FURY POST 3

So, I’m so obsessed that I’m reading HOEAB for the second time, and I noticed this.

No one knows that house Fury is in but she’s a full citizen. Who else doesn’t have a house? The Asteri.

This isn’t clear cut evidence like my previous post, it’s probably a parallel at best but SJM is tricky like that. I’ve learned to never look over even the smallest of coincidences. Fury not revealing her house could have many more explanations but paired with her name meaning that I rant about on my previous post about her, I don’t think it’s a coincidence.

OKAY SO I HAVE BEEN THINKING MORE ABOUT MY THEORY ABOUT FURY AXTAR BEING SIRIUS, THE FALLEN ASTERI.

I decided to look into her name and its meaning. I didn’t find a hidden meaning of her first name but I have found something about her last name. I literally can’t contain my excitement at what the name Axtar means

So, Axtar it derived from Persian, and it means star or constellation. What’s Sirius? A star in the Canis Major constalletion. Also, Asteri literally means star in Greek, it’s just a translation (and I would know, my first language is Greek). So the surname Fury created for herself is a hint at her previous identity as an Asteri.

BUT WAIT, THERES MORE. The word axtar also had the meaning of “unstar” or “off-star”, which is also a hint at Fury’s true identity. If my theory is true, her name literally says that she’s not a star, an Asteri, anymore. This is far fetched but not baseless so I still have hope

Omg I just finished this book yesterday and I can’t stop thinking about it!!!!!! I really want to get the Wicked King but I’ve got a test every two days so I have no time to go to the only bookstore that might have it in my whole country...

I really want to talk about it or just rant about how Jude is fucking amazing and that I love Cardan because it’s evident that he’s struggling with himself but I can’t because none of my friends read the books I do and they always call me crazy and too obsessed with books... Fury Axtar

People have probably already said this but I finished Crescent City about a month ago and I can’t stop thinking about how Fury is the Fallen Asteri that keeps getting mentioned. If you think about it, there was this scene that she was trying to order the Asteri’s tanks (or something, I don’t remember the exact name) to stop moving towards Lunathion. Why else would she order something under the command of the Asteri? My theory is that she’s actually Sirius and in hiding because she hated being an Asteri so she faked her own death. When Bryce was in danger she was willing to blow her cover and order them to stop because they might recognize her as an Asteri? This is probably too far fetched but I can’t take my mind off it...

Representation matters, even when it seems insignificant. Sure, for some it is just some plot line in a book they’re reading or a book they’re watching but for others it’s liberating. That’s what matters about it, not if you agree or disagree with it. It matters because somewhere, in some corner of the world, a kid might come across it and think to themselves “this person is like me and understands what I’m going through”

I don’t think people understand how important it is to have acespec representation in mainstream media and literature. Everyone watches movies & TV shows, everyone reads books. How do you expect a teen to learn about what they are if they have never seen what it is?

Acespec people by far get the least kind of representation in media or books. How do you think an acespec person will know who/what they are if they haven’t heard about it? I’m sorry to break it to you, but not everyone goes online and reads about every LGBTQ+ term there is. The more you don’t know what your certain emotions/thoughts mean, the more you think, “What am I doing wrong?” and with that, you disconnect from your own mind and hate on it. Acespec people are suffering from self-loathe, because they do not fulfill society’s expectations about sex and love. They feel like they don’t belong anywhere. 

So we’re on it, I do not want to see another ace-exclusionist. What am I doing so wrong that bothers you so much? Why are people so hung up on invalidating other people? To give you a brief definition, you are LGBTQ+ if you are not a cis straight sex loving person, and everyone agrees with this. So why are you coming at me for not being a sex maniac and/or a person who does not seek romantic relationships? And these people that invalidate us are not just the ones that are outside the club, we get attacked on the inside, too. There are a lot of LGBTQ+ people who do not agree with what we have to say, and do not accept us. Why?

And finally, I do not want an “ally” to come and say, “Hey, the ‘A’ in LGBTQIA+ stands for us, allies!” No. You are certainly not an ally if you say that. Because if you are an ally, you promise to defend LGBTQ+ people’s rights, and right the wrongs. That’s just plain wrong. You can not erase me from a community that is for me. And if you do, don’t lie to yourself and tell yourself you’re an ally.

Why do I really want to read this?

Ok, so does anyone remember the start of the Half blood prince book?

It’s the Minister of Magic showing up to the muggle minister’s office through Floo and explaining everything about the wizarding world and how the minister of magic would keep him updated on anything that should be known to muggles.

Well at first the Muggle Minister is nervous whenever the Minister of Magic shows up. Mostly because something bad must have happened but also because he is a wizard.

But what if after many visits the two ministers start to develop feelings for each other? And like the muggle Minister feels really bad when he’s suddenly happy to hear the portait cough and he feels guilty because last time he heard it a mass murderer broke out of the wizarding prison

One day the muggle Minister asks about wizarding families and if wizards and witches are allowed to have relationships with muggles. He is interested but he also really wants to see if he has the slightest chance with the other Minister.

And then the Minister of Magic goes “Why do you ask, do you happen to have anyone particular in mind?”. And then the wizard leans in and kisses the muggle and everything suddelnly the concept of magic seams so real to the Muggle Minister, how could it not? Kissing the Minister of Magic is the most real thing he was felt in a really long time
