like the title says, here are some of my silly stupid megumi fushiguro headcannons ⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪

he really likes to read, so sometimes he’ll buy 2 copies of a new book so he can give the second to you and you guys can read together

sometimes your hangout sessions are just you two sitting in the common room reading your books together while listening to music.

when he’s crushing on you, sometimes he’ll let nobara and yuji motivate him to do stupid things to “get you to fall for him” and he gets super flustered and red.

one time you all were in the library doing research and megumi came up to you like “it’s a good thing i have my library card because i am totally checking you out”. you couldn’t help but giggle at this.

gojo heavily influenced the way he styles his hair

he takes his divine dogs out for walks, brings them to dog parks at night and plays fetch with them.

he loves going on walks while listening to music and zoning out, sometimes he just sits somewhere and watches the world around him, not thinking about all the craziness that comes with being a jujutsu sorcerer.

he loves photography, his camera roll is secretly filled with pictures of yuji and nobara smiling and laughing together, pretty pictures of the sky, him and gojo, and pictures of his divine dogs.

he’s actually super sentimental and he hates that about himself. he can’t bring himself to throw away any stupid note one of his classmates slid him or the acorn that one of his dogs brought to him randomly or any of his polaroids.

he likes watching news or true crime stories with a snack late at night. sometimes his classmates will ask to join him but they get bored easily so he’s usually on his own.

summons his shikigami randomly just for you to play with, especially his dogs whenever you’re visibly upset or had a bad day, he loves seeing how they light up your face.

he loves when people touch his hair or play with it. he would never admit it so it doesn’t happen often but when someone ruffs his hair up he doesn’t push them away

unironically listens to weezer.

he’s a hot head but he never lets his emotions get THAT out of hand

tells you the craziest things ever so nonchalantly, like he’ll tell you a story about how he hardly escaped with his life on one of his missions without a hint of any emotion and then is shocked when you show emotion over it

he loves coffee, he knows all the best coffee spots in tokyo, but he gatekeeps them. one time he brought you to this coffee shop/ bakery he really liked though and he is thinking about showing you another one of his spots

he has a crazy memory, like you mentioned liking a specific fast food place and he surprised you with your favorite food from said restaurant and a movie because you had a bad day.

he practically lives in track pants and sweat pants outside of his school uniform, most of his clothes are dark colors.

he actually has really big sweet tooth but tries to avoid too many sugary foods since it’s bad for him

he actually shops with nobara quiet often, he usually doesn’t buy much though.

he’s the type of guy to be like “¥25,000?? I can get this online for half that” even though he could easily afford the 25000.

The warm lighting enveloping the environment around you made the room seem cozy and welcoming. You invited some friends over to your and Peter’s apartment to catch up, the hectic life of work and school consuming the group. With a drink in your hand, you’re lounging on the couch with Peter by your side. He’s so close to you, that you’re practically on his lap., but you don’t mind.  

If a stranger walked into your apartment and took a glance at you and Peter, the last thing they would think is that you’re in a relationship. Peter is quiet and tends to be a little nerdy when it comes to things he’s interested in. He leans towards muted colors and casual wear. He’s awkward, in the cutest ways, and doesn’t like to speak when he’s not directly spoken to. Peter’s always been shy around people, opting for you to do the talking, especially around new people. Well, newish. He’s met your friends a few times, but he hasn’t found the right time to be truly comfortable around them. You don’t blame him, you have your own moments when you feel as though you should just observe. 

You on the other hand, you’re more outgoing. It’s easy to make conversation with you, and Peter’s noticed that you draw people towards you. He’s tried to tell you that once, but you quickly denied that, saying that you’re so awkward that it’s sometimes ‘hard to watch’. Peter sometimes looks into your closet when he’s doing laundry and glances at the row of colors. You have an array of dresses that all cater to a certain event. He’s also noticed the array of jewelry spread on your vanity, most of them have a heart right in the middle of it. He noticed that one of your necklaces was a locket, he opened it and saw a picture of him. He doesn’t remember exactly when it was taken, but in the picture, you are squishing his cheeks to pucker out his lips. His eyes are the only indication of his smile that is hidden beneath your fingers. 

Sitting next to him, he notices you’re wearing the same locket necklace, fiddling with it as you talk to your friends. He smiles as he looks back up to you, your way of interacting with your peers makes him forget there’s anyone around you. In his mind, it’s just you. 

“Hey Peter,” the sound of his name pulling him back to the group in front of him, “how’s school going?” 

He can feel your beautiful eyes look up at him, awaiting an answer. “Oh it’s…it’s good. It’s just getting a little busy with midterms starting up.”

A quick conversation about midterms starts but quickly ends when someone gets up to grab another drink, asking around if anyone wants anything else. You and Peter shake your head at the question and remain seated on the couch. You nestle your way farther into him as he throws an arm around your shoulders. 

Nights like these are nice. You get to catch up with your friends without having to leave Peter behind. You know that evenings with him are far and few due to his nightly activities, so you try to keep your outings spread out. Even though you know he’s going to be occupied anyway, you like being there for him, and you know that he likes it too. 

A few more hours pass before people start to head home, the final person leaving just after midnight. Saying your goodbyes, you shut the door and lock it. Turning around, your eyes lay onto Peter’s silhouette, the lights dimmed as the night began to wind down. He’s grabbing trash from off the counter and throwing them away, beginning to clean up before you. You walk over to the mess, placing some cups and plates in the sink before giving them a quick rinse. “Thank you for sticking around,” you put more plates in the sink, “you really didn’t have to you know.”

He faces you putting the last item in the trash, “It’s alright, I wanted to.”

You finish putting the dishes in the sink, saving them for the morning, as you take a few steps towards him and wrap your arms around his neck, “God Peter, I love you. So so much.”

Peter places his hands comfortably on your waist, a soft grin planted on his face, “I love you too, bug.”

You’re already on your tippy toes, trying to reach for his lips as Peter leans down to give you the sweetest kiss. Leaning you on the counter, he presses into you more, wanting to savor the moment. Pulling away with one last peck, you whisper, “Let’s go to bed, it’s getting late.”

A giggle is heard from the man in front of you, “Oh yeah, let’s go to bed.” A wink followed his sentence. 

“Oh sure,” you reply sarcastically, “in your dreams, bug boy.” Pulling him by the hand, you turn off the lights and lead him to your room. Soft laughs are the only things heard as you walk down the hallway and head to bed, wrapping yourself in the warmth of Peter.

-Y’all’s daughter is the cutest little thing; inheriting your brown skin tone with his white hair and blue eyes.

-When Koyo was an infant, you would constantly wake up to her just staring at you with those big blue eyes. It was a bit jarring at first, you had to get used to it just like you did with Gojo. The creepiest, though, was once when you checked the baby monitor in the middle of the night and she was staring directly into the camera.

-Gojo loves that Koyo inherited your curls, they’re one of his favorite things about you. He tries his hardest to do styles on her, but they never turn out quite right. Plenty of times when he’d tried to do something as simple as pigtails they ended up crooked. He leaves most of the styles to you, letting you do all types of braids and twists on your baby.

-Potty training is hell; your daughter HATES pooping on the potty.

“Koyo, do you need to potty?” You ask. It’s been about two hours since she last went, and you’re trying to keep up a schedule. She shakes her head and continues playing with her blocks. Just to be sure, you walk over to her to check her pull-up. You smell it before you see it. Koyo catches onto you, so she starts running away.

“Satoru, come get your child!” You yell. And just like that, your husband appears with Koyo upside down in his hand. She’s just giggling like it’s the funniest thing in the world.

-Gojo spoils his baby. Oh, she’s spoiled rotten, but you wouldn’t have it any other way.

“Daddy, I want this!” Your three year old points at an expensive toy kitchen set.

“How do you ask nicely, Koyo?” Satoru asks.

“May I have this toy please?”

“I say yes, but we gotta ask the boss. Well, mama, whaddya think?” He picks Koyo up in his arms and holds her at his level. The two of them stare at you expectantly, waiting on your response.

“Alright, alright. What color do you want?” You give in. Your daughter squeals and laughs with delight.

-When y’all sign her up for daycare, Gojo is more upset than you are. And that’s saying a lot. On her first day, you have tears brimming in your eyes. It hurts seeing your baby walk away happily into her new class.

“What if she needs me? What if something happens? She can’t go to school yet, she’s just a baby!” Gojo laments in the car. Your three year old is very smart and mature for her age, so realistically you don’t have much to worry about. Unfortunately, though, she has two very dramatic parents who love her dearly.

“Let’s go back and get her. We can go get her and she can start over tomorrow. I’ll be ready then,” he begs.

-To be honest, Gojo kinda eats as a dad. He’s super fun, but he can get serious. He’s so go-with-the-flow that anytime a hiccup happens in your meticulous plans, he calms you into believing everything will be ok. Eventually though, he wants another kid. Koyo is four already and he misses having a little baby.

“Cmonnnn let’s have one more. Koyo needs someone to play with and I miss the baby stage. Plus, you look so sexy pregnant. I love seeing you round with my babies. You know I love breeding your tight little cunt,” the last of his words are nothing more than a whisper in your ear. You end up folding for him that same night.

-Satoru definitely makes Megumi watch the kids when y’all need a night out. Megumi doesn’t mind too much because both kids are well behaved. All three of his students love your kids; Yuuji likes playing a little rough with your son, Kawa, and Nobara loves dressing Koyo up

i got a ton of asks in my inbox so im just going to put all of them here so i don't spam u guys with it haha

this is really the only guy i use. felt pen on clip studio is excellent for the sketchier style i like! when it comes to coloring i just use a basic solid brush !

i imagine they do, and they each get assigned a baby (tanjiro with giyuu, inosuke with sanemi, and zenitsu with obanai) but it lasts for barely a day. inosuke has no idea what hes doing and obanai cant stand zenitsu

tengens wives find the situation hysterical but they help out however they can. ofc they all fight over tengen. they love helping out with the kiddies but they especially enjoy taking care of the younger ones-- they think mui, mitsuri, and shinobu are adorable! tengen definitely tries to flirt with them but hes a cringe fail ten year old

kanao, aoi, and the butterfly girls all help out as well. kanao and shinobu are typically glued together

shinjuro and senjuro are shocked to see rengoku (and obanai) and while shinjuro is pissed off at first, he can't Not take in his boys. senjuro and little obanai are super similar in nature so

urokodaki, tengen, and nezuko are worried but excited about giyuu's transformation. they're like lets freaking go. good childhood moment

and of course genya thinks the situation is hilarious and hes happy to get to spend time with his brother, although he's VERRRRY awkward. he's a bit avoidant at times but usually gyomei and tanjiro can talk him

aw thank you! to answer your question;; shinobu and gyomei basically spend time with him and are attentive to his wants/needs to help him recognize he does matter. rengoku and the others help with this! essentially love language stuff and affirmations and what not

ill be honest i totally forgot about this. yea! i would say the babies are only put in a very specific area of the manor and they deep clean it constantly. if they have a good amount of sick/wounded i imagine they have gyomei or etc take them in. im not sure! in my mind the hashira all rotate and babysit and etc

this 100% happens. urokodaki learned the news and had never traveled to the headquarters so fast

ohh this is a fun question! truthfully im not sure what the answer to this would be... i appreciate all the questions/ideas/etc!! if anything id love to have more questions about general characterization stuff, since thats my favorite favorite favorite to talk about!!! maybe more questions about like... what their relationships are like, do they have nicknames for each other, that sort of thing... idk! either way im glad people are interested :D

sanemi tries to make them laugh. he remembers his little siblings always cheering up when he would make silly faces and sounds, so he does that here

giyuu awkwardly pats the other baby's back/head and is like "there there" ... he remembers how sabito's hugs would make him feel better so he awkwardly hugs the other. most of the time obanai/sanemi stop crying purely bc they're confused as to why giyuu is hugging them

obanai would usually talk them out of it, but he can't do too much since he's restricted to baby babble. so instead, he will try to find one of their toys and "gift" it to them. ex giyuu was sobbing hysterically until obanai found his fox plushie and gave it to him

defintely one of the rodent pokemon. my favorite pokemon changes constantly but im told i have mimikyu / teddiursa / bunneary vibes. i also like espurr. i have no idea UWEIHRWE

i think he would be a little awkward at first but he would get the hang of it. most of what he does is just keep them entertained and make sure they arent sick or hurt. though he eventually builds up the courage to ask if he can feed obanai. from that point on whenever muichiro is babysitting he's the one offering to feed him, though someone else has to make the bottle-- he doesn't know how to do that

Hands down, Obanai. Though I also feel really sad for Gyomei and Muichiro, and I think Tengen's story (what we know of it) is pretty sad. I don't like comparing traumas, though! but yeah. obanai is. wow. poor guy

Dating him

✉️Jeongin would’ve never asked you out if Han wasn’t stupid enough to accidentally tell you that you had a crush on him. The second Jeongin knew you liked him he was giddy and ready to start bumping up the charm. He’d be super dorky but in the most charming way possible. Jeongin ended up asking you out when you two were already eating lunch together.

“What if this was a date. What would you say to that?”

“You heard me.”

✉️Jeongin is a total sweetheart but also a total gremlin when it comes to being romantic. He’s like those sour patch kid commercials. At one point he’s teasing you over how you got your new shoes dirty, then he’s giving you an extra pair of his wild ass shoes.

✉️Whenever he’s playing video games with the boys and it ends in an argument, he usually relies on you to take his side. Even if he’s wrong, just to get on Felix or Seungmin’s nerves you’ll agree with your boyfriend.

✉️You don’t usually sleep at the dorm however, he does love going on overnight trips to random places. Whether it be an amusement park, or waterpark. He loves to walk with you in public and admire you.

✉️Quiet times involve you guys building little models together and sometimes legos. You really love the Lego sets that are themed, like the Star Wars or Harry Potter sets. He likes messing with them when you’re not looking so it works out

💌Jeongin’s love is special, it’s youthful and filled with banter. It’s sort of like the color yellow. Yellow is loud and can be annoying but it’s so warm and reminds you of summer.

have you ever asked yourself: “hey, wouldn’t it be nice if i could quickly browse all the special warm-up jerseys that nhl teams have worn in collaboration with local or independent artists?” the answer to this is probably no so Don’t answer that, but... if you were ever to randomly stumble upon this train of thought, you would now be able to do so @ nhlwarmups.github.io! 

i created this website out of personal interest and an enduring love for beautiful jersey designs; i love art in all forms and really just love looking at it, so in my inability to find an existing project that fulfilled my desire of browsing through all these jerseys in a centralized location i somehow... singlehandedly motivated myself to take on the task? LOL but otherwise i also wanted to make this database because... well, i feel like even though a lot of league-wide inclusion initiatives ultimately rely on/benefit teams’ commercial interests, and even though it feels like there’s recently been an overabundance of dialogue re: player action or inaction, theme-night dissent and sociocultural pressure, the culminating breaking points of bisected fandom, etc.... art still kind of matters! to me, to the designers, to real people who attend games and who coordinate events and who run media platforms and do what small facets of work can still be done.

Anyway. this site itself is sort of meaningless and doesn’t really accomplish much at the end of the day, but i guess i wanted to (try to) refocus the concept of a “warm-up jersey” back on the people who actually create them, and ultimately to reattach the positive components of theme nights in a way that felt slightly tangible and concrete. the site itself isn’t very complicated so hopefully it’s fairly self-navigable, but some quick notes on content and functionality:

as of april 4, 2023, this database displays 82 special jerseys from 21 different nhl teams

i’ve currently only included special jerseys designed with a highlighted artist in my set. that is, while some teams have worn different pride/heritage night/etc. jerseys with either stock-template designs or artwork otherwise created in-house, those jerseys weren’t logged unless an artist was specifically named. for example, the penguins pride jersey from 2022-23 isn’t included but the ducks lunar new year jersey (which was created by a ducks graphic designer) from 2022-23 is.

there are different sidebar options to help quickly search for a specific type or style of jersey: you can sort by team/event/date and filter by category/team/season/base color

lastly, clicking on one of the preview cards will bring you to a details page with additional information on each jersey, including social media links to support the artist, notes on charity benefits, an image gallery of the design, and embedded tweets highlighting the artist when available:

I love how you draw Hornet and her design. It's fluffy and it looks like she is tired. Anyways I was wondering if there was a time where Hornet would have had more than 2 pairs of arms. I feel like out of all of the family she would be the one with multiple arms as both her parents have it.

Since I am on the topic, what other designs have you tried? I know when you were revealing Asta and Milo you said they were somewhat reminiscent of Leaks designs.

She's always had just two arms, actually. While it makes sense for her to have at least 4, perhaps Herrah only actually has 2 arms while the rest of her limbs are legs. Kind of like a spider centaur, maybe. I don't have a design for her yet, so this is just me thinking out loud. If not, then maybe Hornet just got really unlucky in the limbs department and somehow only got 2 arms.

As for other design iterations... Hm. Well, there were her previous cloak designs. At the very beginning of the AU she had a canon-esque cloak with some additional details. Then I designed new clothes for her, a sweater-like undershirt with a red cape-like cloak on top. In the AU canon, her old cloak got destroyed and then what was left of it was reused for a more fancy eyepatch for Holly.

But I ended up changing the design of that new cloak, the new undershirt is mode medieval-esque and the cloak is dark blue. I like this color combination better and I do think she would dress in more muted colors to fit the style of Dirtmouth better. It helps her blend in but it's also a subtle sign of her finally acknowledging her role in the community. She's no longer a lone wolf like before, she's part of the townsfolk now. It's a pretty big step for her, and I think having her clothes reflect that is a pretty neat detail.

Her actual body didn't really change much, mostly because I've never actually drawn it prior to the most recent reference. Her headshape got some changes, it's a lot more round now, and her eyes are more noticeably brown with big dark pupils. I never really experimented with her design very much so the clothes are the only thing that was worth mentioning.

And yes, Milo in particular was super close to an early Lewk design. Asta not so much, though being Milo's twin sister means that she does share some similarities with that old concept.

Here's the super old sketch and Milo for comparison. As you can see, it's a veeery similar idea. The main difference is the lack of fluff, but Grimm was a lot less fluffy back then so the old baby design reflected that. Oh and FPK didn't have eyebrows. So the baby didn't have them either. Funniest thing is, I didn't even intend to call back to that design, I finished drawing Milo and only then made the connection. Nothing is ever truly lost it seems.

Today's modding shenanigans!

Today I wanted to test out ACM a bit :D I think I'd most enjoy using it as an additional tool for making custom outfits and seeing how different item appearances work together, less as my primary tool to creating custom outfits as such (also, it is a bit buggy for me and I can't seem to export appearances reliably for some reason).

Since you can alter custom appearances with it too, though, you could definitely mod one "base outfit" and then change the colors spontaneously for a different vibe (for example, I could make an apperance for Kerry wearing one t-shirt and then change the shirt decal or color on the fly in game without cluttering his .app file with a dozen different appearances that are virtually the same just different colors!). Wondering though if there exists a resource that lists every item's appearance names (cause some are super specific and hard to guess, like... instead of "black" or "smiley-face" you have appearances like "6th street" or "black_capsules") for this purpose... and if not, I'll probably make one just because I would find it useful to have xD

Also, ACM is really neat for taking off Kerry's jewelry on the fly for certain pics XD Or changing nail colors and things like that! In all these regards this is a super useful resource as is already, but I'm excited where the mod makers will take it :D (also... random sidenote, but can we talk about Dante for a moment? I'm a little bit in love, and I need his shirt not only for Kerry but also for Vince XD).

Then some silly behind the scenes stuff xDD @netcess said that Reed really needs a party outfit with a cool hat, so I put something quick and simple together for her and... I wanted to take a pic and as I went into Photomode, Vince spawned straight across from Reed and looked so disappointed at him partying without him when so many pressing issues are at hand XD Just really fun little moment I wanted to capture, intensified by facepalm XD

Honestly he rocks it XD Might make a recolor to fit his suit when the mood strikes xD

No but I actually tried my hand at editing this hair mesh for Kerry, cause it was clipping a bit here and there! This is done super quick and dirty like... In theory I know I could export his headmesh and then fit it exactly to that, but for now this aint so bad already actually! :D No more clipping into the side of his head and the hairline in the front looks better. I left out Johnny's hair cap and all that because I wanted to go for a really really short, very freshly shaved look for this like...

Something he would've done at the end of his tour right before coming back to Night City. Keeping the long hair consistent for all concerts. And as I said, I 100% get why he has that look, like... It has old, seasoned rocker vibes, it's so much less clean and more himself than his 2077-appearance like... natural hair color, not styled at all, embracing himself again with the whole "I'm gonna name my next album "Kerry Eurodyne" and go back to my roots thing, he looks like he just came off stage, sweaty and tousled, so... yes!! I do love it for all those reasons, but idk... I feel like, it's also at the same time something low maintenance that he doesn't have to pay a lot of mind to, escaping into his music and career after apparently losing V. And I think with the tour over and with getting V back so unexpectedly, he'd change things up a bit again. It's a concert/tour look for me. And this style is also low maintenance, while still Kerry, still rebellious, but a little more cleaned-up, in control of his life, if that makes sense?

Especially your last point, cutting/shaving your hair to mark a new beginning is 100% such a thing he'd do!! So yeah, I think I'll stick with this for his two-years-plus-four-months-later look xD

Moonbeam Cass (Reverse Robins)

As Duke's successor, Cass will of course be iterating on his design. Normally, this would've taken a lot longer to put together (as you've probably noticed, they tend to be multi-day designing marathons.) However, I had a stroke of inspiration last night that I absolutely love, and everything else came together very quickly after that, so let's start the ball rolling with Moonbeam's new helmet...

...a gold-mesh saber mask! Cass wraps the top in cream-colored fabric, so that it's an off-white helmet with a gold mesh bubble in front of her face. She also wears a white neck gaiter under it to further conceal her identity, even when the light does hit the mesh just right for someone to see through it.

I feel like Cass would go back to the demi-cuirass, but she'd change it up; now it's a cream-colored leather piece worn over the brassy/golden chainmail tunic, which obviously goes very well with the new mesh mask.

(This, but in off-white & without the tie. Its job is a little extra protection and displaying Moonbeam's symbol. On a meta level, it also helps visually break things up & keep them interesting.)

The Moonbeam symbol is still an iridescent white circle, but Cass's version is definitely ringed in gold.

The chainmail tunic hangs just past her knees, but splits into multiple panels (3-6, though I'm sure some people would draw it as individual strands, which while not practical, is a hell of a look that I absolutely support!) at the tops of her thighs.

Cass actually wears 2 utility belts, in that complete-fantasy way where they hang at a diagonal to form an X at hip-height. You know, the kind that would just fall off if anyone really tried to wear them that way, but looks so cool in character design?

(I'm so annoyed that I can't find a reference image for this, so here's a super-quick mockup thrown together in GIMP. Thanks to the base maker for saving me here.)

The undersuit Cass wears is white, but is only really visible on her legs; the chainmail is full-sleeve (fitted, rather than hanging loose.) It looks like she's wearing lightly padded white leggings, though they are, of course, made of the most flexible stab- & tear-resistant fabric Bruce could get his hands on.

Continuing down, Cass wears sturdy brown motorcycle boots, probably with a little pocket or two, under the same greaves she briefly wore in Red Robin (2009), but the greaves are the same golden as her mask.

(These boots but maybe a little taller, an example of pockets, and the awesome costume she wore for all of one single issue and then we never saw it again.)

Bouncing back up real quick, I'd give Cass her Orphan pauldrons, specifically this iteration of them where it looks like they have a little gold moon on them, but with a cream background instead of black.

(I want to say she has tiny matching elbow pads worn over the chainmail sleeves, though that's another detail I feel would disappear fast if anyone actually had to draw this costume for a comic. Possibly for good reason, I worry they might be just a little bit too much.)

Finally, Cass's costume is topped off with a pair of gauntlets; the metal is once again that creamy-white (this time with gold edging) and the leather base matches her boots perfectly.

(Source 1, Source 2. You'd be surprised how long I looked to find a style I actually liked for this costume.)

The Moonbeam circle that Duke wore on the back of his hand is now inlaid at the center of Cass's palm, and is rigged to actually work as a flash-weapon if she needs it to. This helps her pretend that Moonbeam still has Duke's powers, acts as a last-resort surprise in a pinch, and I'd like you to imagine her holding out her hand to help someone with a shimmering, inviting glow lighting up her palm.

(I also want you to imagine her standing next to Shadow!Steph, since they're basically a matched set. I was not actively working to have their costumes compliment eachother, since that wasn't the in-universe plan when Cass took up the mantle, but I think they'd compliment eachother nicely.)

So I’ve been drawing this today

It’s a redraw of this picture I made a good 3 or so years ago

Funny enough, this isn't technically the origin of the picture either, as I made a pose base for it that I just ended up reusing with these two, which was originally taken from a Pokémon anime screenshot that featured Jesse and Steven in wedding outfits (I don't think I have a picture of that original)

Anyways, so I made this because I was drawing these guys again, as you already know, and I just wanted to redraw this piece, seeing as how I was already redesigning them. This also gave me a good time to figure out Rasmus' green design

Also note I ended up asking my friend for ideas with the trio's new names, and she suggested Cinder for Rasmus. The name fits his theme, but I don't know if I'm personally sold yet. Personally, I like Cedar but upon looking it up, cedar isn't really a dark brown color, if anything it's more red, so

I did end up changing his colors to a more yellowish hue, which made me think of olives. So I think I might make his birth name Olive

I feel like Olive is seen as a more feminine name, while Basil would be more masculine, when it's the opposite here. Ah well

I tried to give them more "western" style outfits, but I really did end up just making something up. I think it turned out fine though

The flower in Periwinkle's hair is supposed to be like a rose, but I don't actually know how to draw roses, and can only vaguely remember how a super cartoony rose I saw was drawn, so have a flower that's kind of just...something

Also, she doesn't normally wear a flower in her hair, but the depicted scene is supposed to be when they got married, so it's a special occasion. They eloped to be together, so their marriage wasn't really much of anything other than paperwork and a nice dinner, but it was still a very happy day for them

I was originally going to give them the normal colored outlines I give characters, but I got this dark blue and was like "screw it, make that the whole outline color" and so I did. Gives me a blue ballpoint feel and I like it. I did do Olive's horns a different color, but I usually draw those horns like that, it just doesn't look right with normal line colors

And I just realized I forgot their tails. They do have them, but I keep forgetting they exist when I draw them. I mean I suppose they aren't that important, but still

Also, while I wasn't able to portray it, Olive is supposed to be very fluffy. It didn't feel entirely right to have his chest fur be out so you can see it, and I was struggling with giving the characters chin fur prior, so I didn't put that. I do have to come up with a solution to that. Also, while Olive was fluffy and soft, after his transformation his fur basically singed off and he hasn't been able to grow any more than short, rough fur. It is something he mourns but isn't that pressing in the grand scheme of the disaster he found himself in

Also while we're here, I might as well explain some backstory between these two

So Periwinkle comes from a rich, aristocratic family while Olive came from a somewhat poor one, where he and his mother worked at the local tavern. Olive's parents had him young and on accident, and a few years in his dad dipped due to his rising music career (though he did regularly send them some of his earnings), and Basil's pretty bitter about the whole situation

Anyways, so Perri and Olive eventually met and fell in love. However, Perri's family disapproved of their romance due to Olive's status, and Basil disapproved because this was exactly how she got into her situation (it wasn't exact, the two couples had very different relationships, but it was close enough for Basil to see their relationship as rubbish). So they eventually decided to run away so they could be together, with some help coming from Perri's sisters, who thought that Olive's status also didn't matter and they knew he was a good guy

Things would end up going horribly for them, but at least for a couple years, they were happy together

And yeah, that's this. Legit, I'm really proud of how this redraw came out, and I like looking at the clear improvement

HELLOWTROLLS FANDOM I HAVE CONVERTED TO TROLLSISM

ANYWAYYYY my Trolls OCs since I finally figured out designs for them. YouTube links are also being wonky so most of the links are to Spotify 💀

First up is Momentune.

His voice claim is Zach Callison.

He’s the manager of Mount Rageous. His mother was a Siren,, or a species similar to one? And his father was a Rageon. Not sure how it worked out, but it worked out. His mother is also who he inherited the extra eye from.

He went into the music business once he was old enough, while his parents were still the managers of Mount Rageous. He ended up developing a stage persona known as Miss Friction (doodle on the right). It didn’t last long though, since his parents decided to travel the world and left Momentune to run the place.

A few months before the pop star twins Velvet and Veneer became celebrities, Momentune had come across Citrine, a Troll who traveled away from her tribe and was looking to settle down somewhere. Momentune agreed to take Citrine under his wing and they grew close, with Citrine eventually becoming co-manager of Mount Rageous.

They had their suspicions of Velvet and Veneer being sneaky, but never had any proof as Velvet and Veneer always hid Floyd before Momentune investigated them. Momentune and Citrine weren’t arrested or charged solely because they found no visible evidence at the time before the twin’s arrest.

Momentune’s dancing style is similar to that of Waacking (SU fans I know this is gonna summon y’all hello).

Speaking of SU, that’s a reason I chose Zach Callison as Momentune’s voice claim. While Callison’s singing can be quite intense, he can also sing so softly and it’s so relaxing. Only example I can think of at the moment where it’s relaxing is this.

His stage persona was inspired by drag, as the era he’s based off of was when modern drag was considered to have grown more popular. Mainly in New York.

He’s actually FTM. His color palette originally was supposed to look like the trans flag.

His theme is Tonight by Sunset Neon. Could potentially work as a villain song, if he were one.

Her voice claim is AJ Michalka.

Citrine is a Pop Troll who traveled the world to find a name for herself. She tried to form a band for the longest time with those of different Trolls tribes, but she always found herself always feeling out of place.

Eventually, she began to realize that the reason why she always felt out of place was the simple fact that she didn’t want to start a band. Citrine always preferred to lead and direct other Trolls instead of participating in dancing and singing all the time.

She made her way to Mount Rageous after overhearing about it from a few of the Trolls she had been staying with at the time. When Citrine finally arrived there, she immediately headed towards the Rage Dome.

Citrine came across a Rageon called Momentune, who immediately took a liking to her style, and introduced himself as the manager of Mount Rageous. He and Citrine got to know each other for awhile, and Citrine eventually decided that she would like to work by his side as co-manager.

Her dancing style is still a work in progress, but it’s probably a combination of the Rageons and Pop Trolls. Along with what she ended up learning from Momentune.

She does occasionally dance and sing, but only with Momentune, as the both of them are super close. Despite being separate species, they consider each other as twins.

yes. we torture rui. that. that's like all there is.

emu, nene and miku are all in slightly altered green workout project diva (?) outfits with different details and stuff i guess (but they all have to match cuz cohesive set thingy.)

so from the beginning of the song to around the end of the first chorus we're in the wondershow sekai, with rui sat at a table, refusing to eat his vegetable filled bentou. nuh-uh. no way in bahooey. and emu, miku and nene are just walking around him as. the po pi po cult, tryna get him to eat his food. oh also meiko rin len and luka have rui at tazer-point so if he ever tries to run off he'd probably go bbbrzrzZRRZRZRZBZRZBZRZBRZRZRZBZBRZRBZRBZRZZZZZZ (yes, in bold)

and then around after the first chorus, kaito leads tsukasa to the main area and he's like. what's going on. and then he sees the table, rui and the vegetable-filled bentou. ohhhhhhhhhhhh. but instead of joining the po pi po cult he goes sits at the table with rui and tries to coax him into actually eating his vegetables.

(for the whole thing the camera focuses on the po pi po cult, but from here rui and tsukasa argue in the back. like look. "but they taste disgusting!" "but they're good for you!" "have you even felt the texture of those disgusting things?" "just eat it TwT" "let's kiss" "sur... sTOP DISTRACTING ME")

and yeah after that exchange of dialogue we focus on more po pi po cult!! in the choruses there's going to be. flying vegetables and like vegetable juice carton box thingy cutouts cuz we have to push the theme or something

and po pi po cult is surrounding the oddballs (mainly 2) and yk. pushing him to eat the vegetables.

and then around the second chorus in the back tsukasa goes "*sigh* okay fine. if i kiss you will you eat your vegetables?" but rui only heard kiss so they go at it (woo.)

but then but then!! (for some reason i feel like he sounds like nene here if she wasn't part of the po pi po cult) near the end, (a very flustered, tomato-red) tsukasa's like "okay. now eat your vegetables." "eh?!" "what eh. that was the deal." "there was a deal?!?" "stop playing dumb =w= eat your vegetables before i take these chopsticks and feed you myself." "waa~, you're going to feed me? kasa, you're such a romantic~" "...mhm... *looks at vegetable-filled bentou*"

Think about the girlies nails rn bc I haven't gotten mine done in a while

Bloom: Bites, worries, and rips up her nails all the fucking time. At first it's just because she has pretty bad anxiety and is constantly fidgeting, and part of that is fucking up her nails, but after her first transformation when her Domino looks are restored she starts ripping them up because she hates how shes reminded of how fucked up her life has gotten. During s3 when Bloom is calming down after the pure anger she was running on for the end of s1 and most of s2 Stella starts painting her nails so they taste bad to bite and are harder to rip up so Bloom breaks her bad habit of destroying them. After this Bloom starts growing her nails out because she never actually cut them in the first place so they just grow out until she accidentally breaks them. They're usually like mountain peak claw shaped nails, because that's how they grow, but when Bloom gets them done she sometimes gets them in a oval kinda shape to have her old nail shape back for a little while.

Stella: Always has her nails done because of course she does she's Stella, fingernails and toenails. She usually has nails extending as well. Her nails aren't super long, she prefers medium length extensions. Her nails in s1-3 are done in an almond shaped, but in s4 she starts getting them done in a ballerina shape. After all that she needed a change, and it matches her new vibe and style better. They're usually in orange, blue, or green, but sometimes she gets them in white a more neutral color if she has a specific outfit planned that her usual nail colors will clash with. In her magic forms her nails are much shorter and don't go past her finger, as she uses a staff in combat and that can get difficult with long nails.

Flora: Her nails are usually pretty short, barely going past her finger in a oval shape. Mostly so they won't get broken while she's gardening and won't hurt under her gardening gloves. Even though she usually wears sandals and flip flops she usually doesn't bother doing her toe nails. She's usually not looking at her feet and neither are most people so it doesn't matter to her. Sometimes she'll do it for a special event or just because she wants to but it isn't usual.

Tecna: In s1 Tecna keeps her nails short in a square shape. Just a little bit of her diva energy seeping out despite the fact that she's convinced herself that emotions are cringe and logic is king. Though she's always been terrible at actually controlling her emotions lmao. When Tecna finally allows herself to express herself properly, instead of pushing all her emotions down and ignoring her anger until it boils over, her nails get longer. Not super long because typing would be inconvenient, but visibly pasted her finger. Like medium short. She'd love nail art and doing funny things, she has gauges and dimple piercings in my thing she tries flare nails and edge nails at least once.

Musa: Girlie does not take care of her nails. She's a tomboy and she plays instruments. While Musa primarily plays the flute, she can play every instrument. Which means string instruments, which notoriously do not get along with having any length to your nails. Due to her rejection of girly things in s1-s2 she doesn't really paint her nails, when she accepts herself, her sister, and stops distancing herself from feminine things she allows Stella to paint them or drag her along to a salon s3 on. The more she gets into fun performance outfits the more she does her nails as well.

Aisha: Very well manicured short nails. Aisha does a lot of stuff with her hands and long nails does not play nice with rock climbing so she cuts and flies them often. Very well maintained though, usually wears a clear coat, or skin tone colored nail polish that goes with everything. However in her magic forms her nails are usually longer and always fun colors, it's a chance to express herself without her nail polish being immediately ruined. At first she really didn't like nail polish because all it did was remind her of getting ready to essentially be a living ornament during noble gatherings, but then Anne painted her nails in rainbow colors and her gay heart was immediately won over.

Icy: She has long ass stiletto nails. She's had them for as long as she could confidently pull off the long ass nails look. Long, but not like x-long or any further. She still wants to be able to use her hands without too much of an inconvenience from her nails. I think she'd do her nails as long square nails in her civilian form right up until they get kicked out of CT and any pretense of not being evil is immediately dropped. Takes immaculate care of her nails, she even uses her ice to reinforce her nails so they don't break. They look too good for that.

Darcy: Short-medium squared oval nails, she does not have the time nor the energy to keep up with nails like Icy does and doesn't feel like them constantly getting in her way or getting them redone when they break so she just takes care of her natural nails and paints them herself. Laughs at Stormy when she accidentally stabs herself or at Icy when she struggles to do something because of her nails. In her magical forms her nails are much longer as she doesn't need to take care of them because of magic.

Stormy: Medium length almond shaped nails that she is CONSTANTLY breaking and getting redone. I'm so obsessed with how Stormy is the most feminine and the most chaotic of the Trix. Yes she only wears heels and mini skirts, yes she'll chase you down without breaking a sweat. I'm obsessed with her, but yeah she breaks her nails all the time because she's heavy handed and doing stupid shit and I love her.
