I saw someone design a character based off the Mexican Vero® Mango lollipops. I thought it would have been fun to take a stab at it myself.

I wanted the shape of the lollipop to be the main shape of the character's general body as well as her head and hair. For the hair, I did consider giving her a swirled up do but decided against it and went instead with a spiky do similar to a when you eat a mango (mango chupado).

Gave her dress some sparkle to try and emulate the salty chile sugar powder coating.

In the end, gave her some white knee high boots as a pop of color and to represent the white lollipop stick.

The reason she is wearing glasses is because the modern packaging has the lollipop wearing sunglasses now.

Like I said, this was just a quick study in an attempt at character design.

there's something so...deliberate about the tamarindo tag team (marquez and debora). bc like, how convenient that debora, mexican tamarindo rep, is the reason caye cancels her wedding to alvaro. it couldn't have been anyone else? a local ? a spain rep? and then marquez trying to get with caye, who he knows is engaged to alvaro, the man who's the head of bulevar and wants ur little fusion expansion deal. i know what you're doing circa 2006 writers. u think we want ur men and ur women and that we can't control ourselves. yes, caye and alvaro are hot and yes i totally would under different circumstances. but i would never get involved until after the deal went through (bc im a professional) and i would have made the penalty fee 20 million euros bc im good at business.
