Please take a moment to remind yourself of how much you've already overcome. You might have felt like you weren't going to make it then, but you're here now and you made it. If you were able to get through all that, I promise you will be able to make it through whatever comes your way next or what you are going through now. Stay strong, you got this! 💛
as the colder months approach: i wish you all a healthy, calm end of the year. i wish you tasty cups of tea, comfortable clothes, warm beds, nutritious meals in safe homes, good music, new friends and unwavering health. you deserve good things now.
Shout out to all the people who are still social distancing and wearing masks. Thank you for still taking this pandemic seriously and understanding how an illness can spread from person to person. I pray that the universe provides you with an infinite amount of abundance.
It’s ok to ‘fall behind’. It’s ok to be unemployed and out of education because of your health. It’s ok to go to university in your 20s, 30s, 40s or whenever you can. It’s ok to not go to university at all. It’s ok if your career is volunteering at a charity shop. Productivity does not determine your worth. You don’t have to be what society defines as successful to be successful. You can find happiness in the mundane.
How could you NOT fall in love with the glow of the moon and stars, the warmth of the sun, the ancient life within the trees, and the sweet melodies of the winds?
as the dash moves back to normal, please don’t let this be the end of your activism. this wasn’t just a trend, these are real lives. continue to further your understanding, get educated, listen to black people, and be an active ally.

I have been debating whether to speak up or to stay silent because I simply have not educated myself enough. I did not want to say the wrong thing. But then I realised saying nothing at all is even worse. I have a platform and I want to use it. I want to use it to help make a change in this world. Right now I am devastated and my love goes out to everyone out there who is suffering due to the recent events. It is just horrible. And it must be put to end. Racism needs to stop. We are all the same. We are all human. And it is about time that we treat each other like that. No one is worth less than another. No one is better than another. Knowing that police brutality and racism are two very present issues to this day breaks my heart. All of the injustice has to stop. Now.
I am sending so much love to everyone who protests, who speaks up, who learns, who listens, who prays - to everyone who wants to make a change.
If you know ways to help, please let me (and others) know in the comments. Let us stand and fight together.
