Do you think the LIB react differently to kids than they do adults, like, sometimes with grown ups it's like "I'm gonna deck the halls with your gutsy wutsies." And sometimes actually doing it. But with kids it's just like, "Ok listen you lil brat." Whilst tickling the stubbornness out of them. E.g. Hannah
I think they’d definitely act different with kids! They’re much easier to intimidate & manipulate so they don’t feel the need to lay it on as thick like when they’re dealing with adults. They all really lean into their more charming qualities to lull the kid into a false sense of security. I feel the main goal would be to try to get the kid to do their bidding & sprinkle in some evil influence. They definitely pose it more as a game to get them invested. Wiggly, Nibbly & Pokey are the best when it comes to kids. The way Blinky watches them makes them creeped out & Tinky’s overexcited energy can scare them off at first. But to a normal kid who’s not in tune with the b&w like Hannah is, I think they’d come off as really fun & intriguing
But even tho they’re supposed to be evil lords of all that’s unholy, they find they really do have a soft spot for kids. They still have to punish them for stepping out of line, so tickling is the perfect form of punishment! Too bad the kids just see it as a game at this point kabwlahalfja

Saw some people making Hatchetfield Eldritch OCs
what if I said that I made one, for an AU, that was accidentally created in a human and suffers from identity issues as a result? They become a resident bodysnatcher with a certain unfortunate human of Hatchetfield, and they have to live with said human like Venom, minus the whole eat people thing XD
Lil guy has a name and because he believes himself to be very human, despite being able to read minds if he focused, he’s called simply, Dill.
And for those who have yet to stumble on it yet, the fic “Persephone of Apotheosis” will probably incorporate this tidbit at some point. Check it out on AO3 heheh.
Thanks for reading my nonsense mini ramble of an Eldritch OC a pal of mine @shadowess and I have been slowly working on.

A couple of things that need to be known about the ShadowDemons that Tolaas Hunts: they cannot be killed by any weapon that hasn't been imbued with ShadowEssence.
Which means anyone who wants to kill one needs to use Tolaas' weapons. Regular weapons will not work. At all.
Also, when they are killed, they start to sizzle and 'melt', until there's no trace left.

Game Review: Aragami
Tumblr media
I’ve recently come across a video game called Aragami by Lince Works which I was able to buy pretty cheap on Steam. It’s a 3rd person stealth game which lets you play as an assassin operating solely in the shadows.
Note: The spoiler warning refers to spoilers of the story and other detailed reviews of the gameplay and mechanics that might give away a little too much. The spoiler-free part of this review will include basic information about the gameplay, the overall style, design and quality of the game as well as encountered bugs.  -Spoiler-free-
Gameplay/Mechanics:  The gameplay was very fun. I love stealth games and figuring out the best ways to kill my enemies without alerting anyone - When I played the game, I felt like the developer team must have consisted of people who love the stealth parts in other games and wanted to come up with something that’s just that; stealthing all the f**king time. You do have skills that you can upgrade by finding collectibles in the areas. That was fun and kept the game interesting because you had new ways to deal with your victims. And it made up for a pretty simple objective: Proceed to gather talismans and either kill everyone, noone or some of the guards on your way. The controls were easy and intuitive, although I would have liked to exit the menu with esc, not only with the space bar. But that’s a ridiculously small thing to complain about. Also, there are actually boss fights! The characters looked cool, the animations looked cool. To me, the game appeared like one of those very cheap and often dull but fun games that you get for a few bucks or less. But this game is surprisingly qualitative, and I see it as a little gem. I never heard of it before which I think is a shame.
Design/Environments/Interface: I loved the simple design of the interface. It fit the atmosphere of the game and everything worked absolutely smoothly.  The game looks like someone drew everything in Japanese style, it reminds of an anime. I liked that - and there’s only Japanese voice acting as well. All other languages are only available as subtitles. Dialogue is relatively rare.  The environments are diverse enough to offer a lot of variety which is definitely refreshing throughout the 13 chapter setup of the game, and they are generally very beautiful and they’re in many cases underlined and accentuated with chapter-specific soundtracks as well.
Bugs: I have only encountered one potential bug: When you scroll through the skills wheel to pick a different skill, I often couldn’t move the pointer to the one I wanted. This only happened when I was running while accessing the skills wheel though, and to be fair, I only noticed it during one session. After I restarted my PC the other day, I did not encounter it anymore, so that might have been a local issue, not one of the game.  Other than that, there was one thing I assume the developers are aware of that still bothered me a little. You can use a skill to make enemies in the area visible; they get marked with a white little flame. That flame doesn’t disappear when you kill them, it continues floating in the air. That can make figuring out which enemies are still alive and which ones you’ve already killed pretty difficult and confusing. I’d advise the developers to fix that.  I did encounter a lot more minor bugs in the DLC however, but none that would have spoiled the gameplay experience much. I attached a screenshot.
Tumblr media
DLC “Nightfall”: I’d recommend this DLC to anyone who enjoyed the base game. It’s a lot of fun - you have a different although similar skill set and a companion who can help you out. The DLC adds a lot of background information to the story established in the base game. It also includes pretty new environments and new soundtracks which I really enjoyed.
-Spoiler-
The story was very simple but well made - But I admit that I often confused the names of the characters. If you carefully watch the flashbacks when the Aragami - that’s you, the summoned assassin - finds a talisman, you can quite easily understand that it’s not at all like Yamiko, the Shadow Empress, the one who summoned you to free her, says and that something is very awry with her version of the story.
I loved the twist at the end of the game although I had expected it after the first few chapters already. The lady who summons you isn’t as innocent as she pretends to be, she’s actually the villain, and you’ve killed the wrong - your - people all the time. It’s a simple, yet interesting concept.  When I met the raven Kurosu (btw, I love that name), I was expecting it to play a much bigger role in the future. But Kurosu is only a “tool” that technically scouts the area to tell you where enemies are - and marks them, which is one of the skills you can become proficient with. So, Kurosu is mostly there for the world-building and an explanation, but it also plays a little role at the end of the story.  I used all of the skills that were available. I definitely had my favorites, like Shinen and Kunai - placing traps or killing people with a shadow dagger from a distance - but I used all of them at some point, and they really helped killing guards easily.
The scrolls were very well hidden and I admit that I had to look up their locations sometimes, which I did because I didn’t want to miss out on the skills (I didn’t plan to replay the game).
TLDR;  I had a lot of fun with this game and it took me several hours to complete. It’s not super sophisticated or anything, but it’s fun and interesting, and it’s definitely qualitative and worth the few bucks it costs. I think it should be much more known.

Ok so, random thought. It seems to be hinted that Solomon Lauter gave Mrs Lauter to Wiggly, or the entire LIB, what do you think about this theory?
When I first heard about this theory I thought it was very interesting & explains a lot about how he knows so much about the lib & where Steph’s mom is. Of course his knowledge can be chalked up to him being the mayor & privy to all of Hatchetfield’s deepest darkest secrets, but I like this explanation better
I think the most plausible thing to have happened maybe was that he had to offer up the thing he cherished most in order to save the town from some horrible event (that was the lib’s own doing) or she won the Honey Queen contest & was sacrificed to Nibbly & Solomon didn’t stop until he found out exactly what happens to all of the pageant winners

So about that "multiple Teds" that rots my brain randomly
This technically doubles as a how Tinky is interpreted for the Timelines AU. This ramble, a cute random discord discussion between @shadowess and I, is going nowhere, except out here xD. Pardon the mess on my end.
For this AU, Tinky keeps trying to find a Ted that is ... "smart enough". By means of smart enough, that's tricky, but I would say Tinky eventually wants to see a Ted that is not too stupid to go to 2004. In short, the whole time travelling shenanigans is a terrible "social test" placed by Tinky, which MAY alter certain situations ever so slightly to properly lure Ted into the "test". However, most have been deemed failures, Time Bastards specifically, so he just chucks them into his box to just play with whenever he wants, be it more messed up games or stuff like that.
So Tinky knows which Ted is which, specifically may label them so that he will not take the wrong Ted to play with (Gamma Ted 231118, Phi Ted ??1018, Chi Ted 171004, so on and so forth). But to each individual Ted, he still calls them "Teddy Bear" to not raise suspicions that there are more then one Ted.
But over time, as each Ted learns about the other, they figure some way to ID themselves. There are certainly infected Teds in there, which can be identified with maybe some leftover blue in the eyes. The rest of the Teds are mostly brown-eyed, but for those who got the Time Bastard treatment, they may have yellow eyes when in Tinky's presence. They also slowly observe that there are Teds who are here as young adults (if say, Ted chloroforming his young self had gone horribly wrong), some who died at the 30-somethings like Workin' Boys Ted and TGWDLM Ted for example, they would be put through the Time Bastard challenge posthumously to do this same check, and those at 50 years of age (these are the Homeless Teds). Some of the Teds are female (for mine's, I'd name female Teds Thea). Nonetheless, the female Teds could be Time Bastardised all the same, or Infected.
What's important is that they soon realise that they all came from different timelines, and that they are practically labelled according to the timeline they were derived from. They only notice since they now have someone else looking at them, and maybe a few of the Teds who are actually more sane, doing the observing.
So, to end off the lore ramble, for the little talkshow they've got, you could stand to see the following who get identified as such: Crime Lord Ted, Cowboy Ted, Host Ted, Theatre Ted, Normal Flavoured Ted, Nerd Ted, so on and so forth.
And there will be Teds that do not show up as much, as they are one of few Teds who are... walking free from the Bastard's Box in two ways (as being a Time Bastard means you are an eldritch being who can possibly find a means to get stronger).
1. They are not dead
2. They have escaped and have their own backdoor
Right i stop here, thanks for coming to my Ted talk, have a good night/ day for whoever stumbles on this XD - Thunder

Sketchbook July 2 2017: “Young Will and Sarah”
“When I lost you, it  was easy to hold you up as this imaginary thing that could have been, I built you up in the center of a perfect life that I knew I could never have... and now you’re here, and I can’t figure out what what we actually had, and what I wished we did...”

(Closed starter for @little-miss-buffy)
Tolaas was stalking a ShadowDemon through a cemetery. A goddamned cemetery, for Christ's sake. How cliche.
He was glad that, tonight, he actually had his guns and his katana on him. The bullets and the blade were infused with ShadowEssence, which is why he was able to kill them. With any other weapon, they were practically invincible. One could beat them down, but they wouldn't be able to kill a ShadowDemon, no matter how hard they tried, unless their weapon was infused with ShadowEssence.
Over the years, he had given or made certain weapons for friends and lovers, to help protect them from a ShadowDemon in case he wasn't around.
Tonight, he hoped nobody was around. He knew sometimes people loved to come to cemeteries late at night to either drink and rabble-rouse or just walk serenely through the gravestones.
He heightened his senses, especially his hearing, and didn't hear anyone else... however, there was a rustle near the trees over at the side of the cemetery.
Quietly, Tolaas hurried over there and when he saw the ShadowDemon rustling against some bushes, he lowered the shotgun and tilted his head. It was just a baby. Somehow, it had found a ShadowPortal and arrived here. "Aww," he said quietly. He reached down and picked it up in his arms. It looked like a cross between a hippo and an elephant, except tiny. And inky black. "Hi," he said in a slightly higher-pitched voice. "Yer not supposed ta be here, lil' one. Let's get ya back home, huh?"
Behind the trees, he cut open a ShadowPortal with his fingers, bent down, and placed the baby ShadowDemon on the ground. He nudged it with his foot. "G'won now," he said, nudging it more until it went through the Portal. "Good boy," he whispered. Focused on the baby ShadowDemon and not his surroundings, he'd managed to let someone come up behind him. "Shit," he muttered, slowly turning around.

Oh look, Shadowess posted yet ANOTHER looking for thread. They need to quit posting them fr. Literally, bump a single thread regularly. Don't post "lf canines" "lf characters" "lf angels for story writing and lf purges, freebies" etc four or five times a month. I block every thread from them I see but within a week (bc I find it's easier to not sift through LFs when I wanna play forum games) I spy yet another one.
