TW- MENTION OF BLOOD, DEATH, AND OTHERS

in which reader is a skaikru member, who’s ancestor is skaikru, but Tristan kidnapped her, wanting her to be the new heda, since Lexa is the last natblida.

'Repeat your sentence Katerina.' Tristan commanded. I'm exhausted. It's been three days without sleep. I don't know if i can handle it any longer. 'Ai laik Katerina Petrova kom skaikru, en ai laik natblida. Ai gaf op heda. Why do i need to learn this? You can speak trigedasleng and english!' I moan out. 'Only warriors can speak english, Polis is inhabited by traders. Besides, when you become heda, you need to speak it fluently.' I look over at Finn, who looks like he can pass out any moment, life isn't easy when you're a skaikru member held hostage. Tristan focuses on his map again, and Finn walks over to me slowly. 'Bellamy os in the bushes, don't make a sound.' He points his head, and i can identify Bellamy. A small smile forms on his face, and he looked at me with confidence. 'Finn, i have a knife in my sleeve, get it carefully, and cut my ties loose.' I whisper hack at him. Finn fiddles around a little before having a steady grip on the knife. He slowly pulls the knofe out, and starts cutting my ties loose. Tristan doesn't have a clue. My ties are cut loose, and Finn hands the knife to me, and i cut him loose easily.

Finn signs to Bellamy that we're ready to help, and Bellamy comes running out of the bushes. 'Hey grounder!' Tristan looks up at him, and Bellamy throws his spear, which Tristan easily ducks. Bellamy doesn't have any other weapons. Tristan climbs of his horse, and grabs his sword. 'Wrong move sky boy.' Tristan walks over to Bellamy, but before he reached Bellamy, i charge at him, letting my knife decorate his back. 'You were going to be heda.' He grabs my hand before i can run, and pressed a knife against my throat, the cold blade letting me shiver. 'Don't move or she dies.' He smiles at Bellamy, who is five feet away. 'Bellamy run.' I yell out, but Bellamy doesn't move. Instead of running, Bellamy drips on his knees, mental torture visible in his eyes. Finn follows, and drops on his knees. 'I swear to god don't try to be the hero now. One life is better then two.' Tristan pressed the knife deeper, and i feel a warm stream of blood making its way down my throat. 'Please don't hurt her.' Bellamy begs. Tristan turned me around, so that i'm facing him. 'Let's get you to Polis.'

A gunshot. Then another. Tristans lifeless body falls down in front of me. I feel a sharp pain in my stomach. I look at my stomach, seeing black blood ruining my shirt. My legs feel heavy. 'Katherine.' Bellamy speeds over to me, and catches me before i fall. 'You shot her!' He yells at someone I can't identify, all my senses are being blocked. All i can feel is the pain. 'Abby, we need help, someone get a stretcher.' I can barely recognize Kane's voice. A woman comes rushing over to me, and drops on her knees in front of me. 'Put pressure on her wound Mr. Blake.' I can't speak anymore. I can't move anymore. The pain is taking over everything. 'Jackson, i need a hot knife.' Abby tips open my shirt, and Bellamy presses his hands hard on my shot wound, it feels a little sizzling. 'The bullet went right through the grounder, but it's still inside of you.' Abby concludes after looking at me for a little while. 'What does that mean? Will she be okay? Can you save her?' Bellamy keeps questioning Abby, and she answers one of the worst answers. 'She currently has bullet shards in her artery, it's been ripped, that's causing the heavy bleeding.' Abby rolled up her sleeves, and took the hot knife out of Jacksons hand. 'Woah, what are you going to do with that.' Bellamy looked afraid of the hot blade. 'I'm going to close her wound, so when we get back to Arkadia i can close the wound.' Abby instructs Jackson to hold me down, and she starts counting down. 'This is going to hurt sweetie. Three.' Bellamy hold my hand, and he looks scared. 'Two.' I squeeze Bellamy's hand softly, and he squeezes back. The knife radiates hot air, and my body feels warmer. 'One.'

The knife touches my skin, and an immediate burning feeling spreads through my body. I scream loudly out of pain, and squeeze Bellamy's hand hard. The hot blade gets removed from my skin, and Abby throws the knife away. 'It's over sweetie, you did a great job.' Abby hand stroked through my hair, and she stopped my tears from coming. 'The wound is closed, but her artery is still ripped. We'll carry her to the drop ship, and start the blood transfusion when we're at Arkadia.' Abby didn't realize what kind of blood she had on her hands. 'Her blood is black.' Finn answers for me, the pain has taken my vocal cords. Abby realizes the new problems that come with my blood. 'Why is it black?' She asks Finn concerned. 'I don't know, but it's something rare that only her and the commander have. The commander is the leader of the grounders.'

'I she going to die?' Bellamy finally asks what I've been thinking. She looked at him hesitant before answering. 'I don't know.' She switches a blood soaked bandage with a clean one. 'We'll carry her to the drop ship on a stretcher. The bleeding won't stop until i can operate her. She can't try to do anything stupid, or she'll die. For now it all depends on where the bullet shards are placed. I can signalize the once i begin surgery. I almost forgot the most important thing.' She looks at me. 'You can't go to sleep, it's likely she'll pass out of pain, or blood loss. If she passes out, there is a bigger chance she'll never wake up.' My weak body gets lifted by two guards, and placed on a stretcher. Bellamy holds my hand, which is he softly squeezes before saying it will all be okay. I know it won't be.

In the past 10 minutes, the pain kept on getting worse. I must sound like Jasper when he got speared. 'Can i go to sleep? I'm tired.' I moan out as i try to pit myself in a more comfortable position, which fails. 'You need to lay down, and we're almost at The dropship. You'll see Raven, Clarke, Harper. But you need to stay awake for that to happen.' Bellamy dips a small cloth on my forehead, cleaning the sweat that has been placed. Finn looks concerned, and i know Bellamy shares his feeling. 'It just hurts so much.' Finn stroked my arm gently, and tries to assure me everything will be fine. Bellamy tries to smile, but a weird mixed facial expression is the result. Abby walked over to me again, and changed my bandage with a new one.

'We're here.' The guards carrying the stretcher stood in front of the entrance, and Kane opened the gate. 'Can i go to sleep now.' I've already closed my eyes, and Bellamy shakes my face lightly. 'Don't go to sleep now, if you stay awake we can get Clarke for you.' The guards carried me inside, but Bellamy and Finn were held back by Kane. 'We need to make sure there is no physical threat. With Bellamy unable to watch me, i took this as a chance to close my eyes again. I expected to hear the voices of 48 happy children running around, being happy to live. No sound was made at all. I opened my eyes slightly, and I couldn't see anyone. My stretcher is let down, and i get positioned on fresh grass.

I'm almost off to sleep when i hear Raven's voice. 'Katherine!' Her voice is weak too, but she still sounds happy. 'Hey.' I open my eyes to see Raven, whose on a stretcher, getting lift down. 'I thought you were dead.' She chuckles weakly, and closes her eyes slightly. 'You can't go to sleep, we need to stay awake together.' I shake her head with the strength i have, and she opens her eyes again. 'Raven!' Finn and Bellamy, who weren't let into the camp before, came in via a secret entrance. Finn speeds over to us, and he touches Raven like she's a porcelain doll.

Suddenly instant nausea comes flooding over me, and i start puking. I'm puking out blood. Raven instructs Bellamy to turn me to my side, and out of panic, Bellamy does so. 'Katherine's puking blood!' More of my ink black blood makes its way out of my throat, leaving a burning feeling. I can't focus on anything else bit the substance leaking out of my throat. The puking doesn't stop until a pool of blood had formed beside my stretcher. Abby is already examining me, and she turns me back to my back. 'Good girl. There's a boy with a stab wound in the ship, get him out so i can treat him.' Abby instructs the guards after complimenting me. Bellamy cleans my blood covered mouth with a now dirty cloth. 'This is bad.' She says after checking out my wound completely. Surgery can't wait. The bullet shards are pressed against your lung and heart.' This certainly is bad. 'If we want you to make it back to Arkadia, we need a blood donor.' I'm zoning out of the conversation, focusing on the air i'm smelling, the grass i'm touching. Everything that could distract me from the pain.

'Katherine.' I hear John's voice. Bellamy lifts up my head a little, and i saw John speeding over to me. 'I thought i'd never see you again.' He kisses my forehead, and a small wave of happiness rushed over me. His face went dark when he saw i was located on a stretcher, bleeding out. 'What happened to you? Who did this?' He hovers over me, and now I'm being treated like a porcelain doll. He start acting like Bellamy. 'The bullet passed through a grounder, and shattered in her body.' Bellamy answered for me as Abby was continuing checking for other damage. 'Will she be okay.' John dropped on his knees beside me. He was hoping for an "okay" or "it's not as worse as it seems." Which never came.

'But continue Abby, what are my options?' I could see fear in John's eyes. 'As i already told you, the bullet shards are pressed against your lung and heart. We have three options, none of them is even near reasonable, but their our best chances. We can either try to get the bullet shards out, but you'll be likely to die on the operation table with such little tools. If we can make it back to Arkadia, i can start a blood transfusion after i've used your bone marrow to make someone a blood donor, but you can die on the way back to Arkadia, or during surgery. Our last option is to put you into a coma. It will compensate for your blood loss as you grow stronger, but this can take weeks, months even. And we don't know if the effects of the coma will influence you positively or negatively. The coma can always be our last option if surgery goes wrong. In neither of the cases we have anesthesia or good equipment, big their our only and best choices. The chances of dying are significant, and if during surgery a wrong movement is made, another part of your artery could rip. '

'Be honest with me, am i going to survive?' 'You're likely to die.' She sighed out. Another feeling to puke made it's way, and i puked out more ink black blood. Abby turned me to myside, and John stood by my side speechless. 'Good girl.' The puking has stopped, and Bellamy was cleaning my face. Abby stroked my hair gently, while placing my head on her lap. Tears were blocking my vision, and a few rolled down my cheek. 'I don't want to die.' I sob through the salt tears that fall into my mouth.

A Positive Resolution to The 100

This is an open letter to everyone involved in the creation of the final season of @cwthe100, as well as anyone with past and present ties to the series willing to help us overcome the imbalance of power.

Whoever worded the above tweet must be aware of the continued negativity surrounding your show; a show that was tipped to become a genre cult hit by the same publication roughly four years ago.

Let’s start at the beginning. We are a Lexa and Clexa fan collective, perhaps controversially and most definitely unofficially speaking on behalf of the greater Clexa fandom. Call this a proposal, an appeal, or a petition. As you’re in the process of wrapping up your story, we ask you to rise above ego and privilege to acknowledge your responsibility as creators by granting Lexa, Clexa, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Eliza Taylor, their fans, the rest of your cast and crew, the LGBTQ+ community, and ultimately yourselves a positive resolution to the Lexa mess.

If you don’t know about the Bury Your Gays trope, please educate yourselves, google it. Much was written about it, the majority of it in 2016, probably using Lexa’s image. Lexa’s death perpetuated this inherently homophobic trope, and you have the rare opportunity to make amends and stand against its future use. You have spent the last season talking about virtual existences and facing your demons. Use your technology and/or the anomaly and unbury your lesbian fan-favorite — reverse the trope and allow this singular character to live through the end of your series.

Remember when Clarke wasn’t ready yet, @kimshum? Your script continues: “A hint of a smile from Lexa, the sense that maybe, someday…” And when Clarke was ready, she told Lexa that “maybe someday, you and I will owe nothing more to our people.” We’re waiting for our someday…

Will you take the show full circle and offer your viewers a positive resolution in the form of a second chance?

Will you allow Clarke to reach her goal, established in the pilot, to see her people build a new life on Earth?

Will love continue to be weakness and used against Clarke and Lexa; or will you prove that it’s the ultimate strength?

Will you let love win by reuniting Clarke with the love of her life, her romantic soulmate, Lexa kom Trikru?

Will you show the world that two women in love deserve to find happiness in each other, without punishment?

Will you honor Alycia’s incredible work for you by turning the negativity surrounding Lexa’s unworthy end into something positive?

We’re not asking to dictate your plot. We’re not asking for fanservice by making a ship happen. We’re asking you to acknowledge your responsibility, to deliver on the promises you made, to right a wrong, to take a stand for responsible, authentic, and better storytelling, to honor the work of your cast and crew by offsetting the negativity with a resolution to benefit everyone:

What will it be? Will you be remembered to have turned on your LGBT+ viewers and to have upheld your lesbophobic message until the end? Or will you be remembered to have learned a valuable lesson and to have passed it on to your viewers?

Lexa deserves better. She deserved better than the to be turned into a plot device after being elevated to a main character in all but in name as you sought to capitalize on her popularity. She deserved better than to be turned into the face of the Bury Your Gays trope. She deserved better than the fate she was given after a life of sacrifice and to die because love is weakness.

And Lexa still deserves better. She deserves better than to be disrespect, invalidated, and vilified, directly or indirectly, by your narrative, by your behavior when facing fans, and therefore by a large portion of your remaining fanbase. She deserves better than to be held hostage as a constant reminder of her death to be used against Clarke and her still-grieving fans. She deserves better than to be kept dead while you introduce motif after motif that could be used to return her to us, to Clarke, and to life itself.

It’s almost too easy. Don’t you want to go out with a bang? Prove the haters wrong. Let love win. Show us the future we deserve. This is your opportunity to do something great!
