I was not expecting Kaiju Parasite but it certainly made for a cool scene with everyone supporting supes. Amanda Waller is a manipulative piece of shit, how dare she free livewire and the rest while blaming Superman and the general (who btw I'm less mad at now because that would drastic responses to trauma but at least he's starting to see reason) and now we know how this timeline Slade got his eye injured (thanks Livewire). Poor Clark even questioning himself despite it being impossible for it to have been him. Now Jimmy knows about the alternate Supermen which I'm sure will once again be totally fine. Another good episode

For Maxwell Jensen it was greed. Believing that a government radiation-proof waste container was actually being used to smuggle money, Jensen opened the container, absorbing the radioactive materials. He was transformed into something akin to a human atomic furnace. His ability to absorb the energy and abilities and mentalities of others is a necessity. Without it, he would literally burn himself out.

Jensen was a criminal even before he was transformed into a being interested in more than money. Now he wants powers. And that is why Parasite wants to kill Superman. Not out of hatred, but to absorb and gain Superman's very nature.

I think there should be more Superman stories written as thrillers or horror.

Lois and Clark as reporters going against a powerful organization that frames them from crimes, ruins their reputation and is so influencal they don't know who can be trusted.

Cosmic horror. Have Superman face something that makes him seem just as small, limited and powerless as humans in comparison.

Any sort of supernatural horror where Clark's powers don't help him ( or at least not much)

Psychological horror where Lois or Clark keep getting blackouts and maybe even hallucinations, and some crime is committed and everything suggests that Lois/Clark did it, and the evidence just keeps piling up.

Just in general any sci-fi or supernatural situation that messes with your mind, living Clark unsure of what is real or not, and unable to trust himself.

The 5th dimensinal imp whose name I can't spell being presented as a twisted puppet master or demonic entity playing with ppl' lives. A bit pennywise, but more powerful Maybe even a cosmic horror creature who appears as a humanoid being , but is something much more.

Parasite posing as ppl, stealing their memories. yoy can't tell if anyone is a actually themself, knows your secrets, it might even find out superman is Clark Kent. Posing as someone close to clark and/or Lois for days or weeks just to break and manipulate him.

Parasite having a company or ( inspired by S&L S2) being a cult leader, so they can lure customers/ followers to them and feed on them.

Parasite using dating sites to lure his victims to them.

Anything to do with " mad scientists" and human ( or alien) experimentation. Especially Harvest. That guy is top notch horror material.

Frighting scenarios where kryptonite or something else leaves Clark powerless/ weakened during a dangerous situation.

Someone finding out superman's identity and blackmailing him and/ or Lois.

Clark and Lois living in Smallville and all of a sudden townsfolk start disappearing, either completely vanishing, or bring found dead and mutilated.

Doomsday. Just Doomsday.

Stories involving Toyman could be made into a serial killer thriller or a horror story.

The New Gods could easily be used to create a horror or thriller situation.
