“I may have to kill you.”

“They’ll never catch me while I have a hostage.”

“Talk, or I’ll have to make you.”

“Hogtied on the floor is a good look for you.”

“Stop crying, or I’ll have to hurt you.”

Victim:

“Please, don’t tie me up!”

“Let me go!”

The Unspoken Connection: Lydia & Stiles: Stydia

Still trying to collect my Stydia thoughts from Monday Night’s episode and just some general Stydia points in general.

1. Can we talk about how the minute he entered the police station, he had a FEELING it was Lydia’s blood as he looked to the floor? His father was on the ground…injured and if it was anyone else BUT Lydia he would have jumped to be by his father’s side. Instead, it was Scott who jumped to his side as Stiles went to find Lydia.

2. LYDIA IS STILL HIS ANCHOR. SHE ALWAYS HAS BEEN. Even as she’s in immense pain, Lydia stays strong for him and snaps him back to reality. She has endured his panic attacks before and so far has been the only one able to bring him out of them. Lydia knew he’d listen to her.

3. Okay…so why is it that Stiles has no faith in Malia whatsoever when she explains The Dread Doctors when he ALWAYS believed in everything that Lydia said, never second guessing? That was one thing that irritated me was that he always gave a skeptical look of disbelief like Malia was crazy every time she mentioned “the masked figures” Whereas to Lydia he has always trusted her and her instincts. Yes, he’d get frustrated with her but only because he has always believed she is nothing short of capable and that she doesn’t always live up to this capability.

4. Also Stiles was still there for Lydia. It’s not like he disappeared. She was on his mind the entire time. Lydia is always on his mind. Exactly like what happened in Season 1 when Lydia was attacked by Peter. He wanted nothing more than to take care of her but he had Jackson do it. It killed him. He would never give up on her.

5. Not a coincidence that Melissa goes to Stiles first.

6. Lydia is always the FIRST person Stiles sees and is always making sure she’s okay. She’s always his number one priority. Why didn’t he go straight for Malia? With all of the blood and injuries and no sign of Malia why was she not his main concern? When he finally sees Malia…there is no connection. No relief. It’s more as if it’s a business transaction or just an investigation. He doesn’t even attempt to comfort her the same way he comforts Lydia. 

7. They are the only two who realize how intelligent one another is. Lydia and Stiles see each other in a way no one else does. They have an unspoken connection.

8. Remember the time Stiles was missing and how Lydia was SO SURE she knew where he was and when she was wrong how much it hurt her? That she realized she wasn’t good enough or powerful enough to save the boy who always saves her. 

How about how often they just nonchalantly hold hands?

How they protect/worry about one another?

How they hold each other?

How they LOOK at each other?

How they make one another smile?

How they comfort each other?

How often he has a protective hand on her?

Amelia frowned as she looked at her raggedy doctor...he looked the same yet something was off. The optimism that normally radiated off of him was hidden beneath an exterior of regret of some sort, “Hey you.” She said with her dimpled smile as she tapped his nose, “Now I know you and I can sense that you’re in a fowl mood.” Amy brought a reassuring hand to his cheek, “Just talk to me, would ya?” She pleaded, her Scottish accent ringing thick.

The Scot raised her brows, he had given her The Doctor guarantee countless times before which essentially meant that he had no idea what he was doing.  “So tell me, Doctor. What’s the plan now? Seeing as we’re not mermaids and we can’t breathe underwater, which is an issue seeing as we’re in the Sunken City!” Amy yelled with frustration.
