“When we say Marxism is correct, it is certainly not because Marx was a “prophet” but because his theory has been proved correct in our practice and in our struggle. We need Marxism in our struggle. In our acceptance of his theory no such formalization of mystical notion as that of “prophecy” ever enters our minds. Many who have read Marxist books have become renegades from the revolution, whereas illiterate workers often grasp Marxism very well. Of course we should study Marxist books, but this study must be integrated with our country’s actual conditions. We need books, but we must overcome book worship, which is divorced from the actual situation.”
"Chairman Mao has defined our future as an armed revolutionary youth organization...So if Chairman Mao is our Red-Commander-in-Chief and we are his Red soldiers, who can stop us? First we will make China red from inside out and then we will help the working people of other countries make the world red... And then the whole universe."
“The thesis must clearly point out that real freedom for women is possible only through communism. The inseparable connection between the social and human position of the woman, and private property in the means of production, must be strongly brought out. That will draw a clear and ineradicable line of distinction between our policy and feminism.” - Lenin
At present, the modern revisionists are opposing Marxism-Leninism under the pretext of opposing dogmatism, are renouncing revolution under the pretext of opposing “Left” adventurism, and are advocating unprincipled compromise and capitulationism under the pretext of flexibility in tactics. If a resolute struggle is not waged against modern revisionism, the international communist movement will be seriously harmed.
“There is another kind of dictatorship, the dictatorship of the proletarian majority, the dictatorship of the masses, which is directed against the bourgeoisie, against the minority. At the head of this dictatorship stand the masses; here there is no room either for a camarilla or for secret decisions, here everything is done openly, in the streets, at meetings—because it is the dictatorship of the street, of the masses, a dictatorship directed against all oppressors. Marxists support this kind of dictatorship “with both hands"—and that is because such a dictatorship is the magnificent beginning of the great socialist revolution.”
“Leninism is Marxism of the era of imperialism and the proletarian revolution. To be more exact, Leninism is the theory and tactics of the proletarian revolution in general, the theory and tactics of the dictatorship of the proletariat in particular. Marx and Engels pursued their activities in the pre-revolutionary period, (we have the proletarian revolution in mind), when developed imperialism did not yet exist, in the period of the proletarians’ preparation for revolution, in the period when the proletarian revolution was not yet an immediate practical inevitability. But Lenin, the disciple of Marx and Engels, pursued his activities in the period of developed imperialism, in the period of the unfolding proletarian revolution, when the proletarian revolution had already triumphed in one country, had smashed bourgeois democracy and had ushered in the era of proletarian democracy, the era of the Soviets. That is why Leninism is the further development of Marxism.”
Long overdue is a revolution—a revolution against bosses who control your food, your allowance, and your nightmares. It would be so easy to step into one of those executive conference rooms—at the end of the long hallway where the corner office overlooks the Verrazano Bridge—and gun down the corporate board of directors—just shoot them in the head—it would be a crime for humanity and a cry for justice.
Giannina Braschi. "United States of Banana" (2011). p. 21
Being anti imperialist is not just saying “imperialism is bad”, it’s questioning the narratives of imperialists and not spreading their justifications for regime change because they sound moral on the surface. This is apparently an extremely difficult thing for anticapitalists in the US to do
tfw the People’s War begins to sweep away the old order in order to inevitably destroy it. From the old, the new shall be born. And finally, like the pure and glorious phoenix bird, Communism will arise for all time.
“We have always considered it more important to develop our lives as part of the Party and the Revolution. Life, short or long, we believe should be useful to the most sublime of humanity: the struggle for Communism… and we firmly believe in the construction of the People’s Republic of Peru, a Republic of New Democracy, we believe in the Revolution, in the armed struggle; We raise Chairman Mao’s great slogan to the top: Power is born from the rifle.
This grandiose process of the Revolution in Peru is led by the working class, through its Party, it is the one that gives direction and it is the Party of the working class, the Communist Party of Peru, that has to guide us to our final goal.
We reiterate, a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, Gonzalo Thought Party, the scientific ideology of the proletariat, being Maoism, that is the fundamental and decisive thing for the World Proletarian Revolution and Gonzalo Thought for the Peruvian Revolution, for being the creative application of Maoism to our reality. We reiterate our philosophy of struggle that only with the rifle can the world be transformed.
Many hearts, along with ours, have already undertaken this heroic deed, which will lead humanity to the final goal, which is Communism.”
- Comrade Laura, Communist Party of Peru (PCP)
“When I see Social-Democrats proudly and smugly declaring “we are not anarchists, thieves, robbers, we are superior to all this, we reject guerrilla warfare”, — I ask myself: Do these people realize what they are saying? Armed clashes and conflicts between the Black-Hundred government and the population are taking place all over the country. This is an absolutely inevitable phenomenon at the present stage of development of the revolution. The population is spontaneously and in an unorganized way — and for that very reason often in unfortunate and undesirable forms — reacting to this phenomenon also by armed conflicts and attacks. I can understand us refraining from Party leadership of this spontaneous struggle in a particular place or at a particular time because of the weakness and unpreparedness of our organization. I realize that this question must be settled by the local practical workers, and that the remolding of weak and unprepared organizations is no easy matter. But when I see a Social-Democratic theoretician or publicist not displaying regret over this unpreparedness, but rather a proud smugness and a self-exalted tendency to repeat phrases learned by rote in early youth about anarchism, Blanquism and terrorism, I am hurt by this degradation of the most revolutionary doctrine in the world.”
A man's knowledge consists only of two parts, that which comes from direct experience and that which comes from indirect experience. Moreover, what is indirect experience for me is direct experience for other people. Consequently, considered as a whole, knowledge of any kind is inseparable from direct experience. All knowledge originates in perception of the objective external world through man's physical sense organs. Anyone who denies such perception, denies direct experience, or denies personal participation in the practice that changes reality, is not a materialist. […] There can be no knowledge apart from practice.
