felt your face heat up at the thought of having to take your shirt off. There have been times where you had, but it made you nervous to do it in front of an attractive stranger who was no less ready to turn your skin into his canvas. Shyly looking to the side, you twisted the hem of your shirt in your fists.
“Get her a sheet from the cupboard.” Nanami said, turning to Gojo who was leaning against the doorframe, watching the both of you.
“Seems like I’ve gone from being a tattoo artist to an errand boy.” Gojo remarked, turning his back to go towards the cupboard of supplies. Rolling his eyes at the response, Nanami turned to you.
There was an awkward silence between the two of you, causing you to look around the room instead of staring at the tattoo artist for too long. It wasn’t long before Gojo returned into the room with a sheet. Handing it over to you, you slipped it into your shirt, covering the too revealing part of your chest that the bra couldn’t hide. Slipping the shirt off, you adjusted the hem of the cloth until you were satisfied with the result of being decently covered. Turning towards Nanami, he pushed his feet, moving the chair closer to you. Taking a shaving blade, he began to dab your skin with water before dragging the blade down on the sensitive patch of skin under your collarbone. Eyes dragging from the blonde dyed hair, you noticed more features such as the piercing that sat over his left eyebrow, the silver ball winking at you under the light of the studio; the tip of his nose that seemed to give him an eccentric personality and the bow of his lips that seemed to be parted in focus as he worked the sharp object over your skin. Taking a towel to wipe it down, you watched as Nanami placed the tracing paper over the patch of skin before pulling it away slowly with the lightest touch, leaving a blue imprint over the area. “Take a look in the mirror and let me know if we need to shift it.” he said curtly, turning to the mirror that was placed on the opposite wall. Holding the sheet close to your chest, you walked towards the mirror, watching the once far away piece of ink become more clear as you stepped closer. It was a simple design, a swallow flying down the bone of your collarbone, carrying a letter that was sealed with a wax stamp. Smiling at the cute tattoo, you watched Nanami’s reflection in the mirror, staring at you. With a nod at him, he turned to the side, rummaging through the ink he had arranged into the compartments of the metal table.
“Color or black?” Nanami asked, hands busy opening the tray of caps that was used to fill ink.
“Color please.” you said, turning around to return to the chair. Placing yourself in the seat, you watched as Nanami poured various inks meticulously whilst eyeing the bottles of blue, red, black, white and yellow.
Dipping the machine into the ink he brought the needle close, drawing a line on your skin. Feeling the object prick your skin, you let out a hiss. “First time huh” Gojo said smugly from the corner of the room as he watched Nanami tattoo.
“Yeah…” you said breathily. “Relax your body. Stiffening it will only make the needle more difficult to pass through your skin.” Nanami said, drawing another line onto your skin. Thinking of a way to distract yourself, you thought of ways to make you relax, trying to block out the noise of the tattoo machine. “Why did you decide to get a tattoo?” Nanami said breaking you away from your thoughts. You blinked in surprise, not expecting him to talk due to his stoic like personality. Looking down at the wooden floor of the studio, you searched for the right words before answering him.
“I wanted to do something different as it would be the last year of university for me.”
“Do you even know the rules of living in Japan? Tattoos are not something to be proud of and considered rather useless. Are you that eager to be told to get away from restaurants or onsens?” Nanami asked, moving the tattoo machine back and forth, eyes trailing on your skin. “I am aware of the rules… but if that is the price I have to pay then so be it, I guess. Not getting a tattoo for the sake of escaping these problems was not a solution. If there is a problem, there is always a way to fix it like makeup or skin patches. Even if you have people who would hate you for who you are, there would always be more who would admire you for it.” you replied with a slight smile.
Moving his other hand, Nanami wiped away the pooling blood, ready to start coloring your skin again. Letting a few moments pass, you bit the inner side of your cheek, deciding it was your turn to begin a conversation.
“How long has it been since you’ve tattooed?” you asked. Furrowing his eyebrows in thought, Nanami pulled away from your skin, repeating the process of wiping away the excess ink and blood from your skin while dipping the tip of the machine into more ink.
“It’s been about ten years now. I began with being an apprentice at the age of eighteen. Turned in my sketches when I was twenty and started taking in clients when my mentor approved.” Nanami replied. Twisting your lips in curiosity to know more about the tattoo artist, you decided it was best to not pester to know more about him despite how much your brain screamed at you to talk to him.
“If you have anything more to say, then say it. You won’t be moving from that chair for the next hour.” Nanami said with a sigh. Eyebrows raising at the remark he made, you mentally smiled at the thought of having your silent wish come true.
“So… how’d you wind up in Tokyo?” you asked.
“I was in my second year of university. By day I was a student and by night I had become an apprentice around the shop. Did a part time of keeping it clean and looking after it if the owners were out along with keeping the supplies in. Gojo san was one year ahead of me and we both studied at the same university, here in Tokyo. It wasn’t long before the owners decided to move to the states, and they didn’t want to abandon the place, so we took over it.” Nanami answered.
‘His voice is oddly very calming.’
“Hm…” you made the sound mindlessly, eyes shifting to the tattoos that covered his skin. The ones that captivated you the most were the dahlia tattoos that rested on top of the surface of his bicep. Eyes trailing down, you noticed he had more traditional tattoos, stopping at his wrist.
“When did you get all these tattoos?” you asked, head shifting to get a better look at the art that splayed out on the arm before you.
“Over the years. First one was on my twentieth birthday and the last one was a year ago.” Nanami said as he stopped tattooing. “You have to stop moving,” he added.
Settling into the seat, you let silence wash over the both of you as you watched him pinch his eyebrows in focus, making sure to cover the spots of skin correctly. It was the repeated process of dragging the tattoo machine over the skin and then lifting the cloth to wipe away at the pool of blood. Letting minutes go by, you turned to face the ceiling, your body growing numb to the pain as you let your shoulders fall by your side.
“It’s done.” a baritone said, getting your attention towards the puffed up skin beneath your collarbone. Pushing himself away from you, Nanami gave you space to collect yourself. Eyes moving up to meet him, he gave a shake of his head, silently asking you to stand in front of the mirror. Walking towards the mirror, you were stunned to the sight covered in permanent ink rather than pen ink. You watched as the shade of the swallow faded from a light blue to a dark tone towards the tail with an old looking letter that was sealed with a wax stamp. Letting out a squeal of joy, you watched Nanami’s reflection in the mirror, smiling at your reaction towards his tattoo. “I love it!” you said, stomping your feet as you tied the sheet around your body. Taking hurried steps towards him, you pulled him in for a quick hug. “Thank you so much, Nanami san!” you said arms clasping tightly around him. Feeling him stiffen in your arms, you felt your shoulders sag from his lack of response, mentally cringing at your actions and feeling embarrassed. You were about to pull away when you felt his hands crawl up behind your back, one placed at your shoulder while the other awkwardly held onto your mid back.
“You should let that tattoo rest before taking quick actions, miss (L/N).”
You felt your heart flutter at his words and warmth at the fact that he returned the gesture rather than rejecting it. Pulling away from you, he placed a wrap over the tattoo while giving you instructions for it to heal. Picking up your discarded shirt, you carefully change making sure to not let the edge of the cloth touch your healing skin, folding the sheet Nanami gave earlier. Picking up your bag, you fished out your phone, deciding to take a picture of the memorable experience before deciding to head home.
“Thank you, Gojo kun.” you said, placing the folded sheet on the desk where he sat. Blue eyes snapping to you, he saw the light wrap below your collarbone, peeking out of your shirt. “Anytime.” he simply replied; “Did you like the tattoo?” he further asked.
“I absolutely love it.” you said with a bright smile, giving him a thumbs up. “Well, you better. Nanamin worked on it all night.” he said with playful aggression.
“He worked on it all night?” you asked, stunned at his statement. “Simple designs are the hardest to make,” he said with a shrug. You were disturbed by the sound of Nanami groaning in pain, massaging the back of his neck as he walked to the opposite side of the studio, wanting to get himself a glass of water. Clearing your throat towards Satoru, you spoke.
“So… how much did my bill come to?” you questioned awkwardly. “Oi, Nanamin.” Satoru yelled across the room, causing Nanami to turn around. “How much does the client have to pay you?” he asked. Looking back and forth between the two of you, Nanami bit his lip in focus on the price you were bound to pay.
“This one’s on the house.” he muttered, putting his bottle away with a small clatter, turning to throw on his coat and leave for home.
“Hah?” you let out a loud gasp. Turning to face Satoru, you decide to ask him instead.
“How much does a tattoo of this size usually cost?”.
“If Nanamin says it's on the house, then it's on the house.” Satoru said in a sing-song voice. Eyebrows furrowing, you turned your gaze to Nanami who was scrolling through his phone. Walking towards the couch he sat on that was placed on the opposite wall, you came to a stop before his feet.
“How much do I have to pay you, Nanami san?” you said, hand moving around your bag to find your wallet. “It is fine, miss (L/N).” he said, pulling out his shades from the pocket of his coat. “I insist, Nanami san. This is business. Doesn’t matter if it was my first time getting a tattoo or not. I want to contribute to the well being of your shop, financially as well as be a paying customer since my ego and dignity will not allow it.” you said firmly. Brown orbs gazing up to meet yours, he let out a sigh before settling on the final price.
“It’ll be 12000 yen.”
Taking the bills from your purse, you handed the cash to Nanami, who took them and shoved it into his pocket, not bothering to count the bills.
“Why didn’t you check the number I gave?” you asked curiously.
“Didn’t need to. I just know.” he said shortly, getting up and moving around you.
Stunned at his choice of words, you turned around quickly calling out to him to wait. “Is it alright if we took a picture? I want to keep this as a part of an album I’ve been working on…” you said hesitantly. Quirking an eyebrow at you, Nanami turned to Satoru who grabbed your phone and took a selfie with all the three of you in it.
“Thank you for today and I hope you have a good evening!” you said, opening the door of the shop. “Do come back again!” Satoru called out after you while Nanami leaned over the desk to check the records of the shop. Shooting both of them a smile and a wave, you turned towards home, sad at the fact that you had to leave but satisfied with creating a memory of the first time you had a permanent piece of art on your skin.
“You should let that tattoo rest before taking quick actions, miss (L/N).”
You blushed as his words repeated in your head, his voice distinct and raspy, mentally giggling over the way he addressed you. That night, you laid in bed, thumbing his face in the photo, admiring his features. Your heart fluttered while reminiscing the short conversation you had in the shop, but ached that it was short lived.
‘I want to see him smile more…’ you yearned as you drifted off to sleep, wondering if you would ever meet Nanami again.

“That’s really well done. He spent the whole night making that?” Mai asked, leaning close to your shoulder to get a better look of the simple design. “That’s what Gojo san told me.” you said, shrugging. “Should’ve taken this guy’s number.” Mai said, clicking her tongue.
“Uh… no.” you said awkwardly. “Why not? If you claimed he was hot, had an amazing voice and was able to make a conversation with you despite having the personality of a log, I’m sure you two would have it off very well!” Mai argued back, pitch a bit higher than yours. Sighing, you used a tender grip to shift the clothing from the side of your shoulder to the top to the top of it.
“It is very unprofessional, Mai. All I wanted was to get a tattoo, which I did. It is sad that I have to leave, but I did enjoy the short amount of time I had with him.” you replied.
“Your social and love life are tragic.” Mai said, flopping on the couch right next to you.
“Hear hear.” you retorted with the roll of your eyes.
“Let’s go clubbing this weekend.” Mai said. “And why would I want to do that? Didn’t we just go last week?” you asked, furrowing your eyebrows at her statement.
“That was before you got the tattoo, met a ‘hot’ guy according to your standards. And now, you’re sad about missing your chance to get to know,  just because it is unprofessional even though you did have a full blown out conversation where he told you about himself and did a tattoo for you that took him the whole night to design. For the record, he even told you not pay. Who does that?” Mai said in a matter of fact manner. “I don’t want to build a relationship off baseless assumptions, Mai. I was his client and that was it.” you reasoned in a firm yet calm tone. There wasn’t anything wrong with what she said, but what was the point if this relationship did not go anywhere. If you picked up anything about Nanami, he was still a stranger to you. Just because someone opens up a little bit, doesn’t mean they would be interested in you now would it?
“(Y/N).” Mai said, interrupting your thoughts. Giving her a confused look with the raise of your eyebrows she sighed, rolling her eyes and turning to you once more. “Confirmation. I’ll call the guys over after.” Mai said, tapping the group chat on her phone.
Pursing your lips, you nodded your head back and forth.
“Let’s do it.”
The weekend had rolled around pretty quick, given the fact that you had a busy schedule, walking with books along the long hallways, having to complete assignments, papers and tests. If anything, the club would help you loosen up a bit. Getting past the bouncer, the five of you were able to enter the club, with Mai pulling you towards the bar stools. Todou and Kamo were on the dance floor while Miwa and Momo were awkward around the area.
“Look at those two idiots dancing.” Mai said, slapping her thigh and laughing. Todou seemed to be stiff while Kamo struggled with his composure. Coming from a rather traditional background did not suffice for the air of a nightclub for it was wild compared to the tamed atmosphere of teahouses and home.
Turning to the wooden table, you were greeted with the sight of the bartender sliding a glass of alcohol towards you. “The gentleman in that corner wishes to offer this to you.” he murmured politely, causing you to turn your head to the corner. From the side of your peripheral you watched a light blue haired man raise his glass to you with a sweet yet devious grin. Furrowing your eyebrows with a snort, you picked up your glass of alcohol and began to analyze before putting it down and sliding it back towards the bartender.
“Could you convey the message; thanks for the offer?” you asked politely, turning to Mai for ordering both your drinks.
“Why didn’t you take it?” she asked hurriedly, eyes shifting from the glass of alcohol to you. “I didn’t know if it was spiked or not. Never accept drinks from strangers unless they order it in front of you.” you said, tapping with your fingernails on the table, eyeing the labels of alcohol, pondering over the thought if you could afford to get wasted tonight.
“My my, quite the wary one aren’t you?”
Turning around you were stared into the heterochromatic eyes of the said stranger.
“Have to be. I am in a club after all.” you said curtly, folding your arms over your chest.
The stranger reached out to you, offering a shake. “Mahito.”
Taking his hand into yours, you gave it a firm grip.
“(L/N).” you said curtly.
“Say, mind if I join you for a drink?” Mahito asked sweetly, holding your hand still. Pulling away your palm from his, you tilted your head towards the empty seat next to you. Moving towards the seat, you got a better look of his features. His hair was closer to pale blue with a smooth undercut that showed off the stitches that ran down his neck. Turning to the side, he gave you a smile before picking up his glass of alcohol and placing the edge of it on his lips.
“So what brings you to the club?” he asked in a silky smooth voice, body turning to the side to face you.
“I’m just a regular uni student. Decided to stop by here to blow some stress out.” you said in an exasperated voice, looking at the bartender for a drink. “A  blue lagoon for me.”
“Interesting choice. Seems like uni has been giving you a hard time.” Mahito said with a chuckle, bending over the bar table in amusement.
“Please, uni was never satisfying for anyone. If anything, it puts you through hell of a lot, just to get a qualification so that you can get a job. Besides, who would want to sit with a stack of papers for hours on end, figuring things out which have no use in the future?” you said with a shrug, taking a sip of your drink.
Mahito chuckled at your opinion, taking another sip from his drink. “That is quite the opinion regarding systems.” After a short pause, you spoke again. “So… what do you do for a living… or are you a uni student like me?” you asked, looking into his heterochromatic eyes.
“I do a lot of things for a living. Never stayed in one place for too long.” he said, staring at couples and groups, moving their bodies against one another as they danced on the floor. “You sound like a wanderer… wouldn’t be surprised of why you came to the club in the first place.” you quipped.
“Oh… I do always walk out of here with someone as a prize.” he said, sliding his hand towards you. Feeling uncomfortable, you drew yours back, with an awkward chuckle, turning to Mai whose seat was empty. Looking around, you found her to be dancing with Miwa and Momo.
“Do you want to go dancing?” Mahito asked, giving you a charming puppy eye look.
“I have two left feet, Mahito san. I’d be the last option you want to dance with.” you said, waving your hands in front of you, denying his offer.
“Oh c’mon it’ll be fun-” “Look who we have here!” a thundering smack of the table could be heard from your right, startling you.
“Do not make a scene, Gojo san.” the familiar and raspy voice said. Turning towards the duo, you felt your heart soar at the hope of both coincidence and the thoughts you had mulled over the past few days.
“How did you guys…” you trailed, looking back and forth between the two of them. “We’re here with our friend, Shoko. And… it seems like you got a little friend there.” Gojo said, head turning towards mahito who was equally as curious as them, eyeing the duo from head to toe.
“Do you mind if we take her?” Gojo asked in a smug manner, leaving no space for Mahito to argue. With a shrug of his shoulders, Mahito gave a devious and dark grin that made shivers go down your spine.
“Sure.”
Getting up from your seat along with your drink, you made way with the tall white haired man and the blonde over to a secluded spot where you could have some privacy and conversations. Seating yourselves down onto the empty seats, Nanami sat next to Gojo while the seat near you was vacant. A woman in a dark maroon shirt along with a pair of black pants joined the three of you, giving you a tired smile as she slid into the empty chair beside you. “(Y/N) chan, this is Ieri Shoko, Shoko, this is (L/N) (F/N).” Gojo said, waving between the both of you. Giving you a slight bow, you returned the gesture with a smile before turning towards the duo who were seated across you. “So… how did you know Nanami and this idiot?” Ieri asked, while Satoru protested and pouted in the background at the insult. “Nanami was the first artist I ever went to, to get a tattoo.” you said shyly.
“Have you been taking good care of it, Miss (L/N)?” Nanami asked in a raspy voice as two mugs of beer were placed before him. “Yeah, I’ve been applying creams and wrapping it before I take a shower. It’s been healing well.” you responded, eyeing the two glasses of alcohol that was placed before you.
“May I see your tattoo?” Ieri asked gently, wrists under her chin, her eyes meeting yours. With a gentle nod, you slipped a bit of your clothing away from the collarbone of your body, revealing the piece of art Nanami had created on you.
“Cute.” Shoko said with a smile. “Your skin is in great condition too.” she said, taking a mug of beer from across the table. “Ieri is a doctor by the way.” Gojo said, taking his cherry sweet soda. “And you don’t drink any alcohol?” you asked. “He’s a lightweight when it comes to alcohol. We went for shots on his birthday once and look where that got him.” Shoko said, scrolling through her phone. Bringing it close to your face, you were surprised to see the sight of Satoru walking in a drunken state only to hug and rub a pole while crying about having no friends to crashing out in a bush and sleeping. Snorting at the clipping, you covered your mouth to prevent laughs while Nanami shook his head in disappointment.
“One tequila shot.” Shoko said, raising a finger.
“Why do I even hang around you?” Gojo said with a sigh, holding onto his bottle of cherry soda.
“Because you don’t have any other friends. And even if you did, they would lose respect for you just like I did.” Nanami said, bringing his lips the glass of beer and downing it in six gulps. Staring at the sight before you with raised eyebrows, Nanami gave you a shy smile, proceeding to play with empty glass by turning it around.
“That’s a statement to be aimed at the doctor who has bad habits like heavy smoking and drinking Nanamin. And you have no shame either, drinking away to glory, leaving me to pay the bills.” Gojo whined.
“Second heavy, compared to me.” Shoko said with a grin, finishing the last of her beer, ready to go another round. The bartender would walk around the table for the next hour while Nanami sat across the table from you, laughing and commenting at Ieri and Satoru’s antics. Stepping out of the club, you were quick to shoot a message in the group chat.
“Leaving for home. See you guys tomorrow :) “
Sent.
“Make sure to use condoms.”
Notification from Mai.
Feeling the heat rush to your cheeks you were eager to put your phone away into your bag whilst Satoru paid the bills for the insane amount of alcohol both Ieri and Nanami were responsible for drinking.
“I’ll drop you home.” Nanami said, settling on his bike, passing one helmet to you while Satoru and Ieri moved towards her car. “Only if it doesn’t bother you.” you said shyly, taking the helmet from him.
With a yell of your name you turned to Satoru who made a quick jog towards you. “Tell me your socials. I’ll add you.” he said hurriedly, handing you his phone. Typing in your handle, Gojo was quick to share it with Ieri. Taking out your own phone, you accepted his requests.
“We’ll stay in touch,” he said. “Take her home safely Nanamin.”
“Isn’t driving while drinking alcohol an offense to the law?” you asked, getting on the back of the bike.
“I’ve done this before. It’s fine, I know the routes around Tokyo.” Nanami said, wearing a helmet of his own. “Where do you live?” he asked, revving the engine of his bike. Giving him the address of your apartment, he was quick to follow. Holding him by the shoulders, you watched as the neon lights of the city street passed, the bike going in and out of alleys and main roads until you reached your home. Stopping before the entrance of the building, you were quick to take your helmet off and hand it to Nanami. Taking it from your hands, he lifted his own, wishing you a goodnight. “Would you like to come in? It’s rather late and I would feel bad for making you drive all the way home.” you offered.
“I do not want to cause you inconvenience, Miss (L/N). I’ll be on my way.” Nanami said.
“But I do feel like I owe you… Would you agree to get some coffee? Maybe tomorrow… or next week or… maybe not if you’re not interested…” you talked shyly, swaying back and forth on your feet.
“Tomorrow sounds pleasant.” Nanami said.
“Okay… would five thirty sound fine to you at the tattoo shop or here or I can send you the location of the shop?” you asked, showing five with your fingers.
“Five. At the entrance of your building.” he responded, raising five fingers of his own. “You better not be late,” he added.
“I’ll try.” you said meekly, heels turning around to leave.
“Good night!! “ you exclaimed, giving him a small wave.
“Sleep well.” he said in a smooth baritone, kicking the engine and driving away into the night.
Tossing in your bed while going through the feed on your phone, you looked into the corner of it, noting that it was nearly three in the morning. Deciding to take a look at your social media before calling it a day, you stared at the heart icon at the bottom.
‘Nanaminyaa has sent a request.’
‘Must be Gojo’s work.’ you retorted mentally, clicking on the confirm button, sending a request in return.
That was the night you stayed tossing and turning in your bed, afraid of what tomorrow might bring. It was also the first time you had screamed into your pillow from the level of excitement you had towards seeing the man you were starting to develop a crush on.
Tomorrow sounds pleasant.
Tumblr media
Setting down your clothes on your bed, you wondered which clothing would suit you to impress Nanami. Would a beige shirt with some brown pants do or would you rather wear something casual that was usually worn on a date? You paused at the word ‘date.’ There had been only three occasions where you had met Nanami, and in those three meetings, he had always been formal with you. Choosing to side with the beige shirt and brown pants you picked out, you got on with your day; distracting yourself from the outing you had with the tattoo artist.
Looking at the clock, you saw the minute hand touch six while the hour hand stopped at four.
‘Time to get ready.’
Fixing your clothes and make up, you made your way down the building through the elevator. Stepping out of the doors, you made a beeline for the glass doors at the entrance of your building. Walking towards it, you noticed a figure standing in a  tanned brown leather jacket whilst scrolling through his phone, looking up to see you walk towards him.
“You're late by… one minute today.” Nanami said, beginning to walk in the direction as you had, both hands shoved deep into his pocket.
Clutching the straps of your purse close to you, you made a light chuckle.
“One minute doesn’t count, Nanami san.”
“Time is money here, Miss (L/N).” Nanami siad, fixing his shades with his hand.
“Allow me to pay for your coffee then.” you said with tease, sticking your tongue out. “That wouldn’t be very chivalrous of me as a man, would it?” he countered. “We live in the twenty-first century, Nanami san. I do appreciate the gesture, but today is my treat for all the trouble I’ve caused you. With Gojo telling me that you worked on my design all night, this is the least I can do.” you replied. Letting out a sigh, you watched as Nanami adjusted his shades once more. “That idiot cannot be trusted with information.”
Reaching the coffee shop, the two of you were quick to place your orders, you were quick to sit into the spot that was secluded in the corner of the coffee house. Your eyes shifted from the wood of the coffee table to the shoes you wore, searching for words to start a conversation.
“You don’t seem to have slept well last night.” Nanami said out of the blue. Shooting him a puzzled, you settled into your chair, crossing your left leg over to your right.
“What makes you say that?”
Fiddling with the hem of his jacket, Nanami leaned forward, elbows placed on his knees while his hands hung loosely, he raised a finger to his own face, showing the area around the socket of his eye.
“It’s sunken. At this rate, you’ll get dark circles. Sleep is equally important for a human being to function.” he said.
‘Couldn’t stop thinking about you.’
“I might’ve tossed and turned through the night. That’s probably the reason why I didn’t sleep properly.” you lied. “Next time, let me know. I’ll drop with some tea. I bring it to Ieri sometimes and it worked.” he said, being interrupted by the barista who had placed the tea before him. Reaching for your drinks at the same time, Nanami and your hands touched and this was the second time you had felt his skin brush against yours after the evening you had spent in his tattoo shop. Quickly reaching out for his cup, Nanami settled back into his chair, taking a sip of the hot drink, leaving to quell in the thoughts of being giddy. Conversations between the two of you continued, based on your likes, dislikes and what you did in your free time.
“Aren’t you fit for being the perfect househusband?” you chuckled, placing the empty glass back onto the coffee table.
“In reference to?” Nanami said casually, placing his own cup next to yours.
“Think about it, you cook in your spare time. Looks like misogyny has turned tables on us hasn't it. Have you ever given thought about settling down?” you asked, watching as Nanami squirmed in his seat. Letting a huff out of your nose, you knew you had overstepped.
“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have prodded you so much.” you said meekly.
“It’s fine. Truth is, I didn’t plan on settling down with someone while I still worked as a tattoo artist.” Nanami said, straightening his back and stretching out his legs from his chair.
“Why not?” you asked, blinking in confusion. “People are usually attracted to art… I’m sure they would love what you do.” Adjusting his glasses with the clearance of his throat, Nanami looked at you, biting the inner side of his cheek.
“I’d rather stick to a well paying job rather than settle for something third rate which satisfies my passion rather than paying the bills.” Nanami said, crossing one leg over another.
“Very realistic.” you remarked, nodding your head at his explanation. “Don’t you think that the person you decide to settle down with in the first place would like you for who you are rather than worry about the bills?” you asked.
“The world works in a different way, miss (L/N). Tattooing might seem like my passion, but in practice, it is shit. And so is working in an office.” Nanami said with ferocity, emphasizing the hate he had for cubicles.
“And how… Did that happen?” you enquired. “I might have a lot of tattoos, but it is not entirely impossible when all you wear are suits, full sleeved shirts and most of all… if the company was Jujutsu tech. A lot of people have tattoos there. But rather than working in a company among limited options whose salary is shit, I’d rather do something second rate in comparison to that.” he concluded. “Shall we get going?” he asked, getting up from his chair, turning to face you. Nodding, you stood up from your own as Nanami walked ahead of you. Opening the glass door of the shop, the old lady from the counter thanked you for your visit with a bow while you did the same.
“He opens doors for you? That one’s a keeper. Have a good evening, lovebirds.” she said with a chuckle, turning around to place an order of coffee. Speed Walking from the coffee shop till you were at a good distance, Nanami cleared his throat, until there was a group of chirps behind him. Turning both of your  heads back, you saw a bunch of baby chicks following the two of you. As Nanami walked to the side, the chicks still followed him. Hearing you chortle, Nanami adjusted his glasses as a show of disapproval. “This is a rather serious situation, Miss (Y/N).” Nanami said.
“I can’t take them to my apartment. The owners have strict rules about that. Where do you live?” you reasoned.
“I live with Gojo san in a shared apartment.” he muttered, unpleased.
“I thought you didn’t get along well with him…?” you asked in confusion from replaying the flashbacks of Nanami’s hostility. “Don’t get confused. I would trust the man with my life. But it doesn’t cover the fact that he is a shit human.” Nanami stated. “Is the place spacious?” you asked. “Gojo san is rich. And if anything, that apartment is oozing with money from the amount of useless things he buys and throws away.” Nanami stated.
“Alright then. Time for you to take these baby chicks home.” you said, looking up at him as the three chicks chirped. “ I certainly won’t be taking them home, Miss (L/N). Gojo san is irresponsible when it comes to taking care of things, and neither will I be taking care of something that I’m not willing to take care of.” Nanami said, sternly. “You know what… you’re right. If I can’t take care of it, I mustn’t ask that of someone else…” you replied. Pouting, you bent over the group of chicks, touching each chick’s head with the pad of your finger.
“I hope you find a new home soon.” you said, beginning to walk the other way. It wasn’t until you had walked a few meters ahead, you realized Nanami was nowhere near you. Turning back you watched him walk towards you, holding his folded jacket, chirps coming from them.
You stared at him with raised eyebrows as he caught up to you.
“Do not ask.” is all he muttered, walking ahead of you. With a smile playing on your lips you walked down the street ahead of you, as the sun set.
You awoke to a string of messages from a shared chat. Notification from Gojo Satoru : Look at what came in last night !!
*Sent Image attachment*
Opening it, you watched him film Nanami walking towards the Kitchen counter with the three baby chicks trailing behind him. “Nanamin’s a dad now !! Ayy don’t peck me!” Gojo exclaimed from behind the camera, giving a few pats on Nanami’s shoulder.
Notification from Ieri Shoko : Nanami, there is more chaos in your life.
Tapping away on the keypad of the chatroom, you sent the message before starting your daily routine for class.
“Thank you for taking care of them”
“You sure are becoming a changed man, Nanamin. Are you sure you don’t have a fever?” Gojo asked, reaching to touch the man’s forehead.
Slapping away his hand in offense, causing the white haired man to pout, Nanami responded.
“I am perfectly fine.”
“No you’re not. I can tell you have a little something for (Y/N) chan…” he said cheekily.
“That is one of the reasons why you shouldn’t work at the shop, Gojo san. You are highly unprofessional with clients and now, you’re making me get caught up in a set of your own fantasies.” Nanami stated bluntly.
“You’re so mean. But look, you brought these babies home. And you’re not usually one to do that right. What made you change your mind?” Gojo debated, gesturing wildly to the chicks that they had kept in a small structure made of wood.
“Just happened to imprint on me and they won’t leave me alone.” Nanami reasoned.
“There has to be more to that. (Y/N) even responded with a ‘Thank you for taking care of them.’ Did she not?” Gojo argued, waving his phone in the air with the evidence of the chat.
Body going stoic was the first mistake Nanami made, and Satoru had noticed it.
“You sure have a little something don’t you Nanamin?” he said poking the sides of the blonde man. “You’ve been watching too many episodes of Japanese housewives. Get a job, you fool.” Nanami groaned, getting up from the table to grab his jacket and leave.
“You can’t fool me, Nanamin!” Gojo hollered as the blonde man stepped out of the apartment.
‘Maybe she is changing me.’
Tumblr media
It had been weeks since you had last seen Nanami. Strings of messages you sent were either opened or left unread. It made you feel easy at first, knowing that a week had gone by since the both of you weren’t very close to begin with, yet you had had pleasant conversations and memories of the stone faced blonde man. However, you could tell something was amiss in the beginning of the second week. There were no more messages, proposals of going out were ignored and so was the enquiries of the baby chicks the both of you had picked up.
“Hi… This is (Y/N). Can I know if Nanami is fine? I am really worried about him.” you typed on the keypad to Satoru. Biting your lip you began to question if this was stepping over the boundary of an ex client and tattoo artist. Your feelings were no short than affectionate for Kento, seeing the pattern of him reappearing in your dreams and the times you spent glancing out of the window wondering what he did during the lecture hours or while you studied.
Notification from Gojo Satoru : “Nanamin’s been fine !! He’s extremely busy with clients. You should stop by the shop soon if you want to meet him. He isn’t very tech bent if you get what I mean. He’s a very old fashioned old man (((o(°▽°)o)))”
‘That was fast.’
Making up your mind after the rational and irrational thoughts of how Nanami would react to seeing you out of the blue, you decided to make a quick walk to the shop. Coming to a stop at the front door, you took a breath opening the door and walking in. “(Y/N) chan !!” Gojo waved from the corner of the room, pointing towards the seat in front of him. Walking towards the tall snow haired man, he gestured for you to take a seat, placing his wrists under his chin after. “He’s in with a client. Seems like it’ll be you and me today.” Gojo said with a light laugh, pouring a glass of water. “Oh…” was all you could utter, mentally berating yourself for even coming here. Taking the glass of water, you began to chug the liquid down, earning an amused look from Satoru as your nerves calmed down from the coldness of the fluid.
Hearing the door open behind you, you watched as a client walked out with Nanami after walking towards the desk.
“Thank you for the tattoo, Nanami san.” the client said, placing the bills on the tray before the computer while Megumi managed the accounting part of it.
“It was a pleasure doing business with you.” Kento replied in a silky, smooth voice.
Seeing Nanami again, spared a flame in your stomach, making butterflies flutter at the sound of his voice.
Looking towards the corner where you and Gojo sat, Nanami’s eyes narrowed into slits, unpleased.
“Gojo san, how many times have I told you to not entertain people who aren’t clients in the shop?” Nanami said venomously. You furrowed your eyebrows at the tone as well as the statement he used.
“Nanamin, she’s (Y/N) chan, our friend. And even if I invited her, this is my shop.” Satoru stated politely yet firmly.
“For you, she might be. But there are more places to gather rather than the space where we work. Have you forgotten that business cannot mix with pleasure, Gojo san? Or must I remind you every time about this?” Nanami said, folding his arms across his torso.
‘I really shouldn’t have come here.’
Before Satoru could argue, you placed a hand before him, stopping him mid accusation.
“I am sorry to have bothered you, Nanami san. I’ll be more mindful about that and not interrupt you again. While the job lasted, I enjoyed spending my time here. But now that I’ve gotten what I wanted and came for, there is no reason for me to be here.” you said, turning around to leave. Lifting your hand with a heavy heart, you opened the door as unshed tears began to form at the corner of your eyes of never entering the shop again or seeing Nanami.
He made your relationship extremely clear.
It was a transactional one and it was best if you both made your separate ways.
“Good job Nanami. You fucked up the one thing and probably the only thing you had going for you.” Satoru said, flaying his hands in the air in disappointment while Nanami watched you leave.
‘Things are exactly how it should be.’
“He doesn’t like you?” Mai asked, blinking her eyes in surprise.
“From the way he said that… yeah. I thought he was comfortable with me. But then again, you can’t really tell much about a person just because you have known about them for a few days. Maybe I did come off a bit too overbearing…” you wondered out loud, staring at the quiet fish in the koi pond.
“It wasn’t your fault. If anything, he could have worded it much better. For a man of tradition, he sure doesn’t go by the old rule that a girl’s heart is one made of glass. Even the smallest of things can easily upset us. It doesn’t mean we’re weak, it just means how that thing is significant to us.” Mai said, laying a hand on your knee.
“My my, Mai. Are you reading more shoujo mangas by any chance?” you snickered while she argued.
“I was just saying it so console you!”
Hearing a ping on both your phones, you were surprised to see a message from Todou.
“Party. At my place. Reach there by eight.”
“There’s your chance to meet someone new.” Mai said with a small smile.
“Aren’t you going to message her?” Gojo asked. Silence was the only thing Nanami answered with. “She was a nice girl and probably the first one you had ever spoken to in front of me. All you ever did do after you got home was eat, drink, sleep and read. Why did you have to ruin something when it was going good for you? Are you some kind of a masochist, Nanamin?” Gojo said. Propping his legs on the coffee table with a book in hand was the only answer Gojo received in return.
“Suit yourself. Remember, there might be a chance she won’t come back.” Gojo said, standing straight from leaning over the counter to get the bag of food to feed the chicks.
Nanami was going through an inner turmoil as his life had been very mundane. It was always the same everyday. He would go to the tattoo shop, work, interact with clients only to come back home, shower, eat and sleep. The thought of changing for another person was terrifying to him, yet he couldn't stop thinking about you. You seemed so happy about the tattoo he made for you, as well as appreciated his line of work when a lot of women would rather choose men who made a 'realistic living' than that of an artist. Turning to the window, he let his thoughts take control over.
Settling down was something he had always wanted but it was never something he worked towards. Deciding for the better, he chose to let his actions unravel the next time he met you rather than being restrained by his morals and principles.
'Maybe it is time I had something good for myself.' was all he thought as he headed out of the house.
Tumblr media
“It’s so loud in here.” you said, holding one of the cups that contained alcohol. “It is supposed to be. How do you think rave parties are?” Mai said, face contorted in disgust at the taste of the concoction of alcohol into the fruit punch. Watching a sea of bodies move against each other not caring if the music was according to the beat, you felt yourself crave intimacy after watching a tall man grab a short woman by her hips, moving against her body in rhythm. It made you imagine if that’s the way Nanami would dance had he been here.
‘No point in thinking about it now.’
Watching you eye the couple, Mai nudged you. “Why don’t you go find a dance partner?” she asked. Feeling a sense of loneliness wash over you, you felt yourself giving into Mai’s tempting question. Your heart was in agreement with what she said, but your head shook in disapproval. ‘It’s too soon to move on.’
‘I want to remember his voice.’
From the corner of your eye, you watched as a figure with dark hair stared at you. His body moving according to rhythm, shooting a shy smile at you from the corner of the room.
‘Fuck it.’
Placing your glass over the table, you moved among the sweaty bodies of the crowd to join him. “Hey” he said in a gravely deep voice. Under the fluorescent lights, you could make out the deep gash that ran on the side of his face.
“And you are…?” you asked, tapping your feet to the rhythm of the music.
“Muta Kokichi. I’m…”, “Mechamaru. He’s in our year. Fucker just got out of the hospital a week ago. Got into a crazy bike accident.” Todou interrupted, one hand placed on his waist while the other pointed in the air.
“Mechamaru?” you asked, amused by the discovery of his nickname.
“Yeah… that’s what they call me on the road since I’m a mechanic.” he said with a shrug. “Wanna dance?” he asked, one hand stretched out towards you. Accepting his hand, you made small moves causing you to giggle. Dancing after a while felt good. The last time you had a chance to, you had spent the time with Nanami and his friends instead. Throwing up your hands in the air gave you a sense of freedom, moving your body according to the beat, feeling the ambience and music with your eyes closed, trying to forget the memories you had built over the past many weeks with Nanami. A slow friendship was ruined and you were left with nothing but unrequited feelings. It wasn’t wrong to forget him, was it?
Feeling a hot breath near your ear, you gave into the figure ahead of you.
“Wanna get out of here?”
Opening your eyes you stared into a pair of brown eyes, but they weren’t the ones you wanted to look into.
‘I can’t be satisfied until it is him… huh.’
“Sorry, Mechamaru. It was nice for the time we had, I should get going now.” you said, turning to leave. Making your way through the crowd, you reached the end of it where Mai was, bored with a cup along with a man she didn’t seem to be interested in who was talking her ear off.
“What happened to you?” she asked as you stumbled your way across the crowd.
“I can’t do this, Mai. I need time and… I don’t want to rush into it.” you said, exasperatedly.
Grabbing you by the hand she guided you till you were out of Todou’s apartment, pressing the button for the elevator.
Reaching at the bottom, the two of you slowly made your way out of the building, walking in the empty streets of Tokyo. Todou’s apartment wasn’t very far but it was quite the distance in terms of walking. A flash of light was seen ahead of you, with the revving of engines. Turning your head to the side, you were surprised to see Nanami’s bike along with another that seemed to be Gojo's.
“Yo, (Y/N) chan! Don’t you look hammered?” Gojo said with the wave of his hand as he took of his helmet.
“I’m not hammered. Just a little tipsy.” You protested.
“Hmm sure. Where are you guys going?” Gojo aside, resting his hands on the front of the bike.
“We’re headed home. Now if you excuse us, we’ll be on our way.” Mai said coldly, turning around with your hand in her grip to leave.
“We could give you a lift.” Gojo offered with the wave of his hand. “Right, Nanami?”
“How very chivalrous of you. Maybe if you exhibited that kind of behavior, I would’ve considered it. But since the odds are not in our favor, we might as well just leave for home on foot.” Mai said.
Kicking the bike on the stand while grabbing a spare helmet, Nanami was quick to move towards you, covering you with his jacket. Fastening the buckle under your chin, he said softly, “I’ll drive you home.” Satoru did the same with Mai, leaving in the opposite direction of where you lived, leaving the two of you alone.
The drive towards your house was a silent one.
“Nanami san… can I ask you something?” you asked in your tipsy state, earning nothing but a silent response.
“Why were you so mean to me the other day? Did I make you angry?” you asked, curling your arms around his waist as the wind blew in your face.
No response was heard from the blonde man for the second time either. Nuzzling into his tattooed shoulder, you whimpered.
“I don’t know what I did wrong, but I’m sorry… I’m really sorry, Nanami…” you said, hot tears escaping from the corner of your eyes, rubbing away the traitorous salt water with your hand while sniffling.
Pulling to a stop before the entrance of your building, you let your arms slip from Nanami’s waist. Getting off the bike, you tried taking your helmet off, fumbling with the buckles that were placed under your chin.
Taking off his own, Nanami moved towards you, putting his bike on stand. With nimble fingers he unhooked your helmet.
“Thank you for the lift Nanami san. Good night.” you said with a formal bow. Sighing through your nose, you were about to turn and leave when you felt a pull of your shoulder towards the front until you crashed into a sturdy figure. Hands secured behind your back, Nanami pulled you further into him until you felt his muscles brush against the skin of your torso.
“This feels nice.” was all he muttered into your shoulder.
“Nanami san, there are people looking…” you said, becoming aware that the entrance to your building was made of glass, the residents peering through the transparent surface to see who you were with.
“They’ll forget about it tomorrow.” he said, fingers digging into your skin.
Stiff at the position, you returned the hug, curling your arms around the blonde man’s shoulders. Rubbing at the cloth on his back, you felt his muscles relax, becoming heavy against your body.
“As much as I’d like to stay, I can’t breathe and I think my eyes are about to shut.” you said with a sleepy smile.
Letting go of you, Nanami let his arms fall from your figure. Taking a few steps back, you realized you still had his jacket on you. Taking it off, he stopped your hand.
“You can give it to me tomorrow.”
It was an excuse he could use to see you. Maybe during the time when you weren’t so tipsy, he could confront the dreaded talk. Till then he would hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
“Okay… what time?” you said, stretching your arms out with a yawn.
“Eleven in the morning. Do not be late. The apartment is the one on the topmost floor. And if-” he rambled.
“If I am a minute late, you won’t open the door for me. Got it.” you said with a nod.
Patting a gentle hand over your head, he said with a soft smile.
“Make sure to be there, on time.” Nanami said, patting your head gently before turning to get on his bike once more.
“I will.” you said, heading towards the elevator of your building hearing the engine of Nanami’s bike fade into the distance.
That night when you crashed into your bed, you felt satisfied. ‘That was one step… maybe tomorrow would be the end of a mess.’
“So… how did it go?” Gojo asked from the couch as Nanami threw the keys into the glass bowl.
“None of your business.” he retorted.
‘So I take it all well.’
Tumblr media
Folding the brown leather jacket in half on your arm with a bag of food from the bakery in the other, you stood before the doors of the apartment Nanami had told you about the previous night. Looking at the time on your phone, you watched the time tick as you had reached ten minutes early. Deciding to stand in front of the door until the clock had struck eleven, the door opened, surprising you. Nanami stood before you in nothing but a pair of shorts, and loose shirt, showing off the body art that was permanent on his skin.
“You are rather early today, Miss (L/n).” Nanami said, looking at you up and down.
“You said a minute late and you wouldn’t open the door…” you mumbled. Opening the door wider, Nanami gestured for you to enter. Taking your shoes off at the entrance, you stepped into the spacious apartment, surprised to see the design was rather chaotic yet minimalistic.
“Tea or coffee?” Nanami asked, running a hand through his tousled hair.
“Coffee, please.” you said, walking into the living room. Staring at the paintings on the wall, you walked to the far corner of the room where you had found a framed picture. Staring at it harder, you heard the sound of porcelain clinking against the glass that it had been set on, finding Nanami to take a seat in the cushioned chair that was positioned to the side of it, while he placed the other one in the side of it.
Coming to sit near him, you asked him about the picture.
“The one on the left is me.”
“No way. You looked so different back there!” you said, nearly choking on your coffee at the thought of Nanami looking someone so different in his younger days.
“People change, Miss (L/N).” he said, dipping his bag of tea back and forth into his cup till the green of it spread into the water.
“On that note… please call me (Y/N). The use of my last name seems too formal… unless you want to keep the relations that way.” you said in a soft tone, hoping he would call you by your given name rather than your family name.
“(Y/N)...” he muttered. Watching him part his lips with the seductive gleam of the lip ring in the middle of his lower lip had heat rush to the tip of your ears and cheeks.
“I know. And It's a very pretty name.” he complimented, taking another sip from his tea. Taking a few sips from your own cup, you looked away from the blonde to stare at the city of Tokyo that never seemed to rest even if it was eleven in the morning.
“Kento.” he said suddenly, turning towards you. Raising your eyebrows in response he cleared his throat to clarify, “You can address me that…”
“Kento… Nanami Kento.” you said once more. “It has a nice ring to it.” you said with a small smile.
“It sounds better when you say it.” he said with a smirk. Feigning a surprised look, you brought a hand to your chest, staring at him wide eyed. “Did THE Nanami Kento just flirt with me?” you mocked. “And what if I did?” he simply said.
“That means you’re interested in me.” you said, placing your mug on the coffee table. Taking your chin between his forefinger and thumb, Nanami forced you to look at him.
“And what if I am?” he asked, tilting his head, eyes never wavering from yours. “Then I would give in.” you said, causing him to lean forward, his lips placed on yours softly. Eyes fluttering shut at the feeling of his lips meeting yours, a few moments passed when his lust took a carnal turn, the metal of his lip piercing brushing against your lower lip, tongue eager to explore your mouth.
Hands traveling south, he held your thighs, pulling you into him till you were on his lap. Finding balance, he placed both his hands on your hips, massaging the skin that laid beneath the fabric.
“The drinks will get cold, Kento.” you said, feeling him kiss the surface of your neck, each one more heated and needy than the last. You yelped as he gripped your thighs strongly, walking over the part of the house you didn’t know about.
“We’ve danced around each other for long enough to know what we both want, right?” he whispered into your ear, walking into a room that seemed to belong to him. Setting you on the bed, he climbed on top of you, parting your legs with his knee in between. With his figure hunched over you, he tumbed the shape of your cheek, eyes staring with nothing but admiration before diving in for more kisses. You could feel yourself smile into the kiss, not believing if it was real or not.
“Can I touch you here?” He asked huskily, licking his lower lip, eyes focused on your chest before meeting your gaze. Taking his hand, you placed it over your chest. “Yes, you can.” you said, your hand reaching up to brush some of the blonde disheveled hair from his face. Giving you another searing kiss, his hands groped your breast tender and loving until he got more rougher with his squeezes. “Does he hurt?” he rasped. “It does, but I don’t find it to be bad.” you voice back, moaning into his touch.
“Feels good?” he asked, peeling off the hem of your shirt; exposing your belly and bra covered tits to him. Securing your legs around him, you pull him into you, rubbing your greedy cunt against his clothed hardness.
“Feels really good.” you said with a vixen-like smile. “You’re tempting me.” his voice dropped to a whisper, coming close to your ear.
“Tempting you for what?” you asked, rubbing a hand over his chest.
“To ruin you.” he whispered, biting your lower lobe. Moving away from you, he moved to your clothed chest, pulling your bra down to reveal your tits. Staring at them intently, you felt shy under his gaze until he took one of your sensitive nipples into his mouth, the piercing giving you a delightfully rough edge, the other hand pressing and tugging the other hardened nipple. Your back arched into his mouth, startling him. Moaning, you run your hands through his hair, holding the blonde strands between your fingers.
Groaning, Nanami sucked while watching your face contort into that of pleasure. He felt the pressure of his pants against his hardening cock, slipping a hand down to push the hem of his shorts, he let his manhood free, jerking it into the bed sheets beneath the both of you. Pulling away with a string of saliva from your nipple, he switched to the other side to do the same,  his free hand twisting and pulling at your other wet and abused nipple.
You felt a pang of pleasure, ecstasy and pain as Nanami carried on with his ministrations. Getting up, he pulled the shirt and the bra off you, throwing them to the side of the bed, before going lower.
“It's not fair that I’m the only one who is naked.” you complained, turning to the side of your body. Getting up in a position of straddling you, Nanami took off his shirt, throwing it to the side immediately. Raising a hand, you ran your fingers through the delicate pattern that ran across his skin, colors of both dark and white mixing to form a beautiful piece of art.
“You’re beautiful.” you said mindlessly. Nanami felt heat rush to his cheeks, his heart beating wildly at the compliment. Moving his hand towards the skin under your collarbone, he rubbed at the tattoo of the swallow gently, leaning down to place a kiss on it.
“I think it's the other way around.” he said, brown eyes gazing into yours. Looking down, you saw his cock, weeping with precum and begging for attention. Flipping over, you pinned him beneath you.
“Maybe it’s time I spoiled you.” you said, kissing your way down his naked chest till you reached the dips of his hips. Placing your hand on either side of his hips, you dragged the constraining material of his shorts and boxers, making him completely nude in front of you. Nanami watched you with a predatory gaze, licking the piercing on the bottom of his lip, anticipating what your next move would be. Giving the head of his dick a few sensitive licks you swallowed the head, running the tip of your tongue across the sensitive slit as Kento placed both his hands on your face, fingers crawling to entangle within the tresses of your hair. Watching him, you began to bob your head along the shaft of his cock, pulling out moan after sinful moan from Nanami’s lips. Pulling away from his cock, you used your hand to create a filthy sound of wet schlicks, causing Kento to desperately thrust his hips into your touch. “Does that feel good, baby?” you asked, bringing the movement of your hand to a slow pace.
“Haaah, feels…” he moaned, throwing his head back against the sheets, fingers digging into the skin of your scalp gently.
“Feels what.” you commanded, stopping your fist all at once.
“Feels good.” Nanami rasped, blinking at the ceiling. Turning to position himself on his elbows, he watched you smile as his cock twitched from being unable to cum, but he wasn’t complaining. Sitting forward, he pulled you on top of him and did the same as you did to him, flipping you over.
“It’s your turn now.” he said, going down your body until he reached your pants. Bringing his fingers under the fabric, he pulled them off quickly along with your soaking panties, staring at the mess you had created between your thighs. Placing a thumb over your clit, he elicited a high pitched moan out of you. With his knees digging into the mattress, Nanami pulled your lower half onto his face, placing either of your thighs on his shoulders. Giving kisses along with a nibble on the inner skin of your thighs, he got to work, running a tongue over the lips of your pussy while he reached a hand down to play with your tits. Keeping your hands above your head, you tried to keep your sanity as Nanami began to twist and turn his tongue into your core. The lip piercing wasn’t helping either, edging you close to an orgasm.
Giving a few licks to your clit, he closed his lips around giving it a deep suck until you screamed. Shiting his head left and right, he watched as you writhed in pleasure, while he rubbed circles into your thighs with one of his hands, the other still toying with your nipple.
You felt you were about to snap when he pulled away.
“Why did you stop?” you asked, panting for breath.
“Cumming on my tongue is something we can save for another time. But now, I want you to come on my cock.” he said, giving a few pumps to his wet and hard dick. Reaching over to the side of his desk, you watched him pull out a foil, ripping it with his teeth and rolling the rubber onto his member.
Spreading your thighs wide, he slapped his cock a few times before turning to face you.
“Are you sure you want this?” he asked, gaze steady and wary.
“Yeah…Do you?” you asked. Giving you a heartfelt smile, Nanami gave you a light peck, answering with a “Yes.” before sliding into your heat, the both of you moaning. Kento hissed as he pushed more of his shaft into your fluttering hole while you felt your core throb from the stretch. It was painful but it was a pleasure.
“You okay?” Nanami asked, brushing the hair off your forehead, eyes shifting wildly for any sign of you feeling uncomfortable. Taking his hand into yours, you gave it a few light rubs. “I’m fine Kento.” you said, taking his hand to your lips, placing a light kiss. Letting a few moments pass for you to adjust to his size, Nanami began to move his hips, causing the bed to rattle and your back to move back and forth against the sheets as he placed his elbows on either side of your head. “Been thinking about this since the time I did the fucking tattoo on you.” he said, gritting his teeth, hips snapping into yours. Taking a hand to your hip, he squeezed the flesh while the other held your hand against the mattress.
“Been thinking about these fucking curves since the time you hugged me.” he confessed, now getting up to hold your hips and snap his hips even faster into yours. With a series of moans and groans, you watched as Nanami licked the tips of his fingers, rubbing circles into your clit, eager to give you the taste of pleasure.
You felt close to the edge, the sense of pleasure ready to snap. “Cum for me.” is all he commanded, causing you to close your eyes tightly, causing you to let go. You felt your body quiver as Nanami fucked you through the orgasm, each thrust reaching deeper, craving more of your warmth. You felt tears form on the corner of your eyes from the sheer overstimulation. Gritting his teeth, Nanami thrusted a few more times, cumming into the confines of the rubber. He dropped his body over as you caught your breath. Bathing in the afterglow, he laid down next to you, pulling you by your waist into him while the other arm was under your head.
Placing a kiss on your forehead, he brushed his nose against yours, causing you to giggle.
“I’m sorry.” he muttered, eyes dulling at the thought of the hurtful words he said the other day. Looking up at him. You shook your head, placing a searing kiss at the edge of his mouth.
“We can talk about that later. Drinks have gone cold and the bed is warm. I don’t want to get up.” you whined, nuzzling into the soft skin of his chest.
Choosing not to say anything, Nanami closed his eyes, happy at the fact that he had something good for once. Except for money and the thanking of customers whom he rarely saw ever again, Nanami was willing to cherish you, a more valuable memory born from under his needle.

Losers, cigarettes and bad taxidermy:
Tumblr media
Summary:  This is not the greatest fanfiction, this is just a tribute. No, all jokes aside, total comfort fic in which Eddie meets up a total fruitcake, tries to master the art of taxidermy and oh hell, might fall head over heels. Warning: drug use, no surprise there. probably some hurt/comfort, cursing, mention of mental illness, depression and some teenage touchy.
Chapter 1)The curious incident of the wolf four past midnight:
Necrotic, Eddie scribbled the word down and could practically hear the obnoxious voice of Ms. O’Donnall’s sneering in his ears about his illegible spelling.
She may have a point, but tonight Eddie blamed it on the dead-beat battery of his flashlight. He had to change position, the tombstone was digging into his spine and his ass was cramping up from the cold pedals.  ‘Necrotic, necrotic, what rhymes with necrotic?’ Eddie tapped the back of his pen rapidly against his front teeth and glanced down on his notebook; ‘psychotic, gothic, erotic?...’ he hummed, now biting down onto his pen, ‘but there is nothing erotic about necrosis… unless you are into necrophilia!’ For a moment, Eddie sensed he’d found the holy grail, scribbling down erotic, adding a double line, but then sighed and moaned. Everyone already called him a freak, if he mustered up the courage to write a song about screwing a corpse, well, that would only add fuel to the fire.
So, a thick line scratched through both necrotic and erotic. With dread, Eddie glanced down at the idle process of tonight’s creative session: about four incoherent lines and two pages of doodles.
That and the impending backache from hell made him reconsider his decision. Seriously, writing lyrics at Hawkins cemetery seemed like the most metal thing ever, but in hindsight he should have checked tonight’s weather report. For the month April, the nights were cold as fuck.
‘I bet Bruce Dickinson never suffered from pneumonia after writing a masterpiece’, Eddie wiggled his toes to get some feeling back into them. His ratty old sneakers were no match for the cold concrete.
Collecting the courage to get up and walk all the way back to his van, Eddie took off his headphones which had been blaring Black Sabbath ever since the sun went down.
Ozzy’s voice was replaced with the sounds of midnight. Crickets sang their lullabies, but aside from that and his own breathing, it was quiet. Too quiet, the type of quiet that gets on your nerves and gets you on your toes.
Eddie, metalhead in heart and soul, might have a little difficulty being alone in the dark.
‘But are you sure you’re alone?’ the little nit-picking voice in the back of his head chimed in, referring to the many horror movies he’d seen. The tiny hairs on the back of his neck spiked.
Yup, Eddie, metalhead in heart and soul, definitely had a problem with being at a cemetery, far past midnight, with a flashlight whose beam started to flicker and dim.
In a weak attempt to regain his courage, Eddie drew out his Swiss pocket knife, brushed the dust off his notebook, and got to his feet as fast as humanly possible.
He should have eaten more than one burger, or he shouldn’t have drank a whole six-pack of Primo’s.
He definitely shouldn’t have drank the whole six-pack, because aside from feeling lightheaded, his stomach started to churn.
Having at least some sense of decorum, Eddie managed to leap over the tombstone, and threw up  all over the concrete, instead of over someone’s final resting place.
Ozzy was now muffled in the mix of cheap beer and a partially digested burger, because, of course, his headphones dropped and, of course, had to land in the middle of his poor excuse for a dinner.
Eddie made a face, pulling his headphones up by the cord and shining his flashlight on them to determine the damage.
It flickered one more time and went out.
Although his head tried to be rational about the whole situation, you’re in Hawkins, no-one ever dies or goes missing here, c’mon, don’t be such a pansy, his gut told him firmly and directly, shit, shit, shit, abort, abort!
Eddie sided with his gut and ran like hell.
Eddie did not get very far.
Someone really should take it upon themselves to take better care of the cemetery. Seriously, the elderly could break their hips visiting one of their deceased loved ones, here.
A few of the cobblestones were missing and he tripped. Unceremoniously he went down, face first.
Oh, he was so glad Jeff, Grant, and Garreth weren’t here to see their Dungeon Master bitch and moan in pain, spread over the moss-covered stones of the Hawkins cemetery.
Ozzy mumbled, Eddie groaned, footsteps echoed sharply around the tombstones, the sound deafening to Eddie’s ears.
He was not alone, there was someone else in the midst of night roaming the grounds of the cemetery. Now, he highly doubted these were girl scouts going rogue.
Shit, shit, shit!!! His guts boomed in sync with his heartbeat. His sneakers scraped over the gravel, giving him away in a second and Eddie cursed himself, tweaking his eyes closed, because this was definitely one of the moves the stupid blondes made in pretty much every horror movie ever created.
As the footsteps paused and an animalist howl proclaimed the arrival of something demonic, Eddie knew one thing for sure; he was about to die.
For a moment, Eddie wondered if it was too late to switch sides- he decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and said a little prayer.
Reopening his eyes, a wolf towered over him. The mut had seen better days, its fur was thin and even in the darkness of night Eddie could count the ribs.
It was definitely hungry.
Eddie cried out like a little girl, alerting the beast, who lept about a foot into the air at the high pitched squeal echoing from the mouth of its presumed snack.
“What the fuck dude?!” One very pissed owner appeared from a line of tombstones. Holding a leash, a girl around his age dragged the wolf away from Eddie by its collar. Her extremely large motorcycle jacket seemed to be swallowing her whole and her pair of army boots nearly disappeared underneath the broad legs of her camo trousers. Eddie eyed her up and down, blinking as he spotted more silver in her ears than he had on his fingers. A nose piercing and heavily eyeliner where the cherries on top. ‘It’s no girl scout, but no serial killer either’, Eddie thought to himself, relieved.
“Why are you screaming?!” She yelled, accusingly.
“Why are you walking a wolf around at the cemetery in the middle of the night?” Eddie yelled back, accusingly as well.
“It’s a Husky!” The girl stated, still forceful.
“A Husky?!” Eddie called out, also not minding his volume. Then, he glanced at the what-he-believed-to-be-a-wolf, which, now that his adrenaline leveled out, was yes, most definitely a Husky.
“A Husky!” Eddie stated, feeling like a dumb-fuck. “Why are you walking your Husky in the middle of the night, at the cemetery?! Don’t you know it’s against the law to be here after visiting hours?!”
“And what exactly are you doing here, after visiting hours?” The girl questioned, in her defense, asking a good question.
Eddie felt called out, dramatically brushed off his knees and got up.
“I’m visiting,” Eddie glanced over at the grave beside him, “my uncle Theododris Walker.”
The girl glanced at the grave and back at Eddie: “Theo died in 1864.”
“My great-great-great uncle Theodoris Walker, may he rest in peace,” Eddie stated, placing his right hand atop of his heart.
Even the Husky didn’t look convinced. Its owner also looked uncomfortable, pulling the dog a bit further away from Eddie.
Eddie tended to have that effect on women. And kids. And on his bad days, the human race in general.
“I’ll be going then,” Eddie stated as the girl made no effort to make their conversation less awkward.
“Alright,” the girl responded, “goodnight.”
“Yeah, alright, goodnight!” Eddie said back a little ticked off, shoved his headphones over his head instinctively, realized he was smearing chunks of acid burger in his hair, yanked the headphones back off, cursed, sensed how awfully psychotic he must appear, blinked his eyes, noticed the girl just stared at him with big cow eyes, decided there was no way in hell he could smooth this one over, then turned heels and charged in one straight line back to his van.
Without tripping over his own two feet, Eddie dared to call that a humble victory.
.-.-.
A/N: So yeah, this will be a total comfort-fic, we all know why. Heads Up for a slow-burn, metal music, drugs and hurt/comfort, because that’s what I need after the last episode of Stranger Things.
Like to read your thoughts, Thank you so much my kickass beta: @sarahh-jane

Sicktember Day 26 - Tickle in Throat ALT Cuddles on the Couch - N/A - Season 3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Mr. Munson, if you would see me after class,” Mallory Lindham’s voice rings out near the end of English 4.
A few students look over at him, mostly the new ones who don’t know this is his second time taking this stupid class, the ones who think he might just look slightly older for his age. Eddie nods, caught between feeling annoyed and simply tired of the bullshit he gets from this school. He’s acutely aware he’s seen as a ‘problem’ to most the Hawkins High faculty, and he’s not going to try and dim who he is just because they think he’s too loud or distracting or stupid.
The issue isn’t that he’s stupid. He understands science and all that nerdy shit that no one except engineers use. He understands all about history and industrialization. His best class is fucking Latin 4, the class he’s somehow managed to be able to take again even though he’d aced it on his first try (with only a little help from Wayne).
No, the issue is that English is fucking hard, math is confusing, and teachers won’t listen, so he spends the classes doodling and writing lyrics and coming up with new campaigns instead of paying attention. He’s tried that already and look where it got him- another year at Hawkins High.
When the bell rings, Eddie fully intends on brushing by Mrs. Lindham and stalking out to his car for a smoke. Instead, she makes direct eye contact with him and the slender man holds back, fiddling with his rings as the teacher waits for all the other teens to clear out.
“Unfortunately, Mr. Munson,” the woman’s voice is high and grating in an uncomfortable way, making Eddie bite his lip. “I can’t allow you to repeat the same book as you did last year for the lit project. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is somewhat below the reading level, but I was generous last year. This year I need you to pick something a little more age appropriate.”
The long haired man swallows and shifts, twisting his skull ring around his finger.
“Okay, what if I did one of the Lord of the R-“
“Mr. Denison already informed me of your project from junior year,” the woman cuts in.
Feeling himself get more and more tense, the musician blows out a breath.
“This is bullshit. Why does it matter if I reread a book?”
“Mr. Munson! We’re looking to challenge you, and doing the same thing over and over isn’t doing you any good.”
“Look, I get it, alright? But we both know I suck at reading, and this is already my second year, can’t you-“
“This is your second year because you flunked this class, refused to show up to other classes half of last year, and when you did show up you didn’t take anything seriously. Maybe this year will be different, but saying you’re not good at reading isn’t an excuse. If you’d like, I can find a book for you to read.”
Jaw clenching, Eddie only nods, knowing if he tries to speak even more profanities will drop out. She looks at a piece of paper, eyes running down until she points to a few words on the page.
“The Turn of the Screw. You’ll enjoy it. It’s a gothic novel with suspense and some horror elements. It’s not terribly long either.”
“Fine.”
With that, Eddie shoulders his bag and turns, walking out and slamming the large wooden door behind him. The sound echoes in the now empty hallway. Trudging to his van, he notices Harrington and Hargrove talking, but he ignores it, instead focusing on the headache that’s planted itself on the right side of his head. All of this is fucking bullshit.
By the time he’s back at the trailer, Eddie is shivering, chilled to the bone without a working heater in his van. He’ll need to fix it Saturday, when he has time. The quick trip to the library was uneventful, going in with one thing on his mind, coming out carrying a small book by Henry James. He hopes to god the English teacher is right and it’s not as bad as he’s expecting.
Sighing and rubbing his face, he notices Wayne is already gone, no doubt getting dinner at Benny’s before a long shift. Sniffling due to the cold and his runny nose, the long haired man throws his backpack and the book he’s borrowed onto the couch, not bothering to check and see if it’s landed on its intended target.
After a shower in which he spends far too long under the spray, Eddie changes into clean black sweatpants and an old Dio tee, then yanks on a deep grey sweatshirt. The hood is up, attempting to conserve and warmth he may have left in his body, the heat from the shower dissipating quickly. Grabbing the blanket off of his bed, the extra one from his closet, and the one from the couch, he makes a small nest to bury himself in. He cuddles into the thick fabrics, imagining what it would be like to have someone else to cuddle with before finally opening the copy of the book, struggling to read the words correctly.

(Hi, me again. It made me chuckle when Virgil was having a crisis over us Watchers shape changing abilities. I must admit it sparked my own curiosity as well. Also welcome back to unofficial therapy with Virgil, brought to you by Glow Eyes.)
Not to worry Virgil, I will make the finest toad-in-the-hole with gravy, potato salad and peas that you will ever have. (The meal is totally not based on what I had a few weeks ago. (That was sarcasm by the way.)) You will not have to worry about food for a while.
I can’t make any promises about cleaning though. I am notoriously bad at that. Also good idea with the box of Remy’s stuff, I’m sure they’ll appreciate it.
I’m sure that I can speak for all Watchers when I say that we will do everything in our power to prevent you from doing anything that would hurt Remy and I can certainly speak for myself when I say I will do everything in my power to try and prevent you from hurting yourself.
*disinfects and applies bandages to Virgil’s hand*
*hands Virgil a plate of food*
*eyes glow a comforting orange*
Your doing well. I’m proud of you. Remember, baby steps.
Glow Eyes
Tw: misgendering in the under the cut part
It had been about a day since you'd last chatted with Virgil. He was laying on the couch, still in his work clothes with a half drunk bottle of beer in his hand.
When he heard your voice he groggily rubbed his eyes and squinted up at you. He'd barely talked to anyone today, not even at work. He'd forgotten to eat and drink anything until now....and well beer wasn't that good for hydrating. It had been a long while since he'd gone through an entire cigarette package in one day. A headache dunked in his head from all the ugly crying he'd done in between working.
As soon as he heard your first sentence he let up into a shit eating lil smirk "Ghostie I have no fucking idea what kind of food you just said but it sounds like shit so I assume it's british ay" He chuckled "Not like I'm gonna say no to free food like ever. 'Specially not now"
He sat up in the couch and finished the bottle. He sat it on the growing pile of trash laying on the coffee table.
“I had like thought maybe you or one of your uh friends had cleaning? powers? But I guess you gotta have some limits or you’d have destroyed the universe by now”  He scratched on the black nailpolish on his bitten down fingers “I hope Remy appreciates it too”
It took a few seconds of him making the sourest facial expression possibly before he continued.
“I uh I kinda- with Remy’s- with a lot of Remy’s stuff uh gone from the closet I saw some of my old stuff I’d put in there. I- Just- I can show you I guess. Have a laugh about it. Be two funny wankers or whatever the fuck the british say”
While he went over to the closet in the bedroom he quietly contemplated how a ghost could be british. He didn’t even want to think about the possibility that you or the other ghost could have been actual living human beings once.
He peered around in the closet before pulling out a stack of yellowing sketchbooks and taking them with him to the kitchen. He poured them out onto the floor and began to look through them while you started to make dinner.
“Believe it or not but...and this might sound shocking...But I an angsty emo used to draw angsty emo doodles in middle and high school”
He opened a random page and immediately went pale with shame. He looked like he was either going to throw up or eat the entire book in one bite.
“Oh god I’d forgotten I’d tried to calligraphy my favorite super duper deep song lyrics. Like let’s see” He fake coughed before beginning to read aloud like a Shakespeare actor “‘Whiskey seems to be my holy water’. Yes. Very deep. Very sad. For your knowledge I had not drank any alcohol by the time I wrote that down. I only drank with Remy. Drank and drank. I more like sipped on their drinks”
He skimmed through a few pages and showed you some doodles. It was mostly simple things. Skeletons, ghosts, Nightmare before Christmas drawings, band members. In the sidelines of the papers another person had chimed in with silly hearts, cartoony dick drawings and small comments.
“Doodling uhm helped with the like anxiety during class and lunch and stuff. I used to like convince Remy to not skip class by enticing them with the privilege of getting to annoy me during class. I know. How wonderful” He said dryly before letting up into a soft smile “They liked holding my hand under the table. They always got excited to compliment me on how smart they thought I was”
His eyes stagnated on a spot on the floor for a while as he got lost in thought. The sound of you chopping up the potatoes shook him back to the present.
“I am so glad you and all of your friends can only speak in those weird like...Like you can’t react to me in real time? Because OH boy if you could actually verbally react to my fuck ass 16 year olds shot at ‘creativity’ I would actually die. A bolt of lightning would instantly strike me down” He got all smug “But you can’t!! HAh! Fucker! You’re stuck in silence!”
Your eyes went a bit green which made him throw one of the sketchbooks at you knowing fully well it would just go through you.
“Don’t you Green eye me!!! I know what that means!!! How dare you be nice to me! FUCK YOU! Get out of here with your fucking british manners or whatever!! You got gross ghost slime!!”
His ears had went pink from embarrassment. He crossed his arms and tried to look as annoyed as possible without outright pouting. You just continued cooking knowing he couldn’t go that long without rambling. He was a Very lonely dude.
“I don’t really remember why I stopped drawing and stuff” He began to ramble “I guess I realized I was awful at creativity....Or well...I mean....I can guess I stopped around the time me and Remy moved here. Y’know getting a job, having to take care of them. They were still trying to work at that time and it left them like catatonic in pain most nights...And uhm their flashbacks and nightmares were even worse than they are now...It was a lot of having to get used to seeing them in pain 24/7....Lots of having to learn how to relieve the pain...lots of hospital checks....lots of seeing them struggle to get used to not...to not being abused......I guess..my interests just kinda.....got away from me”
Virgil stilled in his movements. It took a while before you even noticed the tears pressing on at the edges of his eyes. His nose went red from trying to hold them back. He wiped them away as fast he could.
“This is so stupid” He mumbled “...You’ve heard me talking.....even when it’s ‘bout my old interests everything always comes back to Remy.....i thought maybe i could find something in these books...like to show what kind of person i was before them...but...but i’m just....i’m just hollow...i’m gone...I’m- I am Nothing!”
His chest suddenly felt stiff and his eyes roamed around the room. You floated closed and said the last part of your message. About how surely all of the watchers would do everything to prevent him from ever hurting Remy ever again, and that you at least wanted to try and prevent him hurting himself. It helped to have a voice to listen to. It was a good enough distraction.
Virgil glared at you before slowly, and with great effort, forcing himself to say “.....thanks...I guess...to all of the uh watchers...I guess.....”
The food was done. You handed him a plate. He didn’t bother to get up from the ground to eat. He just sat there and sadly poked at the toad in the holes with a fork.
“I wish it could go quickly.....I wish reinventing myself to someone without Remy could go quick...”
When he looked up he met your glowing orange eyes.
“Right...baby steps”
He forced half a smile and held up his fork towards you as if he was holding up a glass to say cheers.
“Oh shit this isn’t as bad as I thought. I was like 100% ready to just survive on any scrap of garbage not gonna lie. But this is like good”
You floated around him the entire time he ate. Every time you tried to peer into one of the sketchbook he threw a pea at you.
“If you’re gonna stay floating around here I think it’s gonna be a bit boring. I mean...I think all I’m gonna do is work...be sad.....miss them.....smoke...be sad...and uh let me see....be sad. I guess I don’t mind having you here- EVEn though I very much hate you!!! And I find you annoying!!!! Very!!- I don’t mind. But uhm..Maybe if you haven’t checked up on my ba- Remy maybe you should uhm check in on them? You’ve heard how I’ve been going on I assume....Even if I hope they’re doing well...I dunno if they-”
A sudden knock came from the door.
“REmy?!” Was all Virgil got out.
He threw aside the empty plate and instantly got up.  ran his hands through his hair to try and fix it and even checked his breathe before cursing himself for not prioritizing taking a shower.
It hadn’t even gone enough time for a second knock and Virgil was already standing by the door. He tried to look cool as possible as he opened it. A huge shining grin played on his lips.
“Hey Vivzie” Oswald said as he looked down at the other man.
Virgil’s expression instantly soured like an entire bathtub filled with milk in the middle of the summer. He want back to slouching and had to hold back the urge to roll his eyes.
“Hello Ozzie” He replied through gritted teeth.
“I thought you were ‘spossed to be at work around this time” Oswald half asked while welcoming himself in.
“This might surprise you but sometimes work times change. I know. Shocking”
He waved Virgil’s sarcasm off while subtly glancing around the apartment “Where’s the other one? The dumb to your dumber if you will. The Bill to your Ted-”
“Oh shut up”
Virgil went over to the kitchen while Oswald followed along with a calm smile. The emo took out two beers from the fridge and held one out for the other man who shook his head. Instead Viv offered him a cigarette and they both took long blows before the conversation resumed.
“Let me guess...Remy all suddenly grew new legs and left to party to catch up for the latest months of boring couch potating” Oswald said dryly.
“....they left me”
“What was that now?” Oswald replied, having fully heard him.
“They left me. They’re not- They’re staying with someone else- It’s- We’re over”
Oswald reached out his hand and half assedly patted Virgil on the shoulder “First breakup?”
He nodded.
“That’s rough buddy. You can bring out the beers again if you want. I even think I can give you a bit of an extra friendly break up sale if you want to buy anything to cheer up”
“no..uhm...thanks...no thank you...Those kinds of things I uh I only do that stuff with Remy”
Oswald shrugged and leaned against the kitchen counter. He put out the cigarette against one of the dirty dishes laying in the sink.
“Not to pretend to be a relationship expert here but vivzie you must have really messed up if he left. I don’t mean to sound mean but he didn’t seem like the type who could survive on his own for more than a week. His bones looks like baby twigs. He reminds me of a very sad very small baby bird that has just fallen out of a tree...You said he is staying with someone else?”
“They only use they/them. They don’t interchange pronouns” Virgil instantly corrected before shrugging “Just some like” He gritted his teeth “Friends they’re staying with. They’re not like- You don’t know them. I uh...I would have been really worried for their health if I didn’t know they had people taking care of them” He glanced over to you “Lots of...solid...people”
Oswald squinted at him while loosening up his smile “Oh come on now Vivzie” he crossed his arms and leant closer towards him “He’s not here anymore. You don’t have to act so polite about it”
“About what?” He asked, anger already beginning to boil under his skin.
“You know what I’m talking about. With Remy’s whole...thing. Or nevermind he told me while he was high his real name is-”
Virgil’s hands moved into fists so quickly his cigarette got crushed in between his fingers “I think it’s time you get out of my goddamn apartment!”
“Aw sorry did I hurt your feelings. They must have already been really crushed with the whole your long term boyfriend leaving you. Must feel pretty bad being so awful even a weak ass cunt like him will leave y-”
Before he even had time to finish the sentence Virgil had swung his fist right into the side of Oswald’s face. He took a step back and moved his hand up to feel the spot where he had been hit.
“What in the hell is wrong with you!?”
“GET OUT! I KNOW YOU NEVER CAME AROUND FOR MY SAKE ANYWAY! THEY’RE NOT HERE! THERE’S NOTHING FOR YOU TO FUCKING FLIRT WITH! JUST LEAVE! YOU’RE STUPID IF YOU THINK I WON’T DEFEND THEM ‘TIL THE DAY I DIE JUST ‘CAUSE THEY’VE LEFT ME!”
Oswald looked down at his hand for a moment as he moved his lower jaw around to feel if anything had been damaged. He glanced up and met Virgil’s furious eyes.
In one swift motion Oswald had pulled his arms around Virgil and held him in a headlock. He pulled onto a chunk of his dyed hair and twisted it around in his hand before slamming the side of Virgil’s face onto the stove. He held Viv’s head down with one hand and held his other hand around both of his wrists.
Even though Virgil tried to twist and squirm around he couldn’t move away. Oswald leaned down so close that Virgil could feel his breathe against his ear as Os spoke.
“Why would I ever come around for a piece of shit like you. I don’t even have to think for a single second to know why he left you, you violent bastard”
“YOU ARE LITERALLY HOLDING ME DOWN YOU HYPOCRITICAL MASS OF BLOODY MEAT!!”
“Maybe i was coming over to check that you hadn’t murdered him yet. Choked him a bit too long. Left him to rot. Let him overdose. Maybe I was coming over to try and convince him to leave. Sometimes a victim just has to see what true love and passion and nicety is-”
“LOVE ISN’T MISGENDERING THEM!!”
“Vivzie when did I say I loved them. I’m simply a gentleman, and you’re a pity to the eye. I can fake love if it means I can help a poor soul like Remy. I am sure he is still suffering ‘cause of your assholery. I am just oh so ready to help him you see”
Oswald literally rolled his eyes while saying that last part.
“Get. Out. Of. My. Apartment” Virgil spat out.
“Gladly”
Oswald pulled Virgil up by his hair and threw him head first against the closest wall. Virgil managed to stop himself with his hands but his face still slammed into the wall leaving him lightheaded as he fell down onto the ground. The entire room was spinning as he watched Oswald walking out.
Blood ran down from his nose. He saw your eyes shifting color to show worry and he quickly waved it off.
“I’m okay. Just a nose bleed. It’s nothing compared to what I put Remy through. I’ll be okay”
As Oswald left the apartment a sort of liquid fell down from the door frame and landed on his shoulder. He didn’t notice it until he was going down the stairs. He grimaced as he wiped it off. He muttered something out about how awfully dirty these kinds of apartment complexes were.
The liquid landed on the floor. It was hard to see what exactly it was. It could be the sort of liquid that exudes from the voids demons inhabit. It could the remnants of a ghost touch. It could be the goo from a snail.
Whatever it was it watched him as he left the apartment complex.
[Oswald is now open for asks. Physical violence is allowed]

@sixstepsaway here’s my july bujo set up
Tumblr media
here’s my title page, this year i’ve been writing out the lyrics to a different song from an album I like that has 12 tracks on it in different ways across the page, if I come across any fun stickers this month i’ll fill in the bit of white space and if not I’ll just put some washi there at the end of the month
Tumblr media
my calendar page with everything I’m committed to so far for the month although I think I’m missing something so I need to check Boyfriend’s calendar when he gets home.
Tumblr media
I track all the I read or watch here (excluding fanfic and youtube videos because then I’d need way more space), and the blank page I usually use if I’m doing a read-a-thon or a reading challenge for the month and if I don’t I doodle on it at the end of the month.
Tumblr media
and I’ve gone back to doing my weekly’s like this a couple weeks ago (although unfilled out because I don’t work that far ahead) I use the blank box for any little notes I might need to make and the opposite page will either be doodles, longer notes, or if I attend any event that has a physical ticket or something I’ll glue it over there.

Commonplace book
I think we should bring back the commonplace book to be a more common thing. We have a plethora of ways to record our own data, but how many more structured ways do we think of when it comes to the data of others? Of quotations that caught our attention? Of pieces of information we want for later reference? Of notes regarding things we want to look up? Of scrapbooks of notable things rather than collage for creativity? Of poems? And so on. While diaries record personal info, a commonplace book would be more about things you encounter, like notes from a lecture, or a record of education. Perhaps they are commentaries on something literary, social, or religious. You could create your own encyclopaedia by answering questions that come to mind of things you want to look up later, or words you want to define. They did use a method of categorisation, so information wasn't just through the book willy-nilly.
They're like a massive book of marginalia, without the marginalia.
Here's some basic tips on a handwritten version. You can always choose to do this digitally.
Choose a book with page numbering for easy reference.
Divide the book into sections if you have specific categories. Choose ones that reflect your needs, interests, goals, etc. You might include: quotations, Ideas, book summaries, reflections, writing prompts, etc.
A consistent format for entries to make the information easier to locate later. You might consider how you'd set up for a date, info source, reflections, etc. You should choose a consistent/standardised system for categorising entries.
Capturing everything is usually the word of thumb. including quotations, excerpts, thoughts, and observations. Note down your ideas, snippets from books, articles, conversations, or any source of inspiration.
Always include the source of the data, whether it's a book title, author, website, or person.
Choose whether you want to organise entries chronologically or categorise them thematically, or both.
Choose a book size that is convenient for carrying.
Be flexible to adapting your commonplace book as you need to. Including differing categories, organisation, or experiment with different formats.
Create an index, table of contents, etc.
If you wanted to be more focused you could:
Incorporate more visual elements, such as sketches, doodles, or photographs, alongside the text.
Add prompts, questions, or activities to your commonplace book to make it more interactive.
Add a quote a day, along with a brief reflection or thought on the quote.
Focus on quotes and passages from historical figures, events, or texts.
Collect lyrics and poems that impact you.
Create a commonplace book where you write letters.
You could use your commonplace book as a form of creative expression, incorporating art, poetry, or other forms of creative writing
You could structure your commonplace book around theme.
Or focus on more specific topics.

It's been a year.
I wrote a post last year that ended with "I hope that the next time I write on here I have news of feeling lifted up and have smiled more than I have frowned. If it’s another 2 years before I do that so be it. I am only human. "
The answer is actually.....yes.
I do feel lifted up and I am aware that I smile more than I frown.
When I was a kid I wrote things down in notebooks all the time. Whether it was journaling or making up song lyrics or doodling, I constantly had notebooks thrown about in my bag and room. The thoughts that were in my head always found a way out and I made room for them to do so. I can't say I was judgement free as a handful of journal entries may have some memories skewed to be rose tinted, but all-in-all I still got a lot of info out.
This year I decided to journal again. I'm not sticking to writing once a day because that's WAY TOO MUCH PRESSURE for myself. Zero to 100 only works for some people. Me personally: absolutely not. I am however, proud of the fact that I have written a total of 11 pages and I started on Jan 25th 2023. One month and 11 pages down, with that average I might actually write over 50 pages this year. Which will be the first year in over 10 years that I will accomplish a self goal of that size for writing for myself alone.
I do have scattered pages from 6 different journals through out the years and poems written on my phone notes, that show some insight to my state of mind these past 10 years. And maybe that has to do with my state of mind when I stopped writing regularly. That I didn't like my thoughts so much and so I kept them in.
Now as I'm about to turn 30, I find it very freeing to just write exactly what I think. If I am angry I just say so. If I'm sad, I let myself be present in that feeling. In fact on a journal entry dated on the 3rd of February I spent half a page talking about how I don't like the gel pen I'm using to write because it's super hard to stay neat in my lettering and not slip into half cursive/half printed every other word. Which was exactly what I was frustrated with. Happy in my day, frustrated with a pen for making my page look sloppy.
When I read that page back now I have a huge grin on my face because HOW SILLY. I'm not an insta famous bullet journaling mastermind, nobody but me will see my page and yet for a whole page I was worried about my penmanship. That's the most honest truth I could have written about. Nothing in my life was as frustrating as a gel pen and that is a FREAKING BLESSING.
I am doing so well. I feel guilty for that when I hear friends or family struggling with things because I actually think I have my shit together for the first time in YEARS.
I have an apartment that feels home when I walk in the door, a husband who loves my full self at my best and absolute worst, a job I feel confident about, and a blooming new outlook on life.
Sure there are things I am working on. I'm still in and out of therapy and constantly growing to forgive myself and love myself authentically, AND I do feel like for the first time in awhile I'm meeting myself exactly where I am and just rolling with it.
I'm not trying to force myself to be or say or feel anything. I'm just allowing myself the space to exist.
And that is a beautiful fucking place to be.
*a blog post I wrote in 2017 for work called "Adjust your gratitude" helps remind me of all the good on days I struggle. If you need a gentle reminder, that's a 5 minute activity that can really help. https://www.soul-flower.com/blog/adjust-your-gratitude/
