I think the whole "I had to drop my phone...and go to Costa Rica for a while" thing is very likely because Rhys has been almost entirely a comedic side character in his work for like, 25 years. And as for why Taika and Con have been able to embrace the fanart from the start, well. Leslie Jones has already asked the important question of Taika: "Do you know you fine as hell?" So while he may not have the same Fine As Hell and Knows It energy Taika has, Con probably came into OFMD more sure of his physical attractiveness than of his comedic acting skills. And when the Izzy fanart started dropping, he probably didn't have much trouble getting excited about it after the initial surprise, because he hadn't written off his physical attractiveness in the way Rhys probably had.

January and February dump

This is my most recent work of Lloyd, and my most recent work in general. I made this in the computer room at school with a painful high-sensitive mouse. We have these special course thing in our junior high, so every tuesday after class, I get to be in the computer room. For six hours... (My course is Visual Graphics Design. I'm kinda regretting it now since I've been thinking of becoming an architect... I can't change my course now since it's too late. Which is stupid.)

I'll try to draw more there! I really like drawing with a mouse cause I like the challenge. And since I'm not accustomed to a high-sensitive mouse, it'll be a bigger challenge for me!

I made these two in traditional then polished them digitally since I straight up just used a pen. I rarely use a pencil nowadays so I can learn to fix mistakes without erasing it. Usually it ends up looking like chicken scratch but I'm getting better.

My Harumi one is so bad lol.. When I was making it, my classmates around me were messing around and moving the chairs in the process, making me have to draw strokes with shaky lines. It's not that noticeable though since I made the lines thicker.

I was planning to make something for Rebooted's anniversary but I got busy... (And lazy) The PIXAL one was inspired by an animatic I saw.

If you compare the previous Arin portrait, yes, they don't look the same. I'm trying to find a look for Arin, as I do with every character, that I'll be satisfied with.

By the way, I'm kind of basing Arin's hair with my classmate's hair. Which is funny because my other classmates compared this artwork to my classmate, who looked nothing like Arin but have similar hair, commenting they're the same. (I'm not mad because I actually find this a bit humorous)

I was trying to make an animatic and this was going to be the sketch. But then again, I got busy and lazy. (Mostly lazy)

I accidentally changed their facial features a bit by accident on the second page because I forgot to reference the first page. It was tiring flipping pages every 5 seconds, ok! Also, I drew it after 2 days when I drew the first page, and I didn't have a design I liked for them yet. (...I just noticed Jay has different eye colors in both pages...)

I think I'm sticking to these looks for Lloyd. I'll try to make it accurate to this. (I think I did great with the first image of this post. Though, I made him too round for my liking.)

Discard the growing beard post redesign Lloyd has. That beard thing was supposed to be where his chin was until I realized it was too small. And it's still too small.

Child Lloyd is so cute! The eyeshadow wasn't intentional at first, but then it got me thinking, what if Lloyd had an emo phase? And now emo child Lloyd is my headcanon.

Pre redesign Lloyd kind of reminds me of TommyInnit, and I find it quite funny. Maybe it's the facial gesture, I know a lot of TommyInnit fanarts with that silly face.

For Dragons Rising Lloyd however, I want him to have long hair with his post redesign face. I'll try to make full body designs of the 4 Lloyds.

Can you just talk about your mundane and crazy domestic basic Clark Kent ideas… I’m captivated by him

yes, this man saves coupons and doesn’t own a car but takes the subway or walks to work everyday despite being fucking superman. This guy loves baseball sooooo much he thinks baseball is the best sport in the world and he’ll infodump abt it if you let him. He’s the best cook in the league and makes the most delicious meals ever seemingly without any effort at all, he loves making food for everyone and everyone is always shocked at how good it all tastes.

This guy grew up watching shitty old sitcoms so of course his sense of humor is very old and specific. Also because of where he grew up and who he grew up with, he had a pretty strong accent when he was little but living in metropolis made it go away almost, it’s still there but it’s way more subtle.

everyone agrees with this but i’m putting it in here anyways, kryptonians have fangs, clark has little fangs, it’s the way it is, it’s real.

his hair is naturally very curly and it shows no matter what he does to it, as clark kent he slicks it back and makes it look nice but the curl still very clearly shows. as SUPERMAN, he of course still has his iconic little curl in front, but the rest of it is NOT perfectly slicked back, that’s STUPID and i’m GETTING RID OF IT!!! He’s fucking superman, always flying around at high speeds fighting crime doing all this crazy shit getting beat up or beating some jacked up monster up, there is no way in HELL that his hair stays that perfect, it is ALWAYS crazy, curls everywhere, very windswept look. That’s how it is cause I say so, l’m that powerful.

this is practically canon but he just lets himself into the batcave whenever he needs something from bruce and bruce stopped caring years ago because deep down he loves this guy and is overjoyed to see him everytime but would never say that becayse he’s bruce and bruce is fucking stupid and emotionally constipated. The only reason he does this to Bruce only is because he thinks it’s funny, anything that bothers batman is a little bit funny to him. He has a tiny little streak of doing-things-just-for-the-sake-of haha-sillies deep within him and he mostly takes it out on bruce. Like when he found out Dick’s favorite superhero is actually him and not bruce, he found that significantly amusing and often teases bruce abt it but in the most subtle way. He is the KING of subtlety when it comes to this stuff.

speaking of Dick, he and dick have gotten together to prank bruce on more than one occasion. Dick is usually the one to instigate it but Clark never says no.

this is more of a personal complaint of mine but still a headcanon i guess, his SKIN TONE IS NOT THAT WHITE!! THIS MAN LITERALLY SOAKS UP SUN RAYS TO CHARGE HIMSELF!! he is in the sun CONSTANTLY, he grew up on a FARM, he has very tan skin!! all these comic artists color him sooooo white and pale and it’s so INCORRECT. anyways, that’s all i have to say abt that

kryptonian eyes glow in the dark and it makes for some scary ass situations for other people i mean. speedster eyes also glow in the dark, i was gonna draw something abt this one day. like one time bruce was on the watch tower late at night and most of the lights were off, he’s just finishing up some stuff and was unaware that clark had not left the tower yet and so he turns around and there’s just two glowing red eyes in this dark hallway, and bruce is a bit unsettled for a minute until it speaks LMAO

clark loves ducks, like a lot. He likes flying with them he likes watching them in the pond at the park, he likes giving them little crumbs from his lunch occasionally, he likes them, they’re his favorite animal. Also because the kents always had ducks on the farm when he was little and he liked to chase em around and catch one and then just hold it and pet it for a while. He named all the ducks everytime they got new or more ducks on the farm

This man still believes in Santa Claus, this is actually canon in the DCAU and I fully support it. Which also leads to my belief that he’s one of those people that just loves christmas SO much, he’s always so happy when christmas rolls around he decorates early, he starts listening to the music early, he has at least four different ugly sweaters, and buys all his gifts for everyone early. he also decorates the watchtower and the hall of justice, of course everyone else in the league helps out with that too

this man always gets coffee for Lois too, he knows just how she likes it and she’s always appreciative and he and Jimmy have a buddy handshake and alsooooo uhm he and lois have little competitions and play little games when they get super bored on slow days, like paper football, or throwing wads of crumpled paper into the trash like basketball or who can type faster, and Jimmy is always the score keeper. sometimes the rest of the office will get into it too if Perry’s not around, like the office olympics episode of “The Office”. It doesn’t happen often because usually there is alot of things to do but sometimes there are those days.

ya know, I loovee seeying how people draw moon, how they view them, how diferent and similar he can be to many artist! I adore that sooo much!! yet I also cant help but feel a bit sad to the boyo.. I trully dont believe he is a bad guy!.. I totally see why the game made Moon is the harder one to beat, he is the tutorial as to show how one can beat the others robots, that the player can in fact do things around the plex! yet I believe he is a softie! a silly dude! someone that, just like Sun, is stricts on rules! but after getting infected, this "strict on rules" became a "scary strict" , the fact he is really focus on you, player, to sleep is because is WAY too late to be around! :C that raspy voice? while creepy when he is cheasing you, I also imagine is was a way he could sound eepy but funny! imagine him telling a story with a less raspy soft voice? his real voice! and because I believe in the idea that both worked in the teather, maybe Moonie played the "bad guy" kinda like roxanne is this "badass wolf" but is also a sweetheart! I see him being this dancer, who will play tag and those he gets must get comfy in bed-- I see him being so patient with the little ones, despite his looks (I imagine the red leds are part of his desing , as his plushie has a red eye, and not part of the virus) because just-- look at this!

mah boy is just silly silly! and a softie! thats is, that all I wanted to say, I know some ppl do see him as a softie too, but I dont find many fanart of softie moonie often.. (and I need to make more fan art like daaat) also I see him like roxy, while in main game she is mean to us, in ruin we see who she actually is! imagine the same on him! also I know in ruin he is more.. violent- but you wouldnt be if suddently you see a rulebreaker, and then your home catch fire, while you are forced to be this worst side of you? I see Moon growing more violent like monty, and roxy or chica! but being actually a softie like the rest! also I see Sun is infected too, that dude sounds desperate and too stress out to be normal..)

ExistingKirb’s DELTARUNE: Chapter 3 Take

I decided to do a revamp the Chapter 3 take I did awhile back and turn it into a fully-fledged project of mine! Check out the Twitter thread as well! I plan on posting characters in batches on Tumblr, but you can see them posted as soon as they’re finished on Twitter.

TENNA

It’s Tenna! THE Tenna! The Dark World’s ruler, but she doesn’t seem to care about asserting her authority, she’s just here to goof off and embrace the vast empire of entertainment she’s built. She frequently shows up throughout the chapter to host a show involving the Fun Gang for entertainment purposes. She doesn’t antagonize them, and is fine with them sealing the fountain as long as they stick around a bit to provide some quality entertainment! She’s TECHNICALLY an antagonist, but not a bad guy by any means.

MIKE

Tenna’s right-hand man and second-in-command of the Cathode Crew! Tenna’s not good with all that business-y junk, so she lets Mike take care of all that stuff while she goes about without a care in the world, this also includes running the late-chapter shop. He used to trade business tips to a certain salesman before going to work for Tenna. also im like 75% sure he qualifies as a sexyman

DIROOKTOR

And…action! Like his name implies, he directs most of the shows in the Dark World and is Tenna’s, as she puts it, “left-hand man, right-hand brother”. He’s short-tempered and has a no-nonsense personality, which is the exact opposite of his sister’s. He seems to know a little something about dark fountains and doesn’t seem keen on letting the Fun Gang mosey on over and seal it like his sister is. He’s hatching a plan behind the scenes, so stay tuned.

VIOLET

Who’s this kid again? Oh yeah! In her younger years, she was a relatively well-known street mime, often regarded as a child prodigy for how good her acts were. She was a sweet kid with a bright future. After a while, she started noticing a strange someone who always appeared in the crowd when watching her perform, which must’ve did something to her, because now she’s missing from the spotlight and isolates herself in an abandoned film studio. Violet and Kris both have a few strong connections with each other, mainly the fact they’re both angsty teens who feel they have no control over their lives. Violet enjoys Kris’ company (And Kris seems to enjoy her, at least more than Spamton), but things take a turn for the worse when Susie and Ralsei show up…Violet doesn’t seem to eager to let her new friend go so soon.

r. money

he’s the silly joke npc of the chapter like starwalker and nubert. he’s this guy who shows up sometimes and brags about how much money he has. he does nothing other than that and is a completely worthless character. everyone loves nubert, so this guy’s the polar opposite. no one likes r. money. no one. he’s based off that valentines spamton drawing recently toby did, because i thought it’d be funny if there actually was a character who was literally named “r money”.

These are all the characters I have finalized as of now, this’ll be updated as I make more, usually posted in batches.

I'm gonna take this as a chance to talk about how I depict Roach, at least just a little bit.

always imagined his as just some guy compared to the 141 😭 like if you saw him on the street, you would BARELY pay attention to him. Which is why when I draw him, he kinda just looks like some other person you'd see!

If you stopped and look you would probably begin to notice the things that make him interesting (the scar on the bridge of his nose, the scars across his neck to name a few) and maybe even find him attractive (he's such a handsome boy) but compared to everyone else in the 141, he's not very... eyecatching? He probably blends into the background more than anything and that's exactly what I imagine Roach would be like.

But he'd uses this lack of attention rather than work against it!! While everyone is out panicking over where the big guy with the skull mask is at or the guy with the mohawk (or even the guys with the funny hats), you bet this guy is sneaking behind enemy lines and thinning the herd. By the time they notice something is wrong, it's too late :)

I know u probably didn't expect this long of response but honestly, I take any chance I can to talk about Roach— he's just my favorite guy ever 🫶

Things that make me happy? I have a lot but if it comes to here I guess I can think of some things.

1: I like it when people reblog my stuff, especially the things that aren't overly popular. Like half of my art that has a shit ton of attention are of the smiling critter things and then I look at my OCs that have... Like 2 reblogs and maybe 4 likes. So I like it when people look my OC art because I worked a lot on those (even the lore bits)

2: I enjoy getting comments and asks about little things about myself, it's fun to write about the things I like.. And maybe getting asks for my OCs? I LOVE WRITING ABOUT THEM PLEASE SOMEONE ASK CECE SOMETHI-

3: I don't know why people use the tags to comment on people's posts when they reblog things but sometimes it can be so funny to see their reaction, and it's unironically the funniest thing. Also some of the messages of the reblogged posts are so funny 💀. The McDonald's Gabriel thingy I did that kinda blew up has so many people being like "yes I'll have (a food from the restaurant)" but yeah. Now I'm kinda just rambling lol.

4: These last two are kinda tricky because these never happened (yet) and I'm sure any artist can relate to the sheer volume of happiness that can suddenly materialize within you, but it's when people comment about my art and how much they love it, I know that I'm good at art it's just sometimes I kinda doubt my ability or get down on myself when things don't get attention but I gotta remember it's the stinky algorithm.

5: For this, I hope one day it'll happen. But I love getting fanart of my OCs, so far it's really only been my small friend group whose been drawing for each other, and even from them I get happy about seeing my OCs in their art styles or just doing stupid shit. Or with their OCs.

But yeah that's pretty much what I can think of.

ive seen you talk about your ocs too!! i saw your tags on my post from a couple days ago and read through them :D you have a really cool concept and like, OCs meant for games are sooo interesting to me bc idrk much about #gaming so i have no idea how to create a story for one really! so it similarly floors me when people are able to do that. its like a different skillset for mentally planning the narrative i think, and on top of that is how the games themselves would work... it seems like a lot of thought and planning and its really awesome to me!

id also like to know more about your OCs too :) whenever you wanna talk about them my dms and askbox are open! discord too! i'm finn_again. i like hearing about OC stuff and obvs if you wanna know stuff too that also rocks bc i love sharing lol

I can’t imagine him overreacting for something like that unless you’re usually home around 4pm and it’s 10pm and you’re still not home…only then would he start to really worry and get antsy

But if you’re usually home by 4pm, but don’t get home until 6pm, then he’s totally calm

He would probably give you a call if it gets too late to figure out where you are and if you’re okay

Like I said, Draken is very mature and level-headed so he knows how to stay calm in situations like these

Gets a little more worried if you don’t answer his calls, but he still wouldn’t run to find you in the streets or anything (unless his gut is screaming at him that something is wrong, but 9 of out 10 times, he knows you’re okay)

Lowkey though I picture that he’d always want to have your location so he has you on life360 or something so he knows where you are at all times

He’s in a dangerous line of work so if anything were to ever happen to you, he’d want to be able to get to you quickly!

I was just today going thru all my subscriptions to cull out the ones that haven't updated in a while and weren't memorable enough for me to remember a single detail of. I found yours and was abruptly reminded of how much I loved your content. I'm a bit too busy now to really immerse myself in what you've got going on anymore, but I'm really glad to see you're still around. I can't honestly say I remember any of the comics you posted bc I was not my best self at the time, but I can say they meant a lot to me. I'm really glad to see you're still around and that you've got things that you find enjoyable enough to blog about.

Hey man that's great, I'm glad you remember me! I feel like I can say the same about me making the at the time comics as well, I went through a few years absolutely hating that comic and what it represented because I made it as a way to cope with.. honestly, being a teenager. I really didn't like who I was and that comic was like a great summation of my being at the time.

I'm just skimming through it because I pretty much forgot what I've even made. Like Holy Shit I made 117 comics? I think it holds up okay, it's pretty normal relatable humour though a bit dated. I think i definitely could have been a little weirder with it, though at one point I did try to do something meta with it (chickened out though, it was just way past my skill level). It all just screams of being a teenager, and that level of sincerity would make anyone cringe.

I think it's wild to me how willing i was to share my life to the world like that when I was so riddled with anxiety and sadness. Can't say I'm free of that still but I'm working through it, and I still stand by the last update I posted to that comic. .. Though I'd cut back on how many jokes i'd make to mask my fear this time. I still really love comics, narratives and characters! Though I've not been very good at sharing them lately haha but I promise I'm still chipping away at them. This is probably a very strange time to mention but I set up a Patreon recently, though I haven't gotten around to announcing it formally. But I have a short comic up in there I did for school! Of course if you don't feel like subscribing, I also have it as a one time purchase on gumroad as well :)

One more thing I'd like to say is that the timing of this ask is pretty crazy, cause I was just thinking of doing a retrospective. Just the general reflecting on art school and just looking back on what being nonbinary means to me and I guess YLNB as a whole. Though it's probably too soon to reflect on the latter haha, I'm probably going to wait another 3 more years.

I think engine room plays out similarly, only a little more... theatrical?

Instead of just rushing in and beling like DAMMIT YOURE ALIVE like canon goro did, akira would probably be in the ark, see the pt go about their thing, seeth in it a little before stopping them. He has rationalized alot of his actions and is seeing himself as the guy doing the right things, a martyr of sorts getting his hands dirty for the greater good, the center of the stage singlehandedly setting the world right from the shadows. Falling pipes, bursting light bulbs and casting them into darkness, the monologues about children who dont know how things work thinking they are making a difference, when they're just getting in the way of real justice etc Taking months to change a heart or two not making real difference in the world blah blah blah the showdown is probably similar-ish

2/2 i just posted a little of, sorry for replying to the ask so late it set off me actually thinking about it and drawing haha. After all the talk and debate on ethics and morals, and with how warped akira's world is as he wrestles with things i feel it leads to swapkira palace wedged between maruki's palace infiltration a swapkira infiltration with by the end of it, there is no stealing of heart because goro's sold a good deal on the ethical problem of it all.

its funny how much i personally really enjoyed persona 5's palaces and how its always hype to see the badguy having a change of heart but also its so scary that the pt go deep into people's psych, see private bits of them the world is not supposed to see and then rewire them... i cant see it very different from how invasive and wrong what maruki does is.

twst: OHHHHHH THERE'S A LOT. but i'll keep it short. again, that one bday vignette line and also people saying that riddle will grow up just like his mother despite the character development he got. that one hurts me so much because again, i had said it many times, i have anger issues myself and one of the many reasons why i like riddle is because of how much i relate to him and because he feels so human and not just. you know. "haha angy boi". so seeing things like "ohhh he should never have children because he will treat them like he was treated when he was little" is so. painful.

milgram: tbh there's so many that my brain just kinda refuses to process them anymore ALSO SINCE THE FANDOM IS KINDA SMALL. I FEEL LIKE ALL THOSE POSTS ARE EASY TO FIND but again i'll keep it short: mahiru is NOT a stalker/kidnapper/etc, stop saying she is, she literally said she's not one and i doubt it was a lie and also hhhhhhh i have my. own opinion about whatever is going on with kazui but i don't wanna go into detail but basically. before he himself said that his crime wasn't related to cheating, there were some people who were like.. very passionate about voting him guilty because he's a cheater and like. i'm sorry this is so funny to me like we have a guy who killed a child and MANY different animals, we have a guy who cyberbullied a teenage girl into committing suicide, MIKOTO, SHIDOU LITERALLY ASKED "WHICH ONE" AFTER HE GOT A QUESTION ABOUT HIS VICTIM(S) and cheating is where you draw the line?? 😭😭 ah and also whoever says that it was his wife's fault <3 i'm in your walls right now.

16. "you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc)"

twst: HMMMMM LET ME THINK ABOUT IT. okay okay let's see. well, first of all, i'm not a fan of the time loop theory simply because i'm not a fan of time loop tropes in general. i'm pretty sure there was a time (i think it was like.. late 2000's-early 2010's? maybe even earlier) where like ALMOST EVERY SINGLE VISUAL NOVEL, GAME, ANIME, MANGA, ETC (but especially vns), used that trope AND I HATED IT SO MUCH. i love it when time loops are used to make a character go through the same painful event over and over again to completely change their character, but most of the time (haha get it) time loops feel like.. basically it's like writers use them to just explain everything that doesn't exactly make sense in-universe. why does this character say mc looks familiar to them and doesn't elaborate? well that's because they've seen them before in previous loops! why does mc know how this world works even though they've never been there? well that's because time loop! why do these two characters are in love with each other even though they've never even talked? well that's because they were in love in previous loops! i can talk about my hatred for that trope for hours, honestly.

okay, let's talk about characterization. tbh there's not much i can say because.. let's be honest, even though twst characters are definitely deep and interesting and fun, their personalities feel a bit "limited"(?) mostly because of their disney counterparts or because of how strong certain traits of their personalities are. and i'm not complaining.. mostly. i really wish some characters had more personality traits. but what i really hate is when some writers just.. throw away all the "ugly" or "unlikeable" traits of those characters to make them more "imagines-friendly". like i'm sorry, but sometimes i just read some fics and go "he would NOT say that". i know that people love the "OH BUT HE'S NICE TO Y/N" trope, i use it too sometimes, but like.. some people just really forget that this game is about characters who are literally based on disney villains. like it's okay, let them have flaws. and i don't mean those flaws that are like "omg he's so shyyyy >///<" or "hehe he can ramble a lot <3" NO. I MEAN ACTUAL FLAWS.

milgram: it's okay. it's okay guys. i promise it's okay that somebody can't see that character being gay or ships them with someone of an opposite sex. it's okay. and that's coming from someone who has almost no straight ocs.

like, listen, i'm a 0104 shipper. i see their relationship as romantic but i absolutely have nothing against platonic interpretations. but when people see something like ship art and go "muu is literally a lesbian btw" i'm like. i have so many hcs too but it's one thing to say that "hey i think this headcanon is very plausible and i think it's very neat" and to go "IT'S LITERALLY CANON" unironically and not as a joke. like idk, i'm just that kind of person who has lots of headcanons but until i see them actually being confirmed, i won't try to make people change their mind. (and just so you know i'm not trying to deny that she's attracted to girls. she has that vibe and she literally says "i love you" when she sees a girl and her pupils become bigger like?? but come on. it's okay for people to ship her with a male character until she literally says that she's not into boys in canon)

kazui is a whole different thing, i really was interested in the whole "yeah he's gay actually" theory and i love the memes, but now that people are saying it's "officially" canon and lowkey just. kinda being annoying, yeah, i don't even want to look at the tag anymore because i want to see actual theories and i don't want to see another "yeah he's gay so vote him inno". i'm not here to say that it's a dumb reason to forgive him, since we are literally allowed to have all kinds of reasons to forgive a character, but i think it's a weird thing to say when this guy really does seem like a very deep character, but i can't take him seriously anymore because of those theories that don't even sound like theories (and i mean it in a bad way and not bc they sound so canon)

24. "topic that brings up the most rancid discourse"

twst: honestly, this fandom mostly has like.. people-related drama, like this artist/writer/etc did something problematic, things like that. but i think if i had to choose a topic that annoys me the most.. these two topics kinda go together but i'll start with mc's gender. it actually doesn't get discussed that often, since we're supposed to see them as a self-insert, but i've really seen people say things like "mc is obviously supposed to be female" or "mc is obviously supposed to be male", etc.

i'm not going to pretend that i don't have my own opinion and i'm going to say that tbh i see twst mc as being male (one of the reasons why my mc is a guy), but that's mostly just because i usually prefer to play as a guy when it comes to games like that. (honestly if i have a choice, i choose fem mcs very rarely, stelle is like one of the few exceptions) however, i never try to prove why i'm right, i just kinda go "eh you do you". but i'm not gonna lie, those who believe that mc is female are the most annoying ones, like i get it, of course, a large part of twst fandom are women who are attracted to men, but also. there are. so many otome games. no literally a huge reason why i often don't feel comfortable playing otome games is because I HAVE NO IDEA WHY but i really just don't want to play as a girl and i don't want those characters to see my mc as a girl. (i rarely see my mc as a self-insert btw and almost always see them as their own character) LIKE I DON'T KNOW CAN'T PEOPLE WHO SEE THEIR MCS AS MALE/NB HAVE SOMETHING. like i literally love twst and obey me (i really should play it more often but again. my phone doesn't like it and idk if it will run on my tablet) exactly because of how "genderless" their mcs feel and that i can just see them as whatever gender i want them to be. and idk it just.. doesn't feel good when people are trying to remind me that "btw mc is obviously supposed to be a girl" especially when i already kinda know that considering the audience/demographic.

the second topic was probably more popular to discuss when i first got into the game and when it first came out: character x mc or character x character. i was a big character x character enjoyer and didn't really care about character x mc at first until i got interested in riddleyuu and malleyuu. but yeah, watching those sides fight was like. guys you both are losing. like some character x character fans were being mean and hating on self-inserts and some character x mc fans were saying things like "y'all just want more guys to ship". and like. there's nothing wrong with both of those things like calm down. i still can see people arguing because of that, but i just try to ignore them now tbh.
