Películas que representan seres extraños, alienígenas o monstruosos con materiales artesanales, de fabricación humana: 1- NOPE : Un animal alienígena que succiona, tritura y regurgugita humanos. Sus primeras apariciones lo presentan como una pieza de alta tecnología, de superficies metálicas, lisas, aerodinámicas. Gradualmente, conforme se alimenta de carne y miedo humano, se dibujan las cizas en su parte inferior, como si se tratara de un hongo envuelto en una tela maleable, flexible, siempre ajustada para no restar al aerodinamismo. El paladar de esta máquina engulladora se asemeja a una piscina de bolas inflables de ese color naranja soda pop que toma la piel cuando se ve a través de una linterna que pegamos sobre las venas para intentar vernos por dentro. Cuando la destrucción que ha dejado a su paso tiñe el espacio de un plomo ahumado, la nave abre sus piernas para dejar ver una apertura central de ángulos rectos, los únicos ángulos rectos de esta nave ovaloide - donde yace su poder central. Entre piñata y cometa, decoración de origami e inasible irreverencia, la nave se libera de su forma estructurada para hacerse una con los celajes del desierto. Postrados de asombro y curiosidad ante la organicidad de este depredador galáctico, no podemos evitar una cierta cercanía. Raro y cercano al mismo tiempo, el vuelo de las telas despierta la tierna ilusión de una vida sencilla; la nosalgia de un globo que se deja arrebatar por el viento sin saber cuando y si acaso va a regresar.
