I’ve been meaning to make this post since my old lady kagome fanart got some tags that i very much agree with:

Basically, I do like thinking inuyasha outlives kagome because their relationship is built on making each other stronger and to think Inuyasha can live on without her knowing he loved her all he could and they had a beautiful life together would absolutely destroy me in the best way possible. Inuyasha before kagome could never imagine loving someone without it ending terribly. Inuyasha after her isn’t afraid of love ending because he knows true love never really does

Hi there I saw your post about Corpse Bride Inuyasha fanart 👀 I wish I could draw that but I’m more of a writer and I’d love to make an attempt to write something like that.

How would that be? Who would be who? What’s your vision for that specific world? 👀❤️

all I know is inu is victor, kags is victoria, kikyo is emily, and naraku is barkis. haven’t really given it much thought aside from the fact my brain while rewatching corpse bride literally said “u know who else is a beautiful walking corpse betrayed by a man she tried to care for then tried to bring someone she truly loved with her to the afterlife only to realize he belongs with someone else? kikyo”

im totally more of an artist so I can’t imagine how the plot or world building of it would go. I just wanted them redrawn in the scenes and outfits but a fic would be so neat if you could make it work!!😭🥺💗
