I’ve stopped wearing earphones in public. I think it’s so unnecessary cos it makes me feel disconnected w life. Secondly, if anyone wants your attention - e.g. someone needs direction - you’re basically blocking any emotional, spontaneous connection w strangers from happening. I read somewhere I forget where - that having spontaneous connections w strangers - like a smile , making small talk w people at the tills or witnessing a funny moment w someone - is sooo good for the brain. And can help you live longer!!!

Good Morning! I hope everyone is doing alright

Here are some updates:

I'm on the third draft of my thesis- I'm hoping to have about 4/5 drafts done before a final submit. I'm presenting it in Workshop at the end of the month so hopefully that will yield good results

I went to the March in Washington - pic 3 is from the rest stop in Delaware. I guess the most important thing is not to give up and not to give in - Keep Calling, Emailing, Protesting! Keep Talking about Palestine!!

That being said, I've fallen behind on work a bit; I'm going to have to get better at finding a balance
