tfw the man you love against your better judgement gets a kid to help him with his photojournalism and dies trying to expose the criminal he's been blackmailing and then the kid puts on a uniform that's way too big for him and calls himself spider-man after ben urich and you know he's going to get killed trying to serve justice to all the criminals in new york. and now there's a sixteen year old kid bleeding out on felicia's doorstep and again despite her better judgement, she cares. how much of that is a misplaced sense of responsibility for her dead lover, and how much of that is the deep feeling of injustice over how this child is the one fighting, and how felicia knows that she could never turn him away. what then </3

Irondad fic ideas #129
In an AU where everything is the same except Tony survived the snap in Endgame, MJ and Ned are both very aware that something is up with their memories. Huge, overlapping chunks of their lives are gone. And Spider-Man has something to do with it.
The only public figure Spider-Man has ever been closely associated with is Tony Stark. In need of answers, and not the types to just let something like this go, the kids hack and heist their way somehow onto Tony Stark's secret lake house property. It's weird that no alarms go off when they get close, but they manage it. They're about to knock, when Tony Stark, savior of the universe, opens the door.
He does not look great. Aside from the general post-battle healing and the fact that they have literally caught him at home, there's just something...off. It doesn't take long for them to realize that it's the same thing that's off with them, too.
Something important has been taken from all of their lives. Someone.
After Tony calms down from his initial freak-out, MJ and Ned (though mostly MJ) manage to convince him pretty quickly. The fact that FRIDAY never alarmed because they're in her system already is a huge point to their side.
And, the fact that he agrees with them. He survived the battle, everything should be fine. But something is so, very wrong. He's grieving someone he doesn't even know.
So, a new team is born. A trio united to find their shared missing person, the eraser mark in their memories none of them can bear to lose, all for different reasons.
They don't have much to go on, but Tony agrees with them on one thing: Spider-Man is involved somehow. And that's a good place to start.

Currently writing a modern AU spider centric fic. The boy lives off of thrift store bought clothing, a second hand cell phone- given to him by Lo'ak, and whatever food is left over. Why do I suddenly feel like Jake and Neytiri treat spider like the Dursleys treated Harry fucking Potter?
Oh right because they make it known hes unwanted.
[I hope you are bullet proof this bitch about to hurt]

sometimes i wonder if Miguel ever has moments of “what am i” in a mixed race and ethnicity way. Because Mexican-Irish bc of Conchata and George but with the whole thing with Tyler, do you think he’s ever like “Well I’m not part Irish at all then” and very conflicted about it? Because on one hand he’d love to have less connection with George but he also feels like he’s just throwing away part of himself??? Or with Conchata, his relationship with her is so damn complicated (i love it) and overall negative but I don’t think he’d ever just distance himself from his Mexican side because his mother is more than just “his Mexican side”. I DO think i’m overthinking it bc I can’t really remember if he ever said/mentioned anything dealing with this in the comics and i just wanna latch onto any part that’s relatable, but i really wanna know how Miguel thinks about himself in that regard 😭😭 but he’s probably too busy and stressed with other things to even consider that lol don’t need another problem on his plate

I’m surprised that Quaritch hasn’t snapped in your au yet, I mean he just lost his son again to other people, and there actually good parents unlike the sullys so he can’t really be mean to them so it would build up inside him which at some point will come out
it hurts, drives him absolutely nuts, makes his skin boil with anger, for two reasons; that's his son, and he knows he can't do better by him then his knew family.
he loves his boy so much, so much he's willing go to war for him, to die for him; but know he's faced with the choice of prying him from a home he knows for a fact he can't be better then. sure his boy would be his again, but he would be denied a mother who is fiercely protective of him, a father who can teach him to be a good man, siblings who make him feel like he belongs.
not only is he a single person, but e's not even a good one. spider would live a life on the run, subject to the will of the RDA, constantly faced with danger and isolation.
he knows he can't take his son away from his new home, not if he truly loves him, not if he truly wants the best for him.
thats what drives him crazy.

!! that's the first ive heard it being said that nezuko and genya are foils !, (granted i havent read much kny meta but) is it lik.e. bc they are both the younger sibling to an older sibling trying to protect them . but while nezuko gets to live on as human genya dies a demon ? or ? if you dont mind elaborating : ) ... (i just. Neat Thoughts. New Character Organisation Method i want to tuck away for my own writings)
oh yeah! i am. also not a expert on later chapters of kny and certainly not the Shinazugawa siblings, but i can try and explain!
tbh u basically got what i was getting at. especially in that ending bit. i always saw the kamados and Shinazugawas as foils, and im sure im not the first to point it out. (i feel like i read a post abt somewhere?? its been to long and i Dont Remember lol <:3) but the way i see it is that they both come from very similar backgrounds, having lost their entire families and being left with only each other. tanjiro and sanemi also have a similar pattern of wanting to keep their younger siblings out of battle. but they definitely go about it in different ways. to put it lightly
sanemi does not want genya to become a demon slayer and actively pushes him away despite genya's insistence. tanjiro considers keeping nezuko with tamayo and yushiro to keep her safe but accepts nezuko's choice to stay with him. different but the same if u get where im coming from.
i also thought it was interesting how the older brothers reacted to their siblings dying. now nezuko didnt end up dying, but tanjiro certainly thought she did. and nezuko probably also thought she would die, thats why it was a powerful sacrifice for her to make. and genya died fighting kokushibo and was a huge help during that fight, yet died in the end despite his efforts. its a “they won, but as what cost” kinda situation, which a frequent theme in kny. as anyone would be, the older brothers were fulled by their anger over this to keep going and destroy what needs to be destroyed, tho they show it in different ways since tanjiro and sanemi have very different personalities. tanjiro has a more quiet grief as opposed to sanemi being Very Loud abt it. totally valid on both ends. and both the younger siblings sacrificing themselves for the cause of destroying demons, despite the cost of their own lives and both older siblings just trying to put them back together and failing. one pair definitely got out luckier than the other :’). i just think its a neat comparison. maybe not intentional, but neat
but yeah! you could go deeper with that with what a relationship between nezuko and genya would be like but that turns into speculations and headcannons soooo, thats all i can really think of off the top of my head!! older brother demon slayers protecting their younger demon (and sometimes demon) siblings from the world of demons. they are both. not so good at that but they try :)
