Ok, best 馃崟 in town, hands down. This custom half half pizza is a marriage between 4 types of edible flowers and prosciutto di Parma, wedding held on a house-made mozzarella floor (oh yes they do make mozzarella in Vietnam). Thin crust ground by the way. Japanese likes to go out for drinks after work. Got asked by my sommelier friend who has short hair, funny characteristics and 3 children to go for a late night snacks馃槄馃槵. Finally - B谩nh M矛 Vietnam. No need to describe my desire for some good banh mi. Hey, how about ramen for lunch? It's an awesome idea isn't it. I've been in Japan for awhile but I just got chance to try #ramen here for the first time. #Fish plays a paramount role in #Vietnamese cuisine culture as back then (or even now) our geographical conditions do not allow us to raise big cattle in large amount. The most familiar cattle would be #buffalo that got trained for farming rather than being food. But hey, >3400 kms of coastline length for nothing? #throwback to #Barcelona - Cinq Sentits was a one star #michelin restaurant (also the first michelin starred restaurant Ive been to). Everything was excellent - dishes, decor, service, lighting & presentation. For example this #molecular starter, the only thing I can recall is that this tastes elegant and sophisticated and yet extravagant. A nice experience indeed. Nothing beats "Within" by #daftpunk here. #gastronomy #moleculargastronomy (at Cinq Sentits)

Ok, so this is Vietnamese #homemade #jam/#confit. Unlike Europeans, we don't eat jam with bread or any dish (like foie gras). This is a standalone treat that gets accompanied mostly by #tea. My aunt made this little heavenly #sweet using: tamarind, ginger, banana, peanuts and sugar of course. A bit unusual even to local Viets but hey everyone can be an #inventor! B煤n th峄媡 n瓢峄沶g, a #Vietnamese noodle dish consists of rice noodles, fried springroll and grilled pork served with a mixture of sweet fish sauce. Personally not my favourite type of food. If it's noodles, I prefer broth in it (of course pasta is not included). But you gotta eat what mom brought home dont you?
